Chapter 1 Introduction (another guide by Mr. Mopsy)

1.1 The Story
   Tanner, a ruthless undercover cop and a fearless driver, is immersed in a global
car theft ring. A mysterious buyer has ordered 40 stolen high performance cars.
Tanner wants to know who the buyer is, and he intends to stop the deal from going
through; but he is always one step away from his cover being blown, and his time is
running out.

  Tanner, an undercover cop A.K.A 'The Driver'. Obsessive risk taker, with brutal
methods, accustomed to highly dangerous undercover work. Frequent tendency to ignore
and override authority.

A2. Tobias Jones
   Jones, police detective, Tanner?s partner. Cool, clam, and confident, accustomed
to working with Tanner, admiring and repelled by his measures in equal measure; Jones
is more restrained, but no less dedicated.

A3. Catlina
   Catlina, head of ?South Beach?, a notorious Miami based car theft outfit. She is
cold, effect, and ambitious. They say she once killed her own crew members in a
hostage standoff, no one has crossed her since.

A4. Baccus
   Baccus, A.K.A ?South Beach Baccus?, know as a driver for the Miami car theft ring.
Police files show him to be delusional and violent. Tanner doesn?t trust him, but
then neither does South Beach anymore.

A5. Jericho 
   Jericho, a former lieutenant to Solomon Caine, a gangster with an empire
stretching from Chicago to Vegas. Unpredictable and unflappable, his ruthlessness is
only matched by Tanner, the man who is trying to stop him.

B1. 9mm Auto
Your standard gun available right from the start. Never runs out of ammo.

Black version of your standard 9mm.This one slightly more powerful. Runs out of ammo.

B3. 9mm Auto (Silenced) 
Same as black 9mm but with the silencer added. Runs out of ammo.

A long distance weapon.

B5. Small Uzi
Highly effective medium to short range weapon.

B6. Large Uzi
Much more powerful than the small Uzi and is great for spraying enemies.

B7. Assault Rifle 
Perfect for long range sniping also good for taking down lots of enemies.

B8. Grenade Launcher
Must be reloaded after every shot. Nothing will survive a blast from this.

3.11: Police HQ
Degree of Difficulty: 1 
Timed: No and Yes(Firing rang is timed)

When the mission begins you should run out of the front door and head to your garage
and hop into your car. Now press start and look at the destination.Drive
to the police station with the route planned. When you arrive simply exit your car
and walk in through the front door. Go on in to the Firing range.Just shoot all of the red targets that pop out. Every time you shoot a blue
target it will cost you. Get to the final door and the mission is complete.

4.1 Miami Cars

4.11 TT Cautro
It is hidden in a garage at the end of the road on Star Island. On the bridge you
will see a little island with just one little road going in. The garage with the car
in it is at the very end of the island.

4.12 Velocity Turbo 
It is found in Tico's Construction Yard parked between two warehouses.
________________________________________________________________________

4.13 Go-Kart
Go to Coral Gables and at the huge hotel head right along a path. In the bushes and
you will discover a tunnel that leads to a different area. Go along the tunnel until
you find a room with Timmy in it. Once you have killed him, activate the yellow
flashing switch and then proceed through the next door and go down the stairs. Now
head through the newly unlocked tunnel and you'll come out by the Go-Kart track. Head
to the Pit Stop area and you will find it parked in the lane.

Type the buttons in on the Main Menu. Go to option find cheats and select it. Turn
the cheats on or off(the ones you activate).

7.11 Ghost Town-(Thanks to Eldorito)

Start in Downtown Miami start point drive north on the road you start on. Go north
until it dead ends and turn left (west) Just before the road turn into the divided
expressway there is a grassy area to the right of the on ramp. In this area is a
short fence with some bushes behind it. It is possible to jump over this fence here
by standing on top of a van (stand on a car to jump on to the van's roof) Once over
this fence wander to the right(east) until you find the spot where you fall below the
map and then walk to the "L" in Little Havana approach it from the north. You will
find a ghost town of sorts with a few cars and buildings.

7.31 Get in The Tram (Not really a glitch)

Go to Istanbul and find the tram with open doors. When it stops or whenever jump into
the door. Fight the tram to stay on. If you don?t do anything after a few turns you
will end up on the roof.
