ABOUT
========================================================
This guide is to assist those players who enjoy collecting rare or unique
vehicles. This guide lists all known proofed, special property, unique, and
even rare vehicles (which often have to be unlocked).

This is NOT a "rare car" guide. Vehicles that appear rarely, but DO appear in
free roam (such as the Comet) do NOT qualify for the scope of this guide. Only
cars that have something special about them that is normally unavailable are
included. This includes special features, paintjobs, proofings, or being
unavailable outside of missions entirely. Vehicles such as these are a staple
of the GTA series, and this entry is no exception.

I wrote this guide with the Xbox 360 version, not the PS3 or PC version. I
don't know of any differences between the different versions, at least that
affect this guide, however I will include any information on known version
differences as best I can. If you notice a difference, such as a particular
strategy or glitch not working, contact me and let me know (be sure to mention
which version you're playing).

CAUTION! This guide may inadvertently contain spoilers of story missions!
While this guide's scope does not really involve spoiling anything, due to
what is required of it, it does possess a list of mission names at the very
minimum, which may have the potential to spoil parts of the game.

*1* GLOSSARY OF TERMS
========================================================
This is a glossary of all the special terms used in this guide.

BP - Bulletproof. This vehicle will not take damage from bullets. Windows
cannot be damaged, and shots will not count towards the car being destroyed.
Unlike the previous GTAs, tires are apparently also immune to being popped by
 gunfire.

FP - Fireproof. This vehicle will not catch fire or otherwise take damage from
molotovs. Tires can still catch fire unfortunately.

EP - Explosionproof. This car is immune to explosive damage, such as from
grenades, rocket launchers, or exploding cars. Does not stop the car itself
from exploding if somehow critically damaged.

DP - Damageproof. This car cannot be damaged by bashing it around (into other
cars, walls, etc.) or by melee attacks (unproven). The car will still take
cosmetic damage, such as dents and scrapes (even to the point of impeding
functions, such as a wheel well being destroyed).

CP - Comprehensiveproof. This combines the qualities of bulletproof,
 fireproof, explosionproof, and damageproof.

UJ - Unjackable. Now that even locked cars can be jacked by breaking the
windows, UJ means that Niko will simply refuse to break the windows and get
in. Even breaking the windows anyways, he still refuses to open the doors.

Beater - A rustbucket. One of the rusty, falling-apart cars that occasionally
spawn. Used in the first nine levels of the Little Jacob's drug delivery
 missions.

Confirm - To "confirm" a car is to return to the parking spot where it was
left BEFORE continuing with the game (most notably saving and loading). Cars
parked during missions are retained, but only during that game session, as
parking spots are "turned off" during missions (to prevent abuse to repair
your car). Confirming it causes the game to recall the car, and as a result,
store it properly next time it is removed (when you save and load, or drive
away again). Failure to do this will lead to the car vanishing, even though
it was in a parking spot.

Description - A description of unique color/feature vehicles and WHY they are
 unique.

Discovered by - This is not necessarily the first person to discover a
vehicle, but rather the first person to report it to me. I will add the
original discoverer if I'm able to determine who originally found it,
 however.

Double-drive - Double-driving is used in some vehicle strategies. It involves
driving two vehicles at once back to your safehouse. One is the special
vehicle you're trying to obtain, the other is a vehicle some important person
from the mission is in, and if you go too far away, you will fail.

You essentially drive one car partway towards the destination (usually a
parking spot), then get out and drive the other a bit farther, and repeat ad
nauseum. Slow, but guaranteed to work, as long as you don't put too much
distance between them. You don't risk failing the mission, but rather the
vehicle you're trying for may vanish.

If one vehicle is powerful enough to push the other, you can do that instead
 to expedite the process.

Firetruck Trick - This is simpler than it may sound. The Firetruck's water
stream is able to not only push small vehicle, but put out any fire that
starts. This allows rapid pushing of motorcycles and other such vehicles
without concern for their damage, as if they catch fire, it will put it out,
restoring it back to simply heavily smoking. This is a much, much quicker and
more effective strategy than it sounds.

Formulated by - This is who informed me of the strategy to obtain the vehicle.
Vehicles that were pointed out to be, but where I was given no strategy to
obtain it often lead to me developing the strategy, although most will have
the same entry for Discovered and Formulated by.

NOTE: Vehicles that are given to you (such as the Bright Yellow Comet) have
no strategy credits listed, as it is too simple to warrant credit. In
addition to this, I no longer list who created strategies when a vehicle is
easy to see and is made clear to you, such as if a target in a mission drives
it, meaning you must shoot them out. If anything more is needed, including
mission failure, credit will be mentioned however.

GTAIV - References to GTAIV refer specifically to the main game and storyline
of GTAIV itself, e.g. the game with Niko as the player character. For the
purposes of this guide, it is considered a completely separate game from both
the TLAD and TBoGT DLC episodes. This is the game that this guide is written
 for.

Hybrid Grill - This is a rather specialized term. Some PMP 600s in a few
missions (check the vehicle list for which have it) have a special "hybrid"
style grill not seen with other PMP 600s. It is called hybrid because it's a
cross between the normal grill (a lot of vertical bars), and the "Mafia" PMP
600 grill (a few vertical bars with a mesh backing). The hybrid grill has a
lot of vertical bars and the mesh backing.

So far, the PMP 600 is the only vehicle known to have a completely different
grill used only in story mission vehicles (with no pattern at that).

Jack - To jack a vehicle means to steal it. This is probably not a necessary
entry, but I figured I'd add it just in case.

Rare - This is used in the guide as an "unlockable" vehicle.

Tuner - A "tuner" car is a special modified version of the vehicle, usually
adding spoilers and other modifications. These often come in only one color.
They still have the same name as the base vehicle, so a tuner Sentinel is
still labeled "Sentinel" in the game. A lot of tuner cars in this game are
NOT "unique," but found randomly on the street (albeit rare at times), and
thus will not be included in this guide unless otherwise warranted.

Unique - This vehicle is unique and found in story missions only, or other
limited-time availability missions, and thus can be missed altogether.

Unlockable - This term in my guide denotes a vehicle that is only infinitely
available either through story missions and/or by unlocking it at some point
through the story, whether by completing a mission, finishing a side mission,
or even a vehicle that is only available during a side mission, but is
repeatedly available by doing the mission over and over at your leisure.

Unobtainable - A vehicle that, for whatever reason, cannot be obtained and/or
 stored with its properties.

NOTE: During some missions, AI drivers that you chase are given "super"
stats: speed, acceleration, turning, etc, designed to ensure that you cannot
catch up to them until the game deems it okay (usually involves the target
reaching their destination intact). If you are in danger of catching up or
passing them (or if you take a shortcut to do so), they hyper-accelerate to
stay in the lead. They also tend to slow down and "wait" for you if you fall
too far behind, although they never stop completely. This goes along with the
fact such chases are usually scripted.

========================================================
*2* SAFEHOUSES AND PARKING SPOTS
========================================================
These are places to store your vehicles. Whenever a parking spot is loaded
into the game's memory, the vehicles therein are restored to top condition and
health. Even destroyed vehicles will be repaired, so long as you get the
carcass of the vehicle into the spot. Even helicopters and boats may be saved
in parking spots. Each spot can hold two vehicles maximum. More than two cars
CAN be stored in a parking spot on a temporary basis, however. It will retain
3+ cars normally, however whenever you save and reload the game, you will find
only two cars remaining, chosen randomly from any that were "in the space" at
the time of saving.

Parking spots are ALWAYS available, even if you do not own the safehouse yet,
or have lost it via story progression.

It was brought to my attention by Matt J that a viable strategy for obtaining
most special vehicles in missions is to park it in a parking spot, then commit
suicide. This will fail the mission, and upon return to the parking spot, the
vehicle will still be there.

The total amount of vehicle storage available is 10 (5 parking spots).

1: Roman's Apartment, Mohawk Ave., Hove Beach (Broker)
-Unlocked after The Cousins Bellic, lost after Roman's Sorrow

2: Mallorie's Apartment, Joliet St., South Bohan (Bohan)
-Unlocked after Roman's Sorrow

3: Roman's New Apartment, Albany Ave., Middle Park East (Algonquin)
-Unlocked after Hostile Negotiation

4: Playboy X's Mansion, Xenotime St., Northwood (Algonquin)
-Unlocked after The Holland Play (choose Playboy X)

5: Ray's Apartment, Mahesh Ave., Alderney City (Alderney)
-Unlocked after Smackdown

NOTE: Motorcycles in parking spots have a particular behavior which can be
troublesome for extended storage. Every time the motorcycle is "loaded" into
the game world, it repositions it based on the "center" of the vehicle's
actual position, NOT on where it touches the ground. This means that every
time it is loaded, it spawns a little bit farther in whichever direction it is
leaning.

If leaning towards the curb, it will eventually reach the curb, and from then
on simply load while sitting against it. This is the position you want the
motorcycle to be in, as it will last indefinitely. However, if it leans
towards the street, it will continue creeping closer and closer, until it
finally is spawned IN the street, outside of the parking spot, and thus will
vanish for good once you leave the area. Always make sure motorcycles lean
towards the curb.

Some quirks parking spots have:
Hove Beach: During the mission Ivan the Not So Terrible, approaching the taxi
depot from the north (instead of south) will cause the chase to occur in a
way that goes right past the parking spot. A Chavos will spawn in the parking
spot, making it likely vehicles will be displaced.

South Bohan: If an obstacle is placed correctly on the road near the parking
spot, cars driving down the road often swerve directly into the spot,
displacing any vehicles there. This can get so bad that you cannot leave
without losing a car, because anytime you re-park the cars, another will
knock them out before you can leave. Be very careful about this!

Middle Park East: If you take a taxi to either the safehouse's icon, or to a
waypoint set to the icon, it will park in the middle of the parking spot,
displacing your existing cars. This is especially bad if you trip skip.

========================================================
*3* ADVANCED STRATEGIES
========================================================
This is a listing of various advanced strategies for obtaining special
vehicles , and other similar pursuits.

---------------------------
3.1 - EVERYTHING-PROOFED (CP) VEHICLES AND HOW TO CREATE THEM
---------------------------
Credit goes to noisyassassin, GTA_Loco, and people in this topic:
http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/genmessage.php?board=933037&topic=43464167
GTA_Loco writes the following:

COMPREHENSIVEPROOF VEHICLES
Dating the various girlfriends in the game allows you to apply proofings to
any vehicle in the game.

Comprehensiveproof (CP) is an attribute that renders a vehicle immune to any
attacks. It is a combination of bullet, explosion, fire, and damage proof
properties. The only things that can "destroy" a CP vehicle is flipping it on
its top, or losing it in water. The term comprehensiveproof was developed by
GTA_Loco to replace Everythingproof, which shared an abbreviation (EP) with
Explosionproof.

To do this requires unlocking the dating of girlfriends, at the soonest
unlocked via the mission First Date. It will also require scaring the girl,
failing the date and, with the three internet-based girlfriends, possibly
losing them altogether. They may be re-dated later on, but it will essentially
start the relationship over entirely.

It should be noted this is not a new feature in GTA; both San Andreas and Vice
City Stories had ways to apply proofings to vehicles, but in a much more
limited capacity, and from a story mission (meaning it could not be used at
all times).

STRATEGY: First, have a pistol, submachinegun, or grenades/molotovs. Next,
start a date. Once the girl is in the vehicle, fire your weapon. The girl will
leave the vehicle and the date will fail for scaring her off.

Once the date fails, a cutscene will play. Once it has played, you will be
left in the car, which will now be CP. To keep it, simply drive it to a
parking spot and leave it there. Note that these vehicles seem to have a
tendency to vanish from parking spots quite easily, or possible lose their
proofing (at least initially), so it may require persistence to keep a CP'd
vehicle!

If you attempt to do Police side-missions with a CP'd vehicle, it will remove
its proofings. You can always re-apply them afterwards, but just be aware that
you can't use them during the mission. Additionally, going on a date in a CP
car removes the property, so be careful when using the car!

---------------------------
3.2 - USING COPS TO TRANSPORT UNJACKABLE CARS
---------------------------
This strategy is courtesy of GTA Phreak. It gives a strategy to get cops to
jack UJ vehicles and "transport" them for you. Cops aren't bound by the
unjackable attribute some special vehicles have, making them a good method to
get difficult vehicles long distances. He writes the following:

USING COPS TO DRIVE UNJACKABLE CARS
In general the cops will chase your vehicle on foot as long as you're very
close. When you get a certain distance away from the cop he will stop chasing
you and head for the nearest vehicle (the effect is clearly visible if you
observe him while slowly pulling away).

They don't seem to prefer parked cars over stopped and still occupied cars,
but they will backtrack away from you if there's a car behind them. Cops in
cars will chase your vehicle and try to ram you regardless of what their car
(or bike) is. Beware that only real police cars are marked on radar. They will
leave their car if it gets flipped, catches fire or gets stuck for a prolonged
time. They will also exit their car if you exit your vehicle near them or you
get stuck for a prolonged time near them. Their car will not disappear as long
as there are cops in it, even if left out of sight. There's a more general
police unspawning effect that can remove them if you move very far away
(several blocks).

Getting your unjackable car transported by the cops is all about manipulating
the above to your advantage.

To get cops into the vehicle, get a wanted level (or dial 911-1) and
preferably jack the first police car that arrives at the scene. That will
leave cops on foot and you will be driving a vehicle. Drive back and forth
past the vehicle you want transported, - just beyond the distance where
they'll give up chasing you on foot, while keeping the target vehicle in
sight.

Once they're in the vehicle lead them away, they will chase you relentlessly.
In this phase you cannot leave your vehicle or get stuck near the vehicle
being transported, if you do the cops will abandon their vehicle. If you have
to change car you need to do it far enough away so that they'll still prefer
driving after you (I'm not sure how far that is, I never had to swap vehicle).
You can't really control if they flip the vehicle or damage it so much that it
catches fire. But avoid starting fires they can get caught in. If they get
stuck, double back, and if possible lead them off in a different direction
(use the situation to temporarily lose as many of the other pursuers as
possible).

Once you're getting close to your parking space allow the transported vehicle
to close up and to start ramming you. You want it to ram you from within your
parking space, with your own vehicle blocking right next to the space. Once
the target vehicle is within the space, exit. That will cause the cop driving
the transported vehicle to exit as well and start chasing you on foot. The
reaction is almost instant, so it isn't difficult to achieve.

Although your target vehicle most likely isn't equipped with a shotgun, all
other cops you dragged along will also exit their police cars, and they will
have shotguns, so don't linger. Either sprint inside your safehouse and
save/sleep off the wanted level or sprint down the street and grab a different
vehicle (possibly one you had parked earlier and rammed a bit down the
street). You need it to be a bit down the street, otherwise you could get the
target vehicle re-jacked. Leave the area as fast as possible, allowing the
parking space to store the target vehicle before the cops can mess with it.

Executing a mission replay might also work, but using the phone under fire is
difficult. Although you only need a 1 star wanted level to do all this, it
will eventually escalate to 2 stars because you'll be evading arrest (by the
cop driving your target vehicle). It is however much easier to make progress
at 1 star, so get as much distance as possible before the wanted level rises.

Keep in mind, the mission must NOT be active to accomplish this! Cops won't
touch cars "marked" as part of the mission, so the mission must be inactive
(pass or fail) to pull this off.

Following is a list of vehicles this strategy may be effective for obtaining.
They are rated with one to five stars, based on the theoretical value of this
trick vs. simply pushing the car, based on factors such as distance to travel,
and the weight of the vehicle that must be pushed. All of these are
theoretical, and this trick may not work on some vehicles (for whatever
reason). Attempt at your own risk.

========================================================
*4* UNIQUE VEHICLES
========================================================
These vehicles only appear during story missions, and once the game is
completed, cannot be acquired without cheating.

---------------------------
4.1 - Roman's Taxi
---------------------------
Missions: The Cousins Bellic, It's Your Call, Bleed Out, Easy Fare,
Jamaican Heat, Roman's Sorrow
Difficulty: *
Required: Some mission failure or high Roman like stat (60%+)
Discovered by: Common knowledge (Swift helped with identifying it as
unique)

Strategy: Just keep the one you can summon using Roman's friendship perk,
although several of the listed missions leave you with a free one upon
completion. You also use this during Roman's taxi missions.

NOTE: It is missable because after Hostile Negotiation, a Cavalcade will
come for you instead of a Roman's Taxi when you call for a taxi, and you
can no longer complete Roman's Taxi missions after a certain point, and
even then, once you complete 10 taxi missions, they become unavailable
anyways.

---------------------------
4.2 - Laundromat (1st of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: Hung Out to Dry (Vlad Glebov)
Difficulty: *
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: Common knowledge

Strategy: This is the van driven by the Laundromat owner. Instead of
going to the front of the building, go around back and get inside. When
Niko breaks the window to get in, you'll fail the mission for scaring
the dry cleaner. Just drive it to a parking spot. There is no way to
obtain this one without mission failure, so just go for the other one.

NOTE: This vehicle can appear randomly on the streets, but ONLY if you
are driving one yourself, or much less likely, if one was recently in the
game's memory (such as after a mission featuring it). It is thus still
unique, as unless you obtain it in or after a mission where it is used,
you won't see one elsewhere.

---------------------------
4.3 - Police Stockade (1st of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: Three Leaf Clover (Patrick McReary)
Difficulty: Impossible (without cheats)
Required: Mission failure, a heavy vehicle, and huge cojones
Discovered by: Helped by Metzger0528

Strategy 1: Two of these barricade the streets after you escape the bank.
The problem is they are UJ entirely. Even if you fail the mission, they
will be UJ. The only alternative is to push them to a parking spot
afterwards. The problem? You keep that 5-star wanted level after failing
the mission, so you'd have to push it with 5 stars. It's technically
doable (hence why it's in this section), but don't count on succeeding.
Just grab the next one available. The major kicker is, you can't escape
the 5-star level first, otherwise the trucks will vanish when you return
to push it back.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

Strategy 2: Fail the mission near these, then use the "remove wanted
level" cheat (267-555-0100). Get a good pushing vehicle and begin a slow
push towards the Middle Park East parking spot. The cheat may require use
a few more times during the push, so keep that in mind.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

Strategy 3: Use the trick outlined in section 3.2 (cops jack UJ vehicles for
you) by failing the mission, then getting in a vehicle and remaining near the
Police Stockades. Wait for a cop to get in, and proceed with the usual
strategy with this process. Keep in mind this is not confirmed to work, so if
the police won't jack the stockades, it could be that they just won't for
some reason (and thus this strategy won't work).

---------------------------
4.4 - Laundromat (2nd of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: Meltdown (Ray Boccino)
Difficulty: ** or *
Required: Nothing (mission failure unless you're fast)
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Strategy 1: During the chase, the traffic that appears is scripted (like
in all chases). When you reach Hematite St., there will be a line of cars
waiting for the light (ignored, of course, by your targets). In this
lineup is a Laundromat truck. If you keep up with the target's car, just
get out of your vehicle, jack the Laundromat, and finish the mission with
it instead (see 5.21 - Lustered Silver Banshee w/ black stripe for tips
on how to make sure you keep the Laundromat post-mission.)
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

Strategy 2: Basically the same as one, except drive the Laundromat right
to a parking spot, failing the mission. Much easier to pull off.

---------------------------
4.5 - Police Stockade (2nd of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: Tunnel of Death (Derrick McReary)
Difficulty: ***** or **
Required: Heavy pushing vehicle or mission failure
Discovered by: Chris Allen

Strategy 1: While the Stockade is now UJ, you can push it back with a
hefty vehicle. The Presidente you move to obviously won't do, so jack
something else. A Patriot is ideal, so double-drive one to the switch
site if necessary. Once there, make the switch.

Now comes the hard, long road (literally and figuratively). You must
double-drive the Patriot and Presidente all the way to your Alderney
parking spot, using the Patriot to push the Stockade. This is incredibly
tedious. Try backing into the Stockade to push it, as this causes less
damage to the engine, allowing it to last longer. You can't afford to risk
a star to jack a new Patriot en route.

Make sure not to ever travel too far from either truck, or else it will
vanish. If you get a wanted level, call Kiki to clear it, and wait one
in-game day (~48 minutes of real time) for her to recharge. When you reach
the big intersection, you can make a choice. East will be easier, but you
must push the Stockade up a hill. This will take almost twice as long,
but is the safe route. The alternative is north. Push it to the overpass
over the road your safehouse is on. To the east, there should be a
staircase down, and beside that, an alley with a dirt mound at the end.
Push the Stockade off the mound, making sure to aim it to the north and
not south, and let it fall. Assuming it lands on its wheels (this isn't
guaranteed), drive down too (having parked the Presidente near that
staircase, where it'll stay for now), and begin pushing again. When there's
a break in the building to the north, push it through, and you're there!
Well, almost. A little positioning should get it into the space. Ditch the
Patriot and run up to the Presidente and proceed to finish the mission.
If dome right, the Stockade should be waiting there after the mission.
Congratulations on obtaining the hardest vehicle to get without getting
a mission failure!

Strategy 2: Once in the Police Stockade and cleared of your wanted level,
drive to a parking spot and blow it up using a grenade (a rocket may
blow it off the spot). You can also shoot the engine until it explodes
(this is the safest option). Quickly run inside and save the game, and
it should still be there. Parking spots tend to eat destroyed cars, so
time is of the essence.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades and Matt J

Strategy 3: As the mission takes off in the Booth Tunnel, Packie gets out
of the Biff opposite you and runs behind a patrol car parked behind the
Stockade. Just run up to him before you kill off all of the guards, and
shoot him until he dies. You will fail the mission and get the "Packie
is Dead" message, but the truck will stay in place and you'll probably
only have a 1-star wanted level. You can then just drive the truck to a
nearby parking spot.
Formulated by: Metzger0528

Strategy 4: Use the strategy in 3.2 (Cop Transport), except use the mission
vehicle instead of jacking the cop car. To get the wanted level, shoot the
ground in sight of the cops. Once it's in the parking spot, kill the cops that
are on foot, and drive away fast. Lose the level, finish the mission, and
confirm.

---------------------------
4.6 - Romero
---------------------------
Mission: Undertaker (Francis McReary)
Difficulty: ***
Required: Nothing / Mission failure
Discovered by: Neo

Strategy 1: This vehicle first appears at the start of the mission as the
Hearse parked outside the church. It is UJ at this point though. You can
either go after it and jack it after finishing the mission, or if you
don't want to bother and don't mind failing, drive it to a parking spot
when you get to drive it, and then shoot Packie.
Formulated by: Neo

Strategy 2: If you choose to try and wrest it from the driver post-mission,
shoot at the vehicle. There's a good chance the driver will get scared and
abandon the vehicle, leaving you free to take it (the other cars seem to
be UJ after the mission, at least before they're spooked). Watch out for
cops when getting it, though.
Formulated by: Neo

Strategy 3: Simply run after the Romero after the mission. If you killed
Francis, it will turn left, heading to a dead end where it u-turns. Block
it with another car (taken from the cemetery parking lot), and jack it.
If you killed Derrick, the Romero will be right next to you after the
cutscene. Just quickly run up to it and jack it.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

NOTE: This vehicle can appear randomly on the streets, but ONLY if you
are driving one yourself, or much less likely, if one was recently in the
game's memory (such as after a mission featuring it). It is thus still
unique, as unless you obtain it in or after a mission where it is used,
you won't see one elsewhere.

========================================================
*5* LUSTERED VEHICLES
========================================================
Lustered vehicles are vehicles with a "luster" to them. A luster is a
secondary color that can only be seen well in certain light. The vehicles
with lusters are predominantly black, but some are silver, and a select
few are other colors. The best light for viewing lusters is different
depending on the base color. Black is best between 11am and 3pm, while
white/silver lusters are best seen in twilight (dawn or dusk). Direct
sunlight between 11am and 3pm often drowns out white/silver cars' lusters
entirely. Generally, the lighter the base color, the closer to twilight it
should be viewed at.

There are six known luster colors at this time: red, blue, green, yellow,
purple, and orange. Of these, orange, purple, and red are the most visible,
although luster visibility depends on time of day, base car color (usually
black), and the vehicle itself (lusters on Sultans are easier to see than
on Dukes, for example). It is not known yet whether all vehicles that can
be lustered can have all known colors. Orange is especially unknown, as it
often looks like either red or yellow, depending on the vehicle.

Some lustered vehicles seem to also be found in traffic, including vehicles
that cannot be found lustered in missions. So far, the only colors seen in
traffic are green and purple, but blue and possibly red may also be. Despite
this, I have yet to physically match up a luster vehicle found in traffic
directly aside one from a mission, so there may be differences anyways I
can't see at the moment. All in all, it seems like even if some lustered
vehicles are found in traffic, the selection is very small, and few if
any may actually be the same as ones from missions.

Besides that information, there is little unifying theory behind lusters,
such as what colors the vehicle can be (silver and dark green threw a wrench
in that), what vehicle have what colors, and so on. Beyond the basic
mechanics of how lusters work, it's likely a case-by-case basis, hence the
following Luster Table, listing what colors known vehicles have
(mission-based ONLY).

---------------------------
5.1 - Lustered Silver Merit
---------------------------
Mission: First Date (Roman Bellic)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Unknown

Description: This is a silver Merit with a luster to it.

Strategy: This is Michelle's car, the one you drive during the mission.
Just keep it intact and park it after finishing the mission.

---------------------------
5.2 - Lustered White Blista Compact w/ dark gray siding (1st of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: Clean Getaway (Vlad Glebov)
Difficulty: *
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: Justin Blalock, Esperanto (luster)

Description: This Blista Compact is a pure white color, compared to the
"normal" variation of this color, which is actually light silver. The siding
is also a dark gray instead of the usual black, and the car itself is
lustered.

Strategy: This is the target car. The only way to keep it is to fail, so
after claiming the car, damage it (just enough) to fail the mission once
in a parking spot. Alternatively, blow it up by throwing a grenade out
the window of another car at high speed (vehicles that fail the mission if
destroyed are usually retained in this way, but others aren't).

---------------------------
5.3 - Lustered White Blista Compact w/ dark gray siding (2nd of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: Ivan the Not So Terrible (Vlad Glebov)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Justin Blalock, Esperanto (luster)

Description: This Blista Compact is a pure white color, compared to the
"normal" variation of this color, which is actually light silver. The siding
is also a dark gray instead of the usual black, and the car itself is
lustered.

Strategy: Vlad provides this car for you at the very beginning of the
mission. Just drive it the across the street into your parking spot
before heading out.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------------------------
5.4 - Lustered Black Ruiner w/ yellow siding
---------------------------
Mission: Ivan the Not So Terrible (Vlad Glebov)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Anderson

Description: A black Ruiner with yellow siding and a luster.

Strategy: Ivan the Terrible drives this during the chase. Keeping it is
simple. Get in BEFORE chasing him through the structure, then after the
mission is over, return to it and drive to a parking spot. Getting in
first is important, as otherwise it usually vanishes by the time the
mission is over.

---------------------------
5.5 - Lustered Black/Silver DF8-90 (1st of 4)
---------------------------
Mission: Crime and Punishment (Mikhail Faustin)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A silver DF8-90 with a black roof. The entire vehicle is
lustered, however it is most visible on the roof.

Strategy: This is parked in Faustin's driveway, in front of the always-
spawning Turismo. Just drive it to a parking spot if you want it (although
to make this mission easier, you may wish to defer it to one of the other
missions).
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------------------------
5.6 - Lustered Black Speedo
---------------------------
Mission: Crime and Punishment (Mikhail Faustin)
Difficulty: **
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A fully black Speedo with a luster. The business who's logo
is on the side is randomized, as always.

Strategy: There are three of these, and they are the mission targets. Any
of them may be lustered, but the true target (with the flatscreens) is
unobtainable without failing. Find one of the others, pull it over, take
it to your Hove parking spot, then go north to the police station and get
another police car. You can spot the true target because you may see the
flatscreens in the back, and it has two people in the cabin (driver and
passenger/guard).

5.7 - Lustered Black/Silver DF8-90 (2nd of 4)
---------------------------
Mission: Do You Have Protection? (Mikhail Faustin)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A silver DF8-90 with a black roof. The entire vehicle is
lustered, however it is most visible on the roof.

Strategy: This is parked in Faustin's driveway, in front of the always-
spawning Turismo. Just drive it to a parking spot if you want it.

Mission: No Love Lost (Mikhail Faustin)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A silver DF8-90 with a black roof. The entire vehicle is
lustered, however it is most visible on the roof.

Strategy: This is parked in Faustin's driveway, in front of the always-
spawning Turismo. Just drive it to a parking spot if you want it.

5.10 - Lustered Silver Oracle
---------------------------
Mission: Easy As Can Be (Brucie Kibbutz)
Difficulty: *
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: This is a silver Oracle with a luster to it.

Strategy: This is the Oracle Brucie has dispatched you to collect for
him. The only way to get this is to fail the mission. Just leave it in a
parking spot, then drive far enough away for the mission to fail.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------------------------
5.11 - Lustered Black Schafter w/ silver grill (1st of 3)
---------------------------
Mission: Easy As Can Be (Brucie Kibbutz)
Difficulty: ***
Required: Nothing (Mission failure for drastically easier task)
Discovered by: Lancet Jades (help from GTA_Loco)

Description: This is a normal black Schafter with black rims, except
that it has a silver grill as opposed to the normal black grill. It also
has a luster.

Strategy 1: Follow the mission as normal up until you get in the Rivas'
car. When the Schafter appears in the alley after the cutscene, kill the
driver and claim the car. Carefully drive the car along with Rivas' car
back to your Hove Beach parking spot, park the Schafter, and finish the
mission. Alternatively, you can push the Schafter with the Oracle (or
vice versa). Just be careful, as in this game, you seem to get a star
after pushing one vehicle with another too much (reckless driving or
something). Long pushes where you maintain contact seem to be okay, but
try to avoid having to re-hit the car you're pushing too much. A mix of
these two strategies seems to work the best.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

Strategy 2: Same as strategy 1, except just fail the mission by driving
the Schafter back to Hove Beach. When you go far enough away from the
Oracle you're supposed to take to Brucie, the mission will fail.
Formulated by: GTA_Loco and Lancet Jades

---------------------------
5.12 - Lustered Black Sultan
---------------------------
Mission: Easy As Can Be (Brucie Kibbutz)
Difficulty: ***
Required: Nothing (Mission failure for drastically easier task)
Discovered by: GTA_Loco

Description: This is a black Sultan with a luster. Both varieties (hood
scoop and no scoop) are available.

Strategies: See 5.9 - Lustered Black Schafter w/ silver grill's
strategies. Sometimes a normal black Sultan (or two) appear, so you may
have to restart the mission several times to find the color(s) you
desire. Unlike the Schafter, two Sultans come after you after you leave
the alley. One is parked outside the nearby exit, and the other drives
in quickly after you leave.

---------------------------
5.13 - Lustered Light Blue SuperGT
---------------------------
Mission: No. 1 (Brucie Kibbutz)
Difficulty: ****
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: GTA_Loco and robrabbitman (lustered)

Description: This is a light blue colored Super GT. Normally only darker
blues are available for it. On top of that, it can also be lustered.

Strategy 1: You must fail the race to be able to obtain this car. Winning
it would delete all your competitors, so you won’t be able to find this
anymore afterwards. Complete the mission up to where you begin the race,
but don't enter the marker. Find another vehicle (preferably a big one,
such as an SUV), and park it near your Comet. Shoot Brucie, killing him
and failing the mission.

Next, get into the vehicle you fetched, and drive at the Super GT, trying
to flip it over. Once flipped, the driver will flee. Proceed to flip it
back onto its wheels, and then push it to the Hove Beach safehouse using
the heavy vehicle you got. Be careful not to attract a wanted level
during the push, or the police will make life difficult.

Make sure you fail the mission by killing Brucie, otherwise he will drive
you back to his house after failing. And if you don't force the other
driver from his car, or kill him (after Brucie), the car will vanish even
if you reach the parking spot. Not to mention he may try and drive away.
To help avoid a wanted level for shooting Brucie, get one star before
shooting him, then do so. When the mission ends, your star will be lost,
the shots that killed him counting towards the level beforehand.
Formulated by: GTA_Loco

Strategy 2: Instead of an SUV, you could dial 911 and call a Firetruck,
which has much better pushing power. Proper use of pushing could prevent
a wanted level entirely during the push back to Hove.

---------------------------
5.14 - Lustered Black Stallion (1st of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: Escuela of the Streets (Manny Escuela)
Difficulty: *
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: Common knowledge

Description: This Stallion is black with a luster. Lusters seem
particularly easy to see on this car.

Strategy: Attack the car to fail, then quickly get in. You should have it
after the mission failure cutscene plays. Keeping it after the mission is
impossible, as it will always vanish, even if it is in a parking spot, so
failure is the only option.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------------------------
5.15 - Lustered Black Cavalcade w/ dark rims
---------------------------
Mission: Deconstruction for Beginners (Playboy X)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: -Morbid-

Description: This is a black Cavalcade with a luster to it. Its rims are
black, unlike the usual silver or gold for Cavalcades, making it even
more unique.

Strategy 1: This vehicle is the one Playboy X has the weapons stocked in.
After getting in and retrieving the weapons, get back in and drive it to
a parking spot, then proceed with the mission.
Formulated by: -Morbid-

Strategy 2: There is another of these dark-rimmed Cavalcades parked
inside the actual construction site. One of the guards falls on top of it
when/if you snipe him at the start. After clearing the area, but before
finishing the mission, drive it to a safehouse. It's probably easier to
just get Playboy X's Cavalcade though.

5.16 - Lustered Dark Gray Sabre GT w/ black stripe
---------------------------
Mission: Photo Shoot (Playboy X)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: GTA_Loco

Description: This car is a dark gray color with a black stripe, similar
to the gray/black Banshee.

Strategy: This is parked around the basketball court where the target is
located. Take the one you want to a parking spot, then continue the
mission and complete it.

---------------------------
5.17 - Lustered Silver Patriot
---------------------------
Mission: Photo Shoot (Playboy X)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Anderson

Description: These Patriots are the usual silver color for lustered
vehicles. One of them has the U.S. Flag emblem on the side, the other
doesn't. Choose whichever you'd like.

Strategy: These are parked around the basketball court where the target
is located. Take the one you want to a parking spot, then continue the
mission and complete it. Both can be taken, if desired, along with the
Sabre GT.

---------------------------
5.18 - Lustered Black Sentinel w/ black rims
---------------------------
Mission: Wrong is Right (U.L. Paper)
Difficulty: ****
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: GTA_Loco

Description: This car is a black Sentinel with black rims. Normal
lustered Sentinels have silver rims. It is also UJ.

Strategy: This is the car Oleg uses during the chase. The same tactics apply
as other vehicles used by the chase, namely shoot them through the window
whenever you get the chance. The problem lies in the fact it is UJ after the
mission ends. To keep it, you must push it to a parking spot with another
vehicle. Either Middle Park East or Northwood will work, although Northwood
may be better. Also, Oleg's body must be knocked out of the car for it to be
saved. This can be accomplished by repeatedly rolling the car with another
large vehicle (a Firetruck is recommended).

---------------------------
5.19 - Lustered Black Emperor
---------------------------
Mission: Dust Off (U.L. Paper)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades and Anderson (for reminding me)

Description: A black Emperor with a luster. This is a normal version, not
the "beater" version.

Strategy: This car awaits you after finishing the mission in the airport.
Presumably the guys who collect the helicopter drove it. Look alongside a
nearby building for it.

---------------------------
5.20 - Lustered Black Dukes
---------------------------
Mission: Lure (Francis McReary)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades and GTA_Loco

Description: This is a black Dukes with a luster to it. The extra features
that Dukes have (air intake on hood, or just a raised section) are still
randomized.

Strategy: This car is on the street below the apartment of the guy you have
to execute. Once you reach the building, get in the Dukes, then get right
back out to "mark" it as your current car (otherwise it'll vanish after you
finish the mission). Then simply descend to the bottom of the building
after killing the guy, and drive it to a parking spot.

---------------------------
5.21 - Lustered Random Oracle
---------------------------
Mission: Harboring a Grudge (Patrick McReary)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Esperanto

Description: This Oracle is a random base color (including silver, black, and
red), with a random luster.

Strategy: Provided for you at the start of the mission, parked right outside
Patrick's house. Take it to a parking spot and then finish the mission, as the
misson will require using another vehicle to finish. Don't forget to confirm
afterwards!

---------------------------
5.22 - Lustered Black Cognoscenti
---------------------------
Mission: Actions Speak Louder Than Words (Gerald McReary)
Difficulty: ***
Required: Mission failure and a pushing vehicle
Discovered by: Anderson

Description: A black Cognoscenti with a luster. Simple as that.

Strategy: This is the car driven by the Ancelotti goons during the mission.
To obtain it means to fail the mission, since it is destroyed by the end
without fail. Unfortunately, it is also UJ during the mission. Actually
getting it requires damaging the car at the start, so the mission is failed,
then using another vehicle to push it to a parking spot (preferably in Middle
Park East).

---------------------------
5.23 - Lustered Tuner Oracle
---------------------------
Mission: Taking in the Trash (Ray Boccino)
Difficulty: *
Required: Pushing vehicle
Discovered by: Esperanto

Description: A tuner Oracle, which has modified bumpers and two exhaust pipes,
with a luster. The base color is a silver/metal gray color.

Strategy: This car is driven by assailants after the diamond trash bags have
been collected at both locations. Shoot them dead, then push the car to a
parking spot with the garbage truck. Note that this can be a difficult mission
to get a desired luster in, since there is only one car, and you must collect
all the trash bags before it appears.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------------------------
5.24 - Lustered Random Primo
---------------------------
Mission: Taking in the Trash (Ray Boccino)
Difficulty: *
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: Esperanto

Description: A lustered randomly-colored Primo. The luster seems to appear
rarely, and is extremely difficult to see on any base color except silver.
It is possible that the silver color is the only color that can have a luster.

Strategy: Niko and the crew are in this car during the mission failure
cutscene, if the mission was failed by the Trashmaster either being destroyed
or abandoned. The minimum to trigger this cutscene is to meet Luca and the
gang, receive the sanitation worker outfit, then ENTER THE TRUCK! Immediately
exit, then run or drive away from the Trashmaster. Once you're about one block
away, the mission will fail.

---------------------------
5.25 - Lustered Silver Banshee w/ black stripe (1st of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: Meltdown (Ray Boccino)
Difficulty: **
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Brendan Mills / Jesse Giramma / Anderson (luster)

Description: This is a Banshee with a gray color and a black center
stripe. This comes in both hard top and convertible varieties (randomly
chosen). Lusters on this car tend to be very difficult to see, even
moreso than lusters normally are. Best light seems to be around noon on
a sunny day.

Strategy: Niko automatically jacks this vehicle after the cutscene at
the first destination. Simply drive it to a parking spot when you are
supposed to meet Ray at the bridge - no mission failure necessary. Just
make sure to reach that point with it intact.
Formulated by: Brendan Mills / Jesse Giramma

---------------------------
5.26 - Lustered Silver Lokus
---------------------------
Mission: Meltdown (Ray Boccino)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Anderson

Description: A silver Lokus with a luster. As it stands, this is the ONLY
lustered car available in both black and silver. The luster on this car is
especially hard to see, as it is extremely faint. I would recommend going
for red, as green and blue (and possibly yellow) are all but impossible to
discern.

Strategy: Luca's crew drives this in the chase. Wait for them to reach the
park, then get into it (it will be badly damaged) to mark it as "yours." Get
back out, finish the battle with Luca and his goons, then get back in after
retrieving the diamonds and proceed to finish the mission, then park it.
When you actually enter the mission marker though, GET OUT of the Lokus to
do so! Vehicles tend to vanish after the final cutscene otherwise.

---------------------------
5.27 - Lustered Black Contender
---------------------------
Mission: Smackdown (Derrick McReary)
Difficulty: ***
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: GTA_Loco

Description: A black contender with a flat back (both smooth and rough
versions) and a luster.

Strategy: The target, Bucky, drives this truck. Follow him to his house,
then take out all the targets. After cleaning up, get in the truck and
lose your wanted level to pass the mission, then drive to a parking spot
at your leisure.

---------------------------
5.28 - Lustered Black Stallion (2nd of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: Smackdown (Derrick McReary)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: This Stallion is black with a luster. Lusters seem
particularly easy to see on this car. This can either have a hard top, or
be a convertible.

Strategy: This car is parked in the driveway of the house the target stops
at. After he gets out, take out him and the guy outside the house, then
get in and drive to a parking spot. It seems to vanish if you wait to take
out all targets, so get it done before then.

---------------------------
5.29 - Lustered Blue Primo
---------------------------
Mission: Undertaker (Francis McReary)
Difficulty: ***
Required: Nothing (Mission failure makes it easier)
Discovered by: Esperanto

Description: A Primo that is lighter blue than the usual blue color. It also
has a luster. Only the red luster easily shows on this car, and the blue
luster is probably impossible to detect.

Strategy: This car is parked across the street from the church once the
shootout starts. Obtaining it without failing the mission can be difficult.
Kill all of the attackers, then get in the Romero. Get back out, and wait. One
more car full of Albanians will show up. Kill them, then double-drive the
Romero and the Primo to a parking spot (Middle Park East is the best choice).
Be careful about attracting police attention when killing the enemies in the
final car that shows up!

Mission: Undertaker (Francis McReary)
Difficulty: ***
Required: Nothing (Mission failure makes it easier)
Discovered by: Esperanto

Description: A Primo that is darker red than the usual red color. It also has
a luster. Only the blue luster easily shows on this car, and the red luster is
probably impossible to detect.

5.31 - Lustered Dark Green Vincent (1st of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: She's a Keeper (Gerald McReary)
Difficulty: *
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: This is a dark green colored Vincent with dark rims. The
luster on this vehicle seems to rarely appear, so consider that when
trying for one.

Strategy: This is the vehicle you drive Gracie to the new safehouse in.
Go park it at a parking spot, then fail the mission somehow (shoot at
the car until it catches fire, or bash it up). Once it catches fire,
you'll get the mission fail notice. Quickly go and save the game, then
reload. The Vincent should be sitting in your parking spot intact.

5.32 - Lustered "Mafia" PMP 600 (1st of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: She's a Keeper (Gerald McReary)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: These PMP 600s have a spoiler like other Mafia PMP 600s, as
well as a luster. Note that the default black color of these cars (like
most lustered vehicles) is a different black from the normal gloss black
color of actual "Mafia" PMP 600s. Thus, if you are collecting all
variations of this lustered vehicle, collecting a non-lustered version
may be a good idea.

Strategy: Two of these cars chase you in the mission (of the four cars
that give chase). Kill the drivers and gunners of all four cars
(sometimes more cars show up though), and then drive the Vincent towards
the destination until Niko says "we're keeping her." Now you may return
and claim this vehicle off of the street and drive it to a safehouse, not
failing the mission for going too far from the Vincent with Gracie.

5.33 - Lustered "Mafia" Sentinel (1st of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: She's a Keeper (Gerald McReary)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Matt J

Description: This is a black tuner Sentinel - with a spoiler and other
body kit enhancements used by the Mafia, except that it has a luster.

Strategy: Two of these cars chase you in the mission (of the four cars
that give chase). Kill the drivers and gunners of all four cars
(sometimes more cars show up though), and then drive the Vincent towards
the destination until Niko says "we're keeping her." Now you may return

5.34 - Lustered Dark Green Vincent (2nd of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: Diamond's are a Girl's Best Friends (Gerald McReary)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: This is a dark green colored Vincent with dark rims. The
luster on this vehicle seems to rarely appear, so consider that when
trying for one.

Strategy: Again, this is the vehicle you drive in, this time to the
exchange. After finishing up the mission, run back to where it was
parked and claim it. You may need to get in before following Packie and
park it closer to where the missions ends to ensure it's not deleted,
though.

---------------------------
5.35 - Lustered Silver Sanchez
---------------------------
Mission: Truck Hustle (Phil Bell)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: This is a silver Sanchez with a luster. Like the Hellfury,
the luster is extremely strong, completely obscuring any trace of silver
unless it is generated without a luster.

Strategy: This motorcycle is provided for you at the end of the mission,
waiting nearby at the abandoned mansion. Just take it to a parking spot,
no muss, no fuss.

---------------------------
5.36 - Lustered Black Schafter w/ silver grill (2nd of 3)
---------------------------
Mission: Pegorino's Pride (Jimmy Pegorino)
Difficulty: *
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: Swift, confirmed by GTA_Loco

Description: This is a normal black Schafter with black rims, except
that it has a silver grill as opposed to the normal black grill. It also
has a luster.

Strategy: You drive this car during the mission. To obtain this vehicle,
however, you must fail, as it vanishes with Pegorino at the end even if
you leave it at a parking spot. Just fail the mission by shooting Pegorino,
and take it to a parking spot.

---------------------------
5.37 - Lustered Silver Sultan
---------------------------
Mission: Pegorino's Pride (Jimmy Pegorino)
Difficulty: **
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: This is a silver Sultan with a luster. The luster is faint,
like in most silver cars.

Strategy: The enemy mafia goon drives this car during the chase near the end
of the mission. After slaying the enemies and retrieving the money at the
end, get back in Pegorino's Schafter for a second, then get out and get
into the Sultan (Pegorino will follow, but only if you get in the Schafter
first). Drive to the mission finish point, and then to a parking spot
afterwards. As with the Schafter, get Pegorino out of the car before
finishing the mission, otherwise it may disappear anyways.

5.39 - Lustered Black Coquette
---------------------------
Mission: Payback (Jimmy Pegorino)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: This is a black Coquette with a luster to it.

Strategy: This car is driven by the goons you have to follow. Simply
follow the mission until you arrive at the building where the exchange
is occurring, then take out everyone and jack the car afterwards.

5.40 - Lustered White Oracle
---------------------------
Mission: ...Pest Control (Jimmy Pegorino)
Difficulty: **
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Pepe

Description: A cream white Oracle with a luster to it.

Strategy: This is one of the two cars you follow in this mission. Simply
shoot the driver out, or collect it after the ambush at the gas station
(although the direct approach is faster) and drive it to a parking spot.

5.41 - Lustered "Mafia" PMP 600 w/ hybrid grill
---------------------------
Mission: ...Pest Control (Jimmy Pegorino)

Description: These are unique for various reasons. First, they have a
spoiler like other Mafia PMP 600s, as well as a luster. Aside from that,
they also have a hybrid grill. Note that the default black color of
these cars (like most lustered vehicles) is a different black from the

5.42 - Lustered Silver Comet
---------------------------
Mission: Hating the Haters (Bernie Crane)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Dmitry Lebedev, also found/confirmed by ShadowDemon99

Description: This looks like a normal gray Comet at first, but it
actually has a luster.

Strategy: This car is found parked right down the street from Bernie's
place when starting this mission. Just drive it to a parking spot and go
on with the mission.

5.43 - Lustered Black SuperGT
---------------------------
Mission: Union Drive (Bernie Crane)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: This is a black SuperGT with a luster.

Strategy: This car is driven by the blackmailers through the chase.
Since the chase is scripted, simply follow the mission until they get
out of the car, then kill them. Get back in the car Bernie is in, then
get back out (so he follows you) and get in the SuperGT. Finish the
mission and drive it to a parking spot.

5.44 - Lustered Black Lokus
---------------------------
Mission: Entourage (Gambetti)

5.45 - Lustered Black and Silver Rancher
---------------------------
Mission: If the Price is Right (Roman Bellic - Deal)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing (Mission failure if you want to follow Revenge)
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: This Rancher is black, with a silver stripe along the side.
It is always the pickup variety, but does not always have boxes in the back.
It also has a luster.

Strategy 1: Pick this to chase the truck in, and drive it to a parking
spot after the mission is over.

Strategy 2: If you want to get this vehicle, but don't want to commit to
the Deal story path, fail the mission after reaching the Rancher. Either
let the truck get away, kill Phil, or something else.

---------------------------
5.46 - Lustered Black Huntley Sport
---------------------------
Mission: A Revenger's Tragedy or Out of Commission (Roman Bellic)
Difficulty: **** (** with Mission failure)
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades (lots of people noticed it, but for wrong reasons)

Description: This Huntley Sport is black with a luster to it. The trim
around the sides is randomly colored too.

Strategy 1: Once the chase is over, get in another vehicle and push this to
a parking spot. You will probably have to kill everyone at the initial
site to safely do this. After finishing the mission, you MUST go to the
parking spot and check it (since the game doesn't save vehicles during
missions), otherwise it WILL vanish if you save and reload the game.
Formulated by: Common knowledge

Strategy 2: If you're willing to fail the mission, instead of starting
the chase, shoot Jacob until you fail the mission while he's sitting in
the car at the start, then push the Huntley Sport to your Alderney parking
spot from its default location. This is a much shorter distance than from
the compound at the end.
Formulated by: robrabbitman

Strategy 3: Use the strategy in 3.2 (Cop Transport). You may need to push this
out near the street to get it to work, however.

5.47 - Lustered Black Schafter w/ silver grill (3rd of 3)
---------------------------
Mission: A Revenger's Tragedy (Roman Bellic - Deal)
Difficulty: **
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: This is a normal black Schafter with black rims, except
that it has a silver grill as opposed to the normal black grill. It also has
a luster. For what it's worth, these are the ONLY lustered Schafters I've
been able to find with a blue luster (though they mostly have yellow).

Strategy: A few of these are in the compound you assault after the chase.
Drive one to a parking spot, then resume the mission. Just be careful not
to destroy it during the firefight. After finishing the mission, you MUST
go to the parking spot and check it (since the game doesn't save vehicles
during missions), otherwise it WILL vanish if you save and reload the game.

Description: This is a normal black Rebla with a luster to it (very often
yellow).

Strategy: A few of these are in the compound you assault after the chase.
Drive one to a parking spot, then resume the mission. Just be careful not

5.51 - Lustered Silver Banshee w/ black stripe (2nd of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: Hossan random encounter
Difficulty: **
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: fik

Description: This is a Banshee with a gray color and a black center
stripe. This comes in both hard top and convertible varieties (randomly
chosen). Lusters on this car tend to be very difficult to see, even
moreso than lusters normally are. Best light seems to be around noon on
a sunny day.

Strategy: This is the car driven by the target in this mission. Shoot
him dead in the car, or drive him from it by bashing it, then pick up the
money, claim the car, and finish the mission, taking it to a parking
spot afterwards.

*6* SPECIALLY COLORED/FEATURED VEHICLES
========================================================
These vehicles all have some special color of feature that the vehicle
usually does not have.

---------------------------
6.1 - Black Esperanto
---------------------------
Mission: Free Roam
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: GTA_Loco

Description: An Esperanto with a flat black paintjob not otherwise
available.

Strategy: Found inside Roman's cab depot, either with or without a driver.
Just jack it and drive it to a parking spot. However, your last chance to
get this vehicle is before picking up Roman in the mission Roman's Sorrow,
as the depot is burned down afterwards.

---------------------------
6.2 - Beige Willard (1st of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: It's Your Call (Roman Bellic)
Difficulty: *
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: This is just a Willard with a beige paintjob.

Strategy: This is the car the Albanian loan sharks drive, and is UJ. Smash
the window or otherwise attack the loan sharks to fail the mission, then
simply drive it back to your apartment's parking space, as it loses UJ
after the mission has been failed.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------------------------
6.3 - Beige Willard (2nd of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: Bleed Out (Roman Bellic)
Difficulty: ** or *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: This is just a Willard with a beige paintjob.

Strategy 1: Again, the Albanians use this car. Dardan drives off in this,
but once killed you can claim the vehicle yourself. You'll have to drive
it and Roman's Taxi back and forth from wherever you claim it to your
safehouse if you want to pass the mission, however. It is UJ before the
chase, so you can't jack it then.

Strategy 2: If you don't care about mission failure, just fail the
mission at the beginning by killing Roman and drive it back easily.

---------------------------
6.4 - Light Blue Marbelle
---------------------------
Mission: Uncle Vlad (Roman Bellic)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades (and others have mentioned it)

Description: This is a light blue Marbelle. The blue is slightly different
than the similar color found in traffic, which is a tint darker.

Strategy: This is Vlad's car, driven during the chase. At the end, he crashes
into a truck. To keep this, get in and drive a short distance away from where
Vlad stands at the end, then finish the mission. With luck, it should be
sitting there. If this fails, try it again, and position it differently.

NOTE: For years, I thought this was not special, because there is a very
subtle difference between the one found in traffic, and Vlad's car. Due to
this small difference, I believe this one is special, however if anyone
encounters one that is an EXACT match, let me know.

---------------------------
6.5 - Black Schafter w/ silver grill (1st of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: The Master and the Molotov (Mikhail Faustin)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades w/ help from Coyote

Description: This is a normal black Schafter with black rims, except
that it has a silver grill as opposed to the normal black grill.

Strategy: This is Mikhail's car. Drive it from the club back to a parking
spot, then return and finish the mission.

---------------------------
6.6 - Bright Yellow Comet
---------------------------
Mission: No. 1 (Brucie Kibbutz)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: The yellow of this Comet is much richer and brighter than
a Comet's normal yellow color. It seems to have the slightest touch of
orange in it.

Strategy: This car is used in the street race. It is the same car as the
DP Comet, so obtaining it is the same: simply keep it after the mission.

---------------------------
6.7 - Yellow Patriot (1st of 3)
---------------------------
Mission: Blow Your Cover (Elizabeta Torres)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A Patriot that is colored yellow. It does not have an
American flag design on the side, and no other features (such as roof
lights).

Strategy: This vehicle is provided for you parked outside as soon as the
mission begins. Simply park it in a parking spot and proceed with the
mission as you please.

---------------------------
6.8 - Beige and Fuchsia Voodoo
---------------------------
Mission: Have a Heart (Elizabeta Torres)
Difficulty: **
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Jesse Giramma and confirmed by GTA_Loco

Description: This is a normal Voodoo with a beige-colored body, and a
fuchsia strip along the side. The fuchsia color is special for this car -
no other Voodoos have it.

Strategy: Knock the car around enough that the trunk is open, then drive
on uneven roads, over mounds, or off a jump. The bodies will fly out and
you will pass the mission (although without getting the reward money).

6.9 - Yellow Patriot (2nd of 3)
---------------------------
Mission: Deconstruction for Beginners (Playboy X)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A Patriot that is colored yellow. It does not have an
American flag design on the side, and no other features (such as roof
lights).

Strategy: This vehicle is provided for you parked outside as soon as the
mission begins. It is even parked in Playboy X's parking spot, so just
leave it and it'll stay there.

NOTE: It will ONLY appear if the west half of the parking spot is clear.

---------------------------
6.10 - Yellow Patriot (3rd of 3)
---------------------------
Mission: Photo Shoot (Playboy X)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A Patriot that is colored yellow. It does not have an
American flag design on the side, and no other features (such as roof
lights).

Strategy: This vehicle is provided for you parked outside as soon as the
mission begins. It is even parked in Playboy X's parking spot, so just
leave it and it'll stay there.

NOTE: It will ONLY appear if the west half of the parking spot is clear.

---------------------------
6.11 - Bright Red Hellfury
---------------------------
Mission: Ruff Rider
Difficulty: **
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Several people, but finally confirmed

Description: An on-again-off-again entry, this Hellfury is red. While
others are also red, the "normal" red is a metallic red, while this is a
plain, glossy red, with no metallic aspect to it. VERY similar to the
normal red, thus making it very difficult to spot, even in direct
comparison.

Strategy: Jayvon rides this bike during the chase. Simply ram him off
using a car/truck, or shoot him off while on the bike provided at the
start of the chase. Pick up the money, then get on the bike and drive to
meet Dwayne at the Cluckin' Bell, finishing the mission, then take it to
a parking spot.

---------------------------
6.12 - White Maverick w/ red stripes (1st of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: Dust Off (U.L. Paper)
Difficulty: *
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A white Maverick with red bottom stripes. A simple design,
but unique nonetheless.

Strategy: The only way you're keeping this from this mission is by
failing, as finishing means it will be flown away by U.L. Paper's goons.
Steal the helicopter and park it in a parking spot, then drive far enough
away to fail the mission. Though this is unnecessary, as you can get this
for free in the following mission.

6.13 - White Maverick w/ red stripes (2nd of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: Paper Trail (U.L. Paper)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A white Maverick with red bottom stripes. A simple design,
but unique nonetheless.

Strategy: Niko flies this during the mission. After finishing, just fly it
to a parking spot. No more effort necessary.

---------------------------
6.14 - Black "Mafia" PMP 600 w/ hybrid grill
---------------------------
Mission: Museum Piece (Ray Boccino)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Swift (black) and Anderson (white)

Description: This is a normal looking Mafia PMP 600 (gloss black coloring,
and a small spoiler on the rear), except that it has a hybrid grill. The
description of the hybrid grill can be found in the list of terms in an
earlier section.

Strategy 1: These cars are parked outside of the Museum in various places.
When you exit the building, shoot the guards near them and jack one,
using it to escape the area and pass the mission, then park it at a
safehouse. There are a total of four around the museum.
Formulated by: Swift

Strategy 2: Instead of waiting until the end, jack a car at the start and
park it, then complete the mission.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------------------------
6.15 - White "Mafia" PMP 600 w/ hybrid grill
---------------------------
Mission: Museum Piece (Ray Boccino)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Swift (black) and Anderson (white)

Description: This is the same as the Black "Mafia" PMP 600 with hybrid
grill, except that it is gloss white instead of black. This makes it an
all-around better prize.

Strategy 1: These cars are parked outside of the Museum in various places,
most of which are to the sides and behind the museum. They're harder to
get to when escaping the building, but you should still be able to run to
one and jack it. There are a total of four around the museum.
Formulated by: Swift

Strategy 2: Instead of waiting until the end, jack a car at the start and
park it, then complete the mission.

---------------------------
6.16 - Solid Black Maverick
---------------------------
Mission: Babysitting (Derrick McReary)
Difficulty: *****
Required: !!!CHEATS!!! (and Mission Failure)
Discovered by: Pepe

Description: This Maverick is solid black, instead of having the usual
white lines on the base. The word MAVERICK is still present.

Strategy: The mission orders you to shoot this helicopter down to protect
the boat. Instead of following orders, jump ship and swim south to a
platform with stairs up to the street on Charge Island. Input the
Annihilator spawn cheat (359-555-0100) and get in. Now for the hard part.
Using the Annihilator, flip Derrick's boat over (so it capsizes) to fail
the mission. You MUST flip it over; failing in any other way, such as
destroying Kim's boat or killing Derrick will spawn you back in Alderney.
Once the mission is over, the enemy Maverick begins flying southwest
towards Grand Easton Terminal in Algonquin. Once there, or anytime it is
over enough land (preferably streets) to be safe, use your heli to knock
it out of the air. Assuming it doesn't explode on impact, it will be
crippled (no blades and/or tail). Now the long hard desert. Find a decent
vehicle to push with (consider dialing 911 for an Ambulance or Firetruck)
and begin pushing it towards your Algonquin parking spot (Roman's
penthouse).

---------------------------
6.17 - Green and Blue Rancher
---------------------------
Mission: Babysitting (Derrick McReary)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: This Rancher is a pickup variety. The top section is green,
with the middle being blue, and the bottom panels black. Additionally,
Pat's research has turned up the fact this Rancher has both extra lights
and a grill guard. Other ranchers will either have one or the other, but
not both at once.

Strategy: This truck can be seen in the ending cutscene of the mission.
After you're deposited at the top of the stairs after it's over, go back
down, and you'll find this truck waiting for you on the docks.

NOTE: Also according to Pat's research, this vehicle vanishes at the end of
the mission in the PS3 version, making this vehicle unobtainable in it.

---------------------------
6.18 - Dark Green Willard
---------------------------
Mission: Babysitting (Derrick McReary)
Difficulty: *
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: haloftw1

Description: This is just a dark green Willard, in a shade that is not
normally available on a Willard.

Strategy: If the mission is failed with Derrick alive, the post-mission
cutscene will place Niko in this vehicle automatically. Drive it to a parking
spot at your leisure.

---------------------------
6.19 - Bright Red Biff
---------------------------
Mission: Tunnel of Death (Derrick McReary)
Difficulty: *
Required: Mission failure (Strategy 2 may not require failure)
Discovered by: GTA_Loco

Description: A solid red Biff, basically. It can come in all the various
forms of the Biff. Packie drives this in the mission at the start.

Strategy 1: When you blockade the police convoy, kill all the police, and
when instructed to drive the police van, get in the red Biff instead and
just drive away from the scene. This will fail the mission for leaving
Packie behind, and despite failing, your wanted level will be cleared. Do
not fail the mission in any other way! If you do this, your wanted level
will remain, making your job much harder. You will also keep your wanted
level if you don't kill all the police in the tunnel during the fight. Just
drive to a parking spot and leave the truck.
Formulated by: GTA_Loco

Strategy 2: Once in the Police Stockade, do a U-Turn near your own truck
and exit the tunnel in the other direction. If lucky, you can lose your
level by the end. Then turn around again and return to the site of the
shootout. The Biff may be there still. If it is, drive it alternating
with the Stockade until you reach your Alderney parking spot. Park the
Biff, and finish the mission.

---------------------------
6.20 - Black Schafter w/ silver grill (2nd of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: Undertaker (Francis McReary)
Difficulty: **
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: This is a normal black Schafter with black rims, except
that it has a silver grill as opposed to the normal black grill.

Strategy 1: The first group of Albanians show up in this car (it's present
at the start of the shootout). After dispatching all waves of Albanians
(including the unmarked car that attacks once you get in the Hearse),
alternate driving this car and the Hearse to a parking spot. Park this
car, then drive the Hearse to the cemetery.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

Strategy 2: Simply drive this Schafter to a parking spot right away.
You'll fail the mission for abandoning Packie (or killing him, if you
choose to do that instead), and then restart the mission to finish it,
leaving this at a parking spot.

---------------------------
6.21 - Pink Feltzer
---------------------------
Mission: ...I'll Take Her (Gerald McReary)
Difficulty: ***
Required:
Discovered by: guitarmasterpwn

Description: A bright pink Feltzer. It is always a convertible, not
covered.

Strategy 1: You drive this car during the mission. While you can always
fail the mission by shooting the girl and drive it to a parking spot, you
can also shoot the guy after the mission and claim the car yourself that
way.
Formulated by: guitarmasterpwn

Strategy 2: Alternatively simply fail the mission somehow, such as
shooting the girl. Much easier than the above strategy, but (obviously)
requires mission failure.

---------------------------
6.22 - Orange Infernus w/ black side stripe
---------------------------
Mission: AFTER Buoys Ahoy (Bernie Crane)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Swift (both colors), Jesse Giramma (mission)

Description: This Infernus comes with a bright orange color and a black
stripe along the side, both being unique for this vehicle.

Strategy: This car is given to you by Bernie after finishing his mission
strand. Just drive it to a parking spot.

NOTE: This is given to you AFTER the mission. Bernie will call you and
let you know where to pick it up. It will be there until you actually go
and collect it, so it may be safe to just store it where it appears
instead of picking it up and parking it somewhere.

---------------------------
6.23 - Solid Red Sanchez
---------------------------
Mission: If the Price is Right (Roman Bellic - Deal)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing (Mission failure if you want to follow Revenge)
Discovered by: Swift, confirmed by GTA_Loco

Description: This is a solid red Sanchez found at the end of the mission,
used for chasing the truck. This solid red color can't be found on other
Sanchezes, as it even covers the usually silver gas tank.

Strategy 1: Pick this to chase the truck in, and drive it to a parking
spot after the mission is over.

Strategy 2: If you want to get this vehicle, but don't want to commit to
the Deal story path, fail the mission after reaching the Sanchez. Either
let the truck get away, kill Phil, or something else.

---------------------------
6.24 - Black and Silver Cognoscenti w/ white ribbon
---------------------------
Mission: Mr. and Mrs. Bellic (Roman Bellic - Deal)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Pepe

Description: A Cognoscenti with a silver and black body, and two white
ribbons draped over the front.

Strategy: This is Roman's car, sitting outside the church. To obtain it
without failing, simply drive up to the wedding carefully so as to not
trigger the cutscene, then use your car to push this away from the church.
Once it is safely away (near the intersection south of the church),
drive it to a parking spot, then return and resume the wedding.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------------------------
6.25 - Black and Silver Cognoscenti (1st of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: Mr. and Mrs. Bellic (Roman Bellic - Revenge)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades and Swift

Description: A Cognoscenti with a silver and black body.

---------------------------
6.26 - Black and Silver Cognoscenti (2nd of 2)
---------------------------
Mission: A Revenger's Tragedy or Out of Commission (Roman Bellic)
Difficulty: **
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades and Swift

Description: A Cognoscenti with a silver and black body.

Strategy: This is the car you drive during the chase. To keep it, get
back in after the chase is over and drive it to a parking spot. You must
do this immediately as it will disappear if you wait too long, although
you can take out a few of the closer guys first if you would prefer. Just
make getting it to a parking spot your first priority.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

---------------------------
6.27 - White Maverick w/ gold stripes
---------------------------
Mission: A Revenger's Tragedy (Roman Bellic - Deal)
Difficulty: **
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: Pepe

Description: This Maverick is white with gold stripes adorning it. One
of the better looking helicopters.

Strategy 1: This is the helicopter Dimitri uses during the chase near the
end of the mission. After everyone crash lands on Happiness Island, run
over to it, kill the Russian nearby, and get in. After failing for losing
Dimitri, call someone on your cell phone to jump-start the engine, and
fly to a parking spot. This starts out critically damaged (but still barely
functional), so be extra careful to not clip ANYTHING when flying to a
parking spot (preferably Bohan). Just plot it down ASAP, and leave the area,
then return and adjust it's placement now that it is repaired.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades

Strategy 2: Get in, and enter the health cheat. This fully repairs it,
reducing the risk of losing it when taking it to a parking spot.
Formulated by: Pepe

---------------------------
6.28 - Pitch Black Huntley Sport
---------------------------
Mission: Taken Out (Assassination Contract)
Difficulty: **
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Anderson

Description: A pitch black Huntley Sport. This has anything and
everything black, and shows blacker in broad daylight, whereas the
"normal" black Huntley Sport appears somewhat brown normally (compared
to this one, at least).

Strategy: After you attack the Stretch limo that contains your target,
two of these Huntleys show up with extra goons. Finish off the target,
take out the goons, then drive one to a parking spot after the mission.

---------------------------
6.29 - White Cognoscenti
---------------------------
Mission: Gracie Ancelotti random encounter
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Spectre95

Description: A pure white Cognoscenti. A solid white is unavailable
elsewhere, including pay n' sprays.

Strategy: This car is parked in the parking lot of Gracie's house (where
she appears in the encounter). After taking out her guards, just drive it
back to a parking spot.

---------------------------
6.30 - Beater Emperor w/ green roof
---------------------------
Mission: Little Jacob's Job - Drug Delivery
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: GTA_Loco

Description: This is a typical beater Emperor car, except that it has a
light green roof, an oddity for this car.

Strategy: A random beater car is provided at the start of every level of
Jacob's drug delivery missions, holding the package you must deliver. This is
one of the possible cars that can be chosen. After completing the mission,
drive this car to a parking spot. Any mission except the final one can use
this car.

---------------------------
6.31 - Beater Sabre w/ green side stripe
---------------------------
Mission: Little Jacob's Job - Drug Delivery
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: A bunch of people, and for some reason I never added it until
now. No idea why.

Description: This is a beater Sabre, but with one difference: there is a green
stripe painted along the bottom of the car frame. This makes it quite unique,
much like the green roofed Emperor.

Strategy: A random beater car is provided at the start of every level of
Jacob's drug delivery missions, holding the package you must deliver. This is
one of the possible cars that can be chosen. After completing the mission,
drive this car to a parking spot. Any mission except the final one can use
this car.

---------------------------
6.32 - Hybrid Tuner Intruder
---------------------------
Mission: Little Jacob's delivery - Cerveza Heights Car Stack
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: This Intruder is a hybrid of the tuner Intruder and a normal
one. The only tuner upgrade it carries is an extended front bumper, lacking
the small spoiler. It also comes in a random color, although usually in
grayscale.

Strategy: This car is parked nearby once the shooting starts. After killing
all of the ambushers, thus passing the mission, simply take it to a parking
spot. Be careful though, as two of them use this car for cover, and it
could be damaged in the battle.

NOTE: You must SKIP the cutscene after reaching the package drop point. If
the cutscene plays and resolves itself, the Futo will instead be a normal
one, rather than the hybrid tuner variety.

---------------------------
6.33 - Hybrid Tuner Futo
---------------------------
Mission: Little Jacob's delivery - Meadow Hills
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: robrabbitman (special features), Lancet Jades (worked out
 exactly what is special)

Description: This Futo is a hybrid of the Albanian's gang car Futo and the
normal Futo. It has the black carbon fiber hood, body kit, hood scoop, and
red driver's seat of the tuner Futo, but lacks a spoiler. Also unlike the
tuner Futo, it seems to have a variety of available colors: usually silver,
but I've also seen light blue, red, orange, and dark gray. This is a truly
unique vehicle.

Strategy: This car is parked nearby once the shooting starts. After killing
all of the ambushers, thus passing the mission, simply take it to a parking
spot. Be careful though, as two of them use this car for cover, and it may be
damaged in the battle.

NOTE: You must SKIP the cutscene after reaching the package drop point. If
the cutscene plays and resolves itself, the Futo will instead be a normal
one, rather than the hybrid tuner variety.

---------------------------
6.34 - "Rasta" Huntley Sport w/ rear-mounted exhaust
---------------------------
Mission: Little Jacob's delivery (final delivery)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Esperanto (awesome job!)

Description: This is a usual "Rasta" gang Huntley: black top half, green
bottom half, and a gold stripe separating the two. It differs in one small,
but distinct way, namely that the exhaust manifolds are on the back of the
vehicle (two horizontal openings, difficult to see). Randomly-spawning Rasta
Huntleys have side-mounted exhaust pipes.

Strategy: This is provided for the final drug delivery mission. Drive it to a
parking spot after finishing the delivery to keep it.

========================================================
*7* UNOBTAINABLE SPECIAL VEHICLES
========================================================
These vehicles are unobtainable for whatever reason is listed. This can
include any vehicle type from the previous three sections, but as they cannot
be acquired permanently, there is no need to put them in those sections.

---------------------------
7.1 - Black Schafter w/ silver grill
---------------------------
Mission: The Cousins Bellic (Roman Bellic)
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: This is a normal black Schafter with black rims, except that it
has a silver grill as opposed to the normal black grill.

Unobtainable: It exists only in the opening cutscene of the game, being
inspected on the ship, and finally being loaded off as Niko disembarks. One
pan of the camera late in the cutscene shows that the grill is silver, the
same one as used by Russians throughout the story.

---------------------------
7.2 - Lustered Black Speedo w/ flat-screens
---------------------------
Mission: Crime and Punishment (Mikhail Faustin)
Discovered by: Swift

Description: This is a lustered black Speedo with flat-screen TVs in the
back. This is the van you must obtain for Faustin.

Unobtainable: If you fail the mission and park it in a parking spot, the
TVs disappear, and it reverts to a normal Speedo.

---------------------------
7.3 - Flatbed w/ bomb and indicator light
---------------------------
Mission: Rigged to Blow (Mikhail Faustin)
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: This Flatbed is a maroon color and very dirty (neither is
unique though). It also has a bomb in it, making it very easy to destroy,
and has an indicator light on the back that flashes green and red. Faster
flashes mean it is closer to detonating.

Unobtainable: It is destroyed at the end of the mission, and even if you
destroy it beforehand on a parking spot (unlike normally, it works for this
particular vehicle), save and reload, the truck will still be there, but the
bomb will be gone.

---------------------------
7.4 - Black Banshee w/ gold stripe
---------------------------
Mission: Search and Delete
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A black Banshee with a gold stripe.

Unobtainable: It exists only in the cutscene.

---------------------------
7.5 - BP/FP Roman's Taxi
---------------------------
Mission: Roman's Sorrow (Roman Bellic)
Discovered by: GTA_Loco and Jesse Giramma

Description: This is a normal Roman's Taxi, except that it is BP and FP,
but NOT EP or DP.

Unobtainable: It loses its properties if the mission is failed, or if
you proceed with the mission.

---------------------------
7.6 - White Maverick w/ black stripes
---------------------------
Mission: Paper Trail (U.L. Paper)
Discovered by: Lancet Jades

Description: A white Maverick with black bottom stripes. A simple design,
but unique nonetheless.

Unobtainable: This is the helicopter the target flies in. There is no
way to either get inside the helicopter, or to get it on the ground
without failing the mission and having it vanish, or destroying it.

---------------------------
7.7 - Dark Green Squalo
---------------------------
Mission: Babysitting (Derrick McReary)
Discovered by: haloftw1

Description: A dark green Squalo, which is a unique color for this boat.

Unobtainable: Boats cannot be stored in parking spots, and even if they could,
it would be almost impossible to ever use.

---------------------------
7.8 - Lowrider Patriot
---------------------------
Mission: Dead End (Assassination Contract)
Discovered by: Rick

Description: This Patriot lacks the suspension system that elevates the
body from the ground, causing it to hug the ground with the entire
vehicle.

Unobtainable: It loses the lowrider trait when the occupants exit.

---------------------------
7.9 - Blista Compact w/ body in back
---------------------------
Mission: Jeff random encounter #2
Discovered by: Ross

Description: This Blista Compact has a body in the back seat. Otherwise
normal.

Unobtainable: The body disappears if the mission is failed.

========================================================
*8* RARE VEHICLES
========================================================
These vehicles aren't anything inherently special, but are nonetheless
unique for various reasons, often requiring completion of a mission or
side mission to unlock. These can all be obtained at the end of the
game without any problem.

---------------------------
8.1 - Police Maverick
---------------------------
Unlocked: Not unlocked, just very difficult to get.
Found: Shows up as chopper support at 3-4 stars (5-6 has Annihilators
appear). Getting it can be difficult.

Strategy 1: First you need to have achieved a high percentage with Kiki
to unlock her ability to remove your wanted levels. Next, steal an
Annihilator attack chopper from somewhere in the city (see 7.5 -
Annihilator for info on where and how it can be obtained). Now create
mayhem until you have 3 stars. Don't reach 4 stars or Kiki can't remove
the level. Once the police helicopters appear, use your own and smash it
up. Ram it into buildings and other things to try and clip its blades.
Be careful when it crashes, as the SWAT members inside may survive the
fall to continue fighting. Once you've successfully grounded the police
chopper, call Kiki and remove your wanted level. Proceed to push the
downed helicopter into a parking spot, and then save. You'll now own the
heli!
Formulated by: GTA_Loco

Strategy 2: Climb onto the rooftop of the Libertonian Museum via the
scaffolding round the back of the building. Once on the top, shoot at the
police and get a wanted level. When the chopper comes, position yourself
near the edge of the roof so the chopper hovers low over rooftop. When it
is low enough, snipe the pilot and if done right it will crash, spin a
little but remain there. Kill the NOOSE and take the chopper! Much easier
than forcing it to crash, and does much less damage with a higher rate of
success.
Formulated by: Pepe

Strategy 3: Sniping the pilot of the helicopter causes it to fall to the
ground. This will often result in the chopper being available to jack
without much trouble, as it often won't knock the tail or blades off.
Formulated by: spnosrs

Description: A police version of the normal Maverick. White and blue
paintjob, and no radio.

---------------------------
8.2 - Red and Black Virgo
---------------------------
Unlocked: When Little Jacob's perk becomes available.
Found: Call Little Jacob and ask for him to deliver some guns. He'll
show up in this car. It's UJ, so shoot Jacob (it shouldn't hurt your Like
or Respect stats with him), push it to a parking spot using another car,
and save.

Description: A red Virgo with a black bottom. Normally, either the only
have a black stripe, or a brown bottom.

Missions the car may also be found in:
Concrete Jungle, Russian Revolution, Mr. and Mrs. Bellic

---------------------------
8.3 - Black and Gold Huntley Sport
---------------------------
Unlocked: When Brucie becomes available as a friend AND Algonquin is
unlocked.
Found: Call Brucie and go on the boating activity. You use this en route to
the boat.

Description: A Huntley Sport with a black top and gold bottom.

---------------------------
8.4 - Infernus
---------------------------
Unlocked (1): When Brucie's street races become available.
Found (1): Start a street race, and if the opponents draw from the
supercars, an Infernus may appear. Either jack it, or find one randomly on
the streets
nearby.

Unlocked (2): Stevie's car theft side mission.
Found (2): When he requests an Infernus. Drive it to a parking spot, park
it, then return to the Infernus spawn point and claim another. This is only
available while the Infernus text is in your phone!

Description: A top-level supercar that fans of GTA will know by name. This
is rare because it does not spawn on the streets randomly. It only appears
in Stevie's car theft mission, and from random races. No known spawn point
exists.

---------------------------
8.5 - Deep Red PMP 600
---------------------------
Unlocked: When you acquire Dwayne's "Backup" ability.
Found: Call Dwayne for backup. They show up in either this vehicle, or
a similar Patriot or Presidente. The one they choose is random.

Description: This is a deep red PMP 600. It is darker than the red PMP
600 found in traffic, but not as dark as the crimson PMP 600 from
Brucie's exotic exports.

---------------------------
8.6 - Deep Red Patriot
---------------------------
Unlocked: When you acquire Dwayne's "Backup" ability.
Found: Call Dwayne for backup. They show up in either this vehicle, or
a similar PMP 600 or Presidente. The one they choose is random.

Description: A deep red Patriot. This color is unlike any you'll find in
traffic. It has no American flag emblem on the side, and no special roof
adornments.

---------------------------
8.7 - Deep Red Presidente
---------------------------
Unlocked: When you acquire Dwayne's "Backup" ability.
Found: Call Dwayne for backup. They show up in either this vehicle, or
a similar PMP 600 or Patriot. The one they choose is random.

Description: A deep red-colored Presidente, unlike ones found in traffic.
It also has black rims instead of silver (although black isn't uncommon
for Presidentes).

---------------------------
8.8 - Annihilator
---------------------------
Unlocked (1): Shoot all 200 "flying rats."
Found (1): On the helipad at the very top of the MeTV building in Star
Junction (the really tall building with a helipad at the top - a pigeon was
on this building). This usually requires another helicopter to access, as
climbing from ground level on foot tends to cause it not to appear.

Unlocked (2): Achieve "Story Complete" (beat the game).
Found (2): Spawns on helipads at the north end of the airport (helipads are
ground level). Also spawns on some police station helipads throughout
Algonquin.

Unlocked (3): Use the Annihilator spawn cheat (call 359-555-0100).
Found (3): Right next to you after using the cheat. This, of course, counts as
a cheat and increments your "Times cheated" stat by 1.

Strategy 1: Courtesy of EKGene, a way to obtain an Annihilator at any time!
This requires a lot of luck, and can be irritating, though it is not terribly
difficult if luck is on your side, and impossible if it is not. If you have
not unlocked Alderney yet, see Strategy 3.2 for the pre-Alderney alternative.

First of all, head to a helipad with a Maverick (atop the Booth Tunnel is
recommended). Once there, start building up a wanted level. Five stars is the
goal, and try to do it in relative safety, away from the north side of
Alderney (north of the highway). Once you have five stars, fly the helicopter
to the parking garage in the north of Alderney (it is slightly northwest of
the police station. After reaching the garage, land on the roof and prepare
for the moment. First, take out any Police Mavericks bothering you by either
sniping the pilot, rocket launcher, or killing the gunmen on each side. Now
is the moment of truth.

Run around the garage's roof, trying to lure one of the two Annihilators that
will pursue close to the ground. This may require making a circuit around both
levels of the roof to get the Annihilators into the proper formation. Keep in
mind you are also on a timer, since cops on the ground will be ascending the
garage to get to you. Although they can be fought off, letting them gather
will deplete your armor and health quickly.

Once an Annihilator is close enough, and the pilot is in view, take out a
sniper rifle and snipe him. The heli will spin down to the ground. If it was
too high, it will explode in impact. If that happens, try again with future
Annihilators.

If it doesn't explode, it will continue to spin on the ground. Normally this
makes obtaining it impossible, as you cannot get close enough to the door
before it swipes you with the tail, but this time it is different. Eventually,
the tail will catch on the wall of the roof. If you're lucky (and it does
happen fairly often), this will bring it to a stop without breaking the tail
or rotors. Be prepared! The two SWAT guys in the back will get out and begin
shooting. Kill them, and get in. Congratulations on obtaining the Annihilator!

To keep it, fly to your safehouse and land on the nearby street. Rush inside
the building and save to remove your wanted level. Be careful when leaving the
Annihilator: it may fly up for a few seconds! If this happens, you will fall
and take a little damage, and it will come back down and probably lose the
blades or tail. No problem, because you should call a Firetruck and push it
into the parking spot after saving. Just remember to re-save afterwards, or
else it'll vanish. Once it is repaired, it should last long enough to take off
without snapping the blades again. If it's positioned such that it is
impossible, just call another Firetruck and reposition it until it works. As
long as a save file has it in the spot, you can get it flying eventually.
Formulated by: EKGene

Strategy 2: So long as you have not unlocked Alderney (which requires
completing Three Leaf Clover for Packie), this is the method you'll use, and
is probably rather easy. This video shall explain all:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHHumUqbfWg

To summarize, get a good small car (Sentinel, Feltzer, or something similar)
and drive to the parking garage described in Strategy 1. This can be tricky if
you have not unlocked Algonquin, since it requires driving across 2/3 of the
city with 6 stars, but the key point is to keep moving. It is recommended to
drive across the pedestrian platform of the central car/train bridge over to
Algonquin, then head for the bridge to Alderney. Drive between the bridge wall
and the left-most barricade, and plow through the police cars or Enforcers
blocking the road, then make haste to the parking garage.

Although this is meant to be done as early as the very beginning of the game,
it is not recommended unless you know the route and have played the game
before.
Formulated by: EKGene

Description: A large black attack helicopter, equipped with an automatic
gun which, unfortunately, lacks any automatic aim.

Missions the helicopter may also be found in:
The Revenger's Tragedy, Out of Commission

NOTE: While there are multiple methods for obtaining an Annihilator, there are
not any very suitable parking spots to store it.

========================================================
*9* BRUCIE AND STEVIE CARS
========================================================
These are the vehicles that you acquire for Brucie's and Stevie's
missions, where you are either emailed or texted a specific car to find.
Both sets of vehicles are listed alphabetically, as they are randomized
every playthrough. The randomization occurs when the side mission is
unlocked, so if for some reason, you don't like the order of vehicles you
were dealt, simply load a save from before the first export email or car
theft text is delivered, and meet the criteria again. The order will be
rerolled.

NOTE: All of Brucie's vehicles are confirmed unique! Some have very subtle
color differences, though (such as the Patriot), and on first glance, may
not seem unique at all.

Strategy (Brucie): Instead of delivering the car to the lockup, park it
in a parking spot. Get in a different car, and drive a distance away
from it. You'll fail because the car was "lost." Drive back and you'll
find it sitting there still.

Strategy (Stevie): Just drive the car to a parking spot, then return to
the spot and collect another. Easier cars couldn't exist.

BRUCIE'S 'EXOTIC EXPORTS' CARS (requested via email)
---------------------------
Banshee
~This Banshee is blue-colored with a white stripe. It can be either a
convertible or a hard top. The blue color of this car is much grayer
(close to periwinkle) than the normal blue colors found on Banshees in
 traffic.
---------------------------
Cavalcade
~This Cavalcade sports a solid, bright red coloring, along with black
rims like in Deconstruction for Beginners.
---------------------------
Feltzer
~A cream-colored Feltzer. Like most features on Brucie's exports, whether
it is a hard top or convertible is random. The cream color of this car
is slightly off from other varieties of this color for Feltzer. Another
 iffy one, but still unique.
---------------------------
Intruder
~This Intruder is a rich gray color, with a very dark gray stripe along
the bottom of the sides. There's no normally available gray color that
matches this gray. Like the Feltzer, this is rather iffy.
---------------------------
NRG 900
~This NRG 900 is a mixture of a solid red, with a large black segment
along the middle. This is unique in that the red coloring is much
brighter than the normal darker red used on red NRG 900s.
---------------------------
Patriot
~This is a gray Patriot, although the gray has a bluish tint to it not
found on random Patriots in traffic, or from the PnS. Features seem
random, including the flag emblem on the side. Very iffy as to its
uniqueness, but the bluish tint to the gray is what does it.
---------------------------
PCJ 600
~This PCJ 600 is a mixture of gray and black. Very similar to the normal
gray/black PCJ 600, except the normal one has gray lining around the
engine block, and a gray line on the tires, while this one doesn't.
---------------------------
PMP 600
~A normal PMP 600 with a deep crimson color. It has a normal grill, not
the Mafia or hybrid version. The color of this car is much darker than
either the red PMP 600 found in traffic, or Dwayne's deep red PMP 600.
---------------------------
Sabre GT
~A red Sabre GT with a big white stripe in the middle and no hood scoop.
It resembles the Sabre Turbo from Vice City. The red coloring is brighter
than other similarly-colored Sabre GTs. It can have either a flat hood,
or a pentagon-shaped section raised. It never has air intakes that I've
 seen.
---------------------------
Sanchez
~A red Sanchez with a red fuel tank, instead of silver like usual. It
also has a red light guard instead of a gray one. Lastly, the shocks
on the front wheel are red, not gray, like the usual one.
---------------------------

STEVIE'S TEXT MESSAGE VEHICLES (requested via text message)
---------------------------
Banshee (CONFIRMED)
~An orange Banshee with a yellow stripe. Whether it is a hard top or
 convertible is random.
---------------------------
Bobcat (NOT UNIQUE)
~A brown/bronze colored Bobcat with some boxes in the back of the truck.
 NOT a unique vehicle!
---------------------------
Buccaneer
~A black Buccaneer with a red luster to it. Red seems to be the only
color this one is found in.
---------------------------
Cavalcade (CONFIRMED)
~This Cavalcade is a dark forest green, with black rims like a lot of
 the other unique Cavalcades.
---------------------------
Cognoscenti (CONFIRMED)
~A Cognoscenti with a blue body and a gray top section.
---------------------------
Comet (CONFIRMED)
~This is a plum-colored Comet.
NOTE: I have heard that some people instead find a bronze Comet (also
unique). The conditions for this to happen are unknown, as is confirmation
 of its existence.
---------------------------
Contender
~This is a flat black Contender with a flat panel back. Whether a smooth
 or rough panel is random.
---------------------------
Coquette
~A silver-colored Coquette.
---------------------------
DF8-90 (CONFIRMED)
~This DF8-90 is a deep blue color.
---------------------------
Dilletante (CONFIRMED)
~A Dilletante with a gold paintjob, similar to the Turismo listed here.
---------------------------
Dukes (CONFIRMED)
~This Dukes is a bright, rich orange. Whether it has an air scoop on the
 hood or not is random.
---------------------------
Faggio (NOT UNIQUE)
~This Faggio has a dark green paintjob.
---------------------------
Freeway
~This Freeway is bronze-colored. Whether it has the saddlebags on the
 back is random.
---------------------------
Huntley Sport (CONFIRMED)
~A Huntley Sport with a black body, and a silver-gray colored top.
---------------------------
Infernus (CONFIRMED)
~A solid-gold colored Infernus. Unlike Bernie's Infernus, it has no black
 stripe.
---------------------------
Intruder (CONFIRMED)
~This Intruder is a deep blue color, much like the later-mentioned
Sultan. This is the normal version, not the mafia's Intruder (which has
 a spoiler).
---------------------------
Manana
~A black-bodied Manana with a white roof section.
---------------------------
Moonbeam
~This Moonbeam has a bright purple paintjob, making it stand out rather
 well.
---------------------------
NRG 900
~An NRG 900 with a black and silver body.
---------------------------
Patriot (CONFIRMED)
~This Patriot is yellow, much like Playboy X's Patriot. The difference
is it has an American flag decal on the side, whereas Playboy X's has
 none.
---------------------------
PMP 600
~A silver PMP 600 with a bit of a a light bluish tint to it.
---------------------------
Rancher
~A pick-up style Rancher, with a maroon top and bottom, and a big gray
 strip along the side.
---------------------------
Rebla (CONFIRMED)
~This Rebla is a golden brown color.
---------------------------
Sabre GT (CONFIRMED)
~A green Sabre GT with a black stripe. It seems to have an orange luster
to it, and can have a flat hood or air inlet, but not the pentagon-shaped
 adornment.
---------------------------
Sentinel (CONFIRMED)
~A gray-blue colored Sentinel with black rims.
---------------------------
Sultan (CONFIRMED)
~This Sultan is a deep, rich blue color, much like the tuner version,
except it is the normal one. The color is very similar, if not the same,
 as the previously listed Intruder.
---------------------------
SuperGT (CONFIRMED)
~A plain, flat black SuperGT with a slight blue luster to it, only visible in
 direct sunlight.
---------------------------
Turismo (CONFIRMED)
~This Turismo is gold-colored like the previously mentioned Dilletante.
---------------------------
Voodoo (CONMFIRMED)
~A solid green Voodoo.
---------------------------
Washington (NOT UNIQUE)
~A plain black Washington.

*11* FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
========================================================
Q: You missed [insert vehicle]!
A: Email me, and let me know. You will receive full credit for it.

Q: [Insert vehicle] doesn't possess a property you said it did!
A: Most likely, you did not follow the precise strategy. If you did,
and it does not retain its property, contact me and say so, although
I personally check each and every vehicle.

Q: [Insert vehicle] isn't special, but you still have it listed here!
A: Send me the info on where it can be found at any time (especially the
end of the game), and I'll adjust or remove it from this guide
 accordingly.

Q: One of the vehicles you listed is one I discovered first, and here's
 proof! Thief!
A: If you have proof you discovered a vehicle first, show it to me and
if I determine you really did discover it first, credit will be given.

Q: You missed the DP Yellow Comet in Brucie's "No. 1" mission!
A: The car is not damage-proof. It has a rear engine, so bashing around
the front of the car doesn't damage it as easily as front-engine vehicles.

Q: There's this car, the Sultan RS, that's special!
A: NO IT ISN'T. It is not special because it's available infinitely.
PLEASE stop IMing/emailing me about this. It constitutes about 75% of
the total emails/IMs I get about this game.

Q: I lost Bernie's Infernus! Where do I get another?
A: The Infernus has no set spawn location. The only way to get another is to
have obtained it during a mission, found one on the streets (while driving
one yourself, or most likely, by replaying various street races until one
appears. Street races are the only way to continue finding the Infernus after
all missions have been exhausted. As for Bernie's specific orange Infernus
with the black stripe, it's one-of-a-kind. Sorry.

*12* CONTACT INFORMATION
=======================================================
My screenname is LancetJades on GameFAQs. Feel free to IM me on AIM as
well. If I don't respond, I'm not ignoring you, I just tend to wander
away from my computer at times.

From now, on when submitting vehicles you feel are special (or aren't), please
make sure you've done a side-by-side comparison. Investigate more thoroughly
than just seeing a similarly colored vehicle on the streets a while later and
thinking "oh wait, it wasn't special." A lot of them have much more subtle
differences than an overtly special color.

If you wish to contact me, just email me:
lancet at ever more forums dot com
(remove the spaces, obviously, and replace the at with the proper sign)

Alternatively, IM me at:
AIM: Lancet Jades
YIM: lancetjades (not on often)
MSN: [email protected] (rarely on)

I never check my @hotmail.com address, so don't send mail to it.
I don't mind being contacted about this game, so don't hesitate if you
have a question or comment. But if you're gonna flame me, it won't
work (I'll just have a good laugh and ignore you). I also don't check my
yahoo email address, so don't bother sending any mail there either.

I'm a perfectionist, so if you have anything to contribute or correct,
please do so. You'll receive full credit (credit goes to the
screenname you talk to me from, so if you want another name, you have
to specify it). Even if you're pointing out a spelling or grammatical
mistake, please do so, no matter how small. Note however, I live in the
U.S., and as such, spelling it "color" instead of "colour" is NOT a
mistake.

If you wish to use this guide on your site, aside from asking my
permission, I require you in question to automatically fetch any
updates I make from GameFAQs.com yourselves. I only update to
GameFAQs.com and if I discover other sites carrying my guides have
out-of-date versions, I will ask that it be removed.

suggested adding the "Description" field to vehicle write-ups. The one who
discovered the PMP 600's hybrid grill!

tak10
~Notified me of the possibility of a blue luster on Coquettes and green
 lusters on the Schafter.

thekosmicfool
~Simultaneous Firetruck Trick credit with fiis.

Woody Barnes
~Informing me that Roman's Taxi is used when doing Taxi missions for him.

Yvl
~Info on the silver Blista Compact in Clean Getaway, even though it turned
out not to be special (although it was found by someone else much later to
 actually be).

And the many people who have emailed and IMed me about this game and its
vehicles. While you may not have had any actual vehicles to suggest, or
they turned out not to be special, I appreciate all of the emails/IMs.

*14* VERSION HISTORY
========================================================
Versions prior to 1.00 have been omitted.

1.00 Completed May 29th, 2008.
FINALLY FINISHED THE GAME. Removed a couple vehicles, looked into MOST
vehicles in the two possible final missions. Still no obtainable proofed
vehicles.

1.05 Completed May 31st, 2008.
Thanks to people like Swift and Dmitry for helping me with confirming a
lot of the special color vehicles. Poor Lost Zombie ain't so special no
more. Added descriptions to unique color/feature vehicles. Laundromat is
also confirmed not special.

2.00 Completed June 20th, 2008.
Thanks to GTA_Loco, been discovering a LOT more new vehicles (and
confirming older ones). Thanks man, you're a terrific help! Added a
section reserved for Brucie's and Stevie's cars, because they're all
(seemingly) unique, and all available under extremely similar conditions.
Added a link to the GameFAQs topic about how to CP your vehicles! Decided
to remove the unobtainable CP vehicles from the guide, as with the method
to make them yourself, they're useless entries (like UJs were).

2.10 Completed June 25th, 2008.
Some changes and additions. Jacob's red/black Virgo is only rare, and
found the first official unobtainable that isn't CP.

2.50 Completed July 5th, 2008.
Finished Brucie's vehicle entries, and refined and searched many more
vehicles. Most work done by GTA_Loco on discovery of new vehicles.
Theory for luster vehicles occurring. It seems that those vehicles that
will have lusters have some or all of: green, red, blue, purple. This
goes for both normally available ones (the black lustered Stallion) as
well as mission-unique ones. Some have only appeared as one color, but I
hope to discover its universal, thus making their documentation much
easier.

2.80 Completed July 14th, 2008.
More info on special vehicles, some tuner cars (the extended bumper
Intruder) debunked, and more insight on lusters. More random encounter
vehicles listed, and added its own subsection in the mission list. More
info on CPing vehicles as well.

2.90 Completed August 15th, 2008.
More info again. New strategy for the Police Stockade in Tunnel of Death.
Cherry Red Hellfury is back, but Plain Red now! Still Ruff Ryder. Changed
some things and dropped a few vehicles that weren't special.

3.00 Completed August 21st, 2008.
Finally completed Stevie's car selection!!! Thanks to Anderson, found a
load more lustered vehicles circa Ray Boccino's missions, as well as
Gerry's hostage missions. A lot of other additions and removals (such as
the chrome red Sanchez). Added the dark green Vincents from the hostage
string, as well as a green/blue Rancher in Babysitting.

3.10 Completed August 22nd, 2008.
Changes some stuff in the mission order.

3.20 Completed August 29th, 2008.
More changes and additions. Discovered a lot more lusters for various
vehicles. Various breakthroughs with luster properties. Laundromat is
back as a unique vehicle...for now. Certain breakthroughs that explain
the seemingly random Algonquin sightings have thrown it's actual rarity
into question again. A lot of Brucie's vehicles ARE unique, but just seem
normal, due to subtle differences.

3.30 Completed September 2nd, 2008.
More changes, finished analyzing Brucie's listing.

3.35 Completed September 26th, 2008.
Info on vehicles in No. 1.

3.40 Completed November 6th, 2008.
More changes and additions. More insight on lusters and their true natures
(hopefully). Green/purple almost definitely the ones available free roam.
U.L. Paper's red/white Maverick added, along with a few other vehicles,
along with some changes.

3.45 Completed November 21st, 2008.
More changes, completely rewrote luster section better explain the current
state of the theory. Finally ran it through a spellchecker. No idea why I
didn't earlier. Found out the luster Schafter in Pegorino's Pride doesn't
require mission failure to keep. Relented and included the black-rimmed
Cavalcade in Deconstruction for Beginners as lustered.

3.50 Completed December 8th, 2008.
Added the lustered Huntley Sport in Out of Commission. Added an extra mission
section to the mission list (as insignificant as it is). Maroon Flatbed NOT
unique.

3.55 Completed December 23rd, 2008.
Re-added Flatbed in Rigged to Blow as an unobtainable. Listed Brucie's
Banshee in unobtainables. Some other addition or change I forgot to add
here and now I forget entirely. Also, Dark Gray Sabre GT is lustered.

3.60 Completed January 12th, 2009.
More lusters for Sabre GT. New police maverick strategy. Refurbished
Unconfirmed vehicles section thanks to LordJanemba.

3.65 Completed February 2nd, 2009.
Added the black and silver Cognoscenti to the list.

3.66 Completed February 17th, 2009.
Revised 4.5 - Police Stockade's first strategy. Added double-drive to the
list of terms. Anderson pointed out lustered Patriots in Photo Shoot. The
Banshee in Hossan's mission is lustered. Finally confirmed the lustered
Cognoscenti in Gerald's first mission. Silver lustered Lokus in Meltdown.
First lustered motorcycle! The Hellfury in Museum Piece.

3.67 Completed February 18th, 2009.
Fixed a few errors from the previous version. Added credit for a few
vehicles. Discovered the "chrome red" Sanchezes in some missions are
actually lustered, all thanks to the Hellfury displaying that to me.
Discovered the silver lustered Sultan in Pegorino's Pride!

3.68 Completed February 19th, 2009.
Fixed some vehicle strategies that didn't work quite right. Found a
black and silver Rancher in If the Price is Right. Better explanation
of the strategy for the Sanchez in the same mission, and investigation
into Sanchezes in that mission, Truck Hustle, and Out of Commission.
Confirmed the white ribbon Cognoscenti in Deal version of Mr. and Mrs.
Bellic. Researched vehicles in Deal's endgame mission.

3.69 Completed February 20th, 2009.
More info on lustered Rebla. Info on Dimitri's white and gold Maverick in
the Deal final mission. Checked more into Ivan's Ruiner in the early
mission, and it is lustered. Revised some aspects of the luster section.
The guide is essentially finished for now, as I've checked and examined
everything possible that I know of. Still accepting tips and hints of
other special vehicles though!

3.70 Completed February 23rd, 2009.
Some minor corrections, and altered some vehicle's attributions.

3.71 Completed March 2nd, 2009.
Removed some sites' permission to host this guide.

3.72 Completed March 4th, 2009.
Spellchecked the guide one last time, and found a couple of mistakes that
had thus far eluded me. Let's hope this log for the update doesn't have
errors itself!

3.73 Completed March 6th, 2009.
A few additional corrections and changes.

3.74 Completed April 20th, 2009.
Added a white lustered Oracle in ...Pest Control and some other minor
notes.

3.75 Completed April 22nd, 2009.
Added the solid black Maverick in Babysitting and a note about the Willard
(read!!!).

3.76 Completed April 24th, 2009.
Fixed some info on the lustered Huntley Sport in the final mission.

3.77 Completed May 8th, 2009.
Added a luster for the Schafter to the list. Accidentally discovered the
black Speedos in Crime and Punishment are lustered.

3.78 Completed May 11th, 2009.
Added some more luster info, as well as another lustered car (the DF8-90
in Faustin's missions - 4 total).

3.79 Completed May 12th, 2009.
Some more luster info.

3.80 Completed May 26th, 2009.
More vehicles.

3.81 Completed June 8th, 2009.
Added the lustered Emperor.

3.82 Completed June 29th, 2009.
Added info about parking spot quirks.

4.00 Completed July 7th, 2009.
Made lusters their own section, which is a massive overhaul. Hopefully all
renumbered vehicles have their proper number at all places in the guide...

4.01 Completed August 1st, 2009.
Removed the Willard as a possibly unique car, as multiple people have
mentioned it does indeed appear in traffic.

4.02 Completed September 29th, 2009.
A few corrections and new strategy for the lustered Huntley Sport from
robrabbitman. Also discovered the blue SuperGT in No. 1 is lustered!

4.03 Completed October 6th, 2009.
Ran it through spellcheck again and revised a couple of things, such as
the "About" section right below this. Also discovered a lustered car in
Jacob's drug deliveries, thanks to robrabbitman. Revised the mission list,
adding Jacob's deliveries, and the green roof beater Emperor's description.

4.04 Completed November 1st, 2009.
Added the information on motorcycle issues in parking spots from the TLAD
guide.

4.05 Completed November 3rd, 2009.
Added some notes about the Annihilator, and how Police Maverick strategies
don't actually work for obtaining it.

4.06 Completed November 5th, 2009.
Removed the Willard from the suspect vehicle list once and for all. Also
fixed a few instances of unobtainable vehicles not being listed as so in
the mission list.

4.07 Completed November 8th, 2009.
Excessive updates, but that's how I roll, baby. Standardized a few elements
of the guide with my TLAD and TBoGT guides.

4.08 Completed November 24th, 2009.
Thanks to Floris Ferwerda, I know exactly how unique vehicles like the
Laundromat and Romero's Hearse work when it comes to spawning on the
streets, and their entries are updated accordingly.

4.09 Completed November 28th, 2009.
One final revision of the Annihilator's section, and a note about the
Police Stockades in Three Leaf Clover I didn't think of before. Corrected
a few other things throughout the guide as well. Alphabetized the list of
terms. Added info on the Firetruck Trick, as limited in scope as it likely
will be in GTAIV itself.

4.10 Completed December 1st, 2009.
Revisions of a couple of things.

4.11 Completed December 8th, 2009.
Edited listings of "Romero's Hearse" to the proper term of "Romero."

4.12 Completed December 17th, 2009.
Edited some of the information about lusters (The DF8-90 and about
white/silver lusters). Also edited the Futo entry (used to be 5.46, now
6.32). Apparently much different than we thought. Also found a similar
hybrid Intruder in another drug mission.

4.13 Completed December 18th, 2009.
Notes about the hybrid tuner cars. Thanks to Floris Ferwerda for pointing
out that the hybrid cars only appear if you skip the cutscene!

4.14 Completed December 21st, 2009.
Lustered Turismo in "Union Drive" discovered. The first (and only)
randomly colored AND lustered car known!

4.15 Completed December 22nd, 2009.
Lustered random color Sabre GT in If the Price is Right.

4.16 Completed December 29th, 2009.
Moved pre-4.00 versions to the Version History Log at the back of the
guide, to cut down on bulk in the preamble. Also added some notes about a
couple of Stevie's cars. Removed some vehicles that aren't actually special,
including those random lustered cars.

Also added a few lusters to the luster table thanks to him.

4.19 Completed May 12th, 2010.
Minor edits and revisions of a couple of things.

4.20 Completed June 11th, 2010.
Figured out that the Infernus is actually a rare vehicle, as it does not
spawn in traffic on its own, but rather only if you are already driving one.
It also appears in races, thus making it rare. Also added the Annihilator
cheat, that Elijah77 pointed out. Also rewrote section 3 (CPing vehicles)
to flow better.

4.21 Completed November 19th, 2010.
Courtesy of EKGene, a way to get the Annihilator at any time! This is a bit
difficult to pull off, but works wonders, and works at any point of the game
in GTAIV, TLAD, and TBoGT. Check the video out here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHHumUqbfWg

4.22 Completed December 30th, 2010.
Edited some of the Rare vehicle entries to standardize the format across all
of my vehicle guides. Rewrote parts of the About section.

4.23 Completed February 21st, 2011.
Added Vlad's light blue Marbelle back in after years. It is apparently
slightly different than the normal random blue of this car.

4.24 Completed May 6th, 2011.
Esperanto discovered the silver Blista Compact in Ivan The Not So Terrible is
actually lustered!

4.25 Completed May 9th, 2011.
More stuff from Esperanto, including a new luster color for the Emperor. Also
changed all referneces of the "rich" yellow Comet to "bright" yellow instead.
He also found a random-colored lustered Oracle in Harboring a Grudge.

Changed my contact information.

Oracle in Taking Out the Trash. haloftw1 discovered a dark green Squalo
and Willard in Babysitting, too.

4.30 Completed August 25th, 2011.
Added a new luster for the Dukes, as well as finally adding the green side
stripe Sabre in drug deliveries, too. Esperanto discovered that the Huntley
Sport in Jacob's final drug mission is special! He also discovered that the
Primos in Undertaker are lustered! Good to see someone finally checked them
out. Finally, removed the "Suspected unique vehicles" section, because it's
really not needed anymore (and never will be again).

4.31 Completed September 2nd, 2011.
Rewrote some sections (like About and Parking Spots). Also added a random
color lustered Primo from Taking in the Trash, discovered by Esperanto.

4.32 Completed September 9th, 2011.
Added a note about the lustered random Primo in Taking in the Trash.

4.33 Completed September 19th, 2011.

parking spots, courtesy of GTA Phreak.

4.34 Completed September 22nd, 2011.
Added a note about the SuperGT in Stevie's car deliveries. Also mentioned the
cop strategy for the first Police Stockades, and a note urging people who
test the strategy on vehicles to let me know if it works for certain vehicles
or not.
