                           2. Intro(intr)

After you start the game and set up everything for the first time, you hit new game
(right?) After that, a screen comes up and you see a barren wasteland and the
words "Dream World." This is your very first mission. You start with all the weapons
you can ever hope to get in the game, Sting, your trusty walking stick, and the
rocks.(or stones.)Fight well, young grasshopper, and may the Force be with you! Just
kidding.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                     3. The Friends of Bilbo Baggins (tfbb)

This section will tell who or what Bilbo's friends are. After their name, there will
be a short (normally) physical discription on them, and then the stats. Here's what
they'll look like:

                      Breed:
                      Attack Power:
                      Helpfulness Factor:(or HF)

The the HF tells how much the character helps Bilbo on his adventure through Middle
Earth. The last two things are out of ten.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                            4. Gandalf the Grey (tgtg)

Gandalf is one of the most wanted characters in the game, considering his magical
prowess. He plays a key role in many, many missions, including Flies and Spiders,
and The Clouds Burst. He is usually clothed in a grey cloak, has a grey hat, and a
wooden staff that he uses to channel his magic.

Breed: Wizard

Attack Power: 10

Helpfulness Factor: 7

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                              5. Lianna, the Wood Elf (ltwe)

Lianna is the only wood elf that a)knows you, and b) is your friend. You find and
help her in the Troll Hole mission, and see her two times after that, in Barrels Out
of Bond, and the near the end of The Clouds Burst. In the last mission stated, she
has to take on a whole leigon of Goblin troops. If you ever get to that part, stick
around with your Ring on, and you will get 2 suprises. One is that SHE KICKS @$$!
She can fight better than you can. Honestly. The second thing is that she , when she
kills the goblin troops, you get free Courage points! Cool! She is an invaluable
part of your mission.

Breed: Wood Elves

                             6a. Dwalin, the Dwarf (tdtd)

Dwalin is one of the 13 dwarves. He is Balin's brother, interestingly enough. A good
way to tell if they're related is to see if their names rhyme. Except for Bombur,
Bifur and Bofur, this rule applies. He has grey hair, and is not overwhelmingly
helpful.

Breed: Dwarf
Attack Power: n\a
Helpfulness Factor: 4
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                             6b. Balin, the Dwarf (tbtd)

Balin is another one of the dwarves. He plays a small role in the game, but without
him, I don't know what would happen. (I really don't!!'_') He has a scarlet hood and
a white beard, and looks very old, according to Bilbo. (I'll abrieviate BB, for
Bilbo Baggins.)

Breed: Dwarf
Attack Power: n\a
Helpfulness Factor: 4
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                            6c. Kili, the Dwarf (tktd)

Kili is one of the youngest of the dwarves, as dwarves go. He has a blue cloak and a
brown beard. His twin is Fili.

Breed: Dwarf
Attack Power: 3 (In the book, he dies. U_U [he's sad!])
Helpfulness Factor: 4
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                                6d. Fili, the dwarf (tftd)

Like his sibling, Fili also owns a blue cloak. Unfortunately, he also takes on after
his brother in the fact that he also KIC (Killed In Combat).

Breed: Dwarf
Attack Power: 3(In the book, he dies. U_U)
Helpfulness Factor: 4
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                             6e. Dori, the Dwarf (ddtd)

There isn't a lot to say about Dori. He has a funny name, owns a purple cloak, and
is Nori's brother, and I think he's related to Ori. Yup, I think that's it.

Breed: Dwarf
Attack Power: n\a
Helpfulness Factor: 4
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                            6f. Nori, the Dwarf (tntd)

Like Dori, he owns a purple cloak. He also survived the Battle of the Five Armies.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                              6g. Ori, the Dwarf (ottd)

I do believe that Ori, Dori, and Nori are all related. He owns a grey cloak. The
reason that I don't write too much stuff about the Dwarves is that there isn't much
to say.

Attack Power: n\a

                               6h. Oin, the Dwarf (totd)

Oin and Gloin are related, I think. He owns a brown hood.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                               6i. Glion, the Dwarf (tgtd)

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! One of my favorite Dwarves. But who's reading this
to listen to my opinion?? Huh? Huh? Anyway, he might be related to Oin, but don't
quote me on that. He owns a white hood. He also appears Lord of the Rings: The
Fellowship of the Ring, at the feast at the House of Elrond, in an Elf valley, which
I cant remember the name of.

Attack Power: n\a

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                                 6j. Bifur, the Dwarf (titd)

Bifur is another one of the cool dwarves. He is the expert on the bellows, and large
ones they are. Bellows are- do you know what a forge is first? I'll explain that
first. A forge is a place where a blacksmith(or any other type of smith)works the
metal or whatever. Bellows include a furnace and a cooler. Bifur owns a yellow cloak.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                               6k. Bombur, the Dwarf (tmtd)

BOMBUR IS FFFAAATTT!!! ^_^. There! I got it out of me. Never mind what I said
before, but when you get into the Lonely Mountains, you'll find him in the Gear
Room. After you help out there, he say in a Scottish/Irish/British accent "Ohhhh,
the Kingdom under the Mountain is comim' alive again!" He has a green cloak.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                            6l. Bofur, the Dwarf (tftd)

Bofur is one of Bombur's cousins. The other one is Bifur. Bofur owns a yellow cloak.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6m. Thorin Oakenshield, the Dwarf (todt)

Thorin is one of my favorite Dwarves. He is the leader of the expitition to Erebor.
(That's where Smaug the Dragon is!) If I have to say one thing about Thorin, it's
that he really takes advantage of Bilbo. But who's here to listen about my petition
on Hobbit Rights? Nobody? I thought so. Unfortunately, after the Battle of Five
Armies, he doesn't get to rule the land he fought and died for. Ooops! Did I give
away the ending? Sorry. But thats what happens. For the most part, he's a nice old
Dwarf.

Breed: Dwarf
Attack Power: n\a
Helpfulness Factor: 8.65
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                    7. Bard, the Archer of Lake-Town (bard)

OI. Bard is some hot stuff. Why do you say that, you ask, and I say thats because he
killed the dragon Smaug. Now, who is Smaug? I'll get to him later. much later. So go
back to the top of the FAQ, and find his letter combo like type: (bard) to get to
Bards section. That's if you want to find out about him sooner. I'm probably going
to have to do a part two to this. Back to Bard. In the game, BB (Bilbo Baggins)
gives the Arkenstone to him.

Breed: Lake-Town Man
Attack Power: 10
Helpfulness Factor: 10
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                            8. Beorn, the Skin Changer (btsc)

Beorn is a very helpful ally, and a fear instilling foe. That's because he is a
shape shifter. He can become ANYTHING he wants to be.

Breed: I really don't know this. If you think you do, E-mail me.
Attack Power: 10
Helpfulness Factor: 10
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                            9. Maloc, the retired Thief (mtrt)

Maloc doesn't play a huge role in the game except helping you find the thief's
hideout. Other than that, he's useless.

Breed: Lake-Town Man
Attack Power: 1.5
Helpfulness Factor: 3
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                             10. Corwin, the Lake-Town Man (cltm)

Corwin has a special place in Bilbo's heart. He finds him deserted in a ravaged
camp. He has lost his brother and friends. He's the only survivor.

Breed: Lake-Town Man
Attack Power: 6 1/2
Helpfulness Factor: 8
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                                    11. Stuff (stuf)

This concludes the Friends section of my FAQ. If you want to see the Foes part,
which is part 2. You get to it at the The Hobbit's FAQ screen. Part 2 will probably
be done by the time you see this part. See Ya! ^_^
