Spectacular Crash
Go to RaceDay and pick a really fast car. Race at a Nevada Highway Speed Challenge under split screen. At the right moment, drive off the road. Your car should get huge air and perform several flips but will not be totaled (if done correctly.)

Get $100,000 buy a Ford Shelby gt500 and buy all upgrade you can for it.

King Car Suggestions
Drag: Pagani Zonda F (expensive but worth it! ) Drift:Mazda RX-7 Grip: Nissan GT-R Proto Speed: Anything that goes at least 175mph and handles well.

How To Get More Money
With out using the unlockallthings cheatcode, just go to the 2nd race day in Noise Bomb, get the 5th marker WHEN you dominated the event (it has a free car marker), and then buy the zonda F and sell and get 325000+ dollars.

How To Beat Ryo
In order to beat him you need these cars: Drag-Viper, Charger, or Camaro. Grip-Evo 5, Evo 9, BMW M3 E46, or Nissan Skyline R34. Speed-Zonda F (Not that much)or Ford Mustang. Drift-350Z, RX-7, or Nissan Silva. (The cars I used where most of them except the-350Z, Zonda F, Nissan Silva, and sometimes the BMW M3 E46.
