Getting Items More Often
To get items more often equip the lucky bag to one of your characters. You get the lucky bag from one of the alchemy brothers. The lucky bag gives you a better chance of enemies dropping items.
Good Training Place
One good training place is Centeral Plaza in New Hiessgart. Whenever you defeat all the enemies in the area go to the entrance that you first came through to get to central plaza and then turn around and go back to Central Plaza. This works great for leveling up since there is a lot of enemies in the area.
