[S1-001]: INTRODUCTION
----------------------

Hello, I’m macewindufan01 from right here, cheatcodes.com. This is actually my
first guide I’ve ever written, and I hope it will be both a fun and learning
experience for you and me both. When I first considered getting this game, I
was slightly hesitant because of all the flak that it was getting from Zelda
fans everywhere. You see, this game uses something I believe is called ‘cel-
shading’. I have no clue what that means, but I do know what effect it has on
the game. It gives the game a sort of cartoon-ish appearance, like Japanese
cartoons (kind of.) Anyway, I was wrong to believe the rumors. Even though it’s
slightly different from all the other Zelda games, it still has that charm
about it. All in all, it has a great storyline, great game play, and is just an
overall great game.

[S1-002]: WHAT IS THIS GUIDE?
-----------------------------

In this guide, you will find (a rather poor) sea chart from the Wind Waker. I
will do my best to make the sea chart, but there aren't any promises that it
will be good. After the chart, I will list all of the islands/reefs that are in
the map, the fishman info (you won't have to feed me for it), and whether there
is treasure (including a Triforce Shard) or a Triforce Chart in that sector.
Not everything will be complete right away, as I have to go back and find all
the fishman info and such.

This is NOT a walkthrough of the game. While I will cover very miniscule
amounts of a walkthrough for certain charts, that's all I am doing. Please do
NOT e-Mail me asking how to get by a certain boss or dungeon. However, you MAY
e-Mail asking how to get a certain chart. Please keep in mind, I'm not perfect,
and will not have all the answers (there are a LOT of treasure charts to try to
keep track of.)

[S1-003]: CONTACT INFORMATION
------------------------------

This being my very first Guide, I would very much appreciate any help I could
get. If you would like to send me any tips on FAQ writing, or would like to
contribute to this guide, such as island info or fishman info (such as what the
OFFICIAL name is for them), please E-Mail me at:

[email protected].

Please put ‘WW Guide’, or something along those lines, in the message subject.
I also request that you keep the message clean. Also, please state whether or
not you want your screen name put with your contribution. If not, please state
what you want put there instead, if anything. Further legal information will be
covered at the end of the guide.

charts/shards listed as 'Yes/No' completed up to, but

[S2-001]: THE VAST SEA
-------------------------

Well, seeing as how there's more water than land in this game, I just thought I
should put something majestic-like in the title of this part............ OK, on
to the Sea Chart!

          C = Triforce Chart
*NOTE: The sorry attempt at a ship at the right is the Ghost Ship, where there
is a Triforce Chart.
**NOTE: I'm going with the hope that everyone who reads this will know how to
work this map, because I will sometimes refer to islands and such as 'A-4'. I'd
try to explain it, but for some reason, my mind can't come up with an idea as
to how. Mental block, writer's block. Call it what you want.

[S2-002]: THE ISLANDS
----------------------

In this neat, perfect little Zelda world, every single sector (a sector would
be a square such as 'E-2') on the map has an island, even the one empty sector
(OK, it's not an island, but it has a name and is a very important place.)

*NOTE: The islands called 'reefs' (such as Four-Eye Reef), you should be very
careful around. Essentially, they are pirate fortresses. They are always being
patrolled by pirate ships (the one's with cannons) and the inside of the walls
are lined with cannons as well. Exercise extreme caution when dealing with
these.
