EVEN IF YOU ARE ALLOWED TO COPY THIS LIST YOU MUST GIVE ALL CREDIT TO ME. ____________________________________________________________________________________ THE DIFFERENT CHARACTER CLASSES There are 9 different classes but you can only chose a MAXIMUM of 4 different people/classes. (darn, I would have liked to choose 'em all) The different classes are as follow - NOTE: All classes can GM the "Ancient Weapon/Blaster" skill. PALADIN (my favourite) ---------------------- Paladins are what you can call holy warriors. They are fighters and holy men. They can use ALL weapons and armor, learn spells of Mind, Spirit and Body Magic and can even do a bit of Light and Dark Magic. (it depends whether you take the path of light or dark) Strength - GrandMaster Mace, Shield, Repair Item. Master in all self magic and plate armor. ARCHER ------ Archers are best with bows and arrows - duh. They are good with spears but can't carry shields. Also, they can only wear armor up to Chainmail. They can learn ALL elemantal magic and can even do a bit of Light and Dark Magic. (it depends whether you take the path of light or dark) Strength - GrandMaster Chain, Bow and Perception. Master in all elemental magic. RANGER ------ What can you call Rangers? - AWESOME! They use all weapons except the mace, use all armor except plate and can learn ALL Magic except Light and Dark. Besides those little chinks, they can do ANYTHING! Unfortunately, most things they learn only go up to Master level. Strength - GrandMaster Axe, ID Monster. Master Leather/Chain and Shield. Expert in all magic except Light/Dark. SORCERER -------- Sorcerers specialize in elemental Magic. They suck at battle, which is why you should not let them be the captians-of-combat. They also can ONLY wear leather armor. A bit pathetic really. But still very useful because they can learn GrandMaster elemental magic and GrandMaster Light and Dark Magic. Liches (2nd dark promo) are immune to Mind and Body Magic while Archmages (2nd Light promo) are not. Strength - GrandMaster elemental magic, light/dark magic and ID Item. THIEF ----- Thieves have all the underworld skills. They steal, detect and disarm traps among other skills. Experienced thieves can learn Elemental Magic. Strength - GrandMaster Dagger, Leather, Disarm Trap, Stealing. Master Perception, Merchant. KNIGHT ------ Knights can use ALL weapons AND armor. However, they don't have a drop of Magic in them. Nothing. However, they can learn a heck of a lot of useful stuff. Strength - GrandMaster Shield, Spear, Sword, Plate, Armsmaster. MONK ---- Monks are kind of like street wrestlers who can learn Body, Spirit and Mind Magic. They specialize in hand-to-hand combat and dodging attacks. Strength - GrandMaster Unarmed, Dodging, Staff. DRUID ----- Druids learn ALL Magic except Light and Dark. They are fragile and can use only SOME weapons but unlike sorcerers, they can use maces and shields as well. Strength - Master in all magics except light/dark. CLERIC ------ Clerics learn Body, Spirit and Mind Magic. They can use maces, staves and bows/crossbows and can wear armor as heavy as Chain-Mail. They also carry a shield. They are the ONLY ones who can learn GrandMaster Spirit, Body and Mind magic. They also can learn GrandMaster Light and Dark magic. Unfortunately, you get there late in the game. Here is how to get to it. When on the Shoals Map (underwater map) you will find a sunken pirate ship in the middle right side of the map. There is a chest hidden behind some rocks on the bottom of the ship. In the chest is a bottle with a temple inside. Right click on the Temple in a Bottle and do what it tells you do.
