Oh the edits. The typos! -Fixed missing information. I'm sure now I wrote it all down. Version 1.00: -FAQ created on April 25 2014 -Walkthrough completed on May 2 2014! ______________________________________________________________________________ TABLE OF CONTENTS 1)----------Controls 2)----------CAREER MODE 2.0)---------Greenhorn's Grove 3.0)---------Artic Open 4.0)---------Urban Sprawl 5.0)---------Cactus Challenge 6.0)---------Rainforest Rumble 7.0)---------Skill Showcase 8.0)---------Expert's Club 9.0)---------Master's Gauntlet 10)---------BIKES 11)---------FAQs ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1) CONTROLS ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I know I'm on PC, but this game has to be played with the Xbox360 controller. It's just not sensible with the keyboard. Maybe they should award you for completing the game with no controller lol. LEAN BACK: Left Stick Left LEAN FORWARD: Left Stick Right BAILOUT: XBOX Y LAST CHECKPOINT: XBOX B GAS: XBOX A or Right Trigger BRAKE: XBOX X or Left Trigger START/PAUSE: XBOX Start RESTART TRACK: XBOX Back FMX POSE: XBOX Right Joystick ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2) Career Mode ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Before Starting, keep in mind these gameplay tips: -Learn how to lean. Oh it's simple, first training program. Just practice, and learn how the bike responds to your left joystick movement. You are going to have to make your muscle memory remember all of this if you want any hope of completing this game. -Gas control. Your throttle/accelerator, it's analog, meaning this game recognizes how far you press that trigger. press it slightly, and the bike moves slow, press it all the way, and the bike roars. You will be using precise throttle control through many of the tracks, so get your finger muscle memory remembering this too. -The d-pad, believe it or not, can be helpful at times. Remember what I said above, about the triggers being analog? Well, if you got quick reflexes, the d-pad can help you as it's digital, meaning one press, the biker leans quicker. Of course, it's not precise, so if you are going slow, it's a nightmare, but for doing backflips or quick leaning, it's actually useful. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------- 2.0) GREEHORN's GROVE ----------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ______________________________________________________________________________ 2.1) Track 1: Training Program 1 ______________________________________________________________________________ This very short track will teach you about checkpoints and leaning. After that, you unlock a Baggie bike! It's actually the bike you've been using :P ______________________________________________________________________________ 2.2) Track 2: Turbine Terror ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Slick Flipping_________200 (Complete at least 10 flips whilst performing a zero fault run) -Nice and Calm__________400 (Stop all of the turbines by finding the hidden switch) -Unyielding 1___________600 (Perform a zero fault run without leaning Man, our first non-training track and we got a heck of a list of challenges! A zero fault run is basically completing the track while not crashing. This is known by the giant number beside the timer at the top left of the screen, so to get Slick Flipping, you can make 1 jump at the very beginning, another backflip at the very next jump, once outside you can do at least 2 backflips when you jump off the cliff over a turbine, and after this is one major jump, I advise at least 3 flips, 1 off the next jump, and then at least 2 on the near vertical rock jump after this. So Nice and Calm, it's that jump over a water fountain, jump #2 if you are keeping score. What you have to do is in mid-jump, lean forward and bail- out, hopefully launching yourself all the way to a claw above the sign over the stairs. Keep holding the bailout button until you are over the Big Red Button, then let go. To get Unyielding, that's basically a zero fault run without using the joystick. To do this, you need serious gas/brake control, simply brake or let go of the gas during jumps, using velocity to make your character do the leaning for you. ______________________________________________________________________________ 2.3) Track 3: Waterworks ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Full Throttle__________200 (Perform a zero fault run without letting go of the gas or using the brakes) -Greenhouse Effect______400 (Stomp all the flowers) -Endo Guru______________600 (Hold an Endo for 30 meters) Challenge #1 is very self explanatory. Just don't let go of that Gas button! Greenhouse Effect, this one is funny. You might notice some flowers along the way, well, if you ever landed on one, they give off a pomf effect of a dust cloud. There's one right behind you at the starting light, one below the first rock cliff (lean forward to off the cliff), one beside the road after you leave the dam area, and one below a rock right at the end. The one at the end is a bit tricky, as the rock will fall if landed on, brake in front of it, and do a lean back-lean forward-gas button pattern, with a little practice you can do it. And like the 3rd challenge says, hold an Endo for 30 meters. That's a front wheelie for 30 meters. Not like you can measure that here, so just pretend you're aiming for 100, that'll pass in no time ;) ______________________________________________________________________________ 2.4) Track 4: Observatory ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Proficient Flipping____200 (Complete at least 10 flips whilst performing a zero fault run) -Wormholin'_____________400 (Use the afterburners to reach the portal in the sky) -1-Up___________________600 (Don't allow your front wheel to touch the area between the red lines) For challenge #1, complete 10 flips and do a zero fault run. Challenge #2 is funny, right at the beginning, just below you, you might notice a plume of flame shooting out. To get down there, lean forward and forward flip down and brake to avoid falling off, then reverse into the afterburner and you will fly into the sky E.T. style. You need to go through the fire rings to sustain the afterburner, and your leaning will control your up/down direction. The portal in the sky is up top an aircraft, so don't lean forward too much. For challenge #3, after you leave the rocky cliffs, you will notice an up ramp that has red lights along its side. This is the area between the red lines. Just don't let your front wheel touch the ground. ______________________________________________________________________________ 2.5) Track 5: Dirt Derby ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Showman Rabbit's Run___200 (Complete at least 15 flips with the Rabbit) -Rider-Cam______________400 (Hit the gyroscope and complete the track in rider-cam mode) -One-Wheel Wonder_______600 (Don't allow your front wheel to touch the area between the red lines) Challenge #1 requires the Rabbit bike, so do this after you get it. For challenge #2, reverse at the starting light to back down into the gyroscope, and just complete the track in this new camera mode. Challenge #3 is after a golden arch with a set of tires under a ramp. Look for a read line on the ground beside a checkpoint marker, from here to over a hump ahead is the area between the red lines. You need skill for this >_< ______________________________________________________________________________ 2.6) Track 6: Cliffhanger ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Is it a plane...?______200 (Hold and land a perfect Superman pose over the river) -Secret Agent___________400 (Enter and navigate the top-secret facility) -Unyielding 2___________600 (Perform a zero fault run without leaning) Challenge #1 is doing an FMX pose over the river, not the first body of water you run over. It's the large gap between the rocky cliffs. (note: you need to pass the FMX training program first) Challenge #2 is a clever one. At the last man made platform, you'll see a checkpoint marker, a wire across the floor and a ramp in front of it, you need to back into the wire, and when it's cut, reverse all the way until you see a cliff and like a giant space capsule below, make sure you fall into it in the middle, falling outside the center is a crash fault. I typically found that if you remember which way is north, that will make the maze easier. Challenge #3, you know the drill. It's purely a skill thing. ______________________________________________________________________________ 2.7) Track 7: Balancing Act ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Ride as far as possible without leaning (200m for Gold) This is just a skill track. And do exactly what it says, that's all. Just use your skills when you tried to do the Unyielding challenges, and there is a counter to show how far you are going. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------- 3.0) ARTIC OPEN -------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ______________________________________________________________________________ 3.1)-----------Track 1: Training Program 2 ______________________________________________________________________________ There are 6 things to learn here, unless you knew them already. Steep climbs, backflips, vertical climbs, remember these well because we ain't rookie's no more. You unlock the Roach bike after completing this. ______________________________________________________________________________ 3.2)-----------Track 2: Ski or Ride ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Exhibitionist__________400 (Hold Superman and Proud poses, and complete at least 5 flips on a zero fault run) -Wet Paint______________800 (Don't allow your front wheel to touch the red handrail at the end of the track) -Do.Not.Touch___________1200 (Do not touch any of the red-arrow platforms on a zero fault run) Challenge #1 requires you to do as it says, 2 FMX poses and 5 flips while doing a zero fault run. (note: you need to pass the FMX training program first) Challenge #2 is a doozy, near the end of the track, a very obviously red handrail like in tony hawk games, you need to go over this without letting your front wheel touch the rail. Again, skill is required. For challenge #3, along the way you might have noticed a row of red arrows along the ground on some platforms. Simply do not touch these while doing a zero fault run. ______________________________________________________________________________ 3.3)-----------Track 3: Shear Pressure ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Dizzy Heights__________400 (Perform at least 4 flips from a single jump) -Rabbit's Artic Run_____800 (Perform a zero fault run with the Rabbit) -Pipe Phobia____________1200 (Complete a zero fault run without touching any pipes with your front wheel) Okay, there's nothing complicated about these. But you need to know a few things. Challenge #1 does need a better bike, if you only have the first 2, good luck. Challenge #2 you definitely need to come back when you have the Rabbit bike, and challenge #3, don't let your front wheel touch any of the pipes, those are the ones with a yellow pattern on them. ______________________________________________________________________________ 3.4)-----------Track 4: Shivering Isles ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Making Waves___________400 (Cannonball into the water from the highest peak) -Fragile. Be Careful____800 (Do not break the golden pillar) -Path to Enlightenment__1200 (Find the secret pathway) Whoo whee, this one is a nightmare. The highest peak is a near vertical rock that you can tell is the highest peak as the camera angle won't go that high, it's the only one like that so, if you can get lucky (because I think this part is glitched), you need to bailout at the top of your jump off this peak while pressing left trigger and hopefully make it into the water below. It might take a lot of tries, but that is the place. I landed beside that little rock, so maybe that's the marker. For challenge #2, the golden pillar is near the end, do you remember the "Stomp all the flowers" challenge in Waterworks? How you had to get over the rock without letting it fall? Yeah, it's like that here too. You need to make sure your bike never touches the, lightbulb end, if it falls off, you might not get to restart from the checkpoint because the darn thing didn't respawn when I restarted a checkpoint, retrying the entire track was the only way to make it regen. Challenge #3 is funny, at the very beginning, when that pillar falls, you might hear a chiming, or glittering sound. Do not go over this pillar, instead allow your self to fall backwards (going reverse is too slow), so that you have enough rearwards momentum to fall into a little tornado that will throw you upwards. This secret path, if you fall, it's back to the beginning, so keep your wits about you. ______________________________________________________________________________ 3.5)-----------Track 5: Peak Performance ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Purgatory Tower________400 (Hold and land a Going to Hell pose from off the tower) -First-Rate Flipping____800 (Complete at least 10 flips whilst earning a gold medal) -Demolitions Side Job___1200 (Trigger the switches to collapse the tower) Challenge #1 is an FMX pose when you jump off the tower. It's the highest place on this track, and you'll know what it looks like when you get on it. (note: you need to pass the FMX training program first) Challenge #2 is what it is, 10 flips in a zero fault gold medal run. Challenge #3 is crafty, when you are on the top of the tower, try to drop straight down to the lower level of the tower, and you'll see what looks like a control panel, back into it, then continue on until you reach a part that you have to jump over rails that have a "no biking" sign on them, the 2nd control panel is behind this wall. Back into it :) ______________________________________________________________________________ 3.6)-----------Track 6: Deep Freeze ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Human Flag__________________400 (Take a rest on the tip of the flag pole) -Unnatural Disaster__________800 (Use explosives to create a tremor) -They Belong to the Mafia____1200 (Do not touch any of the yellow obstacles) For Challenge #1, when you reach the top of a building with the red sign that says "Redlynx", jump off this building and you will see a flagpole at the end of the jump, normally you land on this flag pole, but instead, bailout in the direction of the tip of the flag pole and press the bailout button to grab hold. Challenge #2, wow, at the beginning, reverse into a red box, this will attach to your back, and the timer will start. Yes, it's ticking, and it will blow up if you don't reach the destination in time. If you are Driving Un-Angry, you'll see a part with a blue Parking sign and a pillar sticking out for you to jump off of, instead, jump off this pillar to fall into the little ditch, and the bomb will blow. Challenge #3 is a wooser, if you were racing earlier, you might have noticed these yellow platforms on the ground, basically those blockades you see at construction zones. Don't land on any of these. You will come across a part where you will see 2, on a down ramp and up ramp, you are instead supposed to back up a little, and jump over the yellow down ramp to go to the platform above, and bypass the yellow parts. You definitely need a better bike, as I was unable to do this with the 2 unlocked from the beginning. ______________________________________________________________________________ 3.7)-----------Track 7: Fusion Factory ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Dizzier Heights_____________400 (Perform and safely land at least 7 flips from the opening launch) -Coasterphobia_______________800 (Perform a zero fault run without riding the loop) -Welcome to Warp Zone 1!_____1200 (Find and complete the warp zone!) Whoo, challenge #1 is easy. At the start of the track, when the game launches you skyhigh, just do as much backflips as you can, don't try to count. I tried to count and didn't complete the challenge. Challenge #2 is a bit of a challenge, unless you are good with zero fault runs. What you do is simply do a zero fault run, but instead of taking the blue loop track, drop down to the orange track below. Challenge #3 is actually right where the blue loop was, instead of taking the orange track below, you'll notice a platform above it. That's the warp to the warp zone, and this zone, my gosh, I hope your skills are good because there are plenty of short platforms and many jumps. Just remember your skills used so far because you're going to need them (and maybe a better bike too.) ______________________________________________________________________________ 3.8)-----------Track 8: Big Air ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Skill Game: fly like an angel, plummet like a lemming! (115m for Gold) You remember the previous skill game? It sounds simple, but it's hella crazier than sounding simple. See, you gotta launch mister biker way far over the downward slope, and have him land 115m or more away from bailout. The best solution I found was to inch slowly over the downward slope at the start, no gas until you are able to lean back the biker without tipping the bike in either direction, once the bike is level hit the gas so that momentum will carry the bike forward while the biker is leaning back, and just before you exit this black slope with neon lighting, jerk the biker forward and bailout, while holding the joystick right, keep holding right to have him fly east until he crashes. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------- 4.0) URBAN SPRAWL ------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ______________________________________________________________________________ 4.1)-----------Track 1: TRAINING PROGRAM 3 ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: Oh, so now they tell us about the bunny hop :P Steep climbs and bunny hopping is on the menu today. ______________________________________________________________________________ 4.2)-----------Track 2: Skyscraper Showdown ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Marvelous Flipping__________600 (Complete at least 15 flips on a zero fault run) -Full Throttle 2_____________1200 (Perform a zero fault run without letting go of gas or using the breaks) -Goal-Line Technology________1800 (Get the Fusion ball over the finish line) Uh oh, zero fault plus 15 flips. There are several big jumps, try to do your flipping during those, and don't risk it during the short jumps. Challenge #2, you've seen this before. Pure skill needed. Challenge #3 is a funny one. Right at the starting light, you'll see a yellow light behind you, reverse onto it and a UAV will bring a yellow ball in front of you. Yes, you have to ride this ball all the way to the end, if you accidentally stomp on it, you can use your bunny hop skills to reverse away from it to proceed. Other than that, good luck, as this takes skill. ______________________________________________________________________________ 4.3)-----------Track 3: Park and Ride ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Exceptional Flipping________600 (Complete at least 10 flips without faulting) -Bring Out the Blimp!________1200 (Grab the blimp!) -Game, Set, Match____________1800 (Win a game of tennis...) Challenge #1 is self explanatory at this point. Challenge #2 though, that one is actually a one time, time limited event that if you fail, you need to restart the track, as a check point won't reset the blimp. What this challenge is is that when you start the track, you will notice a big blimp in the background that is moving, as you can see you need to catch up to it, and the jump of point is right near a billboard that says "Best Burgers". I found that you can have at least one fault before your time runs out, but if you do manage to line up with the blimp, jump off the solar panel ramp, and bail out, pushing your left joystick in the direction of the sign under the blimp, and press the bailout button to grab hold. Challenge #3 is a weird one. You need to stop inside the tennis court, you don't have to stop directly in the middle, I was halfway on the down ramp. You do need to keep the minimum braking speed though, as the bike will never stop completely. And then just play tennis. Left stick to move, gas button to hit the ball (away from the penguin). First to 9 wins :) ______________________________________________________________________________ 4.4)-----------Track 4: Blimp My Ride ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Fan Mail____________________600 (Hold and land a Proud Hero pose over the extractor fan pipe) -Prep the Artillery__________1200 (Switch on the 3 canons and shoot down the blimp!) -No Place to Hide____________1800 (collect at least 35 squirrel signs to reveal the squirrels!) Challenge #1 is ugly, I actually hated it. When you see a tower in the middle of the track with orange lighted rings around it, that's the extractor fan pipe. You have to do a Proud Hero pose over it. Maybe it's my controller, but I kept doing a Superman pose >__> Challenge #2 is much easier. At the starting light, simply reverse onto another platform, that has a green light on it, run over it then go on your way forward. The 2nd light is accessible on the platform that has a 4 on it. Wait on this #4 platform, and drop down the edge onto a seperate platform, and it will rise revealing button #2. Button #3 is in plain sight near the end of the track, you can either hit it mid flight or roll backwards off the ramp, in either case that's it. Challenge 3 is similar to Challenge 2. Trigger the first cannon switch behind you at the starting light, and go forward, slowly until you reach the ramp in front of the starting light. You will see 2 red lights on the ramp, inch close to them until they turn green, then reverse all the way back, past the 1st canon switch, and to a 2nd platform until a chime plays signaling the squirrel signs. Just collect every sign along the way and finish the track (though you don't have to get EVERY one, not counting helps ;). ______________________________________________________________________________ 4.5)-----------Track 5: Marina Mania ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Abandon Ship!_______________600 (Free the boat full of explosives in time to sink the passing ship) -Climb-actic_________________1200 (Hold a wheelie for the duration of climbing up the rope) -Welcome to Warp Zone 2!_____1800 (Find and complete the warp zone!) Challenge #1 is fun. When you enter the harbor, you will come to a part where you land on top of a little building or a shack. Just below, is a silver strip across the floor, drop down to break it and the speedboat will chug along. Now, you don't need to hit the boat, if the speedboat blows up near it, the blast radius is enough, but if the boat is not withing the blast radius, the speedboat will just blow. Note that this has to be done in a zero fault run into the harbor, as I fell once and the target boat never reset its position, so keep that in mind. Challenge #2 is right after challenge #1, where you will need to ride up a thick rope to get on top of a big boat. It's rather hard, and if you aren't skilled enough, you might throw your controller at the screen >__> Challenge #3, you remember that boat with the rope you had to wheelie? It has a crane on it holding the pipe. Ahead of that pipe is a pier with a litte body of land below it, just let the pipe tilt forward enough to let you ride onto the body of land, and hello warp zone. ______________________________________________________________________________ 4.6)-----------Track 6: FMX Training Program ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -FMX Training program Now we can do FMX stunts. But it's a bit hard. What we have to do to pass is to copy what it says on the tv screens in the background. That is, they want us to do a Superman pose, just press left on the right stick. Now while the bike is level, press left and rotate up on the right stick. Next trick, it was a lengthy try, but I found press back on the left stick and down on the right stick works all the time. Next trick, just press down on the right stick. Remember these tricks, as they are part of the track challenges. Keep in mind the level of your bike plays a huge role in how the trick goes. Oh, and you actually have to do some tricks after this. Be careful when dropping on the ramp below once the wind engine turns off, if you crash before passing the checkpoint, you have to do that whole trick training again >__> ______________________________________________________________________________ 4.7)-----------Track 7: Daredevil Showdown ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -FMX track - Get the high score (25k for gold) It's an FMX track, meaning you need to pull a lot of tricks to pass the track. And there's a time limit. I noticed each use of the retry (not restart track) button loses about 1 second, so as much as possible do a zero fault run too. ______________________________________________________________________________ 4.8)-----------Track 8: Krank ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Skill Game: Ride fast and perform tricks to keep your adrenaline level high! (200m for gold) Like it says, what I did was ride as fast as I could, and judge your jumping distance so that I never stop in place. I didn't hold FMX poses for long, and I found that fast long jumps kept adrenaline at high. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------- 5.0) Cactus Challenge ----------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Say hello to the 4 wheeler! ______________________________________________________________________________ 5.1)-----------Track 1: Road to Ruin ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Poser of the Lost Ark_______800 (Hold and land a Dead Body pose anywhere) -Playmaker___________________1600 (Offer at least 1 football to the god of footballs in the temple ruins) -Ancient Squirrels Crossing__2400 (Obey the speed limit at the temple ruins) Challenge #1 is what it says... Challenge #2 is trailer time. At the starting light, back up into what looks like a little shed, and a little boom ahead triggers this challenge. In your trailer will be a bunch of soccerballs, you need to keep at least one of them on your ride all the way to the end. Remember physics in this game is very active, there's a chance some balls will bounce back in if you lurch too far forward. Don't drive recklessly of course. Challenge #3 is tricky. Along the way you will notice a snail sign on top of a "10" sign. Stating from here, you must drive as slow as you can. Driving faster will trigger a ticking signal that will warn you, so drive slow! ______________________________________________________________________________ 5.2)-----------Track 2: Stormtrooper ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Is it a Bird...?____________800 (Hold and land a perfect Superman pose over the road jump) -Penguin Wash!_______________1600 (Dunk all of the penguins underwater) -Gone in 65 Seconds__________2400 (Complete a zero fault run, performing at least 5 flips in under 65 seconds) Challenge #1 that road with a truck in the background behind orange safety cones. You have to do a Superman FMX pose and land it perfectly o_O Challenge #2 is also at the road jump area, but to access it, you need to pass the first body of water you see, and go all the way until you see a metal ramp, brake and allow yourself to reverse all the way back into the body of water you just passed, and continue reversing until you get warped where the challenge #1 truck is. Then just hit the gas and do a good jump until you crash into the walls. Challenge #3, oh my, 5 flips in a zero fault run in a minute & five, folks. Hey, you managed a perfect superman over the road jump, might as well pull off some flips there ;) ______________________________________________________________________________ 5.3)-----------Track 3: Sunrise Dash ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Like a Boss_________________800 (Hold and land a perfect Proud Hero pose) -Majestic Flipping___________1600 (Complete at least 5 flips on a zero fault run) -Mirror Mode_________________2400 (Hit the gyroscope and complete the inverted version of the track) Well, they actually let up for once. You can definitely do a Proud Hero pose at the first big jump. Challenge #2 is also self-explanatory, you should have the hang of the quad by now, right? For challenge #3, just reverse back until you hit the gyro, and true to its word, it's a mirror version of this track, moon and all. Just complete it. ______________________________________________________________________________ 5.4)-----------Track 4: Base Invader ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Astonishing Flipping!_______800 (Complete at least 5 flips while earning a gold medal) -Goal of the Season__________1600 (Score a wonder goal!) -Club Silencio_______________2400 (Complete the puzzle and release the allegorical blue square!) Oh, there's plenty of jumps here to make sure you get those 5 flips for a Gold run. Challenge #2 is quick and easy, reverse at the starting light, and after you hit a switch, a soccerball will float in front of you, now lean forward and bailout when your leaning-forward biker is about to hit the ball to launch it into the green goal. An early bailout will launch the ball too high, and a late bailout will launch it too low. Challenge #3 also takes place at the beginning, when you see the word Lab on the floor, go up the ramp in front of it, and allow yourself to fall backwards all the way until you fall off the platform, do a back flip so that your front wheels will land on the platform, and your bike will fall backwards. Then, once the floor opens up, ride on down and forward until you trigger the game. It's an old looking game lol. You need to get the blue block all the way to the bottom. All you need to remember is to only allow the bottom red bar to move to the left once, with 2 green blocks on top of it, and 2 green below it. Then move accordingly. ______________________________________________________________________________ 5.5)-----------Track 5: Around the Oasis ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Gymnastics!_________________800 (Complete at least 2 flips after reaching the base) -Is it a Mirage?_____________1600 (Catch sunstroke from too much sun, and still perform a zero fault run) -Return of the Sphere________2400 (Find and complete the hidden maze) For challenge #1, the base is that structure all the way at the end. They only gave you 2 chances to do 2 flips, so do them well. Challenge 2 is fun for PC users. Drop your graphics to low, then when you reach a cliff with a sign of a penguin holding a hot dog on a fork, park there and stay still for a few seconds, once things go blur, go and zero fault the track. Challenge #3 requires patience. When you near the base, and you see large metal pipes horizontally placed along the track, approach that place slowly and keep an eye on a blue sign in the background, it will turn around after an explosion happens, then reverse all the way into the water behind you. You will warp to the sky as a metroid ball. You need to move this around the track with your left joystick, constant pushing of the joystick will increase the ball's speed, so go all slow with the joystick. ______________________________________________________________________________ 5.6)-----------Track 6: RedLynx Rampage ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -FMX track: 35k to Gold Oh, here goes another FMX track. Stunt time! ______________________________________________________________________________ 5.7)-----------Track 7: Trick Master ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Skill game: 6000 for Gold Okay, this one is too fast. On the tv in the background will be a trick displayed. When you go sky high you have to perform this trick as quickly as possible to get a higher score. It randomizes, sometimes giving you the same trick back to back, so I can't tell you what it'll do but I do say that you need to perform the trick quickly, 1000 points for a quick stunt, +/- 500 when halfway to the ground, and +/-100 if you pull the stunt before crashing :P <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------- 6.0) Rainforest Rumble ---------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ______________________________________________________________________________ 6.1)-----------Track 1: Bungalow Beach ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Cannonball!_________________1000 (Do a cannonball from the diving board) -Pyromaniac__________________2000 (Finish the track whilst on fire) -Unyielding 3________________3000 (Perform a zero fault run without leaning) Challenge #1 is easy. There's a small pool in the middle of the track, you go on top of the diving board during a run. Well, just stop on top of this diving board, and bailout, holding your left trigger while diving into the water. Challenge #2, right at the starting light behind you is a candle, don't reverse too far back or else you'll fall, so once you're on fire, you need to make it to the end without touching any body of water along the way. Now this requires pure skill because there's already a miserable body of water right in front of the start. Just remember what you trained in about bunny hopping, you will make it across the beginning water soon enough. You have to maintain a not-so-slow minimum speed, or else the biker will, die or something (he implodes >_>) Challenge 3 is more of them no leaning runs. We should be skilled enough by now, right? ______________________________________________________________________________ 6.2)-----------Track 2: Swamp Crash ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Waterproof Test_____________1000 (Introduce electricity to water and get yourself electrocuted) -Breathtaking Flipping!______2000 (Complete at least 10 flips on a zero fault run) -SwampBaggie_________________3000 (Perform a zero fault run with the Baggie) Challenge #1 is that engine around the middle of the track hanging with vines. Land on it and allow it to fall into the water, getting yourself wet in the process. Challenges 2 and 3 are what they say, nothing complicated. ______________________________________________________________________________ 6.3)-----------Track 3: Temple Trouble ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Utterly-Staggering Flipping!!____1000 (Complete at least 10 flips on a zero fault run) -Dark Horse_______________________2000 (Hold and land 5 Underdog poses on a zero fault run) -Shoddy Workmanship_______________3000 (Don't allow the front wheel to touch any scaffold plates on a zero fault run) Challenge 1 is self explanatory, #2 is... also self explanatory, but good luck lol. Challenge #3, those scaffolding's are the square platforms with orange lining. Don't let your front wheel touch them at any time and do a zero fault run. ______________________________________________________________________________ 6.4)-----------Track 4: Tropic Storm ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Full Throttle 3__________________1000 (Perform a zero fault run without letting go of gas or using the brakes) -Shocking!________________________2000 (Get struck by lightning) -Baggie-Wash______________________3000 (Perform a zero fault run with the Baggie) Ho ho, you know challenge #1 already. Challenge #2 is wacky. You need to bailout on that last jump over the platform where the finish lights are. Launch yourself to the top of this platform and hold the bailout button to grab a hold of the pole there. Wait for the lightning to hit. Challenge #3 is simply doing a zero fault run with the Baggie bike. ______________________________________________________________________________ 6.5)-----------Track 5: Titan Temple ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -FMX track: 40K to Gold Uh oh, better start landing all perfect flip poses >__> ______________________________________________________________________________ 6.6)-----------Track 6: Triathlon ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: Skill Game: 60K to Gold Perform your best long jump, high jump and bunny hops! I actually didn't think one can go over a small wall like that >_> You get the last license (You did get the FMX license before, right?) ______________________________________________________________________________ 7.2)-----------Track 2: Rocky Road ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -6 Rocks Under____________________1200 (Get yourself buried under rocks) -Rabbit's Extreme Run_____________2400 (Perform a zero fault run with the Rabbit) -Welcome to Warp Zone 3!__________3600 (Find and complete the warp zone!) Challenge 1 is funny. Way at the end when you see the conveyor belt spilling dust, you need to bailout at this last jump and launch yourself under this conveyor and all the way into the pit, and wait for the rocks to fall into it. Gotta use the Rabbit for a zero fault run for Challenge #2. Challenge #3 is a little difficult to describe locations, so I'll just describe the events. During your biking, a series of explosions will occur. First a boulder will explode, granting you a path to climb up, then when you ride further forward, a platform will explode and partially fall down, the boulder that is hanging from wires in front of this newly exploded platform is the boulder you need to wait on, soon it will rise and hello warp, and I sure hope your bunny hopping skills are good because this one needs all of them. ______________________________________________________________________________ 7.3)-----------Track 3: Eco Park ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Miraculous Flipping!_____________1200 (Complete at least 5 backflips) -Afterburner______________________2400 (Fly through all of the rings of fire) -Darksider________________________3600 (Stay up late and complete Eco Park's dark side) Challenge #1 is self explanatory, and plenty of places to do so. Challenge #2 is typical Afterburner, at the starting light, reverse until you hit the afterburner, and press that gas button and remember that leaning controls your up and down directions. Challenge #3 is a nightmare. Near the beginning of the track, you will notice a large digital timer in the background along the ground part of the track. Reverse instead of passing the timer, until you press a button on the floor and the timer will count to 10. Once it's lights out, the track transformed Autobot city style, harder than the default track o__O ______________________________________________________________________________ 7.4)-----------Track 4: Icebreaker ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -End O' The Beginning_____________1200 (Hold an Endo for 5 seconds on the green crate at the star!) -Husky Ride_______________________2400 (Complete the track with the Baggie) -Protected Species________________3600 (Don't hurt the penguins!) Whoop, challenge #1 is a whopper. That green crate right at the beginning, you need to do an endo on top of it for 5 seconds. Challenge #2 is to just complete the track with the Baggie. Challenge #3 is a challenge. Roll backwards all the way until you see that penguin with a hot dog on a fork sign. Go back a little further until you see the big penguin jump into the pit, then proceed back up and play the track like usual.... but with penguin obstacles in the way! Checkpoints retain their positions, so this isn't like those zero fault challenges where events don't reset, so take it easy in this track. ______________________________________________________________________________ 7.5)-----------Track 5: Cold Storage ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Reconnecting..___________________1200 (Get metal to metal to reconnect the device) -Cool Bug_________________________2400 (Perform a zero fault run with the Roach) -Blackout_________________________3600 (Short circuit the electricity to kill the lights) I hope I explain this right. Challenge #1 is near the end of the track, you'll see a large ramp hanging from the ceiling, that is halfway into a large hole in the ground, it has 2 wires that buzz intermittently, and below this ramp is a box with 2 horizontal yellow lights on it. You need to bailout from before this ramp, in the hopes that your biker grabs a hold of this box with the 2 yellow lights on it, and while holding the bailout button, swing him left and right by using your left joystick, till it reconnects with the 2 buzzing wires. Challenge #2 is a zero fault run by using the Roach bike. Challenge 3 is... crazy. Right at the beginning you'll notice more wires that are shorting, you need to bailout to grab onto one of these wires, and wait till the lights go out, then retry your last checkpoint. Finish this track with the lights out! ______________________________________________________________________________ 7.6)-----------Track 6: Expedition ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Little Waddling Bundles of Joy!__1200 (Find the penguins home) -Human Pine Cone__________________2400 (Join the other cones on the pine tree) -Penguin Chase!___________________3600 (Catch that penguin!) For challenge #1, at the end of the track is a large horizontal log on the ground. At the tip of it will be smoke rising from the ground, you need to fall from this log and on the part below, then fall backwards into the hole. Enjoy the cut scene :P Challenge #2, near the beginning is a broken bridge. Along the first panel of the bridge is another panel 90 degrees facing down, you need to bailout and fall into this hole, press the bailout button to grab the tree, and wait for the scene to show birds flying away. Challenge #3 is another reverse at the starting light challenge. Just go back until you see a penguin on a cliff, and he will jump forward, get on the track, and run off. Chase him, and the challenge is complete when you... run him over >__> Do get a hang of the track before doing this, as it's easy to fault if you haven't mastered this track. ______________________________________________________________________________ 7.7)-----------Track 7: Airtime ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -FMX track: 65k to Gold You are going to drop straight down at the start of the track, so I suggest a superman backflip ;) ______________________________________________________________________________ 7.8)-----------Track 8: Ice Climb ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Skill game: 70m height for Gold Climb as high as you can. Amongst these is one particular checkpoint + ramp that is a little lower than the others, Cindy should speak at the checkpoint in front of it, and there's 2 ledges, the main part to go and one below it. Keep dropping down these ledges until you see the big red button. Challenge #2 is... a challenge. Or a nightmare. Maybe sniff something funny before doing this challenge ;) At the very start, when the elevator goes down, instead of racing off it, get near that gas that is fuming near you. Once the colors change, you can now race the track poisoned. That is, every thing will be wavy, the screen will wave up and down, that is, right side goes up while the left side goes down, vice versa, basically seesawing back and forth, you can only complete this track if you time your ramp climbs when the screen tilts, as it's nearly impossible going against physics. Challenge #3 is self explanatory. Why the Baggie? That.... thing. 0 fault! ______________________________________________________________________________ 8.2)-----------Track 2: Covert Ops ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Action Hero______________________1400 (Detonate at least 3 bombs from a single bailout) -God-like Flipping!!______________2800 (Complete at least 10 flips whilst earning a gold medal) -Lucy in the Sky__________________4200 (Land on the floating platform in the sky) Oh, the bombs all over this track. About mid way through the track, you will come across a peculiar arrangement of one bomb on the ground behind the rocky ramp, one bomb inbetween platforms in front of you, and one bomb stuck higher up above the 2nd bomb. You can complete Challenge #1 here, I found it very possible repeatedly if you launch your bike into the middle bomb and bailout, doing a cannonball pose (holding the left trigger) so that you can hit the above bomb while your bike hits the bottom 2! An alternate area is after the Lucy challenge below. You'll see 2 pairs of bombs on hanging platforms, you can aim your bike down to the first 2 and try to bailout over the platform on top to hit the other 2 bombs behind it. Challenge #2 is what it says. Very easy to do single flips, so do not try to bite off more than you can chew. Challenge #3 is a challenge. After the first part I mentioned for Challenge #1, you will come across a checkpoint that has a light switch on the floor right beside it. When you run over it, go up the ramp but then immediately fall backwards to have enough momentum to land on the next platform behind the thin ramp, your rear wheel must land on the thin platform while your front wheel is also above the thin platform, if your rear wheel touches the thin platform too early it will automatically lift, launching you in the wrong direction. Now, the thin platform that launches you will launch you onto other moving platforms, your destination is to the top of these jumpy platforms to a jet engine platform, just landing on it, crash or perfect is good enough to complete the challenge. ______________________________________________________________________________ 8.3)-----------Track 3: Mind the Gap ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -We Have a Jumper_________________1400 (Get hit by a crossing train so hard that your bike explodes) -Headshot!________________________2800 (Hurl yourself into the face of the girl on the Synthetic Clothing advert) -Delayed Departure________________4200 (Do anything you can to stop the train from leaving the station) Challenge #1 is rather easy. Near the beginning, you'll come across trains speeding by. There will be one orange lined track that arches over the left most track, and another orange rail inbetween the middle and right most track. I bailed out after jumping this first ramp, and made sure to angle the bike so that it lands on the middle track. Challenge #2 is hilarious. After you pass the train tracks near the beginning, You'll enter the burger food court and then a checkpoint, with a ramp below and the Synthetic poster hanging right in front of you. You need to bailout to smack your head into her head. I don't know if it's because I'm a guy, but I kept hitting her crotch >___> ahem, that's because I started from the upper level where the checkpoint is. You need to drop to the orange lined ramp below, then lean forward and bailout when you go Sky High (I love that movie). For challenge #3, you know how there's those blasted yellow scaffolding going high into the ceiling, and the checkpoint up top of the ventilation system? You bailout from there to grab the light hanging from the ceiling above the two stairs. ______________________________________________________________________________ 8.4)-----------Track 4: RedLynx Derby ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Viperless Pit____________________1400 (Complete the track in 10 faults or less with the Roach) -Hitting Targets__________________2800 (Hit all of the blue target signs during a run with 5 faults or less) -Spider Mode______________________4200 (Turn the camera upside down and go on to complete the track) Ouch, complete this miserable track with the Roach? Are they kidding me? Challenge #2 might be a little more easier, and I say that lightly because that very first blue bullseye at the beginning of the track can be faulted and then not count because it's a track reset. But, if you have 4 faults, you can bail out into them, as they light up when hit, and with the exception of the first bullseye, every one of them survive a reset. Of course, you only have 5 faults to work with (and complete the track too!) By the way the first bullseye, I found it easier to just roll your front wheel off it and do a backflip to land on the ground below. Challenge #3, ther'es a gyro behind the starting light, roll down backwards and once you hit the gyro, everything goes upside down >__< Hey, maybe your graphics card supports rotating the display, that would help! XD ______________________________________________________________________________ 8.5)-----------Track 5: Jungle Gymkhana ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Jungle Jim_______________________1400 (Complete at least 2 flips before reaching the 2nd checkpoint) -Tree House Club__________________2800 (Swing like a monkey into the secret tree house) -Archeology_______________________4200 (Solve the ancient riddle) Challenge #1 might sound like a crazy one, but it's simple: when the swing in front of you swings closer, ride off the starting platform and backflip into the big swing, brake, let the swing go back, then once it goes forward, ride high and bunny hop off it and back flip onto the place where the 2nd checkpoint is :) Challenge #2 is wacky. After checkpoint 3, which has a rotating rubiks cube of colorful lights beside it, you'll do a climb up ramps to reach a checkpoint high up in a tree. Stop, roll backwards slightly, and use precise engine control thanks to the analog right trigger, you can make your way back up this ramp to checkpoint 4, when we are near the top, hit the gas to launch yourself all the way above checkpoint 4, which is a handle swing, and grab it with the bailout button. Use the left joystick to swing left and right, to swing left to the next handlebars, until you see the tree house, and swing into there. Oh man challenge #3. Took me 285 tries lol. Remember those rubik cubes I was talking about? Each checkpoint that has these cubes have a round button on the floor that, when your bike in on the button, the cube will rotate. There's 3 of these cubes, the first one rotates in full. There's 6 lights in all on a side like a dice, facing you, make the cube rotate to have 2 green lights and 1 yellow below on the left side of the cube. The second cube, the bottom 2 lights only rotate, make it so that red and blue lines up on the left side of the cube. The last cube, make it rotate so that on the left side of the cube, a red and a yellow lines up. Some alien music should play, and run into the finish light so that you crash behind it, and a Stargate circle will appear and zap you to a UFO above :D ______________________________________________________________________________ 8.6)-----------Track 6: Polar Accelerator ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -FMX track: 35K for Gold Uh oh, I am highly recommending you flip your poses and land them perfectly for maximum scores, make them count by doing specific poses on specific ramps, for example, when a jump launches you forward, something like Superman or Coffin is good. ______________________________________________________________________________ 8.7)-----------Track 7: Hard Wheeling ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Skill game: Do a wheelie for as long as possible! Challenge #1 is doing the hero pose as you sail through the finish light. Challenge 2, at checkpoints, you'll notice a large red/orange circle on the ground. You need to do a wheelie on it for a few seconds until they turn green. Challenge #3 is, easy to find, a nightmare to finish >_> At the starting light, reverse until you hit a missile, which will land not too far away. It landed right after the 2nd checkpoint, you'll notice the warp light in the ditch below. Fall into it (not fault into it), and welcome to warp zone 4. There's one behind you at the starting light, right below the cliff of checkpoint #2, at checkpoint #3, at the other side of the creek behind the small ramp, on checkpoint #4, you'll see and island, it's on the end away from you, the next one is below checkpoint #5, at the end of the sloped log, the next one is below checkpoint #6, it's below the log so you might need to bailout into the flowers, the next one is after checkpoint #7, on the other side of the boat, and after checkpoint #8, above the ramp that has a bomb below, and the last one is beyond the finish light, you need to bailout over the cliff and hope you hit it >__< Challenge #2 is so hidden. At a checkpoint near the end, you'll notice what looks like an exhaust pipe coming from below, and a light on the rocky beam across the track. Jump onto this rocky beam with the lightbulb and bailout up while holding the bailout button. You should have grabbed a handlebars like the tree house club thing. Just swing this back and forth and the exhaust pipe will smoke a bit. Once it's done, go on down the pit below where the exhaust pipe is, and make your way to the end of this underground cavern. Challenge #3 is what it says. This part is the only part where you can have enough speed to perform the backflip, at no other point in this track is there such a chance. By the way you backflip to the ground below you, not over the ladder. Challenge #3 is what it says. Challenge #2, go reverse at the starting light, up the ramp and nudge that black wall down. Then go into the dead end there, and wait till a, something happens, and then voila! You turned into....a.... that michelin guy from Ghostbusters....with a Playstation Move head >_> Complete the track like this. So challenge #3, remember that Endo sign for challenge #1? Reach the high platform) -Rabbit's Survival Run______________________3200 (Complete the track in 10 faults or less with the Rabbit) -Master of Illusion_________________________4800 (Make your rider disappear and then go on to complete the track) For challenge #1, after the 2nd checkpoint, with the blue arrow signs, when a panel falls out, instead of going ahead, jump off this platform with the down arrow sign and bailout towards the chain below the rock above you, grab it with the bailout button, and then do your swings across, when you reach one that looks like a dead end, it will rise, then grab the last chain and swing it to the platform (you can grab the platform and it will still count). Challenge #2 is self explanatory. Challenge #3, oh boy, reverse at the starting light and touch the warp looking thing. Then, your biker will disappear >__> You are going to have to pay extra attention to any movements of your bike if you are going to complete this challenge, originally that biker was the visual notification of your left joystick movements. ______________________________________________________________________________ 9.5)-----------Track 5: Inferno IV ______________________________________________________________________________ TRACK CHALLENGES: -Crank Up The Heat__________________________1600 (Detonate all the explosive barrels) -Disrespecting the Teacher__________________3200 (Hold a wheelie for at least 10 seconds on the tutorial billboard) -Be One wight he Bike_______________________4800 (Turn your bike invisible and then go on to complete the track) Challenge #1, just impact all the explosive barrels along the track. I find it really really odd they want us to do this after all those tracks of avoiding those bombs >__> For Challenge #2, not far from the beginning, you'll notice one of those giant tv screens that was teaching us those moves in the Training programs, flat on the ground. Land on it, and do a wheelie for 10 seconds. For challenge #3, at the starting light, you'll jump a ramp, and onto a lower ramp with a slightly raised ramp. Below this raised ramp is a button. Low in power, but high in possibilities ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 3= FAQs ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Q: How come my inputs are too slow? A: Well, you need quite a good graphics card to even run at minimum. If the game lags at anytime, your controller inputs look like they didn't register due to timing differences between dropped frames and the moment you told the game you pressed a button. This in turn makes it look like you didn't press the button correctly. Q: I can't do trick properly. A: Remember that the left joystick is also analog. Yes, leaning is simply a forward, backward response, and not slightly forward, or slightly backward, but that's only for leaning the biker, in the air, you can determine how fast you can rotate the bike around by how far you push the stick.
