Get A Boost
Before the race there are 3 yellow lights that flash on. If You are using a fast car (like a Mazda Miata, not a cube) press the A button between the 2nd an third light and you will get a boost ahead.

Race Against Go Carts In A Car
To Race against Go Carts in a Car you first have to get extra 1 by pressing and holding down L + R and pressing b + at the title screen. Next you have to race in Championship mode and beat the first track (Hornet). Then get out of championship mode and and race in go cart mode. Race on the second track (Cross). After you beat that track go back to championship mode and race on the second track (Cross). You will now be able to race in a car against go carts.

Boast For Go Carts
Choose any go-cart and hold the A button before you see the screan and keep holding it so when the light turns green your speed meter is in the red part. This will give you an extra boast at the start of the race.

F1 Mode
Go to main menu and hold L and R then press left on the control pad and B.

F1 Boost
If you hold down the a button between the 2 and 3 light you will get a boost.
