Section 3: Your Squad
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Delta Squad is made up of 4 of the most well trained clones Kamino has ever seen.
The squad consists of Delta 38, 62, 40, and 07. As you will soon learn, if you
dont have each individual member of your squad working as a team to solve a
problem you are prone to failure. Thats why you must learn that without your
squad, you are just some ordinary clone in fancy armor. This section introduces
all four commandoes on your team.

---------------------------------------------------
i. Delta Six-Two/RC-1262 "Scorch"
---------------------------------------------------

Delta 62 AKA: Scorch, is the most talkitive commando there is. (for quotes see
section IX) His expertise is in demolitions, but he can do any job just as
effeciantly as the other commandoes. His favorite weapon is the Anti-Armor
attachment for the blaster rifle, and his armor color is yellow. To issue an order
for Scorch hold A over the area that needs detonation.

--------------------------------------------------
ii. Delta Four-Oh/RC-1140 "Fixer"
--------------------------------------------------

Delta 40 AKA: Fixer, is the second in command next to boss. He is also extremely
strict (for quotes see section IX)
Fixer`s expertise is computer slicing but he can also do Scorch`s and Sev`s job
with equal effectiveness. His favorite
weapon is the DC-17m Modified Blaster Rifle, and his armor is green. To get Fixer
hard at work hold A over desired terminal
for him to slice.

-------------------------------------------------------
iii. Delta Three-Eight/RC-1138 "Boss"
-------------------------------------------------------

Delta 38 AKA: Boss, is the squad-leader of Delta squad (The Delta you play as).
Boss is the master of any weapon, and
any task (quotes are in section IX). Delta squad follows his commands without
question, and without boss, Delta squad
would be nothing but common commandoes. To make boss work, get close to the task
and hold A. Although you never actually see his full armor in the game, it is orange.

--------------------------------------------------
iv. Delta Oh-Seven/RC-1207 "Sev"
--------------------------------------------------

Delta 07 AKA: Sev, is the die hard fighter of delta squad. His combat skills are
unmatched, and he loves sniping. If any
squad member is unable to, or fails to comply with there job, Sev can do it with
equal accuracy. His favorite weapon is the sniper attachment for the blaster
rifle. To get Sev to do a job, position your reticle at a sniping spot or any
other of his specialties and press A. Sev`s armor is red. (Quotes in section IX)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Section 4: Weapons
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The weapons are the most valuable assets, to your game. Each weapon has it`s
strengths and it`s weaknesses. Although
no weapon is completly useless, it is good to switch between weapons depending on
how the fight circumstances change. Here is a list of all the weapons in the game.

--------------
i. Guns
--------------

a. DC-17m Modified Blaster Rifle

This is the basic weapon of a commando. It is capable of rapid fire, and accurate
rapid fire by zoom. It has a capacity of 300 shots before depleting it`s ammo. It
can also be transformed into a sniper weapon and a heavy assult weapon. It, and all
of it`s other attachments are capable of rapid reload also. Since this weapon is
not used for melee it provides you with a retractable knuckle plate vibroblade for
close range.

b. Sniper Attachment

This sniping attachment to your DC-17 is the most precise and the most deadly
against small arms troopers such as battle droids. This weapon is not meant for up
close combat. It has a 10x and 20x magnification scope, which are sometimes
referred to by commandoes as "Up close and personal" and "Hello you`re dead". It
can fire 20 shots before depleting it`s ammo.

c. Anti-Armor Attachment

Extremely effective against SBDs and spider droids, this attachment for your DC-17
shoots out highly deadly compact cylinders that explode on impact. Since it only
has 4 shots before depleting it`s ammo, it should never be used on
common infantry unless there all clustered in the same spot. Also never shoot it
at extremely close range or if one of your
commandoes are nearby.

d. DC-15s Side Arm Blaster

This side arm blaster may not be as powerful as the other weapons, but it does
have a tactical advantage: It never runs out
of ammo. You can shoot about 7 or 8 shots before it overheats and you have to wait
for the meter to fill back up. It also has a precision zoom option feature. You
should never rely on this in a firefight. But it can come in handy.

e. LS-150 Heavy Accelerated Charged Particle Repeater Gun (Heavy Repeater)

Although it`s accuracy isnt that great, It packs a powerful punch. This weapon is
so heavy that it actually slows your walking speed. I would recommend carrying a
light weapon untill you reach the combat area. This gun is so massive that only
one type of Trandoshans can even carry it: The Elites. It takes an EXTREMELY long
time for this thing to reload, so I recommend
getting out of the combat zone before doing so. It also has powerful melee attacks
too. It can carry up to 400 shots.

f. Accelerated Charged Particle Repeater Gun (Trando SMG)

A light version of the heavy repeater, this light repeater is probably one of the
weakest weapons in the game. But that does not make it completely useless,
especially if you are good at close range head shots. Trandoshans Mercenaries
carry these
light repeaters, along with the maximum 160 shots. It also makes use of your
knuckle plate vibroblade.

g. Accelerated Charged Particle Array Gun (Shotgun)

Found carried by Trandoshan slavers, these "Shotguns" are possibly the most
powerful close-close range weapons in the game. These weapons may be good at close
range, but they should never be used in moderate to long range. This is an
extremely good headshot weapon too, probably second only to the sniper attachment
for your DC-17. It has a fast
and deadly melee attack also. It carries 24 shots.

h. LJ-50 Concussion Rifle (Conc. Rifle)

Another very powerful and very RARE weapon, this concussion rifle or conc. rifle
for short, fires a heavy accelerated charged
wave that does not explode on impact, but gathers all the energy in the wave,
implodes, then explodes, wiping out whatever you aimed at. This is especially
effective against droids, because when you melee with this weapon, it sends an
electrical charge rhroughout the droids body, stunning, or destroying it. It
carries 10 shots.

i. Wookiee Bowcaster

A useful all around weapon, the bowcaster can zoom, and charge up its firing beam
for maximum effect. I also found the way you reload it to be rather neat. It has a
pretty good melee, but I would stick to firing the weapon and using your knuckle
plate blade for close quarters. It has a capacity of 24 shots.

j. Wookiee Rocket Launcher

A very rare find, this wookiee superweapon is probably THE most powerful weapon
there is in the game. Most effective
against SBDs and Spider Droids, you can lock on to them by simply holding down the
trigger when your aim reticle is red
and releasing it when it is locked on. I`m not exactly certain on how much ammo it
can carry, but I estimate about 5 shots.
Be careful when using this weapon, or it could be the last mistake you ever
make.... well at least in the game.

k. Elite Beam Weapon

The weapon preferred by the geonosian elite warrior caste. This is a very powerful
all around weapon that sucks fluids from your body and is transferred to the gun.
This however does not weaken you in any way. It takes a while to actually fire it,
because it has to charge up. It also does not need to be reloaded. To get more
ammo simply walk up to another one that has more ammo and pick it up. It does not
have numbers on it`s ammo meter.

------------------------------
ii. Detonaters (Dets)
------------------------------

Your squad is incapacitated. You used all your ammo killing the trando slavers and
all you have left is your DC-15s
Side Arm Blaster. But there are two SBDs heading your way. Your life meter reads
one bar and your shields have not yet recharged. You could risk going across the
room and getting health from the bacta, or you could prime a few flashbug
detonaters and blow the droids up! Heres a list of the VERY useful detonaters in
the game.

a. Thermal Detonater

The "all purpose" detonater, the thermal detonater should be thrown at an enemy`s
feet for maximum effect. I find it useful to throw them at clustered battle droids
to clear a path. And when you do a door breach, a squad member will throw on of
these into the adjointing room to weaken the resistance. It is shaped like a sphere.

b. EC Detonater

The "shock" detonater, this type sends out an electrical charge to any enemy
standing near it. It is extremely effective against droids, (especially droidekas)
and hardly effective at all against organics. Be sure to stand back, or you`ll get
zapped as well. It is shaped like an hour glass. Its basicly the same as a conc.
rifle melee.

c. Sonic Detonater

The "stun" detonater is made for organic targets only. Maybe thats why it tends to
go out of site sometimes used against droids. When thrown, this det creates an
unusually bright bang light. For best results, use them on Geonosians. This
detonater is shaped like a cylinder.

d. Flashbug Detonater

The "instant bang" detonater is a very powerful detonater that explodes on
contact. Make sure you are standing at a considerable distance away before
throwing or you`ll be affected as well. You should always try to conserve these
dets, untill you run into a tough to beat enemy. Although they also stick to
walls, this is not their main purpose. This detonater is shaped like a funnel with
a green ball at the top.

--------------
iii. Melee
--------------

If you`re having a tough time getting your aim reticle locked with your enemy,
then I have an answer to all your problems. Its called melee, and its very useful
in close quarters. To activate melee press B. Here is a list of the melee
components in the game.

a. Retractable Knuckle Plate Vibroblade

The most powerful melee type there is, the knuckle plate vibroblade is my personal
favorite. You can use this when weilding a DC-17 (and any of its attachments) or a
Trando SMG. The most effective way to use this is at head melees. For maximum
effect, go into a meleeing rampage (constantly pressing B makes to do an extremely
rapid melee, or melee rampage)

b. Weapon Bashing

Weapon bashing is the melee of most weapons, most do more damage when not focused
on head shots (with the
exception of the shotgun) You shouldnt resort to melee unless you`re in close
quarters. Unless thats the case, then just stick to your DC-17.

c. Trandoshan Berserker Vibroknives

Although these weapons are physically impossible to obtain at any time during the
game, I included this because it is a melee weapon. And a very annoying one at
that. Most of the time the slavers drop the shotgun before they do an annoying
dance around you with their knives slashing. Just pick up the shotgun and do a
head melee. It is a guarunteed kill.

---------------
iv. Turrets
---------------

If you`re on the turret, then you have a great a advantage. But if its the other
way around, well, you get the picture. Flashbug dets usually kill the gunner, but
you might want to attack from the unprotected rear. There are quite a few types of
turrets. Each having it`s weaknesses and it`s strengths. But almost all of them
overheat and have to recharge, which keeps you unprotected. You can also command a
squadmate to man a turret if you`re busy with something.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Section 5: Enemies
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------------
i. Droids
-------------

a. Battle Droids

Extremely weak and very little accuracy when firing, battle droids are the basic
infantry of the confederacy. Alone they pose no threat at all. Grouped they pose
no threat at all (if you have dets). But if they are being lead by and SBD or a
handful of droidekas they still pose very little threat. Just go on a meleeing
rampage to kill them all.

b. Super Battle Droids (SBDs)

Extremely powerful advanced form battle droids. These droid warriors should not be
taken lightly. They are very accurate, when firing their repeater gun and there
blast cannon. If you get a chance, try to snipe them from a distance, picking off
their arms, and shooting off their headplate. When you throw a grenade at them, on
rare oacasions they they hold up their arm forming a shield and preventing the
blast. Your anti-armor attachment is also very effective.

c. Droidekas (Destroyer Droids)

These droids can deploy into ball mode which makes them roll quickly around the
battle field. When they un-deploy, a shield pops up around them and they begin
firing with repeating lasers. Their weakness is their inability do defend
themselves at close range. All you need to do is use a weapon to bash their
shields, and then go for their main structure. A quicker way is to throw an EC Det
at them. It goes right through their shields.

d. Advanced Dwarf Spider Droids

The ultimate test of strength, endurance, and cleverness. This tank with legs is
nearly invincible. It is immune to every kind of small arms fire there is. The
only weak spot on this walking fortess is it`s optical cluster located on it`s
abdoman. When shooting this "eye" you must time it right or it will "blink",
temporarely shielding it. For best results, use the wookiee rocket launcher, the
anti-armor attachment, the sniper attachment, or the elite beam weapon.

e. Grievous`s MagnaGuards

The rarest form of droid in the confederacy, and probably the most annoying, the
MagnaGuards are Grievous`s elite class bodyguards. Equiped with an electrostaff
and able to jump to extreme heights, these droids are no pushovers, but they are
not invincible. When you have to protect Tarful, they may prove to be a challenge
but after that they`re a piece of cake. You might want to force them into a tight
area, and use your knuckle plate vibroblade to go on a rampage. Be careful, once
they`ve been beaten, they self desrtuct!

f. Scavenger Droids

Located only on the Republic Assult Ship and Kasyyyk, they have very weak lasers
and are quite easy to dispose of. Just dont let one get too close, or it will
latch on to you. To remove it press the up button repeatedly on your d-pad.

---------------------
ii. Geonosians
---------------------

a. Warrior Caste (Basic Infantry)

Extremely weak, but very hard to aim at, these geos are the most common geos. They
carry a staff and are very inacurate when using it. For a guarunteed kill, us your
knuckle plate vibroblade on them. One hit kills them. But beware, they are very
hard to keep track of.

b. Elite Warrior Caste

Annoying little buggars, these are the strongest form of geos, and are always in
the air. Once theve spotted you, they try to burn the living daylights out of you
with their elite beam weapon. It is extremely hard to beat one of them, let alone
more than one, because they are constantly dodging what ever you throw at them. I
cant really say much on how to beat them, but I can tell you that the trando heavy
repeater works really well, if you have one.

c. Larva Hatchlings

Also known as baby geos, their eggs are usually located close by. Enabling you to
watch them hatch. As far as their threat level goes, they ARE the weakest enemies
in the game. When they hatch, they immediatly begin spitting some type of acid on
you. Just try to avoid their eggs all together, and your problems will stay at the
minimum.

-----------------------
iii. Trandoshans
-----------------------

a. Slavers (or Berserkers)

The slavers are the shortest form of trando there is, but they carry one of the
most useful weapons there is. And i`m not talking about their annoying
vibroknives, It is the shotgun they carry that can be very deadly, especially to
trandoes. If you can, make use of your DC-17, or your sidearm to kill these
beasts. So you can take their shotgun and mop up the rest of them. they also have
the keen abilty to throw detonaters back at you so watch out.

b. Mercenaries

Individually not very deadly, the mercs have little accuracy and are easy to
dispose of. Dont let that little bit of an advantage count them out completely,
because when they are in packs, and you dont have any flashbug dets on you, it may
turn out to be a serious problem. Luckely, most are equiped with the weak trando
SMG however, a select few of them carry a concussion rifle. If you can, sneak up
behind them and melee their fuel packs. It sends them flying.

c. Elites

The elites are the rarest and most deadly form of trando there is. Equiped with a
heavy repeater, these trandoes are no laughing matter. their main weakness is
their inability to take close range shotgun blasts to the head. It cant shoot you
if you are too close up but it can melee you, so be careful. Even though their
weapons are extremely powerful, I wouldnt recomend picking one up because of it`s
bad accuracy and it`s extremely long reload time.

-------------
iv. Other
-------------

a. Auto turrets

They can be your best friend, or your worst nightmare. They can cover you when
facing enemies, or they can cover you with carbon scoring (blaster fire). Can you
guess what they are?.... well of course you can its on the title! If in the wrong
hands, auto turrets will rip right through your squad. But they do have a
weakness. They cant follow you if you go directly under them. My recommendations
are to take out you sidearm and get directly under it it shoot the bottom a couple
of times. It WILL explode. But sometimes you can use a computer panel to turn them
into an ally.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Section 6: Allies
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------------
i. Clones
-------------

Even though you almost never see them, they tend to help you out from time to time
whether its destroying a shielded door with an assult aircraft, helping cover your
back on a nearly deserted and abandoned republic assult ship, or coming to your
rescue and helping you destroy an enemy space station. The advisor to everything
you do is an ordinary clone!

-------------------
ii. Wookiees
-------------------

Very useful and extremely durable, wookiees help out alot on Kashyyyk. But heres
just a fair warning, dont mistakenly shoot them. Your squad, and every other
wookiee on Kashyyyk will turn on you and you will make the game unwinable. The
only wookiee you really have to worry about is Tarfal, and keeping him alive. You
will need to save two wookiee pilots, but that is much easier.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Section 7: Locations
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------
i. Kamino
--------------

You are only on this world for about 2 minutes (excluding boss`s life up to that
point.) The only thing you can really do here is listen to the kaminoans and move
your head around a bit. After that you go to Geonosis, where the game really starts.

------------------
ii. Geonosis
------------------

Geonosis is pretty much your training ground since you hardly do anything on
Kamino. There you learn basic squad commands, weapon controls, HUD icons ect. Just
a fair warning: Be prepared because every new area you get into is a bit harder
than the previous one before it. The only enemies here are droids and Geonosians.

-----------------------------------
iii. Republic Assult Ship
-----------------------------------

For the most part, you are alone, but near the end, when you rendezvous with
Fixer, things start to get pretty tough. This is the place where the Trandoes are
introduced; Green alien slavers that are basicly made to annoy you. Geonosis was
your training groung basicly, now that your in the assult ship, you are expected
to master everthing from weapons to turrets, even squad commands should be a piece
of cake by now.

-------------------
iv. Kashyyyk
-------------------

The final battlefront. Where the wookiees are spread everywhere, giving you
somewhat of an advantage. Please note that the game designers made the wookiees
much bigger than they should be. This planets also introduces the Grievous MagnaGuard.
Sadly enough, the Trandoes were not wiped out on the assult ship, Kashyyyk is full
of them. And it has endless passages filled with droids and Geos.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Section 8: Danger Zones
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My advice is, if you see a way off the edge of something STAY AWAY. Design flaws
have made it so you can actually jump off railing and down to the depths below. In
most cases, you wont die, you will just be standing there on an invisible wall at
the bottom. And there is no way to get back out. This may get a few of you to try
it, but if you do, dont just come out of battle and jump, save before you jump!

What can I say? One liners make the game fun to play.... hey i rhimed!
[Quotes derived from Wikipedia the free encyclopedia]

-----------
i. Boss
-----------

"Alone against all these droids....? Hmph. They don't stand a chance."

"You lizards need to learn I'm a lot scarier than you are."

"This 'deluxe model' is the only thing standing between you and a bloody death, so
you'd best be showing some respect, trooper."

*While looking at a lightsaber* "An elegant weapon for more civilized times, eh?
Well, guess what - Times have changed.”

"I wish they'd stop doing that."

"Just get us inside without killing the squad, ok Scorch?"

----------
ii. Sev
----------

"That's what I'm talking about. It's a power generator, in the middle of a TREE.
Strange."

"I love that crunchy sound they make when they die."

"Does anyone else find this planet a little...strange?"

"I think it! I see it! A Trade Federation battle ship!" (Scorch: Yeah, not even
you can see into hyperspace, Sev.) "No, it's on the edge of the system. Take a
look..." *ship jumps into system* (Scorch: Oh blast...)

"No one steals a ship from the Republic when we're around."

"Damn! I don't believe it!" (Delta 62: "What's wrong, Sev?") "I've lost count of
my kills!"

"That Merc couldn't hit the broad side of an Assault Ship"
---------------
iii. Scorch
---------------

"Hey, we're all clones. Why am I the only one with a sense of humor?"

"Sev! How many kills you got today, psycho?" (Delta 07: "More than you,
wiseguy.")(Fixer: "Keep this comm clear, you two.") "Calm down, Fixer, just having
a little fun."

"I wonder what the weather's like on Kamino right now."

(After kicking a dead hostile) "Hey Sev, this one looks like your mother."

(Sev: Look at the size of that thing.)(Fixer :There's the core ship sir.) "Are you
sure, Forty? I mean, maybe there's another one around the corner."

"Assisting Seven... again..."

(Fixer: "Unmanned gunnery against a battle cruiser?")(Boss: "We can give 'em a
black eye at least") "We'll make 'em regret the day they blew up Delta Squad!"

(Clone Advisor: I'm picking up a big reading.) "I hope it's not an Spider
Droid..." (elevator opens) (Sev: Guess what? Its a Spider Droid.)

"We're gonna need to blast through these rocks, and I'm not just sayin' that
because I love to blow stuff up." (Sev: Yes you are.)

------------
iv. Fixer
------------
"38, maybe you should let 62 handle the explosives."
"They just don't learn."
"With all due respect, Sir, you're in my way."
"String 'em along and we'll mop 'em up."
"Watch the Master at work."
"Six-Two, could you cut the chatter until you've got something useful to say?"

i. Cheat Codes
----------------------

I do not encourage cheating, however if you are stuck and can not get past a part,
then by all means, cheat!

Invulnerability: Y, Y, Left Trigger, Up, X, Black Button, X, Y

Restore Ammunition: Y, Y, X, Down, Right Trigger, Left Trigger, Right Trigger, Up

-------------------------
ii. Did you know?
-------------------------

... That Rapheal Sbarge, the voice of Scorch, also voiced Carth Onasi on Knights
of the old republic?

... That a lightsaber can be found laying beside a dead clone on the Republic
Assult Ship?

... That if you use Invulnerability as soon as you set foot on Geonosis, you will
make the game unwinable?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Boss mounts the turret and in unison, Delta Squad hits and destroys critical
parts of the droid warship*

*Finally the warship explodes with a blinding light that sends echoes all over
Kashyyyk*

"Boss ive got a problem!"said Sev

"SEV! Where are you?!?!" shouted Boss

"Multiple Hostiles...."*static*

"Lost his signal boss..." Fixer said

"Well find it again dammit! Squad, regroup, were going after Sev!"

"Negative! Squad leader" said the advisor "Your orders came clear; from the jedi
generals! Evac now!"

"I dont care if they came from Master Yoda himself!"

"As a matter of fact they did soldier so get your men under control!"

"Hes right sir" said Fixer

"Boss! We have to go back...."

To see the rest of the ending you`re gonna have to play it through! Trust me, its
