Driving To Win

If you decide to approach this game from an even keel standpoint, that is to say you don't care to utilize the cheat codes to pump up the power of your vehicle, and you want to start at the beginning and work your way up then there are two important factors to take into account. First: Purchase the BMW car #15 (don't ask me why but this car handles better than all of the other vehicles) Second: Use the gears! It is possable in this game to never apply the brakes if you utilize the correct gear for the correct corner. Say for example you slow to 70mph in 4th gear but you keep sliding off the track chances are that that same corner can be successfully negociated at almost 100 mph in 3rd gear. If you want a quick tutorial on which gears to use, and where, pit your car, and transfer to the computer driver. Then observe which gears the game uses by default for any given corner. The computer drivers never apply full accelleration as you or would, but the gears they use for the corners can be used successfully at full throttle.
