********************************************* Anybody can pass this on too anybody or anywhere it can be of help too people. ODT - Some hints, tips, help and cheats. There are 2 secret people you can play as in the game, see cheat section. This is a revision. I replayed the game and I was only going to put in where to find the PsiKeys (hopefully I find the one I missed) but I decided to put in where to find things in the levels that are not obvious. Cheats near bottom. DO NOT shoot boxes or crates until you have had a chance to check out was above or near them. Including when you are in a fire fight with an enemy. Sometimes you will loose stuff because the box would of given you access to ammo or health or a psikey piece etc. I played this game with Corporal Ike Hawkins so my observations may be different with different characters. When ever you have saved or crossed a checkpoint and then died everything you did after that point is still in effect ie:- Everything you moved, picked up etc. is still done as well as any ammo used is gone. The only bummer too this is when fighting a boss his energy goes back too full health and the energy or lives you lost as still gone as well as any ammo. When hanging from something you can reverse the direction you are facing by pushing up on the D pad. If you are looking for secret rooms etc. stand beside a wall and scroll sideways as the walls break up when doing this and you can sometimes see things. The red arrows you come across in the game you jump down into them the green ones you climb up or down. Jumping down where there is a green arrow usually leeds to death. The wall mounted guns can be spun with the twister spell and then when they are spinning shoot them or run up and kick the colored globe under the gun to stop it from shooting. The gun will still track you but it can't shoot as you destroyed it's ammo. You will come too an area where there is a life crystal some spell crystals and other stuff up in an alcove high above the floor over a trench full of spikes. Just move the boxes you find in this area and push them over the edge of the floor onto the spikes and on top of each other until you can jump up into the alcove. There are partially raised gates in the game you can crawl under. The fire spell works well on the skeletons with the clubs. The level of your fire spell will determine how effect it is, ie:- number of stars. There is an area in the game where you have to jump across a bunch of pillars to get a key and other things. The pillars go basiclly in a circle around a central pillar. On the far side of the pillar you can break through the wall to get a life crystal. The firefly's which swarm around you and bite you are more annoying than anything, plus they don't cause much damage but you can get rid of them by shooting out the light that is attracting them and they will leave. Also the metal cabinet doors that swing open when you go by them can also be kicked open if you come across any of them that are closed. There is a cabinet in a secret area in one part of the game that you need to break into to get into another secret area to get a gate key or something like that. It is a crucial piece that you need to continue. The fish are more annoying than anything, they can be jumped over or killed with the green or grey weapon. Later in the game I found the energy spell, the mana spell and the ghost spells to be the most usefull spells. As far as the energy and mana spells go I don't know the correlation between when they exactly became the most effective but when I did start to use them I had maxed out spirit energy and three stars for each of the two spells. At this point the energy spell gave me more energy than the mana used to cast the spell and the mana spell took less energy than the mana given so at any safe point in the game I could alternate between the two spells and max out my energy and almost max out my mana. The other most useful spell is the ghost spell which literaly turns you into a ghost. The only disadvantage to this spell is you can't pick things up but you are impervious to damage from enemy weapons or spells and can still use your weapons and spells and break things by kicking them. Once I started using the ghost spell not even the bosses hurt me including the last level boss. It works so good I got bored the odd time and fought without the ghost spell just for the challenge. You can also cast your energy and mana spells while ghosted which is handy if no safe area around. By safe area I mean any place where there are no enemies around. Beware though you can still take damage from hot steam, knives, spikes etc. and if you fall into a void you are dead. The freeze spell works well on a lot of enemies. The fire weapon does more damage when your are fairly close to the enemy and fire it like a semi-automatic weapon instead of holding the fire button down. Same for the blue ammo weapon. When you have maxed out your spirit, weapon and armour bottles the experience bottle still keeps filling, when it is full you will get an extra life. When you are fighting an enemy and your health goes down to zero if you have any extra energy you will use it automatically. Not so for the mana, you have to go into inventory to increase your mana. There are lots of secret areas in this game including secrets in secrets. Look for irregularities in the walls like cracks or things out of order like in Doom. You will notice that the walls follow certain patterns. You had better get used to finding the secret areas as keys etc. are hidden in them. Also grates in the walls at floor level some of them can be broken, you will be able to see through them. Most secret areas you will be able to kick them to get in, in some cases they are up high and you will have to shoot them. Fans can be broken to find secret areas. Near the end of the game the secret areas are at ground level with just a slight crack to show them. In this area I found lots of secret areas plus at least one area with three secrets in one. This area is to the left of where you come to the area with all the small pillars you have to jump onto to get to the next areas. You will know this area by the small pillars and the green next sector arrow immediately to your right. In the area to the left after jumping across the pillars is where I found the door to use the psikey. It is in a secret area, I don't remember where exactly but once you get used to finding the secret areas in this area you will find it. It was in a secret within a secret. I think I broke through at least three walls to find it. Unfortunetly I never got in there as I missed one piece for the psikey. You will see the secret area when running around that area as you can see it through some steel bars but to get too it you will need to find the walls you can break. Also there is a secret area in a room you will enter with a table in the middle of the floor and six buttons three on each wall. The switches cause tables to slide out like in a morgue. The button on the right in the middle with the funny red mark above it leads to a secret area, get onto table and crawl through, you can either kill this enemy or draw him away then jump on the table and crawl inside for a secret area. Also you can push things in this game to find secret areas or to get to a higher place. In one area there is a carcass laying on a table, you can break the table and then push the carcass to jump up onto the smaller of two hanging platforms to get into the alcove high up in the wall where you can't jump to. As far as how I defeated bosses I am telling you how I did it, there are probably other ways to do it. Psikeys. Level 1 - Psikey pieces 1 and 2. One I got from my shipmate after crossing the bridge and jumping up to the top of the platform. The bridge is in the tower where you work your way up the ladders and wooden platforms. It is near where the red arrow is and when you drop down your are in front of the stone block that was moved by the lever, where you crawl through the narrow opening to get access to the suspended platform that takes you across the gap to the other side. The other one was above the archway at the entrance to the bridge that leads to the teleporter. Level 2 - Psikey piece 3. Go down hallway with large drills by stairs that go to room with lever that starts drills. This is the hallway with the two drills side by side. Also note that there is a secret area in front of the first of the two drills side by side. Just run into the area the drill is drilling into. You will notice it goes in aways. I found the psikey by the lever in the next room. It was either there allready or was released when I killed the enemy there. I am not sure as I killed him from aways off. It was probably with the enemy. Level 3 - Psikey piece 4. The psikey is in a glassed alcove across from the room with all the glass windows. I am not sure what opens wall to let you get psikey but I assume it is the lever you pull in the room of glass windows. You get to the psikey by going through the door by the womb the baby dino's fall out of in the room with the three doors. Level 4 - Psikey piece 5. It is in the room with the morgue tables that slide out of the wall. Push the middle button on the right as you enter the room then kill the enemy or draw him away and then get on table and crawl through to other side. Level 5 - Psikey piece 6. You find this key in the same room you fight the boss in. It is in one of the rooms the fan blade shaped knives come out of. You have to crawl under the knives to get it. Level 6 - Psikey piece 7. When you go through the gate after the area with the waterfall and turning waterwheel and broken waterwheel into the large open area with water filled pit and ramps going up around the walls. Jump down into water and get Psikey piece down narrow hallway. Level 7 - Psikey piece 8 last one. When you get too large open cavern with the small pillars and the green arrow to the right, go to the checkpoint around corner. Then work your way across pillars to the left. This will take you to the last psikey piece and the Psi gate. Some of the pillars have rocks on them that can be shot.In room after you get off pillars head up into area too left of green arrow, then up ramp at end where green arrow is for last piece of Psikey. PSI Gate - Level 7, location. Now head back too room with green arrow after crossing pillars in the cavern area. In graveyard turn left and go down ramp (lots of secrets in this area), directly in front of you is block you can break, kill skeleton and go into secret area. Part way down corridor on left is another breakable block. Crawl in here for another secret area. In little alcove for this room where energy is break block on right for yet another secret area, before you crawl in head up towards red light and large rock and blow up raised rectangular platform on floor for spell crystal. In next room part way along the wall on right towards the red light is another block too break. Crawl in for another secret area which leads to location of Psi gate to use your Psikey. Use key then run through transparent owl face and get goodies and have fun, piggy , piggy. :) I thought this was a pritty unique secret area, one of the best I have ever seen, well worth getting here. On one level akin to the hall of hero's in Medievil. To bad it wasn't earlier in the game. Level 1. Before you meet below boss, in the wide open area by the pool of acid with the floating platforms, go up the stairs the enemy was on and blow through the wall. There is also a secret area to find the black key to exit this area. you will see it floating out of reach above your head by a wall with a floor on top of it to your right as you enter the open area. There is a mechanical gun mounted on top of the wall. To get into that area blow through the cracked wall by the teleporter you used to get to this section. Also if you go out through the gate by the save point on the edge of the acid pool and go to the end of the corridor and turn around and look up you will see some goodies high up on the wooden beam. To get too them go up the next set of stairs and where the opening is in the wall to the left with the upright pillars go to the edge of the stone floor and make your way up the horizontal wooden beams sticking out of the wall. This is a good practice area for jumping and hanging as you are near a save point in case you die. You will need the practice there is lots of jumping, hanging and swinging in this game. There is also a goodie on a beam out of sight when you jump down where the red arrow is in the begining around the corner from your crashed ship. When you enter this area and you go past the door that is locked then go down the stairs to the courtyard where the bat attacks you. There is a series of wooden beams sticking out of the walls to the left when you come down the stairs. Work your way around the corner on them, then the next corner to get the goodie. I believe it is a blue weapon power up. The first boss, the big tall stone dude that comes out from behind the huge steel door. This is just after jumping across the floating platforms in the acid. I had a lot of trouble with this guy until I figured it out and this brings up one of my sore points with this game, when you die to a boss and go to the checkpoint to restart he is back at full energy and the ammo you used while fighting him is not restored to where it was when you went through the checkpoint, including any used energy or mana. Though one good thing about the checkpoints, anything you picked up after a checkpoint you still keep in your inventory if you die and go back to the checkpoint. Anyway I defeated the first boss by using the twister spell and while he was spinning I nailed him with the fire weapon (yellow). Also there are two secret areas in the room you fight this boss in. The four small raised platforms that don't move when you walk on them can be pushed down by exploding a mine or grenade on top of them. This will raise the walls to get at the ammo. After defeating this boss you enter a room with a differnt colored panel in the floor, run across this don't stand on it as it will collapse. Look into the hole and see where the life gem is so you jump into the hole in the right place. Also check this room out for goodies. Level 2 In the area where you are carried from one walkway to another by overhead cranes. The area where you climb down the green ladder to get too it. I don't have the pattern I wrote down anymore but it is easy enough to figure out. Try all the routes as there are weapon power ups to find and a life crystal. Also if you turned right to get here in the large open hallway just before the ladder to go down to the crane area go back to that open hallway as there is a save crystal down at the other end. So if you keep dying in the crane area you won't have to go back so far. Also one of the weapon power ups (yellow I think) in the crane area is on a crumbling block, if you are quick enough you can get it and run and jump to a stable platform before it collapses. Also in the area where you first encounter a crane near a checkpoint it takes you to a platform where there are two cranes. The crane to the far left the one with the shorter ride, when it lets you off look at the wall across the chasm. There is a key in that room, or something that you need. This is after you get the cranes started up. After you drop down where red arrow is after you get through the crane puzzle. Kill the enemy and get the magnetic key card, cross over the checkpoint mark and go up too the gate. It will open, then look for crack in the wall to your right a bit off the floor, break the wall for a rocket. Further down on that side the wall juts out. Go up to the the door in the archway and open with magnetic card key. Inside you will find a lever which will start a crane boom turning. There is a magnetic card key in the room with the upright storage tanks in it, it is on top of the one to the right as you enter the room. There are 2 secret areas in the room with the 4 cranes. Look for cracks above eye level. Move the first 3 cranes so you can walk to the 4th crane. After that it is all timing. Jump onto the moving crane, then the platform in front of the door. When you go through large corridor with the long row of drills, there is a secret area at floor level on the left a few drills down the corridor. The boss for this level is a mechanical boss you meet after the area with the big drills coming out of the walls. When you first start this area you will come into it by a red arrow and there will be a lever to your left and a river of acid. In the middle of the room there are stairs going to a platform. You will eventually enter a large room with three wall mounted weapons shooting at you and there are stairs and platforms as well as a central tower. Get up on this tower and quickly shoot the three weapons firing at you, be quick and accurate as the ammo is limited. On the platform to your right as you entered this room near a wall mounted gun there are some barrels, shoot them and enter the hole in the wall. This is a secret area enter it and push the green eyes they will turn red or the other way around. This will be helpful when fighting the boss for this area. There is also another secret area where there are two large drills side by side. run into the opening the first drill is drilling into. Press the eyes in here as well. What this does is keep the platforms from receeding into the wall after firing the rocket launcher when fighting the boss. At this point you will only be able to keep two of the platforms from receeding into the wall as I never found the secret area with the other set of eyes. In the room you fight the mechanical monster you pick uo two rockets as well, one suspended in the air by the second platform and one in the barrels to the left as you enter this room. You need to get up on top of the third upper platform and put the rocket in the rocket launcher. As I didn't find the third secret area with the other set of eyes too push, this platform will slide back into the wall. All you have too do is get up on the second platform and stand next too the skull nearest the third platform and shoot it with the blue ammo. This will cause the platform to slide back out and you can get him with the second and third rocket. If you didn't get all the rockets you will have too stay away from him too finish him off as he now will get you with poisonous lightning. I went into the room where you enter this area from and killed him from there. You will have too manually aim at his head too finish him off as the gun won't auto target from inside the room. Now leave room and jump down where red arrow is. Level 3 Shoot the wanted signs of the owl for secret areas though they sometimes hide baby dino's. When you enter the room with all the glass windows where the checkpoint is, there is a spell crystal floating below floor level by one of the glass windows. When you get to the area with the gate blocking your way to the mine car pull the lever and climb ladder back down hallway. When you enter the area with the large generator the gate starts too close. Quickly shoot the glass tops of the 4 small generators around the sides. This causes the force field too come down that is gaurding the big generator at end of room. Then shoot last generator. Jump across too last generator and pull lever. This opens gate by mine car. Quickly run to gate and crawl under. If you don't make it just jump off ledge to kill yourself and start at last save point or checkpoint. You will loose a life but everything you did remains done as well as anything you picked up you still have. The area the mine car is in has lots of cracked walls. There are 2 in the beginning hallway. One near the beginning up by the beam and one above the mine car. You will have to push the mine car down hallway to get access to the other area. You can only do this when you pull lever to release brake at front of mine car. The area above mine car has bars in it. If you look you will see a cracked wall on the other side. You get to this area later. Back out by the mine car get get on top of mine car and jump to beam then to the upper level. When you come down the otherside into hallway, don't miss cracked wall on the left. There is a lever handle in there you need. Also find cracked wall inside this area to get to other side of area where bars are. The lever handle is used to release brake in front of mine car. The place to put the lever handle is in area with the 2 ramped walkways. You will have to make your way across the beams to the overhead walkway to get to the area to put the lever handle. Access beams by jumping from ramped walkway to beams. Only one of the ramps will let you jump the beams to the upper walkway. You will know soon enough, because you need to jump too a pole sticking from the wall to swing to the opposite beam. When you get to the area where you cross the indoor suspension bridge and make your way down below and into the wide corridor there is a secret area just after you cross under the suspension bridge by the large plant. When facing the area with all the moving cogs on the 2 walls the useless cog is the wooden one on the far top right. There doesn't appear to be any logic in figuring out which cog is the useless one, I died lots here. When you enter room with large floating rock suspended over hole in the floor. Jump down too kill baby dino's, then work your way up and then run jump too suspended rock then quickly jump too the other side before rock falls. As you enter the next area you will notice it is a glass walkway. Quickly run straight ahead and smash through glass wall ahead before auto gun shoots floor panels out. Dispatch the auto gun and the enemy. Do this in the other 2 rooms as well. Then go back and jump back up to glass walkway from gun platform and go get goodies. When you come to the open area with the large glassed in cage and the stairs and the water on the right with the rock outcroppings you have too shimmy and jump across. When you cross the suspension bridge look too your left and shoot out the grate. There is a piece of the container in there. In the room after the suspension bridge climb the ivy growing up the wall to get a spell crystal. Too defeat the level 3 boss. First of all when you enter this room go to the left and shoot the wanted sign by oil pump and get life. Then shoot the spouts off the storage tank in the middle of the room. Then run over too the beginning of the hallway that runs along the 2 walls with the iron bars along the edge. Run past the boss to the end of corridor and turn wheel. This will start oil pump and fill storage tank, because the spouts are shot off the storage tank will overflow. Go back towards the storage tank and lure boss into the spilling oil. Beware of the baby dino's he spawns. As the boss walks through the oil he gets a bluish glow, at this point set him on fire. Repeat above until he is dead. I never figured out how to get the bars to raise in gate down walkway to get too the save point you can hear in area just before you climb down into area where you place cog. Level 4. As you make your way down the corridors after opening gate in beginning room you will come across a broken down robot, push it out of the way to find secret area. Crawl through opening at floor level, when you get to the room with the steel storage cabinets, one won't auto open, break it open. There are 2 corridors on the other side, one straight ahead and one to the left. Make sure you get program card. In the large open room with the jail cells make sure when you release the man from the chamber in one of the jail cells you don't kill him as he is your only way out of this area. Also in the jail cell with the crystal you can see through the shelving unit, push shelving unit out of the way to get crystal. There is a semi-boss in this level which is a ghost, you can defeat him with mines or freeze spell. Go up too his coffin from the side you enter the room and push the lid off. When he gets out let him near you then set a mine and roll away. After that keep a pillar between him and you or you will get zapt by poisonous lightning you can either use an antidote spell to heal yourself or the antidote bottles or just live with it as it doesn't last long. It will take three mines alltogether too kill him. So for the other two mines line yourself up behind a pillar but on an angle where you have room too roll away and then wait for him too walk through the pillar then set a mine and roll away, do once more or you can freeze him if you have the spell then kick, shoot or blow him up. The stuff you pick up in the area with the ghost goes on floor switches to open up the doors for the prisoners and to get the tetris piece to get through the gate. This is how the pieces go. By the way for saving the prisoners you get a spell which in my case sucked as I couldn't learn it anyway as my spirit was maxed out. In the area where there are two switches across from each other over a hole in the floor. On the right one (this will depend on which hall you came down to get here, you will find out which is right and left quick enough) put down the triangular gold piece and the wooden piece. On the left switch put down one wooden piece and one rectangular concrete piece. In the room with the two switches (there is a secret area in the wall directly across from the switches) when facing the switches put a triangular gold piece and a rectangular concrete piece on the left switch on the right switch put a wooden piece and the half circular piece of concrete. In the area where you shimmy across the chasm on the pipe put two rectangular concrete pieces on this switch. Shimmy across the pipe with your back to you or you will fall off the other end to your death. After you leave the area with the prisoners and open the gate with the Tetris piece you are captured and all your stuff is taken, but you get it all back. I had a problem with this area. After I got my my stuff back I couldn't use my green ammo or weapon and if I tried to drop it the game locked up. So I had to replay the level and made sure I didn't have the green spell crystal the guy gave me for freeing the prisoners as well I dumped my green ammo and I was okay after that. I don't know why this happened for sure but I thought it could be because I was carrying a spell crystal I would never be able to learn. As you work your way through the area where you start from after being captured, go up the stairs going too the walkway along one of the corridor walls. Jump through the hole in the wall, then shimmy along the pipe (watch out for steam) and jump into the room through hole in wall and land on the table. The guns are activated by shooting at them or stepping on the floor. You can pick guns off one at a time from around doorway. In other room on the otherside with more steel barrels and wall mounted guns you will find all your stuff in a backpack. In the room with the morgue type tables that slide out of the wall, three of these storage areas have enemies. When you enter this area push the first button to your right this will bring out a carcass, this is like the one you will have to push later in the game. Then push the third one on the right to get a key then go over and push the middle button on the left side for mines. The middle button on the right as you enter the room has a secret area behind it. You will find the Psikey, a freeze spell and this area also takes you to the area that had the bars across it back at the checkpoint by the stairs that took you too the prisoners area. In the area with the chambers that contain floating green skinned monsters, shoot the generator up before you break the chambers open and the enemy will die. The boss for this level I call the Kung Fu boss. He has sort of martial arts moves. When you first see him he is bent over in a crouched position. He has only one arm and some wierd things growing out of his mid-section. To kill him you need to get to the switches that blow up the four metal bars in the middle of the room. These bars release the floor and it splits in half and the boss falls into a pool of lava. You have to pull four switches. To get at the switches you need too knock the boss down five times. I never did figure out exactly what caused him to be knocked over. All I did was run around the outside of the room until he stopped chasing me then turn and shoot him a few times, then roll out of the way shoot him again and then run around somemore etc. I knocked him down with all the weapons so you can use whatever you have the most off. Though the blue ammo is the best. I knocked him down from close up and from across the room and never did figured out exactly what caused him to go down. After you knock him down twice you will have access to the first switch and a cubbyhole you can use as a breather, you will notice the floor lower when he is knocked over. Keep your health up as when he falls over it cause you damage. I never used the ghost spell here so you can try it out if you have it. I also had my mana and energy spells at three stars each so I would run into an alcove to recharge. I never found any spells that would work on him. Level 5 When you enter area with the 2 overhead platforms and the carcass lyeing on a table, break the table and push the carcass to the smaller of the 2 platforms and then jump across and go over and pull lever. When you enter area where the rope pulley is jump down to get spell crystal. After you jump off pulley slide into next room look for secret area as you exit this area. As you face down the short hallway going to the room with the hanging carcass's shoot the wall out too the right of the yellow wall light. When you get too the ramp with the green arrow you will slide down this slope as soon as you get to the floor move quickly to your left before the floor plate falls down. In area where you come across moving floor going to wall of spikes go to your left (watch for enemy) and up too upper alcove on right. Step on floor switch which will catapult a piece of metal through the wall into the next room. Climb up on the metal piece to access lever too lower gate. Do this right away as the metal piece goes back to the spring after awhile and can't be activated again. Then flick lever in room by spiked wall. The large room with the double set of steel bars with the moving floor outside and the 3 baby dino's and the green weapon power-up inside can be accessed from the side closest to the stairs, there is a bar missing. I am not sure if this was missing when I went by the first time or doing something in another room caused it to raise. To get to the lever to make more of the transparent blocks appear in the lava area by teleporter go back to area where the sloping floor is and slide down and drop to area below. In large room partially filled with water and pirhana fish there is a secret area to the right of the water level exit from this area. This has a piece of the container in it. When you look out the entrance to this area you will an open area above you to the left. You can jump up there and you are told that you found a secret area but there is nothing there and a gate blocks your way. When you exit this area and head down corridors watch for floor level drain you can break to get to save point and just down from this area is a hole in the wall with a lever handle in it. After you pull lever at end of corridor to activate transparent blocks. Head back too large room with water. As you enter this area (you can kill fish with grey ammo) go straight ahead and blow grate out if you want. This will bring you back to orginal entrance to this area, but you can access the blocks by clumbing on the wodden board by grate and run jumping to block. At upper exit from water filled room where trasparent blocks are is where lever handle goes. I never figured out how to get spell crystal where 2 rotating platforms are. Make your way back too teleporter and more trasparent blocks over the lave. In area with fan shaped knife blades and moving platforms you can jump into the gap between platforms. The second gap has a broken wall so you can get to upper walkway above this area to get life crystal and to back to otherside when done in area past the knives etc. After you finish in that area on the otherside of the bridge with the alternating moving platforms head back too last set of transparent blocks over the lava In area after third set of blocks over the lava on a landing between 2 sets of stairs you will meet an enemy, kill him for key and break floor level grate for secret area. This will take you too a room with a lever and a spell crystal. You can see this area through some bars in a hallway. When facing the steel gate that opens to let you down stairs to the save area, move a couple of steps too your right to find a wall that can be broken. In the area where you push the crates on top of the spikes to get at alcove high up in the wall, make sure you don't push the last crate right against the wall as it will fall down and you will loose access to this area. The next boss I call the butcher. When you first see him he is chopping a carcass with meat cleavers and he is levitated by small fan like motors. Don't smash or blow up the chairs and tables in the first room you see him in, these will help you out. The tables keep him from getting too close too you when you run down the hallway to relax or recharge. To defeat him you have to lead him through the double rotating knives that go in and out of the walls in the narrow area between this room and the next. Be careful you don't go through the knives yourself they are nasty. So your best route is to run to the right around the table and chairs then to your left and momentarily stand on the floor that is not moving then run through the blades on the side that will get you through without damage. When the boss gets through the knives run back to the room with the tables and chairs and jump the tables and go down the hallway you came from and recharge if you have to. I noticed that when I was down there using the mana and energy spells to top myself up the blue flickering light that engulfs you when casting a spell protects you from the meat cleavers being thrown at you. Again I did not use the ghost spell here either as I hadn't tried it yet. So here is a good place to see how it works if you have it. Then you just keep running back and forth through the knives until the boss is dead. You can crawl under the double set of spinning knives to get at the stuff behind them. You will have to start crawling aways from the knives so the moving floor puts you in the right spot to crawl under. There is a psikey here. Level 6 The next level is the water area, sort of like the Roman baths. Pay attention to the fish murals if they are discolored you can break through the walls. When you enter the room with the fountian break through the discolored fish mural on the wall and turn valve under waterfall to stop water from coming out of fountian. Then push fountian over to open gate. When you go through gate by fountian and drop down into water filled corridor turn right and head down corridor. Just before intersection with corridor going to the left the wall on your right has a slight discoloration from water level up, shoot it for secret. In room with pillars going around a large central pillar shoot crack in central pillar to find a life crystal. It is on the right side as you enter the room. When you come to the area where you meet the guy in the prison, after you cross over checkpoint go up to the cabinet the lever is in and jump up on top of it and hang over end for life crystal. Then pull lever to release the prisoner and then go up to the bars and talk to the prisoner. If he says "Can't you wait till I get there" you are talking too him too soon and it will take quite awhile to get him to push the switches. To get him to respond to you immediately wait until he disappears from sight into one of the alcoves that have a switch in them and then talk to him and he will operate switch immediately. When he pushes the switch one of the 2 platforms over the water will lower. It will be the platform on the same side as the switch. As soon as he pushes the switch, run to the platform right away as it will go down pritty quick. On one side you get an anchor on the otherside open gate by pulling lever handle down. When you enter room with floor switch too lower drawbridge, go straight ahead and blow out wall for secret area. Turn valve handle and then shoot barrels above valve for grenades. When you cross floor switch to lower the drawbridge place anchor on top of this floor switch then cross over drawbridge and stand on other floor switch. This will open wall to get at save point and spell crystal. You can leave anchor as I never found any other use for it. In the room with the large water gauge and 12 floating platforms, you have to get the water level to the red mark too open gate. Here is the quickest way to do it. The platforms are number from 1 to 12 from left to right starting at the platform in the upper left corner when your are facing the water gauge when you first enter room. Step on 2, 3, 5 & 8. When you exit the water gate room, shoot boxes ahead to access room. Make sure you get spanner on upper platform. After you get spanner head down corridor and watch for 2 holes in the walls of a corridor with blood around them. Trident spears shoot out of these holes. To get past them crawl under them or shimmy along the opposite wall from the holes. You will eventually come to a floor mounted gun, it is actually a high pressure water valve it will say it is blocked, use the spanner to get it working then turn the water onto the fire and put it out. Then go into this secret area and get the key to the gate. You can loose the spanner as well, you don't need it anymore. As you go through this gate look at pattern on wall, you can climb up here. In the room at the bottom of the stairs shoot discolored fish wall mural for secret. In the room with the waterwheel gate the vavle handles move the water troughs left and right and the levers tip the troughs left or right. Here is how the troughs should be. The top one all the way to the right and tipped right. The second one down place trough under edge of top trough and tipped to the right. The third trough down all the way to the right and tipped too the right so it spills into stationary trough. The fifth trough should be under the fourth trough and tipped to the left. The sixth and last trough in about the middle of the slot and tipped to the right. The waterwheel will turn and open gate. You will have to play with the exact positioning of the troughs in the slots as a bit off and the water will pour straight down even tough trough appears in right place. Just get a continuous flow of water. Stay out of the well until you drain it, as it is major poisonous water. When you enter the area after the waterfall kill the lizard thingy and other enemies using the ghost spell and either fire or electrical energy. After they are dead shoot the turning waterwheel with your fire weapon and a piece will break off and float up against the gate by the upper walkway. Go across the walkway and around the other side and open the gate with the lever in the wooden hut. The broken waterwheel piece will float through and then you can push it into the damaged one and it will turn and open the gate. When you go through this gate and into the large open area with water filled pit and ramps going up around the walls. Jump down into water and get Psikey piece down narrow hallway. When you come too an open area with a small pool of water and firefly's as well as a small bridge, cross bridge but beware of trap on the way. Then step on floor switch at end of hall to open wall too get key. Kill enemy behind waterfall for key. When you enter large open area with pillars you will have to fight many enemies here. In the smaller room off this main one in the upper right near exit with green arrow you will find the last piece for the pearl container. When you get to the save point by the large indoor lake and the ferryman on the raft you will notice that the blue circles don't go away after you save and that the wooden box across from it when broken has three blue ammos in it. You can save and reload your game as many times as you want. I did it 15 times myself. Why would you do that. Because everytime you save and reload your game the box will be back unbroken and you can pick up more blue ammo. Get as many as you need as you will need them. I left this area with forty. When you get on the raft the ferryman will start polling the raft, you will have to fight a large sea serpent sub-boss here. Just use your ghost spell and blast him with the blue weapon. After you leave the raft you will fight another sub-boss, a two headed thing missing one head. Don't pause on the floor leading to the walkway around this area as it will collapse and you will die. To kill this boss use the ghost spell and stand behind each of the four pillars until the monster knocks them down on top of himself eventually killing himself and letting you cross over to the doors. After you go through these doors you will pickup the white pearl. Then continue on until you meet your captian and the end of the 6th level. Level 7 When you reach room at bottom of stairs after starting level 7 look too your left too see the hole in the wall up off the floor. The last piece of the Psikey is on the otherside of that wall. You can't get too it from here, is is quite the circuitous path to get there. Go through the hole in the wall too your right as you enter this area, near where the spider is shooting at you. Work your way too large room with lever. Down corridor you can jump down where red arrow is or not. There is more than one way to do this area. If you decide too go other way crawl under gate back in the other room. You can get too top of caged area in the middle of the room by going up the stairs and jumping on top of it. Before you jump to the caged area look up above you and see secret area, you will get too it later. Jump down into pit of water with stained glass windows around it. On one side the stain glass windows hide a room with a gate, you need a key to open this gate to continue the level. Use your freeze spell on the ghosts. >From this area go down corridor with green arrow. Enter next room and get mana from small side room. Try and push top off of coffin, if you do kill ghost and get holy stone. It didn't work for me first time, I just kept jumping on top of the coffin, it appears you have to do something else first. I think get the key, anyway it will open later. Note gate behind single stained glass window. Go down next corridor with green arrow. Head up too save area and then get on moving block over lava. You need too jump into opening in wall about halfway down too get key. If you continue on the moving block after you get the key to the otherside you will come too an area of corridors and hallways, check'em out. You will come to a room with a shallow water filled pool and a red arrow. This is where you would of come down if you jumped down where the first red arrow was, when you crawled through floor level hole in wall at beginning of level. Now go back to the otherside of large laval filled room where altar is. You can take the high road or the low road. :) Go back to room where you picked up all the mana in the smaller room. Push the lid of the coffin if you haven't allready done it and defeat the ghost and get the holy stone. Now head back too where you jumped down into this area with the 6 stained glass windows. Head down other corridor. When you get to cross-corridors turn right you will have too come back here after you cause tranparent wall too dissappear. Now head backup and turn right and kill the ghost in the open area. Then leave and turn right again as you get to cross-corridor go up stairs but take hallway instead of stairs, kill ghost and get goodies around the ledge. Then leave and head up stairs too upper level and jump down where you killed second ghost and put holy stone on pedestal. Now go back too stairs too upper level and go get goodies. Also crawl under gate for secret area. The one you could see up high when you jumped across too caged area. Now head back too gate behind single stained glass window. Then open gate too get heart. Gee I wonder where a heart would go????? Put heart on the bloody altar and statue will move to give you access too area behind it. Get key in here too open gate in room behind 3 stained glass windows. In the area after this gate the skeletons can be killed by fire weapon, or the rain or missle spell. Of course the effectiveness of the weapon or spell will depend on how upgraded it is. When you get too large open area cavern with the small pillars and the green arrow to the right, go to the checkpoint around corner. Then work your way across pillars to the left. This will take you to the last psikey piece and the Psi gate. Some of the pillars have rocks on them that can be shot. when you enter room after getting of off the pillars head up into area too left of green arrow, then up ramp at end where green arrow is for last piece of Psikey. Now head back too green arrow in room after crossing pillars. In graveyard turn left and go down ramp (lots of secrets in this area), directly in front of you is block you can break, kill skeleton and go into secret area. Part way down corridor on left is another breakable block. Crawl in here for another secret area. In little alcove for this room where energy is break block on right for yet another secret area, before you crawl in head up towards red light and large rock and blow up raised rectangular platform on floor for spell crystal. In next room part way along the wall on right towards the red light is another block too break. Crawl in for another secret area which leads to location of Psi gate to use your Psikey. Use key then run through transparent owl face and get goodies and have fun, piggy , piggy. :) After you get back too room you entered secret area from turn left and head up corridor. Go straight and go down stairs and turn left, secret area along hallway with red light. You can see Psi Gate area from here. Head up into open area with pillar in middle of room. In alcove too left there are 2 secret areas, one leads to another secret area, break block and another view of Psi gate area. Now head down other corridor after leaving last secret area. When you get to top of stairs where archway and corridor too right is, go down corridor for another breakable block in the corner. Now head through archway and cross pillars to other green arrow. Good luck this area requires lots of patience as well as timing. There is lots of sliding and jumping here and if you don't do it right you will die. Can't really say when I jumped, just get used to the timimg. You have to be a bit from the edge when you jump, too close too edge and you will do a short jump and die. When you get too lava corridor and pendulum knives, get on platform. I stood in the middle of the platform to the left side and then sidestepped as needed. If your lucky like me you will get past first 4 pendulums without having too move. Watch pendulums closely, they aren't always where they seem to be, when you get used to it you will be able too sidestep them better. On otherside of lava area go down long hallway and upstairs, at top of stairs blow breakable brick for secret area. We can come back here later, go get green pearl. If you look straight ahead you will see gap in floor with steam shooting out of walls on otherside (two steam jets). Jump across and in recessed area of floor break wall on left for secret area. Pull lever in this room then head down corridor to get green pearl. Return to hallway you entered this secret area from and continue down corridor and pull lever. When you pass gate you will see ramp too your right. If you go through secret area at top of stairs after lava area you will exit that secret area and end up at top of that ramp. Now head to next ramp and tough jump across hallway too stairs, all timing. I have no tips for this ramp I just kept at it until I grabbed the otherside. If you miss the jump make your way around and try again. After you jump across area where the alternating platforms are, jump across gap and break wall on right side to get to secret area. You can go through here and go up to top of room and exit where cracked wall was at top of stairs after lava area and then take longer but safer route back to the ramp and try jump too stairs again or you can turn left and go down hallway and up stairs to the other ramp and try to jump across, it is quicker but you may die. When you make the jump go upstairs and jump across lava pendulum pit. When you get into next room with all the clay urns, head to the left and work your way too last save point in the game. Now head back to other end of this area and crossover on floating platform too otherside. Head up stairs and too checkpoint and final boss. To defeat the end boss first use the ghost spell and then place your green pearl on the pedistal the boss was floating over top of. Then using your blue ammo shoot out the four stained glass windows. After this the green pearl will rise into the air and the boss will triple in size. Take a look around and you will notice the outer walls are covered in mirrors, using your blue ammo bounce your shots of the mirrors into the boss. You will notice that the blue ammo turns red and then green. After the boss is dead work your way up above on the platforms and beams. Make sure you pickup the green pearl again to open final gate, pick up trunk key and open one of the trunks. Then enter balloon too end the game and enjoy the full motion video. :) ********************************* ODT CHEATS. You find below stuff at the end of the game if you want to wait.
