- Guide is created and uploaded on GameFAQS

==============================================================================
0. Introduction								[000]
==============================================================================

Hi people doing my first zombie guide since a lot of people have been emailing
me about doing one so here it is. This guide focuses on the Zombie Map called
"Ascension" where you are at a soviet launch pad which is the multiplayer map
but only in a darker environment. The game starts out like when of those old
horror movies after some hard work were back in 1968, the game also introduces
2 new weapons and perks. This guide will show you the Perks and Weapons of the
game, a detailed floor by floor guide, Class tiers and a basic strategy guide.

==============================================================================
I. The Perks								[001]
==============================================================================

As we can see here are the perks in this zombie map pack, you have the 3 old
ones with 2 ones introduced into the game.

Juggernog [$2500]
- This is the most important perk ever made for zombie mode, if you don’t have
it then GG people. This perk helps you take twice as much damage from zombies
so from the traditional 2 swipes it takes 4 swipes unless the double hit occurs
which I’ll explain in the enemy guide. I still don’t get it when I pay online
people still try the Mystery Box and not get Juggernog (You can only use that
gun if your alive people)

PhD Flopper [$2000]
- A brand perk introduced in the game and much a useful perk in the game a fun
one to have if you don’t care about the $$$. This perk makes you take now
splash damage from any explosives thrown by you or any damage from the Ray Gun
which is useful but unnecessary since you got your good friend Juggernog,
also this perk can cause a little nuke if diving down a certain amount of
distance which kills all enemies in the radius [Note: that diving on top of
a zombie will cancel the effect thus making you easy food for them]

Quick Revive [$1500]
- Yes I think you know what it means and for people who don’t take a guess. This
perk helps you speed up the time it takes to revive a team member [NOTE: If
playing solo mode you will automatically revive yourself and have Mustang and
Sally equipped]

Speed Cola [$3000]
- This is not as useful in this map since ascension is big place but can still
be helpful. This perk helps you speed up the reload time of any gun.

Stamina Up [$2000]
- The second new perk introduced in the game. This perk acts as the Marathon
and Lightweight perk in multiplayer mode, this is extremely helpful since
Juggernog isn’t always enough to make through a crowd of zombies since Ascension
is a big map is makes travelling to places easier.

==============================================================================
II. Power Ups								[002]
==============================================================================

To help you out in the game, there are power ups to help ease the pain
of zombies.

Carpenter
- This is represented as a Hammer icon, this will rebuild all the windows that
are broken to full health, this is helpful but in the latter rounds 2-3 seconds
isn’t enough time to hold a spot.

Death Machine
- This is represented by 4 bullets icon with a white glow which grants you the
power of a minigun. This is extremely helpful in clearing a horde of zombies
the only problem is that you cannot revive another player and pick a weapon from
the mystery box or a Pack a Punch weapon.

Double Points
- This is represented by an X2 icon, this will double the score of anything you
do to get points i.e. repairing windows, picking another power up except the
death machine and shooting/killing zombies.

Fire Sale
- This is represented by a tag that says FIRE SALE, this will make the mystery
box appear at every location you have unlocked and the price will be only 10
points so take your turns when doing it so you can go far.

Instant Kill
- This is represented by a skull icon, this makes you virtually superman since
everything you shoot or swipe at are dead just like that but don’t be too cocky
this only lasts for 20-30 seconds.

Max Ammo
- This is represented by a ammo box icon, this will replenish all the ammo you
have which means lethal and tactical grenades as well as primary and secondary
ammo (NOTE: that you wait for everyone to reload there weapons and to toss all
their Gersch Devices since full ammo is there)

Mini Nuke
- This is represented by a bomb icon, this will clear out every zombie on the
screen making your life a little bit easier (NOTE: That sometimes when the bomb
goes off some zombies don’t die so leave them alone since they are invincible
for some reason and don’t give out points if you shoot at them.)

==============================================================================

==============================================================================
IV. Class Guide								[004]
==============================================================================

So I created a class guide so people can use, I don’t know if its going to be
helpful but I’ll put it anyways

I Want to Live
Weapon 1: Ray Gun
Weapon 2: Thunder Gun
Perks: Juggernog, Stamina Up, Speed Cola

So this is like the most standard class in every zombie mode since its
virtually invincible in a way. The Ray Gun can take out enemies easy while
the Thunder Gun helps you fend off a horde when you need to move out.

I’m Going for the High Score
Weapon 1: HK21
Weapon 2: RPK
Perks: Juggernog, Speed Cola

This is like a payday for people since this class builds up the points for you,
it wont be really strong in the later rounds but is useful for when trying for
new weapons and buying traps.

I’m a Team Player
Weapon 1: Ray Gun/Thunder Gun
Weapon 2: HK21/RPK
Perks: Juggernog, Quick Revive

This class is good since you can build up points and take out enemies at the
same time, I recommend this for people.

3 Musketeers
Weapon 1: CZ75
Weapon 2: CZ75 Dual Wield
Perks: Juggernog

I don’t know why I’m putting this here but it’s a great way to make f
un classes. Fast and accurate but weak as hell when the latter rounds come in.

I’m on the Cover
Weapon 1: Commando
Weapon 2: Galil
Perks: Juggernog

I’m making a reference to the black ops cover where the guy has 2 Galil’s but
since you cant have 2 Gaili’s I threw in a Commando. This class can last you up
to round 20 if you get the power ups and are a good shot, it also builds points
for you that will be useful.

I’ll Go Hunting
Weapon 1: Crossbow
Weapon 2: Ballistic Knife
Perks: Juggernog

Not even a class but something to mess around with.

Anyone say Threesome
Weapon 1: L96A1
Weapon 2: Mustand and Sally
Perks: Juggernog, Stamina Up

My personal class and I like it a lot (did round 20-28 like this and gave up 3
Ray Guns and 2 Thunder Guns to keep my arsenal). People say that the L96A1
is low class type of gun but is actually really goo dif you can aim with it
since the bullet penetration is really high on the gun (This gun can pierce
through 10-20 zombie heads and is actually really useful when the instant kill
is in effect as it will pierce anything)

==============================================================================
V. Enemy Guide								[005]
==============================================================================

This is to help you understand how the enemy moves and attack.

The good old fashion zombie with a couple new tricks
- So there’s the standard walking zombie which is easy to kill
- The one that jogs after but poses no threat
- Then there’s the one want to eat your brains zombie which runs like hell
after you

The zombies with no legs
- One type is that you blow off 1 leg but they can crawl really fast
- The other type is both legs blown and they move slowly

The Space Monkeys. So these are a new feature in the game they pose a real
threat if you take them lighty.
- They appear in certain rounds like the dogs and pentagon thief
- They will attempt to steal all the perks you have but can only steal them if
they can get to them.
- They jump on the ground and because you will stagger meaning you are
disoriented and cant move as fast, the best way to counteract this is to keep
jumping until you can move normally again.
- If you toss a grenade they will toss it back so don’t so that
- If you get cornered kiss your life goodbye since they are really fast at
attacking even with Juggernog.
- If they don’t hump any of your perks you will get a bottle which means you
get a random perk.

How zombies attack

- So there is the single swipe which is slow and quite harmless but you
ain’t superman
- Watch out for the fast swipes while they are standing are crawling as you
might be done cause of it
- Careful when rebuilding windows when they stick their arm and hit you wait
for them to pull it back in as you will die since you can only take to hits.
- There’s also the double hit when rebuilding windows as this is a glitch in
the game and nothing can be done about it but just take it like a man.

==============================================================================
VI. Floor Guide								[006]
==============================================================================

Floor by Floor guide to help you show where everything is and what places are
a good spot to defend.

==============================================================================

Starting Floor
4 Windows
2 Weapons (M14/Olympia)
2 Doors (750 Each)
Quick Revive Soda
Bear with Sickle
Mystery Box Location
Lunar Lander A

So not much here in the starting room, buy the M14 instead of the Olympia if
you’re going to buy a weapon, don’t forget the bear with the sickle on the
floor above beside the Olympia. This isn’t a room to defend in the long run,
its mostly used for knifes and picking up power ups for the starting rounds.

==============================================================================

2nd Floor
3 Windows
2 Weapons (MPL/PM63)
1 Door (1250)
Juggernog Soda

So if plan to stay on this floor buy the MPL instead of the PM63 since the MPL
has more ammo, a bigger clip size and is much faster. Defend this floor with 2
on the bottom and 2 on the top with 1 on each window. Don’t forget to get
Juggernog when the power comes on.

==============================================================================

3rd Floor
4 Windows + Ground Diggers Spots
1 Weapon (Stakeout)
1 Door/2 Gates (Door = 1000/ Gates = 1250 Each)
Richtofen’s Doll

Not a floor you want to defend since there are 2 many ways for the zombies to
get in and you’ll get swamped. If your defending this floor have 2 people
defend the stairway, 1 defend the window above and 1 go open the door the
power switch and defend that spot. There’s a stakeout but don’t get it.

==============================================================================

3rd Floor Left Gate Taken
5 Windows + 2 Ground Digger Spots
2 Weapons (MP5K/M67 Frag Grenades)
1 Door/Gate (Door = 750/ Gate = 1000)
PhD Flopper Soda
Mystery Box Location
Lunar Lander B
Sentry Gun
Takeo’s Doll

This will a main spot to defend in the later rounds since it is a spot where
zombies are stupid and run around in circles.

==============================================================================

3rd Floor Left Gate 2 Taken
3 Windows + 1 Ground Digger Spot
1 Weapon (AK74u)
1 Door (1250)
Fire Trap
Stamina Up Soda
Mystery Box Location
Bear with Sickle

Not a place to be and not a place to defend since it’s a death trap, nothing
but a mystery box location and Stamina Up.

==============================================================================

3rd Floor Left Gate 2 Door Taken
2 Windows + 2 Ground Digger Spots
1 Weapon (Claymores)
Mystery Box Location
Lunar Lander C
Tank’s Doll

Now this a spot you can defend with 2 people, buy some claymores as they will
save you sometimes also. You want to have the Lander here if your defending
as it is your only way out

==============================================================================

3rd Floor Right Gate Taken
4 Windows + 3 Ground Digger Spots (4 more windows when Pack a Punch unlocked)
1 Door (1250)
Fire Trap
Sentry Gun
Mystery Box Location (2)
Pack a Punch

Not much here but 2 Mystery Box locations and the Pack a Punch room, later on
you would want 1 person to solo here as it easy to do. There’s a sentry gun
to help you out if run low on ammo.

==============================================================================

4th Floor Right Gate Door Taken
3 Windows
2 Weapons (M16/Sickle)
Speed Cola Soda
Mystery Box Location
Lunar Lander D
Nikolai’s Doll
Bear with Sickle

A decent spot to be but not really, you need 4 guys to defend this spot either
wise your dead. The sickle is useful as it is stronger than the knife and will
be helpful for saving ammo.

==============================================================================

4th Floor
1 Window + Dropping enemies
1 Door (1250)
Launch Rocket and Power Switch
Mystery Box Location (Starting Spot)

This where all the important stuff is to begin with, the power switch is, the
launch button for the rocket and where the Mystery box starts off. 1 person
can defend the top but needs someone on the bottom to help him so they don’t
get flanked.

==============================================================================
VII. Strategy Guide							[007]
==============================================================================

So this is a basic strategy guide to help people out and try and get them a
spot on the high scores [NOTE: that this guide is meant for 4 players]

==============================================================================
Strategy A

Round 1-5:
So this is easy really simple rounds so just knife or blow their heads
(it’s a toss up between knifing and shooting but I like to shoot). If your
going to buy a gun buy the M14 since its way better than the Olympia. Have
at least 2 people let zombies in so that you can get the power ups and after
all that is done open the bottom door for the next round.

Round 6-10:
You could run all the way up to the mystery box and turn on the power or you
could buy the MPL and hold downstairs. If you decide to go to the mystery box
wait till the end of round and cripple a zombie so you can spam the box. If
decide to not go up then buy a MPL and 2 people below the stairway and 2 people
upstairs to watch the windows. Be sure to buy Juggernog if you turn on the
power.

Round 11-20:
So these are the rounds where you get the weapons you need, unlock the Pack
a Punch room. Make sure you protect the perks when the monkeys come and upgrade
your weapons if needed.

Round 21+

As the rounds go higher the more zombies and the stronger they are, when this
happens you should split the team up in 3-1, the 3 go towards the PhD Flopper
and hold there and the lone wolf will head towards the Pack a Punch room and
hold there (This idea is to split up the zombies so that you guys aren’t
bunched up together and die)

==============================================================================
Strategy B

Round 1-5
So this is easy really simple rounds so just knife or blow their heads (it’s
a toss up between knifing and shooting but I like to shoot). If your going to
buy a gun buy the M14 since its way better than the Olympia. Have at least 2
people let zombies in so that you can get the power ups and after all that is
done open the top door for the next round.

Round 6-10

Run for the mystery box and turn on the power then make your way towards
Juggernog and buy it, now you want to defend top and bottom on the first
and second floor since the bottom door is locked the zombies can only come
down the stairs making easy them easy for you to kill and defend at the
same time.

Round 11-20

Have 2 people defend downstairs by the MPL and 2 people by the PhD Flopper,
this way the zombies are split up and running out of ammo isn’t a big deal.
Also is time to buy all the pack you need to advance in the later rounds.

==============================================================================
Strategy C

Round 1-5
So this is easy really simple rounds so just knife or blow their heads
(it’s a toss up between knifing and shooting but I like to shoot). If your
going to buy a gun buy the M14 since its way better than the Olympia. Have
at least 2 people let zombies in so that you can get the power ups and after
all that is done open the top door for the next round.

Round 6-10

Buy the MP5K and head through both gates and go to Lunar Lander D, buy the M16
and hold there, have 2 people watch the doorway and have the other watch 1
window each. This will prompt power ups helping you out.

Round 11-20

Turn the power on and buy Juggernog and either all camp by the PhD Flopper or
do that 2 and 2 strategy from Strategy B. Buy and unlock all the stuff needed
for the later rounds.

==============================================================================
VIII. Easter Eggs 							[008]
==============================================================================

This is help you find some secrets in the game but they don’t really help you.

So there are 3 bears that play "Abracadavre" by Elena Siegman and here’s
where they are

1. In the starting room, go up to the Olympia and keep going to the edge
and there’s your first bear.
2. When you go the Stamina Up, look for the Red Star and the bear is there
3. By Lunar Lander D, cant remember where but look up for it.

There are 4 Dolls in the game, 1 for each character in the game, these will
talk if you hold the reload button on it.

1. Tank’s Doll is on the barrels beside the Claymores
2. Nikolai’s Doll is on top beside the Speed Cola
3. Takeo’s Doll is on the rack to the left of the PhD Flopper
4. Richtofen’s Doll on the desk inside before the 2 gates on the 3rd floor.
