  Hello, and welcome to another great Metroid game.  Now, a lot of people havent 
tried this game because of the game that came before it: Metroid Fusion.  That 
game 
stunk.  This game is way better.  It is very hard, though, so I suggest you beat 
it on easy before you go show off on normal or hard modes.  Its a little harder 
than 
Dragon Ball Z: Legacy of Goku II.  Once again, that is a great game that had a 
sucky game that came before it.  I have a FAQ for that, so check it out DBZ fans 
^_^!!!!!!!!!!  Anyway, back to MZM.  Yes, this game is hard even on easy mode.  
You WILL die many times through out the game.  I wrote this FAQ because we get help 
recuests for bosses, so, I hope this helps!!!!!

   Ah, the Metroid series.  Probably the best there is.  A lone woman fighting to 
save the galaxy from Space Pirates and Metroids.  The first Metroid game, METROID 
for the NES system alone was a smash hit.  Then METROID II, RETURN OF SAMUS for 
Super Nintendo took the series to a whole new level.  By the time SUPER METROID 
came out for Super Nintendo and Game Boy, the Metroid series had a great 
reputation, and Millions loved it.  SUPER METROID also was voted best game for 
both 
systems, and the best Metroid yet.  Then, in 2002, Nintendo unleashed two 
Metroids 
at once, METROID FUSION and METROID PRIME.  METROID FUSION for GBA was horrible, 
but the blow was sofened because of METROID PRIME.  OMG!  The best game I had 
ever 
played!  PRIME, for the GameCube, was the first 3D Metroid, and the best.  
Honestly, if you have a GameCube, GET IT NOW!!!!!!  You'll see my Boss FAQ for 
that 
game, too.  Then, 2004, METROID:ZERO MISSION came out as a remake of the origonal 
METROID.  And what a remake it is!  Nintendo extended the game, so you can play 
longer.  So, with all that said and done, lets move on!

  Ok, so, these are a few of the many complaints we get about Boss difficulty.  I 
will not list the names of the senders for privacy policy reasons.  I have put 
the 
questions in Boss order.

Q. How do you shoot the WORM's eye?  He closes it too fast!!!!!

A. Well, its quite simple, wait till he charges you.  Then, quickly aim at the 
eye, 
all the while pressing R.  Then when you get it allined, shoot.  But I can see 
why 
you are having difficulty.  It is annoying cause he's fast.


Q. I missed the WORM the first time.  I know where to go to fight him the second 
time, but I cant get him to come out.

A. HA!  Sorry, but you may have not explored the room.  You have to get the 
missle 
tank or whatever that is there, then you can fight him.


Q. I cant shoot the acid worm.  He hits me too mush, and I die!!!!!!!

A.  Its easy, just get on the pully when he lunges at you, and shoot him from the 
other side.

Q. HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO KILL THE MOTHER BRAIN WITH ALL THOSE &*$#% RINGS 
COMING 
AT YOU?!?!?!?!

A. Calm down!  Just shoot missles like madd at the tank untill it breaks.  Then, 
when she shoots out the wave from her eye, use a Super Missle to hit her.

                               Boss Walkthrough

This is the part 99.9 percent of people will skip to.  Ok, ive had a big enough 
intro.  Heres the Boss walkthrough!



BOSS NO. 1 : WORM
Difficulty: 3/10

Ok, this is easy except for the fact that he is quick on shutting his eye.  Just 
get under him, and when he lunges, move left/right of him.  When he opens his 
eye, 
aim at him with L and shoot.  Do this 2 more times and he dies!

Strategy:  Watch for his eye closing, and lunges.



BOSS NO. 2 : ACID WORM
Difficulty: 6/10

You dont know how many help requests I get because of this boss.  NO ONE USES THE 
PULLEY!  For god's sake, when he lunges at you, jump to the pulley!  When you get 
to the other side, melee him eith missles.  But he can get hard at times, 
expecially when he raises the acid.

Strategy: Watch for his lunges.




BOSS NO. 3 : KRAID
Difficulty: 3/10

For a boss thats supposed to be hard, he's a joke.  Just shoot his nails and hit 
him in the eye with a missle.  Then, hit him in the mouth with missles.  You 
should 
be able to get five hits in.  Get about 15 in his mouth, and he should die.

Strategy: Watch for his arm sweep.



BOSS NO. 4 : BEE LARVA
Difficulty: 2/10

EASY!  Just freeze the beetle, jump on to it, and shoot missles at the cords.  
After all the cords are snapped, it will fall down.  It had no attacks.

Strategy: Nothing.  Like I said, it has no attacks



BOSS NO. 5 : QUEEN BEE
Difficulty: 2/10

Hehe.  This is some boss.  Just shoot its stinger.  Morph into a ball and wait 
till 
it flies over you.  Then just shoot the stinger.

Strategy: Watch out for its stinger.  Roll into a ball when it is of screen.



BOSS NO. 6 : RIDLEY
Difficulty: 4/10

For the King of Space Pirates, and the final boss of almost every Metroid game, 
he's easy.  Let him pick you up.  No, im not crazy, just do it.  When he does, 
shoot Super Missles into his mouth before he can get his fire balls out.  When he 
drops you, avoid his tail attacks, and keep hitting him in the mouth with 
missles.  
He should drop dead in no time.  Well, i shouldnt say he would die just yet.....
Pretty much up untill now its been everything but the boss thats challenging.  
Not 
any more.  From this point on, the game gets hard.

Strategy: Dont let him hit you with his tail.




BOSS NO. 7 : MOTHER BRAIN
Difficulty: 9/10

The Mother Brain alone isnt hard.  Its the rings and the turents and the lava 
that 
hurt you the most.  Ok, so, fire about 25 missles at the tank untill it cracks.  
That should wake her up.  She will shine blue two times, then fire a lazer out of 
her eye.  Jump over it.  After, she will be stunned for a few seconds.  Use this 
time to crouch down and fire a Super Missle at her open eye.  When you run out of 
Super Missles, fire normal missles.  You should be able to get about 5 in before 
it 
closes.  When you finally kill her, you will have two minutes to get your butt 
back 
to your ship, and fly away.  You loose your suit, and everything except your high 
jump.




BOSS NO. 8 : CHOZO SPIRIT
Difficulty: 5/10

  This Boss is pretty streight forward.  Look at your reflection in the mirror.  
move left or right, and you should see a symbol appear.  Shoot it and get your 
first hit.  Then the Chozo Spirit in the background will lift the orb up and fly 
around.  He will occasionally fire a lightning bolt at you, but dont worry about 
that.  Look out for when the symbol reappears in the orb and shoot at it.  It you 
hit it when it shows Samus's reflection, you will get hurt.  Hit it 4 times and you 
win!  Now, one more boss left...
