========
Controls
========
The game will teach you the controls as you go along. Within menus, the buttons
are also listed at the bottom of the touch screen. The game is played chiefly
using buttons. The stylus will only be used for a few functions.

(Circle Pad) or [D-Pad]: Move/Select Menu Items
(X): Display Switch Menu
(Y): Check Pokemon Info (within Switch Menu)
(A): Use Move (A)/Talk/Check/Decide/Send Message
(B): Use Move (B)/Back (if no Move (B) assigned, your Pokemon looks at you)
{R}: Register a Favorite (within Switch Menu)
[START] or [SELECT]: Display Pause Menu/Filter or Sort (within Switch Menu)

===========
Switch Menu
===========
Pressing (X) outside of special battles brings up the Switch Menu, where you
can switch the Pokemon you are currently controlling. The game is paused while
this menu is displayed, except in Two-Player mode. It also provides info about
all the Pokemon in your Collection.

- To switch your current Pokemon, select the new Pokemon and press (A).
- The switch will fail if your current Pokemon is attacked while switching. The
  process can be sped up by pressing (A) repeatedly.
- Press [START] or [SELECT] while in the Switch Menu to filter or sort the list
  of displayed Pokemon.
- Register the selected Pokemon as a "Favorite" by pressing {R}. The favorited
  Pokemon will have a heart symbol and be displayed at the top of the general
  unfiltered, unsorted list.
- Press (Y) to display detailed information about the selected Pokemon.

- The "Power" number indicates the overall strength of each Pokemon.
- The name registered in the Mii Maker application is displayed as the Original
  Toy Trainer, to the right of the "Power" number. If a Mii character has not
  been created, the username set on the 3DS is displayed.
- Attack/Defense power is found under the Original Toy Trainer, and ranges from
  1 to 5 circle symbols. The more circles it has, the higher it is.
- The name and type of moves registered to the (A) and (B) buttons are
  displayed beneath the Pokemon's Power and HP. The more star symbols the move
  has, the stronger it is. Moves with additional effects have a > symbol, with
  the effect displayed to the right. If the move type matches the Pokemon's
  type, the star symbols will be yellow, and its power will be greater than
  normal.
- If a Pokemon has a Special Trait, it is explained at the top right. The names
  and icons of Pokemon with Special Traits are displayed in different colors. A
  list of Special Traits is provided in section 8.

== Saving ==
Your progress is saved automatically at certain points:
- entering, returning to, or switching between towns
- using any of the move machines in town
- entering a field
- entering or clearing an area or battle

You can only have one saved data file at a time. Don't turn off your 3DS while
"Saving..." is displayed on the screen. To save at any point, press [START] to
access the Pause Menu and choose "Save and Quit." You'll be at the gate of a
town when you Continue the game, no matter where you were when you saved.

== Deleting your game ==
To delete saved data, press and hold (A), (B), (X), and (Y) simultaneously
while the game is starting up from the 3DS HOME menu. When the Title Menu
appears, release the buttons and you will be prompted on whether you want to
delete your save. Your data cannot be recovered once it is deleted.

== Legacy Mode ==
Once you have finished the story, you can access Legacy Mode by holding
{L}, {R}, and left on the [D-Pad] as you select "Continue" at the Title Menu.
There will be a confirmation sound and a message saying you have activated
Legacy Mode and reset the Power of Pokemon in areas. To exit Legacy Mode, quit
the game.

=======
In Town
=======
Towns provide Launch Pads and Tunnels for travel to various places. They also
provide many facilities to help you on your journey. As you progress through
the game, more and more facilities will become available.

- The Glowing Fountain at the center of town restores the HP of all your
  Pokemon, including any that fainted. All Rusty Pokemon are also restored.
- Tunnels are opened by approaching sleeping Drilbur in the field. It will
  wake up and dig a tunnel that you can use to go back and forth between town
  and field.
- The Information facilities hold various records for your game. Move left or
  right with the (Circle Pad) or [D-Pad] to switch between pages.
- The Collection facilities allow you to check information about the Pokemon
  you have encountered. Befriended Pokemon are highlighted. Different forms of
  each Pokemon are registered separately, for a total of 717 forms.
- The Release Point is where you release befriended Pokemon. Release Pokemon
  will leave behind (P). If you release 7 of a species of Pokemon, they will
  also introduce you to an evolution of that Pokemon, if one exists. The game
  will prevent entry into any area or battle if have 2,500 or more Pokemon in
  your collection. Alternatively, you can use the Move School to release
  Pokemon.
- Easterly Town's Munna collects Passwords revealed outside the game. Enter
  Passwords using the stylus. If entered correctly, new Pokemon will appear
  somewhere in the game. Find it and defeat it to befriend it.

== Move-related facilities ==
- Move-a-majigs are used to teach your Pokemon a random move in exchange for
  (P). If the Pokemon already knows two moves, it will have to forget one
  before learning a new move.
- Move Vendors teach a specific move in exchange for (P), assuming the current
  Pokemon can learn it. Each Move Vendor offers a different move. A list of
  vendors is provided in the section 9.
- Move Swappers will swap the moves registered to (A) and (B) in exchange for
  15,000(P).
- The Move School allows you to have your other Pokemon teach your current
  Pokemon a move that it can learn. Not all of the moves that a Pokemon can
  learn can be taught through the Move School. Each move requires 1 to 6
  Pokemon to pass it on. Select the move to teach, then the Pokemon to teach
  it. After the current Pokemon learns the move, the selected Pokemon will
  disappear.

== Two-Player mode ==
The Two Player facilities that become available after clearing the first Battle
Royale allow you to play with a friend via 3DS Local Play. In Two-Player mode,
the game won't be paused while you're in the Switch Menu. Only areas cleared by
both players available for play. Wonder Keys are shared between players, but as
long as one player's current Pokemon has HP, it can restore its partner's HP by
standing next to it. Tipped-over Pokemon will befriend the first player to
reach them. Pokemon can also be exchanged by using the Gift Exchange facility
in the lobby. The Pokemon you give away willno longer be in your own
Collection.

== Shopscope ==
The Shopscope becomes available after clearing the first Battle Royale allows
you to peek at your Toy Shop, where other players' Mii characters can visit via
StreetPass. You can also toggle StreetPass activation and edit your greeting
for this game here. The other player must also have StreetPass activated to
communicate with your game. When StreetPass is successful, their Mii will visit
and spend (P) at your Toy Shop. Select "Player Cards" to see their info and
battle their collections. If you win, you'll be able to borrow his or her
Pokemon. It will show up at an area entrance as a Helper Pokemon and help you
clear an area. If you don't encounter anyone on StreetPass and have at least 2
Mii characters on your system, they will visit your Toy Shop once a day or so.
You can also "Invite a Customer" for 10 Play Coins earned on your 3DS system
outside the game.

========
Gameplay
========
Fields contain towns, areas, Battle Royales, Forts, and Battlefields. Areas
will normally contain between 3 and 5 stages, with a Boss stage at the end.
Once you unlock Rumpus Rooms, you may be launched into one between stages. It
is possible to wander into multiple Rumpus Rooms in a single area. Defeat the
Boss stage to clear the area.

Pressing (A) makes your Pokemon use the move assigned to (A), and likewise for
(B). If the Pokemon only knows one move, then (B) will make it look at you.
Every move has a type and strength. The damage it will deal depends on how it
matches up with your Pokemon's and its foes' types. When a Pokemon you defeated
tips over and falls to the ground, you can touch it to befriend it and add it
to your Collection.

(P) is the currency of Toyland. When you defeat foes or clear battles, (P) will
appear. You also get (P) as a Goodbye Gift from released Pokemon. Touch them to
pick them up. You can spend (P) by using the move Fling, at Move-a-majigs, Move
Vendors, Move Swappers, and the World Rank machine.

== Launch Pads ==
Launch Pads will transport you to a different place. Launch Pads found outside
of a town are a one-way trip. You'll find different types of Launch Pads in
your explorations:
- Trampolines launch you between towns, out of Rumpus Rooms, and into or out of
  areas. Most Battle Royales are also entered using a trampoline.
- Catapults launch you into a Fort.
- Springboards launch you to the next stage within an area. If the springboard
  is yellow, it will launch you into the Boss stage. If it is yellow and
  sparkles, the boss will be a legendary Pokemon in place of the area's normal
  boss Pokemon.

== Game Screens ==
Upper screen:
- The HP Gauge below Pokemon shows how much HP the Pokemon has. It goes down as
  it takes damage. The Pokemon is defeated when it runs out.
- When you battle a Boss, its HP Gauge is displayed along the bottom.
- Your Combo is displayed on the upper right corner. When you defeat multiple
  Pokemon in a row, the Combo increases and makes it slightly easier to tip
  over Pokemon. The Combo ends if you don't attack Pokemon for a while.

Lower screen:
- The name and type of the Pokemon you are battling will show up in the upper
  left corner.
- The number of Wonder Keys you have are displayed in the upper right corner.
  When your Pokemon is defeated, the number of Keys decreases by one, and the
  game prompts you to switch to another Pokemon. When all 3 Keys are gone, it's
  Game Over, and you'll be returned to a town.
- The minimap displays different icons depending on your location.
- The bottom displays your location, your (P), the number of Pokemon in your
  Collection, and a few button controls.

== Special Battles ==
The following battles follow a few rules, and you can't befriend Pokemon while
fighting these battles.

- Battle Royale: Win the battle by defeating all the Pokemon in the area within
  the time limit. Pick up TIME items dropped by defeated Pokemon to extend the
  time limit. You won't be able to switch Pokemon until your current Pokemon
  faints.

- Team Battle: Select up to two teammates to battle with your current Pokemon.
  You can't switch Pokemon during the battle. At a certain point in the game,
  you'll be able to collect Windup Energy dropped by defeated Pokemon. When you
  have enough Windup Energy, press (X) to activate Hyper Mode until the Windup
  Energy is depleted.

- Charge Battle: Send a group of your most powerful Pokemon against legions of
  your foes. Press (A) quickly and rotate the (Circle Pad) to build up the
  power of your charge. If your team is stronger than the opposing group, you
  will win and advance. If not, you will lose the Charge Battle and have to
  build up your forces to try again.

*******************************************************************************
4) Tips and Tricks
*******************************************************************************
== General Tips ==
- Save your money for use after your finish the story. Increasing the World
  Rank is very costly.
- You can use the (Circle Pad) or [D-Pad] to change directions while using a
  move.
- If you attack foes from behind, it is easier to defeat them.
- The Poison Boost trait is especially useful for its immunity to Poison.
- Certain moves home in on foes closest to you. These are Aura Sphere, Blue
  Flare, Judgement, Magical Leaf, Magnet Bomb, and Swift.
- You won't be allowed to participate in any battles or Two-Player mode if you
  have 2,500 or more Pokemon. Reduce the number of Pokemon at the Release Point
  or Move School.
- Release 7 of the same species of Pokemon at the Release Point and they will
  introduce you to their evolution (if they have one) as a Goodbye Gift.
- Keep Pokemon with good moves like Protect in order to pass them down through
  the Move School (located in Axle Town).

== Befriending Pokemon ==
- Clear all areas in a field before revisiting any areas. Some Pokemon become
  available only when all areas are cleared.
- When your Combo number goes up, it's easier to tip over Pokemon. Increase
  your Combo by defeating multiple Pokemon in a row. The Combo ends if you
  don't attack Pokemon for a while.
- If you make a Pokemon wobbly, don't miss your chance to tip it over. It won't
  stay wobbly forever.
- The Gutsy trait makes it easier to make the foe wobbly.
- The moves Focus Energy, Frost Breath, Spacial Rend, and Storm Throw make it
  easier to make the foe wobbly. Spacial Rend is specific to Palkia, and Storm
  Throw is specific to Throh.
- Alternatively, use Endeavor or False Swipe until the foe is wobbled, and then
  use a finishing move to befriend it.
- The move Heal Pulse can be used to heal foes with low HP so that you can
  continue attacking until they wobble.
- Sparkling Pokemon are guaranteed to befriend you as long as you defeat them.
- All random bosses sparkle, so if you're having trouble, focus on survival.

Regarding normal bosses: Boss Pokemon found at the end of areas follow a rather
predictable pattern of attack. They will usually perform their main move a few
times before executing their second move. After the second move, there is a
moment where the boss is stationary, giving you an opening for attack. This is
when the boss is most vulerable to being wobbled. This window of opportunity is
rather short, and the boss will soon become invulnerable to and execute a
shockwave before restarting the pattern. The shockwave will blow you away if
you're too close to the boss, and it may execute the shockwave out of order if
it fails to target you while you're close to it. Each iteration of this routine
will be executed more quickly as the boss's HP decreases. It is also possible
to wobble the boss while it is charging for an attack, but this is a rare
occurance and more risky when trying to avoid attack. Once the boss is wobbled,
do your best to take it down before it recovers.

== Rusty Pokemon ==
Rusty Pokemon are restored at Glowing Fountains, which is when they are given a
new Special Trait and a new set of moves. Since the game doesn't save when you
use the fountain, you can take advantage of this to get better moves or a
different trait. Simply reset the game without saving (use the HOME or POWER
button) and visit the fountain again. Rinse and repeat until you get a
combination you like. Rusty Pokemon will never have Heroic or ++ traits, only
normal or + traits, so don't waste your time looking for one.

If you're lucky enough to have a Rusty that gets a blue trait (a combination of
normal traits), the combination will always be the same no matter how many
times you reset. It is possible to get ++ traits as part of a blue trait. There
have been accounts of people getting Epics from resetting Rusty Pokemon, but
bear in mind that this is incredibly rare.

== Battling Tips ==
Battle Royale:
- Staying calm and running around the fray is an option, but beware of your
  time limit. TIME items do not drop if a foe is defeated by another Pokemon.
- Knocking foes into the electrified ropes to defeat them is a valid tactic.

Team Battle:
- Ally Pokemon will only use the move assigned to (A).
- Learn the turrets' patterns and avoid their attacks.

5) Walkthrough
*******************************************************************************
After the beginning cinematic, you'll be in Beginner's Park as a Pikachu with
ThunderShock. The game will teach you the controls as you go. If you fall in
battle, you can switch to another Pokemon. If you fall 3 times or run out of
Pokemon, you will lose and be forced to start over from the beginning.

== Beginner's Park ==
- Snivy
- Tepig
- Oshawott
- Pansage
- Pansear
- Panpour
- Victini
- Scraggy
- Klink
- Zekrom [boss]

As you move forward, you'll encounter some Pokemon (Pansage, Pansear, and
Panpour) to fight. When you hit them, the top left of the touch screen will
display the name of the Pokemon, its type, and whether you have befriended it.
Defeated Pokemon drop (P), which is Toyland's currency. You'll want to collect
and save (P) for use after you finish the story. Fight through (or run around)
the Pokemon and hop on the red Launch Pad at the end.

At the second stage, you'll encounter the 5th generation starters, beginning
with Oshawott, a Water Pokemon. If you defeat it, it will fall and you can
befriend it by walking over to it. Switch to Oshawott (by pressing X) to defeat
the Fire Pokemon coming up. Keep in mind that if you get hit while switching,
it will fail, so run a distance away from enemies first. Defeat the Tepig at
the back and it will fall to be befriended. Grass Pokemon are up next, so
switch over to the new Tepig and defeat them. Pick up a Snivy while you're at
it and hop to the next Launch Pad.

In the next stage, you'll meet some more Pokemon, along with Victini. Defeat it
to befriend it. Next you'll see a yellow boss Launch Pad. Hop on and you'll
encounter Zekrom. Hit it a few times or get defeated and the battle will end.
You won't be able to return to Beginner's Park.

*********************************
5.A) Chapter 1 - Battle Royale! *
*********************************
Heal your Pokemon's HP at the Glowing Fountain. The Pokemon around town will
tell you about the Battle Royale. Before you leave, take a brief look around
town. The Pokemon and Signs will give you tips throughout the game; interact
with them by pressing (A) near them. When you're done, leave town through the
gate to the south to find some stronger teammates.

===================
1-1 Trailhead Field
===================
Head east to find a Meadow area. Further east is a Forest area, and even
further lies the first Battle Royale. Go through the Meadow and Forest areas,
in whichever order, defeating Pokemon as you go to pick up stronger allies.
The game recommends going through the Meadow first, but it's up to you. You
will need allies with a Power of 70 or more before you can challenge Battle
Royale 1.

If you manage to wobble a Pokemon (it will see stars), defeat it quickly and
you will probably befriend it. If you encounter a sparkling Pokemon, you are
guaranteed to befriend it as long as you defeat it. If you get hit by a status
effect, move the circle pad quickly to get rid of it faster. Certain Pokemon
will only appear after you clear all the areas in the field, so do so before
revisiting them.

== Meadow ==
- Rattata
- Togepi
- Skitty
- Delcatty
- Tepig
- Pignite [boss]
- Patrat
- Minccino

== Forest ==
- Pikachu
- Pichu
- Snivy
- Servine [boss]
- Pansage
- Pidove
- Zorua
- Emolga

After going through both areas, you should have a Pokemon with sufficient Power
to challenge the Battle Royale. You may want to run through the areas a few
more times to befriend more Pokemon. When you think you are ready, heal at the
fountain in town and enter the Battle Royale. The Sign at the entrance lists
the Battle Royale rules.

== Battle Royale 1 ==
Difficulty: Power about 70
Prize Money: 100(P)
Bosses: Axew, Scraggy

Defeat the Pokemon in the ring until the Bosses show up. The ring must be
cleared of all other Pokemon to win. There is no time limit for this Battle
Royale, but you will be ranked based on how quickly you win. The highest rank
achieveable is S+. The ropes around the egde of the ring are electrified, so
it will hurt if you run into them. Knocking foes into the ropes to defeat them
is a tactic. After you clear the Battle Royale, the gate to the next field will
open.

===================
1-2 Seabreeze Trail
===================
As you enter, you'll see a sleeping Drilbur in a hole. Approach it to open up
the tunnel connecting to Toy Town. While we're here, we might as well visit the
Toy Town fountain for a bit of story. You now have access to the Shopscope and
Two-Player mode. Two-Player mode is where you can play with another person who
is also playing this game on their 3DS. The Shopscope lets you use StreetPass
and check your Toy Shop. When a certain number of customers visit your Toy
Shop, you will unlock certain Pokemon. The Mii characters on your system will
visit it once every day or so, so check the Shopscope whenever it has an
exclamation point.

Pokemon will also start roaming the field outside of areas. Patrat will appear
back in 1-1 Trailhead Field, and Ducklett spawn in 1-2 Seabreeze Trail. These
field Pokemon can be befriended, though they are typically at a lower Power
compared to those befriended inside an area. Get back to the field through the
tunnel in town. Once again, go through and clear the areas. Battle Royale 2
requires Pokemon with a Power of 120 or more.

== Field ==
- Ducklett

== Meadow ==
- Spearow
- Hoppip
- Skiploom
- Poochyena
- Buneary
- Lillipup
- Herdier [boss]
- Minccino

== Beach ==
- Horsea
- Remoraid
- Wingull
- Buizel
- Oshawott
- Dewott [boss]
- Panpour
- Ducklett

Starting with this one, each Battle Royale will have a time limit. You will
start the battle with 60 seconds on the clock. As you defeat the Pokemon in the
ring, they will drop TIME items that you can pick up to extend the time limit
by 2 seconds per item. If time runs out, you lose.

== Battle Royale 2 ==
Difficulty: Power about 120
Prize Money: 200(P)
Bosses: Throh, Sawk

Once you beat Battle Royale 2, move on to the next field.

===============
1-3 Echo Valley
===============
Wake up the Drilbur to open the tunnel to Toy Town. In this field, there are 3
Battle Royales, each with a type restriction. This means that only Pokemon
exhibiting a certain type can enter and fight in the Battle Royale. The 3 areas
open to us in this field cater to exactly those types.

The Forest has Pokemon for the Grass-type Battle Royale (Power 160+). The Beach
holds Water-types for the next Battle Royale (Power 170+), and the new Cave
area spawns Fire-types for the last Battle Royale (Power 180+). The game won't
stop you from challenging the Battle Royale if you don't have the recommended
Power, but it will be difficult to clear them if you aren't powerful enough.
Clear all 3 Battles in any order to gain access to the next field.

== Field ==
- Pansage
- Pansear
- Panpour

== Forest ==
- Oddish
- Sunkern
- Wurmple
- Shroomish

- Simipour [boss]

== Cave ==
- Vulpix
- Growlithe
- Magby
- Wynaut
- Tepig
- Pansear
- Simisear [boss]
- Woobat

== Grass-Type Battle ==
Difficulty: Power about 160
Required: Grass
Prize Money: 300(P)
Bosses: Ivysaur, Bayleef, Grovyle, Grotle

== Water-Type Battle ==
Difficulty: Power about 170

Bosses: Wartortle, Croconaw, Marshtomp, Prinplup

== Fire-Type Battle ==
Difficulty: Power about 180
Required: Fire
Prize Money: 300(P)
Bosses: Charmeleon, Quilava, Combusken, Monferno

After winning all 3 Battle Royales, you can move on to the next field.

=======================
1-4 Challenger's Ground
=======================
Wake up the Drilbur and explore the field. There are 4 areas in this one, and
the Battle Royale has a Semifinal as well as a Championship. You will have to
clear them one after the other. The Semifinal recommends only a Power of more
than 250 to enter, but it would be a good idea to gather Pokemon with a Power
of more than 280 for the Championship.

You may encounter Audino in your travels. Instead of doing damage, Audino's
move heals everything around it, so you get healed instead of damaged if you
get hit by the move. You may want to take advantage of this opportunity to heal
up after defeating everything else and before defeating the Audinos.

== Field ==
- Purrloin
- Blitzle

== Meadow ==
- Pidgey
- Pidgeotto
- Meowth
- Sentret
- Mareep

- Blitzle
- Zebstrika [boss]
- Audino

== Forest ==
- Jigglypuff

- Taillow
- Purrloin
- Liepard [boss]
- Deerling (Spring Form)

== Beach ==

- Munna
- Scraggy
- Gothita
- Gothorita [boss]

== Semifinal ==
Difficulty: Power about 250
Prize Money: 500(P)
Bosses: Vullaby, Pawniard, Deino

After defeating the Semifinal, switch to a healthier Pokemon if you want and
proceed to the Championship. If you return to town now, you'll have to go
through the Semifinal again.

== Championship ==
Difficulty: Power about 280
Price Money: 1,000(P)
Prize: Cool Key
Bosses: Serperior, Samurott, Emboar

Once you clear the Championship, you'll get the Cool Key, which proves that
you're the Champion to the Pokemon you talk to. Having nowhere else to go, head
back to Toy Town. Move towards the fountain to advance the story. You'll be
forced on the Road to Easterly Town for the first and only time. Talk to the
Pokemon standing around if you feel like it and keep moving north to see a
cutscene and start the next chapter.

***********************************
5.B) Chapter 2 - Stolen Glowdrops *
***********************************
You'll see another cutscene upon arriving at Easterly Town. Afterwards, the
Glowing Fountain won't really be glowing anymore, but it will still do its job
for you no matter how often you use it. If you look around, you'll find a Munna
that takes Passwords on the west side of town and a Launch Pad to Toy Town to
the east. Launch Pads to previous towns in general will be located on the east
side. When you're done, go outside and explore the field.

====================
2-1 Sun-Dappled Bank
====================
If you've had two customers visit your Toy Shop, Uxie will appear in the Lake
area. Uxie randomly spawns in the last stage before the boss, but will
disappear if you take too long to get there or if it wanders offscreen. If you
want to befriend it, it would be a good idea to run past all the other Pokemon.
Uxie doesn't spawn all the time, and you are not guaranteed to befriend it, so
keep trying if you don't find it the first time around. It is recommended that
you have a Pokemon with Power 360 or higher to challenge the Mysterious Fort on
the far east side of the field.

== Mysterious Fort ==
Difficulty: Power about 360
Prize Money: 1,500(P)
Minibosses: Watchog, Boldore, Amoonguss
Boss: Krookodile

The Mysterious Fort is not a Battle Royale. It is actually a Team Battle arena,
except you aren't able to bring in teammates yet. Be aware that you won't be
able to switch your Pokemon. You will be timed, but there is no time limit. Go
through each room, defeating everything on the screen. Eventually, a miniboss
will show up; defeat it and it will drop a mini-glowdrop, which will heal about
half of your HP. Keep moving forward this way, and eventually you will reach
the boss stage, where the boss will spawn. Defeat it and claim your victory.
After clearing the Mysterious Fort and opening the gate, proceed to the next
field.

===================
2-2 Misty Edgewater
===================
Approach Drilbur to open up a tunnel to Easterly Town. In this field, there is
both a Battle Royale to the southeast and another Fort to the northeast. You
need to defeat the Filthy Fort in order to move on, but you won't be able to
challenge it until you get the Team Catapult prize for clearing the Battle
Royale. The Battle Royale is for Ghosts only with a Power about 450. Although
all the areas have Ghost-type Pokemon for you to befriend, the neighboring
Hauntyard has the most.

== Ghost-Type Battle ==
Difficulty: Power about 450
Required: Ghost
Prize Money: 1,500(P)
Prize: Team Catapult
Boss: Spiritomb

Once you clear the Battle Royale, you will receive the Team Catapult, which
will allow 3 Pokemon to battle together in a Team Battle. You'll need to use
this to clear the Filthy Fort. To use it, choose 2 allies to stand on the
platforms on the left and right. Then, hop on the middle platform to start the
Team Battle. The game won't prevent you from starting a Team Battle with less
than 2 allies, but it will be more difficult.

Team Pokemon react and attack on their own. They will only use the move
assigned to the (A) button. If any of your allies faint, you can revive it by
getting close to it for a bit. If you faint, you will be switched to one of
your allies. If everyone faints, you lose.

== Filthy Fort ==
Difficulty: Power about 440
Prize Money: 2,000(P)
Minibosses: Swoobat, Beheeyem, Gardevoir
Boss: Garbodor

Once you clear Filthy Fort, move on to the next field through the gate.

==================
2-3 Soothing Shore
==================
Wake up Drilbur for the tunnel to town. If you've had 5 customers visit your
Toy Shop, Mesprit will appear in the Lake area. These Toy Shop arrivals behave
like the Uxie in 2-1 Sun-Dappled Bank, appearing briefly in the last stage
before the boss.

Once again, there is both a Battle Royale as well as a Fort in this field. Both
recommend a Power of 550 or higher. Clearing this Bug-type Battle Royale gets
you a High Gear, which allows you to move faster in town and in the field. This
is completely optional and doesn't help in battles, but it is nice to have.
Bug-type Pokemon are in all the areas, Treetop areas in particular.

When going through the Treetops, you may see some Swadloons buffing themselves
and becoming invinicble. Don't be alarmed; it will wear off quickly. You'll
want to hit them when it does wear off so they don't get a chance to buff
themselves again.

field.

===================
2-4 Shimmering Lake
===================
Azelf will appear in the Lake area here if you've had 10 customers visit your
Toy Shop. You may notice that the path through the Treetops branches off
towards the end. Pokemon will spawn at the end of these branches, so it may be
worthwhile to do some extra exploring. The last segment of the Lake has a
circular path; the islands furthest east and west have hidden, invisible
Pokemon. If you hit them a few times, they will drop some (P), reveal
themselves, and disappear. It's not possible to catch these Pokemon. Spots like
these will show up in later areas as well, and the easiest way to find these
spots is by spamming a homing move like Magical Leaf.

This field has something new - the Waterside Battlefield. This is a Charge
Battle where you pit your strongest Pokemon against a legion of your enemies.
However, in order do that, you will need a Charge Flag, which you get at the
local Battle Royale. You can try to enter the Battlefield on your own, but you
won't stand a chance. The local Battle Royale is for Pokemon with a Power of
660 or higher.

Difficulty: Power about 660
Prize Money: 2,200(P)
Prize: Charge Flag
Bosses: Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon

Once Leafeon appears, you'll want to take it out quickly. It uses Magical Leaf,
and if you haven't seen it already, you'll learn that it's a nuisance to go up
against. Once you win the Battle Royale, you'll get the Charge Flag, which lets
your Pokemon charge together for the upcoming Charge Battle.

== Waterside Battlefield ==
Boss: Scolipede

You'll quickly find that Charge Battles are really quite simple and easy. As
you enter the Battlefield, you will automatically summon 8 of your toughest
allies to charge with you. Now all you have to do is rotate the (Circle Pad)
and press (A) when it says. You'll likely slam through the opposition and take
out the final boss with ease. Once complete, stroll on through the gate to the
Great Glowing Fountain. Story ensues, and you'll find yourself at the entrance
of a Team Battle, with no way out. Bring out your toughest friends for the
upcoming once-in-a-game event.

== Great Fountain Hall ==
Boss: Cobalion

You're likely get completely owned by Cobalion. Don't fret though; this was
meant to happen. Once defeated, Cobalion will knock you into the next field and
the next chapter.

************************************
5.C) Chapter 3 - Tracking Cobalion *
************************************
You'll land in front of Westerly Town and hobble in, reminscent of the time
you fell out of Beginner's Park. There's a new facility in this town called the
Move Swapper. This is where you swap the moves assigned to (A) and (B) for
15,000(P). This is really only useful if you want to set up moves for your
allies in Team Battles. Once you're done exploring around town, go outside and
explore the field. I recommend saving the money for when you finish the story.

================
3-1 Rugged Flats
================
This time around, if you've had 20 customers visit your Toy Shop, 2 Pokemon
will show up. Both Phione and Manaphy are found at the Beach. They show up
together and Manaphy can spawn more Phiones. As you recruit Pokemon, you will
find that some of them have Special Traits. When Pokemon with Special Traits
tip over, they will have a blue gear outlining their bodies instead of the
normal white circle. These traits will usually have helpful effects on your
Pokemon. You can see the description of the trait by pressing (Y) in the Switch
Menu. The icons and names of Pokemon with Special Traits will have a pink
background in the Switch Menu.

If you see a Launch Pad pointing in a strange direction, hopping on it will
take you to a Rumpus Room. These are like mini untimed Battle Royales. If the
Launch Pad flings you to the right of the usual direction, you will land in a
type 1 room full of 1 or more species of Pokemon from the area that you will
have to defeat. If the Launch Pad flings you to the left, then the type 2
Rumpus Room will have 4 giant boss Pokemon that you must defeat. The Launch Pad
will appear once you clear the room. It is possible to catch the Pokemon that
spawn in the Rumpus Room. Once it is cleared, you will resume your progress and
be launched to the next stage.

There's a Battle Royale as well as a Fort in this field. If you try to enter
the Fort without clearing the Battle Royale, you'll be forced out for not
having a Windup Energy Magnet. Naturally, you get this magnet by clearing this
field's Battle Royale, which is for Normal-type Pokemon with a Power of 760 or
higher. As usual, Normal-types can be found in all areas, but I recommend
finding some with Fighting-type moves at the Canyon. This will give you a type
advantage over the other Normal-type Pokemon.

Required: Normal
Prize Money: 2,500(P)
Prize: Windup Energy Magnet
Bosses: Stoutland, Cinccino, Bouffalant, Tauros

Now that you have the Windup Energy Magnet, enemies in the Team Battles will
drop Windup Energy. Picking it up will fill your Windup Energy Gauge. Once it's
more than half full, press (X) to activate Hyper Mode. When this happens, your
allies jump on you, you get Attack and Defense boosts, and your HP is slowly
restored. Your Windup Energy Gauge will also drain, and Hyper Mode will end
when the gauge drains completely. If you don't have any trouble defeating the
minibosses, you may want to build up your gauge until it is full and save it
for the final boss.

==================
3-2 Volcanic Slope
==================
Wake up the sleeping Drilbur for the tunnel back to town. This field houses one
of two Autumnwood areas in all of Toyland. Tornadus may pop up in your journey
through this area. It will flee the scene once you hit it, but after 3
encounters, it will show up as the area's boss in place of the normal boss,
where you get the opportunity to befriend it. When this happens, the Launch Pad
to the boss will sparkle. The Kricketots you find in Autumnwood tend to use
Repraisal, which hurts you if you hurt them. If you want to avoid pain, it's
best to let them be until the buff goes away.

The Battle Royale in this field is optional. Clearing it will win you an item
called the Swaparound, which allows you to change the order of Pokemon in Hyper
Mode during Team Battles. This lets you switch the Pokemon you are using
without having to faint, but at the cost of Windup Energy during Hyper Mode.
The Battle Royale is for Rock-types with a Power of over 860. The Canyon houses
several Rock-type Pokemon.

Minibosses: Salamence, Garchomp, Tyranitar

==========================
3-3 Firebreathing Mountain
==========================
Wake up Drilbur for the tunnel. As you are exploring the new field, you may
come across what looks like a small pile of rocks south of the Autumnwood area
that says "You cannot enter now" when approached. This will open up into a hole
and grant access to a unique area once you finish the story.

Jirachi can be found in the Tower if your Toy Shop has had at least 40
customers. This field also has the only other Autumnwood area in Toyland. Like
Tornadus in the last field, Thundarus will pop up 3 times before becoming a
random boss. If you catch both Tornadus and Thundarus, Landorus is unlocked and
will show up as a random boss for the other Autumnwood area in 3-2 Volcanic
Slope once you finish the story.

As you explore the areas, you will also begin to pick up Pokemon with the
Special Trait Rusty. When these Pokemon tip over, they will be outlined by a
pink gear instead of a blue one. When you pick them up, they will only know the
move Struggle, but if you take them to a Glowing Fountain to wash off the rust,
they will get new moves and a new Special Trait. If you're not happy with the
new moves or trait, you can reset your game and attempt to get a different
combination, provided you don't do something that causes the game to save after
washing the rusted Pokemon. For more details on this, see section 4.

To move on, you have to charge through your enemies at the Mountain Path
Battlefield. However, you won't stand a chance until you get the Charge Flag +
from the local Battle Royale. A Power of about 1,000 is recommended for taking
it on.

5.D) Chapter 4 - The World Axle and the Secret of the Wonder Key *
******************************************************************
If you've been paying attention to the story, you'll know that your Wonder Key
is now bent, making it hard to wind it up. This means that switches will be
slower than normal. You can make them faster by pressing (A) quickly. After the
scene, you arrive at Northerly Town. There's nothing new here, so heal up and
head outside.

=================
4-1 Frozen Tundra
=================
If you look around, you'll see two paths forward, both blocked by Cobalion's
Forts. Neither will grant you entrance if your Wonder Key is bent. Challenging
the Battle Royale at the Temple of Keys will fix this problem. The Temple of
Keys Battle Royale is recommended for Pokemon with a Power higher than 1,080.

== Temple Battle ==
Difficulty: Power about 1,080
Prize Money: 4,000(P)
Prize: Temple Key
Boss: Golurk

Once you clear the Temple of Keys, you will receive the Temple Key to replace
your bent key. Afterwards, you'll find that you will have to make the Path of
Heroes appear in order to pursue Cobalion. To do that, you must clear the
Battle Royales found beyond Cobalion's Forts. The first Fort (the southern one)
is for Pokemon with a Power of about 1,100. The second one (to the north) is
for Pokemon with a Power of about 1,300. You can find Pokemon strong enough for
Fort 2 at 4-2 Everspring Valley, which is unlocked after clearing Fort 1. Both
Forts and all subsequent Battle Royales must be cleared in order to complete
the Path of Heroes.

== Cobalion's Fort 1 ==
Difficulty: Power about 1,100
Prize Money: 4,500(P)
Minibosses: Beartic, Abomasnow, Delibird
Boss: Escavalier

This Fort is the first one in which there are turrets on the edge of the some
of the rooms. These turrets will dish out a particular attack in a particular
place at certain time intervals. They do hurt you, so it's good to learn their
patterns and avoid their attacks. All following Forts will have turrets. After
clearing Fort 1, you will gain access to 4-2 Everspring Valley, which will be
covered next. Once you're done with 4-2 Everspring Valley, return to 4-1 Frozen
Tundra and take on Cobalion's Fort 2.

== Cobalion's Fort 2 ==
Difficulty: Power about 1,300
Prize Money: 5,000(P)
Minibosses: Sudowoodo, Vespiquen, Gyarados
Boss: Accelgor

Clearing Fort 2 will open up 4-3 Sunny Seashore. This field is covered after
4-2 Everspring Valley. After clearing all the Battle Royales in both 4-2
Everspring Valley and 4-3 Sunny Seashore, the Path of Heroes will be complete.
Cross the path to enter 4-4 Fallaway Edge, covered after the next two sections.

The Drilbur sleeps next to the Forest area. Be sure to go over and wake it up.
Celebi appears in the Forest if you've had 60 customers visit your Toy Shop.
There is another pile of rocks in the northwestern part of the field. Once
again, this will open up into a hole once you finish the story.

There are 2 Battle Royales here, one for Poison-types and one for Flying-types.
A Power higher than 1,250 is recommended for the Poison-type Battle Royale, and
a Power higher than 1,300 is recommended for the Flying-type Battle Royale.
Both must be cleared in order for the Path of Heroes to be completed. Several
Poison- and Flying-type Pokemon can be found in all of the areas.

== Ground-Type Battle ==
Difficulty: Power about 1,350
Required: Ground
Prize Money: 5,500(P)
Bosses: Rhyperior, Donphan

== Fighting-Type Battle ==
Difficulty: Power about 1,400
Required: Fighting
Prize Money: 6,000(P)
Bosses: Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Hitmontop

Finishing both Battle Royales will open up two sections of the Path of Heroes.
Go back to 4-1 Frozen Tundra. If you haven't yet, clear Cobalion's Fort 1 to
gain access to 4-2 Everspring Valley. If you've already cleared 4-2 Everspring
Valley and completed the Path of Heroes, then cross over to 4-4 Fallaway Edge.

=================
4-4 Fallaway Edge
=================
Wake up Drilbur right when you enter. This field doesn't have any areas, only
Battle Royales, Team Battles, and Charge Battles. First up is a Charge Battle
in Fallaway Battlefield.

== Fallaway Battlefield ==
Boss: Hydreigon

After clearing the Charge Battle, you'll come across Cobalion's Stronghold, a
Team Battle. It has the same recommended Power level as the last Battle Royale.

== Cobalion's Stronghold ==
Difficulty: Power about 1,400
Prize Money: 7,000(P)
Minibosses: Donphan, Steelix, Seismitoad
Boss: Haxorus

After Cobalion's Stronghold, keep proceeding onward and you'll witness a
cutscene. After that, you'll have to clear a Team Battle at the World Axle
Grounds. This is another special event, and you only get to clear this once.
Pick up the vial of glowdrops if you're low on health. You're not allowed to
exit this stage conventionally, so pick your team members, preferably with good
Fighting, Ground, or Fire moves, and go for it.

== World Axle Grounds ==
Boss: Cobalion

After defeating Cobalion, you'll watch another revealing cutscene and finish
the chapter.

*********************************
5.E) Chapter 5 - The World Axle *
*********************************
You find yourself on a straight, narrow path. Walk forward to watch a cutscene
and enter Axle Town. If you explore around Axle Town briefly, you'll find a
Move School between the Launch Pads and Two Player. The Move School allows you
to use your Pokemon to teach a move to your current Pokemon. The Pokemon that
taught the move will disappear once you teach the move. Once you're done
exploring, take the elevator down to World Axle - Underground Entry.

==============================
World Axle - Underground Entry
==============================
Once you arrive, you'll find Cobalion waiting for you. Another cutscene ensues,
and Cobalion will battle with you for a little while. Proceed to the Dark
Legion Base by jumping on the Launch Pad ahead. Note that you can't befriend
any members of the Dark Legion. All of the Dark Legion Pokemon here are Dark-
types.

== Dark Legion Base ==

Fight through the hordes of Dark Legion Pokemon and step on the red platform to
drop down to the next floor. Every time you do this, Cobalion will talk you
through some story. If you go through this area again, Cobalion won't be there
to fight alongside you. After a few floors, you'll land in World Axle - B1F.

================
World Axle - B1F
================
Cobalion will leave you to do his own thing and allow you to explore on your
own. The elevator to town becomes available automatically. Sky Forme Shaymin
can be found in the Forest here if you've had 120 customers visit your Toy
Shop. You will also begin to encounter Pokemon with + traits. These + traits
are more effective than normal Special Traits and are found on Pokemon outlined
with a pink gear, like Rusty Pokemon. All the areas are found in a circle
around the elevator, with the battle arenas to the east. You'll have to charge
through the Rusty Battlefield in order to proceed.

Boss: Darkrai

Once you clear Rusty Battlefield, the gate will open to give you access to
Rusty Fort. There is no recommended Power for the Fort, so use the strongest
Pokemon with powerful moves that you have. If you're having trouble, I
recommend clearing all the areas first and running through a few of them again
if you still have trouble. Dark-type moves should help you get through the
bosses.

== Rusty Fort ==
Difficulty: ???
Prize Money: 8,000(P)
Minibosses: Starmie, Dusknoir, Cresselia
Bosses: Giratina

After Rusty Fort is cleared, the gate will open to the elevator that takes you
to the next floor.

The elevator to town is available upon entry into World Axle - B2F. If you've
had 100 customers visit your Toy Shop, Land Forme Shaymin will appear in the
Glacier area. Victinis will also appear in the Tower after 150 customers visit.

In this field, there is a Ruined Battlefield to the northeast, and a Battle
Royale to the southwest. The prize for clearing the Battle Royale is the Charge
Flag ++, which will be your key to success in the upcoming Charge Battle.

Difficulty: ???
Prize MOney: 9,000(P)
Prize: Charge Flag ++
Bosses: Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus

Winning the Charge Flag ++ will allow you to bring about 24 allies along in
with you for Charge Battles. With this in hand, you'll be able to charge right
through the Ruined Battlefield.

== Ruined Battlefield ==
Boss: Reshiram

Clearing the Ruined Battlefield opens up the gate to another elevator. This one
will take you down to World Axle - Shaft.

==================
World Axle - Shaft
==================
Cobalion joins you for the last time here. Hop on the Launch Pad to Dark Legion
Base. Once again, all the Dark Legion Pokemon here are Dark-types.

== Dark Legion Base ==

After fighting through the Dark Legion Base, you'll drop down to World Axle -
Deepest Level.

==========================
World Axle - Deepest Level
==========================
The elevator to town becomes available immediately upon your arrival. The only
thing in this field is Dark Rust's Fort. Don't forget to heal up in town before
challenging it. Entering the Fort will bring you a cutscene.

== Dark Rust's Fort ==
Difficulty: ???
Prize Money: 10,000(P) [after first clear]
Minibosses: Dragonite, Groudon, Palkia, Zekrom
Boss: Dark Rust

After your team defeats Zekrom, follow the long narrow path to Dark Rust's
stage. There will be a scene right before it appears. When you bring it down to
half health, it will put up a barrier that heals it and prevents it from being
damaged. This barrier will stay up until it heals completely. Repeat this
process twice and you'll witness a cutscene. After the scene, the barrier will
be broken, giving you the chance to defeat Dark Rust. You'll watch another
scene upon Dark Rust's defeat.

The credits will roll after the scene. Pressing left or down on the [D-Pad]
will speed up the credits, while pressing up or right on the [D-pad] will
rewind it. The game will save after the "The End" screen after the credits.

**************************
5.E) Post Ending Content *
**************************
Congratulations on finishing the story! Don't put down this game yet though,
you've just unlocked a bunch of other content. If you continue the game, you'll
find yourself in Axle Town. The town Pokemon will tell you about a new elevator
in the World Axle. This elevator is located on the east side of Axle Town and
takes you up to the World Axle - Upper Levels.

== Glowdrop Vial ==
Before you begin exploring again, make sure to visit Toy Town again. Go towards
the fountain, and you'll receive the Glowdrop Vial. This item automatically
heals up your entire team after clearing an area or winning a battle, saving
you some trips back to town. You'll still have to visit the fountains to
restore Rusty Pokemon.

=========================
World Axle - Upper Levels
=========================
Upon arrival, you'll find a machine that can raise the World Rank. You'll
automatically be at World Rank 1 after finishing the story. This means that
even Pokemon in 1-1 Trailhead Field will have a Power comparable to those of
your current Pokemon. By raising the World Rank, you'll be able to find
increasingly powerful Pokemon in all of the areas. Pokemon found roaming the
Field and in Battle Royales will retain their low Power. Be aware that raising
the World Rank is costly, and you'll want to save up money for this.

If you ever want to reset the Power of Pokemon to what it was before you
finished the story, you can activate Legacy Mode by pressing {L}, {R}, and left
on the [D-Pad] when you continue the game from the title screen. To exit Legacy
Mode, go back to the title screen (press [START] and select "Save and Quit")
and continue normally. Legacy Mode is useful for farming moves for the Move
School and for completing your collection. Legendary Pokemon still appear as
random bosses in Legacy Mode, although they will have Legacy Mode's low Powers.

The World Axle - Upper Levels house elevators leading to the toughest Battle
Royales and Team Battles in the game. You'll start off with Battle Royale EX-1
and Team Battle EX-1. As you clear them, the elevators for successive battles
will become available. If you can't clear a battle, you may need to increase
the World Rank to recruit more powerful Pokemon. No recommended Power level is
provided for any of these battles.

== Battle Royale EX-1 ==

Upon clearing Team Battle EX-6, Arceus is unlocked as a random boss.

======================
Other Unlocked Content
======================
Other than the World Axle - Upper Levels, there some other new stuff you'll
encounter in your travels.

== More Pokemon ==
All of the areas will now feature extra Pokemon unlocked only after finishing
the story. Most of the legendaries are also unlocked and can be encountered as
random bosses. The pile of rocks in 3-3 Firebreathing Mountain reveals itself
to be the Rotom Hideout, and the one in 4-2 Everspring Valley is the Unown
Hideout. These hideouts are single-stage areas similar to random Pokemon Rumpus
Rooms. They close after you clear them and randomly reopen when you enter the
field, so you can run in and out a nearby area until the hideout reopens. A
complete list of befriend-able Pokemon sorted by location is provided in
section 6. Legendaries are listed in section 7.

== Finding what you've lost ==
There are a couple of town Pokemon that will talk about finding something
you've lost. They're referring to the Cobalion that sacrificed itself to help
you defeat Dark Rust. To find him, you need to defeat Terrakion and Virizion
first, who are random bosses that appear in Canyons and Forests, respectively.
Once you defeat both Terrakion and Virizion, you will receive a Rusty Cobalion.

== More Special Traits ==
As you battle through the areas, you'll encounter Pokemon with more powerful
Special Traits and ++ traits. In particular, Heroic Pokemon have more Power
than they would normally have, and some Pokemon will have a combination of up
to 6 Special Traits. The higher the World Rank, the more common these extra-
special traits are. These Pokemon appear with a pink gear when tipped over. In
the Switch Menu, Pokemon with a single Special Trait have pink backgrounds and
names. Pokemon with multiple traits have blue backgrounds and names, and are
thus known to have "blue" traits. A list of Special Traits is provided in
section 8.

Epic Pokemon are also unlocked upon story completion. They are very rare, and
you can only have one Epic at a time. If you want a different Epic, you will
have to release your current one. Epics increase the likelihood of toys tipping
over. It seems that all Epics have the Adept, Greedy, Healthy, Lucky, and
Snappy traits, with a chance to also have traits like Lingering, Mighty,
Punchy, Speedy, Steady, and Techie, to name a few. Epics are outlined by a blue
gear when tipped over and are highlighted in pink in the Switch Menu.

== Battle Locales ==
In Easterly Town, there is a Rattata in the northeast edge of town who presents
you with a new challenge - the Battle Locale. In this challenge, your task is
to defeat the boss with only the Pokemon you've befriended on your way there.
The target location is randomly generated each time you talk to the Rattata.
When you accept the challenge, you will be automatically taken to the area and
given a relatively low-Power Rattata to start with. Pick up the Rattata and
switch to it to begin. Once you win, you will be rewarded with 10,000(P) Prize
Money. If you keep winning the Battle Locale and maintain a streak of wins, the
Prize Money will increase in increments of 5,000(P), up to a maximum of
40,000(P) for the 7th win. If you manage to maintain a streak of more than 7
wins, the Prize Money will still be 40,000(P). The streak resets if you quit
your game.

*******************************************************************************
6) Location Guide
*******************************************************************************
This is a list of all befriend-able Pokemon in each area. The areas are sorted
based on the order that they are introduced. Pokemon are sorted by their
National Pokedex number, which reflects the in-game listing. "Field" means that
the Pokemon can be found in the field outside of towns and areas. "Toy Shop"
means that the Pokemon will arrive once a certain number of customers have
visited your Toy Shop. Please note that this list does not include areas devoid
of befriend-able Pokemon.

7) Legendary Listing
*******************************************************************************
This section will list where "random boss" legendary Pokemon are located,
sorted by area. These legendaries have a small chance to appear in their
respective areas as the boss, in place of the normal boss. When this occurs,
the boss springboard will be shiny. Every legendary you encounter will sparkle
and you are guaranteed to befriend them as long as you defeat them. Only
Tornadus and Thundurus may be befriended before finishing the game.

8) Special Traits
*******************************************************************************
Special Traits are unlocked in Chapter 3. As you proceed through the story, you
will gradually unlock more traits. Certain Special Traits only occur on certain
Pokemon. These are listed under Pokemon-specific traits. Once you finish the
story, you will unlock several more traits, some of which are combinations of
normal traits.

When Pokemon with traits tip over, they will be outlined by either a blue or
pink gear rather than the normal white circle. A pink gear indicates that the
trait is either a Rusty, blue, +, or ++ trait. All other traits, including
Heroic and Epic, are found on Pokemon outlined by the blue gear.

Within the Switch Menu, Pokemon with traits have pink names and icon
backgrounds. Pokemon with a combination of traits have blue names and icons, so
the traits are known and listed here as "blue" traits.

==============
Special Traits
==============
In the list below, "/+" means that the + and ++ traits exist for that Special
Trait. + and ++ traits double and triple the effect of the original trait,
respectively. For example, Brawny Pokemon will have about 50% more HP than
their peers, while Brawny+ Pokemon will have 100% more HP and Brawny++ Pokemon
will have 150% more HP. Lucky Pokemon cause their foes to drop twice as much
(P). Lucky+ Pokemon get three times and Lucky++ Pokemon get four times as much
(P). The Picky+ trait combines Punchy+, Techie+, and Snappy+ while Picky++
combines Punchy++, Techie++, and Snappy++. The Adept, Epic, Heroic, Mighty,
PokeTC, Reflector, Rusty, Steady, and Superstar traits do not have
corresponding + and ++ traits. Additional notes on certain traits are found
below the list.

Adept [post-ending] - Avoids certain negative effects and self-inflicted
      damage.
Boomer/+ [post-ending] - Damage goes up when using explosive moves.
Brawny/+ - High HP.
Chop-Chop/+ - Able to use the (A) and (B) moves one after another quickly.
Daring/+ [post-ending] - Defense goes down and Attack goes up.
Effective/+ [post-ending] - Avoids supereffective moves. They do more damage
      when used.
Epic [post-ending] - Combines powers of many Special Traits. Only one exists!
Feisty/+ - Sweeps foes to a farther distance.
Grappler/+ [post-ending] - Damage goes up when striking foes at close range.
Greedy/+ - Draws (P) from far away.
Gutsy/+ - Makes foes wobbly more easily.
Hardy/+ - High Defense.
Healthy/+ - Restores HP naturally.
Heroic [post-ending] - High Power.
Lingering/+ - Any Status Change lingers.
Lobber/+ - Damage goes up when striking foes from a distance.
Lucky/+ - Foe drops more (P).
Macho/+ - Gets stronger when with allies.
Mighty - Won't get swept away by its foe.
Perky/+ - Recovers quickly from a Status Change.
Picky/+ - Has only one move. Combines Punchy, Techie, and Snappy.
PokeTC [code Pkmn only] - Makes the user and allies stronger when playing
      together.
Punchy/+ - High Attack.
Rally/+ - Makes friends stronger when playing together.
Reflector - Reflects bad Status Changes to the foe.
Resilient/+ - May be left with 1 HP after a hit that would have knocked it out.
Rusty - It's a Rusty Pokemon. When you soak it in a fountain...
Slugger/+ - Slow to use a move, but the move has more reach.
Snappy/+ - Uses its moves quickly.
Speedy/+ - Moves quickly.
Steady - Not affected by any Status Changes.
Superstar - Cool and popular.
Techie/+ - Moves with fewer *s get stronger.
(Type) Boost/+ - ()-type moves: damage dealt goes up, taken goes down.
Turbo/+ - Keeps using moves for a while when the button is held down.
Unruly/+ [post-ending] - Damage goes up when charging into foes.
Unstoppabe/+ - Slow to use a move but not stoppable by foe's attacks.

- Boomer improves the damage of explosive moves. These are Barrage, Egg Bomb,
  Explosion, Flame Burst, Magnet Bomb, Mud Bomb, Seed Bomb, Selfdestruct, and
  Sludge Bomb.

- The Epic trait is the rarest trait, and it is believed that you can only have
  one Epic Pokemon at a time. If you want a different Epic, you will have to
  release your current one. Epics increase the likelihood of toys tipping over.
  It seems that all Epics have the Adept, Greedy, Healthy, Lucky, and Snappy
  traits, with a chance to also have traits like Lingering, Mighty, Punchy,
  Speedy, Steady, and Techie, to name a few.

- The PokeTC trait is only found on certain Pokemon obtained through entering a
  password. Passwords are collected by the Munna that resides on the west side
  of Easterly Town.

- Rusty Pokemon are restored by visiting the Glowing Fountain in town. Upon
  restoration, it will get new moves and a new Special Trait. The new trait
  will most likely be a + trait or one of the normal traits without a
  corresponding + trait. If you aren't happy with the restored Pokemon, you can
  reset the game without saving (use the HOME or POWER button) to try to get a
  new move and trait combination. See section 4 for more details.

- Superstar Pokemon appear with a spotlight, causing all foes to target it.
  This trait makes the Pokemon useful as a distraction when playing with
  others.

=======================
Pokemon-specific Traits
=======================
Certain Pokemon in this game tend to have traits that reflect their abilities
in the original Pokemon games. These traits are not guaranteed to occur in
these Pokemon, but they do tend to occur more frequently than the other Special
Traits.

Barricade [Mr. Mime, Mime Jr.] - Avoids supereffective moves.
Dodgy [Shedinja] - Sometimes avoids damage.
Jinxed [Yamask, Cofagrigus] - When attacked, the attacker's Speed goes down.
Poisonous [Seismitoad] - May poison the attacker.
Skittish [Archen, Archeops] - Inflicts less damage when its HP isn't full.
Slacker [Slakoth, Slaking] - Attacks slowly.
Slow-Starting [Regigigas] - Gets serious after defeating several Pokemon.
Spiky [Sharpedo, Ferroseed, Ferrothorn, Druddigon] - Damages the attacker when
      it receives damate.
Steely [Pawniard, Bisharp] - Inflicts more damage when it has a status problem.
Tangling [Frillish, Jellicent] - The attacker may not be able to use moves.

9)  Move Machines
*******************************************************************************
Move-a-majigs and Move Vendors are found throughout Toyland and teach moves to
your current Pokemon in exchange for (P). If the Pokemon already knows two
moves, it will have to forget one before learning a new move. Move-a-majigs
teach a random move, while Move Vendors teach a specific move, assuming the
Pokemon can learn it. Each Move Vendor distributes a different move. This
section lists Move Vendor locations and moves, sorted by location. The pricing
on most of these machines varies depending on the Power of your current
Pokemon. The few machines with fixed prices are listed with price info.

The *s that follow the move names indicate the strength of the move. If there
are no *s following the move, then the move inflicts a status effect. The move
type is written in []. Additional effects of moves are also indicated with a
">" where applicable.

Move Swappers are found in Westerly Town, Northerly Town, and Axle Town. They
will swap the moves registered to (A) and (B) in exchange for 15,000(P).

The Move School is found in Axle Town and allows you to have your other Pokemon
teach your current Pokemon a move that it can learn. Not all of the moves that
a Pokemon can learn can be taught through the Move School. Each move requires
1 to 6 Pokemon to pass it on. Select which move to teach, then the Pokemon to
teach it. After the current Pokemon learns the move, the selected Pokemon will
disappear.

10) FAQ
*******************************************************************************
Here's some other information you may find useful that is not included in the
main part of this guide.

Q: What are the differences between this game and Pokemon Rumble for WiiWare?
A: There's a lot of changes. Here's how Pokemon Rumble Blast is different:
   - Pokemon from all 5 generations are available to be caught other than
     Keldeo, Meloetta, and Genesect. There are a total of 646 different Pokemon
     species with 717 different forms to be collected in this game.
   - There are 14 different areas to explore (Meadow, Forest, Beach, Cave,
     Tower, Treetops, Lake, Hauntyard, Desert, Canyon, Autumnwood, Lava,
     Factory, and Glacier) instead of the just the 6 available in the WiiWare
     version.
   - Instead of the 4 Grades in the WiiWare version, there are several fields
     in this game with different assortments of areas and battle arenas for you
     to explore.
   - There are two new ways to battle: Team Battle and Charge Battle. In Team
     Battle, two Pokemon accompany you in battling through several stages. In
     Charge Battle, a group of your most powerful Pokemon are pitted against
     legions of your foes.
   - Rumpus Rooms and random boss legendaries add a little randomness to
     clearing areas.
   - The Battle Locale unlocked after finishing the story provides an added
     challenge compared to the normal way of clearing areas.
   - Several new abilities and combinations of abilities are available.
   - Instead of EX Mode in the WiiWare version, this game has a machine that
     increases the World Rank of Toyland, thereby increasing the Power of the
     Pokemon in all areas.
   - New move machines are available to teach specific moves, swap (A) and (B)
     moves, and teach moves using your other Pokemon.
   - The only co-op play available is Two-Player Mode, and it is restricted to
     areas cleared by both players. Two-Player Mode requires the other player
     to own a copy of Pokemon Rumble Blast.
   - There are no shiny Pokemon in this game.
   - While sparkling Pokemon are guaranteed to tip over, they are not
     guaranteed to have an ability.
   - The Release Point will only introduce an evolution of a Pokemon if 7 of
     them are released. Other combinations available in the WiiWare version
     won't work.

Q: What are all the types for Arceus?
A: There are 17 types: Normal, Fighting, Flying, Poison, Ground, Rock, Bug,
   Ghost, Steel, Fire, Water, Grass, Electric, Psychic, Ice, Dragon, and Dark.
