Finished first two episodes and added various files and charcter bios. I. - Story -------------------------------------------------------------------- Chris Redfield, one of the protagonists of Resident Evil, is sent to investigate a scene with a supposed bioterrorist threat. After his signal is lost, Jill Valentine and her partner Parker Luciani are sent in to search for him. Tracing his signal, both end up approaching a ghost ship, the Queen Zenobia. From their tugboat, both get on the ship and start their search. II. - Characters -------------------------------------------------------------------- All characters are more or less divided into two organisations. The following information is taken more or less from the game manual: Name: BSAA Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance, an NGO established by the Global Pharmaceutical Consortium against the global bioweapon threat after Umbrellas's downfall. Acts as an observer in the operations of various nations in the event of bioweapon emergencies. Name: JILL VALENTINE Survivor of Raccoon City and one of the founding members of the BSAA. Infiltrates the ghost ship along with Parker after learning of Chris' disappearance. Name: PARKER LUCIANI An Italian with roots in England who serves as Jill's partner on this assignment. RUmour has it he made his mark in another organization before joining the BSAA. Name: CLIVE R. O'BRIEN Current BSAA commander. Skilled at bringing together the rouges gallery that is the BSAA. Appears to have a close connection of some sort with Commissioner Morgan of the FBC. Name: CHRIS REDFIELD One of the founding members of the BSAA. Jill's brother in arms ever since the Mansion incident. His disappearance is where the story begins. Name: JESSICA SHERAWAT BSAA agent whi may look fashionable, but actually exhibits impressive combat prowess. Her marksmanship rivals the best of the best. Name: KEITH LUMLEY (N/A) Name: QUINT GETCHAM (N/A) Name: ederal Bioterrorism Commission, an organization secretly founded by a certain major nation to combat terrorism. Its actions never become public, as they are concealed under the tightest possible secrecy. Does not look favourably upon the BSAA's interference, especially considering it is an NGO. Name: MORGAN LANSDALE FBC COmmissioner. Butts heads at every turn with the BSAA with his characteristically aggressive manner. Name: RAYMOND VESTER One of FBC's top agents. Reportedly an acqaintance of Parker and Jessica. Name: RACHEL (N/A) Name: VELTRO Bioterrorist group behind the Terragria incident, the incident that rocked the world. The group is represented by a masked terrorist. III. - Enemies -------------------------------------------------------------------- (N/A) Normal enemies: -------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: OOZE The first and most basic enemy that you face. It usually moves slowly and occurs in variations. Strategy: Depends on the variation. Usually many handgun bullets will do the work. Some should be faced with explosive weapons. Occurence: Various places throughout the game. Name: CARCASSE Slow moving bio mass that tries to attack you with its mouth. Strategy: Any gun will do the job. Just move backwards when it tries to reach out for you. Occurence: Mediterranean Sea Coast. Name: DOG Dogs are quick and usually come in hordes. They can easily be taken out from distance, yet pose a threat when being very close. Strategy: Any gun will do the job. Occurence: Various places throughout the game. Name: FARFARELLO Well hunters. Strategy: Occurence: Terragrigia building. Boss enemies: -------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: (N/A) (N/A) Fighting strategy: (N/A) Occurence: (N/A) Name: (N/A) (N/A) Fighting strategy: (N/A) Occurence: (N/A) IV. - Items -------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. - Weapons -------------------------------------------------------------------- This game includes weapons and subweapons. While weapons are used by using the standard Resident Evil button combination, subweapons are triggered by another subweapon button. Subweapons: -------------------------------------------------------------------- KNIFE ----- Found: The knife is in your inventory from the start of the game. Select it in your subweapon menu in order to use it. Effect: Your last resort in case you run out of bullets. HAND GRENADE ------------ Found: Hand grenades can easily be found in various areas of the game. Effect: Causes an explosion with a decent action radius. B.O.W: DECOY ------------ Found: B.O.W. decoys are easily found in various places throughout the game. Effect: Lures enemies to the spot they are thrown at and exploder after a small amount of time. Purpose: Unlocks two doors on the Queen Zenobia. Item: HELM KEY Found: 3-2, Queen Zenobia, bridge area. Purpose: Unlocks all metal doors with anchor. Item: CREST Found: 3-2, Queen Zenobia, brdige area. Contents: General infrmation on the Queen Zenobia. 5. - Other Items -------------------------------------------------------------------- Item: GENESIS (CAMPAIGN) SUPPLY SCANNER (DEMO VERSION) Found: Automatically in your inventory after the start on the Mediterranean Sea Coast. (CAMPAIGN) On the ship, in the small room accessible from the dining room. (DEMO VERSION) Purpose: Used like a weapon to scan environments for items. Getting it to 100 % will have you be rewarded with a GREEN HERB. Item: CUSTOM PARTS Found: Various places throughout the game. Purpose: 3DS Spotpass ability enables support for 3DS contacts. Item: (N/A) Found: (N/A) Purpose: (N/A) V. - Campaign -------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------- Before I start: You should be familiar with the controls of the game. I will not go into such details. Since the game has three different difficulty settings, I will use a parenthesis every time an item is different in one of the settings. This only applies to Normal and Hell difficulties. This guide does NOT COVER the Casual difficulty in any way. The system works like this: ITEM A = Item A in Normal and Hell Mode is identical. ITEM A (ITEM B) = Item A in Normal and Item B in Hell Modes. ITEM A (-) = Item A is only available in Normal Mode. (ITEM A) = No item in Normal Mode. Item A in Hell Mode. Text = Walkthrough applies uniformly to Normal and Hell Modes. (Text) = Walkthrough refers exclusively to Hell Mode. Normal Mode is obviosuly the default setting for this walkthrough. If an item appears within brackets then it only applies to the Hell Mode as well. -------------------------------------------------------------------- | V.I. - EPISODE 1: INTO THE DEPTHS | -------------------------------------------------------------------- Scene 1 - Queen Zenobia Part 1 -------------------------------------------------------------------- After witnessing the intro you will finally gain control of your character. Your objective is: SEARCH FOR CHRIS Walk up ahead and ascend the stairs. Move forward and past the ringing bell. Use your knife or shoot the lock to get access to the next room. Keep moving forward and enter the door with the green led. Follow the path through a corridor, another room and yet another corridor. You will come accross an intersection, head left and around the next corner and go straight ahead until you reach a few lockers. Open the right one for a GREEN HERB. Turn around and enter the door besides yout to reach a restaurant. The locker contains HANDGUN AMMO x 10. Follow the path and enter the kitchen via another door with a green led. Go ahead and examine the shutter on the floor to trigger the first cutscene. You will be attacked by your first Ooze enemy. Shoot it down to watch another cutscene. This will end the first and small part of this episode. Scene 2 - Mediterranean Sea Coast -------------------------------------------------------------------- After yet another introductory scene you will again gain control of your character. Your objective is: INVESTIGATE CORPSE Drop down and scan the carcasses around O' Brien. The one behind him will lead to another cutscene with Jill retrieving a sample. Search around while scanning the various carcasses. They are hanging from flagpoles, are hidden behind dropped signs, are on boats or simply lay on the ground. While scanning around you will come accross: HANDGUN AMMO x10, HANDGUN AMMO x 10, HANDGUN AMMO x 10 and a GREEN HERB at the tunnel entrance. Scan the carcasse near the small tunnel and shoot it down after it starts chasing you. Go through the tunnel and keep scanning some more carcasses. Scan the FBC box for your first HANDPRINT and collect the HANDGUN AMMO x 10 and go back to JOIN UP WITH O' BRIEN. On your way back, another carcasse will attack. Dispose of it and talk to O' Brien to finish this part. Scene 3 - Queen Zenobia Part 2 -------------------------------------------------------------------- Objective: SEARCH FOR CHRIS The cutscene will reveal that the other door is now unlocked. Before you leave, scan the place to find HANDGUN AMMO x5, HANDGUN AMMO x 15, HANDGUN AMMO x 5 and HANDGUN AMMO x 5. Here you can go all the back to the start of the game and collect a few items by scanning. That includes a HANDPRINT and HANDGUN AMMO x 5 in the kitchen, HANDGUN AMMO x 5 in the storage room where you first saw the Ooze and back outside where you entered the ship with yet another HANDGUN AMM x 5. Go back to the starting point and leave the room and follow the next corridor up to the intersection. You can investigate the door straight ahead for a cutscene. Either way go right to reach the staircase. Scan downstairs to find a GREEN HERB. Ascend the stairs to find another GREEN HERB. Follow the corridor into a cabin with beds. Scanning before entering will reveal HANDGUN AMMO x 5 and HANDGUN AMMO x 5. Scan the place to find HANDGUN AMMO x 5. Progressing into the shower room, an Ooze enemy will attack. Kill it and scan the boxes for some HANDGUN AMMO x 5. There is also some HANDGUN AMMO x 5 on that cupboard. Use the door to reach the other part of the corridor. Follow the path to reach some stairs. Descend the stairs and move forward to see a cutscene with Rachel, from the FBC, getting killed by two Oozes. There is HANDGUN AMMO x 10 in the locker on the right.TFollow the corridor and enter that room. Kill both Oozes in order to trigger a cutscene with your partner Parker. Scan the room to find HANDGUN AMMO x 5, HANDGUN AMMO x 5 and a HANDPRINT. Scanning Rachels will reveal the CREW QUARTERS AREA KEY and another cutscene. HANDGUN AMMO x 15 is on the desk. Obkjective: GO TO THE ROOM CHRIS WAS IN Make your way back to the intersection. On your way back an Ooze will drop from the ventilation shaft. Dispose of it and move forward. Once upstairs there is a room on your left which you can unlock with your newly obtained key. This is optional though. It has an Ooze enemy, coming out of a washing machine,HANDGUN AMMO x 15, HAND GRENADE and HANDGUN AMMO x 5, HANDGUN AMMO x 5 and yet another HAND GRENADE. In the shower room cabin you will immediately be greeted by another Ooze. Progressing into the shower will reveal another one leaving the cabin yet another one. Back at the intersection you will meet your partner again. Enter the locked door to trigger a cutscene and finish this first episode. -------------------------------------------------------------------- | V.II. - EPISODE 2: DOUBLE MYSTERY | -------------------------------------------------------------------- Scene 1 - Mountains in Europe -------------------------------------------------------------------- Watch the cutscene and follow the path until you see the plane crashing. You can also trun around and go back a bit and scan the pace for some SHOTGUN SHELLS x 3. Objective: HEAD FOR THE CRASH SITE Just keep going. You will eventually have to drop down to reach the site. Objective: SEARCH THE CRASH SITE Scan the site to reveal HANDGUN AMMO x 10, HANDGUN AMMO x 10 and SHOTGUN SHELLS x 3. Open the storage box with the Biohazard symbol to reveal a carcasse. Scan it and proceed to the cockpit of the plane. open the door to have a pilot corpse drom out. Scan the corpse to reveal the FLIGHT PLAN and the cockpit for another HANDPRINT. Objective: GO THROUGH THE MINE Smash the boxes to obtain HANDGUN AMMO x 5, GREEN HERB and HANDGUN AMMO x 10. Follow the path and use your partner to rais the shutter. In the next section just keep moving forward again until you reach a cave and get attacked by dogs for the first time. Kill all three of them and scan the place for SHOTGUN SHELLS x 3. Proceed to the tunnel and get the HANDGUN AMMO x 5 from the box. Another dog awaits a bit further. Dispose of it and get the SHOTGUN SHELLS x 3 and HANDGUN AMMO x 10 from next to it. Proceed left and kill another three dogs. Jump over the hole to reach a crate with B.O.W. DECOY x 1, B.O.W. DECOY x 1 and HANDGUN AMMO x 10. Move forward and drop down to another cave. You will face a horde of 10 dogs. Kill them and scan the cave for B.O.W. DECOY x 1. There is also another B.O.W DECOY x 1, HANDGUN AMMO x 10, SHOTGUN SHELLS x 3 and a GREEN HERB as well. Move forward until you reach a bunch of crates. Smash them for B.O.W DECOY x 1, B.O.W DECOY x 1, HANDGUN AMMO x 20 and a GREEN HERB. There is some HANDGUN AMMO x 15 up further as well. Proceed to trigger another cutscene. Chris will now have to fight hordes of dogs while not being able to move. Objective: WAIT FOR JESSICA Try to hold off the dogs as much as possible. When many of them have gathered use one of your decoys to get rid of them. After a while Jessica will drop down and help you out. Objective: GO THROUGH THE MINE Leave the cave via the nearby ladder. Press forward until you reach another shutter. Open it with your partner and move forward to trigger a cutscene and finish the part. Scene 2 - Queen Zenobia Part 3 -------------------------------------------------------------------- YOur will wake up with all your weapons taken away from you and will immedtiately receive a radio call from your partner. Objective: ESCAPE THE ROOM Push away the drawer to gain access to the bahtroom. Investigate the toilet to get the SCREWDRIVER. Take the GREEN HERB from the next to the door and leave. An Ooze will attack you. try to dodge its attack in order to have it smash into the tv set. If you fail, you should restart. Investigate the panel with yout touch screen. Touch the screws to reveal the inside of the panel: |-------------------------------| | | | O 1 O | | | | O O 2 | | | | 3 4 O | | | |-------------------------------| Move 3 up. Move 4 right. Move 3 left, then . Move 4 up. Objective: JOIN UP WITH PARKER You should leave the room immediately since the Ooze will free itself from the tv. Outside quickly take the HANDGUN AMMO x 10 from the drawer and hed right. Dodge the Ooze and enter the next room. Head left and enter the door. Follow the corridor and wait for the Ooze to pass by. Go right and enter the door, just run past the emerging Ooze. Just follow the corridor into the next room. Enter the room and head right in order to avoid the sucking Ooze from the ground. Quickly push away the drawer and leave the room. Head downstairs to reunite with your partner Parker. Objective: RETRIEVE WEAPONS Follow Parker into the next room. Approach him and he will give you B.O.W. DECOY x 3. Enter the room and keep right in order to avoid the Oozes. In the next room just try to lure as many Oozes as possible near a spot and use one of your decoys. In the next room you can pick up HANDGUN AMMO x 10 and CUSTOM PARTS (DAMAGE 1). Use your partner to break down the door and retrieve your stolen equipment. You are now again in possession of your weapons. You will come accross your first weapons box. Use it if you want to upgrade one of your weapons, which you should as much as possible. Objective: HEAD FOR THE BRIDGE You can go ahead and visit the room Parker was stuck in. You scan the room for a HAND GRENADE. Leave room and scan teh corridor around the corner for a GREEN HERB. Head back into the library. Kill the Oozes or not but scan the broken clock for HANDGUNA MMO x 5. Procced into the next library and immediately throw a grenade at ahead to hit both Oozes. head right and examine the BOTANY PLANTS WITH MEDICINAL PROPERTIES - 3RD EDITION for some information on your herbs. Back in the next room scan the drawer fr CUSTOM PARTS. Back in the dining room kill the Ooze and grab the HANDGUN AMMO x 15 and HANDGUN AMMO x 15. Go upstairs and scan the shelf for a HAND GRENADE. Get into the room with the vases. Kill the first Ooze and scan the pool of blood for HANDGUN AMMO x 5. On your way out another Ooze will drop from the ceiling. Proceed into the corridor and scan the cupboard around the corner for HANDGUN AMO x 5. Go left at the intersection and visit the room with open middle to face two other Ooze enemies. Head left for the toilet room and grab the GREEN HERB at the end of the room. An Ooze will come out of one of the toilets. Leave and use the door on the opposite side. You can visit the room you were stuck in for another HANDPRINT in the bathroom. Either way get rid of the chain on the other door and proceed. Enter and grad the HANDGUN AMMO x 10 from the drawer. Head right for the elevator and use it and go up to the Brdige level. Go ahead and enter the room with various lockers. Scan the boxes on the left to obtain HANDGUN AMMO x 5. Open the lockers to find a GREEN HERB and SHOTGUN SHELLS x 8. Now go ahead and enter thr bridge. Scan the fornt windows for another HANDPRINT and pick up the HANDGUN AMMO CASE from the controls. Scan the pipes in the corner for another HAND GRENADE. Check the controls to trigger a cutscene and finish this episode. -------------------------------------------------------------------- | V.II. - EPISODE 3: GHOSTS OF VELTRO | -------------------------------------------------------------------- Scene 1 - Terragrigia Building -------------------------------------------------------------------- After a cutscene you will now be in control of Parker as a member of the FBC. Your commander will stark conversations and tell you to leave. Take every item you can find, that is a GREEN HERB, HANDGUN AMMO x 10, HAND GRENADE, MACHINE GUN AMMO x 30 and MACHINE GUN AMMO x 30 on the left and MACHINE GUNA MMO x 30 and HANDGUN AMMO x 10 and MACHINE GUN AMMO x 30 on the right. You may listen or not to the conversations. Objective: KILL ALL ENEMIES IN HALL Leave this room via the double doors. Grab the GREEN HERB from the left and slowly go downstairs to face various Farfarellos. If you search the place you can come across a GREEN HERB, MACHINE GUN AMMO x 30, and HANDGUN AMMO x 10. You have to use the stairs on the right and proceed into the corridor to reach the elevator. Enter the elevator and use it. Objective: HEAD FOR THE OTHER ELEVATOR Head left and enter the door to face another Farfarello. Kill it and take the MACHINE GUN AMMO x 30 from the table. Proceed into the next room and go ahead the corridor and pick up the MACHINE GUN AMMO x 30 and MACHINE GUN AMMO x 30 from the ground. Another Farfarellos is around the corner. Shoot it and take the SHOTGUN SHELLS x 8 from the boxes. Two more Farfarellos will attack. Kill them and enter the room besides your position. Kill the Farfarello inside and take the MACHINE GUN AMMO x 30 from the chair. Proceed via the next door into another corridor. Hea left and enter a small room to pick some weaponry. You will find a GREEN HERB, SHOTGUN SHELLS x 8, SHOTGUN SHELLS x 8, HAND GRENADE and another HAND GRENADE. You can also take a look at the FBC'S CHARTER on the table. On your way another Farfarello will greet you from your right. Respond to the greeting and go to the other end of the corridor to find the SHOTGUN M3. After you take it two more Farfarellos will jump in from behind the boxes. Kill them and proceed into the next room. Pick up the GREEN HERB and search the lockers for a HAND GRENADE, HANDGUN AMMO x 10 and MACHINE GUN AMMO x 30. Go into the next room and kill another Farfarello. Proceed to face two more. You will eventually reach the metal door at the end. Enter and ascend the stairs to the 6th floor while picking up the GREEN HERB. Do not mind the Farfarellos trying to break in. On the 6th floor get around the corners to find a HAND GRENADE and MACHINE GUN AMMO x 30. Enter the big hall with computers. You can easily recognize the three Farfarellos guarding this room from their steps. Dispose of them. You will come across a GREEN HERB, HANDGUN AMMO x 10, HANDGUN AMMO x 10 and SHOTGUN SHELLS x 8. In the next corridor just go right to trigger a sequence. In the next part take the MACHINE GUN AMMO x 30 and the HAND GRENADE from the boxes and enter the hall. There is a GREEN HERB, MACHINE GUN AMMO x 30, MACHINE GUN AMMO x 30, HANDGUN AMMO x 10, SHOTGUN SHELLS x 8 and SHOTGUN SHELLS x 8. Try to call the elevator. Get into a save corner and start shooting the various waves of Farafarellos coming at you. You will have to face them until the elevator is ready. Once it is ready, get into it and operate it. Objective: HEAD FOR THE HELIPORT Just go ahead and leave the corridor via the door. On the heliport just move forward to finish this scene. Scene 2 - Queen Zenobia Part 4 -------------------------------------------------------------------- Objective: SEARCH THE BRIDGE Head downstairs and use the door. Enter the room to find SHOTGUN SHELLS x 5, CUSTOM PARTS, HANDGUN AMMO x 10, B.O.W. DECOY x 1, B.O.W. DECOY x 1 and most importantly the HELM KEY. Leave this room and visit the room on the opposite side of the corridor. Unlock it with your newly acquired key and enter it to find a DISCARDED MESSAGE, UPPER INTERIOR MAP, the HISTORY OF THE QUEEN ZENOBIA, HANDGUN AMMO x 15 and the CREST. Examine the corpse on the chair and scan it for SHOTGUN SHELLS x 3. Leave the room. Walkthrough -------------------------------------------------------------------- After witnessing the introductory scenes, your character will awake inside a ship cabin. You will immeditaley be contacted via radio by your partner Parker. After the contact is over, you will finally gain full control of your Jill. use the door to your right to enter a bathroom. (Take the HAND GRENADE next to the door). Investigate the bathtub and have the water drained. Pickup the SCREWDRIVER. Leave the bathroom and fight the first ooze enemy that comes out of the cupboard. (The ooze enemy is a stronger variation, use your found hand grenade to get rid of it.) Kill it and take the HANDGUN AMMO x 5 from inside the cupboard. Go besides the other door and investigate the panel next to the door. Jill will automatically use the SCREWDRIVER and will trigger a screen on the touch screen. Just touch the four screw to unscrew threm. You will get a sreen with a bunch of electric fuses that will need adjustment: |-------------------------------| | | | 1 2 O | | | | 3 O 4 | | | | O O O | | | |-------------------------------| Move 2 one down. Move 1 to the right. This will open the door to a corridor with a small storage room ahead. (Another ooze enemy is in this corridor). Go ahead and pick up a GREEN HERB (-) and the SOTGUN WINDHAM in the small storage room. leave the room and head right into the corridor and go straight ahead to enter the library. Go around the bookshelves to fight anoter ooze. (Around the next corner is another ooze enemy, this one is explosive.) The corner contains SHOTGUN SHELLS x 2 (-). Use the nearby door to enther another library room. (Shoot the one ooze to have it explode, time your shot to kill the other as well. If you fail it is a touch shot, you will have to run. Take the SHOTGUN SHELLS x 3 if possible from the shelf in the middle of the room.) Head right to find another GREEN HERB (-) on the desk. Use the door. You will be in another corridor. (Another ooze enemy will already be around the corner, kill it and take the GREEN HERB from the ground and proceed.) Go ahead and take the HANDGUN BULLETS x 10 and head left. Step forward cautiously as two ooze enemies will drop from the ceiling. (No other enemies will drop from the ceiling.) Dispose of them and proceed with the door behind their dropping spot. You will reach a dining room with numerous tables. Check the one nearby to find HANDGUN BULLETS x 5 (-). (Go a bit further to find the MACHINE GUN MP5.) Head up the stairs on the right and enter the door with the grey metal plating. Take the SUPPLY SCANNER and scan the the room to find SHOTGUN SHELLS x 3 (-), GREEN HERB (-) and CUSTOM PARTS (-). (There is some MACHINE GUN AMMO x 30 on the chair in the corner.) Leave the room and face another ooze from below one of the tables. (There will be ooze enemies emerging from below the table and two instantly coming at you from the top floor. Take care of the two top ones at first.) Kill it and scan the room for HANDGUN BULLETS x 10 (GREEN HERB) and HANDGUN BULLETS x 10 (MACHINE GUN AMMO x 40) on seperate tables. (If you scan around some more you will find another SHOTGUN SHELLS x 5 in the previous room.) Go upstairs and into the small corridor to get a HAND GRENADE (HANDGUN AMMO x 10) and SHOTGUN SHELLS x 3 (MACHINE GUN AMMO x 40). Scan the place to find another HAND GRENADE. Enther the nearby door. You will be greeted by three ooze enemies. Watch out for the one on the right. It explodes. Quickly toss a grenade into its direction and take care of the rest. Scan the body to find a HAND GRENADE. (Scan the vases to find SHOTGUN SHELLS x 3 and MACHINE GUN AMMO x 40. Upon entering the next room and proceeding at the corner, an ooze will appear behind you, quickly backtrack to the door before it is ready.) Proceed into the next corridor and scan to find yet another HAND GRENADE (-). Use another grenade on the ooze around the corner. Scan the cupboard to find SHOTGUN SHELLS x 2 (MACHINE GUN AMMO x 30). (The cupboard has some more MACHINE GUN AMMO x 7. Be careful when you try to open the elevator. It has three ooze enemies!) Use the elevator and operate the panel to ascend. Above you will meet your partner Parker again. Proceed into the next room and scan the place for CUSTOM PARTS. The lockers contain HANDGUN AMMO x 10 and a GREEN HERB. Proceed to the next corridor until you reach the bridge. Go to your partner Parker to trigger a cutscene.
