Addicted to power, Ms. De Vries is prepared to do extremely unscrupulous things to get ahead of her competition. ============================================================================== = -Weapons- = ============================================================================== Agent, your arsenal consists of 8 weapons, some more useful than others. Review the following to get to know your weapons better. Remember to use the appropriate weapon for certain situations! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Falcon 2 Weapon Type: Pistol Shots to Kill: 3 Shots before Reload: 8 First Appearance: Basic Training Your basic firepower. After you deplete all your ammo (including any Pistol Ammo items), one bullet will regenate slowly and another one won't regenerate until you fire that bullet. Very decent weapon, and can kill a guard with one shot (if you're close and unnoticed). Otherwise, it'll take roughly 3 shots to take out a guard. Also note that the Falcon 2 is the ONLY gun that is silent enough to be able to kill a guard with his back turned w/o anyone noticing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ MG1-16G Weapon Type: Machine Gun Shots to Kill: 3 Shots before Reload: 32 First Appearance: Search and Rescue ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Shotgun Weapon Type: Shotgun Shots to Kill: 1 Shots before Reload: 8 First Appearance: Jungle Base Now THIS is firepower! Kill ANY guard with one hit, regardless of whether or not their back is turned! Of course, it's very noisy, so if there's more than one guard nearby, the other guard(s) will be alerted. Preferably used with lone guards. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ KNF-27 Weapon Type: Machine Gun Shots to Kill: 2 Shots before Reload: 32 First Appearance: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fantom Weapon Type: Machine Gun Shots to Kill: 4 Shots before Reload: 32 First Appearance: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Disruptor Weapon Type: Alien Technology Shots to Kill: 1 Shots before Reload: Recharges over time First Appearance: dataDyne Base It kills in ONE hit! It never runs out of ammo! So what's the problem? It recharges waaay too slowly! Use only as a last resort, and never take on more than one guard with it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Rocket Launcher Weapon Type: Rocket Launcher Shots to Kill: 1-2 Shots before Reload: 4 First Appearance: Illegal Cyborg Factory 1 WOW. This baby does MAJOR damage. The Shotgun is technically a better choice, but if you're being hunted by multiple guards, the Rocket Launcher is preferable because of the splash! The explosion is capable of killing more than one guard. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 6-YYY Weapon Type: Uzi Shots to Kill: 4-6 Shots before Reload: 32 First Appearance: Basic Training ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ============================================================================== = -Items- = ============================================================================== The following are a list of items that you may pick up on you journey. Med Kit Description: Heals 25% of Joanna's health. Pistol Ammo Description: Ammo for your Falcon 2. 8 rounds per clip. Machine Gun Description: Ammo for the various machine guns. I guess the "Ammo" part was cut off. Shotgun Ammo Description: Ammo for the beloved Shotgun (which rules in this game, unlike PD N64). Rockets Description: Ammo for the awesome Rocket Launcher. ============================================================================== = -Special Items- = ============================================================================== Laptop Computer Description: Needed to disarm bomb(s) in Advanced Training and the Carrington Institute. c4 Explosives Description: Needed to destroy canisters in the Cyborg Manufacturing Facility. Keycard Description: Needed to open up new areas in the dataDyne Base. ____________________________________________________________________________ \_______ \ \_______ \ |¯|/ / 5. Our extremely detailed guide will help you fly through all those missions with ease! Of course, the walkthroughs are full of spoilers (storywise, and otherwise), so use at your own risk! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ T R A I N I N G - C A R R I N G T O N I N S T I T U T E ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Daniel Carringoton: Joanna, after your many years of study and training, this is the final test. Beyond this door is the Carrington Institute training ground. It simulates urban combat conditions. Using nonlethal ammunition, you must complete the tasks ahead of you. Success will reward you with the license you so desire. Failure is not an option. Joanna Dark: Yes, sir. I understand. Basic Training -------------- Objectives: 1)Complete target ranges 2)Reach exit Alrighty, welcome to your first training mission (1 out of 5). You begin with 100% health, a Falcon 2 (10 rounds), and 1 Pistol Ammo item (8 rounds). Good luck! A) Once the mission has started, immediately run to the left. You'll see an arrow marked "Training Area" pointing at a door. Enter that door. B) Once you've reached the next room, immediately WALK to the left and stay to the right of that box. You'll see a guard walking back and forth vertically. Wait until his back is turned and sneak up behind him (don't run!). Try to be as close to him as possible before firing off a shot. If you did it correctly, you should have been able to kill him with one shot. If not, then the guard will be alerted and will start firing at you. Another 2 shots (that's 3 shots total) and he's done (same for every other guard if you're using the Falcon 2). However you kill him, Carrington will talk to you through your watch afterwards: "Joanna, you can obtain items such as health, ammo and weapons from the guard lying on the floor. Stand over him and press SELECT." As Carrington suggests, stand over the guard's body and press Select. Press Left or Right to move the cursor. Once the cursor is over an item you'd like, Press A to take it. Press B, Select, or Start to leave the screen (if you take all the guard's items, you'll leave the screen automatically). The Guard you just killed holds 2 Pistol Ammo items. Take them both, then run through the newly opened door on the left. C) Here's one of two target ranges you must complete to finish the first objective. There are 15 targets that appear randomly- shoot AT LEAST 10 to pass (get any less and you'll have to start from the beginning of the mission). Press A to fire. You can shoot 6 times before you have to reload (Press B at any time to reload). Pressing Start pauses the action. The targets appear either from the left door or the right door. Note that you only have to shoot each target only once (don't bother shooting any more than that). Accuracy, Ammo Used, and Shots Missed don't count towards completing the target range. Just focus on hitting those targets! It's really very easy. D) Once you've completed the Target Range, wait inside the doorway until another guard passes you by. Once he's turned around and heading back up, sneak up behind him and fire (again, if you did it right he'll die after one shot). He has not items on him, so run past his body and head up. You'll see a door opened on the right. Slowly walk to the right until you can just barely see another guard. By now you know the drill- pop a cap in his head when his back is turned. This guard has a Medpak item (which heals 25% health). Collect it if you need it, then head up just to the left of the door. E) You'll have to play "Door Control." Pay attention to the colors that light up (as well as the sounds), then repeat the pattern. The pattern for this particular dooris just 3 colors, so you'll be able to complete this "puzzle" easily (if you accidentally mess up, don't fret- you have unlimited tries, and if you enter the wrong code twice a new patter will be shown). Also note that the pattern is completely random, so we can't offer any help. F) After you've completed the "puzzle," head back to the left and exit that room. Enter the door on the left to find a room with a Med Kit (25%) and a 6-YYY (16 rounds). Head back to the "Door Decoder" room and head up the door that was opened. Head left, then up through another door. Hug the wall and head right. Start heading up slowly and stop when you can just barely see the guard (who walk back and forth horizontally). Sneak up on him when his back is turned and, well, you should know by now, right? This guard seems to have better senses than the others so far, so if you're not extremely careful, he'll see you. This guard holds another Med Kit (25%). Since he has that Medpak, I'd suggest just rushing in and firing as fast as you can. Head left through the doorway. There will be another guard walking back and forth vertically. Take him out and collect the Pistol Ammo. By the way, this is another guard that's hard to pass unnoticed. You should have enough health to take the pain, so just rush in and kill him if you like. Anyways, head to the door on the bottom-left of the room. In the next room is another guard (who walks back and forth horizontally). Shoot him and get his Pistol Ammo. Now head down through the door way and run to the right in the next room. Start walking when you see the guard walking back and forth horizontally and take him out to get a Med Kit (25%). Head back to the left and head down through the doorway for another Target Range. G) Again, there are 15 random targets- get at least 10. They can appear in two areas: one is in the foreground to the left, the other is in the background (making it a smaller target). Easy stuff. H) After you've completed the Target Range, you've completed Objective 1. Run all the way down and enter the door on the left to complete Objective 2. If you want, you can enter the door on the right to face 2 guards, one of which holds a Pistol Ammo item. Okay! Part 1 of your training has been completed! Sorry that the walkthrough was so boringly detailed, but now that you know the basics, the rest should flow a lot smoother! Search and Rescue ----------------- Objectives: 1)Complete target ranges 2)Rescue hostages 3)Reach exit Part 2 of your training. You start with whatever health/items you completed Basic Training with. A) Wait until the guard below passes you, then take him out. He has no items, so just head down and run to the left. Enter the first open door you see (the number 2 appears above it). B) Once you're in the next room, walk up a little to start the first and only target range. Once again, there are 15 targets. Hit at least 10 to complete. There are 3 places from whence the targets can appear. There is a door in the foreground on the right, a door in the middle on the left, and a door in the background to the right. That last one is the "hardest" to hit, so make sure you aim well. Complete to complete Objective 1. C) After you complete the Target Range, slowly head up hug the left wall) and deal with the guard there. Take his two Pistol Ammo items and head back down. Head left through the door and take care of the still guard there (he has 1 Pistol Ammo). Head up through the doorway and receive another message from Carrington: "Untie the hostages to set them free. Use your inventory page to check your current objective details." Continue up through the doorway and be careful of the two guards in the room. One walks back and forth horizontally (no items) and the other walks back and forth vertically on the upper-left of the room. The latter carries an MG1-16G plus 1 Machine Gun Ammo. You CAN shoot the hostages, but that'll make you fail, and we don't want that, now do we? Just walk into the hostage above to set him free. Now head right into the next room. Slowly walk up and take care of the guard there (he won't move, so you'll have to rush in and kill him; don't worry, though, since he carries a Med Kit [25%]). There is another guard patrolling this room. His back should be turned by the time you reach him (if not, wait in the doorway to the right), so take care of him quickly (he carries no items). There are two more guards at the upper part of the room (one carries Pistol Ammo, the other, nothing). Just run in and shoot them fast. Don't worry about any damage- you'll have a chance to make it up later. Head back down and enter the first door on your right. Be careful about the stationary guard there (who has nothing) and rescue the hostage at the upper part of the room. Run down to the bottom of the room and go through the door. Take care of the guard in the next room (the guard has a 25% Med Kit), then go up to the panel next to the door. D) Yay. It's "Door Control" time! 4 colors to choose from this time, and the pattern is 6 colors long. Write the pattern down or juse memorize it. Either way, it's easy. E) Okay, run back up to the last room you were in, then head left though the door and keep heading left through the newly opened door. Save the hostages there. That will complete Objective 2. F) Head through the door on the right, then head all the way up. Head left, then up through the door. There's a guard patrolling this room. Be careful. He has nothing so continue to the right and take care of another guard. Keep on heading right and take care of the last guard in this room (who has a 25% Medpak). Leave through the door on the right to complete Objective 3. HOWEVER, if you're low on health (or crazy), head down through that long hall and take care of the 2 guards in the small room. Each guard has a Medpak. Actually, it really isn't too hard to kill them without being noticed. Stealth Training ---------------- Objectives: 1)Complete target ranges 2)Avoid guards 3)Reach exit Hmmm... this training mission is a bit harder, as you'll have to remain COMPLETELY unnoticed. If you alert even 1 guard, you'll fail the mission (reminds me of an MGS training mission...). Once again, you start with whatever you had when you completed Search and Rescue. A) Once the mission beings, immediately head through the door on the right. B) Once you're in the next room, Carrington will speak: "Running makes noise. Walk to sneak past guards. Utilize the walk to sneak up to guards and eliminate them with a single shot from your pistol." Use Carrington's advice and sneak up behind the guard. He carries nothing, so head up to the door panel. C) Yay, "Door Control" again. Again, 4 colors, pattern of 6 colors. Easy. D) Head up through the door and get ready for your first and only Target Range. This one's a little bit trickier. Sometimes a lady will walk past in the background. DO NOT shoot her! Doing so will make you fail! Anywho, guards will appear behind each of those two wooden barriers (which are supposed to be tables), or walk across the background. The ones behind the barriers can be tough to hit, since they're such small targets. Position your cursor so that you'll be able to hit the guard at the right barrier. Now all you have to do is move the cursor to the left to hit the other guard. When the moving guard comes, just wait until he moves into your crosshair. 15 targets, get at least 10. Complete to complete Objective 1. E) Head up to the upper part of the room and go through the door. This next room is tricky. Above and to the right of you is a guard walking back and forth vertically. Head up and wait until you can barely see the guard, then quickly walk back to the safety of the doorway (make sure you're at least halfway in so he won't see you). When the guard turns around, get him (and get his Machine Gun Ammo and Medpak too). By the way, has anyone else noticed that toilet is just out in the open? Hate to use the bathroom there... Anyhow, there's another guard in this room. Head to the left and stay to the bottom of the room and you should be able to see the guard walking back and forth horizontally. He also has Machine Gun Ammo and a Medpak. By now you may be running out of ammo for your Falcon 2, so it might be a good idea to switch over to the MG1-16G. I still had 3 Pistol Ammo items left, so it's up to you. Anyhow, exit through the door on the left to complete Objective 3. Advanced Training ----------------- Objectives: 1)Complete target ranges 2)Find Laptop and disarm bomb 3)Rescue hostages 4)Reach exit Once again, Joanna starts with whatever items and health she had when she finished Stealth Training. A) Once the mission begins, immediately head left and kill the guard. Don't worry if he spots you- he carries a Med Kit (25%). Continue heading right until you reach a door with a sign above it marked by the number 4. Sneak to the right of the barrel that's to the right of the guard. Even though you're not exactly next to him, you should be able to kill him with one shot. Pick up his Pistol Ammo, then enter the door. B) Once you enter the door, your first of two Target Ranges will begin. Things are a little different this time. There are now 20 targets, and you must hit 15 to pass. Guards can appear from 3 areas- the two doors on the left, and the corner on the right. Hostages, however, also appear. One appears in the corner, the other appears in the door in the foreground. Be careful! The latter hostage is being held captive by a guard. Make sure you only hit the guard! C) Once you complete the Target Range, head up and into the room on the right. Immediately hug the wall on the left and head down and behind the table. Wait for the guard to turn around, then take him out and get his Med Kit (they're all 25%- you should've caught on to that by now). Collect the Laptop on the table, then get a message from Carrington: "Some missions will require you to use a special item to achieve an objective. Use the laptop to defuse the bomb on this level." Alrighty, now head up through the door and take care of the guard in here (which is hard to avoid since he stays still). He holds nothing, so continue up through the door above and shoot the guard inside the room (hug the bottom wall and you should be able to see his feet walking past). Take his Med Kit, then save the hostage to the left. Exit the room, then head left. Head up to the next door you see and enter it (before you enter the next room, you can take out a guard above for a Med Kit). Head down, take out the guard, get his Pistol Ammo, and save the hostage. Head down further, take out the next guard, collect his Pistol Ammo, and save the hostage there. Exit the room through the door at the upper part of the room. The next room holds 2 guards. One of them is easily avoidable, the other will most likely be alerted when you shoot the other. One holds Pistol Ammo, the other, nothing. Save the hostage (this completes Objective 3), then head through the door on the right and get ready for another... D) Target Range. This is the last one. 20 targets, hit at least 15. Two are from whence the guards may appear- a door in the back of the room and a door on the right. The guard at the back door will strafe through the room. There are two types of guards at the right door- one with a hostage and one w/o. A hostage may also appear at the back door. Complete the Target Range to complete Objective 1. E) Run to the the right and be wary of a guard that's approaching. Take him out (he holds nothing), and continue to the right until you reach a hall heading down. Head down and take care of the guard in the next room (again, this guard has nothing). Head through the door on the right and take care of the guard in that room (he walks back and forth diagonally and holds nothing as well). Head down through another hallway and take care of yet another guard (who carries a Pistol Ammo item). Head through the door on the left and walk up to the bomb at the upper wall. Analyzing Device ___________________ |___________________| Decoding Booby Trap ___________________ |___________________| Defuse in Progress ___________________ |___________________| Device Safe Congrats, you've finished Objective 2. F) Make your way back to that room with the final Target Range and head all the way to the right. There's a still guard in the room, but since he holds nothing, you can just hug the wall and make it to the door to complete Objective 4. If you come to this door and it's closed, you'll receive a message from Carrington: "Joanna, you can not continue. You must have an unfinished objective." Just complete whatver unfinished objectives you have and return to the door to finish part 4 of your training. Final Training -------------- Objectives: 1)Rescue hostages 2)Reach exit Do I even have to say it? Alright, then. You'll start with whatever health and items you had when you completed Advanced Training. A) Alrighty, this final training mission is a bit of a doozy to explains, thanks to the sheer size of the streets. Once you start the mission, Carrington will speak: "Use your initiative to search the training area to locate the hostages." In other words, get lucky and find the doors. From where you begin, immediately head down. Shoot the guard moving horizontally (he has a Medpak), then head back up and shoot the guard moving diagonally and the guard moving horizontally. Neither has anything, but if you move behind the house on the left, you can get a hidden Medpak. Continue moving behind the house, then head down slightly and kill the guard moving vertically (he carries a Medpak). If you need even more health, run to the upper-left and collect another Medpak. B) Head into the door just below the Medpak mentioned above and take care of the stationary guard (he has nothing). Save the hostage, then exit the room. C) Back outside, hug the left wall until you reach another door (there will most likely be a guard patrolling by the time you reach the door- he has a Pistol Ammo item). Enter the door. Shoot the guard with his back turned (he has nothing) and save the FOUR hostages inside the room. Hmm.... anyone else wondering why all the hostages look alike? Perhaps they're octuplets... Anyhow, exit the room. D) Back outside, hug the wall once again until you reach another open door. You should be able to just barely see a guard walking on the right. Take him out for Pistol Ammo, then enter the door on the left. This is a rather large room. Take out the guard on the upper-left (he's hard to avoid) and take his Pistol Ammo. Save the hostage, then walk to the bottom part of the room. A guard will be moving back and forth horizontally. Take him out for a Medpak, then exit the room from the bottom door. E) There will be a guard waiting for you. Shoot him, then take his Medpak. Run all the way to the right until you see a guard. Kill him (he carries nothing), then continue running to the right. Head up slightly and you'll see an open door. Enter it. There are 2 guards in this room. One has Pistol Ammo, the other has nothing. Both are hard to avoid, and you should have enough health left to take a beating, so just rush in and fire. Save the TWO hostages and exit the room. F) Back outside, hug the right wall and shoot the two oncoming guards. One has nothing, while the other has a Medpak. Enter the door on the right. This next room has 2 guards; both carry nothing. Save the hostage at the bottom-right of the room to complete Objective 1. Exit the room. G) Back outside, head left slightly, then up. You'll encounter a guard who has Machine Gun Ammo. Keep heading up and hug the right wall until you reach an open door (marked Exit). If it's not open, Carrington will talk to you: "Joanna, you can not continue. You must have an unfinished objective." Go through the door to complete Objective 2. H) In the next room, head right, then down through the doorway and Carrington will speak to you. Congratulations! You've received your license and an A++ rating, Carrington Institute's highest ever! (These are my own words, not Carrington's. The talk with Carrington appears in the South America section of the Perfect Walkthrough) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ M I S S I O N 1 - S O U T H A M E R I C A N J U N G L E ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Daniel Carrington: Excellent, Joanna! Your skills have grown. I'm proud of what you have accomplished. Now it is time to give you a real mission. You will be dropped into a South American jungle. The exact location must remain classified. A cyborg manufacturing plant is hidden near the drop zone. Destroy it! Joanna Dark: How should I deal with any opposition? Daniel Carrington: You must proceed with caution. The factory will be heavily defended, and any forces you come across will be well armed. Intel data indicates there is an attack helicopter that performs routine patrol flights. Use force where necessary, Joanna, but be careful not to compromise the mission. Joanna Dark: I won't let you down, sir. It's time for a looong cinema. I wish they had used high-color technology à la Tomb Raider, but the cinema is still nice. Carrington gives Joanna her license during a graduation ceremony. On January 22, 2022, Joanna sets off on her first mission. She boards the Orca Dropship and flies to the South American jungle. She gets off the Orca Dropship, and minutes later, notices a ball of fire crashing down to the earth. What could it have been?? ____________________________ |Dateline: January 22nd, 2022| |Location: South America | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Jungle Base ----------- Objectives: 1)Locate and destroy cyborg factory 2)Defeat Mink Hunter Joanna starts her first real mission with 100% health, a Falcon 2, and 1 Pistol Ammo item. Each area of the entire base is treated seperately (I used the Mini-Game sections to seperate the Jungle Base), so all have the same objectives. Also note that you cannot complete either objective in the Jungle Base. Both objectives will be completed after you finish the Cyborg Manufacturing Facility area (which is seperated into 4 Factories- more details later). A) As soon as the mission fades in start walking to the right, then follow the guard walking away from you. Get real close, shoot him in the back, and he should drop to the ground. Collect the Pistol Ammo from his body and continue on until you get to the bridge. There are seven guards on the way to the bridge, but if you hide in the small alcoves created by the foilage you should be able to cap them in the head. This is what the guard's drop in order: Pistol Ammo, Nothing, Pistol Ammo & a Med Kit, Nothing, Pistol Ammo, Med Kit, and nothing. B) Before you go over the bridge go to the right and walk down to collect a Med Kit. There is a guard patroling back and forth just after the bridge, so stick to the left side of the bridge and hide behind the cans and do the normal sneak and cap. He has nothing on him so don't bother searching the body. Now head north through the gulley, but as you emerge another guard will be patroling. If you hug the left wall of the gulley he won't see you, so you can sneak up behind him and cap him. Now keep following the gulley, but after it snakes downwards hide to the right of the crate as there is another patroling guard. These guards must be blind or something since they can't see Joanna even if an object only covers her ankles. Anyhow, sneak up and cap the guard then get his 6-YYY and Machine Gun Ammo. Equip the 6-YYY and continue on. There are two guards up ahead. Don't bother about capping them- just blast them with the 6-YYY. The one that comes from the upper right has Pistol Ammo on him. Now walk to the bottom left and walk across the bridge but stand behind the guard at the other end of it. Change to the Falcon 2 and cap him in the head then search his body for a Med Kit. Now head left and hide behind the foilage. Cap the guard to the left of you and search his body for a Med Kit and Machine Gun Ammo. Now head up across the next bridge and cap the guard up ahead (he has nothing). Now follow the path until you reach the Oil Tanks. Cap the guard around the Oil Tanks and get his Pistol Ammo on him. Now stay towards the row of Oil Tanks and walk along. There is a guard guarding the door to the warehouse up ahead. If you hug the Oil Tanks then walk down you can shoot him in the back (he has nothing). Enter the small warehouse. C) Now head up along the left side of the warehouse and hide behind the cans. When the time is right sneak up and shoot the guard that's patrolling. He has no items on him, so just head up and cap the guard patroling the exit door. He has nothing on him so just walk around the crates and collect the Med Kit. Exit the warehouse. D) As soon as you emerge from the warehouse kill they guy in front of you quickly with stealth (he has nothing). Then head right and collect the Med Kit. Now is time to get helter skelter and whip out your 6-YYY. Head back to the left then start heading up. Blast the guard ahead of you and collect the Machine Gun Ammo from his body. Keep heading up and blast the guard ahead (he has no items). Now head down and to the right and kill the two guards ahead (one has nothing the other has Pistol Ammo). Head up on the path to the right of the cans. There is a single guard up here so blast him quickly and search his body for Machine Gun Ammo & a Med Kit. Now head back down and make your way around the lake. After the lake is a guard- waste him and collect the Med Kit from his body. Keep heading up in this gulley and kill the guard ahead (he has a 6-YYY but since you already one you cannot pick it up). Keep heading north until you get to a body of water. Turn left there and kill the guard (he has nothing). Now head down and waste the guy down there (again, this guard has nothing). Change back to the Falcon 2 and walk down along the left side. You will notice a guy up ahead- sneak up and cap him (this guard has nothing as well). Head left, then up and hide behind the small shrub. Sneak up and cap the guy patroling here (he also has nothing on him). Up ahead is the last guard for this section- shoot him (he also has nothing on him). Now walk up and board the Raft. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ River Crossing ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The next section is a Mini-Game. You have to use the Machine Gun on the Raft to defend yourself from the many guards and paratroopers on the bank of the river as you float downstream. You can also collect crates that fall down on the way by shooting them. A crate with an A on it contains ammo for your gun. A Med Kit does the usual and a crate with a G contains grenades which are very useful for protecting yourself. I would give priority to the ammo crates over everything else. Also note that even if you do run out of ammo (when the Reload message flashes on your screen), you CAN STILL shoot the guards. Don't let up your guard! Jungle Base 2 ------------- Objectives: 1)Locate and destroy cyborg factory 2)Defeat Mink Hunter A) After the trip downstream you appear near a semi run down base. Head left straight away until you get to a Med Kit. Now head back to were yo started from and walk up against the yellowy brown barrier. You should just be able to see the guards legs. Whip out your 6-YYY and blast him from here. Search his body for Machine Gun Ammo, then make your way left and kill the guard up ahead. Search his body for a Med Kit and Pistol Ammo. Keep heading left and kill another guard (make sure to pick up his Machine Gun Ammo). Now head up and kill another guard (he has a Med Kit). Keep on heading right and eventually you will see another guard. Waste him, then search his body for Pistol Ammo. Now head up and to the left. Kill the guard up ahead but don't bother searching him since he is carrying nothing. There is another guard up ahead near the watch tower- kill him (he has nothing). Head up, then to the right. Up ahead is another guard- waste him (he has nothing). Head right and kill the guard ahead to get a Med Kit. Go up now and quickly kill the guard ahead. Search his body for a Shotgun and Shotgun Ammo! Change to the Shotgun straight away. Follow the path left, up, then right. A guard will come running for you. Shoot him straight away with the Shottie (is this some Australian lingo I'm not aware of?), and he will fly backwards with one hit! The stingy barstard isn't carrying anything so don't bother searching him. Head left and kill the guard by the shack (search him for a 6-YYY & a MedPak, though the 6-YYY is useless since you already have one). Now head up and kill the two guards ahead (one has Pistol Ammo and the other has Shotgun Ammo). Go up, but don't touch the gates! There is a Med Kit to the right if you go between the crates and the watch tower. And there is another Med Kid to the far-left between the stacks of crates. After you collect them (if needed) go through the gates. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jungle Chase ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Another mini-game. You have to drive an enemy jeep to the next destination via a jungle road. There are khaki that try to drive by and shoot you. The green jeeps drop mines to damage you up. There are also suicidal blue trucks that drive towards you. The best strategy is to shoot the green jeeps, run the khaki jeeps off the road & collect as many ammo crates as you can while you keep a steady speed the course. Jungle Base 3 ------------- Objectives: 1)Locate and destroy cyborg factory 2)Defeat Mink Hunter A) OK, after arriving to the complex shoot the two guards on either side of you. The one on the left has a Shotgun (which you should already have) and the one on the right has nothing. Now take out the other three guards in this area (the one on the far right has Pistol Ammo, (he one on the far left has nothing & the one up ahead has Shotgun Ammo). Now change to the Falcon 2 and head up into the ruins ahead. Walk to the right, staying above the line of sight of the guard to your right. Sneak up to him and shoot him (take his Pistol Ammo as well). Now up and to the right is another guard. Sneak up on him and cap him (this guard has a very large patrolling area). He has nothing, so don't bother searching him. There is also another guard up ahead patroling back and forth horizontally. Kill him and search his body for Pistol Ammo. Now, change back to the Shotgun and kill the guy up ahead (he has Machine Gun Ammo). Now head left and kill the guard there. Search his body for Pistol Ammo, then head into the nearby shed. Quickly kill the guard here (who carries nothing), then rescue the hostage. Head out through the top exit. Head right then up and blast the guard (he carries a Med Kit and Pistol Ammo). Then head left and colect the Med Kit. Backtrack to the start of the ruins. B) Now from the start of the ruins head left and kill the guard up ahead (he has Pistol Ammo). Then head up to the water and head right. Shoot the guard there (who has nothing), then head up and kill the next guard patrolling ahead (he has a Med Kit). Head left and up, then kill the two guards ahead and collect the Shotgun Ammo from the first one's body, but dont bother searching the other one since he has nothing. Head down from the sheds and head right. Stay as close to the top fence as you can and shoot the guy up ahead (who gots nothing). Now head up into the shed and kill the two blokes inside (one has Shotgun Ammo). Then head through the top exit. Go through the left door of the next shed and quickly kill the guard up ahead (he has nothing). Change back to the Falcoln 2, head up through the crates, and save the hostage. Now head right (walking) and collect the Med Kit. Head down and shoot the guard below (that is stationary) while looking out for the patrolling guard (both have nothing). Head out the bottom-right door and walk to the right. Shoot the guard ahead (who drops a 6-yyy, but you should already have one). Change back to the Shotgun and walk more to the right and kill yet another guard up ahead, (how many ways are there to say nothing?). Head into the shed that isn't on the far right and kill the guard inside (he has nothing). Collect the Med Kit, then exit. Head into the far right shed, kill the guard, and search his body for a Med Kit. Head out through the top door. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hind Attack ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This Mini-Game is a breeze. You just have to destroy an easy helicopter boss. Use B to aim at the target you have to hit, then run across holding A from one rocky outcrop to the other. Repeat until the helicopter explodes. First you have to destroy double missile launchers on the far tips of the wings, then you have to destroy the large missile launchers further down the wings, then the large missile launchers even further down than the others. After you have destroyed all the wing armoury you can attack the actual helicopter. Just shoot at the cockppit. Also if the machine gun turret gets you a lot you can always shoot it off the helicopter, but it does regenerate. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sniper Mode ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is actually one of the most challenging mini-games in this entire game, but it is also the most cherished (speak for yourself, AstroBlue). It's best if you do this quickly. Pan up and to the right and shoot the guard in the tower in the head. Move the crosshair to the far right and shoot the other guard in the other tower. Now head down and to the right and shoot the guard in front of the crate in the head. Now continually pan left and shoot any guards you see. You must shoot all guards in the head and you must always give priority to guards with exclamation marks above their heads if you're going to survive. After you clear all eight of the guards down at the upper portion of the screen, kill the guards guarding the gate quickly, and then you're finished. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ M I S S I O N 1 . 5 - C Y B O R G M A N U F A C T U R I N G F A C I L I T Y ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Technically, the Cyborg Manufacturing Facility is part of the South American Jungle, which makes it part of Mission 1. For the sake of having a cleaner FAQ, I'm labeling it as Mission 1.5. Cyborg Manufacturing Facility ----------------------------- Objectives for every factory: 1)Locate volatile liquid cannister 2)Place c4 explosives on cannister 3)Reach factory exit A) Quickly shoot the guard ahead (nothing), then head left and kill another guard (nothing. Now head up and kill the guard patrolling ahead (Machine Gun Ammo) and head up and collect the Med Kit. Head into the factory via the door at the bottom left of the factory. B) In the factory, head down the ladder and walk up to the guy with the red hair and the singlet... Max Danger: Agent Dark, I didn't think you would make it past the attack helicopter. Joanna Dark: It didn't give me too much trouble. Who are you? Max Danger: My name is Danger, Max Danger. I'm an under-cover agent for the Carrington Institute. I have been sent to update you on the mission. Joanna Dark: OK, Max, what have you got for me? Max Danger: We've just dicovered this facility is producing high-tech weaponry for terrorist operations. I've never seen anything so advanced. It uses a highly volatile liquid, which is stored in containers throughout the factory. A C-4 charge in each factory should cause a chain reaction... and BOOM! Joanna Dark: That simple huh? Max Danger: No, you have to ensure that the man behind this little operation - Mink Hunter - doesn't escape. You must deal with him before you blow this place up. C) Climb back up the ladder after your little talk with Max and enter the door above. Change to your Falcon 2 and walk up the left side of this raised boardwalk. Up ahead is a patrolling guard. Cap him (Machine Gun Ammo), then carefully head right and down the other side of the boardwalk and cap the guard ahead (nothing). Head right through the passage and shoot the guard ahead (nothing). Head down the boardwalk. To the right there is a guard ahead- kill him (nothing). Walk up, then to the left, and cap the guard ahead (Pistol Ammo). Now head up through the doorway and kill the guard ahead (Machine Gun Ammo). Climb down the ladder and shoot the guard down there (nothing). Collect the Med Kit, then head back up the ladder and out through the doorway. Head down one of the ladders below, change to the Shotgun, and make you way to the left, then up to the lower doorway, killing two guards on the way (both nothing). Head through the doorway and shoot the two guys patrolling ahead (Shotgun Ammo & a Med Kit). Then kill the guy in the top right corner (nothing). From the lower section, kill the two guys on the boardwalk (both nothing). Head to the "Door Control," finish it, then head through the doorway to the left. Kill the two guards in the room (Machine Gun Ammo & nothing), then walk up to the yellow tank (it should show a picture of a bomb going to green light). You've just armed the bomb. Now head down and get the Med Kit. Then head back up and to the right. Climb down the ladder and head to the bottom right corner of this room. Go through the doorway but wait until you see a guard come down. Shoot him while he's turned away (nothing) and head up and kill the guard by the cyborg (Med Kit) then head through the door on the right. D) Head down amd kill the guard ahead (Med Kit). Go through the door on your right. After entering the factory change to your 6-yyy. Now run up while holding A you should kill two guards in the process (nothing & Machine Gun Ammo). Walk down and to the right, killing two guards on the way (both nothing). Head up, killing another two guards on the way (nothing & Machine Gun Ammo). Change to your Falcon 2 and head down the ladder slowly. Stay as close to the top wall as you can and and walk slowly to the left until you're directly behind the guard. Make quick work of him (nothing). Now head left to the ladder and then down slowly to the next guard. You know the drill: shoot him (nothing). Head left, but as soon as you pass the white wall head up and climb the ladder to get a Med Kit. Climb down the ladder and head left. Slip Joanna between the two crates and as soon as the patrolling guard goes past below you cap him (Med Kit). Head up through the doorway and change back to the 6-yyy. Head left, killing a guard on the way (nothing). Kill the two guards on the boardwalk from below (nothing & Shotgun Ammo). Head up to the "Door Control," finish it, and head to back to the left. This time go up through the next door. Change to the Shotgun, shoot the guy by the doorway (nothing), and then head through the next doorway. Go up the ladder and kill the two guys up there (nothing & Pistol Ammo). Head left through the doorway and kill the guard ahead (Rocket Launcher) it kills guards instantaneously but you cannot pick up any items on there bodies (since it leaves nothing behind), so only change if you want. Climb down the ladder. Head down and kill the guard by the canister (Rockets). Arm the bomb, then head down and through the doorway to the right and kill all the guards in the next room. There are three: two on the northern boardwalk the other on the ground (Shotgun Ammo & 2×Med Kit) Exit through the door on the bottom right. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Attack Cyborg ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This boss is pretty easy, just walk constantly to avoid his missiles and when he is in line with one of the lasers run up to it and hold A. The longer you go without firing a laser, the more it'll charge up, hitting the Cyborg with more power (and consequently, draining more energy). After his life bar turns all red he will explode and you will exit the factory. E) Change to 6-yyy and head up, killing the guard ahead (Med Kit). Take a left through the barrels and kill the two guards ahead (Med Kit & Machine Gun Ammo). Head further left and kill the guard ahead (Pistol Ammo). Now head up, killing a guard on the way (nothing) and save the hostage. Backtrack down, then head right and then up. The door to the next factory should be to your right so enter it. As soon as you enter, head up. Kill the two guards on the way (Machine Gun Ammo & nothing). Now go down the ladder and head right. Kill the guard ahead (Med Kit). From here, you can either go through the door on the right or kill the two guards below (nothing & Rockets). Then go through the door in the top right corner of this section. Head down and kill the guard ahead (nothing), then go through the door on the right. Kill the guard (Med Kit) and save the hostage there. Exit the room and head up, killing the guard ahead (nothing). Head up the ladder, then head down the right boardwalk killing two guards the way (2×Med Kit). Head right through the doorway and kill the guard patrolling near the "Door Control" (Machine Gun Ammo) and complete it. Head up through the doorway, kill the guard ahead (nothing), and head through one of the doors above. Kill the guard by the canister (nothing), then arm the bomb. Now backtrack down all the way and head left & back up the boardwalk. Head down the left side of the boardwalk and go through the door on your left. Walk up and kill the guard ahead (Med Kit). Backtrack down and head left. Kill the guard ahead (nothing) and collect the Med Kit. Now head up, kill the guard by the exit (Machine Gun Ammo), then exit. F) Kill the guard (nothing) then go through the next door. Head down, killing the five guards on the way (3 have nothing, while the other 2 have Machine Gun Ammo & a Med Kit). Head left and shoot the two guards on the way (Pistol Ammo & nothing). Kill the guy on the boardwalk from the ground (nothing), then climb up the ladder. Head left and down to collect the Med Kit. Go to the "Door Control" and finish it. I recommend changing to your Falcon 2 at this point. Go up through the doorway and walk right then up. Kill the guard ahead (nothing), then go right through the doorway. Head up and to the right and kill the guard (nothing), then go up through the door. Go left, then up, and kill the guard (Pistol Ammo). Head right and down the ladder to save the hostage, then go through the left door. Go up around, then down the ladder. Kill the guard down there (nothing) and arm the bomb. Head back up the ladder and kill the guard that is close (nothing). Go through the top door. Head right, then up. Shoot the guard up ahead (nothing), then head left and down the ladder to collect the Med Kit. Now head through the right door and head up. Blast the guard patrolling near the exit door (Shotgun Ammo), then exit. Be prepared to face Mink Hunter... Mink Hunter: Ah, Ms. Dark, I have been expecting you. If you think you can just waltz in here and destroy my little operation, you are very much mistaken. Joanna Dark: Give it up, Hunter. This is the end of the line. I've placed explosives throughout your factory, and as soon as I've dealt with you I'm going to blow this place apart. Mink Hunter: You'll have to get past me first, girl! Joanna Dark: Have it your own way! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mink Hunter ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mink Hunter is on the left side of the screen, and Joanna is on the right. The two are seperated by a pit of lava, and it's your job to hit Mink Hunter with shurikens (Ninja Stars). When Hunter throws his Ninja Star up and to the right, that's your cue to run to the bottom-right of your platform. When he throws to the bottom-left, run to the upper-right of your platform. NEVER throw directly at Mink Hunter! He'll easily run away from the Ninja Star. Instead, throw the Ninja Star into a wall so that it'll bounce off and into him. Remember to catch (or pick up) your Ninja Star if you miss! This battle takes a bit of practice, but once you find the right groove, you'll beat him easily. Joanna Dark: Mission successful, sir. Daniel Carrington: Very good. Anything to report? Joanna Dark: Although there was heavy resistance, I was able to destroy the facility and eliminate the head of the forces. There was one odd thing. During the landing, I witnessed an aircraft being shot down. I made a note of the co-ordinates. Daniel Carrington: Good, good. You have done well, Joanna. We'll take a look at those co-ordinates and compare them with satellite data for the area. I knew you would make a good agent. I'll expect a full report on my desk before you leave. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ M I S S I O N 2 - C R A S H S I T E / d A T A D Y N E B A S E ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Daniel Carrington: We found nothing, Joanna. In all of the satellite data that grid square is empty. But we got hold of an Air Force pilot's report of a UFO in the area at that time. Joanna Dark: A UFO? More likely it's an experimental aircraft. Daniel Carrington: I agree... but it's still worth investigating. Go and snoop around the crash site, see what you can find. But look out for dataDyne activity in the area. We're getting a lot of strange reports. Joanna Dark: Yes, sir. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ M I S S I O N 3 - P E L A G I C 1 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Max Danger: Joanna, the cleanup operation is well under way. dataDyne are moving the wreckage as we speak. Joanna Dark: Max, hi. How do I access the crash site? Max Danger: You will need two key cards to get access to the crash site. But there's more: I've been in contact with the Institute, and Carrington has instructed me to update your mission objectives. Joanna Dark: What are they? Max Danger: You must steal a laptop computer and download the dataDyne files onto it. The files are stored on a mainframe in the west wing of the base. It is locked by an additional key card. Joanna Dark: Is that all? Max Danger: No, you'll need to switch the power matrix off before you can perform the download. The room containing the matrix is probably deep inside the base. Joanna Dark: Okay. I'd better get moving. Elvis: Joanna, you must gather as much information on the alien ship as possible and get it back to the Carrington Institute. Joanna Dark: Who... who are you? Elvis: A friend. Listen, you must stop dataDyne getting away with the alien wreckage. Joanna Dark: What do you mean? Elvis: You must sink this ship and escape. Joanna Dark: How? Elvis: I'm sorry I can't help you any further. Octopus Prime: Going somewhere? Joanna Dark: Huh?! Octopus Prime: You can't escape that easily. Joanna Dark: Get out of my way! Octopus Prime: Octopus Prime does not follow orders, especially from one such as you. Joanna Dark: Move! Octopus Prime: Oh, no! No! I'm going to turn you into fish food. Daniel Carrington: Joanna, it's good to see you. We feared the worse when we heard you'd been captured. Joanna Dark: It was a little tricky, but I've been well trained. Daniel Carrington: How did you escape? Joanna Dark: You wouldn't believe me if I told you. The crash site was being cleared as I got there. dataDyne were well organized. I was captured at the crash site and transferred with the wreckage to the hold of the Pelagic I research vessel. Daniel Carrington: Did you see the wreckage? Joanna Dark: Yes, it was an alien vessel. Daniel Carrington: Alien? Joanna Dark: Belonging to a race called the Skedar. Daniel Carrington: And dataDyne knew this all along? Joanna Dark: It would seem that dataDyne are heavily involved. It was difficult to discover any further details. The Pelagic I is now resting on the ocean floor, although I don't think dataDyne will leave it there for very long. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ M I S S I O N 4 - C A R R I N G T O N I N S T I T U T E ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Daniel Carrington: The institute is under attack. Joanna Dark: What?! Daniel Carrington: Joanna, you've got to stop them...and quickly. Joanna Dark: Leave it to me. Daniel Carrington: Well done Joanna. That was a close thing. You really have proven yourself as an agent. Joanna Dark: I just did my duty. Danieal Carrinton: From now on we must be cautious. We will have to carry out further investigations of dataDyne to find out what is at the bottom of this. Joanna Dark: I'd like to volunteer for that job, sir. Daniel Carrington: For now I think you should have a break, take it easy for a while. We'll need you back in action very soon... ____________________________________________________________________________ \_______ \ \_______ \ |¯|/ 6. P E R F E C T M I N I - G A M E S / D A R K B O S S E S | | \ \ | |¯¯------------------------------------------------------------ | | / / |_|________________________________________________________________|_||_/ These are all coming soon (hopefully in about a week). Be patient! Target Range ------------ A VERY easy mini-game. Surely you don't need tips! Just hit the guards and don't hit the hostages. Their are individual tips for each Target Range in the Training Mission walkthroughs. Door Control ------------ C'mon, surely you don't need tips for this either! If you're having trouble remembering the "combination," just write it down on a piece of paper. The most the pattern will ever be in the main game is 6 colors/sounds. In the Extras menu, however, it goes up to 8, I believe. If you forget the pattern, just fail twice and a new pattern will be given to you. River Crossing -------------- Now here's a REAL mini-game! It's kinda hard the first time, but it shouldn't pose any long-term trouble. Shoot the guards so they won't kill you. Shoot A crates for ammo. Shoot Med Kits to heal. And shoot G crates for 4 grenades. You have two choices. If your aiming is extremely good, conserve ammo by aiming and using only one bullet to shoot each guard. If you have terrible aiming, then Hold A to fire constantly and just move the cursor to wherever a guard is. Ammo crates are of extreme importance! You never wanna run out of ammo! Grenades are extremely useful for clusters of guards, so save them for that situation (or use them if you run out of ammo). Med Kits are also important, naturally. One big tip: Once you run out of ammo (and Reload flashes on your screen), you're not actually out of ammo! You can STILL shoot guards, so don't let your guard down! Jungle Chase ------------ Ok, I totally sucked at this mini-game the first few tries, but AstroBlue never had any trouble with it. I'll have my own hints by the next update. Hind Attack ----------- This is another hard one the first time. Hints next update... Sniper Mode ----------- Now this mini-game really frustrated me!! Hints next update... Attack Cyborg ------------- Mink Hunter ----------- Octopus Prime ------------- Pelagic 1 Escape ---------------- dataDyne Attack --------------- Movie Player ------------ Watch the various "cinemas" found throughout the game. Unfortunately, you can't choose specific cinemas like you could in the N64 version, so if you want to see a cinema that's found later in the game, you'll have to watch all of the ones up to it. Even more unfortunately, Rare didn't include an option to listen to all the digitized voice :( And yes, I know this isn't a mini-game, but it's in the Extras, so there :P ____________________________________________________________________________ \_______ \ \_______ \ |¯|/ / 7. School is a first priority for both of us, so please be patient! /--------------------------------- |Solo Missions Strategies and Tips| ---------------------------------/ Here are some tips to help you complete your missions: 1) Doorways are life-savers!!! Guards will NEVER follow you into them, and they will NEVER see you if you're in a doorway. Use this to your advantage! Hide in doorways and wait for guards to come on by, or run to the safety of a doorway if you've alerted a guard! 2) KNOW which weapon to use! The Falcon 2 is the weapon of choice in most situations, since it's the only gun that'll get you a silent kill. However, there are some situations in which it is impossible to sneak up on a guard. In those situations, it's best to use the Shotgun, since it'll kill with one hit. Surrounded by multiple guards? Whip out your machine gun! Also, don't worry too much about conserving ammo for the big guns (i.e. Rocket Launcher). Your items usually don't cross over with the next mission, so you might as well use them while you have them! /--------------- |Gameboy Printer| ---------------/ Using your (very expensive, at least for me) Gameboy Printer, you can print out cool images of the game's characters and vehicles. Yes, I've printed them all out, and some of them look pretty cool. More details soon... /------------ |Transfer Pak| ------------/ Using your (kind of expensive) Transfer Pak, you can open up four hard-to-get (and some not-so-hard-to-get) cheats in the N64 version of Perfect Dark: R. Tracker (W/ Weapons Cache Locations) Cloaking Device Hurricane Fists All Guns in Solo Now whose idea was it to open up R. Tracker with the GBC PD? I mean, MAYBE some of those timed cheats are hard to get, but beating the Skedar Leader on Agent really isn't that hard. Then again, one of my friends never did it... /------------------------ |Shameless Self-Promotion| ------------------------/ I don't yet have a Contributor Recognition page at GameFAQs, but AstroBlue does. Check it out: http://www.gamefaqs.com/features/recognition/4127.html Meanwhile, you can also check out my Wario Land 3 FAQ at GameFAQs (plus other sites)! ____________________________________________________________________________ \_______ \ \_______ \ |¯|/ / 10. F A Q s | | \ \ | |¯¯ ----------- | | / / |_|________________________________________________________________|_||_/ Here we shall answer the mystical questions that boggle the mind, such as "What is the meaning of life?" or "Why is the sky blue?" Well, maybe not, but we will answer questions often asked about the game and this Walkthrough. 1) Q. Why isn't there a walkthrough/strategy for ________? A. Because AstroBlue and I are both VERY busy with school (not to mention the work I'm putting into my Wario Land 3 FAQ). Horshack has a couple of weeks of due to the Olympics, but I'm still really busy and unable to do any walkthroughs. We PROMISE that we will eventually have this whole thing finished. Just be patient! 2) Q. Can I e-mail either of you with a question? A. Sure! BUT please follow these rules: 1)Do NOT e-mail us asking about stage or boss strategies that aren't in the walkthrough! We're working as fast as we possibly can w/o falling behind on schoolwork! 2)Do NOT e-mail us asking a question already answered in the FAQ! 3)You may Instant Message us (through AIM), but follow the same rules that you would to e-mail us. PLUS, do NOT put us on your Buddy List or Address Book. We are here to help you, not to be your friends forever. After we answer your question, there is no need for us to talk to you again. I'm sorry if this sounds rude, but we don't need people IMing us every second asking us non-PD related questions. Contrary to popular belief, FAQ writers DO have lives! ____________________________________________________________________________ \_______ \ \_______ \ |¯|/ / 11. V E R S I O N H I S T O R Y | | \ \ | |¯¯ -------------------------------- | | / / |_|________________________________________________________________|_||_/ V 0.1-September 1, 2000- First version. Everything new. Tired of version history after Wario Land 3, so expect only general descriptions from now on. V 0.1a-September 1, 2000- Whoops, made a big mistake regarding fonts. It's been fixed, as well as a few other mistakes. V 0.2-September 5, 2000- Final 2 training mission walkthroughs completed Added Controls for various modes. Varios secrets added to P.Codes/D.Secrets section. Basically, lotsa stuff added. PLEASE don't ask me to tell you all of it :P V 0.3-October 1, 2000- Sorry the update took so long. Things are still bumpy for me at school (AP courses suck), so I haven't had much time to work on the FAQ. Anyhow, Astroblue (Horshack83's new name) has completed the rest of the South American Jungle walkthrough, as well as the walkthrough for the Cyborg Manufacturing Facility (or, as the N64 version would spell it, Felicity :) ). I've added more stuff to some of ther other sections too. By the way, both of us are farther ahead in the game than the walkthrough suggests, so please don't send in any info about future stages! If there's something wrong with the current walkthroughs, then tell us! We're both currently very busy with schoolwork, but once things get smoother, expect the updates to be often. Stuff Planned: Better organization/design. Multiplayer Strategies. More Walkthroughs. More stuff, period! ____________________________________________________________________________ \_______ \ \_______ \ |¯|/ / 12.
