\____\rand Theft Auto V: Online takes place a few months before the events of
GTA V single-player mode. There is a fair amount of things to do in
GTA Online and the apsect that will be covered in this guide are the
infamous "Gang Attacks".

\____\ang Attacks are specific areas on the map marked by a red circle. Within
these zones 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 gang members and 3-4 crates spawn. To complete
the Gang Attack ALL of the gang members must be killed by either you,
the police and or suffer some other deadly fate. Completing a Gang Attack alone
will grant you 500 RP (with 1 other crew member, 650 RP).

The rank requirement of the Gang Attack determines the weapons carried by
the gang members and the weapons/ammo found within the crates. As you gain ranks
more Gang Attack's will become available with varying numbers of gang members. 
The crates each contain $500 and various weapons/ammo depending on the rank
of the Gang Attack.

Ammo and weapon types:
Handguns - Pistol, Combat Pistol
Machine Guns - Micro SMG, SMG, MG, Combat MG, 
Rifles - Assault Rifle, Carbine Rifle
Long Range - Sniper Rifle, Heavy Sniper Rifle
Shotguns - Pump Shotgun, Sawed-Off Shotgun, Assault Shotgun

\____\ang Attacks are available in 8 hour blocks and start/end at different
times of the day, some share the same time span. The "morning" block
lasts from 4:00 - 12:00, the "afternoon" block lasts from 12:00 - 19:00" and
the evening"block lasts from 20:00 - 4:00.

  \_/o initiate a Gang Attack you must visit the red circle that shows up
on themini-map/map when the Gang Attack is available and do 1 or more of the
following:

1.) Run around within the red circle until an NPC gang member
    spawns (red ring on mini-map/map).
2.) Firing a weapon while within the red gang attack circle.
3.) Shoot an already spawned gang member, sometimes if gang members are already
    spawned their red circle won't show on the mini-map until the gang attack
    has started.

When the gank attack starts you will see "gang attack" show up on the screen
indicating that the Gang Attack is in progress.

  \_/o help keep things simple do not use sticky bombs, grenades, or RPG's
and also make sure you don't attack any civilians mistaking them for
gang members all of which can gain you stars and attract the police possibly
compounding things (I have gained stars and the gang members and police
actually started killing each other but I wouldn't rely on this). When you
initiate a Gang Attack try to as far from the center as possible because this
will help prevent NPC's from spawning around you on multiple sides, the
gang members can spawn just about anywhere within the gang attack area and the
closer you are to the center the more opportunities the NPC's have to surround
and kill you.

Cover where it stands taller than your character and there are no spaces for
your feet/legs to be hit can be key during a Gang Attack, especially the higher
rank ones with snipers since the NPC's in this game can have deadly accuracy
even with weapons like SMG's from a distance. You can also park a big vehicle
such as a Granger in the vicinity and use it as cover, if you use a vehicle as
cover make suyre to keep an eye out for smoke and fire indicating that the
vehicle is pretty close to exploding. The first portion of gang members usually
move towards your character and as the number of gang members remaining gets
closer to 0 the NPC's sometimes tend to remain behind cover until you get close
in proximity to them.

\_/ will separate the Gang Attack's into Morning, Afternoon and Evening
sections and they are numbered (#??) in the order that I noted them in. I will
note the gang member type ({??}), the number of gang members (x??) found in the
gang attack (the number changes for some) and weapon/ammo ([X, X, X]) types
found within each gang attack. The directions to the gang attack locations may
seem general but the red circle for each is of a considerable size and will
appear on the mini-map even if you are only somewhat close (for the most part).

MSMG = Micro-SMG
SMG  = SMG (Sub-Machine gun)
MG   = Machine Gun
CMG  = Combat Machine Gun
AR   = Assault Rifle
CR   = Carbine rifle

PSG  = Pump Shotgun
SO   = Sawed-Off Shotgun

    the police will move near him while searching for you, they will start
    shooting at each other and the police will eventually kill him.
