black
heartless enemies will appear. Kill all of them by pressing the attack (X) button.
Then you reach the "3 Hearts Platform". Learn about breaking boxes, and opening
chests. A door appears. Examine it and you notice it can't be opened. Open the
chest
that appears and destroy the box to get a potion, whick heals some HP. You end up
on
an island. Answer Whakka, Tidus, and Selphie's questions. Choose the top ones if
you
want to gain levels fast in the beginning and slow at the end. Answer all the middle
ones to gain levels at normal speed all the time and the bottom ones to gain levels
slow in the beginning and fast at the end. You end up on the Sleeping Beauty
platform. Kill all the Heartless and save at the save point. Go over the bridge
that
appears and you will encounter your first boss fight.....Darkside.

Darkside
HP-240
EXP-18
Hit one of his hands that is closest to the ground. When he raises it to load an
attack, go to the other hand and attacks. He plunges his hand into the ground and
summons heartless enemies. Attack them if you want to and you can deflect the dark
orbs he sends at you to get extra experience. The darkness eats you away when you
win and you wake up on Destiny Islands.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
DESTINY ISLANDS
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You(Sora)are sleeping on the beach when your friend Kairi woke you up. After a
conversation with her, you meet Riku another one of your friends. Lately, you've
been working on a raft that would take you, Kairi and Riku to other worlds. After
the scene, go up to Kairi and she will tell you to get.....

1 Cloth
2 Logs
1 Rope

The first log is on the beach right nearby and the second is on the island where
Riku is. The rope is on the wooden platform where Tidus is in the corner. The cloth
can be reached by going up the ladder near the waterfall and in the room and the
top
at the path. Go back to Kairi and she will give you a Hi-Potion. You will have a
choice to call it a day or hang around. Hanging around will give you the
opportunity
to fight Selphie, Tidus, Whakka, and Riku.

Selphie
HP-?
EXP-?
Selphie is sitting on the edge of the dock. She uses a jump rope as a weapon. Just
attack her and try not to get your Hp alarm on, so you don't have you use your
items. You receive a few points and some tech-points for blocking her moves.

Tidus
HP-?
EXP-?
Tidus is on the wooden platform where you found the rope. He uses a wooden sword
just like you. Block his moves to recieve tech-points and you get about 2 or 3
points for winning.

Whakka
HP-?
EXP-?
Whakka is on the beach near the dock. He uses a ball as a weapon. Block the ball
when he throws it at you to receive tech-points and to stun him for a few seconds.
You get 4 or 5 points for winning.

Riku
HP-?
EXP-?
Riku is tough. Attack him and he will sit down but flip backwards and hit you. You
get 4 or 5 points for winning.

Go to Kairi to call it a night and a cutscene at the castle will satrt. Afterwards,
when it's back to Destiny Islands, go through the door Kairi was blocking to enter
the cove.

COVE
----

Walk across all the cove and talk to Kairi who is near the raft. She will wonder
where Riku is. Go back to where you entered the cove and talk to Riku. Race him to
decide who's captain. Take any path to get to the star and back and note that the
wooden path at the start will break. For winning you get a Pretty Stone. Then go
back to Kairi. She will ask if you can find...

1 Seagull Egg
3 Fish
2 Green Coconuts
Drinking Water (from the waterfall)
3 Mushrooms.

Kairi will give you a container for the water. push the giant rock near Kairi at
the
wall and go inside to get the first mushroom. Then go to the nearby trees and hit
them with your sword to knock down some coconuts. Get two green ones. The second
mushroom is near the big wooden tower with a rope and pulley. Afterwards, head back
to the seashore using the hole by the star that you raced Riku to.

Seashore
--------
Go into the waterfall that is to the left to get the water. Go down to the ocean
and
get the fish that are swimming. Go to the area right before the path to the island
Riku was on.Cimb one of the trees and jump to the other one to get the seagull egg.
Then go to Whakka and he'll point to a hole in the wall. Enter the Secret Place and
get the last mushroom. A cutscene will show Sora drawing on the walls and then
meeting a unknown person in a hooded coat known as "Ansem", a name that will be
more
familar at the end of the game. When done talk to Kairi.
This will be your last chance to fight Whakka, Tidus, and Selphie, and now there's
an option to fight all of them by talking to Tidus and clicking on "3". If you
don't
want to, call it a day. A very long scene shows a storm coming to Destiny Islands.
Head to the island Riku is on and it shows darkness taking his body over. Then a
small flash of light and Sora gets the keyblade, a weapon that has the ability to
destroy all the heartless that are now appearing. Rush to the secret place, which
now has a door and show Kairi dissapearing. Head out and be ready. Darkside
returns......

Darkside #2
HP-300
EXP-60
After you receive the mysterious keyblade, you encounter your nemesis, Darkside. He
sends more energy balls and shadows heartless at you. Wipe out the shadows and
watch
out for the energy balls and hit his hand. You end up in Traverse Town after the
battle.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
TRAVERSE TOWN
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

1st District
------------

After Destiny Island's destruction, Sora wakes up in the 1st Distict of Traverse
Town. After meeting Pluto, and getting control back, head to the Accessory Shop and
save at the save point. Open the chest on top of the cabinet to obtain a Mythril
Shard. Note there is a shop here but considering you have no "munny" yet, this is
useless for now. Exit the shop and go up the stairs to the left and enter the big
door to enter the 2nd District.

2nd District
------------

After the Heartless attacks the man and turns him into one, defeat all the
heartless
around here and head back into the 1st District.

1st District
------------

The Heartless are invading the 1st District now. Just ignore all of them and enter
the accessory shop and exit where you will meet Squall Leonheart, or Leon as
everyone calls him. He wants to fight you for the keyblade. Don't push yourself
though. It doesn't matter if you win or lose, the game will still go on. If you
want
to win to get the experience, follow this.....

Leon
HP-120
EXP-30
When he shoots fire at you, hit it back to damage and stun him. Go over to him and
attack until he stands up again.

2nd District
------------

If you win or lose, Sora gets tired from the battle and falls down. You wake up in
a
hotel room with Leon and Yuffie who explains to you what is going on with the
heartless and the keyblade. After opening the chest and talking to Leon, heartless
will invade the room and Leon will tell you to find the Heartless leader and will
leave you to deal with them. Ignore all of the heartless, considering they might be
too hard for you to beat at this time of the game. Go back to the 1st District and
save in the accessory shop. Then head back to the 2nd District and turn right at
the
FIRST hallway and turn the corner and enter the 3rd District.

3rd District
------------

A scene shows Sora running down the stairs and then meeting Donald and Goofy. Then
a

big group of Heartless appears. Fight them and after they're defeated, the leader
of
the Heartless, Guard Armor will appear. Be ready!

Guard Armor
HP-650
EXP-150
Destroy his legs, then destroy his arms, then his body. Watch out for the spinning
attack and use items when necessary. Or you can wait for Donald or Goofy to heal
you. You get Brave Warrior which slightly raises HP and defence.

After the fight, Donald and Goofy join your party. After the long cutscene, Donald
gives you the ability to use magic by giving you Fire attack. They also give you
the
ability Dodge Roll. Equip it by going to abilities from the pause menu by going to
abilities and then "Sora". This is the way you will equip abilities you gain
through
level ups throughout the game. Head for the big door and notice a blue mark called
a
Trinity Mark on the ground. They come in all different colors and will give you
things by doing a specific action. For now, you can only do the blue ones. Exit
through the door and there are three warp holes. go into the one above Traverse
Town, for it's the easisest right now. Fly the gummi ship through the obstacle and
you eventually reach Wonderland. Choose "Disembark" to begin.....

               Boss #1:    Squall Leonheart(Leon)
               Attacks: Fire, He shoots a fireball at you.
                           Jump Slash, The name describes it.(I think he has this
one .)
                           Slash, Again the name describes it.
                                      Strategy:

|Leon just walks around the arena but dont let his laid back attitude fool you! he
can and does run when he uses his two sword moves, so be on your guard. To beat him
whenever he does the Slash move just dodge and........ Beat the living snot out of
him!|
____________________________________________________________________________________

               Attacks: Whirling Slash,He whirls his arms around and slashes you.
                           Stomp, Name describes it.
                                    Strategy:

|One word: EASY. Just attack his limbs separately to get the most Exp. Points. you
can always go the easy way and his Torso only, but you will NEVER beat some of the
harder Bosses without being a high Level. Especially Cerberus & Clayton.|

WONDERLAND
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rabbit Hole
-----------
After landing in the rabbit hole, a white rabbit, complaining that he's late, runs
past you and disappears. Head the way he went and enter the next room.
Bizarre Room
------------
The rabbit runs through a very small door. Go up to the doorknob and he tells you
you are too big to fit and to try to drink the bottle on the table that appears.
Before doing so, push the bed so it reveals another way to get in. Then drink the
bottle to get smaller. Heartless will now appear but just ignore them and enter
through the way you just revealed.
Queen's Castle
--------------
In a cutscene, Alice is on trial when Sora interrupts it. You have to prove Alice's
innocence by finging proof. Before going through the passageway, note there's a
save
point.
Lotus Forest
------------
In a cutscene, Sora meets the Chesire Cat. He tells you there are 4 peices of
evidence that will prove Alice is innocent. 3 are easy to find but the last one is
complex. the first peice of evidence is near the two toadstools in a pink chest.
Jump on top of them and go across the leaves and jump into the tree trunk. You will
land on the bizarre room fireplace where there is another peice of evidence. Head
back into the Lotus forest. When you find 3 toadstools together, jump on the middle
one and the third peice of evidence should be visable. Open it and then head down
to
where you entered the forest from the castle. Talk to the yellow flower and give it
a potion and it will make you bigger. Hit the tree once and then take the fruit and
then eat it to grow small again. Jump onto the 2 mushrooms that are together and
onto the tree and onto the now available entrance on a new group of leaves.
Bizarre Room
------------
You land on a faucet. On the platform to the right is the last peice of evidence.
Jump to it and if you miss, simply go back to the forest and try again. After
opening the chest, the Chesire Cat appears and gives you blizzard magic. Head back
to the castle afterwards.
Queen's Castle
--------------
Talk to the Ace of Heartls near the queen to present the evidence. The queen will
only let you present one. If you open a box and Donald and Goofy are in it, you
will
be fighting this battle alone. If it's a heartless, the queen gets angry and orders
the cards to attack.
Attack each gear on each side of the tower. If this seems difficult because the
cards are attacking, attack the queen once and the heart and diamond cards will be
stunned for a while. Don't concentrate on defeating the cards because they will
come
back. After the battle, you notice Alice is missing from the cage. Head into the
Lotus Forest.
Lotus Forest
Give the yellow flower a potion so you can grow big and kick the rock into the
water. Then hit the tree and get the fruit to get small again. Jump onto the three
mushrooms in the back and enter the new entrance to another Bizarre Room.
Don't worry about the card soldiers, They dont give you ANY Exp. Instead attack
that building with the Wheels. Every time you destroy one of the wheels you get
Leon & Yuffie Strategy:
	There is no doubt you will have trouble with this duo. It took me about 5
tries to finally take them down.
Anyway, your primary target when you begin the battle is Yuffie. Do not worry about
Leon for he normally walks
 to you. You've got plenty of time to smack Yuffie around a bit before Squall gets
to you. When he does, just
run or roll out of the way. You HAVE to focus on just Yuffie for now. The standard
strategy for Yuffie is just move
in and attack mercilessly (sp?). She'll stard flipping backwards and away from you
in time to throw a shuriken at
you. When this happens, you have 3 options:
1. Dodge it
2. Deflect it by attacking it
3. Deflect it by blocking
	If you successfully deflect 3 shurikens back at her, she'll be knocked out
for a little bit, allowing you to
beat on her for a little bit.
	So, when Yuffie gets close to dying, she'll power up and unleash a homing
shuriken. This shuriken
hunts you down for about 5 or so turns. It comes to you and if it hits you or
misses
you, it'll come back in a few
seconds. Keep moving to dodge it. Just make sure not to accidentally run into Leon
or you'll be sorry. Smack
around Yuffie some more when the homing shuriken dissappears and she'll be down for
the count in no time.
Keep in mind that you cannot deflect THIS shuriken back at Yuffie.
	Okay, 1 down... 1 to go. Leon's a total badass. He'll kick your ass in a
second if you mess up. Make
sure not to mess up. ;) Anyway, deflect Leon's standard attacks with either a block
or an attack (preferrably a
block, but I'm not sure if you've acquired it yet). If you successfully deflect an
attack, you'll see a message in
mid-air stating "Tech: #p" (you've gained a few experience for deflecting an
attack)
and you'll also notice Leon
stagger a bit. This is your que to kick his ass around until you finish your combo.
Continue doing so until his
health is low.
	When this happens, Leon also powers up. For Leon, however, his sword grows
into a magical Lionhart
which, at this point of the game, deals quite a bit of damage. Make sure your
health
is full before running at
Leon. This time, you cannot deflect even his standard attacks. Just jump up and
down
and smack him upside
the head until he's dead. It's easier said than done, however.
	Good luck.
3rd Seed:		Dark Squadron		1 Wight Knight, 2 Gargoyles, 2
Pirates, 2 Air Pirates
Pirates
1st Seed:		Hercules			Hercules
Standard Spoils: Shield "Herc's Shield", Keyblade "Olympia", Yellow Trinity
Solo Spoils: Item "Orichalcum"
Time Trial Spoils: Item "Strength Up"
Cloud Strategy:
	As if he wasn't hard enough the first time, the beefed up Cloud once again
takes you on. Boh. Cloud's
attacks (at first) consist of standard attacks (short-range melee attacks) and
an "impaling" attack (before he
does this move, he jumps away from you and proceeds to yell before he does it).
When
it comes to the
standard attacks, use the same strategy as Leon. Just deflect it and proceed to
beat
him up. When it comes to
the impaling attack, however.... there's nothing you can do at this point of the
game. You're more than likely
 not strong enough to deflect it yet, so just keep dodging it. But if you feel you
are, go for it.
	Anyway, when Cloud's health gets low he usually unleashes his super attack
where he flies around on
his one wing hacking at you. This move is VERY hard to dodge, so just try to BLOCK
it (un-deflectable). Before
he unleashes the attack he states "Farewell", so watch out for that. Once he's done
with the One-Winged
Angel, he'll be the same 'ol Cloud. Kick his ass. :)
Hercules Strategy:
	Ask me and I'll tell you Nomura should have made Cloud the final boss for
this Cup and named it the
Cloud Cup. :p Yes, Hercules is THAT easy. Anyway, when Hercules is glowing yellow:
he's invulnerable. If
you're locked on (you should be), press L2 until you're locked onto one of the
barrels that materialize before
your eyes. run up to it and choose to lift it. Lock on once again to Herc and wait
for him to show off (he
always says "Give up yet?"). This is your que to throw the barrel at him. His
yellow
aura will be gone, which
gives you time to smack him around. He usually fights back but it's usually not
enough to take you at in one
hit.
	When he spins around just glide around. He won't be able to hit you. Also,
when he runs low on
energy he unleashes a sort of super attack every once in a while where he creates a
shell around him that
hurts you. It don't hurt you that much, so don't worry. In time, he'll be down for
the count. A pushover,
at most.
Hades Cup Note: This Cup consist of 49 Seeds. This is cake at first, but gets
harder
after each Seed... you'll see.
After progressing through 10 Seeds, you are allowed to continue from that point if
you lose. Meaning: If you
get up to the 39th Seed and lose, you can continue from the 40th seed. Understand?
Good. :)
1st Seed:		Rock Titan		Rock Titan
Standard Spoils: Ability "Trinity Limit"
Solo Spoils: Staff/Wand "Save the Queen"
Time Trial Spoils: Shield "Save the King"
Yuffie Strategy:
	Same Yuffie as before. Only this time she usually throws 3 standard
shuriken
at once. Other than
that and the fact that she's a bit stronger: same strategy as above applies.
Cloud & Leon Strategy:
	Ouch. This is one hard battle. It took me about 8 tries to finally take
these guys down. Yes, they're
THAT tough when together. Okay, this time around: attack and finish off Leon first.
But before you do that,
lure Donald and Goofy to Cloud so they can keep him occupied while you deal with
Leon. The same exact
strategy applies for Leon as stated above. Nothing new in his arsenal, despite the
fact that he's much
stronger.
	Cloud is also the same as he was the last time you fought except, as
everyone else, is much stronger
than last time. The same strategy applies. Just be conservative and run away when
you're in trouble. :)
Hades Strategy:
	So now you know where Hades was all this time. :) Waiting to get his ass
kicked by you!!! :p
	Anyway, this battle is surprisingly tough. It'll more than likely take you
a
few tries to take him down
(3 for me). Trial and Error, people. At first, you CAN attack Hades as much as you
want but it won't hurt him.
That doesn't mean it won't affect him. :) He has a sort of invisible "shield"
where,
if enough damage is
applied, it'll "break" and he'll start to take damage. There really is no
indication
of this, but I just know from
experience. Hades starts by floating around and spewing flames out of his hands.
He's very slow so just run
away from him. In time, he'll run out of juice so just kick it to him until he
starts his next wave of that attack.
	In time, he'll turn red and go to the middle of the arena. This part is
very
tough. First, make sure
you're not as his SIDES but either in front or behind him (try to be close to him,
too). He'll raise his arms and
shoot powerful flames from his arms. This attack lasts about 10 seconds. Think
that's nothing? Think again.
This attack is the SOLE reason I lost to him 3 times. The reason for being close to
him is to dodge roll in the
direction he's going (he turns, btw). If you're farther away, the flames will
eventually catch up to you. If
you're closer, you'll be going just as fast as the flames, really. Just makes sure
to mash on Square like there's
no tomorrow. Eventually he'll turn blue again, so just smack him around.
	Just repeat and he'll be down for the count in no time.
Rock Titan Strategy:
	Why? Why is this pushover the final boss of the Coliseum and Hades at the
10th seed?? WHY?!
	This battle is SOOOOOOOOOO easy. Just hack at his feet for a while until he
falls. Climb up on his
body and hack at the head of your choice. Eventually, damage will start being taken
out (another invisible
shield scenario). The only thing to be afraid of in this battle is an extremely
lethal foot stomp that happens
every once in a while. It never happened to me the first time I fought him, but I
can't seem to remember if
there's any indication that it's coming. Other than that, this battle is so easy.
Continue hacking at his feet
until he falls, and hack at his head. They might as well just give you the damned
trophy...
------------------------------
Gold Match: Ice Titan
------------------------------
This match is unlocked after completion of the Hades Cup. It's the first "???"
after
Hades Cup at the menu.
	This match may seem extremely hard at first. Impossible, even. But it's
actually very easy, and
happens to be the very best place to level up later in the game (more on that in a
sec).
	The general premise of this match is to reflect the icicles the Titan
SHOOTS
at you (not the ones
that come out of the ground). I suggest you stay around a corner in the Coliseum
for
this match. In time,
the screen will flash and you are given a chance to hack at his head to inflict
critical damage. He WILL get
up in time, however. It is then when he starts to use new moves onyou. One is when
giant snowballs appear
over your head and fall down above you, 3 at a time. Just keep moving to dodge this
move.
	After another flash, he'll acquire another move: an Ice Storm (sorta). If
you're in the corner like I told
you to be, it won't hit. If it does somehow hit you, you're too close so go to
another corner. Continue with
the standard strategy (moving around a little, deflecting every chance you get) and
he'll be down for the
count in no time. You are now 5000p+ richer. :)
Note: This is THE greatest place to level up in the game. Each icicle blocked gives
you 27p, and the average
player deflects 100 or more icicles a match. If you want even more xp a match, try
killing him using only his
icicles. This will more than likely give you about 4000p in icicles alone, and when
you kill him you get 5000p.
That's 9000p from one battle. Good deal or what? :)
Note: DO NOT CAST AERO/A/AGA IN THIS BATTLE! IT WILL MAKE THE ICICLES THAT ARE
THROWN BECOME EVEN LARGER!!!!
----------------------
Platinum Match
----------------------
Note: Make sure all your item slots are "occupied" by Elixirs. Yes, all of them.
Also, make sure to have the
Ability "Second Chance" equipped.
	This is the original "???" option at the Cup selection menu (before you
complete the Hades Cup
and unlock the Gold Match). This match is the toughest battle in the game.
According
to PSM, when they
called up Square for help, the man responded with "Well, are you level 100 yet?".
Is
that crazy or what?
Well, truth is: if you took all the Strength/Defense/AP Ups for yourself you should
be ready for this boss
at about level 85. If I can do it, you can, too. :)
	No spoilers here, btw. You'll be pleasantly surprised to see who it is.
Anyway, this boss has
very long reach and is relatively quick to boot. It's a tough battle, I tell you.
Always approach the boss
by jumping/gliding. Never walk up to him and attack. It's suicide. At first, the
boss doesn't take any
damage (yet another invisible shield scenario) but eventually will. The boss also
unleashes a fire pillar attack
if you stay close to him too much. Once the boss's energy is taken downto the
orange
level, he comes out
with a new move called "Sin Harvest" (it's actually a one hit kill, but since you
have second chance equipped,
that won't be happening any time soon :p). If you see the boss at a corner casting
a
spell, and also see a halo
appear over your head: USE AN ELIXIR, QUICK!!!!  He'll come running to you very
fast. If you don't work
fast enough, you're a goner. Anyway, continue using this strategy until about the
green level of his health.
	When this happens, he'll power up and be surrounded by a blue aura. Don't
go
around looking for
barrels, though. Unlike Herc, this does not mean he's invulnurable.This just means
he's stronger than before,
and now has even more magical abilites. He'll cast Meteor and the like, so be very
careful. I haven't had any
success dodging meteors, so Good Luck to you. But, that didn't stop me from winning
in the end.
When you get a chance, smack him around. In time, he'll go down... again. This
time,
for good.... I hope.
This is a good strategy for this boss submitted by "wrexsoul":
"Some more precise tips for the boss' first form.
- He will only use his fire pillar offensively after his 4-5 strike.
- He will immediately teleport counter if comboed for 4 hits. If comboed
for less, he will do the firepillar counter.
- When he uses fire pillar or teleport it will reset his strike count.
He has three types of strikes.
1.) Stands still, circular strike
2.) Lunges and strikes in the air, lands, jumps back a little behind his
original position.
3.) Hops forward, and does a standing still circular strike.
Strike #2 is the most dangerous, but he cannot hit you if you are near his
left shoulder.
The boss will pause very briefly and be stunnable any strike he does
(excepting when his strike counter is 4 or above)
To fight him, walk towards him, and jump at him when you are at the edge of
his attack radius.  He will do one of those three strikes.
If he does #1 combo him when you land
If he jumps and strikes at you, veer towards his left shoulder, and run
forward when you land.  He should jump back near to you, and you can then
combo him.
Strike three must be comboed after he lands and does a circular slash
similar to strike #1.
If you are trapped in the middle of the firepillar attack, it will hit you
twice, making it the only thing that he can KO you with if you have second
chance equipped.
So basically, staying away from him on his 4+ strike and making sure to
complete your combos is the way to get through his first form."
Note: You CAN stop Sin Harvest from being cast. When you hear him say "Sin Harvest"
and see him casting
it, Superglide to him and interrupt him (attack him). That's one less elixir to
use. :)
Note2: Despite the fact that you get 18000p from this guy, this is NOT a good place
to gain levels. It's not worth
1 or more elixirs a match just to level up. Trust me.
Note2: People have been e-mailing me saying this IS a good place to level up. Do
what you want, but if you
run out of elixirs... don't say I didn't warn you.
Note3: According to various readers, Ars Arcanum works very well against this boss.
Note4: According to various readers, my "Invisible Shield" theory is false. What's
actually happening is that
there are more HP bars than Square decided to put in (you know... Boss HP bar goes
Red->Orange->Yellow->Green).
Still, I think my "Invisible Shield" thing fit well... or something. ^^;
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
TRAVERSE TOWN KEYHOLE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1st District
------------
You can't get anywhere else unless you get those gummi blocks into your ship. Maybe
you should take then to Leon to see what he can do. Go into the alley behind the
accessory shop and use the red trinity mark to smash through it.
Alleyway
--------
Jump over the boxes, and walk all the way to the water whee the gate is blocking
the
tunnel. Use the red trinity mark to smash through the gate.
Secret Waterway
---------------
You have just entered Leon's training area. Talk to him twice. He tells you Cid
might know about the gummi blocks. He gives you his luck charm, earthshine. Go to
Cid inside the accessory shop.
Accessory Shop
--------------
Talk to Cid and he'll say he'll install the peices into your ship if you deliver a
book to a wizard near the 3rd district. He tells you to meet him in the small house
of the 3rd District.
3rd District
------------
Pass the heartless and go down the passage where a door with a fire emblem is. Use
fire magic on it and the door will unlock. Head into it. Walk across the rocks and
don't fall off or you'll have to start over. Reach the house at the end and enter
through the left side. After a cutscene, you meet Merlin the wizard who has been
sent here to help you with your magic spells. Give him the book and he'll let you
look at it whenever you want. He intoduces you to the Fairy Godmother. Giver her
the
stone Leon gave you and you learn to summon Simba. Summoning a spirit in battle
cost
3 MP and all your part must be alive. They are in battle to help you but only a
short while. When your done here, head back to the 3rd District and you'll finally
meet up with Riku! He dissapears quickly after your chat and so enter the small
house up the stairs when control shifts back to Sora. You hear a bell ring in the
cutscene in the house. Cid tells you he'll install your gummi peices but in the
meantime, go ring the bell in the 2nd District for a surprise. Head out of the
house
and into the nearby door to enter the 2nd District. Go into he nearby big white
building to enter the Gizmo shop. Walk through the other end and up the ladder.
2nd District
------------
After killing the heartless that appear, do the trinity mark on the boards blocking
the bell and then ring the bell 3 times. Everytime you ring it, the nearby fountain
wall changes appearance. After ringing it the third time, Traverse Town's keyhole
is
revealed. head to the fountain but right when you are about to seal it, Guard Armor
attacks. Attack it a bit and then it transforms into a much stroner Opposite Armor.
Opposite Armor
HP-900
EXP-700
Opposite Armor shoots across the field so use a dodge roll attack so he misses.
After defeating the legs, it'll use it's head for a cannon. This is powerful so do
your best to block it. you get the magic Aero, which makes a defence barriar for
winning. Head back to the 1st District.
1st District
------------
You'll see Cid at the back of the accessory shop. He really works with gummis. He
installs your peices and your ready to go. He gives you a Comet-G. Now go off into
the gummi ship and go to the warp hole available at the new ring of worlds.
~~~~~~~~~
AGRABAH
~~~~~~~~~~
You appear in a small storage room. Save your game and exit through the door. The
bandits are a new type of heartless here, along with stroner shadows. Go through
the
big passage to enter Main Street.
Main Street
-----------
Kill the heartless if you desire and turn right and climb up the pole to enter
Alladen's house.
Alladen's House
---------------
Move the block to free the carpet. Afterwards it flys off towards the desert but
before going there, explore the city a while. Move the block in the corner to
reveal
a keyhole. Release it to open a door somewhere in the city. There might be a guy in
here to sell you items. Head out through the open door to go to a higher level of
the plaza. Jump across the wooden awnings and get to the other side. They'll fall
off if you stay on them for more than a second. Enter the gate you just opened.
Main Street
-----------
Back on Main Street. Jump down and enter the left passage to the alley for a
cutscene, you'll meet Jasmine and Jafar. He'll send heartless after you. Kill them
all and jump up onto the platform Jafar was on and release the lock to open the
gate. Then jump across the awnings. Jump onto the box, the next platform and exit
through the gate and go back into the plaza and go to the desert.
Desert
------
Save your game and then talk to the carpet you saved before. He'll give you a ride.
After the cutscene, kill all the heartless and then save Alladen from the
quicksand.
on the way back to Agrabah, Alladen will join your party. Replace Donald with
Alladen and when at Agrabah. Go to the storage room and save your game and notice
someone has blocked the way to main street! Jump onto the box and go across the
awnings again and go through the gate to reach Main Street. There is a pot with a
wooden board on it near the entry to the Plaza, jump from there and go up. Enter
Alladen's house for a cutscene and save your game. Go back into the passage near
the
save point and walk across the cloth awning and jump to the door on the left. Enter
the bazaar.
Bazaar
------
Tons of pot spider heartless, but they're weak. Jump across the wooden awnings and
jump up the next few platforms. When at the top, jump to the platform againced the
wall and release the lock. Go back to main street and jump across the light green
awning and you'll see a new gate opened. Enter there to get to the palace gates.
Palace Gates
------------
You'll see Jasmine and Jafar. Jump towards them. In a cutscene, Jafar summons a pot
centipede. Time to fight!
Pot Centipede
HP-600
EXP-250
Try to destroy all the pot spiders so the centipede won't build it's size. Attack
either the head or tail but the tail has worse defence. If you don't destroy the
pots, the centipede will break through the boards blocking the paths and this
battle
will be all over the place. Heal when your health is low and you get a Ray of
Light,
which slightly raises HP and MP for winning.
Head to the storage room and save your game. Then ride the carpet. The Cave of
Wonders Guardian appears. The heartless are controlling it. To bring it back, you
have to battle.
Cave of Wonders Guardian
HP-380
EXP-400
He spits heartless from his mouth. To make it worse, energy is sent from his eyes
to
target you. When the guardian stick his head into the sand, jump onto the head and
attack the eyes. The guardian will do a sand breath attack if you don't get on in
time. When one eye turns yellow, it has turned back to normal so attack the other
eye. It turns back to normal once you win. Enter the mouth.
Entrance
--------
Jump down the hole to enter the Silent Chamber.
Silent Chamber
--------------
Go through the darkened doorway to enter the Dark Chamber
Dark Chamber
------------
Save at the save point. Open the chest to get a torn page. Enter the next darkened
room.
Relic Chamber
-------------
Should be another way into the hidden room.
Hidden Room
-----------
Target lock the pillar and hit it with fire magic. Then make your way back to the
Relic Chamber and up the stairs to the hall.
Hall
----
There are lots of heartless here. Ignore them is the best way to stay alive. Enter
the bottomless hall.
Bottomless Hall
---------------
Walk through here and enter the Treasure Room.
Treasure Room
-------------
Save your game at the save point and enter the Lamp Chamber. Be ready to battle.
Lamp Chamber
------------
After a cutscene, you are to fight Jafar.
Jafar
HP-450
EXP-600
Jafar has the Genie on his side in this battle. Genie will say he's sorry and do a
weak attack but then he drops some HP balls. Attack Jafar when he's not flying in
the air. Jafar has two attacks. When he says, "Kallah la kot" a fire beam will be
shot out from his staff. He also does this big powerfull blizzard attack. Say out
of
the middle of the field. You get a blizzard upgrade to Blizzara for winning.
Jafar makes a wish to be a genie. The lamp chamber blows up. Jump down to stop
Jafar
once and for all!
Jafar #2
HP-750
EXP-730
You can attack Jafar but it won't do much good. Attack the lamp. Iago is holding
it.
Jafar will throw meteors at you. Just attack the lamp and Jafar will be sucked into
it. Fire is upgraded to Fira for winning and Ansem Report 1.
After sealing the keyhole, you have to control the carpet and get out before the
Cave of Wonders blows up. Afterwards, you end up at Alladen's house. You learn to
summon Genie, you get the ability to do green trinity, and you get Three Wishes
keychain for your keyblade. You can also use the green trinity mark in Traverse
Town's accessory shop to open the item worshop. there you can synthesize items.
Once
done here, head out to the next warp hole.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
MONSTRO
~~~~~~~~~~~~
You weren't really planning on going here but the messed up whale ate you so, might
as well explore.....
Mouth
-----
After the cutscene flashback, another cutscene, follow Pinocchio through the water
to Geppetto's wrecked ship. After the cutscene, Pinocchio gets loose and heads into
a passage. Save your game and then follow him into Chamber 1.
Chamber 1
---------
Monstro's body is like a maze. Follow these steps so you don't get lost. After the
cutscene, you have to follow Riku and Pinocchio. Head into the door to the left to
enter Chamber 2.
Chamber 2
---------
Attack the heartless if you want and then head into the door straight through the
chamber to enter Chamber 3.
Chamber 3
---------
Be sure not to get too crazy in fighting the heartless here. Don't fall off this
platform or you'll have to start over. I sugguest ignoring the heartless and enter
the nearby door to enter Chamber 2 again.
Chamber 2
---------
Only one door here. Enter to get to Chamber 5.
Chamber 5
---------
Enter the door on the other side of the Chamber to enter Chamber 6.
Chamber 6
---------
This is the biggest and most confusing Chamber in Monstro. Enter the highest door
to
enter Chamber 5 again.
Chamber 5
---------
Go through the nearby door on the same platform you're on to enter the last
chamber,
Chamber 4.
Chamber 4
---------
After the cutscene, save your game and follow Riku and Pinocchio into the Bowels
for
a fight.
Bowels
------
After a short cutscene, a big cage captures Pinocchio and attacks you.
Parasite Cage
HP-450
EXP-1000
This is a simple battle. Riku is helping you and this boss has a low HP meter. The
only attack Parasite Cage has is swinging the two whips it has. Save your magic for
healing only and use normal attacks. Goofy learns the ability Cheer for winning.
After the cutscene, jump dwn the hole Riku and Pinocchio just jumped into to get
back to the mouth.
Mouth
-----
It appears Riku has some "unfinished business to do" with Pinocchio and won't give
him back to Geppetto. After the cutscene, open the chest on the wrecked ship to
receive High Jump ability. To equip, go to abilities on the menu and go to shared
shadow will do. If this happens, your lock on will dissapear and you should dodge
roll away before it comes in for an attack behind you. Once you've hit him around a
bit, Anti Sora will multiply into three. The two fake ones wil dissapear in one
hit.
If you hit the real one, the two decoys will dissapear. This battle really does
require you to heal yourself a lot. That is why you should not use magic and only
physical to attack. You get a Raven's Claw for winning.
After the cutscene, open and jump down the hatch where Riku was and then save your
game inside. Looks like you can't get back up. Head into the door and climb the
and you'll lose the keyblade. However, Beast joins your part. Head up some more
after the cutscene, and the platform will take you to the castle. Go to the right
and examine the crystal at the edge and an elevator will appear, taking you down.
The wooden sword you're holding can't defeat these new heartless that good. Jump
into the bubble and then the next one after that to enter the waterway.
Waterway
--------
You'll be opening and closing doors by pushing the blue buttons. This is an easy
task. Work your way past this and you'll encounter a Defender Heartless at the end.
Have Beast defeat it because the wooden sword is no use. After it is killed, push
the button and you'll hear a door unlock. Head back to the Castle Gates and enter
the now unlocked Big Door to get back Donald and Goofy and your keyblade. However,
you have to fight Riku.
Riku
battle techinique is similar to Cloud's. Riku runs around te room. Glide to avoid
it.
He runs up to you and slashes you with his sword. Show Riku the power of the
keyblade and you receive the ability to do White Trinity,
find
four emblem peices to put into the door. Head into the door on the left after going
up the stairs to enter the Library.
Library
-------
You have to solve this puzzel before you can go on. Get the book on the floor in
the
corner and put it in it's missing place and and shelf will slide away, allowing you
to go upstairs. Use the green trinity mark near the save point to get another book.
Put all the books in it's proper place and it'll open up the library. Save your
game.
Castle Chapel, it's battle time.
Castle Chapel
off. She summons meteors and Defenders after you. When she flys around and you
stand
on the empty platform, it'll start spinning so you fall off. You get Ansem Report 5
and Donald learns Cheer for winning.
The next battle is the most difficult in the game. Save your game and equip your
party with items. Then enter the portal for a cutscene, then a battle.
Dragon
Avoid standing in front of the Dragon because it will do most of it's attacks
there.
Jump onto it's back and attack with Strike Raid. Use an Elixer when your MP meter
is
low. The Dragon jumps up and down, making phywaves. Be sure to stay on top of the
dragon and when he throws you off, get back on quickly and continue. There is
another way to beat the dragon. You can stand in the edge of the room where none of
the Dragon's attacks hit you and let Goofy and Donald take care of it. One more
way.....You can summon Tinker Bell, who doesn't have a
limit. Everytime you get hurt, Tinker Bell will heal you. If you get KO'ed, Tinker
Bell will full heal the MP and HP of the whole party but then she'll dissapear.
stop in front of the dragon so the face is close to the ground and attack with Ars
Arcanum and continue that process. You receive the Fireglow for winning. The
meter. This time, Riku has a keyblade. The Dark Keyblade so he has the almost the
same attacks as you. He will slash you with his blade so heal when needed. He has
his own version of Thunder. When he says, "Heal This!" he will point his keyblade
in
the air and many bolts of lightning will appear on the feild. You receive the
Ragnarok ability for winning.
Secret
Waterway, ya know, Leon's training grounds. Head into the pictures in there to get
a
Navi-G-Peice, then talk to Kairi for a cutscene. She gives you an Oathkeeper
go back to Hollow Bastion through the warp hole near Traverse Town.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hollow Bastion Part Two
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
way all the way back there. Talk to the Princesses in the Castle Chapel. Then go to
the Grand Hall and ignore the heartless. Before stepping into the big keyhole, Go
around the machinery and up the path and open the chest at the top to get the
oblivion. It takes away one Mp but equip it because it's the second strongest
is being held at the Colliseum. See Colliseum Tournaments for info on that....Then
go to the next warp hole, after going to Traverse Town and training.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
END OF THE WORLD
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When you land, exit through the doorway. Try to enjoy this part. It'll be the only
time you can walk on air. Follow the rock's directions as they are shaped like
arrows. If you open a chest, an orb will fall on you and you'll have to fight
heartless to get the treasure inside. There are, however, good stuff such as power
and defence ups. On the final red chest, you'll have to fight a Behemoth to get the
item. When you reach the rock pillars at the end with the white light floating
around it, you'll have to fight a Behemoth once the orb falls down on you.
Behemoth
HP-1050
EXP-600
Attack the horn and use the same strategy as you di in Hollow Bastion. When the
Behemoth is destroyed, it'll drop lots of HP balls and mythrill shards and all that
good treasure.
the
platform and use the save point that is near the glowing white light. Then jump
into
the light.
World Terminus
---------------
This is how all the heartless get in to all the worlds basically. Enter the middle
light, fight the heartless in each world and then open the chest in each world.
Then
enter the light on the other sided to reach the next platform. You'l eventually run
to the 100-Acre Wood. Use the save point here and then go to the next platform here
and you'll be in this weird hallway with a big heartless emblem at the end. Kill
all
the heartless here and then enter the next room and examine the machine. This'll,
if
you think about it closely, will explain the whole thing of what is going on. Then
heartless appear. Kill them and then go back to the hall and go through the warp
hole to go back to the platforms. Go back to the 100-Acre Wood and save your game.
Then jump through the hole that used to be the entry to the hallway for a boss
fight.
Chernebog
HP-1500
EXP-6000
Fly to the head and attack. Chernebog has two attacks. Eruption and Flamethrower.
They don't seem so strong now but they get better as he gets weaker. He'll use an
attack to blow you away. Just fly back and continue attacking. You get the shared
ability superglide, a better version of glide for winning. Enter the now empty
volcanoe, Chernebog was in.
Jump down all the platforms and then enter the light. Walk all the way through this
and then you'll eventually come to a green room. There's a Behemoth here. After
killing it, kill all the heartless until the heartless emblem blocking the door
completely breaks. Then enter it.
you
need the Torn Pages to continue. If you have them, good. Exit the 'Pooh's house'
area
and enter the area with the honey tree.
Game One: Pooh's Honey Tree
----------------------------
When you are in the 'Honey Tree' area, Piglet will hide from you. Sneak up on him
by
walking around the other side of the tree and talk to him before he runs into the
bushes. When you talk to him, Pooh appears. Piglet gives Pooh a balloon and now
Pooh's going to get some honey. Owl appears and now here is the first game. You
have
to protect Pooh from the bees or they'll pop the balloon. To get the bees away,
target lock and hit them away with the keyblade. After time runs out, you get
rewarded points for as many licks Pooh got. Exit the area when you are done and the
Torn Page becomes an item.
Game Two: Block Tigger
----------------------
Enter the area with a tree and a garden around it. When you are there, walk to the
back of the house and talk to Pooh. Then enter the house and hit the honey pot on
the ceiling down. Then try to exit the area but Piglet will stop you becuase Pooh
is
stuck in the house now. You end up back in the house. Talk to Rabbit and then talk
to Pooh on the back of the house and Tigger will show up. Now you have to block the
carrots or Tigger will destroy them. You get points by multiplying the carrots
saved
to the times you blocked Tigger. When you are done, Pooh gets out of the house and
the torn page turns to an item.
Game Three: Pooh Swing
----------------------
When you are there, get Eeyore out of the river and he has lost his tail. Target
lock Pooh and take him to the top of the hill and put him on the swing. Press R1 at
the right times to make Pooh fall on Eeyore's house. Stop is upgraded to Stopra for
winning. Then the torn page is turned into an item.
Game Four: Tigger's Giant Pot
-----------------------------
Do the bounce practice and then you will play the Pot game. Deflect all the nuts
Tigger throws at you back at the pot 20 times and then it breaks. Then exit the
area
and the torn page becomes an iitem.
Game Five: Pooh's Muddy Path
----------------------------
You need to find everyone. Target lock Pooh and then go to the grassy area to find
Eeyore in it. Rabbit runs in and out of the four caves. Tigger is bouncing on the
log above. Piglet is hiding in the Tree Hollow, Owl is flying up and now near the
Tree Hollow, and Roo is on a tree branch near the grass area. When you find them
all, watch the cutscene and locking the world.
Hidden and Optional Bosses
Zurt Zisa
Location-Agrabah
How to Find-After beating Hollow Bastion, go to Alladin's house and the carpet
wants
to go to the desert. On the ride, you run into the Bandit of the Desert, Kurt Zisa.
Kurt Zisa
HP-1500
EXP-20,000
When the battle starts, Kurt Zisa casts a spell that disables all you magic
including Curaga! Attack the two orbs that KZ is holding in two of his six hands.
Watch out because he's spinning swords with the other four hands. When an orb is
destroyed, it drops lots of HP and Mp balls. Pick them up and go after the next
orb.
When both are destroyed, KZ crashes to the ground and is stunned. Attack his head.
He'll still bite you but just attack until he gets back up. You'll get your magic
back and KZ will summon a bubble around him that can only be destroyed by magic.
Summon Mushu or Dumbo and note you can't summon the same person when the process
repeats itself. KZ will send sand tornados at you. Get out of the way. When the
bubble is destroyed, KZ will crash down again. Release your summon and then attack
his head until he gets up again and the process will repeat itself. Now KZ will
spin
around vertically or horizontally. Jump over him when he spins horizontal and dodge
roll when he spins vertical. It's a very powerfull attack. Repeat this process and
you'll win.
Clock Phantom
Location-Neverland
How to Find-Get Peter into your party and talk to Tinker Bell in the cabin after
beating Hollow Bastion. She wants to go to the clock tower. Agree and you'll meet
the phantom.
Clock Phantom
HP-1200
EXP-9999
When the battle starts, cast Stopra on the clock. Then the phantom will be holding
a
colored orb. If it's red, attack with fire, if it's blue, attack with ice, if it's
yellow, use thuner and if it's white, use regular attacks. When the Stopra wears
off, a 12 will appear over one of your party memeber's heads. If this countdown to
zero they'll die and they can't be healed back at all. Cast Stopra on the clock
again and continue attacking the phantom according to the colored orb it's holding.
This number 12 will eventually reach you. So continue casting Stopra on the clock.
You get a Stop upgrade to Stopga for winning.
Ice Titan
Location-Olympus Colliseum
How to Find-Go to the top ???? on Phil's menu after beating the Hades Cup at least
once.
Ice Titan
HP-1500
EXP-5000
When he shoots small bits of ice at you, hit them back at him and he'll eveentually
be stunned. You can then attack him. Repeat this process and note that the ice you
hit back at him does more damage than you think to him.
Sephiroth
Location-Olympus Colliseum
How to Find-Go to the bottom ???? on Phil's menu after beating the Hades Cup at
least once.
Sephiroth
HP-1800
EXP-18,000
This guy is the hardest in the game. He's fast. Powerful.....and has lots of HP.
He has an invisisble HP meter so you won't see any damage until you deplete that.
Walk close to him and he'll slash you with his sword is less than a second. He also
does this fire eruption attack. When you deplete the first visisble HP meter, he'll
do a very powerful attack. He'll say "Sin Harvest" and it'll deplete all you magic
and if you don't have Second Chance on, you're dead. When he says this, go up to
attack him before he can launch the attack. A red halo will appear over you head to
tell you he has launched the attack. Use an elixer quickly before he goes in to
finish you off. When you get to his next meter, he'll do this attack similar to Ars
Arcanum. Counter with your own arcanum to hurt him. Or just stay away. When you
deplete his next meter, he'll use an attack for him to become invincible for a
while. He doesn't use Sin Harvest as much though. He'll fly in the air and send
energy at you. After you deplete the yeloow meter and only the green one remains,
he'll taunt you more than attack you. Finish him off omnce and for all and
congrats.
If you can do this fight, the others are easy to you then.
Heartless Guide
<><><><><><><><><>
Shadow
------
“Using Thunder is a good idea because these annoying little buggers like to
attack in groups. So using Thunder Magic on them will injure more of them in
one strike. These are very weak Heartless and all they can do is scratch you.
Shadows are the most common Heartless, but you don’t need to worry about them
at all.”
Heartless that emerges from various places. They sneak up to their enemies and
strike them with shard claws. They are extremely tenacious, often chasing their
prey to the end.
Soldier
-------
“Use a combo, then attack when they're down. These Heartless dance around a lot
and never stay still. If you successfully give them a combo they will be
knocked back. Run up to them and finish them of if they not defeated.
Heartless that emerges from various places. They are brisk in their movements,
and rush into their opponents. However, they are not that tenacious. They often
appear in numbers, though they lack teamwork.
Large Body
----------
“Attack them from behind, or use Magic. I hate these Heartless, They are large
and hard to get behind if you don’t have High Jump. You can also strike at
their head as well. But be careful because when they start to get low on health
they will change at you and this can be hard to dodge.”
Big round Heartless. They seem tame and laid-back, but go berserk when they are
angered. With their brute strength, they can inflict great damage, so be on
your guard.
“Attack them with Blizzard. This way you will get bonus Tech points and defeat
them in one hit.”
them in one hit.”
you should take these out before you attack the other Heartless or they will
just heal them.
Spell-casting Heartless. They heal themselves and other Heartless with Cure.
They are slow-moving, but hover high in the air and absorb most magic attacks.
Powerwild
---------
“Using Magic is good against these. The Powerwilds are fist and very agile. If
you’re too slow they will dodge your attacks and scratch you. So using Magic
will help you out a lot as well. Powerwilds like to attack in groups as well,
if you can keep them separate they are easier too fight.”
strike with combination attacks. Avoid close-range battles with them if
Magic works well on them too.”
with a sling shot. They scamper about during battle, making them difficult to
hit.
Air Soldier
-----------
“Lock-On so you don't loose them. These things will fly around you really fast
and then strike you quickly. These things will make you really mad if you can’t
hit them quick enough. Use magic or if you can see them wait for them to come
to you and then attack.”
dodge by jumping out of the way.”
defensively. Besides strong physical attacks, they can use fire, and they block
attacks against them. Their movement is their weakness.
White Mushroom Guide
---------------------
These cute heartless want you to play with them.
Follow the chart so you know what magic spell to cast on them at the right time,
 ----------------------------------------------------------
| MAGIC    |   POSE                                        |
|----------|-----------------------------------------------|
| Fire     |    When they are shivering                    |
|----------|-----------------------------------------------|
| Blizzard |    When they are fanning themselves           |
|----------|-----------------------------------------------|
| Thunder  |    When you see a dark light above their head |
|----------|-----------------------------------------------|
| Cure     |    When they are lying on the ground          |
|----------|-----------------------------------------------|
| Stop     |    When they freeze in mid air                |
|----------|-----------------------------------------------|
| Aero     |    When they spin around fast                 |
|----------|-----------------------------------------------|
| Gravity  |    When they are floating in the air          |
 ----------------------------------------------------------
When you cast the right magic on the Mushroom at the right time, you will hear
a chime and they will jump in the air with joy. Now you have to hit the
Mushroom 2 more times with magic. It can be with a different type of magic or
the same magic. If you cast the same magic onto a Mushroom 3 times in a row,
you will get an Arts. The Arts are used to get the Dream Shield for Goofy. You
can also get loads of Synthesizing Gems by helping out the White Mushrooms.
NOTE: When you are going to cast Aero or Cure onto a Mushroom, you will have to
get pretty close to them so you can pick the Target option and use it on them,
otherwise, you will cast it onto yourself.
Now for the locations of the White Mushrooms. You won’t find them straight away
but if you keep going back to that place, I’m sure you will find them soon
enough.
 ------------------------------------------
| Traverse Town    | Red Room of the Hotel |
| Wonderland       | Lotus Forest          |
| Deep Jungle      | Camp                  |
| Deep Jungle      | Tree House            |
| Agrabah          | Treasure Room         |
| Atlantica        | Undersea Cave         |
| Atlantica        | Sunken Ship           |
 ------------------------------------------
Now when you cast spells on a White Mushrooms you make them happy. But
depending on what was the last spell you cased on it, depends on what items it
will drop. Lets say that you go to the Camp of the Deep Jungle and find White
Mushrooms. The White Mushrooms here will allow you to cast Fire, Blizzard,
Thunder and Cure. Now lets look at the possibilities in a chart.
F=Fire   B=Blizzard   T=Thunder   C=Cure
 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
|F---F---F, B, T, C  | As we can see from this chart these are all the        |
|    B---F, B, T, C  | possible outcomes for the spell casting on the White   |
|    T---F, B, T, C  | Mushrooms of the Camp area at Deep Jungle. So you can  |
|    C---F, B, T, C  | change your spell for time. But the real important part|
|                    | is the last spell you cast. Depending on what you cast |
|B---F---F, B, T, C  | last, depends on different items. These items are for  |
|    B---F, B, T, C  | Synthesizing and these is the easy way to get these    |
|    T---F, B, T, C  | items. It saves having to find Heartless with the      |
|    C---F, B, T, C  | items. The chart below shows the possible items you    |
|                    | can obtain when the last spell is cast.                |
|T---F---F, B, T, C  |--------------------------------------------------------
|    B---F, B, T, C  |             -------------------------------------------
|    T---F, B, T, C  |            | FIRE: Mystery Goo  | BLIZZARD: Mystery Goo|
|    C---F, B, T, C  |            |       Blaze Shard  |           Frost Shard|
|                    |            |       Blaze Gem    |           Frost Gem  |
|C---F---F, B, T, C  |            |--------------------|----------------------|
|    B---F, B, T, C  |            | CURE: Mystery Goo  | THUNDER: Mystery Goo |
|    T---F, B, T, C  |            |       Bright Shard |          ThunderShard|
|    C---F, B, T, C  |            |       Bright Gem   |          Thunder Gem |
 --------------------             |--------------------|----------------------|
These are all the different       | AERO: Mystery Goo  | GRAVITY: Mystery Goo |
items you will get from the last  |       Spirit Shard |          Lucid Shard |
spell you cast on a White         |       Spirit Gem   |          Lucid Gem   |
Mushroom. Remember, if you want   |--------------------|-----------------------
these items, you have to make     | STOP: Mystery Goo  |
sure you cast the right spell for |       Power Shard  |
the last time. So if you wanted a |       Power Gem    |
Frost Gem, make sure you cast      --------------------
Blizzard on the THIRD TURN.
But these aren’t all the items you can get from White Mushrooms. You can get
Fire Arts, Blizzard Arts, Thunder Arts, Cure Arts, Aero Arts, Stop Arts and
Gravity Arts. To get one of these you have to cast the same spell on a White
Mushroom 3 times in a row. So cast 3 Fires to get a Fire Arts. But you will
have to look further into the game if you want to find White Mushrooms that
allow you to use Stop and Gravity
__Well, you need to cast 3 spells on it to send it away properly to get an item
(mess up once and it`ll go away with no items dropped). The magic you need to
use depends on the mushroom`s "moods" though..full list below..
Fire     = Use when it crosses its arms and looks like it is shivering.
Blizzard = Use when leans back and fans itself, or according to
CJayC, it looks like it is giving the "Bring it on" taunt.
Thunder  = Use when it has a light over its head which is casting a shadow on
its face. I believe this is to show that it`s depressed and needs some
encouraging as it looks very much like how manga characters sometimes are drawn
when depressed.
Cure     = Use when it has fallen on the ground. Note that you will need to get
pretty close to it in order for you to be able to cast on it. Normally, only
Sora/Goofy/Donald can be cast cure on, but if close to a mushroom a 4th option
named Contact(ƒRƒ“ƒ^ƒNƒg) will appear and you can use this option to cast on
the fallen mushroom.
Aero     = Use this when its spinning around. The same need to get close in
order to cast this like Cure applies.
Stop     = Use this when the mushroom has frozen in mid move.
Gravity  = Use this when the mushroom is floating in mid-air. Mind you, you
have to be quick in casting this, because the casting animation for Gravity is
long and often times will not hit the mushroom until it has changed into
another mood.
Summon   = I don`t believe there is a summon "mood" for the mushroom. I`ve
tried, but nada. Too bad. However, it IS possible to hit the mushroom with some
summons. Namely, the Mushu fire breath summon will act as a fire attack for
when the mushroom is shivering. Unfortunately, even after being hit 3 times
with Mushu, a mushroom still won`t drop items but niether will it disappear. A
bug perhaps?
Ok, so you hit mushroom with 3 spells, and it dropped an item, but not a
Mystery Goo item you needed, but  instead.
Tough,
right? Gotta find another mushroom. Well, yes and no. First there is an ultra
special catch to making it drop Mystery Goo's or rather there is and isnt't.
Here`s the deal..
If you hit the mushroom with 3 of the same spell, it will always drop a Mystery
Goo item. Always. That is, unless you are like most of the Western world and
you are playing the US release. The 100% drop rate is ONLY for the JP release
of KH. For the US release, the Mystery Goo's can still be dropped, but are
uncommon. Regardless if you get a Mystery Goo or not, if you hit with all 3 of
the same magics, a White Mushroom
will drop 1 of 7 different secret Arts items (–Æ‹–ŠF“`) dependant on which of
the 7 spells you casted. 3 x Blizzard will get a Blizaard Arts for instance.
In addition, a 3 x magic cast will also net a Gem item of the appropriate type.
As far as the Arts are concerned, these are useful in that if you collect all
7, and get all max level spells you will recieve the Shield of Dreams from
Merlin in Traverse Town if you go speak to him.
C. Where to Find White Mushrooms And Mood Patterns
---------------------------------
Below is a combined list of locations and mood locations. All Mushroom
locations normally have Fire/Thunder/Blizzard mood patterns, but only select
locations additionally have Stop/Aero/Gravity/ or Cure moods. Those locations
marked with only a (*) denotes only Fire/Thunder/Blizzard, locations that have
extra
moods will be listed along side the (*)..such as (*/Gravity). The list is
incomplete, but should be enough to find what you are looking for currently.
1. Deep Jungle - Outside of Tent (*/Cure)
2. End of the World - Room Before Last Rest Save Point
(*/Stop/Aero/Gravity/Cure)
3. Halloween Town - Graveyard (*/Aero) - This is the first section of the
Graveyard just past the gates into it.
4. Deep Jungle - Jungle Hideout - (*/Cure) This is the first area of this world
where you get attacked by and saved from a tiger.
5. Hades Cup - #7 Tier - (No Treasure Dropped)
6. Traverse Town Hotel - Red Room - (*)
7. Wonderland - Lotus Forest - (*)
8. Atlantica - Undersea Cave - (*/Stop) - Area on the way to Triton's palace,
markes with two tridents pointing into a small cave.
9. Agrabah - Treasure Room - (*/Gravity) - Cave of Wonders area, with the
mountains of gold.
10. Atlantica - The Shipwreck, Below deck - (*/Stop)
D. Final Notes on the White Mushroom
-------------------------------------
In ending the White Mushroom section, there are a few things to keep in mind
when going after them for the Mystery Goo's and Arts items. First, pick
one mushroom and stay with it spell-wise. Many of the spells will hit a large
area, and the mushrooms often spawn close together making you prematurely send
some of the mushrooms away. Don`t worry about it, center on one mushroom at a
time, otherwise the chance is high you will screw up, or you will run out of
time waiting for the mushrooms to move away from each other.
Second, not all spawn locations have the same "mood" patterns. Especially if
you are going after the Secrets Manuals, you will find that precious few places
places have Gravity/Stop "moods", while others like Fire moods are easily
found. See the listing above for mood locations (this is still incomplete but
should get you to where you are going.).
An extra note on "mood" behavior, there is a "mood" that is common to all
mushrooms that may throw off some people. This is the action where the mushroom
stops for second
(not freezes) and look around as if for rain or something before going on to a
new "mood". Any attack/magic during this time will make a White Mushroom
disappear. You can see this "mood" also in the animation used for the 3D view
of all mushrooms in the notebook, if my above explanation was unclear.
Next, make use of the respawn tricks noted in my "General Hints" section. This
will get White (and other types of) Mushrooms spawning faster. If you simply
run back
and forth between two areas you will not get any Mushroom spawns. Some spawn
points use different
spawn tricks better..i.e. End of The World and Deep Jungle - Outside the Tent
spawn points use the Gummi Ship spawn trick well, while Traverse Town Hotel -
Red Room is one of the best spots for the 2 area, leave and come back spawn
trick.
Finally, I have recieved a few unconfirmed reports about the difficulty of
finding mushrooms, post-Hallow Bastion clearing.
Apparently, as was explained to me, it is only possible to find one White
Mushroom spawn in any particular world before you need
to move onto a new world after you have cleared the Hollow Bastion (unconfirmed
but keep it in mind).
III. The Black Fungus (ƒuƒ‰ƒbƒNƒtƒ@ƒ“ƒKƒX)
=================================================================
=================================================================
A. Intro
---------
Ah, the mushroom monsters are cunningly dressed up in different color
palettees, say hello to the black-robed, purple-hatted mushroom! Unlike the
White Mushroom that we have already discussed, the Black Fungus is relatively
straight forward battle, kill it before it dissappears using any means
possible. However, also unlike the White Mushroom, since there is no special
way to take them down, the devs decided to let these mushrooms fight back in
the form of turning to stone (read invincible) as well as giving them an area
poison attack that is more powerful than many bosses normal attacks. Have fun!
B. How to Fight and Treasure
--------------------------------------------
Well, as far as a catch goes, I don`t believe there is one. Sometimes the Black
Fungus drops Mystery Goo's and sometimes it does not (most of the time it does
not actually). I have a theory that if it is beat with only physical attack
combo chains it will always drop Full
Waters. Its also been theorized to me that the key is to hit Black Fungus' with
Critical Hits to make them drop stuff. Another theory holds that you have to
hit them while jumping, and yet another that using your
limit break type skills like Strike Raid. YMMV, this is another unconfirmed
section.
Now, the Black Fungus will uncommonly drop an item named Mystery Mold
(—Ž‚Æ‚µ‚à‚́H). If there is a special way to get it to drop this item, I don`t
know, perhaps one of the above theories. Regardless, this item like the Arts
item seems useless. Its item description however says that it can be sold for a
decent price, and behold (when you get one) it can be sold for 9999 cash in
Traverse Town, making it the most sellable item in the game. Useful if you
happen to actually beat some of these guys during the midgame, but mostly
useless otherwise.
As noted above you need only to fight these things normally, but there are
a few tactics that work better than normal.
1. Use the Trinity limit, if you have it. Of the few enemies in the game, you
can actually hit a group of Black Fungi with this and kill them wholesale.
2. If you find them in Halloween Town, you will have access to exploding
pumpkins which can kill them in 1-hit.
3. Apparently if you keep your distance, but are close enough for Donald/Goofy
to target them, Donald/Goofy can attack them without fear of being poisioned or
attacked.
4. A mass area Gravity can deal with them pretty decently.
5. Use Stop magic, attack.
C. Where to Find Black Fungi
------------------------------
1. Halloween Town - Pumpkin Patch - This is the area with the twirly bridge
thing that three little kids walk over. The spawn rate isn`t so hot here, but
the Black Fungus does spawn here, and using the respawn trick for the levels
(See my "General Hints, Tips, Comments.." section at the end of this FAQ), you
can get enounters at decent enough pace.
2. End of the World -  Room Before Last Rest Save Point - Spawns all mushrooms
so it drops the chances of getting only Black Fungi. Still fairly quick.
3. Agrabah - Bazaar - This is the far right and back area accessible only via
one route. Maybe you can find
them there, I did. A little bit out of the way for the respawn trick but its
your choice.
4. Pegasus Cup - #5 Tier - Ah, the annoying battle which makes the speed battle
for this cup rather annoying at times. Again no dropped items here tho, only
practice.
5. Hallow Bastion - Dungeon (Is this the proper name for this area?)
D. Final Notes on the Black Fungus
-----------------------------------
Nothing really. There is not much to the Black Fungus. Just be careful of the
poison cloud attack, as it can be ultra deadly to a mid to lower level Sora,
and inevitably Goofy and Donald will just let themselves get killed by it
because of their lame AI.
=================================================================
=================================================================
IV. The Rare Truffle (ƒŒƒAƒgƒŠƒ…ƒt)
=================================================================
=================================================================
A. Intro
---------
Ah, the last and perhaps least understood mushroom of the bunch, weighing in
with a blue robes and a yellow hat. If you are like me, you perhaps only fought
two, during the Hercules/Hades Cup, before the the first time you beat the
game. They are that rare, unless you know where to look for them. But before I
get to that, the main focus of this truffle is the jumpy. It jumps up and down,
up and down and will dissappear over time (the same with all mushrooms). What
you need to do, as the notebook explanation in game suggests, is to keep them
in the air with "air combos", until they decide to throw down Mystery Goo on
you. But this is easier said than done, especially when I first started out to
beat one of these mofo`s down.
Bar none, for Mystery Goo's and associated extra items and experience this is
the mushroom you want to fight.
B. How to Fight and Treasure
--------------------------------------------
Like the White Mushroom, they are however, pretty easy once you know the trick,
and that trick is to bounce them up in the air over and over and over again of
which there are a few ways. First the way I first found.
UpperCut Trick-
1. When you come upon a Rare Truffle spawn, you must first lock on to one of
the Truffles with lock on, abosultely needed.
2. Watch as the Truffle jumps, when it lands, run up to it and smack it once
and only once. You notice that when you hit it, it bounces into the air,
despite the fact it was on the ground before (in fact, all attacks will bounce
it in the air, unless it lands again, at such time it will disappear and give
you no [more] items).
3. Anyway, you have just smacked the truffle in the air. What you want to do
now is wait a split second then jump after the truffle and attack it in the air
before it comes back and hits the ground.
Read this carefully, I will put it in bold letters for you. You need to JUMP
and then TAP the ATTACK BUTTON ONCE. This will have you attack with an
uppercut attack, and not the aerial spin attack (if you have that ability
equipped). If you attacked with an aerial spin, it`s because you didn`t jump
before hitting the attack button.
4. Once again, after #3, you will notice the Truffle bounce back up in the air.
Whee! This is where you repeat processes #1-3 over and over again for the
mega-combo items...jump, uppercut attack, land, wait a split second, jump,
uppercut, attack etc..
Flying Neverland Trick-
Getting a bit ahead of myself here, but you can find Black Fungus on the deck
of the ship in Neverland where you fight Hook,
and since you can fly here, you can simply fly up and keep smacking Truffles
with impunity. Some limitations apply, i.e. you have a little less control
of which way a Truffle will bounce up, and you have to watch out for running
into background scenery.
Aero Trick-
This is perhaps the easiest one, cast your version of Aero (you will need
Aerora/ga actually to have this work) and run up and touch
the Truffle. Into the air it goes. Stand under it, bounce it, recast Aero
as needed before it runs out to extend bounce sessions as needed and reap easy
rewards.
Ragnarok Trick-
Use in conjunction with the Uppercut Trick, select Raganarok and let it rip on
a Truffle. Make sure you pull off the entire combo. Good finisher, lots of
hits.
Speaking of hits, you get treasure based on how many times you hit and bounce a
Truffle..as follows..
10  times - 1 Mystery Goo + 1 Elixir
50  times - 1 Mystery Goo + 1 Elixir + Shiitake Scroll (’Bl‚̏Ø)
100 times - 1 Mystery Goo + 1 Last Elixir + Matsutake Scroll (–¼l‚̏Ø)
The scrolls items, like the other special items are again, not much worth, the
game explanation simply noting that these scrolls show
your ability in being a master of bouncing the Truffle 50 or 100 times
(sellable for 100 and 500 respectively). Perhaps not worth it, but you know
you want the honor of this victory, you know it! An interesting extra, the
scrolls (Shiitake/Matsutake) are names after actual types of Japanese
mushrooms..
clever huh?
Finally, juggling Rare Truffles nets huge amounts of experience. Where N equals
the number of times you bounced a mushroom, you gain N(N+1)/2 experience
for each juggling sessions. What that means is, for a 100 hit juggle, you will
gain 5050 experience! Easily the fastest way to level up in the game should
you get ahold of enough Rare Truffles. Combine this with fighting Rare Truffles
in the Collesieum (as well as hitting pause right before a battle ends
to redo a Rare Truffle battle) and you can make max level in less than an hour
or two:0
C. Where to Find the Rare Truffle
----------------------------------
Again in order from easiest to hardest in order to get items from it.
1. End of the World - Room Before Last Rest Save Point - Again, the save reload
or respawn trick here. Easiest place to fight the Truffles outside of the
Collieseum with the Uppercut trick.
2. Neverland - Deck of Ship - This is the area you fight Captain Hook, tho of
course you will not see Truffle`s here the first time you get there. The ship
structure makes straight up truffle fighting really not easy, but there is
always the
option of flying for a real air combo as per the above trick. Spawn rates are
seemingly good.
3. Halloween Town - Area Right Before Boogie`s House - This is the area with
the short bridge and the water passage which leads back to the fountain in
Guillotine Sqaure. Spawn rates seem very small, but its possible to find Rare
Truffles here. Geography can make fighting here easy or hard. Easy because you
can trap Truffles in the corners of the sewer area where the spawn. Hard
because the
camera can go crazy in those areas. Note, if you hit a Truffle onto a slope,
and it slides
down and you hit it before it hits the water it DOES NOT count as the Truffle
touching
land and disappearing.
4. Hercules Cup - #6 Tier - I highly recommend beating the time attack for this
cup so you can freely select to battle Truffles here. Of course no dropped
items, but practicing here is mad exp and is good for training for the Uppercut
Trick.
5. Hades Cup - #46 Tier - You can fight this one fairly easily without having
to do time attacks to get the selectable battle option. But really, if you have
the Hades Cup open, the Hercules time attack should be doable.
6. Monstro - Throat - They appear here, in the area before the Monstro main
fight.
D. Final Notes on the Rare Truffle
-----------------------------------
This is the Truffle that once you got your jump then attack rythym
down (assuming using the Uppercut Trick), you will have the Mystery Goo's
rolling in. I was fighting them once and checked how many I had, and my count
was at 22! Enough to make enough
Attack Point items to max out Sora`s attack level at
100;p During a typical fight don`t expect to get much more than 4-6 Mystery
Goo's however, as getting the 100 combo limit takes some time, and you only
have
enough time to combo two Truffles up to 100 before the others dissappear (this
is assuming no mistakes on your part, and not accidently hitting other Truffles
as you combo the Truffle you have locked onto..a fairly common occurence. But
as with White Mushrooms, centering one mushroom at a time is important for
success). Still, it`s much faster than beating up other mushroom Heartlesses.
Third, a note on combo`ing the Truffles. You can bounce them fairly high, but
you don`t really want them flying too high, which is what happens when you hit
them offscreen (the uppercut attack, especialy with the longer keyblades has an
insane vertical attack range from somewhere at Sora`s knees to 2 body lengths
above him and can easily hit off screen Truffles). Now, The auto-tracking for
attacks (not the camera strangely enough) in game is superb and will often
track things way over your head in battle, but its still possible to lose
Truffles you bounce too high. So when you combo a Truffle, make sure he is on
screen when you hit him. Don`t worry, you will hit a Truffle if you let him
drop in altitude before you swing, as Sora`s uppecut hits a larger area than
you may think (as written above). Less of a problem if you are flying in
Neverland, and less if you are using the Aero trick. Something that will likely
happen if you use Ragnarok though.
Last, you may want to pre-kit your character ability-wise for fighting Rare
Truffles if you expect an encounter. Namely, un-euipping the Glide party
ability helps (Fast Glide is ok, but the normal Glide is bound to the jump
button tho). Also, un-equipping the Aerial-Sweep ability from Sora`s list can
help as you will want to be hitting with an upper-cut, not an aerial spin
anyway. This
assuming Uppercut again, for all the other tricks no kitting is really
nessecary.
V. General Hints, Tips, Comments..
=================================================================
=================================================================
Ok, this is the section for general hints/tips applicable to finding/beating
all of the mushroom Heartless.
-All of the mushroom Heartless are timed battles. If you take too long they
will dissappear. Doesn`t usually happen with Black Fungus, but is something you
will happen with White Mushroom hunting a lot.
-White Mushrooms and Rare Truffles will, 100% chance, dissappear without
dropped items if you don`t use the proper attacks.
-You may want to summon something when fighting some mushroom (especially White
Mushrooms). Reason being, Donald and Goofy will often do a superb job of
blocking your view on whats going on, and thus aught to be removed. At decent
level, a single summon will last you long enough to take out 1-2 mushrooms.
Recommendations go to Mushu (white mushrooms) or Bambi.
-In order to help spawn some mushrooms in the world areas, realize that once
you beat completely beat a battle in one small area of the game (i.e. outside
the tent area in the Deep Jungle world), a new battle will not respawn until
you run 2 areas away from area you want respawned with new monsters. So in the
tent area case, running to the first bamboo forest area and back will not
respawn the monsters at the tent, but running to the area where you fight
Clayton and back will. An easy way to get new monsters. Also an easy way to
level up in certain places of the game which allow you to run in circular
patterns, thus constantly spawning monsters.
The only area in the game where this works differently is at the the room
before the last save at End of The World. This room will ALWAYS spawn new
monsters, whether you ran 1 or 2 areas away from it.
-The End of the World room before the last save is most easily taken advantage
of spawn-wise for mushrooms by first saving the game at last save. Then run
into the room before this. If the desired mushrooms aren`t there, simply reset
with the quick reset option. This is NOT the reset button on the PS2, rather
push and hold START + SELECT + R1 + R2 + L1 + L2. This will take you straight
to the New
Game/Load Game screen. For some reason, tho you can use the area respawn trick
for this room, reloading over and over again is almost always quicker. I
believe there is something in the coding for how the game parcels out mushrooms
encounters, in that it gives a higher chance of a mushroom encounter if you
have just arrived at the world, and not if you have been actively looking for
mushroom encounters.
-Alternately, for Mushroom Spawn points that are close to save points, you can
respawn monster areas without fighting by checking out and area, leaving,
riding your Gummi Ship then
re-entering the world with the spawn point you are trying to hit up for world
areas like End of the World, or
the Deep Jungle White Mushroom spawn point.
-There is seems to be alot of random chance in finding a mushroom encounter.
Knowing this will help you tear out less hair.
-Finally, if you do end up fighting for mushrooms at the End of the World alot.
Be aware that mushrooms aren`t the only special items you can collect there.
The devil and angel monsters which spawn the most at End of the World will
infrequently give out Orichalcum (ƒIƒŠƒnƒ‹ƒRƒ“) and Mythril (ƒ~ƒXƒŠƒ‹) in
addition to their normally dropped Gale(‚r‚ê‚é‚©‚º). So doing the normal
respawn fighting while looking for mushroom spawns may make
sense, if you are keen on maxing out your level/attack/defense/AP parameters,
rather than relying on the quicker save/reload trick for mushroom only
encounters.
Black Fungus Guide
------------------
These Mushrooms will attack you if you get into a fight with one. The only way
you are going to get anything off of them is by fighting them and defeating
them. They will attack you with their Poison Spores. Then they will become
invincible with they turn gray. Don't worry; they do turn back to normal. They
will drop some really rare items, but remember not all of them will drop
things.
Now for the locations of the Black Fungus. You won’t find them straight away
but if you keep going back to that place, I’m sure you will find them soon
enough.
Rare Truffle Guide
------------------
They aren't called Rare for nothing. When you encounter these Mushrooms they
will be jumping all over the place. What you have to do for these Mushrooms is
you have to keep them in the air. Pretend it's like keeping a tennis ball in
the air with your racket. You have to keep hitting it up so it doesn't touch
the ground. So instead of a racket, you have to keep them up with your
Keyblade. This can be a little tricky. But locking-on to them and attacking at
the right time will work wonders. You can also cast Aero on yourself and make
them land on you as well.
Now for the locations of the Rare Truffle. You won’t find them straight away
but if you keep going back to that place, I’m sure you will find them soon
enough.
Gummi Ship Guide
----------------
When you are at the Worlds Screen press the Square Button to go into the Gummi
Garage. Chip and Dale will tell you a tutorial on how to do things. Read it and
try to remember as much of it as you can. Then when it's over select Garage and
then either pick a pre-made Blueprint. Or pick a fresh new one.
Now you will be at a screen where you can see the Gummi Ship close up with a
blue background. Now read below for the controls to use in this area. Trust me,
trying to figure this out on your own is a pain in the butt. There are 3
different modes here. Select Mode is when you have a Gummi Block highlighted
and you can switch between other Gummies. Build Mode is when you have chosen a
Gummi Block and it is on the screen ready to be placed on the ship. Inspect
Mode is when you have completed your ship and you would like a better look at,
look at its status and see if it is flyable.
5)    The Abilities, Part 2 (Combat Abilities)
These are, arguably, the most useful abilities in the game. They help
in combat immensely, and can make all the difference in a difficult
boss battle. Also, Sora is the only one that can learn these abilities.
Ability: Dodge Roll
AP Cost: 1
Effect: Press Square to roll forward, avoiding most enemy attacks aimed
at Sora. If Guard is equipped as well, Sora will only roll if Square is
pressed when Sora is moving.
Ability: Counterattack
AP Cost: 2
Effect: When an attack is blocked or parried, you can quickly tap X to
spin at the enemy for a counterattack that can be linked into a combo.
If your counterattack misses or you fail to follow it up, you will need
to watch it because the recovery time is slow. Useful against melee
enemies, such as the Bandits of Agrabah or the Pirates of Neverland.
Ability: Sonic Blade
AP Cost: 3
Effect: When near or somewhat near an enemy on the ground, Sonic will
appear in the last box. When selected, Sora will rush forward and the
arrow in the command boxes will move to the first box, which now says
Rave. When Rave is pressed, Sora will do a follow-up slash. When Rave
appears again and is pressed, Sora will follow-up again. You can
continue to do this until the command becomes Blast. If pressed, Sora
will follow through with a powerful charging slash. This attack also
Stuns, if the enemies survive. MP Cost: 2
Effect: When close to a ground enemy, Arcanum will appear in the last
box. When selected, Sora will go into a flurry of attacks. After the
main attacks are finished, Bash will appear. After pressing it for a
total of six or seven follow up attacks, Finis will appear. If selected
properly, Sora will end this awesome combo with a big ending slash. MP
Ability: Trinity Limit
AP Cost: 5
Effect: When close to an enemy, the Trinity command will appear in the
last box. I'm not sure how to trigger Trinity if other abilities are
equipped. If selected, Sora will go into an impressive series of flips
and eventually plants his Keyblade into the ground and summons a huge
energy wave, crushing all enemies in the room. The more MP you have
remaining, the stronger the attack. With seven or eight MP, you'll
reduce Bosses' Health by whole bars at a time. Despite its' awesome
power, it takes all MP and really isn't too reliable because of that.
MP Cost: All MP (Sora and Friends) and requires at least 3 MP.
8)    Sora's Cheer Ability
To get Sora's Cheer Ability, you must romp around in The Hundred Acre
Woods. You have to fulfill certain requirements in the mini-games.
Pooh's Hunny Tree- MORE than 100 licks (100 won't cut it)
To do this, stay where Sora starts. When bees appear, target them and
wait. When they comes near, tap X once. Do not move the left analog
stick. If done right, Sora will jump, slash the bees, and the force of
the attack on the bees will cause Sora to pop up again onto the same
branch or he will jump automatically onto another. Every group of bees
you swat earns you five to ten licks, while Pooh is safe stuffing his
face behind you. Not too hard.
My Record List:
1.	298 Licks
2.	287 Licks
3.	256 Licks
4.	255 Licks
5.	243 Licks
Block Tigger!- At least 150 points
This is rather difficult. If rush appears, use it, but don't depend on
it. After each block, return to the middle of the two rows to stop him
easier. Run manually to him, and use rush if able, but it didn't help
me much.
My Record List:
1.	270 Points
2.	240 Points
3.	210 Points
4.	195 Points
5.	182 Points
Pooh Swing- At least 40 yards
To get him past 40, just press R1 when Owl lowers his wings. When he
LOWERS them. You should press R1 when they almost come down to his
sides. This isn't too hard to do.
Tigger's Giant Pot- Less than 30 seconds
The higher you are when you hit the nut, the better. Longer Keyblades
are good here! Pumpkinhead and Metal Chocobo are good to use. Before
the nut comes out, move to the back of the stump, so you have some room
for error. When the nut flies out, target it, jump, and slash it when
it's as high as possible. Repeat. The first nut is usually worth seven
points at most, and the next can be worth almost anything.
My Record List:
1.	0'9"16
2.	0'10"56
3.	0'10"72
4.	0'11"13
5. 0'13"34
Pooh's Friend Hunt: Less than five minutes
This is the simplest one of all. First, run around the bush to a tree
root where Roo is jumping on top. Hit the root a few times to make Roo
jump off. Speak to him. Then run under the log to the three holes and
talk to Rabbit when he comes outta one of them. Then jump over the well
to float upwards and stand on the end of the log. When Tigger jumps
near you, talk to him to send him to the bush. Now go back to where you
spoke to Tigger and walk across the log. Jump onto the next level and
walk across this level and wait near the shrubbery on the other side of
the tree. Owl will land eventually and you can talk to him. Now comes
the semi-tricky part. Lock onto Pooh and lead him to the blue flowers.
He will float up. Then jump up onto the well to rise to his level. Then
target the inside of the log and fire the cobwebs inside. Then target
the beehive above the log and fire that down too. Walk across the log
and lock on to Pooh, who will walk through the log. Walk to the next
set of blue flowers to float Pooh up. Then jump to his level. Lock onto
his and lead him to the hole in the tree. Piglet will talk to Pooh and
then appear on the bottom level. Jump down and talk to him, ending the
mini-game.
