STORY Okay, you are in a land called Nosgoth and you are a Noble named Kain. One night you are in a tavern and the tavern keeper tells you that it's closing time, so you have to leave. When you get outside, several thugs attack you and kill you. You are then resurrected as a vampire hell-bent for vengeance. ************************************************************************** ************************************************************************** III. CONTROLS D-Pad: Navigate Kain through Nosgoth. Select: Access Options Menu Start: Access Inventory Menu X: Cast spell/ Use item, Jump (wolf form), Skip FMA. Circle: Action, Feed, Talk Triangle: Access Forms Menu L1: Zoom in/out L2: Access overhead map R1: Quick access to spells menu R2: Quick access to item menu ************************************************************************** ************************************************************************** IV. ITEMS Heart of Darkness: This will bring Kain back to life with a very small amount of blood. If you use this when Kain is still alive, you get a larger amount of blood. Flay: Spinning blades that track the enemy that they are thrown at. Implode: When thrown at an enemy, it causes the enemy to crush itself. Slow Time: Causes all the enemies to slow down for a short period of time. Font of Putrescence: Causes an enemy to become a poisonous puddle of goo. Energy Bank: Gives Kain unlimited magic for a short time. When it runs out you will have no magic. Pentalich of Tarot: A random mixture of 5 interesting deaths. Anti-Toxin: Cures Kain of poison. Red/Green/Blue/Purple Orb: Refills Kain's Magic vial. Blood Refill: Refills Kain's Blood vial. Blood Vial: Increases Kain's HP. Rune Triangle: Increases Kain's magic capacity ************************************************************************** ************************************************************************** V. SPELLS Sanctuary: Returns Kain to his crypt. Use when you are low on health. Light: Illuminates the area for a short time period. Energy Bolt: Use to kill enemies and flip switches. Repel: Makes Kain invulnerable for a short time period. Very useful. Inspire Hate: Causes enemies to attack themselves. Stun: Just what the name implies. It stuns enemies in 1 hit. Incapacitate: Temporarily stops an enemy. Mind Control: Control a human's mind until the body dies. Blood Gout: Take the blood of an enemy without even touching them. Blood Shower: Same as Blood Gout except it affects all enemies in the area. Spirit Death: A projectile takes the soul of an enemy from the body and leaves them dead. Lightning: Hits enemies and must be used outside. Spirit Wrack: Same as Mind Control except you control the spirit. ************************************************************************** ************************************************************************** VI. WEAPONS AND ARMOR Armor ------- Iron: Standard armor, and your best all-around protection. Bone: Causes weaker undead enemies to ignore Kain. Chaos: Enemies who attack Kain receive the same damage. Flesh: Takes the enemies blood so you can keep your mind on killing. Wraith: Damage Kain takes is split between his health and magic vials. Weapons -------- Iron Sword: An heirloom-quality weapon equally good for hacking open barrels and enemies. Mace: Stuns human enemies and destroys breakable obstacles. Axes: A brutal two-handed weapon perfect for cutting bloody swaths through multiple enemies. You cannot use magic or items with these equipped. Flame Sword: Burns enemies with each hit. More powerful than the Iron Sword. Soul Reaver: Kills enemies with 1 hit. It uses magic, and you cannot use magic or items with this equipped. ************************************************************************** ************************************************************************** VII. WALKTHROUGH Just a few things I need to say before we begin with our little adventure. Please make sure that you read the instruction book before you begin so that you will know how to control the game. Also in the walkthrough I am including the 100 secrets. Most people list them in the order that you find them in the game. I am listing them in the order that you can get them. Yes, there will be very much backtracking, but you will get everything in the game. Also there will most likely be some spoilers in here, so if you don't want to ruin the fun of playing this game, don't use this. If you don't mind, then by all means continue. With that said let's begin. Also I will not mention enemies unless they are needed to complete a puzzle. Lastly, when in a dungeon, I will go area by area, much of the time. What I mean by that is that when you first enter a dungeon, press the map button. The area that appears on the map is an area. There are also four types of blood, here's what they do. Red: Fills blood vial. Blue: Fills mana vial. Black: Takes blood from blood vial. Green: Poisons Kain. Will wear off with time pending you have enough blood in you. Make sure that you save often. It will save you much frustration. ========================================================================== The Beginning ========================================================================== As you start the game, you are a normal human and the tavern keeper tells you that he's closing the tavern. So go outside and you are going to be killed. Don't bother fighting back, because the more bad guys you kill, the more they will keep coming at you. So just let them kill you so that you can go on. Once you are dead, there is an FMV sequence and you will be resurrected as a vampire. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Part 1: To the Pillars of Nosgoth ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ========================================================================== Kain's Mausoleum ========================================================================== You start out in Kain's Mausoleum. Go to the top of the room and hit the switch to open the door on the left. In the 2nd room get the SANCTUARY spell and then go up into the next room. Kill the person here and a door on the right will open, go through this door into the fourth room. Head all the way across the room to the right side and push the stone to get a HEART OF DARKNESS. Now go up into the next room. (You know what, I will tell you when an item is in the room, and what it is. But I won't say how to get it unless there is a need for an explanation. Otherwise this guide will be about... well let's just say it would be very very huge.) There is a HEALTH VIAL in the room on the left with a victim. On the right there is a RUNE TRIANGLE. Then go out and hit the switch at the top. In this next room get the RED ORB and then go to the SAVE POINT to the right. After saving go back into the room on you were just in. From here go up and follow the path outside. ========================================================================== The Cemetery ========================================================================== You are now outside and it is raining. Rain hurts. From here go south and enter the building down there. Don't worry about that BLOOD REFILL on the other side of the fence, we'll get it later. Inside the building, there is a SAVE POINT on the right. So after saving, go back into the main room and head up then left. Just follow along the corridor (believe me, you can't get lost. I've tried...) and eventually you will come to a room with some spikes and a HEALTH VIAL and RUNE TRIANGLE. After getting those continue along the path. Further up the path you will find a RED ORB. After getting that, go on up and through the door. Press the 2 switches to get by the different obstacles. You will now come to 3 switches in the same spot. Flip the first 2 switches to get rid of the spikes. Now kill the grave keeper to open the door. Go forward and get the FLAY and then continue through the next door. In this area there is an opening a short way up on the right. Go there and you will see a sarcophagus with a carving on it. Walk up to it and it will open revealing a HEART OF DARKNESS. Further along the main path you will find another sarcophagus that will yield a FLAIL. Continue along the path until you see 2 large stones sitting in the middle of red symbols. From here go right and open the chests. You will get a RUNE TRIANGLE and a HEART OF DARKNESS. Now take and continue along the main path to the next door, to the next area. In this next area just follow along and there is a room on the right leading to a SAVE POINT, the other door leads outside. ========================================================================== Ziegsturhl ========================================================================== Follow the path along and soon you will see a blue glowing ball. That is a MANA REFILL. After getting it, continue along your way. You will see a VISTA MARKER after a while in front of a sign pointing to Ziegsturhl. Beyond that continue along your path. NOTE: I will only mention buildings that can be entered. And I thought I lived in a small town. The first building on the left is a tavern. In the back is a LARGE BLOOD REFILL that you cannot get yet. The first house on the right has a barrel in it with a FLAY inside. The second house on the left has 2 barrels with FLAYS inside. After you are done in here, head south again. ========================================================================== The Pillars of Nosgoth ========================================================================== Moving on down the path, you will come to a VISTA MARKER on a bridge, and then another VISTA MARKER on the other side of the bridge beside a sign pointing back to Ziegsturhl. Continue along the way you were headed. Soon you will come to yet another VISTA MARKER that shows you the Pillars of Nosgoth in the distance. Headed further up the path is a TELEPORTER that sends you to the Pillars of Nosgoth. When you go up to the Pillars of Nosgoth a spirit will give you your mission for the game. You must restore balance to the Pillars of Nosgoth. The only way to do that is to kill each person connected with the Pillars. Your first victim is to be Nupraptor. To leave the Pillars of Nosgoth go to the TELEPORTER to the southwest of the Pillars. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Part 2: Nupraptor ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ========================================================================== The Shrine of Light ========================================================================== Head to the west a little and you will see a VISTA MARKER. It will tell you about the BAT BEACON beside you so be sure to activate it. To activate it walk on the small gold square in the front of it and a green symbol will appear. Also make sure to get the BAT FORM. As a bat you can move faster to any point that can be highlighted on the map. Whenever you change into another form, you will use mana the entire time you are in that form. After getting those items, head south along the path. Enter the building that you come to. From the entrance head left to the SAVE POINT. From the SAVE POINT head to the right. Soon, you will see a slight purple glow along the wall, walk into the wall to activate SECRET #1, and you will get a BLOOD VIAL. Now head up and in the 2nd lit up area there is a BLOOD VIAL to the left. Head on up to the next room. In this next room get the LIGHT spell and 2 RED ORBS. Heading on up in the area, there is a place where you can go either left, right, or up. The way up is the way to the next area, but you need to open the door first. So go right and flip the switch, then up and to the next area. There is nothing important to the left. In this new area, get the RED ORB and then follow the path down. You will find a switch on the right near a prisoner. Go through the door you just opened and continue down. You can't miss seeing the FLAY in this room. On the path beside the FLAY is a switch to open the door to the next area. In the next area here, get the RED ORB and flip the switch on the upper right. Go through the door at the bottom left. In here you can get a RUNE TRIANGLE on the right. Going on down, you will come to a place where there is a door on the left and one on the right both closed and there is a sarcophagus and a pillar together. You will notice a faint reddish glow around the pillar so step beside the pillar and both of the closed doors are now open. That is SECRET #2. The room on the left has a FLAY and 2 prisoners, the right a HEART OF DARKNESS and 2 prisoners. Once you have all of that, go down and into the next area. In here get the FLAY and 2 RED ORBS surrounded by spikes, and then head down and out back into the entrance area. Save again at the SAVE POINT. After saving, go back outside. ========================================================================== The Wolf Cave ========================================================================== From the Shrine of Light, head west. You will come to a VISTA MARKER pointing to Ziegsturhl. A little past that you will find another VISTA MARKER pointing to Nachtholm. Go north past that and you will find the entrance to the Wolf Cave. From the entrance head right and go to the SAVE POINT. Now go back to the main path. Follow the main path until you are in a room surrounded by spikes, and you see the WOLF icon in front of you. After getting the WOLF icon, turn into the wolf and jump over the spikes on the left. Now head down and jump over some more. You should now be next to the bottom wall. Head left and then up and jump over more spikes to flip a switch. From the switch go back to the center of the room and then to the upper right. In the upper right corner you get a RED ORB. Follow the path down and you will come to a BLOOD REFILL and an exit. Take the exit. Outside and to the right you will see a FLAIL and HEART OF DARKNESS that you can collect by jumping onto the ledge. Make your way up some more ledges after that and then jump across the water. On some more ledges, you will find 2 BLOOD REFILLS, 2 HEART OF DARKNESS, and a FLAY. After getting these, enter the cave entrance up here. Back inside, follow the path until you see a large door that is closed. Head either right or left (you have to go both anyway). Assuming you went right first, you will see a RED ORB which you probably need badly after fighting axe guy. Avoid the spikes and a switch. The left side is the same. After hitting both switches, the large door is now open. Go in and get onto the TELEPORTER. You are now back in the entrance to the Wolf Cave. Save and go back outside. ========================================================================== The FLAY Spirit Forge ========================================================================== Head east just a little bit and you will see some ledges that you can jump up headed north. Follow along and you will come to a VISTA MARKER pointing to Ziegsturhl. From here the path splits, you can go either north, or west. Go west. Jump up the ledges and follow the path to the Spirit Forge. West of that is another BAT BEACON. Go inside the Spirit Forge and sacrifice most of your blood to get 10 FLAYS and SECRET #3. Once that's done, go back outside and make your way back to the cemetery close to Kain's Mausoleum. ========================================================================== The Cemetery (revisited) ========================================================================== You are back here to collect some secrets. Go to the east side of the first building and you will see a FLAY on the other side of the fence. Use the wolf form to jump the fence. That's SECRET #4. Go south of there and jump over another fence to get SECRET #5, a BLOOD REFILL. South of #5 jump over another fence, and enter the building here. This is SECRET #6. Get on the TELEPORTER and you get sent to a small building southeast of there. Outside you will find 3 PENTALICH OF TAROT. Go back inside and use the TELEPORTER to get back across. Now make your way to Ziegstuhl. ========================================================================== Ziegstuhl (revisited) ========================================================================== Go into the tavern (first building on the left). Jump over the counter as a wolf. Go to the red lit area and the bookcase on the left side will open up to reveal a TRANSPORTER. That was SECRET #7. It is the backdoor to the FLAY Spirit Forge. Go back outside now unless you want some more FLAYS. ========================================================================== The Energy Bolt Shrine ========================================================================== Go back to where earlier, where the path split west and north close to the VISTA MARKER. This time you are going north. The Energy Bolt Shrine is the first building that you will come to along the marked path. NOTE: Whenever you enter a new area to a dungeon of any type, look at the map so that you can have a general idea of where you are going. And I will from here out, whenever in a dungeon, go area by area. Trust me, it'll be less confusing. There is a SAVE POINT just inside the entrance. I advise using it. After saving, head up and into the first area of the Shrine. Area 1: In this instance, you can see the whole dungeon when you look at the map. You will be moving in a counter-clockwise direction. At the "Y" at the top of the room, go right, and get the RED ORB. In the second room, there is a large spike pit, get the ENERGY BOLT SPELL and the 2 RED ORBS. Now move through the exit at the top. In this room, there are a bunch of pillars, get the RUNE TRIANGLE and RED ORB. Then flip the switch at the top on the other side of the spikes using the Energy Bolt spell and exit the room via the lower left corner. In the fourth room, there are three alcoves with spikes and switches that you need the Energy Bolt spell to flip. Flip each switch to get the 3 RED ORBS, and the victims, then flip the middle switch again to open the door at the bottom. In the fifth, and final room, get the BLOOD VIAL and 3 RED ORBS. Then go to the upper-right and flip the switch to open the door at the bottom. Now you can exit the dungeon. I recommend saving before you leave though. (I save as often as possible.) ========================================================================== The Blood Fountain of Strength (1) ========================================================================== From the outside of the Energy Bolt Shrine, follow the path to the east, then north. The next town you will enter is Nachtholm, however, you can't enter it just yet. After you pass the second sign pointing to Nachtholm, look at your map. See that open cave just after the path begins to head north again? You need to turn into your wolf form and jump up there and go inside. That is the Blood Fountain of Strength (1). Go inside and drink the red blood to get stronger. Now you can enter Nachtholm. ========================================================================== The Cemetery (revisited, again) ========================================================================== Go back to the Cemetery near Kain's crypt, and enter the first building. To through the building until you come upon 2 boulders that are in symbols of blood. Push the boulders off of the symbols and a door will open to the right, beneath the furthest treasure chest. This is SECRET #8, here is the booty: 8 FLAYS, 4 HEART OF DARKNESS, and 3 PENTALICH OF TAROT. Now return to Nachtholm. ========================================================================== Nachtholm ========================================================================== To enter Nachtholm, push the boulders out of your way, and go up the bridge. There are 4 clusters of buildings that make up this town. In the first cluster, enter Ye Towne Tavern and get the 3 FLAYS. In the Lion Head Pub, is a FLAY. Now on to the second cluster of buildings. In the Nachtholm Armoury, is a FLAY. Now head to the third cluster (east from the second cluster). In the King's Tavern, you will get 2 IMPLODES. That is all of the items in the town. Now look at the map, go to the open cave just to the north of the town. You will take a little bit of damage by walking through the water, but it's worth it. Enter the cave for SECRET #9. Get onto the TELEPORTER and you will be sent to a "Stone Henge" type area. Here are the items there: 7 RED ORBS, 6 BLOOD REFILLS, 10 FLAYS, 3 HEART OF DARKNESS, and a SLOW TIME. Now get back onto the TELEPORTER to leave. Back in Nachtholm, follow the bridges east until you come to where you can jump onto some ledges and work your way up to a Moon Cave. Now the funny thing about Moon Caves are that they are only open during a full moon. So since it's a full moon now for me on the game, I'll go ahead and enter. It's SECRET #10 by the way. Here's the loot: 1 Blood Vial, 1 Rune Triangle, 2 Heart of Darkness, 5 Flays, 2 Implodes. After getting all of the items, head back outside. Now take the path north out of town. On the way out, you will see 2 VISTA MARKERS. One for Nachtholm, and one for Steinchencroe. Anyway, head on North out of town. ========================================================================== Blood Fountain of Rain ========================================================================== Just north of Nactholm, you will see a cave. Enter this cave and drink from the blood fountain. This blood will make you immune to rain. Yay! ========================================================================== Steinchencroe ========================================================================== From the Blood Fountain of Rain, you will see a split in the road and a VISTA MARKER. You can go either north or east. Go east first. Soon you will come to where the path to the east is blocked by a huge boulder. Go past this and head slightly north for a bit. Soon after that you will see where the path branches off to the east again. This time, go east. Once here, activate the BAT BEACON and then return to where the road splits beside the Blood Fountain of Rain. After that, head north and into the city. As you get closer to the city, you will see another VISTA MARKER step on it to hear a little bit about the place. From where you enter the city, head up and enter the first building on the right that you can. Go all the way to the back and get the IMPLODE. Now you can kill some women if you want or leave the building, your choice. Head up some more until you come to the North gate to the city and instead of going outside, head left and follow the path around. Enter the Big Horn Brothel when you come to it, it has a VISTA MARKER beside it. Inside go up the stairs and destroy the 2 barrels to get 2 IMPLODES. Now take the left doorway, inside you will get victims. In the right doorway you get 2 FLAYS. Now go through the center doorway. See that chair in the center of the back of the room? Push it left a little bit and a doorway will open in the back wall. This is SECRET #11. Go through and step onto the TELEPORTER, and you will be transported to the IMPLODE Spirit Forge. By the way, getting into the Implode Spirit Forge is SECRET #12. ========================================================================== Spirit Forge of Implode ========================================================================== Okay, here is how to get to the Spirit Forge of Implode from Steinchencroe. Just walk out the North exit to the city and jump up the ledges and walk into the moon cave there. That's all there is to it. Now head back into Steinchencroe. You're not done there yet. ========================================================================== Steinchencroe (revisited) ========================================================================== Follow the path past the Big Horn Brothel and enter the building just past the Big Horn Brothel. Inside you will get 2 FLAYS. Now go back outside and head to the left. Step on the 2 VISTA MARKERS and hear all that the crazy person has to say. After that, you can leave the city. ========================================================================== Gypsy Camp ========================================================================== Following the road north out of Steinchencroe you will come to where there are 2 VISTA MARKERS beside each other. One points towards Steinchencroe, and the other to Vasserbunde. Now if you follow the road to the southeast from here you will find a moon cave and the path that leads to the BAT BEACON. You will get that moon cave later. For now head north to the Gypsy Camp. You will come to a split in the road, left or right. Go right, and you will see a VISTA MARKER. Enter the orange tent and get the DISGUISE form. Now you can blend in with everyone else, while your magic lasts that is. Use the disguise and head north and you will see another VISTA MARKER. From there head north into Vaserbunde. ========================================================================== Vasserbunde ========================================================================== Enter the first building on the right. Once inside go up the stairs and enter the room on the left. Inside you will get 2 BLUE ORBS, 2 SLOW TIME, and an IMPLODE. Now go back outside. Beside the building you just came out of, there is another VISTA MARKER. Step on it to get a view of Nupraptor's Retreat. If you are somewhere else in the world (game world) and you fly to Nupraptor's Retreat, you will fly to Vasserbunde. If you look at the map, you will see where 3 buildings form a "C". Enter the building at the top of the C to get a SLOW TIME. Now go back outside. Head north and you will see where there are 2 VISTA MARKERS next to each other. One points to Coorhagen, the other to Vasserbunde. Now there is another one just above them beside the Chopping Block. Inside you will get 2 IMPLODES. Inside the Village Smithy, you will get 6 FLAYS. Continuing along the path, you will come to a building with a stone pillar in front of it which you can't enter yet. So enter the next building. Inside is a HEART OF DARKNESS and a FONT OF PUTRESCENSE. In front of the building, the path will branch south and west. Go south and enter the large building down there and get the IMPLODE. Now go back and take the west path and go across the bridge and step on the VISTA MARKER. ========================================================================== Nupraptor's Retreat ========================================================================== Follow the road southeast of Vasserbunde and you will come to a building beside a gate. Enter the building and go into the back room and flip the switch. This opens the gate outside. Now go around the lake and enter the second cave. Along the way to the caves, you will come across a VISTA MARKER. At the second cave, go all the way to the end and get the SLOW TIME. Now go back outside and enter the first cave. You are now in Nupraprot's Retreat. I suggest saving, as it will be a while before you can save again. After saving, head up through the door at the top of the room. Now to begin the dungeon. Area 1: While dodging fireballs, avoid the liquid that looks like someone had a really bad case of the runs. Make your way to the right until you come to a VISTA MARKER. When you get there head up and get 2 FLAYS. After you have done that follow the hallway down and around to the exit. Area 2: Make your way to the top left while avoiding the traps and liquid. Area 3: Get the PURPLE ORB at the entrance and then head up and get the PURPLE ORB and FLAY, then hit the switch. After doing that start to head down. And then make your way to the exit to the left. Near the exit, you will find a BLOOD REFILL. Area 4: Walk up the stairs and then take the path to the right. Go to the end of the hallway here where you will end up in a room with 3 chains on the wall. Pull the first and third chains and then return to the area just at the top of the stairs. Enter the area heading up the hall that you could not earlier. Get the BLOOD REFILL just on the other side of the entrance and then continue moving on up. Along the way you will come across a FLAY and a PURPLE ORB. At the top, hit the switch on the wall and enter the door to the right of it. Area 5: Head up from the start and shoot the switch across the spikes then enter the room to the left to hear a little bit from Kain. After that, head right and up. You will pass a door that you can't enter yet. At the top, pull the chain and then enter the door that you just passed. Head up and step onto the VISTA MARKER. And then pull the chain on the wall to open the door to the right. Then go up through the larger room here and exit the area through the door. Area 6: At the top of the stairs, shoot the switch and go through the door at the right and to the exit at the top. NOTE: Are all of those undead skeletons annoying you? Kill the flute player in green to get rid of them. Area 7: Welcome to the Four Tests. None of these tests are hard. Head to the top of the room and you will find a RUNE TRIANGLE and a BLOOD VIAL. For the tests, we'll start at the upper right. Head there and hit the switch in the wall to open the door to the test. After that enter for test #1. Test #1: Climb the stairs and the lights will go out. Kill all of the enemies that appear and then head to the TELEPORTER at the top. Test #2 is to the bottom right. Flip the green switch on the wall and enter the door. Hit the switch in the center painting and go through the door to the right and step onto the TELEPORTER. Whatever you do, do not use the light spell here! Just walk along the light path on the floor and when you come to the end of an area, walk around on that lit area until you hear the click of a switch being flipped and another lit up area will appear. Do this until you reach the TELEPORTER at the end. You will also find a BLOOD REFILL there. The secret to that test is to stay in the light. If you get off of the path, you must begin again. Test #3 is to the bottom left. Flip the switch on the wall and enter the door. Walk across the spikes that are in the floor and flip the switches on the other side. As you turn around you will notice that the spikes are now out of the floor. Just follow the pattern, as the spikes go down, they are safe to step on until they come back up. Just follow this pattern throughout the room until you reach the TELEPORTER at the end. Along the way, you will find another switch, a BLOOD REFILL, and a PURPLE ORB. Test #4 is in the upper left. Flip the switch to enter the door. Let the test begin. Go up the hallway and into the first room on the left. Get the SLOW TIME and touch the statue. Now go into the room above it and get the ENERGY BANK. Now go through the doorway to the right and back into the hallway. Head down to the bottom door on the right. Touch the statue at the top to unlock the door to the TELEPORTER. In need of blood? Head into the alcove to the right. Now you are back in the chamber with the brain on the floor. Enter the door at the top of the room and exit this area. Area 8: Make your way into the room that looks like a lower jaw. Flip the switch there and you will unlock SECRET #13. Go back into the center chamber above and enter the door to the left. Here's all the items: 5 FLAYS. Now head up the stairs at the top of the center room and exit this area. Area 9: In area 9 head to either the bottom left or bottom right and enter either door. Area 10: Go to the structure in the center and through the door at the top of it. At the bottom you will find a FONT OF PUTRESCENSE. Now head back up and go into the "eyes" to find 2 VISTA MARKERS, a BLOOD VIAL, and a RUNE TRIANGLE. Now go back through either door at the top. Area 9: Go to the very top and get onto the TELEPORTER. Area 11: Collect the 2 FLAYS, 2 HEART OF DARKNESS, and BLUE ORB. Then get onto the TELEPORTER with the dark symbol. Area 12: Save and then go to the next area. Area 13: Listen to Nupraptor whine and then go into the door at the top. It's time to shut that fool up! Boss Battle: Nupraptor the Mentalist! Nupraptor will produce a row of energy balls that roll along the floor to you. The purple balls fade, so walk through them and up to Nupraptor. You can only get in 1 hit before he teleports to the other side. Repeat this process until he appears in the center and then hit him a couple of more times to kill him. Take his head and go to the exit. In the next area you will get the MACE. You remember how earlier there were some stone pillars that were blocking your path? This will erase those problems. Now smash the black chests open to get 2 BLOOD REFILLS and then head down to the exit. You will automatically fly back to the Pillars of Nosgoth where you get your next assignment. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Part 3: Malek ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ========================================================================== Steinchencroe (revisited) ========================================================================== Return to Steinchencroe. Once you are there, look at the map. To the east of the city (near where the BAT BEACON is) you will see a cave. Enter the cave to get SECRETS #14 & #15. To get #15, you will need the Mace. Here is the booty: PURPLE ORB, 7 FLAYS, 4 IMPLODES, and 3 HEART OF DARKNESS. Not to mention a bunch of victims. ========================================================================== Vasserbunde (revisited) ========================================================================== There is a house on the western side of Vasserbunde with a stone pillar in front of it. Smash the pillar and go inside. In the center room you will find 2 FONT OF PUTRESCENCE. Go into the left room and into the upper-left corner. You will find a hidden switch in the floor. This is SECRET #16. Go back into the center room and there is now a doorway where the cage was. Enter the doorway and go to the TELEPORTER. This is the backdoor to the Font of Putrescence Spirit Forge. You can also go ahead and get SECRET #17 by walking up and into the Spirit Forge. ========================================================================== Blood Fountain of Magic (1) ========================================================================== Head north of Vasserbunde and you will soon come to a cave. This is the Blood Fountain of Magic. It will increase your magic recovery speed. Now go back outside. Just south of the Blood Fountain is a stone pillar. Smash it and get SECRET #18. Get the goods: 5 FLAYS, and 4 HEART OF DARKNESS. Now head north. ========================================================================== Font of Putrescence Spirit Forge ========================================================================== Head north from the Blood Fountain of Magic (1) and you will come to a VISTA MARKER. Then head north from there and you will soon come to a Moon Cave with a VISTA MARKER beside it. This cave is the Font of Putrescence Spirit Forge. After doing what you need to do there, head west dead man. ========================================================================== Coorhagen ========================================================================== Welcome to homeboy's hometown. There is a VISTA MARKER just outside the town. Enter the lone house to get 2 FLAYS and a GREEN ORB. Now, though Coorhagen is a town, I consider it to be a dungeon. You will soon see why. Head north some more and you will come to another VISTA MARKER. Head north beyond that. Once you reach the main town, there is a spot where you can squeeze between the corners of 2 buildings, heading north- west. Once on the other side, enter the building there and get the HEART OF DARKNESS. Now go back outside and enter the building to the right of it. Inside you will find, 3 victims. From there return to the main road, and enter the building at the top with the body pile beside the doorway. ========================================================================== Shrine of Repel ========================================================================== That building with the body pile outside is the entrance to the Repel Shrine. Save your game and then enter the door at the left to begin the dungeon. Area 1: Dodge the arrows and head through the exit at the top. Area 2: Follow along the hallway and get the BLUE ORB and HEART OF DARKNESS, and then make your way to the exit of the area. Area 3: Get the ENERGY BANK and then make your way down into the next room. In the bottom room, there is a BLOOD VIAL and a switch that you need to flip to open the next area. Area 4: After going back through the save room and taking the door on the right, you will now be in this area. While going through here make sure to get the PURPLE ORB, FLAY, and IMPLODE. Now go to the exit. Area 5: While making your way through here you will get a IMPLODE, FONT OF PUTRESCENCE, 2 RUNE TRIANGLES, BLUE ORB, and REPELL SPELL. After getting these, go to the exit below where the spell was. Area 6: Get the BLUE ORB in the first room. In the second room flip the wall switch and head down to the exit. Now go outside and back into Coorhagen. ========================================================================== Coorhagen part 2 ========================================================================== Now that you are outside again, head north and enter the first building you can. Inside here you can get 2 IMPLODES and 2 FONT OF PUTRESCENCE. Now head back outside. Head north some more and enter the next building. Get the FLAY inside and then head back outside and north some more. Enter the last building that you can, and inside go to the back of the room and enter the Bone Armor Dungeon. ========================================================================== Bone Armor Dungeon ========================================================================== Area 1: Head into the room to the left and save. Then head back to the main hall and go into the room with the picture on the floor. Now enter the room to the left and flip the switch at the back, then make your way to the exit. Area 2: In the first room, flip the switch at the upper right. Go through the second room and into the third room. In the third room, kill the guy in purple to open the door to the next area. Also get the BLOOD REFILL, and IMPLODE. Area 3: Go through the area until you get to where you reach an intersection. Go down and flip the switch and get the 2 HEART OF DARKNESS, then go to the top and exit the area. Area 4: Make your way through the first room getting the 2 BLOOD REFILLS along the way. In the second room, kill the 2 guys in green to open the exit. Area 5: In the next area, get the RUNE TRIANGLE and the BONE ARMOR, then head for the exit. Area 6: Get the 2 BLOOD REFILS while on the way to the exit at the bottom. Area 7: Get the BLOOD VIAL and in the last room kill the guy in purple to open the exit. Area 8: In the first room, kill the baddies to open the next room, and get the BLOOD REFILL. In the second room, kill the baddies and get the BLOOD REFILL. In the third room, get the RUNE TRIANGLE, then head for the exit, and outside. ========================================================================== Coorhagen part 3 ========================================================================== Outside of the Bone Armor Dungeon, head to the northernmost building that you can, the smithy. Inside get the 2 FONT OF PUTRESCENCE then leave. Go back to the building that you passed on the way to the smithy with the body pile in front of it and enter. Get the BLUE ORB, IMPLODE, and ANTI- TOXIN. Then go downstairs. Flip the switch by the uppermost door in the main chamber. Now go to the bottom left chamber and bust the black chest to get 2 FLAYS. After that pull the chain on the wall and back to the main chamber. Now go to the upper right and get 2 HEART OF DARKNESS and 3 PENTALICH OF TAROT and then pull the chain. Back into the main chamber. Head to the upper left room and get the 5 FLAYS. Now head down to the bottom right and get the 2 FLAYS and 3 HEART OF DARKNESS, and then head right. Get the GREEN ORB, and then return to the main basement chamber. Flip the switch at the top again to open the top door. Step onto the TELEPORTER to get SECRET #19. ========================================================================== Inspire Hate Dungeon ========================================================================== Area 1: Head up into the picture room and then go left into the save room. After saving go back to the main hall and head up. Pull the chain and exit the area. Area 2: Head straight through the first room and into the large room. Go up the stairs and get the INSPIRE HATE SPELL and PURPLE ORB. Then, flip the switch to the right and exit to the left. Area 3: Get the PURPLE ORB, and BLOOD REFILL and then flip the switch. After that, head for the exit. Area 4: Get the BLOOD REFILL and RUNE TRIANGLE, then head for the exit. Area 5: Head across to the upper right and get the 2 FLAYS, then pull the chain in the center. After that head down, flip the switch, then exit. Area 6: Get the 2 PURPLE ORBS, and BLOOD REFILL while making your way to the exit. Area 7: Get the BLOOD VIAL, and flip the switch, then head for the exit. Area 8: Kill all the baddies, get the RUNE TRIANGLE and then head for the exit. You are now back in area 1. Head for the save point and then the TELEPORTER. ========================================================================== Coorhagen part 4 ========================================================================== You are in the same basement you were in only moments ago. Go to the bottom right and follow this tunnel to the exit. Enter the last house in this town and go into the basement. There you will get 4 FONT OF PUTRESCENCE and 4 ANTI-TOXIN. After that go outside and leave the town to the north. ========================================================================== Snowy Mountain ========================================================================== I really don't know what to call this place so I call it Mountain. You will see 2 VISTA MARKERS as you enter this area. One is for Termogent Forest, and the other is for Coorhagen. After you see these, head to the top of the mountain and activate the BAT BEACON. You will also see another VISTA MARKER. This one is for Malek's Bastion. Guess where you're going next? Yep. Malek's Bastion... ========================================================================== Malek's Bastion ========================================================================== There is nothing that you can get on the outside before starting the dungeon, so just go inside to the first area. Area 1: As soon as you enter, you will see a HEART OF DARKNESS covering a VISTA MARKER. Might as well find out something. After doing that, see the 2 green outlined teleporter pads? Go above the right one and walk above the the grill there and you will find a hidden switch that opens a hidden door to the upper right from where you are. That is SECRET #20. Go through the door that you just opened. Area 2: Walk along the corridor, and you will step on a switch in the room with the pink light. Continue walking up and you will find a HEART OF DARKNESS on the way to the exit of the area. Area 3: Make your way to the upper left. Along the way you will find a BLUE ORB. You also do not want to use any TELEPORTERS in the dungeon for now. Area 4: Go to the stairs on the other side of the room and go up them to the next area. Area 5: Go across the room and up the stairs. Area 6: Do not step on the TELEPORTER in the bottom right of the room (for now)! Go up to the top and flip the middle 2 switches to open a door to the upper left. Go inside and flip the switch in there to get SECRET #21. There are no more ghost-guards that want to kill you. Now go back down and get onto the TELEPORTER. Area 3: The TELEPORTER takes you to area 3. Go directly down from the TELEPORTER to get to area 7. Area 7: You are outside now. There are many items here to collect. There are 2 HEART OF DARKNESS, 2 RUNE TRIANGLES, a GREEN ORB, and 2 VISTA MARKERS. Now enter the next area by heading up through the door in the center. Area 8: From the first room, enter either room left or right, it doesn't matter. In each room, there is a switch on the wall that can be hit. After hitting it, go to the opposite room and through the now open door there and into the top room. Once in the top room, make your way to the exit. Area 9: Make your way down through the first 2 rooms, and when you get to the bottom room, get the PENTALICH OF TAROT and flip the switch. Now go to the last room in the area, and to the exit. Area 10: Go to the upper left corner of the room that you appear in. There, you will get a HEART OF DARKNESS and flip a switch. Now head to the door at the middle top of the room and enter the room above. In there you will find a PENTALICH OF TAROT and a BLOOD REFILL. Also make sure to flip the switch. Now go down to the bottom room of the area, and up the stairs to the exit. Area 11: While avoiding the traps, make your way to the stairs on the right side and to the exit. Area 12: Make your way around to the stairs. Area 13: Same as above. Area 14: Wash, rinse, repeat... Area 15: Step onto the TELEPORTER on the right side to go to the save room. Step onto the left TELEPORTER to go to an item room. You will get a GREEN ORB, 2 HEART OF DARKNESS, and a BLOOD VIAL. Now return to the main chamber and go through the door at the top. Boss Battle: Malek the Damned Get your sword out and you have to knock him down 3 times and then head to the bottom right corner. It makes the battle much easier if you use REPEL. In the bottom right corner get onto the TELEPORTER. In this next room, you get your axes. After getting them, get onto the TELEPORTER below. Outside step onto the VISTA MARKER, then activate the BAT BEACON. Once done with that, fly to the Pillars of Nosgoth. ========================================================================== Pillars of Nosgoth ========================================================================== Aerial (is that how you spell her name?) tells you to go east of Malek's Bastion and find the Oracle. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Part 4: The Oracle ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ========================================================================== Malek's Bastion ========================================================================== Return to the BAT BEACON outside of Malek's Bastion and use the axes to cut down the trees blocking your way to the east. ========================================================================== Shrine of Stun ========================================================================== Look at the map and you need to cross those ice patches across the water to the north and enter the cave there. That is the Shrine of Stun. Along the way there you will pass a couple of VISTA MARKERS pointing to Termogent Forest, the Oracle's caves, and another that is a voice over. Inside the cave, save and then enter the fist area of the dungeon. Area 1: Get the HEART OF DARKNESS and then move to the next area. Area 2: Get the 3 FLAYS, 2 FONT OF PUTRESCENCE, and BLUE ORB. Then flip the switches there and head for the exit. Area 3: Get the STUN SPELL, kill the baddie, and then head for the exit. Area 4: Head to the upper right for the exit. Area 5: Kill all the baddies, get the RUNE TRIANGLE, and head for the exit. Area 6: Get the 2 PURPLE ORBS, and BLOOD VIAL. Then head for the TELEPORTER for the exit. Now save again and then go back outdoors. ========================================================================== Bandit Camp ========================================================================== From the Shrine of Stun, head east and go through the Bandit Camp to enter the cave at the end. ========================================================================== Blood Fountain of Snow ========================================================================== Inside the caves, take the first right, and exit going outside. Once outside, enter the next cave and head straight up. Do not take the path leading off to the left. Then once again, you will be outside walk around and enter the cave above you. Inside you will find the Blood Fountain of Snow. It will make you immune to snow. Now go back outside, and into the previous cave. ========================================================================== Oracle Caves ========================================================================== NOTE: This area could be very confusing, but bear with me here. Go back to where you very first entered the caves from the Bandit Camp. Instead of heading right this time (towards the Blood Fountain), head left. Follow the cave until you get outside. Enter the very next cave to the east. Inside you will get a GREEN ORB and follow it to the outside at the other end. Once you are again outside, enter the cave to the west. Inside here, move along until you come to the save point. Once you are finished saving, head to the right a little and find the exit by going down a little bit. Outside, head east and enter the next cave. Area 1: Go inside this cave and get the BLOOD REFILL and then leave the way you came in. Inside the cave, you need the Mace to break the ice pillars blocking your path. Once you break them, you will receive a BLOOD REFILL and FONT OF PUTRESCENCE. Moving on up through the cave, you can go either left or right. We'll go left because I feel like it. Smash the ice pillar that you come to and you will get a BLOOD REFILL. Now head up. There are some spikes that you need to get across. You will also get a FLAY in this area. Now continue heading to the right. Had you gone right, you would have gotten a BLOOD REFILL and a BLUE ORB. Where the 2 paths come together there is another ice pillar that you get a BLOOD REFILL out of. Now head up and into the next area. Area 2: Head through the tunnel until you come to a ice pillar. Break it to get a BLOOD VIAL and BLOOD REFILL. Now move on. You will eventually come to where there is a BLUE ORB and 2 BLOOD REFILLS. Near the end of that tunnel you will see what looks like a blue gem in the wall, press it to open the door below you. You are now back at the beginning of this area. Enter the door to the right. Area 3: Walking through you will find a BLOOD REFILL and a BLUE ORB. You will also pass a door and find 2 more BLOOD REFILLS, and a switch. Go to the doorway at the end of this tunnel and walk through to be at the front of this area. Now walk along and go through the door that you passed earlier. In this newly opened area, you will find a BLOOD REFILL, FLAY, and a BLUE ORB. Also near the end, beside a arrow spitting skull, there is a switch. Press it to open the door at the end. Area 1: You are back in area 1. Except now you can get into that area you could not get into before. Go to the top and you will find the door up there now open. Go into it. Along the way to the end you will find 2 BLOOD REFILLS, a FLAY, and a PURPLE ORB. Now go to the exit. Area 4: One word, huge... In the first room, you will find a BLOOD REFILL and a switch. This opens the door to the south. Enter the new room. If you look at the map, you will be taking the center hall out of the lower section all the way around to the right and up then to the left and back to the first room. Along the way you will find 4 BLOOD REFILLS a BLUE ORB, an IMPLODE, RUNE TRIANGLE, FLAY, and a switch. This will take you to the eastern door of the first room. Now go to the lower eastern door and you will find a FLAY, and a BLOOD REFILL. Walk through this tunnel and cross the other one. You will now be in the westernmost section of the area. Now to follow this to the exit. Along the way you will get a RUNE TRIANGLE, BLUE ORB, and a BLOOD REFILL, 2 FLAYS, and a switch. Area 5: You will find a save point. Now head up to the next area. Area 6: There are 6 VISTA MARKERS in here. Listen to them all. Then head up and into the next room where you speak to the Oracle. After speaking to him, go back into the VISTA MARKER room and the door to the right is now open. On the other side you can get the INCAPACITATE SPELL. Now head down and head outside. Now that you are done with that dungeon, head into the last cave. Near the end of the cave you will find a save point. So save and then exit these caves. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Part 5: Vorador ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ========================================================================== House of Mist ========================================================================== From where you leave the Oracle's Caves head south. You will find a tree that you can chop down with the axes to get a PENTALICH OF TAROT. Now continue heading south. You will come to a VISTA MARKER that points to Termogent Forest. Go down the path to the east here and activate the BAT BEACON. Now head back out to the main road and there are 2 more VISTA MARKERS, one for Coorhagen, and one for Uschtenhiem. Now walk west of there and chop down the tree to gain entrance to the House of Mist. Get the MIST FORM, and go through the door to the left. Save and then go back to the main area of the house. Walk through the house until you come to where there are 2 ENERGY BANKS. Then continue walking up through the house. You will soon come to where there is a BLOOD VIAL and RUNE TRIANGLE. After you see the BLOOD VIAL and RUNE TRIANGLE, go to the previous room. You will see a crack in the wall, use Mist to go through the crack. Now you can get to the 2 items. There are also 2 HEART OF DARKNESS in that room. So head up and into the next room. Step on the switch and move up and get on the TELEPORTER then exit the House of Mist. NOTE: Make sure that you have everything that you want out of this place. Once you are on the teleporter, you can't get back in. Or at least I haven't learned how to do so yet. ========================================================================== Nachtholm ========================================================================== Return to Nachtolm and south of the city, cross the water using Mist and enter the Moon Cave there, you will also need the Mace. This is SECRET #22 and you will go to a Stonehenge type area. Here are the items: 4 PURPLE ORBS, 5 BLOOD REFILLS, 3 IMPLODES, 7 HEART OF DARKNESS, 3 FLAYS, and a RED ORB. After getting all this stuff, step on the TELEPORTER and leave. ========================================================================== Gypsy Camp (revisited) ========================================================================== Just south of the Gypsy Camp, if you look at the map, the road branches off to the west. Go to that branch and use the Mace to break open the area. You get 3 HEART OF DARKNESS, and a FLAY. Now turn into Mist and follow the river to the west. At the end you will find a RUNE TRIANGLE, and 2 PENTALICH OF TAROT. This is SECRET #23. ========================================================================== Vasserbunde ========================================================================== When heading from Vasserbunde to Nupraptor's Retreat, there is an opening to the west in the rock wall where you need to smash a stone pillar with the Mace. This is SECRET #24 and you get 2 FONT OF PUTRESCENCE, HEART OF DARKNESS, and a FLAY. ========================================================================== Cave ========================================================================== From the area where you go to the Bandit's Camp, and the Stun Shrine, use Mist to go to the cave to the west of the Stun Shrine. Area 1: Just walk through to the end. Area 2: There is a switch near the end that you need to press to open the exit. Area 3: Walk through the spikes at the beginning and you will come across a FONT OF PUTRESCENCE. You will also find a RUNE TRIANGLE and a BLOOD VIAL in this area. Now exit the cave. ========================================================================== Blood Fountain of Strength (2) ========================================================================== Cross the water and go to the adjacent road. Watch out for the plant things that spit poison clouds at you. On the west side of the road near where you come across is a tree that you can cut down to get a FLAY. Now keep moving south. Keep going until you see on the map, 2 caves and some buildings. Head to the western cave first. Enter this cave and drink from the Blood Fountain to increase your strength. You will also find a FONT OF PUTRESCENCE just south of this cave. NOTE: If you explore this area of the map, you will find several FONT OF PUTRESCENCE. ========================================================================== Spirit Forge of Energy Bank ========================================================================== Head due south from the Blood Fountain and jump up the ledge in the southwest corner, and then turn into Mist and go through the crack at the end. This is SECRET #25. ========================================================================== Spirit Forge of Anti-Toxin ========================================================================== Head to the cave that is northeast from the Blood Fountain. This is the Spirit Forge of Anti-Toxin. After doing your thing, go back outside. This is SECRET #26. ========================================================================== Shrine of Blood Gout ========================================================================== Enter the second building on the south side of the screen. Area 1: Head right into the save room first. After saving, head back to the main hall and head north. In the room with the picture on the floor, pull the chain beside the door to open the door. Follow the hall until you reach the next area. Area 2: Walk forward and get the BLOOD GOUT SPELL. Kill everyone in here and then head south into the next area. Area 3: Walking through the third area you will find a 2 ANTI-TOXINS and an ORANGE ORB. You will find the area exit to the right bottom. Area 4: Begin by heading east then north along the corridor. Along the way you will find a GREEN ORB. Soon you will find an ENERGY BANK, 2 ANTI- TOXINS, and an ORANGE ORB, a BLOOD VIAL, and FLAY. Now head up into the next room. In the second room you will get a RUNE TRIANGLE. You must kill all the enemies before moving on. In the third room, you will get a GREEN ORB and a FLAY. Now head up the ramp to the TELEPORTER and leave this area. You are now back at the beginning, so save then leave. ========================================================================== Mind Control Shrine ========================================================================== Head slightly northeast of the Blood Gout Shrine and you will enter the Mind Control Shrine. Area 1: Head left and save, then head through the door in the picture room. Area 2: Head north and pick up the GREEN ORB, and then head as far north and up as you can to get the MIND CONTROL SPELL. Take the guy to the east of where the spell was, make him flip the switch up there with him. Take the guys on the west, make them go into the room behind them and get the GREEN ORB, and then flip the switch, Make sure to kill 2 of them with magic. Then make them walk back outside and go up the stairs to get the RUNE TRIANGLE. That is SECRET #27. Now for the guys on the east. Make the guys there go into the room behind them and get the BLOOD REFILL and flip the switch. Then make them go up the stairs up there and get the BLOOD VIAL, again, kill 2 of them with magic. This is SECRET #28. Now you can head north into the next area. Area 3: In the first room, make the baddies flip the switch behind them. Then head up the stairs to the next room. Go to the guy at the bottom and make him get the ORANGE ORB and flip the switch. Now for the guy to the east, make him go and get the HEART OF DARKNESS. This is SECRET #29. Now you can go back to area 2. Save if you want. Area 2: From where the lone guy in the northeast of this area hit the switch, go through the door in the north most wall. Walk through the door and fire an ENERGY BOLT straight up to the top of the screen, you will hear it hit a switch. This is SECRET #30. From this room, take one of the guys on the left and make him walk up the hall avoiding the spikes and arrows. At the top, you will see a switch beside one of those arrow spitting skulls, flip the switch and enter the TELEPORTER. This is the backdoor to the Energy Bolt Spirit Forge. It is also SECRET #31! Now, still in that same room, possess one of the guys on the right side and make him walk up his path on that side and flip the switch there. This will lower a bridge so that you can get to the TELEPORTER in the main part of the room. This is SECRET #32, also get the GREEN ORB on your way to the TELEPORTER. This is the backdoor to the Anti-Toxin Spirit Forge. ========================================================================== Flame Sword Dungeon ========================================================================== From the Mind Control Shrine, head slightly northeast and you will find the Flame Sword Dungeon. After you save, enter the open door in the main room to enter the first area of the dungeon. Area 1: Walk through to the next area. There are a couple of victims though... Area 2: Head straight down through the door to the south. Area 3: Go around to the different red lit areas and step onto the symbols. You will also find a RUNE TRIANGLE and a BLOOD VIAL. Walk down the stairs that appear and get the FLAME SWORD. Now you can go back into area 2. Area 2: Go through the east tunnel that you couldn't go through before. Walk through to the end. Area 4: Go into the bottom room and hit the switch, and then hit the door at the bottom with the Flame Sword. Go through and you are back at the entrance. Save then leave. ========================================================================== Lost City ========================================================================== From the Mist House, head south until you see a VISTA MARKER that shows you Vorador's Mansion. Turn into Mist and head west on the water until you come to a Stonehenge type island with a TELEPORTER on it. Step on this and you will be sent to the Lost City. The main reason for coming here is there are a ton of secrets and items. The gate for this place only opens during a full moon. Inside the building that you appear in you can get 2 ENERGY BANKS, 2 HEART OF DARKNESS, and 2 SLOW TIME. The first thing you want to do when the gate opens is enter the building directly to the southeast (first one that you can enter.) Building 1: Take the big ice walkway around to the northeast corner. You will see a symbol on the wall, press it for SECRET #33. Now head to the northwest corner and do the same. That is SECRET #34. Walk down the west side of the room and enter the newly opened center area. In this area you will get 6 PENTALICH OF TAROT, 6 ENERGY BANKS, 6 FLAYS, a BLOOD REFILL, and a RED ORB. You will notice a snake statue in the center of the area, go up and press it for SECRET #35. The rest of the city is now open to you. Feel free to go back outside now. Please return to where you entered this area originally from the TELEPORTER. If I need you to come back here again, I will refer to it as "the starting gate" (ingenious huh?). From the starting gate, go directly south. Go through the arch at the bottom and enter the building directly east of the arch. Building 2: There are those fireball spitting skulls in here. Head up and into the first intersection, head east and hit the statue at the end. This is SECRET #36. Now, make your way to the furthest northeast and northwest corners and hit the switches there to get SECRETS #37 & #38. Now enter the door that you just opened in the north wall. In this top room you get 8 FLAYS, HEART OF DARKNESS, IMPLODE, RED ORB, and BLOOD REFILL. Now leave this building. Enter the building directly north of the last one. Building 3: Just inside the entrance and to the left, you will see a switch in the floor, press it to get SECRET #39. Now head east and use MIND CONTROL on the guard there and head to the switch at the north end of the building. That is SECRET #40 and along the way you will get a BLOOD REFILL. Now head back south with the guard and enter the door to the TELEPORTER room. Inside you will find 2 IMPLODES and a RED ORB. Step into the TELEPORTER, and just north of it is another switch. That's SECRET #40. You will find SECRETS #41, #42, #43, #44, #45, #46, & #47 in the same manner. They are all switches to the north of #40. At the end near another TELEPORTER you will get 2 PENTALICH OF TAROT and 2 SLOW TIMES. Enter the TELEPORTER and you will be outside on the building to the southwest, and there you get 2 PENTILACH OF TAROT. Now leave the guard, and exit the building. Outside again, head to the next building to the east and enter it. Building 4: Use MIND CONTROL on the baddie to the right, and make him go up and hit the switch. This is SECRET #48. After that, make him go and get onto the TELEPORTER and he will wind up on top of a roof to the southeast. There you will get 6 HEART OF DARKNESS. Do the same with the baddie to the left and you will get SECRET #49. After you have him step onto the switch, a door up above you will open. You can make him get onto the TELEPORTER if you want, I don't know what's up there because every time I take him up there, I get killed by an enemy as soon as I appear. However, in the now open north room, go either left or right and then go up, then either left or right again into the niche on either side. There, on both sides you will find a switch. This is SECRETS #50 and #51. Now head to the top of the room and go behind the TELEPORTER. Here is another switch and it is SECRET #52. Now head through the TELEPORTER. This puts you back into the first room of the building, feel free to leave the building. Head to the next building to the east. Building 5: In the first part of the building you will only find a RED ORB, and some very strong enemies. But in the second area you will get 16 FONT OF PUTRESCENCE. That makes this place worth the trouble! Now leave. Now go to the building to the southwest that looks like an open square with a + in the middle of it. Get in the center and you will be sent to the one to the north that you can't reach. On the structure directly east of that square, you will get a HEART OF DARKNESS and a RED ORB. Now head to the southeastern most building and climb it to get a RED ORB and a PENTALICH OF TAROT. Now go to the final building, the one in the northeast corner. Building 6: Walk into the building and go through the northwestern most door. Inside you will find 24 FLAYS and a switch. The switch is SECRET #53. Now go to the southwestern most door and inside are 24 SLOW TIMES and a switch. This is SECRET #54. Next, northeastern most door, 24 ENERGY BANKS and a switch, SECRET #55. Next, southwestern most door, 24 FONT OF PUTRESCENCE and a switch, SECRET #56. Next, move up to the 3rd door on the west side and enter. 24 PENTALICH OF TAROT and a switch, SECRET #57. Next, 2nd door on the east side. 24 ANTI-TOXIN and a switch, SECRET #58. Next, 3rd door on the east side. 24 HEART OF DARKNESS and a switch, SECRET #59. Next, 2nd door on west side, 24 IMPLODES, and a switch, SECRET #60. Now head to the area in the building with the TELEPORTER. There are 9 IMPLODES and 9 FLAYS. You are done with the Lost City. Leave. ========================================================================== Vorador's Mansion ========================================================================== From where the 3 small dungeons are (Flame Sword, etc.), head east. At the next screen, follow the path to Vorador's Mansion and on the way you will find 2 VISTA MARKERS. When you come to the mansion, enter it. Area 1: Go into the room to the right and save. Then proceed to the next area. You will also find a VISTA MARKER in this area. Area 2: In the first room there is a VISTA MARKER and a closed door to the left. Head on to the room to the right. In here you will find a VISTA MARKER and a BLUE ORB. Take control of the Gypsy just across the spikes and make him flip the switch. Now abandon him and go through the now open door to the left. This is SECRET #61. Area 3: Head south into the area below secret #61. Inside this room you can get 3 FLAYS, 5 IMPLODES and a FONT OF PUTRESCENCE. After doing this turn into mist form and go through the closed door to the east. Here get the RUNE TRIANGLE and VISTA MARKER. This is also SECRET #62. Now go back to area 2. Area 2: Walk back through the area until you reach the room with a ton of spikes. Turn into mist form and walk across them. When you get to the other side, look to the left side of the left most pillar and push on the curtain. This is SECRET #63. Now go back across the spikes and enter the secret area that you just opened. Area 4: In this area you will get 2 PURPLE ORBS, 3 PENTALICH OF TAROT, and 3 HEART OF DARKNESS. After getting the items, go back to area 2. Area 2: Okay, take a look at the map for area 2. See that checker- board-floored room at the end of it? Go to the door where you enter that room, but don't enter it. Press on the curtains to the left of the doorway and you will unlock SECRET #64. Now head to the southeast part of THIS room. Enter the new door and go to the secret area. Area 5: Why in the world am I calling this an area? I have no idea... Anyway, grab the ORANGE ORB and 12 FLAYS then leave. Back to area 2. Area 2: Go to the checker room. Need blood? We got it! Check the VISTA MARKER and then go to area 6. Area 6: Get the BLUE ORB and CHAOS ARMOR. Now just above the Chaos Armor go up and hit the curtains. This is SECRET #65. Now take control of the Gypsy and make him head through the door to the north. Area 7: Here you get an ORANGE ORB, BLOOD VIAL, ANTI-TOXIN, 4 FLAYS, and 2 ENERGY BANKS. Now go back to area 6. Area 6: Use the Gypsy to get onto the TELEPORTER. Once on the other side flip the switch. Now go east to area 8. Area 8: Get the ORANGE ORB and BLOOD VIAL, then make your way to the next area. Also make sure to kill the baddies. Area 9: Walk through the room to the exit at the west side. Take the south exit due to the fact that the north is closed. Area 10: Take control of the woman to the west. Make her go into the next room and flip the switch. Now, head south and get the RUNE TRIANGLE in the next room and then move to the area exit after that. Area 11: Step forward and get the BLOOD SHOWER SPELL! Now test it out. Once everyone is dead, head north to the next area. Area 12: After all this walking you must be very thirsty. Drink all the victims to death. After that, leave. Area 13: Go to the north wall and count the third panel from the right. Press this switch here to get SECRET #66. Now head into the room to the west. Area 14: In this room you get 4 HEART OF DARKNESS, 2 ENERGY BANKS, and a RED ORB. There is also a secret switch on the north wall in here too. Flip it to get SECRET #67. Now head back to area 13. Area 13: The door to the north is now open. Go that way. Area 15: In here there are several items and spikes. I did not need the items so I did not go for them. Area 13: Now go through the door to the east. Area 16: Get the BLUE ORB and the VISTA MARKER. Now to the right of the VISTA MARKER on the north wall you will find a hidden switch. Flip the switch to get SECRET #68. Now take control of the baddie to the south. Make him walk all the way south and to the exit. Area 17: In here there is a hidden switch to the left of the doorway. Also kill the baddie in here to get the goodies at the bottom. 2 PENTILACH OF TAROT, ENERGY BANK, 2 HEART OF DARKNESS, and a RED ORB. That switch is SECRET #69 by the way. Now go back up to area 16 again. Area 16: Still controlling the Gypsy, this time take the west path that you cannot reach with Kain. You will find a VISTA MARKER and a switch at the end that has a green light around it. After that you are done with the Gypsy. As Kain again, go through the door to the north to area 18. Area 18: Walk around this room and get several FLAY, PENTALICH OF TAROT, HEART OF DARKNESS, and a BLUE ORB. Now go back to area 16. Area 16: Go through the door to the east and to the exit. Area 19: Save and then move to the next area. Area 20: Walk into the room to meet Vorador. After meeting him, in the dining room head to the northwest corner and turn into mist and go through the crack in the wall and into the room to the north. This is SECRET #70. Pick up VORADOR'S RING along the way to that crack. Area 21: In this room you will get some FLAYS, SLOW TIME, and a GREEN ORB. Now back to area 20. Area 20: Now go through the door to the east. From there make your way to the pillar with the green glow. Press the hidden switch there to get SECRET #71. Then use mist form to go into the room to the north and to area 22. Area 22: Get the IMPLODES and FLAYS. You can also pick up a GREEN ORB. Now back to area 20. Area 20: Exit via the door to your direct south. Area 23: Follow this area around to the southeast and to the TELEPORTER there. The teleporter will take you to a save room. Or if you wish to remain here, then when you get into this area, go through the doorway to the south near the entrance. There you will find a save point. And then through that door you will be brought back into the dungeon before the dining room. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Part 6: Dark Eden ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ========================================================================== Uschtenhiem ========================================================================== As soon as you emerge from Vorador's Mansion head west and activate the BAT BEACON. To the east of the cave you emerged from you will find 2 VISTA MARKERS. Making your way into Uschtenhiem (that is one messed up name) you will come to where you can go either east and into town or west and up a path a bit. Go west and push the boulders out of the way and you will get an IMPLODE. This is SECRET #72. Now continue along the path from the IMPLODE. You will soon come to where there are some scarecrows and a place where you can jump onto a higher plane and get 2 PENTALICH OF TAROT. If you get them you get SECRETS #73 and #74. If you continue north along this path you will get another IMPLODE and a PENTALICH OF TAROT. After that go into the town itself. In the center of town you will find a VISTA MARKER. After that go and enter the house to the east of the VISTA MARKER and you will find an IMPLODE, ANTI-TOXIN, and FLAY. Then go back outside. In the house directly north from there you will find an ANTI-TOXIN inside. You will also notice that the east door is shut. Go back to the cemetery at the beginning of the game. Now enter the first crypt and go through until you come to where there are 3 switches on the north wall. You pressed in the first 2 earlier, now press in the last one and return to Uschtenhiem. Enter that house again in the center of town and the east door should now be open. Go into the east room and step onto the TELEPORTER. This will take you to the Heart of Darkness Spirit Forge. It is also SECRET #75. When you start to walk through the Spirit Forge, you will get SECRET #76. Enter the tavern (big building) and inside you will get 2 ANTI-TOXIN, ENERGY BANK, and GREEN ORB. Enter the north middle house and you will get 2 IMPLODES, ORANGE ORB, 2 ANTI-TOXIN, and a FLAY. Enter the northwest house in town and inside you will get a PURPLE ORB, FLAY, ANTI-TOXIN, IMPLODE, and GREEN ORB. Now go outside and head north out of town. ========================================================================== Blood Fountain of Magic (2) ========================================================================== Heading north along the road, you will come to an area with 2 caves. Also along the road here you will find 2 VISTA MARKERS. Go to the cave on the right and cut down the tree in front of it and go inside. This is the Blood Fountain of Magic (2). After drinking the blood, leave the cave. ========================================================================== Dark Eden ========================================================================== From the Blood Fountain, head east and you will come to another cave. Enter this cave and you will find several items and in the very back left corner you will find a switch. Flip this for SECRET #77. Just south of the cave you will find a GREEN ORB and a BLOOD REFILL. Now continue to follow the road. After heading south and when you turn east again, you will come to an area where there are 2 trees blocking a BLOOD REFILL. I will let you decide whether or not you want it. But now moving on, you will coon come to a VISTA MARKER and also the road will split to the north and southeast. You can't go to the southeast yet because you are not strong enough to move the boulder. So you have to head north. You will soon come to yet another VISTA MARKER. Also to the left of that are a couple of trees that you can cut down to get a FLAY, PENTALICH OF TAROT, and YELLOW ORB. Now continue with the journey. Soon you will come to the remains of a burned out town and a VISTA MARKER. Head to the southeast corner where you can get 4 FLAYS. In this burned-out town you will find several more items. Now you have to take the path across the lava to the north. When crossing the lava you will find several switches that will raise bridges across the lava and you will also find many items in this area. Now when you get to the north end of this area and into the next area you will see Dark Eden on the map. There is a cave that you will pass on the right that you can't complete yet. So we'll do that after Dark Eden. Anyway after exploring the area surrounding the dungeon, enter the dungeon. Area 1: As soon as you enter go through the door to the right. In this room, save. Now go back into the entrance room and head to the top. You will see that there are doorways going east, west, and north. You can only go east for now. There is also a VISTA MARKER up here. Go through the door to the east. Area 2: As you enter this area you will see a ANTI-TOXIN and a ENERGY BANK. Now continue moving along and you will come to a switch and another ANTI-TOXIN. Now go through the door you just opened and into the next room. After crossing the rows of spikes you can get a BLOOD VIAL to the left. Then go to the next room. In this room there are several pillars, go to the topmost pillar and hit it to flip open the door to the east. In the last room to the area, you will find a VISTA MARKER and 2 ANTI-TOXINS. At the bottom of the room flip the switch and get onto the TELEPORTER. Area 1: Now go through the door to the west. You can go down to the bottom west door and save again if you wish. Area 3: In this area, if you look at the map, you just have to make your way to the TELEPORTER at the end. Still looking at the map, see those blue/gray areas that are lit up? Those are switches that you have to flip. There is also a switch beside the TELEPORTER. Here's the items along the way: ENERGY BANK, BLOOD VIAL, and 5 ANTI-TOXINS. At the end get onto the TELEPORTER. Area 1: Go through the door to the north and into the room above. Now both of those doors at the top there do not go to the top room of the area. They each go to separate areas. So I am going through the door to the left. Area 4: Walk through until the hall splits. Take the west branch and go to the end. Area 1: Guess what, you're in the top room flip the switch and go back into the door you came out of. Or if you want you can explore the other area that you did not go into a moment ago. You will find 1 ANTI-TOXIN in this top room and 3 ANTI-TOXINS in the right path of area 4. Now go back down to the middle room of area 1 and enter the center door between the 2 branches. Area 5: In the first room, go to the far right and flip the switch. There is also an ANTI-TOXIN. Now go back and enter the door you just opened. In room 2, there is a switch on the far left with another ANTI-TOXIN. In room 3, go to the bottom and flip the switch and then go through the door at the top. Area 6: You will see 2 pictures on the floor. One leads to the FLESH ARMOR and the other leads to SPIRIT DEATH. Once you finish either, you will come back to this room, and when you finish both you can exit via the door in the center top. Area 7: Let's go for the Flesh Armor first. It's the door to the left. Walk through the halls and get the FLESH ARMOR, 2 ANTI-TOXINS, and a RUNE TRIANGLE. After all that step onto the TELEPORTER and go back to the picture room of area 6. Now for the SPIRIT DEATH. Walk through the halls and get the SPIRIT DEATH, and a RUNE TRIANGLE. Then get onto the TELEPORTER and go back to area 6. Once back in area 6 go through the door to the top. Area 8: Save then go up and into area 9. Area 9: Here you meet Bain and Dejoule. They call Malek to protect them, so why not call Vorador? Boss Battle: Bain and Dejoule You have to take out Bain first. He walks around turning the land into water. When he turns your land into water, turn into Mist. Hit him with your Flame Sword when you can. Once Bain is dead, you have to take out Dejoule. This battle can't be any simpler. Stand on one side of the water and protect yourself with Barrier and then throw projectiles at her. Like I said, it's easy to kill her. Once each dies you can get an item from each of them. You will get BAIN'S HEADDRESS and DEJOULE'S CLOAK. Then go and get onto the TELEPORTER. Back inside collect MAKEK'S HELMET and then leave. Now it is not clear if Malek is dead nor is Vorador. That is for the future to decide... Anyway go back to the Pillars of Nosgoth. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Part 7: Azimuth ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ========================================================================== Pillars of Nosgoth ========================================================================== You place the 3 artifacts that you have before the pillars and the pillars are healed. Now Aerial gives you another quest. You must find Azimuth. Why does she speak in riddles? Sheesh... ========================================================================== Dark Eden ========================================================================== Return to Dark Eden and enter the cave that you could not go through earlier. ========================================================================== Lightening Cave ========================================================================== Go through the cave and save. When you emerge you will be in an area with another cave to your west. Inside that cave you will find several enemies and items. After getting what you want, go back outside. Smash the stone pillars around the entrance to that cave to get some items as well. Work your way down to where the BAT BEACON is. Just above it is a gate that only opens during a full moon. So just hang around, it's worth it. When you get a full moon, go through the gate and enter the Lightening Cave. By entering this cave you get SECRET #78. Area 1: Jump up onto the platform to the north of the entrance. Flip the switch there and then continue to the west and flip the switch in the far corner. Now the path to the north in this section is open so go north and get onto the TELEPORTER and flip the switch up there as well. From where you emerge, you can go south and into another room. There will be a switch on the right, and then head down again into another section. Follow this path until the path branches off to the north and south. Along the way you will find a GREEN ORB and a BLOOD REFILL. Take the north branch. Now follow this path until it again branches north and south. You will find a BLOOD VIAL along the way. Take the south branch and flip the switch then head north. In this "room" go southwest and flip the switch. Just west of the gate for that spot you will find a small spot where you can get a RUNE TRIANGLE, FLAY, and BLOOD REFILL. Then head north through the gate to another platform up. Up here the path branches east and west. Go west and flip the switch and then head east to the exit of the area. Area 2: This area is much the same as the previous area. I will only mention the items that you come across. Along the way you will get: 3 BLOOD VIALS, PURPLE ORB, 2 FLAYS. Then make your way to the exit. Area 3: In this area get the BLOOD REFILL, BLOOD VIAL, LIGHTENING SPELL, and HEART OF DARKNESS. Then make your way to the TELEPORTER. Along the way to the TELEPORTER you will find another BLOOD REFILL. From where you appear to make your way south to another TELEPORTER. Area 1: You are back in area 1. Go above the TELEPORTER and flip the switch and head to the exit. ========================================================================== Abernus ========================================================================== Where you emerge from the Lightening Cave, head southwest and you will find 3 BLOOD REFILLS and a VISTA MARKER. The vista marker shows your next destination. In the next section en route to Abernus, you will come across a VISTA MARKER, BAT BEACON, RED ORB, and a BLOOD REFILL. Whoa! This place is huge!! From where you enter the town, enter the very first building on the right to find a save point. Outside walk south to the fountain in the center of town. From there, enter the house to the west of the fountain and inside you will get a ENERGY BANK and a IMPLODE. Now back outside, enter the house to the east of the fountain. Inside you get an IMPLODE and a FLAY. Now go to the next house to the east that you can enter, and inside you will get an ANTI-TOXIN, FONT OF PUTRESCENCE, and a IMPLODE. After getting the items leave. Follow the path to the southeast and enter the first building that you come to there. Inside you get a FONT OF PUTRESCENCE, RED ORB, and a HEART OF DARKNESS. Now go to the next house to the east and enter it. You will know it is the right house because the road is blocked just on the other side of the door. Once inside take the stairs down into another area. In this sewer area, just walk to the exit on the other side. Once you get outside you realize that you are not in the same area of town. Make your way south and you will come across a couple of IMPLODES and 3 VISTA MARKERS. Where you kill the first lightening demon, go to the house with the smashed in door and turn into mist and go inside. Get the SLOW TIME and it is SECRET #79. Still in the building use Mist to go through the crack in the wall in the southeast corner. In this room, go through the doorway and make your way to the exit in the northwest corner. In the room you emerge in, go through the crack in the east wall and get the ENERGY BANK for SECRET #80. Now go back into the sewer and go to the southwest corner of the sewers. You will find a HEART OF DARKNESS here. It is SECRET #81. Now on the way to secret #81, you passed a door to the south, go through that door in Mist form. Follow the sewer south and then east. Enter the niche to the north and get the SLOW TIME there and you get SECRET #82. Now go to the stairs at the southeast end of the sewer. Go through the crack in the wall and get the SLOW TIME in the top room to get SECRET #83. Okay, now if you want to explore the rest of the city by all means go back to where you got secret #79 and explore the rest of the city. Me, I am going to go outside here and go to the Cathedral. In case you didn't know it, the Cathedral is the very big building. ========================================================================== Abernus' Cathedral ========================================================================== Area 1: Ummm... yeah, this place sure does look fun... Let's take the east path first shall we. You will see a VISTA MARKER by the entrance. Follow the path on the west side until it branches to the east. Press the blue switch slightly to the north and then go south and enter the door just above the entrance. This door takes you to the save room. Now go back into the main area and head up the east side. Enter the only door that you can enter at this point and step onto the TELEPORTER. Area 2: Go north into the next room and step onto the TELEPORTER there. Just make sure to flip the switch on the north wall before you leave. Area 1: Get the BLOOD VIAL and head into the room to the south. Now you have been in this room already so head out into the main hallway and enter the door to the north, and get onto the TELEPORTER there. Area 2: Press the switch on the north wall and then go back to area 1. Area 1: Go north through the door and to area 2. Area 2: Press the first and third switches and head into the east room and back to area 1. Area 1: Go south into the main hall then west. When you get to where you pressed the blue switch earlier, head north as far as you can and go to area 2. Area 2: Walk west and go back to area 1. Area 1: There is a switch in the upper right corner, press it to open the door to the south and then go into that room. Get the RUNE TRIANGLE and go to area 2. Area 2: Press the switch and go into the room to the south, then back to area 1. Area 1: Now go back into the main hall and go north through the large door in the center. Then you go to area 2. Area 2: This is getting old isn't it? Get the RED ORB to the south and go to the statue thing on the upper left to flip a switch and go back to area 1. Area 1: Make your way to the TELEPORTER in the northeast of the room. Before doing that, if you want to, go to the altar in the center of the room and get the BLOOD VIAL and RUNE TRIANGLE. Area 2: Press the switch and then get back to area 1. Area 1: Enter the room to the northwest. And yep, area 2... Area 2: Get to the northeast room and press the switch and then back to area 1. Area 1: Go through the doorway to the south. Area 3: Yes, you read right! Walk to the east and get SECRET #84. Then head into the door on the east side. Continue to walk through this area all the way north collecting items. Eventually you will come to an altar with a book on it. Read... I know this was more that 1 area, but who cares? Now go back to area 1. Area 1: Now go back to the chapel room and enter the northwest door. Area 4: Save then make your way to the north room where you can get a BLOOD VIAL and head into the TELEPORTER. You're going to get SOUL REAVER soon. Area 5: Walk along through this area taking the TELEPORTERS until you get to the end and get a BLOOD VIAL. Then get onto the last TELEPORTER and onto the next area. Area 6: Walk south until the road branches to the east and go east. At the end of this branch you will get a BLOOD VIAL. Now go back to where the road split and take the south branch to the TELEPORTER. Walk through the rest of the TELEPORTERS until you reach the next area. Area 7: More TELEPORTERS, need I say more? When you get to the southern part of the area you have only to step into the last TELEPORTER to go to another room and get SOUL REAVER. Now make your way back to area 1. Area 1: Enter the northeast room and make your way through the save room and into the next area. Area 8: Make your way through the halls to the exit. Flip the switches along the way and get 2 BLOOD REFILLS. Area 9: Move toward the exit pressing the yellow skull along the way. Also get the BLOOD REFILL, GREEN ORB, and RUNE TRIANGLE. Area 3: Walk along to the exit. Area 10: Move to the exit hitting the yellow symbol along the way. You will find a BLOOD REFILL along the way. Area 3: Repeat the above processes for areas 3 and the corresponding areas until you reach the end of this and get the WRAITH ARMOR. In the end you will see Malek's Skeleton from the opening FMV. Get on the TELEPORTER and go back to area 1. Area 1: Enter the center door behind the altar. Area 11: Go through this room and step on the VISTA MARKER. In the next room save and move to area 12. Area 12: Here you meet Azimuth. Get ready for a boss battle. Boss Battle: Azimuth Use the Barrier spell and then quickly equip Soul Reaver and attack her not the demons. After she is dead kill the demons. After she is dead claim her eye and leave. In the next room collect the TIMESTREAMING DEVICE. TELEPORT, save, TELEPORT, activate BAT BEACON. Then fly back to the Pillars of Nosgoth. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Part 8: Elzevir the Doll maker ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ========================================================================== Spirit Wrack Dungeon ========================================================================== Heading south of Abernus, you will find a VISTA MARKER along the road. Follow the road to the east and you will come across 2 more VISTA MARKERS. One for Abernus and one for Willendorf. Then head south and you will come to 2 more VISTA MARKERS. You will also see 2 huge gray boulders that you can't budge yet. You will come back for these later. Head east and you will come across another VISTA MARKER on the other side of some tents. In the next area you will find some VISTA MARKERS and a BAT BEACON. Then go to the cave that shows on your map. This cave is where you get Spirit Wrack. Area 1: Just walk up to the exit to the north. Save in the room above. Area 2: Use the guys on the left and right to flip the switches in their areas. The guy on the left can get you 2 PENTALICH OF TAROT. Then move north to area 3. Area 3: Avoid the spike balls and go north to the next area. Area 4: Walk west to the exit. Area 5: Get the BLOOD REFILL and GREEN ORB. Then use the guy at the bottom to get the GREEN ORB, SPIRIT WRACK, and RUNE TRIANGLE. Then use SPIRIT WRACK on the green skeleton at the top and make it flip the switch up there. Head into the tunnel to the northeast and use the skeletons on the isolated areas to flip the switches so that you can move to the next area. Area 6: Wash, rinse, repeat. You get some ENERGY BANKS, ORANGE ORB, and a RUNE TRIANGLE. Follow the bridges to the exit. From here make your way back to the entrance of the dungeon. Along the way you will get a BLOOD VIAL, and a GREEN ORB. ========================================================================== Blood Fountain of Strength (3) ========================================================================== Continue south from where you get Spirit Wrack and you will come across another VISTA MARKER in the next area. From there go south to the cave near the bottom of the area. This is the Blood Fountain of Strength (3). You are now the Arnold of the Undead. Time for just a little bit of backtracking. ========================================================================== Steinchencroe ========================================================================== Go back to Steinchencroe. Remember that boulder just to the east of the city that you couldn't push earlier? Well go push it. This is SECRET #85 and after pushing the boulder exit to the east and get several HEART OF DARKNESS, RUNE TRIANGLE, and a BLOOD VIAL. ========================================================================== Southeast of Abernus ========================================================================== Go to the area southeast of Abernus where there are all the Gypsy tents and the 2 large gray boulders. Push the left boulder left and you can go down and get the 4 HEART OF DARKNESS. This is SECRET #86. Now from there head south and enter the cave to the east. In this cave walk along until you have 2 knife throwers on platforms above you. Make the one on the right step on a hidden switch and get SECRET #87. Now you can walk through the door to the north and get lots of stuff. Now go back to where you were before you entered the Blood Fountain of Strength (3). ========================================================================== Blood Fountain of Magic (3) ========================================================================== Head south below the Blood Fountain of Strength (3). You will see a couple of large brown boulders on the right. Push them out of your way and then push the large gray one out of your way too. Get the 4 PENTALICH OF TAROT and you also get SECRET #88. If you head south from there you will come to an area where there are 2 caves, a BAT BEACON and a Moon Cave. Enter the first cave that you come to and it is the Blood Fountain of Magic (3). Enter the second cave and you will find a hidden floor switch in it that gives you SECRET #89. You can also get many items in here. Now head south and activate the BAT BEACON and go to the moon cave. ========================================================================== Slow Time Spirit Forge ========================================================================== The moon cave mentioned above is the Slow Time Spirit Forge. Enter it and get SECRET #90. Then go back up to Willendorf. ========================================================================== Cave of Illusion ========================================================================== From wherever you are, fly to Willendorf. You can't enter the castle yet because you don't look like a noble (yet you are one). So from where you land walk east until you come to a cave with a VISTA MARKER in front of it. Enter the cave. This is the Cave of Illusion. Also while you are in the outer village, use Mist to get to the lone house to the northwest of the village. Inside you will find a TELEPORTER to the Slow Time Spirit Forge. This is a backdoor and it is SECRET #91. Area 1: Walk through the cave to the exit. Area 2: Drink from the Blood Fountain. Then leave. You can save in this cave if you want to. ========================================================================== Willendorf ========================================================================== Now if you have been following this guide faithfully then you will noticed that long ago the BLOOD VIALS and RUNE TRIANGLES have ceased to increase your health and magic vials. Since that is the case, I will stop mentioning them. You also know where to get all of the items from the Spirit Forges, thusly I will stop mentioning them as well. From here out I will only mention how to obtain SPELLS, and SECRETS (along with some extras here and there). Basically from here out, I will only tell you where to go and how to solve the puzzles. From here out, if you wish to explore the areas, then you are more than welcome to. Before entering the castle grounds, turn into mist and head south. You will eventually come to a lone island with a ORANGE ORB, and 4 HEART OF DARKNESS. This is SECRET #92. Use the improved disguise to enter Willendorf Castle. Once inside go to the towers on the east and west sides. Once in either tower, follow the way that the tower takes you to the top of the wall on the north side and go inside and flip the switches. Now the door to the Castle itself is open. ========================================================================== Willendorf Castle ========================================================================== Enter the castle and King Otmar will ask you to get the doll back from Elzevir the Doll maker. After speaking to the king, go back into the room you entered the castle through. To the west side you will find a doorway. Follow this path until you go through some tunnels and come out in a snowy area that is a good distance to the northeast of the castle. At the end of the tunnels, you will find a save room. After saving head back out into the tunnel and just below the save room entrance you will find the way out. In real life it would only be about five to ten feet. ========================================================================== Snow Fortress ========================================================================== When you emerge from the Willendorf Tunnels, you will see a fort-type area that you have to pass through. Go to the southeast/west towers and gain control of the enemies on top and make them go inside to flip the switches. Then go inside and enter the inner rear area of the fort. Follow these tunnels and you will eventually wind up on the outside of the fort on the north side. ========================================================================== Stahlberg ========================================================================== When you emerge from the Snow Fortress, head north and activate the BAT BEACON there. Then head north into Stahlberg. Man this place is dead. Where can a guy go for a little action? Explore the town and then head north out of town. ========================================================================== Elzevir's Mansion ========================================================================== Follow the road north and then west from Stahlberg. You will then come to a gate that you can't open. Use Spirit Wrack on one of the enemies on the north side of the gate and then make it walk up and flip the switch. Turn into Mist and go to the small ice island in the middle of the lake. In the midst of the items on the island you will find SECRET #93. From #93, turn into Mist and head west. Follow the coast line around and you will find small caches of items that will give you SECRETS #94, #95, & #96. Then head north to the mansion. Area 1: There is a save room just to the right of the entrance. You will see several doors, yet you can only enter the northwest door for now. Area 2: Walk along the path until you come to where there are several barrels blocking your path. Use Spirit Wrack on the doll down by the switch and then walk through the door that was closed a minute ago to the north of you. Follow that path down through to the exit and push the switch at the end. Area 1: You are back in area 1 again but now the northeast door is open. You know what to do. Area 3: Head east then south. Flip the switch in this room and then in the next room, go all the way down to the spikes at the end and use Spirit Wrack on the doll and let it be destroyed. That will open the door to your north. Walk over through the ice area to where there is a switch across from some spikes. Shoot the switch and then follow the path to the area exit. Be sure to hit the switch on the north wall just above the exit. Area 1: The center door is now open. Enter it and you will pass a closed door on your right. Head up past it and jump over the obstacles in your way. Proceed to the northeast exit. Area 4: In the first room press the switch on the north wall and move to the next room. In the second room go north and hit the floor switch. In the third room, press the switch and move east. From there head south all to way to the end of the long corridor. Press what looks like some books beside the north door and then enter the room with the 4 victims in it. From that square room in the center, go through the north door of the room. You will be taken to a save room. Area 5: Head north from the save room and meet Elzevir the Doll maker. Then follow him into the north room for a boss battle. Boss Battle: Elzevir the Doll maker Use the same battle strategy that you used for Azimuth. Once Elzevir is dead, go into the room to the north and claim the doll. Now leave Elzevir's Mansion. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Part 9: William the Just (or "My Friends Call Me Bill") ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ========================================================================== Pentalich of Tarot Spirit Forge ========================================================================== From Elzevir's Mansion head back to where that giant statue is. Now the gate to the north of that should be open now. Go through the gate and walk up to the Stronghold of William the Just. Now, you won't meet Bill just yet, so head west just in front of the stronghold. Follow this path to a moon cave. This moon cave is the Pentalich of Tarot Spirit Forge. This is also SECRET #97. The cave to the west of the moon cave is the backdoor to Bill's Stronghold and you should use that when you decide to go after him... ========================================================================== Willendorf Castle ========================================================================== NOTE: Up to this point there are 97 secrets. If you want them all, then go and hunt for them before entering the castle, otherwise you will not be able to go back for them. Take the doll maker's head and doll to King Otmar. I believe that the song "Who Wants To Kick Some Ass" by Stroke 9 should be played for this FMV. Anyway, make your way north through the battlefield killing all enemies that you see. When you get far enough through the battlefield you will be TELEPORTED 50 years into the past. Kill the man in the fortress with you. Then after the FMV, head north to Stahlberg. ========================================================================== Stahlberg ========================================================================== In Stahlberg head north to William the Just's Stronghold. Feel free to search the town for items. ========================================================================== Pentalich of Tarot Spirit Forge ========================================================================== Before entering the Stronghold of William the Just, go to the Pentalich of Tarot Spirit Forge. If you did not waste time during the full moon you should still be able to enter the moon cave that houses the Spirit Forge. Inside you will find another secret. This is SECRET #98, and it is exactly the same as #97. After getting it, go and enter Bill's place. ========================================================================== Stronghold of William the Just ========================================================================== Once you are inside the stronghold save and then move on to the first area. Area 1: Head to the northeast exit to the area. Area 2: Walk through the first room that has that brown liquid on the floor. Flip the switch at the north end of it. Then move on to the next room and then head north. When you get to the really long room that runs east to west, go to the east side and flip the switch. This opens the door on the west side so that you can reach the area exit. Area 3: Flip the switch in the room that you enter and then exit to the north of the next room. Area 4: When you enter this area there is a closed door in front of you. Walk to the north end of the area and press all 3 switches and then go and enter the door that you just opened at the bottom of the area. Area 5: Head east then south and exit through the bottom exit. Area 6: Okay as you enter this area you hear Mobius and William the Just having a conversation. After the conversation, since you can't do anything else in here go back to area 5. Area 5: Head to the north and press the switch that you will come across on the right. And then exit to the north. Area 7: You see 4 switches spread out on the north wall. Flip the second switch, going left to right that is. Then exit through the southeast door of the room. Area 6: You are now back in area 6 where Bill and Mobius were talking earlier. Press the switch to the right of the door and you get SECRET #99. You only have 1 more secret to go now! Area 7: Go through this area and press all 4 switches. Yes even press #2 again. Then the door at the top opens. Go through it. Area 8: Flip the switch on the right and then go through the door at the top. Area 9: Save and then move up into area 9. The next room is the boss arena. Boss Battle: William the Just Use the Repel spell and either the Flame Sword or Soul Reaver. At this point just hack and slash till Bill is dead. Once he is dead you will be swarmed by a bunch of his soldiers. But by using Repel, they can't touch you. Once he is dead, head into the north room and get the TIMESTREAMING DEVICE again. Begin to head south and you will go back to your time. Now leave the stronghold. ========================================================================== Pentalich of Tarot Spirit Forge ========================================================================== Yep, you know the place. Wait for a full moon and enter the Spirit Forge again and get SECRET #100. Yep, that's all of them. ========================================================================== Stahlberg ========================================================================== Head south to Stahlberg until a FMV kicks in and you see Vorador being executed. Then kill all who attack you. Mobius will then begin speaking with you and then disappear. After your small conversation with Mobius, head north and you will have to do some fighting. Once you defeat the monsters, you will automatically fly to the Pillars of Nosgoth. There you will have a boss battle. Boss Battle: Mortanius Use the Repel shield and the Flame Sword and you will be able to defeat Mortanius pretty easily. Boss Battle: Dark Entity Use the same strategy as for Mortanius. After the fighting is done, then you get to decide the fate of Nosgoth!
