While in the desert or any battle area search everything like a dead tree or a rock you will more than likely find 10 gold. Search dead trees the most they have good things in them.

Beating First Mad Eye Fast
Before you go too far in the game you must do this: Change Shu to Black Magic, Jiro to Black Magic, Kluke to Black Magic and Marumaro to Barrier Magic. In the game one of your missions will be to go back to Talta Village sometime. Do that and go to the Inn. There will be an old man in front of the Inn. Talk to him. Then he will transform into a Mad Eye, that will summon skeletons three times (Endless Summon, Summon More and Final Summon). Use Water or Watera (if you have it) until you have defeated the three skeletons after his Final Summon. When the last skeleton is gone, just press attack all the time. If you do that, you will have defeated him within 5 hits.
