                                 Introduction                            [0001]
===============================================================================

Scattered throughout the world are hidden Gossip Stones and Goddess Walls. You
can find their locations by finding a group of 3 or more Blessed Butterflies.
Play your Goddess's Harp at these locations to make a Gossip Stone or Goddess
Wall appear. Not all groups of Blessed Butterflies will mean there is a Gossip
Stone or Goddess Wall in the area, but most will.

The Gossip Stones will throw you a treasure when first uncovered, and will
provide game hints afterwards. Goddess Walls can be interacted with by
preparing a Skyward Strike in front of the wall. You will be able to draw a
symbol on the wall to obtain various rewards.

This guide assumes you are familiar with the areas of the game, and know how to
use directions such as north, southeast, etc...

===============================================================================
                          Gossip Stones - Faron Woods [1000]
===============================================================================

Gossip Stone #01

- This should be the first Gossip Stone you come across. Once you obtain the
  Harp, Gorko the Goron will help you discover this one when you run into him.
  It's right near the "Behind The Temple" Bird Statue.

- "Butterflies tend to gather around Gossip Stones like myself. If you find a
  spot swarming with butterflies, play a tune of great beauty and a Gossip
  Stone might just pop out of the ground with a boing-oing!"

Gossip Stone #02

- This one is in the Deep Woods, just south of the Skyview Temple. Coming from
  the Temple, there are a few ledges you can climb where the main road ends.
  The Gossip Stone is on one of these.

- "Glittering Spores cause something to happen when they are thrown on bugs or
  monsters. They can be collected from sparkly mushrooms."

Gossip Stone #03

- You'll find this Gossip Stone in Lake Floria, in the area with the entrance
  to the Ancient Cistern. It's right near the "Floria Waterfall" Bird Statue.

- "They say drawing a symbol of love upon certain walls will heal your wounds."

===============================================================================
                         Gossip Stones - Eldin Volcano [1001]
===============================================================================

Gossip Stone #04

- Just west of the Earth Temple entrance, there are some ledges. Dig up the
  mounds of dirt in the area until you find one that reveals a steam geyser.
  Ride this to the ledge above, where the Gossip Stone awaits.

- "I've heard some of the Goddess Cubes unlock all sorts of treasure when they
  fly up into the sky. Some even hold a Piece of Heart."

Gossip Stone #05

- Once you obtain the Fireshield Earrings and gain access to Volcano Summit,
  the first area you enter will have three exits. Take the western exit where
  you'll find a waterfall and a ledge you can jump off of. You will need to
  jump off the ledge and skydive around the rock in front of you. On the other
  side is a platform you can land on (this is a Goddess Cube location). From
  here, work your way back up the vines using your Clawshots. You'll end up on
  a ledge above your entry point. Up here is the Gossip Stone.

- "Rumor has it that drawing an arrow shape on certain walls will cause an
  object of similar shape to appear."

Gossip Stone #06

- Once you obtain the Fireshield Earrings and gain access to Volcano Summit,
  the first area you enter will have three exits. Take the northern exit, where
  you'll end up in a room that requires you to douse some mechanisms with water
  to advance. The Gossip Stone is between the first and second archways, among
  some dirt mounds.

- "Rumor has it there's a Piece of Heart hidden somewhere nearby."

  If you have already obtained the Piece of Heart, it will continue on:

  "Oh, but since you've already picked it up, this obviously doesn't come as a
  big surprise to you. Hmph."

Gossip Stone #07

- Once you return to Eldin Volcano in search of the Fire Dragon, there will be
  platforms flowing down the lava in certain areas. This will give you access
  to two new caves. The first cave is southeast of the "Volcano Ascent" Bird
  Statue. From the statue, head east into the tunnel and past a huge steam
  geyser (the one that takes you back up near Volcano Summit). South of this
  are some ledges with vines and dirt mounds. Drop down to the lowest ledge and
  hop across a platform as it comes by to access the cave. The Gossip Stone is
  in the cave.

* If you activate the Gossip Stone while still recovering your gear, you will
  have to reactivate it later on. It will say something different during your
  gear recovery, and will go back underground once Eldin returns to normal.

- "Deep underground, below this volcano, you'll find treasure-loving Mogmas.
  These days, most of them are content with staying down in their lair, where
  they do nothing but relax all day."

Gossip Stone #08

- Once you return to Eldin Volcano in search of the Fire Dragon, there will be
  platforms flowing down the lava in certain areas. This will give you access
  to two new caves. The second cave is east of the Earth Temple entrance, just
  down a ramp past the Bokoblin camp. You will pass by the cave when searching
  for your Slingshot. The Gossip Stone is in the cave.

* If you activate the Gossip Stone while still recovering your gear, you will
  have to reactivate it later on. It will say something different during your
  gear recovery, and will go back underground once Eldin returns to normal.

- "I hear the dragon that lives at the top of the volcano is awfully chatty. So
  chatty, they say, that he's even willing to talk about matters outside his
  own realm!"

===============================================================================
                        Gossip Stones - Lanayru Desert [1002]
===============================================================================

Gossip Stone #09

- This Gossip Stone is at the northeast side of the wall in front of the Temple
  of Time (that Ghirahim smashes). There is a Timeshift Stone near it.

- "It's been said that the best way to snag a rare insect is to approach it
  slowly and use a Big Bug Net."

Gossip Stone #10

- In Lanayru Caves (the crossroads between the main areas of Lanayru Province),
  there is a Gossip Stone in the middle of a circle of Bomb Flowers.

- "They say somewhere in this vast desert, there's a dragon who loves putting
  the abilities of those who visit him to some kind of test. If you can master
  the challenges he throws at you, you'll be rewarded with a shield stronger
  than any other."

Gossip Stone #11

- In Lanayru Caves (the crossroads between the main areas of Lanayru Province),
  there is a Gossip Stone near the exit to Lanayru Gorge, near some piles of
  sand.

- "Oddly enough, it seems that drawing a circle on certain strange walls will
  produce something round."

===============================================================================
                            Gossip Stones - Skyloft                      [1003]
===============================================================================

Gossip Stone #12

- If you venture near the Waterfall Cave entrance in northeastern Skyloft and
  look up, you'll see some islands you can Clawshot your way up to. Once you're
  on the island with the waterfall, the Gossip Stone is right beside the ledge
  you can skydive off of (to retrieve the Rattle).

- "You're a weird one, climbing all the way up here. Hey, if you tried to dive
  off the ledge here, I bet you could land in the nest on top of the tower down
  there. But what do I know? I'm a stone."

===============================================================================
                            Gossip Stones - The Sky [1004]
===============================================================================

Gossip Stone #13

- If you travel to Pumpkin Landing, this Gossip Stone can be found outside, at
  the east side of The Lumpy Pumpkin.

- "Apparently, if you draw a symbol of money on certain walls, you can make an
  easy fortune."

Gossip Stone #14

- This Gossip Stone can be found on Bamboo Island. Head inside where the Clean
  Cut minigame is and check the back of the room.

- "You can get a valuable treasure if you succeed in cutting the bamboo stalk
  over 28 times at Clean Cut. Peater, who was formerly the teen heartthrob of
  Skyloft, claims to hold the record with 43 slices. Or so he says..."

Gossip Stone #15

- There is an island east of the Lanayru Desert opening that houses two Goddess
  Chests. Skydive into the small hole, and the Gossip Stone can be found here,
  among some red mushrooms.

- "They say it's possible to summon Fairies by drawing three triangles upon
  certain walls."

Gossip Stone #16

- Inside the Thunderhead, on a small island just south of Bug Rock, you can
  discover this Gossip Stone.

- "You may get rare and difficult-to-catch bugs if you finish the Bug Wrangler
  challenge in Bug Heaven within two minutes."

===============================================================================
                      Gossip Stones - The Sheikah Stones [1005]
===============================================================================

The Sheikah Stones will provide you with game hint videos for difficult areas
if you speak with them. More hints will appear as you progress through the game
and you can always watch old hints at any time. One Sheikah Stone is permanent,
while the other only appears during a certain event. You don't need to play
your harp to make these appear.

Sheikah Stone #01

- Between the Knight Academy and the Sparring Hall in Skyloft is a Sheikah
  Stone, whom you will meet early on in your adventure.

Sheikah Stone #02

- The second Sheikah Stone will appear for you in Eldin Volcano during Link's
  gear recovery portion of the game.

===============================================================================
                    Gossip Stones - The Moonlight Merchant [1006]
===============================================================================

If you enter the Waterfall Cave in Skyloft during the night, you will come
across a group of Blessed Butterflies halfway through the cave. You can summon
the Moonlight Merchant here, who will sell you rare treasures... for a steep
price.

===============================================================================
                          Gossip Stones - Easter Eggs [1007]
===============================================================================

Most attacks on Gossip Stones will cause them to rock back and forth slightly.
If you use certain items however, they will do different, sometimes comical
things.

- Playing your Goddess's Harp will make them dance.
- Using your whip up or down will cause them to rock back and forth heavily.
- Using your whip left or right will cause them to spin around.
- The Gust Bellows will cause them to shrink.
- If you shoot them with your Bow, a Green Rupee will pop out, every time!
- If you place a bomb near them, they will blast off like a rocket and explode
  in the sky!

===============================================================================
                          Goddess Walls - Faron Woods [1008]
===============================================================================

Goddess Wall #01

- You will probably come across this Goddess Wall when revisiting the Skyview
  Temple. When you first enter the temple, you will head down some spiral
  stairs. Check the wall directly across from the shortcut to the northern
  rooms.

Goddess Wall #02

- This Goddess Wall is in the Ancient Cistern, in 1F. Make your way to the
  western most room (you have to swim there). Check the wall on the ground
  floor, on the south side of the big whirlpool in the middle of the room.

Goddess Wall #03

- The second Goddess Wall in the Ancient Cistern is in B1. If you've already
  completed the temple, you can get there via the rope you had to climb up
  during your time there. Head to the northeastern section and check the wall
  near the Riddle Stone and Bomb Flower.

Goddess Wall #04

- This Goddess Wall can be found at the Sealed Grounds, just behind the temple.
  You won't be able to activate this one until Gorko the Goron asks for your
  help, which will be later in the game than when you help him uncover a Gossip
  Stone.

===============================================================================
                         Goddess Walls - Eldin Volcano [1009]
===============================================================================

Goddess Wall #05

- The first of three Goddess Walls in the Fire Santuary can be found in 1F.
  Soon after you rescue the first Mogma, you end up at a broken bridge area
  with some Bokoblin Archers and three Clawshot Marks. Instead of crossing the
  gap, drop down and check the western wall.

Goddess Wall #06

- The second Goddess Wall in the Fire Santuary is found in B1. Once you take
  the leap of faith, head up the stairs and check the wall in the hallway.

Goddess Wall #07

- The third Goddess Wall in the Fire Santuary is also found in B1. Take the
  leap of faith and start making your way back up to 1F. On the way you'll end
  up in a large spiral room with a staircase. Check the wall on the back of the
  staircase on the ground floor.

===============================================================================
                        Goddess Walls - Lanayru Desert [1010]
===============================================================================

Goddess Wall #08

- This Goddess Wall can be found on the Sandship. Activate the Timeshift Stone
  while on the deck to revert the ship to the past. Climb the main sail and
  work your way to the stern (back) of the ship using the pulleys. From there,
  use your Clawshots and drop down to the very back of the ship. On one side is
  a chest with a Piece of Heart. On the other is a wall you should check.

Goddess Wall #09

- There is a second Goddess Wall on the Sandship. From the main deck, take the
  doors towards the bow (front) of the ship. Head down the stairs in this room
  and check the wall on the side of the staircase. The time period for this
  shouldn't matter.

===============================================================================
                           Goddess Walls - Drawings                      [1011]
===============================================================================

There are several symbols you can draw on a Goddess Wall. Different symbols
reward different things. Releasing the button will end your drawing, so you
will need to do all your lines in one go.

- Drawing a circle will reward you with 30 Bombs.
- Drawing a heart will reward you with 10 Recovery Hearts.
- Drawing an arrow (just the shaft and point) will reward you with 30 Arrows.
- Drawing a Rupee will reward you with a various amount of Rupees.
- Drawing a Triforce will reward you with 3 Fairies.
- Drawing anything else will reward you with 3 Recovery Hearts.
