 AUTHOR'S NOTE
 ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
There are errors found in the instruction manual on many of the characters,
but all should be correct in this FAQ. There are rumors floating around that
there are stage fatalities. None have been discovered yet, if they have been
implemented at all. This FAQ is part of a much bigger FAQ on the entire MK
series titled The Mortal Kombat Bible, which can be found at its home,
http://mkb.vmud.org - If you discover anything not listed in this FAQ, feel
free to submit it to me ([email protected]). You will receive the credit of
course, and it would be appreciated.

What makes a great FAQ is when it's written by someone who knows what they're
talking about. It takes more than a fan. It takes a fanatic. I've been playing
MK since 1992 and know just about every single detail about the games (I have no
life). Not to put down the competition, but the guy sounds like he just played
it for the first time. For example...

"Sadly, three characters were programmed out. They are Sheeva, Johnny Cage,
and Raiden. But Raiden does appear in Nightwolf's Friendship, so be glad of
  that."

This port is based on UMK3, which is similar to the SNES and Genesis port.
Cage and Raiden were never in the game to begin with, and Sheeva was removed
due to memory limitations. She was chosen because she is the least popular
 character.

I'm almost certain there is a cheat menu. What MK port would be complete
without one? Unless the developers are truly evil, I doubt they'd force us to
complete a difficulty each time we wanted to unlock someone. Anyway, it's just
a speculation. Thanks to all who have contributed and informed me of some
mistakes. Not to make excuses, but I haven't had a lot of time to play test
every
 single thing.
