CheatCodes.com Weekly Cheat Sheet
Weekly Newsletter for Dec 28, 2006

Ho Ho Ho! Win Win Win!
So we gave away an Xbox 360, a PlayStation 3, and a Nintendo Wii last month. But that wasn't enough. Here are the winners of three more systems for December: Julietta M. from Plano, TX won an Xbox 360, Kyle H. from Vacaville, California won a Nintendo Wii, and Paul S. from Jacksonville, Florida won a PlayStation 3. Congratulations to all three of our December winners! If you didn't win, that's OK. We've got lots more giveaways planned for 2007. Remember, all CheatCodes.com Members who subscribe to our Weekly Cheat Sheet are already entered to win!

Nintendo Wii: Fad or Revolution?
We've got a minor dispute brewing here at the CheatCodes.com offices concerning the Nintendo Wii. My brother Harlyn (who manages all the site's cheat content) thinks that the Wii's movement-based control system and interface are a fad, and that "real gamers" want to sit on a couch and push buttons. Personally, I disagree. I happen to think that the Wii is revolutionary, and opens up gaming to a completely untapped market of people who want to play games in an entirely new way. Santa happened to leave a Wii under my Christmas tree this year (actually, he set it up in front of the basement TV, ready to play on Christmas morning). I have two daughters, aged 5 and 9. They spent two days straight doing pretty much nothing other than playing Wii Sports. Within half an hour of turning on the system for the first time, my 5-year-old could navigate the interface, choose options, and (much to the displeasure of my 9-year-old) beat her older sister at bowling. OK, I admit it. She can beat me at bowling. And if a new system can open gaming to a 5-year-old girl, it certainly qualifies as revolutionary in my book. Tell us what you think about the Wii!
