PANDORAS TOWER FAQ/WALKTHROUGH Hey guys, this is my first attempt at a Walkthrough, so please be nice if it's sub par! Anyway, yeah, Pandoras Tower. This is a fantastic game, one of the 3 big Wii RPGS. But this isn't an RPG. Its like Zelda meets Shadow of the Colussus. Sounds weird, I know, but trust me, it works! I will be using a keyword system in this walkthrough, as I like them and it makes the whole thing somewhat easier to navigate! Also, I will attempt to avoid spoilers at any means, unless completely necessary. Also, this line is here to determine the 79 character line limit: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZABCDEFGHIKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ0 22/05/12 VERSION 0.2 Completed up to Crimson Keep. Some stuff could maybe use more explanation. +==========================CONTENTS==========================+ 1. Characters (CHTRS) 2. Affinity (AFNTY) 3. Controls/Battle Mechanics (CNTRL) 4. Walkthrough (WLK00) 4.1 Treetop Tower (WLK01) 4.2 Sheerdrop Spire (WLK02) 4.3 Wellspring Steeple (WLK03) 4.4 Crimson Keep (WLK04) 4.5 Ironclad Turret (WLK05) 4.6 Arcadian Tower (WLK06) 4.7 Rockshard Rampart (WLK07) 4.8 Torrent Peak (WLK08) 4.9 Blazing Citadel (WLK09) 4.A Truegold Tower (WLK0A) 4.B Blacklight Barbican (WLK0B) 4.B1 Dawn Tower (WLKB1) 4.B2 Dusk Tower (WLKB2) 4.C Centrum (WLK0C) 5. Items (ITEMS) 6. Weapons (WEAPN) 7. Nrrrgh? (NRGH?) +============================================================+ 1. Characters (CHTRS) Aeron:- The games main protagonist. Aeron comes from the kingdom of Athos, and was a soldier in the war. While wounded in battle, he deserted the field and ran away, collapsing outside Elenas house. For the past three years he lived here and eventually he and Elena became lovers. Witnessing her transform at the harvest festival, he sets out with Mavda for the thirteen towers Elena:- Aerons lover. Saving Aeron after he collapsed outside her house, the two eventually develop a relationship. While singing at the harvest festival, she is infected by the beasts curse, slowly transforming into a monster. She sets out with Aeron and Mavda to hopefully turn back into a human. Mavda:- A vestra merchant, Mavda meets Aeron and Elena at the harvest festival after Elena has been infected with the easts curse. She guides them to the thirteen towers and gifts Aeron with the Oraclos chain. 2. Affinity (AFNTY) At the games beginning, you are given the Oraclos chain. This chain determines the fate of Elena and Aeron. In other words, the games ending. This gauge may seem really tough to increase, but you have a whole 25 hour adventure to do this in, so don't worry about it too much! The gauge is basically broke up into 10 sections, and as far as I know, this is how many bits are necessary for each of the endings : 0-2 : D 2-4 : C 4-6 : B 6-8 : A 8+ : S Affinity is increased through purchasing gifts at Mavdas shop, or picking things up in the Towers. Things like plants, clothes, decorations, food and beast/master flesh increase Elenas affinity. Also, spam the chat option until she runs out of things to say. You know when this is as she will say: "Is anything the matter?" or "Yes Aeron?" Also, it is possible to decrease the gauge. Things like pelts, ammo, powder and consumables decrease it. Also, letting the curse progress too much (about a quarter of the timer left) decreases it. Tch, women. 3. Controls (CNTRL) 3.1 Controls The game plays like your general hack and slash, except this game has a unique gimmick. Your chain. This thing is the reason I found fighting in this game so fun. I'll explain that in the mechanics bit though! So yeah, buttons!! MOVEMENT/BATTLE A: Attack with weapon/General A button stuff B: Fire chain/Bind chain C: Pick up items Z: Guard/Evade +: Open Menu -: Release Chain (When bound) 1: Quick item menu access 2: Quick map menu access IN OBSERVATORY A: Talk/Accept B: Cancel C: Pick up items Z: Locate Elena +: Open Menu 1: Quick item menu access 2: Quick map menu access 3.2 Mechanics I feel the chain deserves a mention of its own. It makes fighting more intersting and it breaks up what would be a continuous mashing of the A button. The chain functions as your secondary weapon and a grapple. It is used to attack or to hold on and pull things. The control of it is quite simple, but it does take some getting used to: 1. Point the wiimote at the screen 2. If the target can be affected by the chain the cursor goes red. 3. Press B! With the chain you can do a couple of different attacks B, then pull wiimote : Basic chain attack. You can charge this by pulling the chain with C, causing this to deal more damage. B, then B again on same enemy: This binds an enemy in place allowing you to get a couple of hits in without needing to worry about retaliation. B, then B on a different enemy: This chains two enemies together. They can still move, but they both take damage from attacks. B, then B+A: This allows you to throw things. Handy if there is a lot of flying enemies. Keep in mind that some can't be thrown. B, then shake nunchuk: This allows you to pick up enemies and spin them. This is really handy if there are a lot of enemies. It ends when the gauge empties, or the enemy hits a wall. Some enemies, again can't be spun. B(Hold it), the press A. If this is timed right against an enemy (There is a red cross, with gold bits going into the middle.), you can fire the chain at them up to 5 times. 4. Walkthrough (WLK00) For this part of the guide, I will state at which points I returned to the observatory, but I will write the guide as if I didn't. *NOTE* I'm not going to give a guide on how to get the affinity to increase. Just buy gifts when you see fit. If you want the best ending, I recommend trying to get the bar up by 1 section per tower. *ANOTHER NOTE* I will be using the directions on the map, so if a door is on your right, but map shows it proceeding left, I will say it as left. *ANOTHER ANOTHER NOTE* The room names are made up. I just figured it would help people understand where I am. I thought it was a nice thought :3 *ANOTHER ANOTHER ANOTHER NOTE* (I'm really sorry...) The boxes, as far as i am aware, contain RANDOM drops. So I cannot state what I find in these. However, books, and items that shine red will be noted in this walkthrough. So yeah. Yeah :3. +============================================================================+ TREETOP TOWER (WLK01) CHAINS TO SMASH : 1 Right at the offset we are thrown into the first tower. This is only a quick run to introduce the timer. There is no timer for this run. =FLOOR 1= ENTRANCE HALL F1 Run forward and head left. Smash the boxes for 7 coins. Head right and smash these two for more coins. Head through the first door, the top one is locked. ============================================================================== This is also probably worth noting. The statue of the god of aios is in the centre of this room and you'll notice that he is holding a chain. These chains stop quick entry to the Master of the tower, so you have to smash them. You'll notice he is holding one chain, so we will only have to smash one. Funnily enough. ============================================================================== STORAGE1 Climb the platform if you want. Proceed through the door. STORAGE2 First monster! The game gives you a tutorial. Just don't die. For a first encounter he hits surprisingly hard. You can't go forward so exit the tower. -Return to observatory- So after the scene, return to where we left the tower. Mavda gives you [a harvest of horror]. +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ So yeah, we are now on a timer. It isn't too unreasonable. It takes about 45 minutes to an hour for the whole thing to empty. So just be careful, time your runs and plan your route accordingly, and collect as much flesh as you can. And now we begin the tower proper! +---------------------------------------------------------------------------+ LIFT ROOM F1 Smash the crates for [Treetop: In Bloom]. Climb up the platform and open the chest for some [Mercury]. Before using the lift, open the door south, this leads back to the entrance. Flip the switch and proceed. =FLOOR 2= LIFT ROOM F2 Don't go up the other lift. Go through the door to your right. GIANT TREE F2 We're above the entrance! I recommend killing the two monsters for some flesh. Go all the way round and smash the boxes to find [Treetop: Wasp Study]. Go through the door heading west. PASSAGE1 2F Just head through the door south. Get the [Warriors Amulet] if you oh so desire. PASSAGE2 2F Just head through the door east. HIVE ROOM Get rid of the hive, you can't proceed unless you do. Just fire the chain at it and pull until it reveals a head (or whatever the hell it is), killing the wasps as you do so. Proceed north. +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ The door that continues east isn't accessible until you clear the game once. I will explain this later in the FAQ +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ GIANT TREE 2F Just follow the path east and you will eventually be on Floor 3 =FLOOR 3= GIANT TREE 3F Just proceed South. FOUNTAIN ROOM Use the fountain if you want, it restores health. Climb the platform and smash the boxes for [Treetop: Plant Food]. PASSAGE2 F3 Jump over the platforms. Proceed North. CHAIN ROOM We can't access the Sealing Chain yet, so head north and open the chest for [The Sealing Chains]. This will, funnily enough, explain a bit about the sealing chains. Scale the wall and proceed to the 4F =FLOOR 4= THE MASTERS DOOR We cannot access the master yet so proceed West, smashing the boxes on the way to find [Treetop Master]. ROSE DEN Smash the boxes to find [Treetop: Thorns] Getting close to the rose will cause it to flee, so just head back. THE MASTERS DOOR Approach the rose and follow it down to floor 3. =FLOOR 3= CHAIN ROOM The game talks you through this, but I'll explain anyway. Fire the chain at the mount, and then the rose. This holds it in place. Hack away at the rose. You can now access the door! Fire your chain at it and pull. BINDING ROOM Hit the chain and return to floor 4 *CHAIN 1 SMASHED* You can now access the master. [RETURN] -I returned here for the sake of it. Inventory was kinda full anyway :3 - +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ Figured I should mention this here. Give Elena the flesh first. Any leftovers you can sell to Mavda. Also, she buys the texts you find in the towers off you. Buy Elena gifts, and give her things. Provided you want the best ending of course. +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ =FLOOR 4= THE MASTERS DOOR You can enter now, so press onwards for your first Master Fight! +=========================THE MASTER OF TREETOP TOWER========================+ Recommended Level: 3 Before initiating any sort of fight, run to the other side of the room and smash the boxes for an [Unreadable Old Note]. I friggin love the boss music here. Anyway, this is your first boss, so he isn't too hard. He won't attack until you attack him, so you get a free shot at the master flesh on his head. His attacks are as follows: 1. He fires roots out the ground around him. He does this if you get close to him, but you have plenty of time to dodge. 2. He turns his arm into a giant root and tries to hit you. Again, slow, so just dodge. When he does this, a shiny blue thing appears on his arm. Hit it with your chain and pull. Free shot at the master flesh. 3. He stops at the ground and roots chase you. If you are grappling, stop and run. The shiny blue thing appears in his stomach(?). At 1/3 health, roots fire up from the ground after the animation. *4. He jumps in the air and stomps, causing roots to sprout up where you were standing. Just don't stop moving and you'll be fine. When a Master is at about 1/3 of his health, they will roar, and the camera will zoom in at them. This is the game basically saying its gonna get a little harder. Don't worry about it for this guy though, he only attacks a little more frequently and gets one new move* that only affects you when you go near him. So yeah, empty his health bar, and pull at the Master Flesh to end the fight! +============================================================================+ You'll notice that the chain gauge has increased. This happens after every master. So now we return to the observatory. Give Elena the Master flesh and watch the scenes. MY STATS Aeron Lv : 4 HP : 320 ATK: 192 DEF: 296 CHN: 204 Sword Lv: 1 AFFINITY: 0 Its the first tower, so i haven't got past the first mark, but yeah, I am ALMOST there. I'd say try and get it to one. Also, if you noticed, I didn't go up the lift at floor 2. It leads to two of the red doors you can't access. So yeah. One down, 11 to go! +============================================================================+ SHEERDROP SPIRE WLK02 CHAINS TO SMASH : 2 Before we even enter the tower, speak to Mavda. She has new items. Restock if necessary. Also, check the cellar of the observatory, new items pop up from time to time here. Second tower! Yeah! I found this one a bit tougher than Treetop, but as it is only the second tower, the game doesn't make it too hard. Yet. =FLOOR 1= ENTRANCE HALL F1 God of Aios again. Except this time, he is holding two chains. This means two chains need to be smashed to get to the Master. Door West needs a key, ignore it. Proceed North LIFT ROOM F1 New enemies! You can latch onto their swords and remove them, or even throw them back at them! Anyway, kill these guys. Go to the top right corner here and collect [Sheerdrop: The Lifts]. This gives you a rundown on how to operate the lifts throughout the tower. Basically, use your chain to latch onto the lever, and hold c. Easy. =FLOOR 2= LIFT ROOM F2 There is a ledge you can jump down to here if you want. Proceed South to continue. ENTRANCE HALL F2 Head east and smash the boxes to find [Sheerdrop: On ore]. Head west until you come to a dead end. There is a rock on the wall you can latch on to (It shines, you can't miss it). From here, you can see two more. Latch on to the one closest to you, and then the next. Smash the box here for [Sheerdrop: Gold Ore]. This book basically explains how you can use rocks to make ledges. I'll explain this when we meet them. Proceed South SHEERDROP: OUTSIDE F2 You get a little tutorial on firing the chain to bind two enemies. Target one enemy and fire, then do the same to another! Now they both tke damage if you hit one! Proceed south. Turn left, chain onto the ledge and climb. Now, there is a pointy gold rock and a fat gold one, which is stuck into the ground. This one is used to replenish the pointy ones, if for some reason you lose it. Just use the chain on it and pull to recover it. Take the pointy gold rock, and aim at the shiny blue wall. Throw it at it with A & B pressed and there you go! New ledge! Now you can proceed. Before you do though, head to the other end of the platform to find another ledge! Use a rock to latch onto a shiny wall to find a [Diamond]. Return to the other platform. Latch on to the ledge, and then the next one. You can't proceed down the opening yet, so latch on to the other ledge at the other end. Use the lift to head up to the 3F. =FLOOR 3= SHEERDROP: OUTSIDE 3F Head west. Find a pointy rock and the other one that recovers them. Shiny blue wall at the top of the screen, fire the rock at it. Latch on and climb. ============================================================================= Ignore the opening you can jump down. It only contains one of the red doors that you can't open yet. ============================================================================= =FLOOR 4= SHEERDROP: OUTSIDE 4F Don't use the lift yet, head north. ENTRANCE HALL 4F Proceed to the dead end. Drop down to the ledge. Drop down again, and again. More ledges! Keep falling. =FLOOR 2= LIFT ROOM F2 Proceed down the path. There are a lot of bats here that are easy to kill, and some of the stuff they drop can be sold for an okay price, so kill them! Drop down West. Before you do ANYTHING here, head to the white thing next to the chain door, hit it. A ladder falls, you now have quick and easy access to floor 3 of the tower. Open the chain door. BINDING ROOM 1 Smash the chain. *CHAIN 1 SMASHED* This time, we have to find another, so exit the room. A scene with Elena plays here. LIFT ROOM F2 Before we do anything, there is a chest we can access. Jump over the gap and open it to find a [Shard of Divinity]. These are your best friend if you are running low on time and don't think you'll be able to make it back to Elena. These warp you out of the tower and back to the observatory. Anyway, climb the ledges and return to floor 3. [RETURN] (I left here because my inventory was full. Also, I got my affinity up here. The power of love and all that. :3) =FLOOR 3= ENTRANCE HALL 3F Pointy rock. Shiny wall. You know the drill by now. Climb up and head south =FLOOR 4= SHEERDROP: OUTSIDE 4F NOW we can use the lift! Use it and go to floor 5. =FLOOR 5= SHEERDROP: OUTSIDE 5F Don't use the lift yet. Proceed west and use the ladder. =FLOOR 4= SHEERDROP: OUTSIDE 4F Use the fountain if necessary. Hit the ladder and use it. Before using the door, hit the other ladder. Another shortcut! Proceed North. PASSAGE 4F Kill these guys. Throwing one of them at another kills them both in one hit. Pick up the [Unreadable Old Note] and [Sheerdrop Master] and proceed north. ENTRANCE HALL 4F Proceed to the dead end. The game states you can go along the thing platform, but before that, drop down and open the chest for a [Sage Stone]. This bad boy revives you when you run out of health so equip it. Proceed and follow the chain. Grab on to the hook with your chain to swing. The game gives you a tutorial on this. Use the control stick to gain momentum and press b to release. Simple. Release and open the chain door. BINDING ROOM 2 Smash the chain. *CHAIN 2 SMASHED* Now we can access the Masters room! Leave the room. [RETURN] (I left here cause the only flesh I got on my first run was the rubbish beast flesh. Women are so needy. On that note, I don't recommend leaving towers without either dripping flesh or pulsating flesh. You'll understand the further you get in the game.) ENTRANCE HALL 4F Return to the outside. Usse the hook, then shimmy across the wall. SHEERDROP: OUTSIDE 4F Head back up to the 5th floor using the ladders. =FLOOR 5= SHEERDROP: OUTSIDE 5F Now we can use the lift. Get a piece of the ore and drag it onto the lift. The lift will be unable to move after a few seconds. You will see a shiny wall at the top left. Fling the ore onto it and use your chain to grab it before the lift begins dropping. Climb up and hit the ladders. =FLOOR 6= SHEERDROP: OUTSIDE 6F On your right, there is a grappling hook. Swing from it and look! The Masters door! +=======================THE MASTER OF SHEERDROP SPIRE========================+ Recommended Level: 6 Again, this guy won't attack you until you attack the flesh. It's at his back, shiny and white and stuff. First though, run right and get the [Unreadable Old Note]. You'll notice 4 pillars around the master. You need to use these to hold him in place, cause remember, he doesn't really want to be killed. So yeah, start the fight! Grapple and pull! And it would seem that was only a shell. He'll jump to face you. He has a few attacks. 1. He generates a giant ball of or above his head and smashes it at the ground. This can destroy the pillars, but more of them get made during the fight. 2. He tries to hit you with his arm. This attacks pretty standard. But if you are too close, he tries to hit you a couple more times. 3. Colourful beams fire around his arms. He then hits the ground and swipes. This attack regenerates the pillars. 4. He pushes back towards your location. This only occurs when you are pulling at his flesh. Basic strategy. Hit him with the chain on one of his legs or arms. Run behind him. Release the chain and pull at his flesh. Again, at about 1/3 of his health, he gets angry and roars. He now moves faster, attacks more, and can create pillars anywhere he wants. Not much tougher, you just have to be a little more aware. +============================================================================+ So yeah, chain gauge boost, and a return to the observatory! MY STATS Aeron Lv : 7 HP : 360 ATK: 244 DEF: 354 CHN: 246 Sword Lv: 1 AFFINITY: 1 I was about halfway through the bar, but still. In later towers you get more money, so its easier to increase it after like the fourth or fifth. Scenes and stuff, then the next tower! +============================================================================+ WELLSPRING STEEPLE (WLK03) CHAINS TO SMASH : 2 So yeah, after some recap and backstory. go speak to Mavda. She gives you [Bounty on Her Head]. Third Tower! It doesn't get too hard. Yet. Just note, that for some reason, you can't swim. =FLOOR 1= ENTRANCE HALL This room surprisingly lacks rubble. Anyway, proceed North. GIANT WATERWHEEL 1F Proceed east and use the grappling hook. Proceed through the east door EAST ROOM The door locks, so you have to kill all the enemies. These guys jump into the water and reappear at random. They also fire a torrent of water at you that reduces attack damage. I had a bit of trouble with these guys. Considering that its a really small space and you've got to kill three of them. Open the chest when you are done for a [Shard of Divinity]. Head back through the door. GIANT WATERWHEEL 1F You can't proceed through the door close to you, so head through the further door heading north. WEST STAIRCASE 1F Hit the box until it is at the ledge. Climb up and head to the second floor =FLOOR 2= WEST STAIRCASE 2F Head south through the door. GIANT WATERWHEEL 2F Follow the path and proceed through the door west. STREAM ROOM 2F Grab the crate and pull on it. You'll notice a platform sticking out nearer the middle of the room. Put the crate next to it and jump over. Kill monsters if necessary. At the other side of the room, head right and smash the boxes to find [Wellspring: Water Gate]. Proceed up to the third floor =FLOOR 3= STREAM ROOM 3F Proceed through the door east. GIANT WATERWHEEL 3F A scene. In order to proceed through the west north door, you need to first power the waterwheel. Anyway, proceed east and shimmy along the wall. Open the chest to find a new weapon, [Twinblades]. The damage is weaker than the sword, but they can attack faster and land more hits. Anyway, proceed north. This giant switch is one of the two that power the water wheel. Pull it with the chain. Now, head back to the wall you shimmied across. You'll notice there a ledges you can latch onto if you drop down. Do so. =FLOOR 2= GIANT WATERWHEEL 2F Proceed through the southern door. SOUTHERN SKY PASSAGE You need to kill these guys otherwise you can't proceed. The armoured one is the same as the other two monsters in the room, except you need to pull his helmet off to deal damage. The door west cannot be opened without a key, so just pull on the chain door. BINDING ROOM 1 Do your thing and leave the room. A scene occurs. I also found [Silver coins] at the right hand wall. *CHAIN 1 SMASHED* Theres another to find. Don't get hasty now. SOUTHERN SKY PASSAGE Go back to the waterwheel GIANT WATERWHEEL 2F Proceed North. EASTERN STAIRCASE 2F Smash the crates to the right to find [Wellspring: The Wheel]. Head down the stairs. But, oh no! There are no stairs! Theres a hook though. Use it and jump down to the first floor. Also, for reference, if you swing high enough there is a hook that allows you to go back up to the 2F. =FLOOR 1= EASTERN STAIRCASE 1F Smash the door to allow quick access to GIANT WATERWHEEL 1F [RETURN] (Finding that exit, i decided to leave. Also, I got pulsating flesh off the big guy and my timer was running low.) =FLOOR 2= EASTERN STAIRCASE 2F Proceed up the stairs and head for the third floor. Use the fountain if necessary. =FLOOR 3= EASTERN STAIRCASE 3F Proceed South through the door. GIANT WATERWHEEL 3F Activate the switch! Waterwheel moves! Hell yeah! Use the waterwheel, until you get back round to the third floor, you will notice a hook you can grapple on to. This leads to the previously mentioned door that you couldn't open (Or get to, as I have just noticed). Do so, and proceed through the door. WESTERN STAIRCASE 3F As per, head up to the next floor! =FLOOR 4= WESTERN STAIRCASE 4F Smash the crate to the left for [Wellspring: My Fish]. Proceed through the door. TORRENT ROOM 4F Uuuuuurgh. I HATE this bit. Anyway, yeah. Guidey stuff. The big torrent in the middle of the room, pieces of rock pop out the water. You can latch onto these with your chain. Anyway, head ALL the way round to the other indent in the wall to find [Wellspring Master]. Now to work on finding this chain. Before even thinking of climbing the torrent, get rid of the fish swimming in it. Grab them with the chain and pull them out. Head to the west side of the room and latch on to a rock (You need to grab onto the rock at the northwest of the torrent). Grapple onto the hook. =FLOOR 5= TORRENT ROOM 5F Proceed through the chain door. BINDING ROOM 2 Break the chain, leave. Standard. Also, I found a [Rainbow Scale] next to the chain. If you find this, keep it. Trust me. I'll say when it should be used ;D. *CHAIN 2 SMASHED* You can now access the Masters Room! [RETURN] (I left, cause I had more books and I NEED to get that affinity up to 2) TORRENT ROOM 5F Head back down to the fourth floor. =FLOOR 4= TORRENT ROOM 4F What you need to do now, is head to the southeast section of the torrent. Wait for a ledge to come out and latch on to it. You'll eventually see a hook. Use it to swing onto the platform. =FLOOR 5= TORRENT ROOM 5F Head through the southeast door! WELLSPRING: OUTSIDE Follow the path to the masters chamber. If you want, you can go through the door to the west. TORRENT ROOM 5F Pick up the [Panacea] and return. WELLSPRING: OUTSIDE Master time! +=====================THE MASTER OF WELLSPRING STEEPLE=======================+ Recommended Level: 10 Again, this guy won't attack you until you attack him. So run round the room until you see some crates and smash them. You will find an [Unreadable Old Note]. Now approach the Master. Now you'll notice, the Master flesh moves round a set path on this guy. So aiming for this one is gonna be a bit tougher. Also, if you look carefully, you'll see a cloud floating around the same track. When you grab the Master Flesh, it stops moving. If this cloud catches up with it, It will begin travelling down your chain. When this happens, I recommend pulling on the chain, unless you the gauge is ALMOST full, cause this can deal quite a lot of damage, and it ALSO lowers defence. You do NOT want this. What further complicates things is that this guy rotates and moves around (albeit slowly), so in order to fill up the chain gauge, you may have to have a couple of attempts at the flesh. Before attacking, I felt I should mention, I found this guy quite a bit harder than the last two. With the other two, you didn't have anything to really worry about. With this guy, stay on edge. He is slightly more unpredictable. I didn't die or anything, just have a few medicenes ready. So yeah, the masters attacks: 1. The hazy cloud thing. I explained this. Just be cautious. 2. There are several cannons on its body. These follow you and fire a torrent of water at you. If you expect one is about to fire, evade. 3. There is also a cannon on the flesh's track. This cannon can also fire a watery cloud. If you are in the middle of grabing the master flesh, release, and run around bit. At about 1/3 (as per) this guy gets a tad worse. He grows 4 tentacles. Do NOT get close to these unless you want to take one to the face. Especially if your defence has been lowered. They can hurt. Also, the cannon on the flesh's track begins to move faster and attack more frequently. Again, caution. Also, he gets a new attack. 4. The guy flails ALL his tentacles around. As stated, on low defence, ouch. The positive to this though, is the flesh stops moving. So if possible, land a hit. +============================================================================+ Yeah, chain boost and stuff. Head back to the observatory. Scenes and stuff. Yeah! MY STATS: MY STATS Aeron Lv : 10 HP : 380 ATK: 263 DEF: 370 CHN: 278 Sword Lv: 1 TwinB Lv :1 AFFINITY: 2 At least now I won't get the crappy ending. +============================================================================+ CRIMSON KEEP (WLK04) CHAINS TO SMASH : 2
