Steve Jenkins was born in Melbourne, Australia, but moved with his family at age 8 to Portland, Oregon. Steve's first video game system was an Atari 2600 that his Dad gave to him and his brother for Christmas many years ago. Steve grew up in Portland, Oregon, where he spent most of his allowance on arcade games; his favorites types being racers (Pole Position, OutRun) and vertical flying shooters (Xevious, Twin Eagle). Steve bought a Commodore 64 when he was 14, and he spent as much time playing games as his parents would allow (alright - maybe he spent more than his parents would allow, but don't tell them, OK?).

Steve originally developed the idea for CheatCodes.com in October of 1996, and currently oversees the development and daily operations of the site.

Steve graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in 1994, and a Masters of Business Administration in Marketing and Entrepreneurship in 1996. He founded the WinFiles.com shareware download site in 1994, and co-founded the VServers.com Web hosting service in 1996, both of which were later sold to other companies. Steve previously worked for Microsoft Corporation as a Product Manager in their Internet Platforms and Tools Division.

Steve currently lives in Seattle, Washington, where he loves to play his game consoles (he owns every kind available) and drop a quarter into an arcade game any time he walks past one.

Steve Cook was born in Taylor, Michigan and grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He started hacking on a Commodore 64 at an early age. While in High School, he installed an Atari 2600 and a 4" B&W TV in his Ford Escort's glove compartment so he could play games during lunch. Steve studied Physics, Computer Science, and Astronomy at New Mexico Tech, where he received a BS in 1993. Prior to co-founding CheatCodes.com, he worked at the VLA/VLBA and did hardware and software testing on F-16 fighter jets. In 2006, he completed a Masters of Business Administration at University of New Mexico.

In 1997, Steve Cook and Steve Jenkins met through a shared passion for Italian automobiles through the FerrariList email discussion list, which Steve Cook founded and still manages. Two years later, they started brainstorming the ideas that eventually became CheatCodes.com. Steve Cook currently oversees all technical aspects of CheatCodes.com, and is primarily responsible for database management, programming, and developing all the interactive functionality of the site.

He loves to play Forza Motorsports, SSX 3, TTT/T4 and Madden on PlayStation 2, SSX Tricky/3, DOA3&4, and Crimson Skies on XBox, as well as the Tony Hawk skating series.
