Version 1.0 Notes The FAQ in its current form only addresses the "Team Setup" menu and a few frequently asked questions. The primary purpose is to give a near-complete list of all the characters, mobile suits, weapons, and supplies available at the end of the game. TEAM SETUP ==================== Notes: This section is divided into four sections: Midnight Fenrir (Zeon Mobile Suits), Secret Zeon Characters, Secret Federation Characters, and Midnight Fenrir (Federation Mobile Suits). The pilots and their mobile suits are listed in the order that the game lists them. The Federation mobile suits for the Midnight Fenrir pilots are also kept seperate from the Zeon ones because the game considers them as being seperate characters. The format for the list is as follows: ---------- (Pilot Name) ---------- MS: (Name of MS) (Description of MS) MS #: (Number of Mobile Suits allowed per team) Weapons: (Name of Weapon)(Description of Weapon) Shield: (Type of Shield used by Mobile Suit if available) Proximity: (Close Combat Weapon used by Mobile Suit if available) Supply Slots: (Number of slots available to equip Supplies) Upgrade Gear: (1st Type of Supplies. This type of gear upgrades certain Mobile Suit functions) Combat Gear: (2nd Type of Supplies. Frequently Asked Questions ==================== ----- Q. How do I get Char? A. Complete Simulation Mission 1 with an S Rank and then complete the game. ----- Q. What is special about Char in this game? A. Primary Weapon attacks will almost always miss Char. This includes any of the main weapon types: Machine Guns, Rifles, Bazookas, Missle Launchers, and Beam Weapons. However, Secondary Weapons/Combat Gear such as Cannons, Grenades, and Heat Rods can still hit Char. Other special characters seem to be able to hit Char with Primary Weapons though (examples I have seen so far have been Amuro and Ramba Ral). ----- Q. How do I get Garma? A. Complete Simulation Mission 1 with an A or S Rank (preferably S) and then complete the game. ----- Q. How do I get Sayla? A. Receive 3 "C" or below grades on the Federation Simulation Missions (27-33). My suggested way to do this is to select Roberto and Austin for two of your teams with 3 mobile suits per team. Force these two teams to be destroyed to create a large penalty, and then complete the mission while maximizing your red kills. ----- Q. How do I complete Mission 6? A. To actually finish the mission, you must collect data on the White Base which is located on the upper left of the map. Target the bridge with your primary weapon (preferably a rifle or bazooka with their longer range), and the data will be acquired and the mission will end. I will leave it up to you to find out how to get an S rank though ^^ (I am not turning this faq into a walkthrough). ----- Q. How do I complete Mission 12 Round 2? A. My suggested way is to take Sandra and her Dom Tropen straight south. Run across the bridge, stun the first two GMs with a Beamspray and take them out. Stun the next group of GMs and the Guncannon with another Beamspray or two and destroy them. Continue on south past the next bridge (might wanna turn on Thermal Sensors) and find RX-78-6 in the trees, stun it with a Beamspray, destroy it, and the mission is over. ----- ==================== SPECIAL THANKS ==================== Thanks to Silvin for all the help with the creation of this FAQ.
