The Achievements ------------------- There are currently 50 achievements worth 1000 gamerscore. I decided to do something a little bit different with this guide. Since the majority of the achievements are completing the Campaign. I decided to add a full video walkthrough of the game. You can view the complete list here or you can look for the achievement level you are having trouble with and copy and paste into the address bar. All other achievements have descriptions and a video where needed. You can gain levels up offline in every gamemode including campaign. So just about every achievement can be gained offline. Ready for More - Complete all campaign Acts on Casual or Normal Difficulty (Standard or Arcade). 50G - You must complete all Acts on either difficulty. These are stackable, meaning if you beat the game on Normal. You also unlock the Casual Achievements. T. Ain't My First Rodeo - Complete all campaign Acts on Hardcore Difficulty (Standard or Arcade). 50G - This is available at the start and for beating it on this difficulty you will also get the Casual and Normal Achievements. U. That's Just Crazy - Complete all campaign Acts on Insane Difficulty (Standard or Arcade). 50G - You unlock Insane by finishing the game once. So you can beat the game on Casual, then play it on Insane and get the Achievements for Normal and Hardcore as well. V. Collector - Recover 5 Campaign Collectibles (any difficulty, Standard or Arcade). 5G - See Hoarder W. Pack Rat - Recover 20 Campaign Collectibles (any difficulty, Standard or Arcade). 10G - See Hoarder X. Hoarder - Recover all 42 Campaign Collectibles (any difficulty, Standard or Arcade). 15G - Act I - 14 Collectables Act II - 6 Collectables Act III - 7 Collectables Act IV - 6 Collectables Act V - 9 Collectables Total - 42 Collectables Y. Remember the Fallen - Recover all 15 COG Tags during the Campaign (any difficulty, Standard or Arcade). 15G - Act I - 5 Cog Tags Act II - 3 Cog Tags Act III - 2 Cog Tags Act IV - 2 Cog Tags Act V - 3 Cog Tags Total - 15 Cog Tags Z. My Fellow Gears - Complete all Campaign Acts in Co-op (any difficulty, Standard or Arcade). 50G - You must complete every Act with at least 1 other person in your game. AA. We Few, We Happy Few... - Complete all Campaign Acts in 4 player Co-op (any difficulty, Standard or Arcade). 50G - You must complete every Act with 3 other people in your game. AB. Level 5 - Reach level 5. 5G - You level up for every mode of play in the game. AC. Level 10 - Reach level 10. 10G - You level up for every mode of play in the game. AD. Level 15 - Reach level 15. 15G - You level up for every mode of play in the game. AE. Level 25 - Reach level 25. 25G - You level up for every mode of play in the game. AF. Level 50 - Reach level 50. 50G - You level up for every mode of play in the game. AG. Judge, Jury and Executioner - Get a kill with every possible execution finishing move (any mode). 10G - You must perform a weapon execution with the following in any mode. Lancer Rifle, Hammerburst, Retro Lancer, Gnasher, Sawed-off, Gorgon Pistol, Boltek Pistol, Boomshot, Differ, Hammer of Dawn, Mulcher, Mortar, OneShot, Scorcher, Torque Bow, Longshot, Cleaver AH. Wreaking Locust Vengence - Get a kill with every Locust monster in Beast mode (any difficulty). 10G - There are quite a few different Locust monsters. If you need to see who you can check Stats and Awards on the main menu and click Beast under Summary. The locust include Wild Ticker, Ticker, Wretch, Savage Drone, Butcher, Kantus, Bloodmount, Mauler, Giant Serapede, Savager Corpser, Savage Grenadier, Boomer, Berserker, Armored Kantus and Savage Boomer AI. Enriched and Fortified - Complete all 50 waves of Horde mode (any difficulty, any map). 10G - If you die on a round, you are able to retry from that round. This can be done solo but is a lot easier online in co op. AJ. It's All About the Loot! - Earn the Bronze "Loot Courtesan" medal. 25G - You must complete 10 challenges in Horde to get this. AK. All for One, One for All - Earn the Bronze "Force Multiplier" medal. 10G - Maintain max multiplier in 10 chapters of Arcade. It can be the same level over and over. Act II Chapter VII seems to be the easiest to do this on. AL. First Among Equals - Earn the Silver "Number 1" medal. 25G - Score the highest in Arcade 60 times for silver. This can not be done alone, but can be done with two controllers. Act II Chapter VII seems to be the easiest to do this on. AM. Award Winning Tactics - Earn at least one Onyx medal. 25G - Onyx is level 4 of a medal. It goes, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Onyx. AN. Seriously 3.0 - Reach level 100 and earn every Onyx medal. 100G - This means you have to reach not only max level but also max everything else in the game out. All medals have to be fully complete. There are a total of 65 medals in the game to Onyx. Not sure yet if the first 5 medals need to be obtained. Beta Tester, etc. AO. Welcome to Versus - Kill 10 enemies in Team Deathmatch (Standard or Casual). 10G - This can be done local or online, simply just get 10 kills. AP. The Versus Sampler Platter - Complete one match of all six Versus game modes (Standard or Casual). 10G - You simply just have to complete a match is all the gametypes. Team Deathmatch, Warzone, Execution, Capture The Leader, King of the Hill, Wingman AQ. Welcome to Horde Mode - Survive the first 10 waves of Horde mode (any difficulty, any map). 10G - Hoard is like a survival mode. Just have to kill all locusts for the first 10 rounds. The Locust get harder as each round passes. If you fail, you may retry from the same round. AR. Welcome to Beast Mode - Survive all 12 waves of Beast mode (any difficulty, any map). 10G - There are a total of 12 rounds to complete. Beast Mode is the same as hoard but you play it from the locust side. You must complete all 12 rounds. Welcome to Arcade Mode - Complete 5 Arcade Campaign chapters in co-op (any difficulty). 10G - Arcade is the same as Campaign except this time it is about who can get the most points for kills and objectives. You do not have to win, just complete 5 games with at least 1 other person. AT. Welcome to the Big Leagues - Demonstrate your skill in Casual Versus multiplayer. 0G - Simply play a casual Versus match. AU. Wait, What Time is it? - Earn the maximum Consecutive Match Bonus in Versus multiplayer (Standard or Casual). 10G - AV. Lambency - Execute an Epic employee, or someone who already has Lambency, in Versus multiplayer (any mode). 50G - This is a viral achievement. You must perform an execution on either an employee of Epic or someone that already has in multiplayer. AW. Socialite - Earn the Onyx "War Supporter" medal. 70G - This requires you to play in Gears of War 3 events. You will have to keep checking the Event Calender on the main menu to know when upcoming events are happening. You will have to play in 30 events total. Secret Achievement ------------------ AX. Respect for the Dead - Your respect for the dead earned you access to Griffin's special weapons stash. 5G - On the level Ashes to Ashes. You will be in the city of Char where the Hammer of Dawn struck and everything is completely burnt up and the people have been turned to ash and are frozen in time. Complete the level without bumping or hitting any of the people. "Lets try and pay some respect" The achievement unlocks at the end of the Chapter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwRueOrKD2c II.
