Drag Racing Warming Up Tires
When you enter the drag race and it says prepare to warm up your tires hold down the x button until you see the flow meter reach the green area on the right of your screen. Once in the green area let go of the x button until your flow meter drops to 0, then hit the x button again until it reaches the green area. Continue to do this until the race starts. This wil always result in you having great traction for optimum starts.

Easy Drag Races
When your in a drag race, start the race and once you get to the 3rd shift, just hit the NOS button. Keep on shifting and if you look back you'll hardly be able to see the car behind you.

Easy Money
There are a few steps to this cheat and it may take a while. Step 1: When or If you start playing the game go to "Code Entry" and punch in UNLOCKALLTHINGS, once you have done this you will unlock the full career map and all the cars. Step 2: Once you have unlocked everything go to an even and start it. Once you're in the event screen, don't start to race just yet, exit out and go to your GARAGE, when in the garage, you will have about 4 cars, one for each racing style. Step 3: While in the garage you can sell those car which will run up to about 15k to 40k. Once you have sold the extra cars, save your game. Step 4: Once you have sold all the extra cars and saved the game, RESTART your PS2. (Doing this will not erase anything, cars, game data, or money. It will only reset the map back to its original state from which you started at. Step 5: Final Step. Once you have done step 4, repeat steps 1-4. Doing these steps will get you a lot of money. (In my case I'm up to about 450k. ).

How To Get More Money
Without using the unlock al lthings cheatcode, go to the 2nd raceday in Noise Bomb. Choose either (1-4) of the markers when you have won. Choose marker #5 when you dominated the event. Then you will get a free car marker. Buy the Zonda with the marker sell it and you will get at least 325,000 dollars or more.

Easy Drag Races & Wheelie Competition Info.
For the Drag races, get a Shelby GT 500. It can do 1/4 mile race in 8 seconds flat. Also, in wheelie competitions, when you start off, the GT will stay in the air for about a few seconds then start to drop. When it starts to drop, hit your NOS and hit the shifts right and you'll drop at about nearly or more than 1,000 ft.

Easy Way To Beat Tier 1 Of Ryo (Showdown King)
For your speed races (also grip races in tier 2), use the Ford GT. Make sure you upgrade it cause you'll need it. For the Drag races, use the Shelby GT 500. It can dominate him.

Faster E.T.s
Feather the throttle in the very beginning when you are warming up the tires. Keep the rpms in the green zone. Once the race starts let the car idle and do not touch the throttle. When the third amber light turns on, shift into first gear. When the green light comes on nail the throttle and shift normally. If your good enough hit nos in 2nd. Also use the supra upgraded into the third or fourth upgrades and it will run mid 6's. No joke.
