Hints

Impossible Air And Landing

This is not a trick that will get you any points, but it is certainly amusing to do. To do this weird stunt, you must go to the Phoenix Downhill Jam. Have the Slow Motion Cheat on for full effect (Pause the game, then press down, down, c- up, c-right, left. The pause screen will shake upon correct entry). Skate down to where the half pipe is. Skate up to the lip of the LEFT side, and ride right on the edge until you reach the end, then jump. Your character will have been skating at an impossible, almost horrizontal angle and will fly through the air like so. Then, you character will actually LAND, even though they were on their side. I do not know that the Downhill Jam is the only place you can do this, I haven't tried elswhere, but if you want to, see if you can!

The1080

First, do a really good trick to make sure your special bar is full. Then get speed and go up a ramp and press Right, Down, Right-C. After you press it and your still in the air hold right or left and you will do the 1080. NOTE: You have to be Tony Hawk.

Officer Dick

Get all 30 tapes with any character.

Lots Of Points Without Cheats!

Go to the Warehouse with a player with a flip and special grind. Go down the right entrance and turn to the right. Do a trick to get enough special points. Then jump of the ramp and do a backflip/frontflip through the secret room, land on the short rail, then jump onto the top of the quartor pipe and keep grinding. Jump up and do a special grind all around til you get to the place where you do transfers. Jump off doing a trick. I got 114,579 points just for that. And that's a trick using no codes.

Do A 1440 At The Down Hill Jam

Make your way to where the half pipe is located in the level. Then, ollie onto the top on the RIGHT side, then grind down the long rail. You will see a gap when reach the other side, go across it and try and ollie up onto the platform right in front of you. Do an Ollie or a fastplant and hold down the R button until you hit the ground. If done right you will have done a 1440.

Faster Spins

When you spin, press 'R' or 'L' to go faster.

360, 540, 720, Or 900 Backflip/Frontflip

To do this trick, you have to be some one who does a backflip or frontflip. Now go to a good halfpipe, like Roswell's halfpipe. Do 2 or 3 setup to get high. Now do the backflip/frontflip buttons (up, down, c-right or down, up, c-right.) When you're flip push the control stick left or right. Spin as much as possible and land!!!

Do A 1440 At The Warehouse

Go to Warehouse Woodland Hills pick Private Carrera and turn on slow motion. Go down the right side of the starting ramp. Jump over the pipe, spin left or right with L/R and land.

Mega 900

When you are Tony Hawk, do his 900 with the control pad (Right, Down, Right-C)and hold down left or right with the joystick. This will make him do either a 2000, or a 360 but it won't add on or take off any points. You can also do this with his Kickflip Mctwist!

Mega Points

Go to the Roswell stage. Go into the secret room with the bowl. Grind around it and jump over the gap and keep grinding. I got 3 million points doing that!

Special Trick Tutorial

Get all three gold metals for that character, then go to trick tutorial in extras, and it will show all that character's special moves.

View Skater's Special Moves

Use any character to get the gold in all three competitions. Then, select the "Trick Tutorial" option on the extras menu to view that skater's special moves.

Cheats

Kickflip McTwist

Have full special. Push Right, Right, C-right.

Add Restart Points

In career mode pause the game and HOLD L and press C-Left, C-Right, C-Down, Up, Down. The screen will shake upon correct code entry.

Fast Specials

Pause the game, then hold L and press C-Up, Left, C-Down(2), Up, Down, Right. If you entered the code correctly, the pause screen will shake.

Raise Stats To 10

Pause the game, then hold L and press C-Up, C-Left, Left, Up, C-Down. If you entered the code correctly, the pause screen will shake.

Raise Stats To 13

Pause the game, then hold L and press C-Up, C-Left, Left, Up, Down. If you entered the code correctly, the pause screen will shake.

Slow-motion Mode

Pause the game, then hold L and press Down(2), C-Up, C-Right, Left. If you entered the code correctly, the pause screen will shake.

Turbo Mode

Pause the game, then hold L and press Right, Up, Down(2), Up, Down. If you entered the code correctly, the pause screen will shake.

Random Starting Locations

Pause the game, then hold L and press C-Left, C-Right, C-Down, Up, Down. If you entered the code correctly, the pause screen will shake.

Girl's Picture

Pause the game, then hold L and press C-Left, C-Down, C-Right, C-Left, C-Down, C-Right(2). If you entered the code correctly, the pause screen will shake, and a picture of a girl will appear.

Play As Private Carrera

Start a game in any mode with Officer Dick. Pause the game, then hold L1 and press C-Left, C-Down, C-Right, C-Down, Up, Right, Left. The screen will not shake. Exit the game and return to the character selection screen. Private Carrera will appear in place of Officer Dick. This character has full stats and great specials.
