   There are four playable characters for you to choose from when you begin
 Borderlands.  Each character has one "action" skill or main ability specific
 to that character class.  This is the first skill that each character
 receives at level 5.  There are 4 tiers after that initial skill and to
 advance to the next tier you must place 5 points in any combination into the
 two skills of that tier.

I. Soldier

= Soldier "Action" Ability =
----------------------------

Scorpio Turret
 Gain the ability to deploy a Scorpio Turret that automatically fires at
 enemies.  The Scorpio Turret also has shields that can be used as cover.
 Cooldown: 100 seconds.

===Infantry Tier 1===
(Impact - Sentry)

Impact - Increases Bullet Damage with all weapon types.
  Per Level:
    +3% Bullet Damage

Sentry - Increases Scorpio Turret damage.
  Per Level:
    +7% Scorpio Turret damage.


===Infantry Tier 2===
(Scattershot - Metal Storm)

Scattershot - Increases shotgun damage and spread.
  Per Level:
    +3% Shotgun Damage
    +5% Shotgun Spread

Metal Storm - Killing an enemy increases tour Fire Rate and reduces Recoil for
              a few seconds.
  Per Level:
    +6% Weapon fire rate
    +15% Recoil Reduction


===Infantry Tier 3===
(Refire - Assault)

Refire - Shooting an enemy reduces the cooldown of your Scorpio Turret.  This
         effect can only occur every 2 seconds.
  Per Level:
    +1 second cooldown reduction

Assault - Increases Magazine Size and reduces Recoil with Combat Rifles.
  Per Level:
    +9% Magazine Size
    +9% Recoil Reduction


===Infantry Tier 4===
(Guided Missle)

Guided Missle - Your Scorpio Turret launches guided missles in addition to
                using its regular gun.
  Per Level:
    +1 Missle every 8 seconds

 *Each level of this skill reduces the second count or "cooldown" of the
  missle by 1.  (The 5th level fires 1 missle every 4 seconds)

===Support  Tier 1===
(Defense - Stockpile)

Defense - Increases how quickly your shields recharge.
  Per Level:
    +4% Shield Recharge Speed

Stockpile - Players near the Scorpio Turret regenerate ammo for the weapon
            currently in their hands.
  Per Level:
    +1 Ammo Regeneration Rate


===Support  Tier 2===
(Quick Charge - Barrage)

Quick Charge - Killing an enemy causes your shields to quickly regenerate for
               a few seconds.
  Per Level:
    +2% Shields per second

Barrage - Increases the number of shots your Scorpio Turret fires in each 
          burst.
  Per Level:
    +1 Shots fired per burst


===Support  Tier 3===
(Grenadier - Deploy)

Grenadier - Killing an enemy increases your grenade damage and causes you to
            regenerate grenades for a few seconds.
  Per Level:
    +2 Grenades per minute
    +3% Grenade damage

Deploy - Reduces the cooldown for your Scorpio Turret.
  Per Level:
    +20% Cooldown reduction (does not stack)

Level 1: 100 - 20% = 80% (actual)
Level 2: 80 - 20% = 64%
Level 3: 64 - 20% = 51.2%
Level 4: 51.2 - 20% = 41.26%
Level 5: 41.26 -  20% = 33.008%

(Supply Drop)

Supply Drop - The Scorpio Turret periodically fires out supply pickups to
              resupply players.
  Per Level:
    +1 Supply drop every 7 seconds

===Medic Tier 1===
(Fitness - Aid Station)

Fitness - Increases your maximum health.
  Per Level:
    +5% maximum health

Aid Station - Allies near the Scorpio Turret regenerate health.
  Per Level:
    +1% health regeneration per second

===Medic Tier 2===
(Overload - Cauterize)

Overload - Increases magazine capacity with all weapon types.
  Per Level:
    +12% Magazine Size

Cauterize - Shooting team members heals them.  This effect also works with
            grenades and rockets.
  Per Level:
    +6% Damage converted to health

===Medic Tier 3===
(Revive - Grit)

Revive - The Scorpio Turret has a chance to instantly revive nearby crippled 
         friends when deployed.
  Per Level:
    +14% Revival Chance

Grit - Increases your resistance to Bullet Damage
  Per Level:
    +3% Bullet Resistance


===Medic Tier 4===
(Stat)

Stat - Killing an enemy increases health regeneration for you and nearby
       friends for a few seconds.
  Per Level:
    +1% Health regeneration per second

 Gain the ability to send your pet Bloodwing out to attack an enemy and then 
 return.  Cooldown: 28 seconds

(Focus - Caliber)

Focus - Increases accuracy with all weapon types.
  Per Level:
    +5% Accuracy
    -10% Sniper Rifle sway

Caliber - Increases damage with Sniper Rifles.
  Per Level:
    +4% Sniper Rifle damage


===Sniper Tier 2===
(Smirk - Killer)

Smirk - All players on your team (including you) gain additional experience
        when you kill an enemy with a critical hit.
  Per Level:
    +3% Experience Bonus

Killer - Killing an enemy increases your damage and reload speed with all guns
         for a few seconds.
  Per Level:
    +8% Damage
    +6% Reload Speed


===Sniper Tier 3===
(Loaded - Carrion Call)

Loaded - Increases Magazine Capacity with Sniper Rifles
  Per Level:
    +14% Magazine Capacity

Carrion Call - Shoot an enemy with a sniper rifle reduces the cooldown of your
               Bloodwing.
  Per Level:
    -0.8 (in seconds) Cooldown reduction per hit


===Sniper Tier 4===
(Trespass)

Trespass - Your bullets have a chance to ignore shields.  Also slightly 
           increased bullet damage.
  Per Level:
    +20% chance to penetrate shields
    +1% bullet damage

===Rogue Tier 1===
(Swift Strike - Swipe)

Swift Strike - Increases Bloodwing damage and movement speed
  Per Level:
    +20% Bloodwing Damage
    +8% Bloodwing Speed

Swipe - The Bloodwing causes enemies to drop additional money, ammo, and 
        healing items when it attacks.
  Per Level:
    +1 Maximum number of additional items dropped.


===Rogue Tier 2===
(Fast Hands - Out For Blood)

Fast Hands - Increases Reload Speed with all weapon types.
  Per Level:
    +8% Reload Speed

Out For Blood - When your Bloodwing strikes an enemy you gain health based on
                the amount of damage done.
  Per Level:
    +7% Percentage of damage converted to health


===Rogue Tier 3===
(Aerial Impact - Ransack)

Aerial Impact - Attacks from your Bloodwing can Daze enemies reducing their
                movement speed and accuracy.
  Per Level:
    +20% Chance to Daze (vs an equal level enemy)

Ransack - Killing an enemy increases the amount of loot you get from other
          enemies killed for a few seconds.
  Per Level:
    +20% Chance to drop an additional item


===Rogue Tier 4===
(Bird of Prey)

Bird of Prey - Increases the number of targets the Bloodwing can attack before
               returning.
  Per Level:
    +1 Targets the Bloodwing attacks

===Gunslinger Tier 1===
(Deadly - Gun Crazy)

Deadly - Increases Critical Hit damage
  Per Level:
    +6% Critical Hit damage

Gun Crazy - When using pistols you have a chance to fire 2 shots with each
            trigger pull instead of just 1.
  Per Level:
    +8% Chance to fire 2 shots


===Gunslinger Tier 2===
(Lethal Strike - Riotous Remedy)

Lethal Strike - Increases melee damage.  Also, every melee attack has a 35%
                chance to be a Lethal Strike and deal extremely high damage.
  Per Level:
    +10% Melee Damage
    +100% Lethal Strike damage dealt

Riotous Remedy - Killing an enemy gives you chaotic health regeneration for a
                 few seconds.
  Per Level:
    +3% maximum health regeneration over 7 seconds


===Gunslinger Tier 3===
(Predator - Hair Trigger)

Predator - Decreases the cooldown of your pet Bloodwing.
  Per Level:
    -3 second reduction in Bloodwing cooldown

Hair Trigger - Increases Fire Rate and Magazine Size with pistols.
  Per Level:
    +4% Fire Rate
    +6% Magazine Size


===Gunslinger Tier 4===
(Relentless)

Relentless - Killing an enemy increases your Fire Rate and gives every bullet
             fired a 25% chance to be a Killer Shot and deal additional damage.
             This effect lasts a few seconds.
  Per Level:
    +8% Fire Rate
    +20% Killer Shot damage

III. Beserker

= Beserker "Action" Ability  =
------------------------------

Beserk
 Gain the ability to go Beserk.  While Beserk, Mouse-1 and Mouse-2 throw
 punches.  Also, you gain resistance to all damage and you regenerate health
 while Berserking.  Cooldown: 60 seconds.

 The one attack is an uppercut and the other attack is a quick jab with the
 right fist.  The jab does less damage but it is easier to connect on fast 
 moving enemies and I find this to be the better attack.

(Iron Fist - Endless Rage)

Iron Fist - Increases the melee damage you deal.
  Per Level:
   +6% Melee Damage

Endless Rage - Increases the duration of Beserk.
  Per Level:
   +10% Beserk Duration

===Brawler Tier 2===
(Sting Like a Bee - Heavy Handed)

Sting Like a Bee - Punching while Beserk causes you to dash forward and slug 
                   your enemies.
  Per Level:
   +4 feet dash distance

Heavy Handed - Killing an enemy greatly increases your melee damage for a few 
               seconds.
  Per Level:
   +12% Melee Damage

===Brawler Tier 3===
(Prize Fighter - Short Fuse)

Prize Fighter - While Beserk is active, your melee attacks have a chance to
                spawn cash prizes.
  Per Level:
   +6% chance to spawn a cash prize

Short Fuse - Decreases the Cooldown of Berserk
  Per Level:
   -6 seconds of Berserk Cooldown

===Brawler Tier 4===
(Blood Sport)

Blood Sport - Killing an enemy while Bersek is active regenerates from of 
              your health
  Per Level:
   +2% Health Regenerated

===Tank Tier 1===
(Hardened - Safeguard)

Hardened - Increases your maximum health.
  Per Level:
   +12% Maximum Health

Safeguard - Increases the strength of your shield.
  Per Level:
   +8% Shield Strength

===Tank Tier 2===
(Bash - Juggernaut)

Bash - Gives your melee attacks a chance to Daze enemies, slowing them and 
       reducing their accuracy.
  Per Level:
   +10% Chance to Daze

Juggernaut - Killing an enemy creates resistance to all damage for a few 
             seconds
  Per Level:
   +10% Damage Resistance

===Tank Tier 3===
(Pay Back - Diehard)

Pay Back - After your shields become depleted, you gain a damage bonus for 
           10 seconds.
  Per Level:
   +8% Damage Bonus

Diehard - Increases the amount of health you regain when revived by a friend 
          or by Second Wind. Also increases the amount of time you have before
          you die when you are Crippled.
  Per Level:
   +30% Revived Health Bonus
   +20% Time to be Revived

===Tank Tier 4===
(Unbreakable)

Unbreakable - When your shield is depleted, you gain 5 seconds of powerful 
              shield regeneration
  Per Level:
   +3% Shield Strength regenerated per second

===Blaster Tier 1===
(Endowed - Rapid Reload)

Endowed - Increases the Explosive Damage you deal
  Per Level:
   +3% Explosive Damage

Rapid Reload - Increases your Reload Speed and reduces Recoil with all weapons.
  Per Level:
   +4% Reload Speed
   +6% Recoil Reduction

===Blaster Tier 2===
(Revenge - Wide Load)

Revenge - Killing an enemy increases your damage with all weapons for a few 
          seconds.
  Per Level:
   +10% Damage

Wide Load - Increases the number of Rockets your Rocket Launcher can hold in 
            its magazine.
  Per Level:
   +1 Launcher Magazine Size

===Blaster Tier 3===
(Liquidate - Cast Iron)

Liquidate - Dealing Explosive Damage to an enemy reduces the Cooldown time of 
            Berserk
  Per Level:
   +1 Cooldown Reduction per hit (in seconds)

Cast Iron - Increases your resistance to Explosive Damage
  Per Level:
   +8% Explosive Damage Resistance

===Blaster Tier 4===
(Master Blaster)

Master Blaster - Killing an enemy increases your Fire Rate with all weapons 
                 and causes you to regenerate rockets for a few seconds.
  Per Level:
   +12% Fire Rate
   +2 Rockets regenerated per minute

Phasewalk 
 Gain the ability to turn invisible and move incredibly fast.  Upon entering
 and leaving Phasewalk you create a Phase Blast that damages nearby enemies.
 You can Melee attack to end Phasewalk early.  Cooldown: 36 seconds.

Inner Glow - You regenerate Health while Phasewalking.

Dramatic Entrance - Your Phase Blast can Daze enemies, reducing their movement 
                    speed and accuracy.
  Per Level:
   +20% Chance to Daze (vs an equal level enemy)

===Controller Tier 3===
(Hard to Get - Girl Power)

Hard to Get - Decreases the cooldown time of Phasewalk.
  Per Level:
   -3 second reduction on Phasewalk Cooldown

Girl Power - Killing an enemy causes your Shield to quickly regenerate for a 
             few seconds.
  Per Level:
   +2% Shield Regeneration per second

===Controller Tier 4===
(Mind Games)

Mind Games - Each bullet has a chance to daze enemies, reducing their movement 
             speed and accuracy.
  Per Level:
   +5% Chance to Daze (vs an equal level enemy)

(Quicksilver - Spark)

Quicksilver - Increases your Fire Rate with all weapons.
  Per Level:
   +5% Fire Rate

Spark - Causing elemental effects with Elemental Weapons.
  Per Level:
   +4% Elemental Chance

===Elemental Tier 2===
(Resistance - Radiance)

Resilience - Increases your resistance to Fire, Shock, Corrosive and Explosive 
             Damage.
  Per Level:
   +6% Elemental Resistance

Radiance - You deal Shock Damage to nearby enemies while Phasewalking.  Damage
           is based on your Level and the Skill's Level.
  Per Level:
   +1 Shock Damage

===Elemental Tier 3===
(Venom - Intuition)

Venom - Add corrosive Damage to your melee attacks.  Also, your melee attacks 
        have a chance to Corrode enemies, causing additional damage over time.
  Per Level:
   +5% Melee Damage

Intuition - Killing an enemy increases your movement speed and the experience 
            you and your team earn for a few seconds.
  Per Level:
   +10% Movement Speed
   +4% Team Experience

===Elemental Tier 4===
(Phoenix)

Phoenix - Killing an enemy causes you to deal Fire Damage to nearby enemies 
          and makes your shots not always cost ammo for a few seconds.  Fire 
          Damage increases with your Level.
  Per Level:
   +5% Chance to save ammo
   +1 Fire Damage

(Slayer - Silent Resolve)

Slayer - Increases your Critical Hit Damage.
  Per Level:
   +5% Critical Hit Damage
Silent Resolve - Increases your resistance to damage for a few seconds after 
                 Phasewalking.
  Per Level:
   +14% Damage Reduction

===Assassin Tier 2===
(Enforcer - Hit & Run)

Enforcer - Killing an enemy increases your accuracy and Bullet Damage for a 
           few seconds.
  Per Level:
   +7% Accuracy
   +2% Bullet Damage

Hit & Run - Gain increased melee damage and Phasewalk duration.
  Per Level:
   +7% Melee Damage
   +0.8 Phasewalk duration (in seconds)

===Assassin Tier 3===
(High Velocity - Blackout)

High Velocity - Increases Bullet Damage and Velocity.
  Per Level:
   +20% Bullet Velocity
   +4% Bullet Damage

Blackout - Killing an enemy reduces the cooldown time of Phasewalk.
  Per Level:
   +1.2 seconds of cooldown reduction per kill

===Assassin Tier 4===
(Phase Strike)

Phase Strike - Using a melee attack while Phasewalking deals additional 
               damage.
  Per Level:
   +160% Melee Damage
