Introduction

Hi. If you have any questions about my FAQs, my email address is [email protected].
This is my first FAQ, so if you could give me any information on Mario Party 6,
which my next FAQ is about, tell me, okay? Thanks.

Part 1 Controls

Everyone knows this, but since I have to say the controls, A accelerates. I would
suggest not to accelerate while Lakitu says, 3, 2, 1, but accelerate at the exact
same time as the race starts. You get a rocket start. B stops and reverses. Z
switches the characters that were driving and the one that was throwing items so
that you can have 2 items at the same time. R and L do sharp turns, and if you mess
with their controls, you can figure out how to drift, which gives you a bit more
speed. Y and X throw items.

Part 2 Items Part A

You can get items by hitting Item Boxes. You can also get double item boxes, which
give you an item on each person. Red shells go forward and, hopefully, will hit the
person in front of you. To throw items backwards, press down as you throw. If you
throw red shells backwards, they won't be as accurate. Green shells are thrown
directly, but bounce of walls when hitting them temporarily. Spiny Shells (don't
appear in battle mode) shoot up to the 1st place person in Grand Prix or Versus.
You can throw them backwards, but they still shoot up to the 1st place person.
Sometimes it even hits the 2nd place person, the 3rd place person, the 4th place
person, the 5th place person, the 6th place person, and even the 7th place person.
Mushrooms give burst of shells. You can also get tripe mushrooms, which allow you
to have 3 bursts of speed. Stars let you be invincible for a limited amount of
time. Banana peels are thrown forwards or backwards. People that hit it are
stunned. People are also stunned while hitting Fake Item Boxes. Thunderbolts makes
everyone except the person using it small for a limited amount of time. All the
people that are small have less speed then before. If you are getting hurt while
the thunderbolt is in play, then you do not get small. This is useful. This also
includes falling in lakes, holes, etc.

Part 2 Special Items Part B

Orange fireballs and green fireballs stun. Orange fireballs are Mario's special
item, and green fireballs are Luigi's special item. Baby Mario and Baby Luigi's
special item are Chain-Chomps. The Chain-Chomps drag Baby Mario and Baby Luigi into
other players to hurt them. Bob-Ombs are Wario and Waluigi's special item. They
badly hurt people, like Spiny Shells. Be careful not to get hurt by your own Bob-
Omb. Rings of hearts allow the user (Peach and Daisy's special item) to not get
hurt by other items except Spiny Shells. You also get the item. Yoshi and Birdo's
special items are eggs. Yoshi's have green spots, and Birdo's have pink spots.
They stun. Bowser and Bowser Jr.'s special item is Bowser's Shells. They hurt
people badly. They are huge. Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong's special item is giant
banana peels. When hit by eggs, they will split into 3 different normal banana
peels. Koopa and Paratroopa's special item is triple red and triple green shells.
Toad and Toadette's special item is infinite mushrooms for a limited time. And
last, Petey Piranha and King Boo's special items is everyone else's.

The stages are Cookie Land, Block City, Luigi's Mansion (which you have to earn),
Nintendo Gamecube, Pipe Plaza, and Tilt-A-Kart (which you also have to earn).

Part 5 Battle Mode Part B Battles

Balloon Battle is where you hit each other three times with items. You can use
anyone's item. Once you are hit 3 times, you lose.

Shine Thief is where you try to get the shine, a sun-like thing that hangs in the
middle of the stage. You have to get the shine in time. If the other person has it
before time runs out, hit them as fast as you can with items to steal the shine.

The last battle is Bob-Omb Blast, where you bomb each other with bombs. Once people
get enough stars (by hitting other people with bombs), they win the battle.
