To defeat him, (you have to face him in robo ko) play as Clunk. Then keep on using the cyclo reduction move. You should be able to defeat him. If you do defeat him, you complete the game.

You can also get the critic a teddy bear by going to the "Test Your Strenght" side game. *Sometimes you have to play the game a few times before you can get the teddy bear as your prize.
