Speed Boast (Daytime) with Gamecube Controller
To get a speed boast with the GameCube controller, you must price the Y button between 1 and Go of a daytime stage.

Temple Doors
If you get enough sun and moon medals go to any gaia on the map if you see the sun and the moon glowing go to it and press b and the door will happen go inside and it will a bunch of stuff in it and map you have to get the green items using the items in the room if you get everything you should hear a sound and see a yellow box at the top right of your screen that says congratulations you have collected everything in this area. If you go to a door that doesn't open chip will tell you how many sun and moon medals to get.

Easy Way To Defeat Dark Gaia (part One)
The easiest way to kill in the monster your in is to only attack (with the nunchuck in your right hand) right when he starts to attack you. And when he tries to grab you, attack by shaking both the remote and nunchuck. Rest assured, it works fast and easy if you do it right.

Defeating Dark Gaia (part Two)
The next part is a little harder. Collect as many rings as you can, then use the boost. But be careful because there are a lot of obstacles that will deplete your rings so avoid them. Once you get to the end of each run, you will have to press a certain button combination that appears on the screen. If you get it wrong, you're screwed and it is a pain in the ass to restart. Once you hit all three eyes, a cutscene will show and you become super sonic.
