Hello and welcome to part 2 of the .hack saga, ( or at least part 2 for the
video games.)  Now, I fell in love with this game when I got it last year, so
I decided heck I'll right an strategy guide for it.  

Also a note on reading this guide.  When in a dungeon I use the term "exit"
as the way into different areas of the room.  This way I dont have to say
"gated door" or "door blocked off by a stone", it is just easier for me.

Also if you want to help with any info, please e-mail me with information,
any useful information will probubly be used and will be credited if it is.

             almost completed andam working on the extra charactors for this 
             game.

A Quick Note

A quick note to those who are starting from this game.  I am using my 
original data from .hack//Infection and Converting it over to Mutation. This
should effect anything but the level i start at in the game and maybe the 
weapon attack strength.

When you first get to play the game you will notice that you have 3 new 
e-mails.  The first is from Mistral the second is from BlackRose and the
third on is from CC Corporation.  Read the CC Corp. one and than log into 
The World.

When you log in BlackRose will be waiting for you, she will tell you that 
you and her are going to "Theta Chosen Hopeless Nothingness" to find out 
what happened there.

As you warp to this area you will notice that the land looks corrupt.  Run
to the dungeon killing off (or running) from any monsters you may find.

First Floor
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When you enter this dungeon, BlackRose will remark how it looks the same as 
before.  Now go through the door through to the north.  You will enter a
four way hallway, take the exit to the west. This will take you to a curved 
hallway, take the door on the other side of the room and go to the next
floor.

Second Floor

When you enter this floor BlackRose will say the obvious, there are no
enemies in this dungeon.  Now go through the door straight ahead of you this
will lead you to a four way hallway take the door right in front of you 
again and you will be to the stairway to the next floor.

Third Floor

Now she will talk about if the big thing is still here, you will reply to
her and she will get huffy.  Now go through the door straigh ahead of you
and it will lead you to a large room, from there take the exit on the west
side of the room.  You will be in another large room now, so take the north
exit and it will take you to a three way hallway.  From here take the exit
to the east and it will lead you to a floor held up by chains, go across 
this room and take the east exit on the other side. this will lead you to
another three way hallway.  Now take the north exit, this will lead you to a
curved hallway, go to the east exit and now you will be at the stairs that 
lead you down to the next floor.

Fourth Floor
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You will now see a scene that I think is kind of funny.  They are talking 
about being afraid, AFFAID from a VIDEO GAME.  Yes, I understand they are 
fighting monster but COMMON.

Okay back to the dungeon, head out the exit you see in front of you, this 
will lead you to a hallway, take the exit you see ahead of you.  Now you
will be in a large room.  Take the north exit into another large room. Now 
take the north exit into another large room.  In this room you will see and
exit on the west side, take it and you will now be in a hallway.  Follow the
hallway to the other side and go through the exit.  You will be in another
large room, take the north exit into the staircase and into the next floor.

Fifth Floor
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Go through the exit you see when you enter this floor and a scene will 
happen.  When the scene is over just head through the north exit through
the rest of the rooms.

When you get to the end of the hallway, you will notice that it is a dead
end.  You will automaticly return to the Root Town.

When you warp back to this town, one of the Shop Keepers will be waiting for
you, he will ask you if you won the Power Up Campaign.  He tells you the 
item they previously gave you had a defect that wont let you install it. 
They will than give you the Book of Absolute, in exchange for the old one.

If you want to install it, it's not in the books section of the items list
it is in the Key Items and guess what IT WONT INSTALL and guess what it
never will.

Okay now log out and you will have new mail.  One will be from an Anonymous
person giving you a place to check out.  The place is "Theta Soaring Sky
Bounded Abyss".  You will also get a jumbled email from Aura. 

Log back in and go to "Theta Soaring Sky Bounded Abyss".

When you get to this place it is totally white, BlackRose will be there but
you can't Gate Out.  Now you will see the system administrator talking to
you, they will blame hacker for the comatose victims and tell you to too.
They will than try to delete you, at least before Helba comes to save the
day.  When the ordeal is over you will automaticly Gate Out.

Log out to see you got an email from Lios (the System Administrator) telling
you that people are now allowed to go to the Lambda Server.  He is going to
be a Shop NPC and go talk to him.

Log back and go the the Lambda Server

When you get here go to the weapon shop.  He will tell you your late, and 
will than give you instructions on what to do, he will give you a Virus Core
P.  He will than tell you the protected area Keywords were on the Board.
Log out and check the message board.

When you get to the board in the Topic "Is This an Event Character?" Read 
the third message down and you will get the keywords "Lambda Dolorous Evil
Eyed Widow". Log back in after you find them.

When you get back to Carmina Gadelica, Elk and Mia are waiting for you, they
will greet you and Mia is unabled to talk correctly.  They will ask you to 
take them with you when you go to "Lambda Dolorous Evil Eyed Widow".  So 
when you are ready, go their with them.

First Floor

When you enter this dungeon head through the exit you see ahead of you, this
will lead you to a four way hallway with a monster portal in the middle, 
kill off the monsters and go through the west exit, this will take you to a
small room.  Take the north exit in this room to go into another small room,
take the west exit in this room to take you to a three way hallway with a
magic portal in the middle, kill off the monsters that come out of the 
portal and head through the south exit, and into the next floor.

Second Floor

Go out through the exit you see right infront of you, this will lead you to
a large room with a magic portal in the middle of it.  Kill the monsters and
go through the east exit.  This will lead you to a three way hallway with a
magic portal in the middle of it, kill the monsters that come out of it and 
go through the north exit, this will lead you to a hallway with a magic 
portal in the middle of it.  Kill the monsters that come out of that portal,
than go through the north exit.  You will now be at the stair case and to
the next floor.

Third Floor

Head north into a hallway, go to the other side of the hallway and you will 
see Purple fire, next to an exit, this is the sign of a boss fight.  Go 
through when ready.
