Outnumbered
When you come across a lot of Hel's minions and you are outnumbered say five to ten to one just do what I do. Try to run away, as they follow you, quickly turn around and do some combo hit to kill the closest one. This way there is no way for the victim to block or even counter. Another way is to find a cave or a small entrance and fight them off one at a time until they die. And finally, when you can't do either of the first two you can try a slightly harder method that is great when completely surrounded. Hold down your block button, as each one attacks in turn, counter hit him back just after your block. It takes forever to kill them but if done right, you won't take a single hit to your name!
