70 Person Battle
Successfully complete the game and save the Clear Data to unlock 70 Person Battle on the options screen. Disc 3 must be in the Dreamcast in order to play this mode.

Reverse control configuration for Space Harrier
To reverse the control configuration (down and up are switched) in Space Harrier, hold A, X, or Y. "Up input is down" should appear below the number of credits. Press Start to play the game with reverse control.

Extra money
After getting your job, on the second day of work move all the boxes to Warehouse 3 as normal. When the shift ends, do not go to the back of Warehouse 17. Instead, play darts or practice your moves to waste time until Ryo says it is time to go home. When you wake up the next morning, you will have the same work day over again. If you made quota the previous day, you will get paid more money for the same job. This can be repeated as much as needed.

Better slot machine chances
Go to the Lapis fortune teller and choose "Gamble" for your fortune. She will give you a lucky number. Go to the slot house and find the slot machine with your lucky number on it. You should win approximately 70% of the time.

Hidden artwork
Place any of the three game discs in a PC compatible CD-ROM drive to find high resolution .BMP files in the "Omake" directory.

Infinite money (Japanese version)
Take the 500 yen you are given each day from the table and leave the house. Return to the house and enter your room. Leave your room and 500 more yen will be on the table. Repeat this as much as needed to collect an unlimited amount of money.

Real weather
Successfully complete the game and save the Clear Data to unlock "Magic Weather" on the settings menu in the options screen. This option allows the weather in the game to match the actual weather on that date in 1986 and 1987 in Yokosuka.

Hidden audio
Turn on the Dreamcast with no disc inside. When the system screen appears, go to the CD player. Insert any of the game discs. When the Shenmue disc loads, play the CD to hear the Shenmue voices tell you the dangers of putting a Dreamcast GD-ROM in a CD player. Each disc has a different voice. Disc one has Ryo talking, disc two has Chai, and disc three has Nozomi.

Secret Scroll
In order to find the secret scroll in the game you have to go to the dojo, then look up at the sign of "the principles of yin and yang" and Ryo will then say "I cant reach it". Then walk to the candle to the right and zoom in on the stool next to it. Hit the "A" button and then Ryo will pick up the stool and take it to the sign. He will then pull the sign off the wall and he will say "Whats this". You can then take it to Gui Zhang and he can translate it for you.(Note:this code can only be done after you sneak into the old wharehouse No.8)

Day Dreaming
Go outside of the house and there will be a tree standing in front of the dojo, then stand in front of it and press A. And you will see Ryo is day dreaming about a move his father is teaching him.

Hidden 9 Moves
This will be very useful in the whole game. First one is in your house go to the altar room go to the door at the other sidethen turn left look at the box press A you will see a paper get it. Thats the first one. Then the second one is in the basement when you first go there turn right and move forward there will be two shelves look at the right you will find another paper. Thats the second move. Then the third one is in fuku- san's room look at his piggy bank then press right and there will be another paper.thats the third one. Then the other six are in the antique shop but you'll have to buy them they're quite expensive but they're useful. I bought them all. I suggest you to buy them at disc 2 before you pay for your ticket because you have a lot of money that time.

Santa Claus
Set the date of your dreamcast to December 25 and in town you will see Santa Claus walking down the street.

Hidden Movie
When you first start the game, go to he kitchen. There will be some food on the table. Lock on to the plate and a movie will come out. You can see Ryo complaining with his father about carrots.
