I come from canada, and i have mastered this video game. I think that this is one of 
Nintendo's best creations, it involves wonderful gameplay, as well as so many things 
to do, you will never feel bored. I hope this FAQ will prove useful!

A: weak attack. for some characters can be pressed repeatedly for a new attack.
A+right/left/up/down(pressed hard): smash attack
A+right/left/up/down(weakly pressed): slightly powerful attack
B: special attack
B+right/left:special attack
B+up:special attack
B+down:special attack
C stick:smash attack
D Pad:fighters stance
X/Y/up:jump(again for a midair jump)
Z:Throw
Dash+A:dash attack

to unlock jigglypuff, simply beat classic mode with any character
   b)LUIGI
to unlock luigi, enter adventure mode with any character. Beat stage 1 with 2 
minutes left on clock

to unlock pichu, beat event 37. An alternative is to play 300 VS matches
   d)MARTH
to unlock marth, beat classic mode with all of the original characters
   e)ROY
to unlock roy, beat classic mode with Marth
   f)GANONDORF
to unlock ganondorf, beat event 29
   g)DR MARIO
to unlock dr mario, play through classic mode with mario

to unlock falco, beat 100 man melee
