============================SECTION 1: INTRODUCTION===========================

Hello, I'm back for another Achievement/Trophy Guide, this time with BioWare's
fantasy RPG, Dragon Age: Origins! Like usual, some are easy enough to obtain,
even unavoidable ones (plot-driven Achievements), and some will take the most
patience and concentration to obtain. Sharpen your swords or axes, we're about
to make our honor in Ferelden!

I first started making Achievement Guides with Sonic Unleashed (available on
GameFAQs, NeoSeeker and SuperCheats)

=============SECTION II: LIST OF DRAGON AGE: ORIGINS MAIN GAME================
============================ACHIEVEMENTS/TROPHIES=============================

As with most Xbox 360 games, Dragon Age: Origins come with 1000 G worth of
Gamer Points, initially. The PlayStation 3 will usually have Trophies ranked
from Bronze to Platinum. For Dragon Age: Origins, there is a grand total of 83
Achievements initially! However, a good number of these are exclusive to the
PS3 or PC versions. With those, I will indicate which systems they go on.

NOTE: The Achievements/Trophies are in alphabetical order. I will also specify
the point value for the 360 version, and the Trophy value for the PS3 version.
For any Achievement that my require a specific skill, I will give a
methodology on how to use that skill. For each Achievement or Trophy, I will
give its point system and trophy value.

Since the game is getting Expansions as time continues, I will keep updating
this guide as more Achievements for each one come along.

BE WARNED!! THIS GUIDE WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THE GAME!!

Let's go!

-------------------------------A Dark Promise---------------------------------
---"Defeated the archdemon and, through a dark ritual with Morrigan, spared---
-------------------------------your own life"---------------------------------

360: 50 G
PC: 50 G
PS3: Gold
---
WALTHROUGH: At a point in the game, after the Landsmeet, and after talking to
Riordan about what will happen when slaying the Archdemon, you will be
confronted by Morrigan, who knows about what needs to be done. In turn, she
will offer a way of escape, so none may die. Without spoiling too much, just
say that you will go with her plan, and continue the game as usual. After
slaying the Archdemon, the Achievement will be yours. This will also count to
the "Completionist" Achivement.

NOTE: Morrigan does not need to be in your party when you storm the fort to
kill the Archdemon. If she is helping to defend the city gates, then that
counts as well.

-----------------------------Accomplished Rogue-------------------------------
----------------"Main character learned all Rogue talents"--------------------

PC: 15 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: As a Rogue, you must get every single skill by leveling up and
finding tomes that will boost your skill points. This will require getting
the Expansions.

----------------------------Accomplished Warrior------------------------------
----------------"Main character learned all Warrior talents"------------------

PC: 15 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: As a Warrior, you must get every single skill by leveling up and
finding tomes that will boost your skill points. This will require getting
the Expansions.

-----------------------------Annulment Invoker--------------------------------
----------------"Sided with the templars in 'Broken Circle'"------------------

360: 20 G
PC: 20 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: This one is unavoidable. "Broken Circle" is the quest involving
the Circle of Magi gone nuts. If you side with the templars (the knights
guarding the Magi) in this quest, you will need to continue through the
quest to its end, and then the Achievement is yours.
NOTE: You will lose Wynne as a party member permanently with this choice.

Scott came up with this amazing tip for this Achievement/Trophy for those
wanting to keep Wynne to the party.

"Annulment Invoker can be obtained without killing Wynne. It makes for a
difficult battle but if you let Uldred keep transforming mages into
abominations (and keep killing the abominations so he'll make more) Uldred
will eventually use First Enchanter Irving and turn him into an abomination.
Kill the last abomination then kill Uldred and you'll get the Annulment AND
Wynne all at once. The tricky part is resisting the urge to use the scroll
of Andrala..."

Thanks, Scott!

There is also another way if you wish to keep Wynne AND still use the Litany
of Andralla. When you meet Cullen, tell him that you will not make a decision
right now until you see the damage. Fight Uldred, return Irving to Ser
Greagoir, and tell him that to spare one blood mage is too dangerous. The
Circle will close down and try to reboot with Wynne as First Enchanter, but
she'll want to go with you until the Blight is taken care of.

------------------------------Archery Master----------------------------------
---------------"Main character learned all Archery talents"-------------------

PC: 15 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: This one is straight forward: When using your Skill Points, put
them to all Archery Talents until full. You should be able to do this without
any Expansions.

---------------------------------Archmage-------------------------------------
---------------"Main character achieved level 20 as a mage"-------------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Silver
---
WALKTHROUGH: This is simple enough, but you will need to do a good number of
side-quests to get enough experience to get this one. I was a level 22 at the
end of the game so it should be easy enough.

TIP from Solaris_Paradox: Achievements by creating new characters in the
Awakening expansion and just leveling up twice, which can be done in a
reasonably short time (clear out all the enemies and sidequest in the initial
assault on Vigil's Keep and then clear out the basement--should be enough, it
was for me). Since this is an infinitely faster method than playing through
the game or power-leveling from scratch three times...

---------------------------------Battery--------------------------------------
----------------"Killed 50 enemies using the Assault talent"------------------

PC: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Very easy to get. Use the Warrior's Assault talent (Shield +
Sword) 50 times, and this Achievement is yours. It's a nice talent to use as
well.

------------------------------Bhelen's Ally-----------------------------------
--------------"Sided with Bhelen in 'A Paragon of Her Kind'"------------------

360: 20 G
PC: 20 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Simply put, work the Orzammar mission so that you will be siding
with Bhelen, the blood-heir to the Dwarven throne. (IMO, he's a better king
then the other despite being a kinslayer, but hey, that's politics)

---------------------------Blackstone Auxillary---------------------------------
--------"Completed a job-board quest for the Blackstone Irregulars"-----------

PC: 20 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Sooner or later in the game, you will encounter a side-quest
board like the Chanter's Board, but for the Blackstone Irregulars, a group
of mercenaries. All you need do is one of their quests and you're good to go
with this Achievement. It's pretty easy to get, really.

------------------------------Blight-Queller----------------------------------
--------------------------"Killed 1000 darkspawn"-----------------------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Gold
---
WALKTHROUGH: Contrary to the description, you just need to kill 1000 enemies
period. A small bug in the game counts every enemy slain to this counter. Oh
well, at least the bug is in your favor.

NOTE: The PC version still has that little bug, while the 360 and PS3 version
got fixed in version 1.02 of the package. Oh well...

NOTE: This Achievement is bugged, so it may show up early, show up on time,
show up very late or be triggered by weird events, like reloading a game. It's
random and uncontrollable. If you get it, lucky you.

---------------------------------Bloodied-------------------------------------
----"Completed an origin story without the main character ever falling in-----
----------------------------------battle"-------------------------------------

360: 10 G
PC: 10 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: This is very easy on Casual difficulty. In any origin story, play
through the game without ever dying at all. The Human Noble is the shortest
and easiest origin so if you want an easy Achievement, do that choice.
Another short one is the Dalish Elf origin story, but there's a little more
fighting involved.

-----------------------------------Bully--------------------------------------
-------------"Succeeded at five difficult Intimidate attempts"----------------

360: 10 G
PC: 10 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: This is a skill-based Achievement. You will need to upgrade your
Coercion skill (main-player only), getting it up so that you can succeed more
in your attempts. The Coercion choices may still be available in the speech
choices, but that doesn't mean success. Only levelling up your Coercion can
promise more success with each attempt.

See http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Coercion for more info.

---------------------------------Casteless------------------------------------
----------------"Completed the Dwarf Commoner origin story"-------------------

360: 10 G
PC: 10 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Just like any of the other origin stories, just play with it
through until you come to Ostagar to become a Warden. Easy and unavoidable.

-------------------------------Ceremonialist----------------------------------
---------"Defied the Cult of Andraste in 'The Urn of Sacred Ashes'"-----------

360: 20 G
PC: 20 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: In the quest in the Village of Haven, when you finally meet
Kolgrim, leader of the cult, answer accordingly to show you have no intentions
of defiling the sacred ashes, which in turn will cause you to attack Kolgrim
and the rest of the cultists. Finish the quest like normal and this
Achievement is yours.

-----------------------------------Clever-------------------------------------
--------------------------------"Set a trap"----------------------------------

PC: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Using the Trap-Making skill, lay any trap. Personally, this seems
to be a rather useless skill, but hey, Achievements are Achievements.

----------------------------------Conjurer------------------------------------
-----------------"Main character learned all Creation spells"-----------------

PC: 15 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Obviously, a Mage-exclusive Achievement. These spells are mostly
healing and regeneration, but it also contains some damaging spells. Learn
all of them and get this Achievement.

--------------------------------Conscripted-----------------------------------
-------------------"Completed the City Elf origin story"----------------------

360: 10 G
PC: 10 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Just like any of the other origin stories, just play with it
through until you come to Ostagar to become a Warden. Easy and unavoidable.

---------------------------------Corrupted------------------------------------
-------------------"Completed the Dalish Elf origin story"--------------------

360: 10 G
PC: 10 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Just like any of the other origin stories, just play with it
through until you come to Ostagar to become a Warden. Easy and unavoidable.
This one is one of the shorter ones as well.

-----------------------------------Crafty-------------------------------------
-----------------------------"Crafted 25 items"-------------------------------

WALKTHROUGH: Puns aside, this is very simple to get. It doesn't matter which
thing you craft, it counts. There are tons of crafting items around Ferelden,
so collect anything shiny and craft it, mah boi.

-----------------------------------Crusher------------------------------------
--------------"Killed 50 enemies using the Mighty Blow talent"----------------

PC: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Very easy to get. Use the Warrior's Mighty Blow talent
(Greatsword) 50 times, and this Achievement is yours. It's a nice talent to
use as well.

----------------------------------Defender------------------------------------
--------"Preserved the lives of half the troops at Denerim's gates in---------
----------------------------'The Final Battle'"-------------------------------

360: 20 G
PC: 20 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Easy enough, even though the last battle can be a real bastard.
You will have around 70 summonable numbers of the army at your disposal.
Simply put, be light on your summons, but don't be afraid of calling them in
a pinch. You may find yourself needing to use your numbers, especially in the
last leg of the fight in front of Fort Drakon.

--------------------------------Dragonslayer----------------------------------
------------"Defeated the dragon guarding the Urn of Sacred Ashes"------------

360: 30 G
PC: 30 G
PS3: Silver
---
WALKTHROUGH: In the Urn of Sacred Ashes, there will be a place where the
dragon roosts in the mountains. To summon him down to fight, ring the gong.
Either way, this will call the dragon down and you must fight it. Like all
dragons in the game, it will seek to defile you, smash you, rip you up (and
other unnameable things) then kill you...in one move. Thankfully, this dragon
is completely optional, but if you do, you will miss out on some fantastic
items...and the Achievement.

HINT: If you want an easier time, play as a Mage, stand back a fair distance
and deliver good attacks out of reach and heal your squad periodically as they
will distract any of the dragons from you.

------------------------------Dual-Weapon Master------------------------------
---------------"Main character learned all Dual Weapon talents"---------------

PC: 15 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: This can be done as a Warrior or a Rogue. Focus your Skill Points
on Dual Weapon Talents, and once you get them all, it's as good as yours. This
can be done without any Expansions whatsoever.

------------------------------Easily Sidetracked------------------------------
----------------------"Completed 75% of all side-quests"----------------------

PC: 30 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Very self-explanatory, but still tricky. Hunt for all the
Chanter's Board, Blackstone Irregular, and any other side-quests out there,
and there's a lot, so keep going Grey Warden!

----------------------------------Easy Lover----------------------------------
---------------"Experienced the thrill of romance with Zevran"----------------

360: 10 G
PC: 10 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Kinky time! The goal here is to get Zevran's approval high enough
and talk to him enough so that you can provoke a relationship. Zevran is
rather easy to get into a relationship in, so it's no big deal. Zevran is also
one of the bisexual choices, so LGBT crew, you're in luck! As the name of the
Achievement implies, the Achievement will unlock after the bed scene.

-----------------------------------Educated-----------------------------------
------------"Used a tome to improve the main character's attributes,----------
------------------------talents, spells, or skills"---------------------------

360: 15 G
PC: 15 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Very easy. Go to any vendor in Ferelden and you will find one
that will sell you one. They're bloody expensive, but are very useful. If you
manage your inventory and money well, you will be just fine.

---------------------------------Elementalist---------------------------------
------------------"Main character learned all Primal spells"------------------

PC: 15 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Obviously, a Mage-exclusive Achievement. These spells are the
elemental spells: fire, lightning, ice and earth. Any mage will do as this
is one of the more effective methods of damage (next to Blood Mage). Likely
you will do this on your own because you want those spells besides any others
you want to give a go at.

------------------------------------Elite-------------------------------------
----------------"Main character learned two specializations"------------------

360: 30 G
PC: 30 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: This is a step up from "Veteran." Here, you will need to find
a way to expand your specializations. There are some books you could read for
easy ones, but some may have to be learned under special circumstances.
Either way, this is easy enough as I got it on my second playthrough.

---------------------------------First Knight---------------------------------
--------------"Experienced the thrill of romance with Alistair"---------------

360: 10 G
PC: 10 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Kinky time! The goal here is to get Alistair's approval high
enough and talk to him enough so that you can provoke a relationship. Alistair
is a little harder to warm up to you, but the basics are the same. Be nice and
don't deride him (although it's so easy to), and you should be good to go.
Alistair is straight, so you will need to play the Human Noble story as a
woman. A female Elf will work as well. Dwarf-women, maybe...

----------------------------------Grey Warden---------------------------------
-----------------------------"Killed 100 darkspawn"---------------------------

360: 20 G
PC: 20 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Very easy. Kill 100 darkspawn. With all the darkspawn you will
meet in the game, this will be quick to get. Definitely one of the first you
will get.

-----------------------------------Harrowed-----------------------------------
-----------------------"Completed the Magi origin story"----------------------

360: 10 G
PC: 10 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Just like any of the other origin stories, just play with it
through until you come to Ostagar to become a Warden. Easy and unavoidable.
This one is one of the more lengthy ones.

-------------------------------Harrowmont's Ally------------------------------
--------------"Sided with Harrowmont in 'A Paragon of Her Kind'"--------------

360: 20 G
PC: 20 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Another plot-based Achievement. In Orzammar, side with Harrowmont
against Bhelen. Like Bhelen, you'll have to do some tasks for him. At the end
of the quest, you'll be awarded for siding with Harrowmont.

---------------------------------Heavy Hitter---------------------------------
------------"Main character inflicted 250 damage with a single hit"-----------

360: 10 G
PC: 10 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: This is a difficult one to get, as you will need to be a very
high level to get this, and to ensure such a hit, you may need the expansions
to raise your level up for better odds. Critical hits count, but rarely do
they go above 225 HP.

Here are a few tips:

As a Warrior, be a two-handed weapon Warrior and up that Strength to the
limit. This may sacrifice things like health and what not.

As an Archer, train your Rogue or Soldier with a good number of Archery
talents. Get your dexterity to 34-40, use Aim, Arrow of Slaying and Archery
Mastery to improve your odds. Having high strength is also a big bonus. At
level 18, I was able to get a hit of 461 on a mabari in Fort Drakon as a
Soldier.

------------------------------Hero of Redcliffe-------------------------------
---------------------"Completed 'The Arl of Redcliffe'"-----------------------

360: 20 G
PC: 20 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Another plot-based Achievement, but one that will take forever.
Reason is because two others quests tie into it: "Urn of Sacred Ashes" and
"Broken Circle," and you will need to complete those two before completing
"The Arl of Redcliffe." More then likely, this will be one of the last quests
you'll complete in the run-through.

------------------------------------Hexer-------------------------------------
-----------------"Main character learned all Entropy spells"------------------

PC: 15 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: A Mage-based Achievement. These rather nasty abilities are meant
for extreme power against enemies, especially in leeching health and suffering
for enemies. Focus your Skill Points on those powers once you unlock the
Entropy Specialization.

-----------------------------Hopelessly Romantic------------------------------
----------------------"Experienced all possible romances"---------------------

360: 20 G
PC: 20 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: You are such a naughty boy or girl. Over all playthroughs, have
some good ol' bedtime with all four possibilites. It should take at least
four playthroughs. There are four possible romance possibilities, two are
bisexual: Alistair, Zevran, Morrigan or Leliana. Key is approval rating for
each one. For people like Leliana and Alistair, be sure to not just flower
them with gifts, but talk to them about different things and be supportive of
what they say.

---------------------------I'm Kind of a Big Deal-----------------------------
------------"Completed the entire game without the main character-------------
---------------------------ever falling in battle"----------------------------

PC: 30 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: This is an incredibly difficult Achievement, even on Casual. To
do such an adventure, you must be observant, vigilant and lucky. Save often,
especially before any event. The easiest class to do this is the Mage, as
they can safely blast enemies with powerful attacks from afar. It's not
foolproof however, so vigilance must be exercised.

--------------------------------Indestructible--------------------------------
------------"Completed 'The Landsmeet' without the main character-------------
---------------------------ever falling in battle"----------------------------

PC: 25 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: The Landsmeet is the longest mission in the game, and among the
more difficult ones. Keep an eye on your health and keep plenty of health
poultrices in your inventory. Mages are easiest to do this with, but vigilance
is required.

----------------------------------Insidious-----------------------------------
-------------------------------"Set 25 traps"---------------------------------

PC: 15 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Very simply put: set up 25 traps total; any kind of trap will do.

----------------------------------Kinslayer-----------------------------------
-------------------"Completed the Dwarf Noble origin story"-------------------

360: 10 G
PC: 10 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Just like any of the other origin stories, just play with it
through until you come to Ostagar to become a Warden. Easy and unavoidable.

-----------------------------Last of the Wardens------------------------------
-----------------------------"Completed Ostagar"------------------------------

360: 20 G
PC: 20 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Plot-based Achievement. This is the mission where you become a
Grey Warden. Play it through and this is as good as yours.

------------------------------Last of Your Line-------------------------------
------------------"Completed the Human Noble origin story"--------------------

360: 10 G
PC: 10 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Just like any of the other origin stories, just play with it
through until you come to Ostagar to become a Warden. Easy and unavoidable.
This one is the shortest, and easiest.

----------------------------------Liberator-----------------------------------
----------------------"Destroyed the Anvil of the Void"-----------------------

360: 20 G
PC: 20 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: In Orzammar, you will need to choose to destroy the Anvil of the
Void to get this Achievement. Either choice will have you in a tough battle,
so there's no real difference. The big difference for choosing to destroy the
Anvil is that Golems will not be available to you at the Battle of Denerim as
allies. If you are siding with Paragon Caridin (the golem), you are doing it
right.

------------------------------Lightning Reflexes------------------------------
-----------------------------"Disabled 25 traps"------------------------------

PC: 15 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Very easy, but you need to have your Deft Hands skills tuned up
so you can detect the traps. If you keep Leliana in your party, and keep her
Deft Hand skills tuned, it's even better. You can train Zevran to do the same
thing, but Leliana has the head start as she has Improved Deft Hands right
from the start.

----------------------------------Lockpicker----------------------------------
----------------------"Picked the lock on a chest or door"--------------------

PC: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Only can be done as a Rogue. Concentrate on skills and strengths
(Deft Hands) with lockpicking as the forte. Getting a very high level will
guarantee picking just about anything.

------------------------------Magic Sympathizer-------------------------------
-----------------"Sided with the mages in 'Broken Circle'"--------------------

360: 20 G
PC: 20 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Plot-Achievement. In the quest dealing with the Circle of Magi,
side with the mages so that they can survive after the problems dealt with
there. This choice is the more ethical one in my opinion, but hey, it's a
game. Deal with the maleficarum running amuck after you make your choice, and
have fun. Mages come in handy in the last battle, so choosing to have them is
good.

------------------------------Master Lockpicker-------------------------------
------------------"Picked the locks on 50 chests or doors"--------------------

PC: 15 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: A step-up from "Lockpicker." Same deal: get those lockpicking
stats up and lockpick away.

--------------------------------Master of Arms--------------------------------
---------------"Main character achieved level 20 as a warrior"----------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Silver
---
WALKTHROUGH: In one playthrough as a Warrior, you must reach a level 20
overall. This can be done without any expansions, but you will need to do
many of the side-quests to do it.

--------------------------------Master Warden---------------------------------
---------------------------"Killed 500 darkspawn"-----------------------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Silver
---
WALKTHROUGH: Very easy. Since darkspawn are everywhere in the game, killing
500 is a cinch. Keep grinding and this is as good as yours. You should get
this by the Final Onslaught. If not, then during it.

-----------------------------------Menacing-----------------------------------
----------------"Succeeded at 10 difficult Intimidate attempts"---------------

360: 20 G
PC: 20 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Another coercion Achievement. Concentrate your focus on upping
that Coercion so you can be more successful at those attempts.

----------------------------------Mercenary-----------------------------------
------------------------"Completed 15 job-board quests"-----------------------

360: 20 G
PC: 20 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Side-quest Achievement. Very self-explanatory, but since it's
so difficult to keep track of how many side-quests you've done, just keep
doing it until the bleep-bloop.

------------------------------------Nimble------------------------------------
-------------------------------"Disabled a trap"------------------------------

PC: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: "It's a trap!" If your Deft Hands skill as a Rogue, or another
party member's skill is up, you will detect traps when you venture close to
them (Leliana from the get go will have level 2 to find traps, but Zevran
can be taught to do the same). Keep a rogue in your party to find these traps.
Piece of cake, especially if it saves you from a beartrap, tripline or
firetrap. *awesome face*

---------------------------------Perfectionist--------------------------------
------------------------"Discovered all possible endings"---------------------

360: 50 G
PC: 50 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: This one will take a long time to get, but is easy enough. There
are "four" different endings that count to this Achievement (each with their
own variations, but that doesn't matter). Here is the list of scenarios for
the ending. Remember what I said about spoilers in the beginning:

1. Go with Morrigan's plan so that no one dies slaying the Archdemon (also
earns you the "A Dark Promise" Achievement).
2. Turn down Morrigan's plan (she will leave) and sacrifice yourself to kill
the Archdemon (also gives you the "The Ultimate Sacrifice" Achievement).
3. Turn down Morrigan's plan and send Alistair to slay the Archdemon (same
as #2, but also earns you the "Warden-Commander Achievement" on the PC
    version of the game).
4. Get Loghain into your party (him becoming a Grey Warden) and have him kill
the Archdemon. (Same as #2, but also earns you the "Redeemer" Achievement
    on the PC version).

Once you get all these endings in at least four different playthroughs, this
Achievement is yours.

NOTE: There is a way to do it in one playthrough, so to speak. When you get
your game to the Landsmeet, save four different copies of the same file, and
play each one with the different endings in mind. The Landsmeet Quest is where
you set up the game for each ending, so do the copying right when you gain
control again in Arl Eamon's house. Make sure you remember which ones you did
previously, or it will all go to waste. If you don't feel like doing that,
there is the other, more traditional method.

-----------------------------------Persuasive---------------------------------
---------------"Succeeded at five difficult Persuasion attempts"--------------

360: 10 G
PC: 10 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: This is Bully's brother. You need to get your Coercion up so that
you can easilly use the Persuasion speech choices and succeed.

-----------------------------------Pickpocket---------------------------------
---------------------"Successfully picked someone's pocket"-------------------

PC: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: A Thieving skill, better for a Rogue. If the option pops up,
give it a whirl. Eventually, you will succeed and you will get this
Achievement.

------------------------------------Pilgrim-----------------------------------
----------------------"Completed a Chanter's Board quest"---------------------

360: 10 G
PC: 10 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Stupidly easy. After Ostagar, you will come upon the quaint
little village of Lothering, where a Chanter's Board lies. The quests offered
here are stupidly easy, so this Achievement will be a piece of cake.

------------------------------------Poacher-----------------------------------
----------------"Sided with the elves in 'Nature of the Beast'"---------------

360: 20 G
PC: 20 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: This one is easier to get then "Slayer" (see Slayer Achievement
Guide for details). The reason is that all you really have to do is make
sure the elves stay alive. You don't necessarily have to side with them, but
if both the werewolves and elves are alive, you still get this one.

-----------------------------------Pragmatist---------------------------------
-----------------------"Preserved the Anvil of the Void"----------------------

360: 20 G
PC: 20 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: In this quest, work it so you that the Anvil remains. The result
is the same, really. You know if you are doing it right if you side with
Paragon Branka, you're doing it right. This will result in you having golems
available to you in "The Battle of Denerim."

---------------------------------Rabble-Rouser--------------------------------
--------------------------"Completed 'The Landsmeet'"-------------------------

360: 20 G
PC: 20 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: This is a very long quest, but it is straight-forward. It's a
plot-based Achievement. The only annoying thing is its length.

-----------------------------------Recruiter----------------------------------
--------------------------"Recruited all party members"-----------------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: In one playthrough, you need to have every party member recruited
at some point in the game. They don't have to be all there at once, but you
need to have had them in your party for any length of time. The list is as
follows:

Alistair
Morrigan
Dog (named by you)
Wynne
Zevran
Sten
Leliana
Loghain
Oghren

Loghain is the most difficult to recruit, but with some Coercion and good
playing, you can get him on your side. If you do, you will lose Alistair as
a party member for one reason or another.

------------------------------------Redeemer----------------------------------
------"Allowed Loghain to make a great sacrifice in defense of Ferelden"------

PC: 50 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Goal is to get Loghain in your party first of all. Then take him
all the way to the Archdemon. Do your little dance with the devil there and
when the Archdemon is finally down, Loghain will ask you that he wants to
deliver the final blow. Allow him to and this Achievement is yours. This will
also count to the "Completionist" Achivement.

------------------------------------Resilient---------------------------------
----"Completed Ostagar without the main character ever falling in battle"-----

PC: 25 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: This isn't that hard on Casual or Normal, but a real challenge
on the hardest difficulties (duh). Since you will only have like three total
in your party, and all Warriors (maybe a Mage), you need to keep your focus
steady and eyes open. Enemies are everywhere, Warden.

-----------------------------------Sacreligious-------------------------------
--------"Sided with the Cult of Andraste in 'The Urn of Sacred Ashes'"--------

360: 20 G
PC: 20 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Oh, aren't you the ever evil one? When you find Kolgrim in the
mountain paths, you will be faced with teh choice to side with him (which will
defile the Urn), or not. Obviously siding with Kolgrim will get you this
Achievement. Just don't ring the gong, okay, unless you're after the
"Dragonslayer" Achievement or a ton of XP...and a fantastic weapon layout...
you know what, just ring the damn horn.

(Seriously, don't fight the dragon if you're going after Sacriligious because
they believe it's Andraste in dragon-form. Yeah...)

NOTE: Choosing to side with Kolgrim will make you lose Wynne from the party
permanently (either immediately if she is with you, or eventually if she is
not). You will lose Leliana if she is in your party. Also, this will unlock
the Reaver Specialization. You will also lose Wynne in your party eventually,
guaranteed.

------------------------------------Shadow------------------------------------
-----------------"Main character achieved level 20 as a rogue"----------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Silver
---
WALKTHROUGH: During a Rogue class playthrough, you must get level 20 before
the end of the game. This can be done without any DLC or Expansions whatsoever
but you will need to do quite a few side-quests.

---------------------------------Sharpshooter---------------------------------
-------------"Killed 50 enemies using the Arrow of Slaying talent"------------

PC: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Done with a Rogue or Warrior. Get your Archery Skills up so you
can use this talent. This isn't an istant kill talent, but it does hurt a lot,
especially to enemies without much mental resistance. Using it to actually
kill an enemy that is one shot from death will give you over 400 damage
points guaranteed.

---------------------------------Shield Master--------------------------------
------------"Main character learned all Weapon and Shield talents"------------

PC: 15 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: A Warrior-class-based Achievement. As a warrior, go the way as
a balanced warrior, using a smaller sword to hit quickly while defending
yourself with a shield. All of the talents are great to have, so be sure to
have them at hand as well.

--------------------------------Silver-Tongued--------------------------------
---------------"Succeeded at 25 difficult Persuasion attempts"----------------

360: 20 G
PC: 20 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Another Coercion-based Achievement. Since you need so many, you
need to get those Coercion points up early. Like the other Achievements with
Coercion, this is more luck then anything else, so keep trying. Raising the
Coercion early in the game will help a lot.

------------------------------------Slayer------------------------------------
-------------"Sided with the werewolves in 'Nature of the Beast'"-------------

360: 20 G
PC: 20 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: This is harder to get then "Poacher," as you need good Coercion
alongside you. The only way to sway the spirit is to convince her using
Persuasion that killing the elves is the only way. Definitely hardway as there
isn't much room for error like for "Poaching."

--------------------------------Standard-Bearer-------------------------------
-------"Used the Grey Warden treaties to recruit all possible allies"---------

360: 20 G
PC: 20 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: This is easier then it sounds. In the game, you can recruit up
to four different forces to aid you in the battle against the darkspawn. Each
quest gives you the opportunity to recruit from them. They aren't given to you
automatically, so you need to prod for them to recruit.

These recruits will come to your aid if needed at the Battle of Denerim, and
they also make getting the "Defender" Achievement easier.

----------------------------------Streetwise----------------------------------
--------"Completed a job-board quest for the elusive 'K,' 'D,' or 'R'"--------

PC: 20 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: In Denerim, there's a tavern called the "Gnawed Noble Tavern" in
the Market Square. In there, talk to the man at the bar and ask about jobs.
He'll show you the list of some aliased people need done. Finish one and the
Achievement is yours.

----------------------------------Tactician-----------------------------------
------"Main character killed 250 enemies without them inflicting damage"------

PC: 20 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Harder then it sounds. The goal is to kill 250 enemies before
they deal damage on anybody in your party. It doesn't have to be done in a
row; just merely collectively. This is easier as a Mage or an Archer (Rogue),
but it can be done as a Warrior as well. The part where you'll get this
number boosted is at the Battle of Denerim, as many enemies are one-hit kills.

--------------------------------Thaumaturgist---------------------------------
-----------------"Main character learned all Spirit spells"-------------------

PC: 15 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: A Mage-exclusive Achievement. Like the others, just concentrate
your Talent points on the Spirit spells when the Specialization becomes
available to you.

----------------------------The Collective Friend-----------------------------
-----------"Completed a job-board quest for the mages' collective"------------

PC: 20 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Very simple. Eventually, if you explore hard enough, you will run
into someone standing beside a sack who works for the Mages' Collective. Do
just one side-quest for him and this Achievement is yours.

---------------------------------The Punisher---------------------------------
----------------"Killed 50 enemies using the Punisher talent"-----------------

PC: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: This is a Dual-Weapon Achievement. You will likely be a Rogue
when you are trying to get this Achievement. The rest is self-explanatory,
so have at it!

------------------------------The Ultimate Reward-----------------------------
---------------"Completed all Bronze, Silver and Gold Trophies"---------------

PS3: Platinum
---
WALKTHROUGH: On the PS3 version, you need to obtain every Achievement in the
main game. Now, if you get the Expansions before getting 100% trophies, then
the Expansion trophies will be included. Happy hunting.

----------------------------The Ultimate Sacrifice----------------------------
------------"Made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of Ferelden"--------------

360: 50 G
PC: 50 G
PS3: Gold
---
WALKTHROUGH: After defeating the Archdemon (as long as you didn't go with
Morrigan's plan), you, Alistair or Loghain (depending who's in your party)
will have to make the final blow. When that happens, the one who slays the
Archdemon will die. That is the Ultimate Sacrifice. Bleep-bloop! This will
also count to the "Completionist" Achivement.

-----------------------------------Tinkerer-----------------------------------
------------------------------"Crafted an item"-------------------------------

360: 10 G
PC: 10 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Simple as all nuts. It can be any item, and since it's so easy
to find crafting materials in Ferelden, this Acheivement is a good as gotten
from the start!

-----------------------------------Traveler-----------------------------------
---------------------"Set foot in every area in the game"---------------------

360: 35 G
PC: 35 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: While simple in prospect, this can be very difficult to pull off.
The hard part is actually finding every area. Denerim is the worst, as each
little pocket inside and outside counts as a different area. Doing the side-
quests will help you out, but even then, you need to keep a sharp lookout
for doors and pockets which may contain the hidden areas. It's very tricky.
Keep looking! Probably would be better to do it as a Rogue and your mad
lockpicking skills.

---------------------------Two-Handed Weapon Master---------------------------
---------------"Main character learned all Two-Handed talents"----------------

PC: 15 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: A Warrior-based Achievement. Train your Warrior to use the
greatsword abilities (or warhammer or battleaxe, what have you) and get all
the two-handed weapon techniques (and these can be devastating). Once you get
all of them, the Achievement is yours.

------------------------------------Veteran-----------------------------------
-------------------"Main character learned a specialization"------------------

360: 20 G
PC: 20 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: With each class, you can have up to four different
specializations that you can use. Each one has a different way of obtaining
them: some come in the form of tomes that you read and it will unlock, while
others will involve a specific conversation you must reach. Once you do, the
specialization will unlock, and then you will have to use your skill points
on it. All you need is one, and this Achievement is as good as yours.

--------------------------------Warden-Commander------------------------------
----"Commanded Alistair to make a great sacrifice in defense of Ferelden"-----

PC: 50 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: In the Battle of Denerim, you must have Alistair in your main
character's party, all the way up to the Fort Drakon Tower, where you will
fight the Archdemon. When you finally slay him, Alistair will offer to take
him down on the final blow. Let him do it, and this Achievement will be as
good as yours. This will also count to the "Completionist" Achivement.

--------------------------------Whirling Dervish------------------------------
-----------------"Killed 50 enemies using the Whirlwind talent"---------------

PC: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: A Dual-Weapon Achievement, best done with a Rogue. In the Dual-
Weapon Skills, Whirlwind can be selected. Once you get it, simply kill 50
enemies with it. Pretty simple, actually.

------------------------------Wine, Woman, and Song---------------------------
----------------"Experienced the thrill of romance with Leliana"--------------

360: 10 G
PC: 10 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Leliana is the Rogue Bard from Orlais, formerly of the Chantry.
Like with any other romance, you need to talk to her frequently and be sure
to get her approval ratings up. Leliana is also one of the bisexual choices,
but it's a little harder to get a romance with her as a woman (Elf or Human).
You can still do it though. Keep going after her, and be sure to listen to
her story and do her side-quest as this provides the best chance for success.

--------------------------------Witch Gone Wild-------------------------------
---------------"Experienced the thrill of romance with Morrigan"--------------

360: 10 G
PC: 10 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Morrigan is the daughter of Flemeth, the Witch of the Wilds. Like
with any other romance, you need to get her approval up and talk to her
frequently. Morrigan is one of the hardest to get a romance going as she can
be very offended by the slighest things. Keep this in mind. Morrigan is a
straight choice so you will need to be a male profile. She doesn't
differentiate with race either. Just mind your words, do her side-quest and
she can be bought.

===================LIST OF EXPANSION ACHIEVEMENTS/TROPHIES====================

With the release of "Awakening," the first Dragon Age: Origins expansion pack,
New Achievements and Trophies are now available.

NOTE: As more Expansions become available, this page will be updated.

==================================AWAKENING================================
===

----------------------------Amaranthine's Last Hope---------------------------
------------------------"Saved the city of Amaranthine"-----------------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: A plot-based Achievement. Just like with the quests in the main
game, you have to finish the quest in its entirety before getting this
Achievement. After rounding up all your allies, you will have to go save
Amaranthine. However, upon arrival, you will find that Vigil's Keep is being
attacked as well. You will have to choose to save one, and destroy the other.
Save Amaranthine from the threat and this is as good as yours.

-----------------------------------Awakening----------------------------------
-----------------"Completed Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening"------------------

360: 50 G
PC: 50 G
PS3: Gold
---
WALKTHROUGH: Explanation need not imply. Simply just beat the Expansion pack
completely by slaying the Mother (one ugly-ass Broodmother), and this
mega-Achievement is as good as yours.

--------------------------------Blind Vengeance-------------------------------
-------------------------"Escaped the silverite mines"------------------------

360: 30 G
PC: 30 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Yet another plot-based Achievement. Deal with the mission that
starts in the Wending Woods. Eventually, you will come to the silverite mines,
now swarming with darkspawn. Beat the mission associated with this and there
you go. Bleep-bloop!

-----------------------------Commander of the Grey----------------------------
------------------------------"Reached level 30"------------------------------

360: 30 G
PC: 30 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: In the main game, you can only get a cap of Level 25, but with
"Awakening," you can now boost that. When you reach level 30 with any class,
this Achievement is yours. As this does take place after the Battle of
Denerim, you can't play a level 30 class against the Archdemon. Getting to
level 30 is a piece of cake, as you level up very quickly in this game.

------------------------------Keeper of the Vigil-----------------------------
-----------------------------"Saved Vigil's Keep"-----------------------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Yet another plot-based Achievement. After rounding up your
allies, go save Amaranthine. Upon arrival, you will find that Vigil's Keep is
also under attack. Go back to save Vigil's Keep (and the rest of your party),
and this Achievement is yours.

-----------------------------Pride Before The Fall----------------------------
----------------------------"Defeated the baroness"---------------------------

360: 30 G
PC: 30 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Yet another plot-based Achievement. Complete the Blackmarsh quest
and there you go. Bleep-bloop!

------------------------------Savior of Kal'Hirol-----------------------------
-------------------"Destroyed the broodmothers in Kal'Hirol"------------------

360: 30 G
PC: 30 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Yet another plot-based Achievement. Scourge the Knotwood Hills
and the Deep Roads underneath and this Achievement is yours. Don't worry;
you won't be fighting the broodmother's directly.

------------------------------The Enduring Vigil------------------------------
-------------------"Acquired all upgrades for Vigil's Keep"-------------------

360: 30 G
PC: 30 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: A little tougher. In the Vigil's Keep, you need to get all the
upgrades to make the defenses stronger so make sure you do. Also, you will
need to search for Lyrium Sand to bolster the bombs, as well as unique ores
so that Wade (yes, THAT Wade) can make armor and weaponry for your armies.

=============================DARKSPAWN CHRONICLES=============================

--------------------------------Bane of Thedas--------------------------------
---"Handed victory to the archdemon by killing Ferelden's last Grey Warden"---

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: One of those obligatory "beat the game" Achievements, although
the subject is interesting to say the least. Anyway, ensure the survival of
the Archdemon a the Battle of Denerim and this is yours.

---------------------------------Enthralling----------------------------------
----------------"Earned maximum approval from all thrall types"---------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Oh dear, an approval rating based Achievement, and this time for
darkspawn minions. To get this, you must get the full approval from the
following type of darkspawn:

Genlock
Hurlock
Ogre
Shriek
Hurlock Emissary
Blight Wolf

Any other type that you will meet in the game will NOT count.

---------------------------------Ogre's Keeper--------------------------------
------------"Kept the initial ogre alive through the whole story"-------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Silver
---
WALKTROUGH: Oh my. This is pretty self-explanatory, and since it's an ogre you
are protecting, it shouldn't be too hard. However, keep a close eye on him
(how could you miss him?) and make sure he doesn't die.

To make it easier, be sure to have a Hurlock Emissary with you that can heal.
However, healing doesn't have much of an effect, so you'll have to keep an eye
on it.

==============================GOLEMS OF
AMGARRAK==============================

---------------------------A Secret Stitched Together-------------------------
----------------Gathered all of the research notes in Amgarrak----------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Throughout the ruin of Amgarrak, there are six chests containing
research notes that upgrade your Runic Golem. Not only will this work for the
Achievement, but they will grant your Golem unspeakable power. Which is a good
thing since this Expansion is among the hardest parts of the whole game (don't
worry; the Fade in "Broken Circle" is still safe at its number one pinnacle.)

-----------------------------------Grim Reaper--------------------------------
----------"Defeated the Harvester on Hard or Nightmare difficulty"------------

360: 50 G
PC: 50 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Beat the Harvester (geesh, and I thought the Mother in Awakening
was ugly) on Hard mode or harder to get this Achievement. Hard mode is perfect
hell, and Nightmare is the Antichrist himself. Even with a level 35 character,
you will find this fight to be likely harder then the Archdemon himself. It
doesn't help that friendly fire is enabled, so attacks of mass destruction
will hurt your dear party very badly. Find strategies for the Harvester
elsewhere--as this guide's purpose is only to tell you how to get an
Achievement--and make sure you have plenty of health poultrices, particularly
the Greater or Potent kind.

NOTE: You have to fight the entire battle on Hard or Nightmare to get this
Achievement. Playing on Casual up to the very end then switching to Hard will
not count. Sorry...

--------------------------------------Reaper----------------------------------
------------------------------"Defeated the Harvester"------------------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Beat the Harvester (geesh, and I thought the Mother in Awakening
was ugly) on Hard mode or harder to get this Achievement. This is also the
obligatory "beat the expansion" Achievement.

================================LELIANA'S SONG================================

----------------------------------Provocateur---------------------------------
---------Collected and assembled the Battledress of the Provocateur-----------

360: 50 G
PC: 50 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: To get this, you must collect and assemble the pieces to the
Battledress of the Provocateur...but you probably already knew that. More
precisely, there are six Masterwork Leather Pieces you must hunt down and find
to get this Achievement. This will also reward you the Battledress of the
Provocateur for Origins and Awakening.

---------------------------------Turning Point--------------------------------
-------------------"Heard Leliana's version of her betrayal"------------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: This is a story-based Achievement. Listen to the poor bard, k?
This is the "beat the expansion" Achievement.

-----------------------------------Vendetta-----------------------------------
-----------------"Destroyed the career of Guard Captain Eams"-----------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: This is where you have to frame the Guard Captain by stacking
up evidence against him. The more you get, the easier it will be to destroy
the bastard. :D When you scourge the Denerim marketplace, pile everything on
his knocked-out ass, then signal Marjolaine to get this Achievement.

==============================RETURN TO
OSTAGAR===============================

-------------------------------In War, Victory--------------------------------
-----------------"Defeated the ogre that killed King Cailan"------------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Remember that ogre that crused Cailan to a pulp? Well, he's back!
It's time to crush HIM! Unleash your righteous fury against this ogre and this
Achievement is yours. (Although it's a little odd to see him up and about
when Duncan ALREADY KILLED HIM!! Stupid darkspawn thrall summoner...) Ahem,
just kill him, k?

==============================THE STONE PRISONER==============================

-----------------------------Rock and a Hard Place----------------------------
----------------------"Completed 'The Golem in Honnleath'"--------------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: This is where you get Shale. And yes, it's another plot-based
Achievement. Same deal, beat the mission to get it. BioWare really loves these
in this game. :P

---------------------------------Stone's Lament-------------------------------
------------------------"Completed 'A Golem's Memories'"----------------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: The second part of "The Stone Prisoner," and Shale's personal
side-quest. You will not get this mission until you have completed "Paragon of
Her Kind." Ideally, you will want to have Shale with you when you go after the
Anvil of the Void. Talk to her immediately after destroying the Anvil and
she'll remember the location of Cadash Thaig. Go there and do what needs to be
done to complete her personal side-quest. This Achivement is yours once you
do.

=================================WARDEN'S
KEEP================================

-----------------------------------Diabolist----------------------------------
---------------------"Took advantage of Avernus's research--------------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: At some point in the quest, you will come upon a blood vial. The
only way you can take advantage of Avernus' is to take the vials yourself
(unlocking two Power of Blood skills). Very easy, plus it's two free powers.

-------------------------------Master of the Peak-----------------------------
--------------------------"Completed 'Soldier's Peak'"------------------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Obviously, another plot-based Achievement. It doesn't matter how
you end the quest, so do whatever pleases you and this Achievement is yours.

===================================WITCH
HUNT=================================

----------------------------A Time of Wood and Stone--------------------------
--------------------"Gathered the lost lore of Cadash Thaig"------------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: In Cadash Thaig, there are various lore pieces lying about,
telling of the time the elves took refuge with the dwarves. Find all four lore
pieces and this Achievement is yours.

----------------------------Through the Looking Glass-------------------------
--------------------------"Completed the scrying ritual"----------------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: A plot-based Achievement. You will get this after you complete
your visit to the Cadash Thaig and then coming to the ruins within the
Brecilian Forest (this is the same ruin you go to in the Dalish Elf origin
story). Finn will do the ritual which will lead you towards Morrigan.

---------------------------------Varterral's Fall-----------------------------
-----------"Defeated the varterral on Hard or Nightmare difficulty"-----------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Beat down this walking mutant tree monster on Hard or Nightmare
mode to get this Achievement. Like the Harvester battle, the varterral is as
mean and ferocious as any dragon. This will require a lot of patience and
health poultrices. A 30+ leveled player is recommended. What really makes this
tough is the continual onslaught of lesser dragons as you fight.

NOTE: You have to fight the entire battle on Hard or Nightmare to get this
Achievement. Playing on Casual up to the very end then switching to Hard will
not count. Sorry...

------------------------------------Witch Hunter------------------------------
------------------------------"Completed 'Witch Hunt'"------------------------

360: 25 G
PC: 25 G
PS3: Bronze
---
WALKTHROUGH: Deep within the Dragonwastes, you will find another mirror where
Morrigan will be waiting (this is the same place where you would fight the
Mother in Awakening, however it's been nearly two years since then so all the
nasty is gone now). However you end it, you will get this Achievement. She
leaves some food for thought and some possible hints for Dragon Age 2, so
definitely pay attention.
