Welcome to my guide for Deadlight I hope this guide will be of assistance to
someone out there!

Please note, this guide will most likely contain some spoilers but I have done
my utmost to keep things as vague as possible for the purists among you. If 
you see any errors, have a tip or an alternate strategy for a section of the
guide please head to the contact section and flick me an email to let me know!

This walkthrough will provide players with a tool they can use to work their 
way from the beginning to the end of the game finding all of the hidden 
collectibles scattered throughout the world of Deadlight including: Health/
Stamina boosters, secret collectibles, ID Badges and handheld game consoles 
required for 100% completion. By the end of this guide, you should have 
unlocked all of the collectibles and earned all of the achievements associated
with the game. If not, a complete list of achievements as well as mini-guides
for unlocking each can be found in the respective areas of the guide below.

                   Act 1: Welcome to Seattle           [ACT100]

                   Act 1-01: Left Behind               [ACT101]

1x Diary Entry, 
3x Collectibles


After the brief introductory sequence, Head to the right and inspect the body 
here (collectible 1/3). Continue on, jump up through the window and drop down
to street level. Kick in the door here. 

Run the whole way across the room and into the door at the end.  Climb the 
ladder against the wall here.  Up top you can interact with the radio here if
you like. Afterwards, mosey on through the door and inspect the locker here 
(Collectible 2/3). Perform a running jump over the gap to the left here, climb
over the crate on the walkway and continue to the far left of the room. Climb
up the ledges here and inspect the body (Collectible 3/3). Drop back down and
push the box to the right until it falls down below. 

Make your way down the newly formed hole and jump onto the box to the left. 
From here jump across to the ledge on the left and continue into the next 
room. Crouch under the vents here and drop down to the button. Wait for the 
shadow to make its way towards you and use the switch to drop the gas tank on
his head. Jump on the tank and leap across to the platform on the left. Exit
through the door here.

Climb the ladder on the left, jump across the gap to the other ladder and use
the ledges here to climb the wall. From the top ledge, jump to the box 
suspended by the rope and from here across to the building on the left. Climb
down the ladder here and perform a running jump to grab the ladder to the left
of the screen.  Continue to the left and climb down the ladder on the outside
of the building. 

As prompted, use the ‘Y’ button to call the zombies over to you, they should
get fried by the electricity in the pool of water below you. Now jump over the
puddle and hit the switch beneath the storage container in front. There is a
first aid kit behind if needed. When ready, climb the ladder on the crate and
jump the fence to the left.  

Slide down the slope and sprint through the wall on the right to complete the
level.

                   Act 1-02: The End of the Tunnel     [ACT102]

1x Collectible


Continue down the stairs and jump the gap. Interact with the object on the 
wall here if you wish to do so. Climb down the ladder here, keeping an eye out
for a circular opening opposite. When you see the large circular area, jump
across the gap from the ladder and head inside to inspect the body here for a
collectible (Retro game 1/1). Drop down to the room below. 

Continue to the right and inspect the body sitting in the spike in the second
circular entrance at the back of the room (collectible 1/1).  Drop down and
jump the water hazard. Hit the valve on the platform to lower the water level
and when safe to do so drop down into the pool below and continue to the 
right. Jump across to the right again, hit the valve, drop down and head to
the right again. Don’t stop though as several shadows will wake up as you
pass and will catch you if you are too slow.  Climb the ladder at the end.

Do a running jump over the gap and quickly climb up as the platform on the
end will collapse. Here you will find a first aid kit if you need it. Continue
to the right and through the door to end the level.

                   Act 1-03: Welcome to Seattle        [ACT103]

3 x Collectibles


Drop down to the slope and time your jump at the bottom to leap over the 
electrified puddle.  Continue to the right and drop down the first gap.Inspect
the body (Collectible (1/3). Jump up and continue right, down the slope across
the highway and up a concrete barrier at the far right.  Continue right until
you see a power pole. Inspect the power box here (Collectible 2/3). Jump over
the chain-link fence to the right.

Drop down the ledge to the room below. As you approach the far right of the 
room the door will burst open and a shadow will grab you. Shake him off by 
mashing the indicated button. Continue inside and inspect the shopping cart
(Collectible 3/3), continue up onto the drawers at the back of the room and
jump up above to end the level.

                   Act 1-04: Outskirts                 [ACT104]
===============================================================================
1 x Diary Entry, 
3 x Collectibles, 
1 x Stamina Booster, 
Fire Axe


Drop down and grab the axe from the corpse below. Continue to the right and 
use your axe to take care of the lock on the door.  Jump up to the elevated 
platform and from here over the fence to the right.  Avoid the zombies (or 
kill if you wish) and jump onto the van on the right. From here jump up to the
ledge and then into the window above that.
 
Once inside, climb down the ladder and immediately move to the right where the
switch is. Use it to drop a car on approaching shadows and to delay their 
advance. Next, turn around and kill the zombie to the left. As you do another
will emerge from the room at the back, kill this one as well and inspect the
body (collectible 1/3). Jump onto the car here and over the zombies crowded
next to it. Continue to the right, up onto the car here and then leap to the
ladder nearby. Climb this and bash the window to the right, exit the 
warehouse. 

Drop to the ground and continue right, after a short scene plays out, continue
into the open doorway.  Continue past the ladder and inspect the locker in the
back right corner (Diary entry 1/1). Climb down the ladder.

At the bottom, kick open the door to the right and sprint jump across the
collapsing platforms to the ledges on the right side of the area. Use these 
to climb up to the ladder above. Scale that bad boy to the top. Drop down the
ladder on the right and inspect the body (collectible 2/3). Climb the ladder
again and use a running jump to get over the chain link fence on the right
side of the screen. 

Unfortunately, you will land on a car and set off its alarm which will
subsequently alert all the shadows in the area.

Here you will earn the achievement – “Welcome to the Jungle”

Sprint to the right until you head down a slope. At the bottom, jump across 
to the power pole here.  From the pole, jump to the elevated platform on the
right and enter the building. Kill the zombie here and inspect the body on the
right (Collectible 3/3).

Exit back out through the window and this time jump up to the roof above. Drop
down the other side and grab the crate in front of you. Pull it to the left.
Once it is out of the way, return to where it was originally and climb down 
the ladder that was hidden here. Inspect the body here for a stamina booster
(1/1).
 
Climb the ladder and use the crate to jump onto the structure on the right. 
There is a med kit here if required. When ready, jump over the fence to the 
right. Run to the right until a scene plays to end the level.

                   Act 1-05: A Chance Meeting          [ACT105]
===============================================================================
2x Collectibles


Continue to the right and inspect the hanging body (Collectible 1/2). Continue
right, avoiding or killing shadows as you go and climb the crate here. 
Continue across to the right and use the power pole to jump over the right 
fence.  Smash the fence at the far end with your axe and continue up the hill.
At the top, crouch and head through the gap in the fence here.  Jump across 
the rooves here to avoid the zombies, before dropping down to ground level and
sprinting through the planks blocking the door on the right.

Inside, mount the filing cabinet and jump to the ledge above and then again to
the nearby ladder. Climb to the roof. Drop down on the far side and continue 
across the street to the right, at the far end of the area, crawl through the
opening.

Jump on the crate here and then drop over the fence. Run as far as you can to
the right. Climb the ladder here and you will find a switch. Activating this
will wake a bunch of shadows up, so be ready to run! Hit the switch, and then
sprint back to the left. Hit the next switch when you get to it and jump on
top of the car that drops down. From here leap to the platform above and to
the left and crawl back through the passage to the left. Kick out the vent at
the end and jump over the fence. The switch here is now active, so press the
button to open the door. Drag the crate here outside and use it to climb up 
to the power pole and then from here across to the platform to the right. 

Use the ledges to climb up to the roof, and then continue to the right into 
the open door. Drop down to the room below and run over to the right and 
inspect the body (collectible 2/2). Return to the left, keeping in mind there
will be a few zombies waiting for you and use a wall jump to get up on top of
the structure in the centre of the room and them up to the ledge on the 
right. Warning, this ledge will collapse on your first attempt, so you will
need to repeat the process to get out. 

Once outside, use the hanging signs to continue to the right. Drop down when
you can go no further. There is a first aid kit here if required. Continue 
to the right.

                   Act 1-06: Checkpoint Charlie        [ACT106]
===============================================================================
1x Diary Entry, 
3x Collectibles, 
Revolver


Jump onto the crate to the right and drop down. Inspect the body here 
(Collectible 1/3). Use a wall jump to get to the platform above you and use 
the assortment of ledges to get to the roof on the left. Sprint jump from here
across the gap and grab the ladder. Climb to the top. Jump down to the roof 
below. 

Before continuing, turn back to the left and climb down the sneaky ladder on
the edge of the building here. Jump through the open window to the left,
inspect the cupboard on the far left (Collectible 2/3). Return to the roof and
continue to the right. Crouch under the water tower, jump across the gap and
then again through the window. Drop down the hole in the floor and search the
body on the left of the room if you like. In the centre of the room there is
an object you can examine (Collectible 3/3). Exit through the open window and
drop down to the street below.  Climb the fence to the right. 

Drop down to the ground level to the right. Run back left and into the small
structure here. Inside you will find Diary entry 1/1. Exit and climb back onto
the roof. Use the construction equipment and the high wire to make your way to
the right. Jump over the fence at the end. There is a first aid kit here if 
you require it. Continue to the right.

Here you will unlock the “In the army now” achievement.
 
Inspect the body for a revolver… And a flashback. Follow the instructions on 
how to use firearms until you return to the present.
 
Once you are back, return to the left and shoot the lock off the ladder to the
guard tower above. Climb the ladder and continue across the wire to the right.
Continue through the zombies to the right and crawl under the roller door at 
the far right to complete the level.

                   Act 1-07: Broken Homes              [ACT107]
===============================================================================
4x Collectibles


There is a first aid kit here if you need it. Exit the building and sprint 
through the boards blocking your passage on the right. Knock the zombie here
down, finish it off or run past it and crawl through the gap under the debris
at the far right. Jump onto the truck on the right, there’s a big fire – no
going further just yet! Jump back to the left and climb the ladder. Enter the
window at the top and inspect the body (collectible 1/4).  Open the door 
here, climb to the roof and then sprint into the water tower on the right to
knock it down. 

Return through the apartment to street level and jump over the truck. Now that
the fire is out, continue to the right. Fight through the zombies and climb
the street pole when you reach it. Jump through the open window to the right.

Climb the debris and through the open door to the right. Inspect the couch
(Collectible 2/4). Continue right, knocking down the zombie and climbing out
the window. Climb the ladder here and enter the window on the next floor of
the apartments.  Sprint through the door and continue through the next room 
to the right and out the window. Climb the ladder and enter the window. Inside
wall jump up to the ledge on the left. From here jump the gap and examine the
body for revolver ammo. Exit the window and climb to the roof. 

Run up to the fence and use the yell button to call the nearby zombies over. 
This will cause the roof to the right to collapse. Once this has happened to
make roof access possible, return back down to the second floor and use the
raised platform in middle of the central room to access the upper levels.
Jump to the right and exit through the window. Climb the ladder here and
re-enter the building through the window on the left. Inspect this body
(Collectible 3/4). Continue to the left and jump to the platform in the centre
of the screen and from here to the roof on the right. 

Jump across to the building on the right. Crawl under the elevated structures.
You will now need to wall jump over the electricity and up to the platform
above and then jump over the fence on the right.

Slide down the ramp at the edge of the roof and jump to the window cleaning
platform. Use the subsequent platforms to slowly descend until you reach the
air conditioner on the far right. Drop down from here and continue along the
platforms until you reach the rooftop.  Search the body here for revolver ammo
and drop down the right side of the building and into the window here. 

From the window, use the yell button to draw the nearby baddies into the
electricity and when safe jump across to the generator.  Turn it off and
sprint to the right and roll under the wall at the end. You will need to do
this quickly as the electricity will come back on quickly and fry you if you
are too slow. Grab the box in this room and bring it back to the left. Get on
top of it and wall jump up to the rope hanging at the top of the room and use
it to head right and leap over to the ladder. 

At the top of the ladder, jump to the left for a first aid kit and continue
along to the next room on the left.  Kill the two shadows in here and examine
the object on the far left (Collectible 4/4). Return to the far right. Climb
up and through the opening close to the roof. 

Drop to the floor and inspect the body for revolver ammo. Climb up the debris
and through the opening on the right.  Check out the caravan here if you wish
and continue onwards to the right. From the next car, jump to the power pole
and use the rope to shimmy to the right.  It will snap. Simply sprint to the
right until a scene plays.

                   Act 1-08: Lou's Pawnshop            [ACT108]
===============================================================================
2x Collectibles


As you start, inspect the body in front of you (Collectible 1/2). Move to the
right and shoot the lock off the hatch on the ceiling. Once it drops out, wall
jump up to the next floor and continue right, you can interact with a TV here.
Return back to the right and jump across the gap.  Check out the shelf in the
room here (Collectible 2/2). 

Drop down below and move the book case out of the way. Interact with the floor
here and when it opens (You must have inspected collectible 2 for this to 
open), climb down the ladder.  Continue to the left and hit the switch here.
Return to the right and hit the now activated switch here to open the door.
This roller door will open incredibly slowly and of course, zombies will start
to pour into the room to make things interesting. Defend yourself until the
door opens enough and crouch walk under and through the gap to the next area.

Sprint to the right to break through the boards here.  Continue running to 
the right, over the fences and using wall jumps to get over the construction
equipment and continue to the right. Break through the next wall and then leap
over the next wall. Use the gas station wall here to wall jump up onto the
central platform and then from there up to the top of the gas station. Jump 
to the sign here and then drop down to the platform to the right. There is a
med kit here if required.  Continue to further to the right until you break
through one more set of boards to complete the level and the first Chapter.

                   Act 2: Hunters                      [ACT200]
===============================================================================

                   Act 2-01: Dream                     [ACT201]

No collectibles.


You will find yourself in a hallucination, simply run all the way to the right
to complete it and the level.
 
You will earn the “Is there anybody there?” achievement.



===============================================================================
                   Act 2-02: Tunnel Rats               [ACT202]
===============================================================================
1x Diary Entry, 
2x Collectibles, 
Slingshot

Once you regain control, run to the right jump across the gap here unless you
fancy a spike up your back side and continue onwards. Slide down the ramp and
drop down to the room below. After a short scene (yay, traps!) wait for a
second zombie to fall victim to the trap and whilst the deadly obstacle is
occupied, continue to the left.  Stand on the lift here and yell at your new
found friend to the left when prompted to do so and he will send you down a
level.

Drop down and approach the trap. As you do, a zombie will stumble into it.Jump
on top and ride it to the top. Use the overhead platform to continue to the
right. When you reach the gap, jump to the central platform and then again to
wall jump off the wall to the right. Quickly jump to the next platform and 
onto the ladder before they collapse. At the top use the yell to signal the
guy to open the door. 

Grab the box from the left and pull it back to the centre of the room. Return
to where the box was originally and continue left for a Diary entry (1/1).
Return to the box and use it to grab onto the ladder above. Climb to the next
area and continue to the right. 

There are four traps in a row here. You can either quickly jump across to the
far side of the room or drop down in front and try to get one of the zombies
to grab you so you can push it onto one of the nearby pressure plates. Either
way, you will need to get onto one of these traps and ride it to the top of
the room. Once here, examine the hanging body to the left (Collectible1/2).  
From the traps, jump up to the platform on the right.  Check the bin here for
a first aid kit if required and then head down the ladder. 

At the bottom, the wall to the right will break immediately and a rowdy bunch
of zombies will emerge. High tail it to the left. Jump over the two sets of
pressure plates and slide down the slope here to drop to the room below.

Move to the right and to the dead end. When prompted signal the Rat to open
the hatch on the ground behind you. Climb down the ladder and head left.Search
the body here (Collectible 2/2) and continue through the doorway. Examine the
hanging body here for a new weapon – the slingshot. Return up the ladder and
use the slingshot to fire a projectile at the circular object with the red
cross just above the exit – this is what a switch looks like for the next few
levels so get used to looking at them!  Once the path is clear, head to the
right and get on the lift.

                   Act 2-03: The Collector             [ACT203]
===============================================================================
1x Collectible


Move to the left and hit the bar sticking out below the box in the alcove
above with the slingshot to bring the box down to your level. Push the box to
the left until it heads down the slope. You can inspect the wall here if you
are curious. When you are ready, follow the box down the ramp, jumping over
the spikes as you go. 

After a couple of jumps you will end up on a rope, drop to the rope below this
one and then between the spikes to yet another rope below that. Shimmy to the
right and drop down to the platform here. Before dropping further, look to 
the right and just below the lowest rope (the one you just dropped from). See
that ledge? Jump over to it and crawl inside to find a body containing a
collectible (1/1). Return to the previous platform and drop down below. Jump
over the spikes here and immediately hit the left trigger to roll after 
jumping the second set of spikes to avoid the trap before jumping over one
final set of spikes.

Again you will be hanging from a rope suspended above spikes. Shimmy to the
right and drop down. Slide down the slope and jump across to the gap opposite.
Continue to the right. 

Jump to the next platform and shoot the target above and to the right with
the slingshot. Continue to the right and down the ladder.  Jump to the left
and immediately grouch and crawl to the centre of the platform to avoid the
trap. Next, move slightly to the left to trigger the next trap and then 
quickly retreat to the centre of the platform. As the trap is slowly going
back up again run over and jump to the left.

Turn around and shoot the target below and to the right by aiming to ricochet
the shot off of the metal wall behind it. Then use the platform that appears
to the left to access the ladder. Climb down to the area below. Drop to the
floating platform below. Continue to the right and when prompted yell at the
Rat to lower a platform for you. Sprint over and jump to the right. Climb up
and continue to the right. Get on the lift and ride it up to the next area.

                   Act 2-04: The Den                   [ACT204]
===============================================================================
4x Collectibles


Upon starting this chapter you will earn the “Land Down Under” achievement.

Head left and jump the gap. Sprint through the boards here. Use the slingshot
to knock the red bucket off the shelf on the left and pick it up (Collectible
1/4). Exit and climb the ladder. Turn left and enter the room here, and enter
the hole in the wall on the left (collectible 2/4). Exit and hit the switch
next to the ladder. Run and jump across the gap to the right. 

Jump up again to the right onto the hanging platform and from here run over
to the box on the right. Grab it and drag it back left onto the lift. Return
to where the box was to find a collectible (3/4). Return to the lift and hit
the switch up and to the left to send the lift up. At the top push the box to
the left until it is on the very edge of the platform.  Jump onto the box and
then jump across to the raised bridge.  Drop down onto the other side and hit
the switch here. 

Push the box across the lowered bridge and up to the wall here and use it to
jump over. Hit the switch here and pull the box through the now opened 
doorway. Place the box directly above the cage that you can see below. Climb
the ladder above and hit the switch here to empty the box into the cage and
open a new area back to the right.  Instead of heading there right away, drop
back down to the platform below and smash through the wall to the left. From
here, jump across the gap to the room here for another collectible (4/4).
Return to the right and meet up with the Rat to ride the newly accessible 
lift up to the next area. 



===============================================================================
                   Act 2-05: Ascend                    [ACT205]
===============================================================================
3x Collectibles, 
1x Health Booster


Run and jump across the gap to the platform on the left. Inside, you can check
the far left wall if interested and when ready; climb the ladder to use the
valve on the balcony to the right. This will lower the water below. Drop down
the ladder and continue into the now empty pool.  Get onto the ramp about 
halfway across the room and shoot the switch above. This will cause the 
ladder to drop down a little so we can get to it. Jump across to it and climb
up into the next room.  Here simply sprint to the right to avoid the traps and
crawl out of the opening at the far end.
 
Drop down to the right and use the slingshot to shoot the switch that is below
and to the left.  When the platforms appear, jump across to the train and
climb up on top of it. Run and jump down to the platform on the right and bust
through the wall here. Examine the body (Collectible 1/3). Jump back over to
the train and get back on top. From here shoot the switch above ant to the
right. Jump over to the lift and ride it back to the right. Climb the wall.
Jump across to the central platform here, head over to the left and climb up
to the top. 

Shoot the bar on the switch above and to the left to bring the lift up to our
level. Now look above the door to the right and you should see another less
conspicuous switch. Face the lift and shoot the switch, this will cause the
platform to move sideways. Let the lift push you off the cliff and you will
automatically grab it. Stay hanging until you are on the other side of the
ventilation shaft in the centre of the room and then pull yourself up. Jump
across to the platform on the left once you reach the other side and examine
the body for a Health expander (1/1). Shoot the switch above and to the right
to reactivate the lift and jump on to ride it back to the previous area.

When the lift is back in its original position, jump across to the right.
Sprint to the right and roll at the end to avoid the traps and head through
the gap. Jump across to the central platform and hit the valve to lower the
water level.  Head over to the left and crouch walk into the wall to find a
secret area where you can examine a body (collectible 2/3). Now head over to
the right and smash through the wall. Grab the box from in here and pull it
back to around halfway between the valve platform and the right hand wall.Now
raise the water level again and use the box to jump across to the ladder on
the right.

From the first room on the right, inspect the body of you wish and then jump
across the gap to the ladder on the left and climb it all the way up to the
next platform.  Wall jump up to the pole here and shimmy across to the right.
Jump to the ladder opposite and climb the ledges here. From the top one, shoot
the switch over the left side of the room and then use the platform to jump
across and into the hole in the wall. Crawl through to the next area.

Drop down into the room and shoot the bar off the pulley in the top, centre of
the screen. Continue to the left and duck under the opening to head out into
the open area beyond. Here shoot the bar blocking the pulley above and to the
left. Now return to where you dropped down and hit the switch here. Now run
all the way to the left, across the platforms and jump to the train hanging
precariously beyond. Climb to the top. Open the door here and check out the
body on the ground (Collectible 3/3). 

Continue to the left and drop down. Stand on the edge of the train platform
here and use the yell to lure the zombies to you. Jump over them and over to
the left until you see a couple of additional shadows.  Yell to draw them to
the train track and jump back over to the platform on the opposite side so
that all the zombies are trapped on the tracks. 

Jump over the lot of them and run to the left. Grab the box here and pull it
back under the ladder and jump up to exit the area.

Use the slingshot to shoot the glass out of the roof and climb up through the
opening.  Grab the wire here and shimmy to the right. When it snaps, sprint to
the right and over the fence.  Jump and grab the low roof here and use it to
jump across to the right.

Enter the house here via the balcony. Examine the hanging body here
(Collectible 1/4), Drop down to the room below and head through the door on the
left. Climb down the ladder and examine the zombie here for a stamina booster.
Climb back up the ladder and out the window to the right. 

Once out on the street, get up on the power pole and climb up to shimmy over
to the right.  Continue to the right and enter the house here. Examine the
drawers on the right of the room (Collectible 2/4). Jump out the window here
and through the next building. 

Once you enter the first multi-level building, exit via the opposite side and
jump across to the next building. Head up to the second floor here and examine
the cupboard (collectible 3/4).  Afterwards jump across to the right side of
the house and out the window. Jump over to the next house and smash through
the door here. 

When you get outside, jump up to the low roof here and use the slingshot to
shoot the red car to the right. The alarm will go off and draw the zombies to
it. Whilst they are busy, jump the fence and get onto the power pole. Make 
your way across the rope to the right and head over the house here. Drop into
the back yard and climb the ladder into the tree house. 

When you regain control, search the shrine here for a collectible (4/4). Kick
down the door to the right and jump over to the next house.  Drop down to the
ground between this house and the fence. Check the garbage bin here for a 
Diary entry (1/1). Climb over the fence.  Sprint to the right and interact
with the white van here to finish the level.

                   Act 2-07: The Big Bird              [ACT207]

Climb the ladder and jump up the platforms until you reach the roof.  As you
arrive a helicopter will arrive and start shooting at you. Sprint to the right
until you find your way inside.  Exit to the right and the same thing will
happen again, just make your way across the rooftops to the right until you
reach a dead end. Look at the yellow cage on the wall to the right. Behind it
is a switch, hit it with the slingshot and a crate will drop. Pull the box to
the left and use it to get up onto the ledge above.  Climb the ladder here and
continue to the right. 

Head inside and when you reach the bottom of the first room, search the body
(Collectible 1/1). Continue to the right when you can. You will see the
helicopter hovering outside, sprint to the right side of the room and climb
up to the next level of offices. The helicopter is still here and now it will
fire where the searchlight is situated, so you will need to wait for it to 
move before you can. As you get up to the second level do a yell to get the
zombie to enter the searchlight, once dead the helicopter will move. Head left
and grab the med kit here if required before climbing up to the next level.

Here you will encounter the helicopter once more in perhaps the most annoying
and frustrating part of the entire game. You will need to just sprint to the
right, working your way across rooftops and over a couple of fences all whilst
being chased by the helicopter. There’s no real tips to do this easily, you
will just have to do the run perfectly in order to survive. It may take a few
tries but shouldn’t be too difficult once you know what to expect. At the end
you will slide down a slope to end the level.

                   Act 2-08: Lydia                     [ACT208]

Fire Axe


From the start jump to the platform on the right and quickly jump to the next
as it will collapse.  Continue up the ladder here and at the top jump to the
big ‘H’. Flip over to the other side and jump over to the ladder below the
electricity. Climb down a short way and then flip over to the other side and
climb it all the way to the top. Run and jump to the roof on the right.
 
Again you will be chased by a helicopter across a roof, through an office,
across some more rooves down a slope, up a ladder and eventually fall through
a floor to safety. 

Once this happens, use the med kit if required and explore the cabinet to the
left for the fire axe. Go bash the lock off the door to the right and head on
through. Make your way to the left through two zombies and drop down to the
level below. Enter the door to the left. 
 
Keeping an eye on where the helicopter’s searchlight is, slowly make your way
across the room, dealing with zombies that get in your way. At the far end,
bash down the door and drop down to the level below. Sprint across the room
and through the wall here. 

Once you regain control, jump the fence to the right, you will start to
hallucinate again.  

Here you will earn the achievement – “Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon”

Check the swing set for collectible (1/1) and then check the rubbish bin to
the right for Diary entry (1/1). Continue to the right to finish the level.

                   Act 2-09: Human Flow                [ACT209]

Revolver


From the start, open the door and make your way as fast as possible to the
right to avoid being swarmed by shadows. Once you enter the next doorway,
quickly use the bookshelf here to block it. Search the body here for a
revolver. 

Using the revolver, shoot the padlock on the grating at the top right of the
room and use the book shelf to jump across to the opening.  Crawl through the
vent and drop down to the wire below. Shimmy to the left and drop down to the
platform here. Perform a running jump across to the precariously parked car.
This will drop below. Continue along this platform to the right and as you
reach a door, it will burst open. Kill the two zombies here, then head inside
and climb the ladder. 

At the top, make your way over to the left buy jumping the gap here. At the
end examine the body (Collectible 1/2). Now return to the top of the ladder
and use the axe on the entrance to the vent to the right here. Enter the vent
and drop down. As you reach ground level a swarm of zombies will approach from
the left, so start up the ramp. A few additional zombies will be chilling out
in front of you as well so either shoot or knock them down as you make your
way to up the top of the hill. 

At the top, jump onto the bus, then turn around and jump onto the supports to
the left. Continue across these supports until you reach a street level area
above the car park. Enter the building here and search the body for some
revolver ammo.  Sprint into the cupboard on the left side of the room to find
another collectible (2/2). Return back across the support to the top of the
ramp. Move across the street to the right and kick down the door blocking 
your way to enter the first building.  Kick the vent out at ground level in
the right hand room and use the building next door to jump into the window on
the higher level.  Make your way up to the top of the roof and use the wire
to shimmy across to the right. 

Drop down to the car park and sprint over to the right. Head down the ramp
and kill the four shadows here.  Wall jump up to the platform on the left and
kill the zombie here. Then jump from the box up to the rectangular block in
the centre of the screen. From here jump left to the ladder, shimmy across 
the rope at the top of the screen and jump through the window. Smash through
the boards here to end the level.

Head down the stairs in front of you and after you drop over the first wall,
head to the left and check out the food cart (collectible 1/2). Continue down
the stairs to the right. Jump over the barrier to watch a scene.

After that’s all over with go to the left. Jump over the barrier here and
Randall will pick up a shotgun – huzzah! Continue right. At the bottom of
the stairs the door will burst open. Kill the four shadows that emerge and
cruise on through.  Move the book case here and crawl through the hole in the
wall to the next room.

Make your way all the way to the right killing or avoiding zombies as you go
and jump up to the ledge near the ceiling. Pop through and drop down the 
other side.  Again sprint to the far side of the room, through the short
hallway and into the room beyond. Here use the book case to block the door to
stop the enemies following you in.  Jump up on top of it and jump to the 
right, Continue along the various poles and platforms until you reach the
platform at the top right of the room. Smash the grating here and crawl into
the vent.

Drop down and run to the right. After going through the first door, check out
the book case on the ground for a Diary Entry (1/1).  Open the door and head
up the stairs. There is a med kit here if you need it. Use the platform to
the right and jump up to the ledge to the left.  

Continue to the left and back out to the grand stands. When you reach the
block in the way jump up on top and rather than continue into the stadium,
sprint jump back to the right instead. Climb the stairs here and continue
down the hallway to the right. Examine the hanging body here 
(Collectible 2/2). Return to the entrance to this hallway and interact with
the bookcase nearby. Climb on top and continue up the stairs.  Head to the
end of the hallway and climb to the top of the area. Mosey down the stairs
here and look to the left. You will see a padlock on a ladder across the gap.
Shoot the padlock and jump across.  Make your way all the way to the left and
examine the box here (Retro Game (1/1)).

Return back down to the stadium floor and move to the left. Kill the zombie
attacking your pal to finish the level.

You will earn the achievement “Never gunna give you up”

From the start head all the way to the right until you bust through the first
set of planks. Examine the object on the ambulance here (Collectible 1/3). 
Continue up and over the bus and into the open window.  Examine the crate on
the floor here for a Diary Entry (1/1). Move to the door and pull the bookcase
in front of the door. Jump up on top and enter the vent here.  When the floor
falls out, examine the body on the right for shotgun ammo and then wall jump
up to the left. Continue through the vent to the right.

Drop down into the next room.  Examine the radio here if you like and
continue right until you reach the elevator shaft. Jump down to the wire
below.  Drop down again and continue to the right and Randall will hallucinate
again. When you regain control of him examine the vending machine at the far
right for a health booster (1/1). Return to the elevator shaft. 

Climb the structure to the left and jump to the wire. From here jump to the
ladder on the right and climb to the very top.  Climb up into the hallway on
the right and examine the garbage bag here (Collectible 2/3). Break through
the door here and kill the three shadows on the ground floor. Grab the crate
from the right and drag it back to the left. Use it to climb up to the next
level.

On the left of the gap here you can examine the body for some shotgun ammo
and on the right there is another radio to listen to if you like. When you
are done with that, continue onwards to the right. Go to the edge of the ledge
and yell to get all the zombies below to get them to bunch up below. Jump
over the lot of them and run through the door on the ground floor to the 
right. Continue until you bust through the planks at the end of the hall.

There is a med kit in this room if you require it.  Examine the object at the
back of the room (Collectible 3/3). Break the planks on the window and jump
through. Jump to the giant “P” and climb up the sign and then jump back into
the hospital via the open window near the giant “H”.

As you begin, kill the two shadows in the room with you and examine the body
in the centre of the room (Collectible 1/3). Go through the door on the left.
 Kill the zombies here and continue to the left across the gap. Drop down the
gap to the right and enter the door move to the right and examine the shelf
here for the medicine.

Exit the door and climb up to the platform to the left. Make your way across
the wire and kill the shadows at the opposite end. Continue through the door.
 Examine the body here (Collectible 2/3). In the next room, get onto the box
at the left of the room and smash out the vent. Climb through and jump across
to the elevator car to the left.  Go through the vent here and instead of
dropping down, jump across the gap to the vent opposite.  Here you can examine
a body (Collectible 3/3). Return through the vent and drop down the gap.

Sprint to the left through the breakable door and out the window to end the
level.

At the start, inspect the helicopter wreckage for collectible 1/5. Continue
to the right. When you reach the small pool of water in a ditch, search the
body here for collectible 2/5. Jump over the short wall to the right and slide
down the slope.  Continue right and jump up the structure here and drop down
the other side. Inspect the body here for some revolver ammo.

Continue right and kill the two zombies. Break the lock on the door to the
right and sprint back to the left. Kill all the zombies that emerge before
heading inside.  Jump up to the ledge on the left and shimmy across the wire
at the top of the room and leap out the hole in the wall here.  Run up the 
ramp and smash through the door. 
This next room is collapsing so you need to get through as fast as you can.
Sprint and jump across the first gap and wall jump up and over the wall here.
Continue through the vent at the ground level, slide down the slope and jump
across the water hazard here. Climb up and continue to the right. 

This room can be a little difficult until you know what to do.  Walk to the
right side of the platform you are on and shoot the zombie below and to the
right. Drop down and quickly jump through the window.  Turn around and look
up to the left to see supports for the window. Shoot them to destroy it. Then
turn to your left and kill the zombies who have decided to show up. When it’s
relatively clear, jump back through the window and climb the ladder on the
left of the room.  Sprint jump through the now open widow and leap across to
the roof to the right.

Get a run up and sprint jump across the water to the platform in the centre 
of the pool. Quickly climb up and jump further to the right before it falls
into the water. Drop down and crouch under the piece of wall here. Sprint jump
across the gap here and check the body (Collectible 3/5). Jump back across
the gap and use the wall pieces to jump up to the raised platforms. Continue
right and onto the rope. Shimmy to the right and drop down when you reach the
end. 

There is a first aid kit here if you need it. Climb up on the building here
and sprint jump to the left to grab the ladder. Climb up and use the wire to
shimmy all the way to the left.  Kill the zombie here and check out the 
console in the guard tower here (collectible 4/5). Return back across the
rope to the right. Drop back down to the building here and at ground level
walk into it from the left. Here you can examine a grey box on the right 
(Collectible 5/5).

Jump over the fence to the right, run down the ramp and through the weak wall
here. This next area will collapse as you go through so you will need to be
quick.  As you enter jump the gap and slide down the ramp. Jump over to the
ladder. Instead of climbing up, drop down and enter the opening in the wall
below. Inside the vent here you will find a can. Inspect it for a Retro Game
(1/1). Wall jump up to the ladder here and exit out to the left. Jump to the
ladder opposite and then immediately jump back as a piece of the ceiling will
fall and kill you if you stay there. After the danger is past jump back over
and climb to the opening at the top of the room.

                   Act 3-03: On Air                    [ACT303]

Run up and sprint through the planks ahead. Inside you will hallucinate again.
Afterwards check the body at the right side of the room (collectible 1/4).
Continue through the door. Jump across the big gap and hop over the truck.
See the shadow eating the body on the floor? Kill it and inspect the body for
another collectible (2/4). Continue through the building and out the window.
After dropping down, inspect the stack of boxes nearby for a Diary Entry
(1/1).

Continue across the screen and into the next building, check the filing 
cabinet near the elevator for a collectible (3/4). Head over to the left and
into the elevator. At the top, inspect the filing cabinet immediately in front
of you (collectible 4/4). Then head over and interact with the radio on the
far left.  Run back to the elevator, call it and head inside to end the
chapter.

                   Act 3-04: Arcadia                   [ACT304]
===============================================================================
4x Collectibles


After you regain control, run to the right and inspect the door. You will see
that you can charge through it. Instead of doing that right away use the yell
button to draw the guard over to the door, now charge through the door. Climb
up the raised section at the back of the room to retrieve your gear. 

Grab onto the ledge above, but instead of pulling yourself up jump to the left
to grab onto a hidden ledge. Follow the vent to the left and jump the gap to
find a collectible (1/4). Return to the ledge and climb up to the right,
follow the vent until it ends.  After the vent ends and before the next door,
look out for another collectible (2/4) lying on the floor. Continue through
the door with the steam coming out to continue.

Here you will unlock the achievement “Holding out for a hero”.

After the scene, head to the right, wait for your new partner to crawl under
the gate here and open it for you.  Climb the obstacle right in front of you
and then help your partner up.  Continue onwards and jump the gap here –again
help your partner when she jumps across. Head through the door.

In the next room, climb the ladder and quickly jump the fence to the right.
Drop down and hit the switch. Wall jump up to the wire and shimmy across the
electrified puddle.  Jump down and disable the generator. Continue to the
right and destroy the lock.  Climb through the opening beyond. 

Drop down and inspect the box here for collectible (3/4). Climb down the
ladder at the right of the room and interact with the power generator here. 
When you regain control, immediately sprint to the right and across the gap.
Your partner will jump too but ignore her for a second and shoot the guard
that appears opposite. Help your partner up and then shoot another guard that
appears in the other side of the gap. Climb over the barricade here and
immediately shoot the two guards to the right. Inspect the body here for some
extra revolver ammo and enter the building in front through the raised 
opening.

Kill the zombie inside and inspect the corpse for some additional revolver
ammo. Look up and to the right to see a locked window. Shoot the padlock and
then wall jump up to the wire in the centre of the room and out of the window.
Break the lock on the outside of the door so your partner can escape as well.

She will run off so follow her. About half way across the screen fire off a
couple of rounds to the right to kill a guard there and then continue 
onwards. Your friend will crawl under the door here and open it for you.
Unfortunately it takes her a little while to do so, so you will need to defend
yourself against the zombies until the gap is big enough to crawl under.

Inside smash the boards to the right. Kill the zombie in front and then
interact with the bookshelf to block the door. Run over to the right to check
the body here for the final collectible (4/4). Return to the right and hit
the switch here. Climb on the book shelf and then jump over to the platform
the switch activated. At the top grab the pole and shimmy to the right and
through the opening. Continue to the right and over the wall. You can inspect
the body here for shotgun ammo.

When ready, bust through the wall on the right, as you do a helicopter will
appear and chase you. Quickly run to the right knocking down, killing or
avoiding shadows that get in the way until you get back inside again. Kill
the zombie that appears and then move the book shelf on the right of the
screen. Destroy the padlock on the door and then sprint through to the next
area to complete the level.

Combat Achievements
===============================================================================

Flirtin with Disaster(10g)       - Tackle an enemy.
To earn this achievement, simply sprint at a zombie and Randall will tackle 
them. You will however need to get ready to mash the struggle button as the 
shadow will grab on to him as a result.


Goodbye stranger(10g)            - Push a zombie over a railing 
Use the axe to take a swing at a zombie near a railing and they will tumble
over. This is not too difficult and there are multiple areas and attempts you
will have to do this. 


Don't Lose Your Head(15g)        - Kill an enemy with a single melee attack
Whilst there is no press to decapitate button for the fire axe, if you swing
it at enough shadows this achievement is bound to happen sooner or later. It
happened for me on the third shadow I killed in the entire game and I saw the
same death animations 5-6 other times before I reached the end of the game.


Another one bites the dust (10g) - Perform a combo on an enemy 
When wielding the axe, simply use the melee button to hit a shadow more than
two times in a row to unlock this achievement. Easy!


Go back to hell	(10g)            - Execute an enemy
When an enemy is on the ground, either from falling or because you have
knocked it down, simply run up to it and hold down the melee button to finish
it off with an execution to unlock this achievement. Make sure you have a fire
axe at the time though!


Wanted Dead or Alive (15g)       - Reload the revolver really fast
Empty your revolver so there are no bullets left in any chamber. Once this is
the case, mash the reload button as fast as you can to completely reload it.
If you do it fast enough the achievement will unlock. 


Lay your hands on me (10g)       - Survive a close encounter 
Let a zombie get too close to you and they will grab onto you. When this 
happens, a button prompt will appear in the screen. Simply mash the button
until you shake the zombie off and this will unlock. 


Rust in peace (15g)              - Perform a headshot 
Once you have the revolver, perform a headshot on a zombie. Too easy.


Jump (15g)                       - Roll to avoid fall damage
When jumping from a great height, hit the crouch button before you land to
roll and avoid fall damage. The game will prompt you to do this in a few
places anyway so it should be easy enough to earn.

Collectible Achievements/Trophies

These 3 achievements are worth a combined total of 60 Gamerscore and are 
unlocked by beating a high score of 30 in each of the three retro game 
handhelds hidden throughout the game. The high scores are very easy to beat 
and you should have no problems unlocking them on your first or second go.

Beat the high score in Madness Mansion 
This handheld is found in the Act 1 level Outskirts. Follow the guide above to
locate this bad boy! Once found, you can either play with it immediately 
in-game or play it at any time from the main menu.

Beat the high score in Sport Daisy 
This handheld is found in the Act 2 level Playoff. Follow the guide above to
locate this bad boy! Once found, you can either play with it immediately
in-game or play it at any time from the main menu. 

Let there be rock! (20g) 
Beat the high score in Raven Thunder's Rock Legend
This handheld is found in the Act 1 level Outskirts. Follow the guide above to
locate this bad boy! Once found, you can either play with it immediately
in-game or play it at any time from the main menu.
