Chapter I - Introduction [01]

*******************************************************************************

Blood Brothers is a multiplayer RPG for Andriod. The game is available as a
free download from the Android Play Store. It follows the freemium business
model: it's free to play, but has a store where in-game items
can be purchased for real-world money. Download, install, and run the app to
get started.

*******************************************************************************

Chapter II - Choosing a Familiar [02]

*******************************************************************************

At the start of the game, you will be prompted to choose a lead familiar.
Click on each of the choices to get an overview of what they do, they are all
viable and you'll end up spending a lot of time seeing the one you choose, so
pick whichever you like and proceed to your first adventure.

*******************************************************************************

Chapter III - Stats [03]

*******************************************************************************

Every familiar in the game has five stats: HP, Attack, Defense, Wisdom,
and Agility.

HP - How much damage can the familiar take before dying
Attack - How much damage can the familiar deal each attack
Defense - How much damage does the familiar take when hit
Wisdom - How effective are the familiars skills
Agility - Attack order each turn (familiars with higher agility go first)

Each familiar also has a Growth stat that determines how quickly they gain
levels through experience.

Familiars are ranked C (common), UC (uncommon), R (rare), or EP (epic). Higher
ranked familiars can level higher and grow stronger than lower ranked
familiar.

In addition to the familiar stats, the player has energy and battle points.
The energy bar is in the top left, and energy is consumed when you move in an
adventure. Battle points are consumed when you battle against other players.
Both energy and battle points regenerate over time, so don't expect to play
this game in long stretches, the game mechanics force you to take a break and
come back later.

*******************************************************************************

Chapter IV - The Tutorial [04]

*******************************************************************************

The game will send you on a short adventure as a tutorial. You will level up
quickly and the basic mechanics of navigating the adventure screen will be
explained.

*******************************************************************************

Chapter V - Referral Codes [05]

*******************************************************************************

Entering a referral code will give you some starting prizes. If you're reading
this before you've past that point, feel free to use my code (7SihZu) or google
for someone else's code. It doesn't matter whose code you use, the bonus is the
same no matter which code you enter.

*******************************************************************************

Chapter VI - Blood Brotherhood [06]

*******************************************************************************

Blood Brotherhood allows you to sacrifice up to 8 familiars at a time to
increase the skills of one of your familiars. Select the familiar you want to
improve then select the familiars you want to sacrifice. This will not
increase the stats of the improved familiar, just their skill level, making
them more likely to use their skills in battle. Sacrificing more powerful
familiars results in higher skill gain, but be careful not to accidentally
sacrifice high quality familiars (R or EP).

If you have duplicate familiars with more than one star on them, you can
sacrifice one to make the other stronger with the evolution option in Blood
Brothers. You'll want to fully level the familiar to be sacrificed in
evolution to gain the most benefit from the process.

If you find crystals you can use them to empower a familiar, this sacrifices
the crystal and grants a permanent bonus to the empowered familiar.

*******************************************************************************

Chapter VII - Using Items [07]

*******************************************************************************

There are several items in Blood Brothers that will restore battle points,
energy, familiar health, or revive a fallen familiar. Since familiars return to
full health at the end of each adventure, you should only need to use
restorative items on your familiars if you won't be able to finish the
adventure without them.

Restoring battle points and energy will save you real world time, and
additional items for this are available in the game store for real world money.

*******************************************************************************

Chapter IX - Adventures [08]

*******************************************************************************

Adventures are the basic way to get experience, cash, and additional familiars.
Each battle in the adventure will give you experience, treasure chests will
give you items or coins to buy more familiars, and sacks of loot will give you
gold. Finishing adventures will give you a items and money. You will also
sometimes be able to recruit minions after each battle using items to make
pacts. There are generally plenty of them in the chests along the way so don't
hesitate to use them.

*******************************************************************************

Chapter X - PvP Battles [09]

*******************************************************************************

Player vs. Player battles allow you to pit your band of familiars against
another player's band. Experience is granted after the battle, and winning
three battles in a row will grant you additional items and gold. You can choose
between three different players by sliding the player displayed to the left or
right, it is recommended that you choose the lowest level player of the three
until you are comfortable taking on tougher targets.

*******************************************************************************

Chapter XI - Events [10]

*******************************************************************************

Sometimes the game offers limited time events that usually offer better rewards
than standard adventures and battles. Participate when you can and get the
rewards.

*******************************************************************************

Chapter XII - Allies [11]

*******************************************************************************

After each PvP battle, you are given the option to request the player you
battled as an Ally. If they are at their ally limit your request will
automatically fail, otherwise they'll have the option to accept. Feel free to
add everyone you run into early on, you can always remove them later if you
want to.
