You're taking on the role of one of the eight girls currently playable and have to beat all the other opponents but the part that is wierd is the way the girls look in the game. Of course, thereâs a catch. If she has an impure heart, even a selfless wish will be twisted in the most vile of ways: peace brought through brutality, eternal life through perpetual childhood, or a lost love returned as an undead monster. Hundreds have sought the Skull Heart, but so far none have been deemed worthy and spared its cruel power. Those judged impure are transformed into the fearful instrument of their twisted wishâ¦ a pale and lovely tempest, a beautiful nightmare â the Skullgirl! o---------------------o CONTROLS o---------------------o u = up uf = up/forward ub = up/back b = back f = forward d = down df = down/forward db = down/back ~ = charge the direction before it. OTG = Off the ground (hits opponents who had just been knocked down) Wallbounce will knock opponent into the wall and make them bounce off and be open for more damaged. First introduced in Waku Waku 7 to my knowledge. Ground Bounce will make the opponent bounce of the ground and be open for more damage. Overheads are usually ground attacks that will hit an opponent who is blocking low. Jumping attacks are automatic overheads. Outtakes are used in matches where there are 2 or 3 opponents. Connecting with it knocks the current fighter offscreen and brings in one of their partners whom is determined by the buttons used. Stunt Double tags in a partner during block but it costs a super bar. Blockbuster Sequels allow you to cancel the current Blockbuster and attack with one of your partners blockbuster. If you've played Marvel vs Capcom series or to an extent Tatsunoko vs Capcom, you know how it works. The game comes with an Infinite Protection System. During combos, you will see a bar form under the attacked fighter and when it runs out, the combo will end. It is in place to prevent infinites and make fights fair. Pushblocks will push the opponent back further away from you after a block and it allows for a quicker recovery from block. It also works on projectiles too. o---------------------o MOVELIST o---------------------o Each characters have a unique set of moves to execute. Blockbuster moves costs up to the full 5 super bars depending on the character being used. I'll describe each move next update. Note: Each attack you make has it's own name. For a complete listing you can go to SRK, Dustloop, or Eventhubs for all that. I may include those in a future update but it's kinda monotonous since it involves filling in the blanks to a move executed just by pushing a button. +---------------------+ Filia +---------------------+ Age: 16 Birthday: March 18 Bloodtype: AB Height: 5'4" Weight: 142 lbs. Measurements: 34C - 26 - 39 Likes: Eating, Coffee, Milkshakes, Reading and learning, Radio dramas, Comics, Romance novels, Dogs Dislikes: Samsonâs bluffing and gambling, Seeing innocents get hurt, Hair getting tangled, Being lied to, Side-effects of Samson's parasitism Story: Filia was once just an average schoolgirl, but one day woke up without any memories and a second mouth on the back of her head. She was now playing host to a Parasite named Samson, an unruly mop of demonic hair with incredible power. With no memories or anyone to turn to for help, if she ever hopes to piece together her past and survive the inevitable clash with the Skullgirl, Filia will need to trust this mysterious being. ---Special--- Ringlet Spike: d, df, f + P -Summons a hair drill from the ground. LP summons it close, MP is midrange, and HP is far. Hairball: d, db, b + K (also in air) -Filia rolls across the screen in a spiked ball. Updo: f, d, df + P -Does an uppercut move using Samson's bite attack. ---Blockbuster--- Gregor Samson (1): d, db, b + 2P -Filia will do a multihit frontal torpedo attack. Fenrir Drive (1): f, d, df + 2K -A vertical topedo attack that takes the opponent upwards with her. This move looks similar to Cammy's Reverse Shaft Breaker except Samson does the hits and ends with a big chomp at the peak. Tricobezoar (3): d, db, b + 2P -Samson will do a short range burst attack (flex muscles) that hits the opponent hard and knock them away. +---------------------+ Cerebella +---------------------+ Age: 18 Birthday: April 11 Bloodtype: B Height: 5'6" Weight: 130 lbs. Measurements: 32D - 23 - 36 Likes: Competition, Showing off, Cats, Professional wrestling, Sudoku, Flirting, Pleasing Vitale, Teasing her roommate Feng Dislikes: Badmouthing of the Circus, Badmouthing of Vitale, Angry people, Quitters, Cockroaches Story: The biggest sensation in the Cirque des Cartes, Cerebella is a tumbling, soaring dynamo of star power: throughout the Canopy Kingdom, sheâs admired for her enormous strength and alluring curves. Sadly, this acrobatic orphan only desires the attention of one man, mobster Vitale Medici, who took her in and became the closest thing to a father sheâs ever known. While inherently good, Cerebella serves the mafia as a leg-breaker when not performing in the circus. Cerebella is the only person capable of controlling her powerful Living Weapon hat, Vice-Versa, so Vitale is stingy with his affections to keep her fighting in his corner. ---Special--- Diamond Drop: d, df, f + LP + LK -Vice Versa tosses opponent into the air for them to land on the horns of it. Merry Go-rilla: d, db, b + LP + LK -Vice Versa grabs opponent, swings them for a loop then slams them into the ground hard. Excellebella: f, d, df + LP + LK -Anti-air grab that catches the opponent's legs and makes Cerebella slap them in the face silly then Vice Versa does a harder slap of it's own. Grab Bag: d, df, f + LP + LK in air -Vice Versa picks opponent off the ground and Cerebella beats up on the opponent as she floats down slowly to the ground. This is probably inspired by Street Fighter 2 Rainbow Edition that enabled air from ground throwing but takes it a step further Lock N' Load: d, df, f + P (chargeable) Vice Versa charges up a fist and unleashes a Falcon Punch upon release that does more damage depending on strength. Tumbling Run: b~f + K -Cerebella dashes across the screen and can... Run Stop: Tumbling Run, LK -Stop running immediately Kanchou: Tumbling Run, MK -Perform a wallbounce attack. The word Kanchou describes what it does but I don't want to spoil it but if you watched Naruto, you have an idea of what it does. Ti ji ji~!! ^v^ Battle Butt: Tumbling Run, HK -Vice Versa turns into bull horns as Cerebella charges into opponent. Hits two times. Pummel Horse: LP + LK -Followup throw where Vice Versa grabs opponent and Cerebella takes it off and jumps onto it and pounds on the opponent who is being held in place. Glide: Hold HP in air Glides across the screen, can attack during glide Diamond Deflector: f, d, df + LP -Cerebella uses Vice Versa to reflect projectiles. Still hits without the pro- jectile if opponent is close enough. Devil Horns: f, d, df + MP -Cerebella uses this move as an anti-air and it is invincible upon start-up. Cere-copter: f, d, df + HP -Cerebella spins around with Vice-versa arms out. Good for keeping opponent in blockstun for some chip damage. Hits up to seven times. ---Blockbuster--- Ultimate Showstopper (1): 360 + LP + LK -Vice Versa grabs opponent and Cerebella takes it off slams it on the ground left and right with the opponent in tow. Cerebella then tosses Vice Versa up with the opponent still in tow then does a handstand with a sword protruding from her foot that stabs the opponent. Diamond Dynamo (1): d, df, f + 2P -Cerebella runs forward while Vice Versa continually pounds the opponent into the ground. Diamonds Are Forever (3): d, db, b + 2P -Vice Versa lifts a rock from the ground and smashes it into the opponent's face and wallbounces them. +---------------------+ Peacock +---------------------+ Age: 13 Birthday: November 13 Bloodtype: B Height: 4'6" Weight: 94 lbs. Measurements: 18A-17-20 Likes: Cartoons, TV Show âAnnie: Girl of the Stars,â Movies, Violence, Junk food Fast Cars, Explosives, Cigars, Being in charge Dislikes: Weaklings, Bureaucracy, Authority figures, People, The Skull Heart, Nerds, Salad, Chopsticks Story: Once a war orphan slave named Patricia, Peacockâs body was gruesomely mutilated by slave traders that captured her. She was rescued by Dr. Avianâs Anti-Skullgirls Labs, and rebuilt with a reality-defying arsenal of biomecha- nical weaponry: the Argus System augmented her body, and the Avery Unit gave her access to unprecedented weaponry. Alas, they couldnât do anything for her mind: Peacockâs damaged psyche and abiding love of cartoons shaped her new âtoysâ into a terrifying gang of cronies, who she has no qualms using to paint the town redâ¦ with blood. Terrifying as she is, she may be the kingdomâs best bet against the Skullgirl. ---Special--- Shadow of Impending Doom: d, db, b + P (can hold) -Drops a random item from the top of the screen. This is the move used in the tutorial section to teach you to move. Hold the button for a different set of random items up to 3 levels. LP will fall down close, MP will fall down far and HP is just like the Cartoons, it'll fall wherever the opponents stands or moves. Bang!: d, df, f + LP -Shoots a flag projectile. BANG! d, df, f + MP -Shoots a random sword. BANG, BANG, BANG!: d, df, f + HP, (HP), (HP) -Shoots up to three random projectiles. George's Day Out: d, df, f + LK A bomb named George walks across the floor. This is used in the tutorial to teach you how to jump. Boxcar George: d, df, f + MK George the bomb rides down in a boxcar. George at the Air Show: d, df, f + HK -George the bomb rides down in an airplane. (Note: all three Georges will cameo in Double's Level 5 super) The Hole Idea: d, db, b + K -Teleports to a location depending on the button. LK stays put, MK appears in front of opponent, and HK appears behind them. Fire in the Hole!: The Hole Idea, hold P -Places a bomb where Peacock would have been. ---Blockbuster--- Argus Agony (1): d, df, f + 2P -Fires a laser beam followed by small pulse shots. Lonesome Lenny (1): d, df, f + 2K -Plants a bomb that lasts several seconds then damages anybody that is caught in the explosion including Peacock if she is the user. Goodfellas (3): LP + LK, d, db, b + 2P -Peacock put opponent in the sack then she and her friends beat up the opponent who is inside. +---------------------+ Parasoul +---------------------+ Age: 25 Birthday: December 22 Bloodtype: A Height: 5'10" Weight: 156 lbs. Measurements: 34DD - 24 - 38 Likes: Logic, Wine, Chess, Fencing, Training, Tennis, Diplomacy, Philosophy, Black Egret troops, Secretly watching 'Annie: Girl of the Stars,' Her sister Umbrella Dislikes: Overly emotional people, Relying on others, Those who speak ill of her family, Injustice, The Medici Mafia, The Skullgirl, Her sisterâs antics Story: Few know the terrors of the Skullgirl as intimately as Parasoul does: seven years ago her own mother became the Skullgirl that nearly destroyed the world. This tragic past has made her fiercely protective of both her country and her family, and these two priorities frequently come into conflict. Parasoul is now the crown princess of the Canopy Kingdom and leader of its elite military squad, the Black Egrets. Wielding the living umbrella, Krieg, she fights with grace, poise and cunning to defend her family honor and destroy the Skull Heart so no one can repeat her motherâs terrible mistake. ---Special--- Napalm Shot: b~f + P -Parasoul fires a tear from Krieg at opponent. LP travels straight, MP is fired at the ground and ricochets upward into the air. HP is a faster shot across the screen. Each hit, will leave the tear in place. Napalm Toss: d, db, b + K (also in air) Launches a tear across the screen. The strength determines how far the tear goes across the screen. Napalm Trigger: d~u + LK -Parasoul stabs Krieg into the ground and causes a small earthquake that will also detonate the 1st tear set in order. Napalm Quake: d~u + MK -Stabs Kriege into the ground that detonates all tears and knocks down the foe with a bigger earthquake. Napalm Pillar: d~u + HK -Same as the other two but the quake is larger and can launch opponent into the air. It is invincible on startup. Egret Call: b~f + LK -Distracts Parasoul so she can stop in the middle of a chain to continue it. Egret Dive: b~f + MK -An Egret officer takes the hit for Parasoul like she's the president. It will absorb all projectiles but will retreat when hit physically. Egret Charge: b~f + HK -Dgret officer rides in on the motorcycle and grabs the opponent and drags them across the floor. ---Blockbuster--- Silent Scope (1): d, df, f + 2P -A recticle forms on the opponent and crumples them as they are hit by a sniper fire. Motor Brigade (1): d, df, f + 2K -Parasoul summons several bikers to run over the opponent. Inferno Brigade (3): d, db, b + 2P -Parasoul and her gang shoot several fireballs at the oppoent. +---------------------+ Ms. Fortune +---------------------+ Age: 20 Birthday: November 24 Bloodtype: B Height: 5'8" Weight: 127 lbs. Measurements: 32B - 23- 34 Likes: Making friends, Sunlit naps, Volleyball, Bowling, Golf, Parkour, Subjecting others to terrible puns, Yu-wan's resturant, Dim Sum, The Fishbone Gang, Robbing from rich, Giving to poor, Potato chips Dislikes: The Medici Mafia, Black Dahlia, Sushi, Cops, Bullies, Marsupials, Loud noises, Lemonade Story:A feline feral, Nadia Fortune is the last surviving member of the Fishbone Gang, a notorious band of otherwise Dagonian thieves. Their last mission ended in tragedy: a failed attempt to steal the mysterious Life Gem from Lorenzo Medici resulted in their grisly deaths. Before meeting her own doom, Ms. Fortune swallowed the Life Gem and managed to digest it. The Gemâs power permeated her entire body, making it truly undying...even after being cut into several pieces. Now hiding in the shadows of Little Innsmouth, Ms. Fortune plots to avenge her fallen comrades. ---Special--- Cat Spike: d, db, b + P (also in air) - Removes head. -Ms. Fortune throws her head. It can still be attacked more minimum damage but it does a good job of protecting you from some hard hits. The air version is called the Cat Strike. Cat Call: d, db, b + hold LP or MP - return head -Puts her head back on. Headbutt: HP while headless -The head will launch itself at the opponent. Zoom!: b or f + HP while headless -Trips up the opponent with her head. Feline Allergies: f, d, df + HP while headless -A sneeze that damages the opponent. OMNOMNOM: d, db, b + HP while headless -The head will bite the opponent all over their body. Cat Scratch: d, df, f + P (HP don't work when headless) up to three times -Takes a swipe at the opponent and can be performed up to three times in succession. Cat Slide: Cat Scratch, d, df, f + K -Sliding attack that's a follow up to the Cat Scratch. El Gato: d, db, b + K in air (can follow Cat Scratch) -The HK version can groundbounce an opponent who is on the ground. Fiber Upper: f, d, df + K -Ms. Fortune does a handstand and kicks the opponent upward. Nyantiair is a pursuit that is executed by adding an extra kick. ---Blockbuster--- Cat Scratch Fever (1): d, df, f + 2P -Borrows Wolverine's Berserker Barrage. Headless version adds a drilling upper. She even says Furserker Purrage! Feral Edge (1): d, db, b + 2K in air -Downward strike followed followed by two sword swipes. Fifth of Dismember (3): d, db, b + 2K (also in air) -Ms. Fortune explodes into several pieces and regroups in the wrong spots then explodes again. +---------------------+ Painwheel +---------------------+ Age: 15 Birthday: October 23 Bloodtype: SG Height: 5'1" Weight: 375 lbs. Measurements: 21B - 18 - 23 Likes: Flowers, Gardening, Walking on the beach at sunset, Family, Sound of wind chimes, Dogs, Nostalgic memories, Friends, Magenta, Proper etiquette Dislikes: ASG Labs, Valentine, Brain Drain, The Skullgirl, The Skull Heart, People, Her Body, Mind Control, Torture, Pain, Frustration, Gossip, Styrofoam sounds, Loud noises, Bad puns Story:Once a normal schoolgirl named Carol, Painwheel was kidnapped by Valentine and delivered to the Anti-Skullgirls Labsâ secretive Lab Zero. There she was implanted with the synthetic Buer Drive and Gae Bolga parasites and infused with experimental Skullgirl blood, transforming her into the monster she is today. Violent and unstable as a result of these experiments, as a precaution sheâs mentally controlled by Lab Zeroâs powerful psychic director, Brain Drain. Fueled by rage, she draws her power from her pain and fury. Despite that, the soul of that scared young girl still lives on inside this monstrous body, desperately fighting off the onslaught of voices that would control her. ---Special--- Flight: d, db, b + K (also in air) -Makes painwheel fly temporarily. Gae Bolga Stinger: d, df, f + P -Painwheel throws a claw at the opponent. The LP version can pins the opponent momentarily and the MP n' HP version can hit up to five times. Buer Reaper: d, df, f + K (also in air) -Grabs the opponent with a big claw then bashes them away. It's best not to use this move up close. LK and MK can OTG, HP version is an anti air. In the air, LK is a forward grab, MK angles downward, and HK grabs the opponent beneath her. Pinon Dash: d, d + K rapidly -Painwheel spins her blade, the longer the blade is charged the higher it will damage the opponent or add extra properties. Level 3 and 4 Knockdown and Level 5 wallbounces and cause less damage. ---Blockbuster--- Death Crawl (1): d, df, f + 2P -Painwheel turns into a spider and crawls over the opponent for several hits. Buer Thresher (1): d, df, f + 2K in air -Stabs opponent several times then grabs them towards her while still in the air and slices them up. Hatred Install (3): d, db, b + 2P -Enhances Painwheels moves for several seconds. The lower the health, the longer it lasts. +---------------------+ Valentine +---------------------+ Age: 27 Birthday: December 25 Bloodtype: A Height: 6'0" Weight: 160 lbs. Measurements: 36E - 25 - 40 Likes: Alcohol, The Scientific Method, Studying things from afar, Snakes, Wolves, Classical music, Punctuality, Careful planning, Taking things apart, News and non-fiction reading, Mind games, Chess, Accoustic guitar, Meat, Eastern culture, Dark chocolate Dislikes: Needless formality, Sentimentality, Weak people, Cooking, Bedside manner, Brain Drain, Back pain, Candy Story: Valentine is the only survivor of the Last Hope, a group of special Anti- Skullgirl Lab operatives. Before meeting their end at the hands of the Skullgirl the Last Hope worked for the mysterious Lab Zero and performed duties ranging from reconnaissance and sabotage to advanced research. Now Valentine dutifully serves the Skullgirl, carrying out her will from the shadows. She keeps to herself, so much of her true nature and personality are unknown. ---Special--- Dead Cross: d, df, f + P (also in air) -Tosses a shuriken that is almost uses from afar on the ground. The button used will determine how far it travels before it falls to the ground. However, if the move is used after a Vial Hazard then it throw a syringe that has 3 different effects depending on the color. Vial Hazard: d, db, b + P (also in air) -Valentine fills a syringe with a different color biohazard poison depending on the button used. LP concocts a purple poison that saps 10% energy from the foe but can't kill them. MP is a green poison that increases hitstun for several seconds. HP is an orange poison that has give the opponent input lag for a few seconds. Mortuary Drop: d, db, b + LP + LK -Command throw that takes opponent into the air and does a piledriver similar to Morrigan's Vector Drain. Savage Bypass: d, df, f + K (also in air) -Does a ninja dash that passes through the opponent with a slice on contact. The dash travels depending on the button strength. Blocked ones will stop without passing through. If done in air, it will stop at opponent's x-position if they are on the ground. Same story if the move is done on the ground and the opponent is in the air. ---Blockbuster--- Checkmate Incision (1): d, df, f + 2P (also in air) -Valentines throws several scalpels at the opponent. Air version travels at a downward angle. EKG Flatliner (1): d, df, f + 2K (also in air) Pretty much Leona's Slash Saber from King of Fighters 13 with EKG background that ends with a flatline. Accquisitive (2): b, d, db + 2K -A counterattack that doesn't flash until it counters. If the counter misses, a bar is used without a Super flash. Successfully hitting it will freeze the foe with an Rx symbol in place. Using it after a Vial Hazard, it will poison them. Works only on physical hits only. Dead on Arrival (3): d, db, b + 2P -Valentine will dash forward with her bodybag and take them into the sky and use the Mortuary Drop into the operating room. Now the next scene is scary as hell. I don't wan't to spoil it for you. Unlike Mortuary Drop, it's blockable. Forbidden Procedure: Rebirth Ex Machina (5): d, db, b + MP + MK or HP + HK -Revives a fallen teammate with 1/3 health. +---------------------+ Double +---------------------+ Age: ? Birthday: ? Bloodtype: All/None Height: Varies Weight: Varies Measurements: Varies Likes: Nothing Dislikes: Nothing Story: Doubleâs origins are a complete mystery. Seemingly without a will or motive of its own, this formless monster aids the Skullgirl. Double is capable of transforming its nightmarish form into that of any person, but often appears as a smiling nun. It can frequently be found in the Grand Cathedral of the Divine Trinity, listening to confessions and attending to the catacombs beneath. ---Special--- Luger Replica: d, df, f + P -Turns into Parasoul and shoots a gun. LP shoots a straight shot forward and can be ducked under, MP shoots opponent in the foot and OTGs but can be blocked high, and HP shoots at the ground and it ricochets into the air and if the opponent is airbourne, they are knocked down. Hornet Bomber: f, d, df + K -Turns into Cerebella and launches herself buttfirst at the opponent. Cilia Slide: b + LK + HK -Mortal Kombat fans will recognize this as Sub Zero's slide move. It is also perfomed the same way minus the block button. She turns into Filia when she does the move. Item Crash: d, db, b + K in air -Double transforms into an item and fall onto the opponent if nearby. LK will turn into a teacup and stagger a grounded opponent. MK will turn into a oil drum barrel that hits twice on the ground or in the air and can OTG. HP turns into a refrigerator that groundbounces the opponent. ---Blockbuster--- Bandwagon Rushdown (1): d, df, f + 2P -Turns into Peacock and does her own version of Shin Bison's/Shin Vega's Psycho Crusher super from Street Fighter Alpha/Zero 3 where she back off the opposite screen then comes rushing back in across the screen for 5 hits. Catellite Lives (1): d, df, f + 2K -Double turns into headless Ms. Fortune and summons miniature Ms. Fortune heads that act like Servbots and they won't attack unless you press an attack button to make them perform certain actions. Light attacks are straightforward drill attacks, Medium attacks are anti-air drill attacks, Heavy attacks are downward drill attacks if the heads are airborne. They disappear when Double is hit or after some time passes. All hits must connect to do the complete move. It's invincible and can be OTG'd from. Some characters in the move are possibly going to be DLC. Megalith Array (5): d, db, b + 2K (also in air) -Double transforms into a giant Moai from the Gradius series and stays that way for several seconds. The air version can hit as it falls down. The ground one can groundbounce if it touches the opponent. From there, you can send all kinds of projectiles at the opponent. LP sends rings straight. MP sends anti-air rings HP sends slow rings in a upward three-way arc but they hit hard. LK sends a bomb shaped like a heart that walks into the opponent. MK sends a bomb on a cart and HK sends jets in the air.
