Although I'm recycling my SSF4 FAQ, I'm gonna put more work into this one as soon as the US version is released. I did import the JP version and have the JP 3DS so for now what you see here aside from the recycled stuff is based on JP version. Much like the first very Street Fighter was the first game for the Turbo CD in the name of Fighting Street, Super Street Fighter 4 3D follows suit somewhat on the newly released Nintendo 3DS (successor to the Nintendo DS). However, it is not a pack-in game like its earliest ancestor. It is only a launch game. If you have played Super Street Fighter 4 for the PS3, XBox 360 or the recent Arcade edition, then you have an idea of what to expect from this game and then some. That's right... SSF4 3D has its own unique features. The first 6 opponents are fought at random then your 7th opponent is against a character rival then the last boss is against Seth. There is also a potential 9th match against Gouki/Akuma or Gouken depending on how you met certain conditions. o--------------------o MODES o--------------------o This is based on the Japanese version Main Menu for now. Arcade Versus 3D Versus Internet Mpde Challenge Training Player Data Figure Collection Option o--------------------o ADDED FEATURES o--------------------o You can program 4 moves on the touch pad screeen to instantly do a move while using Simple Mode. For the the advanced players, you can still use the touch pads to perform set macros so you can program a super move with set motions in the macros. The ability to play in over the shoulder view and set it into 3D mode. It is labeled as 3D versus Download Play - you can download the game without a cartridge from someone wuth a cartridge and play. 2 players can fight each other like that but can only use Ryu. Figure Collection gives you the option to collect trophies and battle local players with them. There won't be a language option in this one. You are either gonna play the game in English or Japanese depending on the region. Sorry!! Network Mode loses Team Battle, Endless Battle, Tournament and Replay Channel. The 10 colors for each charcter available at start. o--------------------o MOVELIST o--------------------o Each character has a set of special moves in addition to the normal attacks given to them. They are executed by moving the joystick in a certain sequence and pressing the appropiate attack button. Flying Sumo Press: Jump foward, d + Medium Punch -Honda will do an air belly flop. Target Combo: close, Medium Punch (1st hit) then df + Hard Kick o----------------------o SPECIAL MOVES o----------------------o Hundred Hand Slap (Hyakuretsu Harite)*: Punch button rapidly -Attacks with mulithands that hit multiple times and E. Honda can move while performing this move. Sumo Headbutt (Super Zutsuki)*: b~f + Punch -E. Honda lunges forward headfirst and heabutts opponent in the gut. Sumo Smash (Super Hyakkan Otoshi)*: d~u + Kick -E. Honda leaps into the air then crashes down in a seated position and crushes the opponent. Rolling Attack*: b~f + Punch -Blanka launches himself at the opponent in a rolling ball form. Spinning Bird Kick*: b~f + Kick -Chun Li spins upsidedown and spins at the opponent for multiple hits. The EX version of it juggles opponents and knocks them away. Kikouken*: b~f + Punch -Kikouken is a fireball that can dissipate if Light one is done from too far out. EX version eats fireballs and can travel full screen. Double Lariat: All three Punch buttons simultaneously -Zangief spins around with his arms out and it has high priority and goes past fireballs. Quick Double Lariat: All three Kick buttons simulatneously -Same as above but faster and ends quicker. Atomic Suplex*: close, 360 + Kick -Zangief grabs opponent and does a Double German suplex. Flying Powerbomb*: afar, 360 + Kick -Zangief runs at opponent and will do a jumping powerbomb if he catches them. o----------------------o SUPER/ULTRA MOVE o----------------------o +Final Atomic Buster: 720 + Punch -Zangief does 2 German Suplexes followed by a Screw Pildriver. ++Ultimate Atomic Buster: 720 + All Punches -Zangief does some bone crushing moves that ends in him tossing up the opponent and giving them a Screw Piledriver ++Siberian Blizzard: 720 + All Kicks in air -Siberian Blizzard is an anti-air Ultra that will beat any other air attacks and that includes Dragon Punches and Flash Kicks +---------------------+ Dhalsim +---------------------+ o----------------------o THROWS o----------------------o Yoga Noogie: close, Light Punch + Light Kick Yoga Throw: close, b + Light Punch + Light Kick o----------------------o COMMAND MOVES o----------------------o Yoga Spear: in air, d + Kick -Dhalsim dives feet first at sharp angle. Yoga Mummy: in air, d + Hard Punch -Dhalsim spirals headfirsts at opponent on way down from jump. Yoga Tower: d + All Punches -Yoga Tower has Dhalsim standing tall on one extended leg and posing. o----------------------o SPECIAL MOVES o----------------------o Yoga Fire*: d, df, f + Punch -Dhalsim uses his breath to blow a fireball at opponent. The latter is more powerful. ++Tiger Cannon: (d, df, f)x2 + All Punches -Tiger Cannon is a more powerful Tiger Shot. Devil Reverse*: d~u + Punch then Punch again to attack -Flies through the air then reverses direction to punch. Vega Warp/Bison Warp: f, d, df or b, d, db + All Punches or Kicks -Appears in one of four random spots on screen but leaves him vulnerable. o----------------------o SUPER/ULTRA MOVE o----------------------o +Knee Press Nightmare: b~f, b, f + Kick -Multiple Double Knee Presses. ++Nightmare Buster: b~f, b, f + All Kicks -Psycho Crushes opponents into the corner then pummels them. ++Psycho Punisher: (d, df, f)x2 + All Kicks -Psycho Punisher is a Head Press to the ground.
