Like earlier Incredible Machine games, this fourth edition in the series challenges players to build elaborate and complicated machines to perform relatively mundane tasks. Reminiscent of the works of cartoonist Rube Goldberg or the classic action board game Mouse Trap, the player is given a supply of pulleys, levers, and other mismatched equipment and challenged to fashion a contraption which will accomplish an unlikely task.
