Sequence 1: Peace At Last [WLK1]
===============================================================================

___________
Mass Exodus
_______________________________________________________________________________

After a couple of enlightening cutscenes, you take control of Ezio around the
end of Assassin's Creed 2. Press start, go to Database, and go to User Manual
for a handy in-game guide to refresh your memory. Walk forward and after
another cutscene, you'll have to climb up to Mario. Holding Y activates Eagle
Vision, which highlights the path you need to take. Follow Mario past another
cutscene and you'll be thrust into combat with some guards. X is your basic
attack button, so if you're unsure of what to do, just keep mashing it. The
game offers up some hints too. You will have to fight more guards and climb
around buildings as you follow Mario to the top of a tower. Another cutscene
and this particular memory is complete.

__________
Homecoming
_______________________________________________________________________________

A very short memory. All you have to do is follow Mario on horseback to his
Villa. After this, you'll be free to explore Monteriggioni, although there's
not much you can do except start another memory.

_____
R & R
_______________________________________________________________________________

This is the only memory of the first three you can choose from that is actually
inside the walls of the Monteriggioni. You'll find a woman struggling to carry
a box of flowers behind the shops. Talk to her with Y, and then press B to
pick up the box. Follow her to the checkpoint to finish this short memory.

_______________
Target Practice
_______________________________________________________________________________

This memory is located on top of the wall just West of the entrance to
Monteriggioni. You can use new devices called lifts to get to the top quicker
now. Once up there, talk to the guy by the cannon. You'll offer to find the
engineer who mounted the cannon. Just run along the wall to the west and you'll
find him taking a nap under one of the guard towers. Escort him back to the
cannon and you'll be able to use it. You need to destroy 5 of the targets,
which is remarkably easy, since a large circle on the ground tells you exactly
where the cannonballs will hit. Once you've finished shooting targets, the
memory ends.

______________
Horsing Around
_______________________________________________________________________________

You'll find a man standing just outside the entrance to Monteriggioni. Talk to
him and you'll be tasked with tracking down Mario's favorite horse. This is a
lot easier than it sounds. The horse is running around right in front of you,
all you have to do is catch it. If it hits a tree or something, it'll usually
stop running completely, so just mount it and bring it back to the stables to
end the memory.

_______
Reunion
_______________________________________________________________________________

After finishing the memories R & R, Target Practice, and Horsing Around, you'll
automatically start this one. Enter the Villa Auditore and watch a cutscene.
Next, go up the stairs and watch another cutscene. The memory ends here.

________
Vilified
_______________________________________________________________________________

As soon as you finish the Reunion cutscene, you will be tasked with defending
Monteriggioni until all of the villagers can escape. After the on-the-rails
sequence where you run through the town, you'll jump off of the horse and have
to climb onto the wall. Also note that it's at this point where you lose all
of your cool gear. Man the cannon and shoot the enemy cannons. Try to aim
between two cannons so you can take them both out with one shot. Your cannon
will soon be destroyed, so hop on the next one and repeat until all of the
villagers are gone. There's a counter on the left side of your screen, along
with a "health meter" of sorts for the city walls. Once all of the villagers
are out, you'll have to go along the wall to the East and ride a lift. Once
you're on top of the tower, switch to your hidden blade with up on the D-Pad,
and use the Left Trigger to target the enemy down below. Once he's targeted,
you can press X to perform an air assassination. Hit right on the D-Pad once
you're down there to switch back to your sword and take out the rest of the
enemies. You will be forced to take down a couple of Brutes, as well. Use A
to kick them and drop their defenses, then attack. After the cutscene, this
memory is over.

______________
Emergency Exit
_______________________________________________________________________________

You are thrust right into battle with several guards here. Just keep moving
towards the Villa, fighting enemies as you go. There are no side paths to
take, so you won't get lost. Move up the steps, save Claudia, and kill all of
the guards here. Escort Claudia into the Villa, killing any other enemies you
come across, or just ignoring them. Go down the stairs to end this memory and
the 1st Sequence.

===============================================================================
Sequence 2: A Wilderness of Tigers [WLK2]
===============================================================================

Before you begin Sequence 2, you'll take control of Desmond in the present.
The first part of this is a somewhat lengthy but fairly straightforward area
where you and Lucy climb around under the Villa. Once inside, you'll be tasked
with finding four circuit boxes to turn on the power. The first one is on the
wall right next to you as soon as you get the assignment. Use Eagle Vision to
spot them. If you go around either side of the Villa, you'll eventually go
down some steps. Both sides have buildings at the bottom, and both buildings
have a circuit breaker on them. There's another circuit breaker at the bottom
of the central steps, on the building to the right. Note that there are more
than four boxes, so you shouldn't have too much trouble with this. After
this, you'll be introduced to the new Virtual Training part, and then you'll
be inserted into the next memory.

______________
As Good As New
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Do not drop below 1 health square.

While you're injured you can't jump around, so you'll have to walk like
everybody else down the steps and over to the doctor. Get the medicine, and
don't forget to use it. Climb the church tower and synchronize your first
viewpoint to unfog part of the map. Jump into the hay and you'll have to tail
the guards. Just walk behind them, but don't get too close or too far away.
You can move into a group of people to blend in and avoid detection, although
in this mission, there are really no chances of being detected unless you get
too close to the guards. Once they reach their destination, you can kill them
all. The memory ends after they're all dead.

_____________
Well Executed
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Kill your target with the hidden blade.

You'll find this memory right where As Good As New ended. You're tasked with
killing Il Carnefice, the executioner. Climb up the buildings and head East.
His house is a restricted area. Your best bet is to climb on top of the
house and go to the edge of the roof. Then target Carnefice using the Left
Trigger and press X to perform an Air Assassination. After he's dead, the
memory ends, but unfortunately you'll still have to deal with all of the other
guards around. When surrounded like this, a good strategy is to simply block
until someone attacks you, and then press X to counter-attack, instantly
killing them. Also, watch out for grabs, and don't forget to loot the bodies
when you're done.

_______________
New Man in Town
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Throw the Borgia Captain into the scaffold to kill him.

After completing Well Executed, you'll have to meet up with Machiavelli. Follow
him to a Blacksmith and purchase some armor and a new weapon. Follow him again
to a Borgia Tower. You will have to kill the Borgia Captain here. You can climb
up the front of the building on the right side without being spotted, if you
are fast enough. Kill the archer on top of the building and then drop down.
You can air assassinate one of the two guards standing in front of the doorway,
and you probably should, because you'll have to deal with a few of them once
you start the fight. Going for full synchronization here can be kind of
annoying, since you have to deal with any guards roaming around first. If the
Borgia Captain is messing with you while you are fighting other guards, just
kick him so he'll go away for a few seconds. Once it's just you and him, kick
him with A, then press B to grab him. Press B again to throw him into the
scaffold that is right by the doorway.

Once the Captain is dead, go back to Machiavelli, who tells you that you must
ignite the Borgia Tower. Go back into the restricted area the same way as
before, except this time climb the tower and push B to set it on fire. After
this, follow Machiavelli into the stable to end the memory.

__________________
Easy Come, Easy Go
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Don't lose any health.

To start this, walk up to the Horse Stable and renovate it. It doesn't cost
anything since you have to do it. Follow Machiavelli on horse for a bit. Soon,
a thief steals some florins from you. Chase him down and press B while holding
the Right Trigger to tackle him and get the money back. The memory ends here.
As long as you don't mess with any guards, there's really no reason you should
lose any health.

_______________
Who's Got Mail?
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Catch the Borgia courier in under 1 minute.

Meet up with Machiavelli again and follow him on horseback for a bit. You'll
eventually come across your ally and have to save him from three guards. He
tells you that the Borgia courier has the letter you are looking for, so
chase the courier down. It should honestly not take you more than 10 seconds
to tackle him. Once you catch him, the memory ends.

_____________
Crepi Il Lupo
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Don't lose any health.

Hit the checkpoint and after the cutscene, you'll be ambushed by several
Followers of Romulus. Not losing any health here is easier than it looks. Just
keep holding the Right Trigger to block and when someone attacks you, press X
to counter-attack. These guys don't seem to know how to grab, so you don't
have to worry about that. Once they're all dead, the memory is over.

_________________
The Halls of Nero
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Complete the memory within 8 minutes.

From the beginning, climb onto the pillars as high as you can go, then start
jumping left. Once you're on the pillar with three notches, climb over to and
get on the platform, then go right. Jump over and hit the first switch. Now go
all the way to the other end and hit the next switch. Jump across the beams
attached to the wall to get to the other side of the room, and hit this switch.
Now, jump onto the broken pillar and face the wall. Use the broken pieces in
the wall as handholds and make your way over to the final switch. Once you've
hit them all, the floor underneath the water will collapse. Jump into the
hole. Go into the entrance with the stone urn/pedestal thing and head right.
At the end, in a gated off room, is another stone pedestal. Climb onto it and
turn left, facing the wall. Jump onto one of the white bricks and work your
way across the hand holds. Once you get back on the ground, make your way to
the next stone pedestal, hop onto it, and then go over to the long beam. Make
your way over the next gate and hit the switch to open the door.

In this room you have to make it past a large area that's on fire. Climb the
rubble to your right and go up the pillar, then back eject onto the statue.
Jump over to the next pillar, climb it, and shimmy to your right onto some
hand holds. Keep going right, then jump onto the headless statue, and over to
the right side of the room. Drop down onto the other side of the fire and
climb up the obvious rubble to the half statue and onto the pillar. From here
it's pretty straightforward. Remember to back eject if you've got nowhere to
go. After the cutscene, go to the other side of the room and crawl over the
gate. Keep going and hop onto the final pedestal you come across, then get
use the hand holds to keep going. Back eject onto the large central pillar,
climb around, and back eject again onto the beam. Swing over the gate and
enter the throne room.

Once in here, climb on the throne and onto the ledge, then head left. The
platforming sequence here is pretty straightforward, just keep jumping around.
You'll eventually find yourself on the same wall as the throne again, except
this time on the right side. Go left onto the balcony, the same one from the
previous cutscene. Inside this room you'll find a bunch of chests, including
one that holds a Key of Romulus. All of these Shrines have a Key in them, and
collecting all of the Keys unlocks a nice suit of armor for Ezio. Once you've
looted everything, exit the Shrine to end the memory. Getting full synch on
your first try probably won't happen, especially if you are going after flags
and treasure chests. I recommend using your first time through to get the
collectibles and become familiar with what you are supposed to be doing. Once
you've finished the memory, you can go into DNA at the pause menu and do it
again, this time with no distractions.

Roman Underground
_______________________________________________________________________________

Immediately after you finish The Halls of Nero, talk to Machiavelli and use
the Tunnels to fast travel to the Tiber Safehouse. After the cutscene, you'll
finish this memory and the 2nd Sequence.

Sequence 3: The Fighter, the Lover, and the Thief [WLK3]
===============================================================================

High-Stakes Negotiation
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Do not swim.

You'll find this memory in the Western Centro district. It is available as
soon as you start the 3rd Sequence. The first part of this memory has you
pickpocketing strangers to collect the 2500 florin ransom needed to save the
mistress. Just fast walk into groups of people to automatically collect
money off of them. Just don't linger around one place for too long, and don't
do this near guards. Once you've got enough florins, go meet the slave traders
all the way over in the Southern Centro district. They are near a Borgia Tower,
but the checkpoint is barely inside the influenced area, so you shouldn't have
trouble with the guards if you just run for it. After the cutscene you'll have
to fight the slavers, which isn't too difficult. Once they're dead, head back
up to the Rosa in Fiore, watch the cutscene, then use the 2500 florins to
renovate the place. This ends the memory, and you should get full synch as
there is absolutely no reason to swim anywhere in this mission. Also, you can
now talk to Maria to get Courtesan assignments.

____________
Double Agent
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Do not be detected while reducing Notoriety. Remain
undetected until rejoining La Volpe at the Thieves Guild.

This memory is available as soon as you start the 3rd Sequence. You'll find it
in the Southwestern Antico district. After the cutscene, rejoin La Volpe at the
checkpoint. You will have to save the boy from several guards after this
cutscene, so get ready. They are all archers, too, so take out your throwing
knives to make things a bit easier. Once everyone's dead, escort the boy
back to the checkpoint. Remaining undetected here is relatively easy, as long
as you're patient. There are groups of people just standing around all over
the place. If you don't see a way past some guards, just wait for a crowd of
people to move in the direction you want to go and blend in with them. After
you reach the checkpoint, you'll have to reduce your notoriety by either
ripping down posters, bribing heralds, or killing officials. You'll need to do
four actions to get your notoriety down to zero. Luckily, from here on, you
won't have to worry about avoiding guards. Once you're no longer notorious,
make your way back to La Volpe, then renovate the tavern. This will end the
memory and unlock Thief Assignments.

_______________________________
Between a Rock and a Hard Place
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Kill only the Borgia Captain.

This memory is available as soon as you start the 3rd Sequence. You'll find it
in the Eastern Campagna district. This memory is fairly simple. At the start,
equip your hidden blade and run after the Borgia Captain. Assassinate him,
then drop into the water surrounding the Borgia Tower and climb up the back.
The only guards around are the ones guarding the bridge, so you shouldn't have
any problem getting full synch. Ignite the tower, make your way back to
Bartolomeo, and renovate the Barracks. This will end the memory and unlock
Assassination Contracts.

_______________________
Collective Intelligence
_______________________________________________________________________________

After completing the last three memories, you will gain access to this one.
Enter your hideout to start it. After the cutscene, talk to the bookkeeper.
This ends the memory and the sequence.

===============================================================================
Sequence 4: Den of Thieves [WLK4]
===============================================================================

________________
Castello Crasher
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Do not be detected.

Your first memory in Sequence 4 is in the Northwestern part of the Centro
district. After the cutscene, make your way towards the first checkpoint. It's
probably easiest to use the poles sticking out of the water on the side of the
bridge. After this you'll need to take out three guards. The first one is
easy, just hide in the hay until he walks by, then pop out and assassinate him.
You can run to the wall behind the tree and hug the little part that sticks
out. The guard patrolling in this area won't see you here, so kill him. Don't
worry about the guard by the door seeing you, their line of sight doesn't
extend very far. You can just make a run for it for the last guard, or simply
use throwing knives. Climb up to the next checkpoint. After the cutscene,
climb onto the wall that the ladder is leaning against and then climb onto
the large wall to the North. There are four guards in this general area. You
can kill the first one immediately. The next two are to the right of him, and
there's one farther down the wall to the left. Drop down to the next checkpoint
and air assassinate the lone enemy patrolling beneath you. Swing across the
beams going North to get to the other checkpoint. Be careful, there is a
guard on the rooftop next to your destination, so assassinate him after you're
there.

The next few checkpoints require you to climb around the large central tower.
After the first cutscene with Caterina, you'll climb onto a roof area. There
are two easily dispatched guards up here, and another lone guard patrolling the
courtyard that you have to drop into. Air assassinate him and hit the next
checkpoint. Go down the first flight of stairs. At the next set of stairs,
wait for the guard to go left, then run down there and assassinate him. Keep
going until you reach the room with Caterina's cell. You will have to take
out two guards who are in very close proximity to each other. Just wait long
enough and they will split up. Kill them to end the memory.

____________
Femme Fatale
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Do not lose more than 10 health squares.

Go back the way you came. The guards from the previous memory are back, so
take out the one in the courtyard and the two on the rooftops, then climb up
and around to the other side of the tower. Drop down to Lucrezia, and after a
cutscene, you'll have to fight some guards. The next part is rather annoying.
You have to take Lucrezia hostage, and she will break free from you as more
guards come to attack. You will have to kill the guards, then catch her and
restrain her again. This happens a few times as you make your way back to
Caterina's cell. If you are having trouble dealing with the agile guards, just
grab them. They generally can't avoid that, then you can do whatever you want
with them. Once Caterina is free, the memory ends.

____________________
The Burdens We Carry
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Do not be detected.

At the very beginning, run into the little cubby hole type area and put
Caterina down there. A guard will come into the area to examine the cell now
holding Lucrezia. When he's looking at the cell, kill him, then kill the
guard roaming around in the next room. Pick up Caterina and continue until you
reach the long flight of stairs with a guard standing at the bottom. There are
also two more guards down there that patrol the side passages. Your best bet
is to wait until they are both in the side passages, then take out the
stationary guard and one of the patrolling guards. As the final enemy patrols
around, he'll notice the body at the bottom of the stairs. Wait just behind
the doorway of one of the side passages until he goes to inspect it, then
kill him. Pick Caterina back up and go down the right passage and into the
hole.

Wait in the hay for the guard to come around and assassinate him. The next two
hallways hold one enemy each, and both can be killed easily. After they're
down, you'll have to open two gates. The one on the left has someone patrolling
the rooftop above it, and the one on the right has someone patrolling the same
platform that it's on. After you've opened them both, carry Caterina into
the stables to end the memory.

_________________
Guardian of Forli
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Achieve a kill streak of at least 5 guards.

All you have to do here is ride with Caterina across the bridge, then fight
the guards for a minute and a half. After this, find a hiding spot and become
anonymous again. To get the full synch here, you simply have to hit someone
until you assassinate them, then as you are doing that, move the camera so
that another soldier is highlighted. Once you have killed the first enemy, hit
X to automatically kill the next one. Keep doing this until you've killed 5
guards.

_________________
Man of the People
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Do not lose more than 5 health squares.

Go back to your hideout to start this memory. This is a fairly simple mission.
All you have to do is find the two citizens and kill the guards that are
harassing them. You will then make them both assassins. You will also unlock
the ability to recruit more assassins.

_______________
Serial Offender
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Kill your target using the Assassin Recruits.

You'll find a woman crying over a dead body in the Southern Centro district.
She sends you after a man named Malfatto. Another simple mission. Go to each
Courtesan and she will show you which way to go next. When you finally catch
up to Malfatto, you can kill him, or you can wait until he's highlighted and
press the Left Bumper, ordering your assassins to kill him. This ends the
memory.

___________
Human Cargo
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Kill your target using the Assassin Recruits.

At the very Southern edge of the Centro district you'll find a boy crying on
the docks. On your way there you will probably be attacked by slave traders.
Talk to the boy and move to the green area. Activate Eagle Vision to find
Silvestro, then tail him. He'll occasionally turn around, so be ready to enter
a group of people to remain undetected. Eventually he'll enter some ruins and
you can kill him. Have the Assassin Recruits take down Silvestro, then help
them mop up the rest of the guards. After this, check out the Pigeon Coop. You
don't have to do anything here, as long as you interact with it and exit, you
will complete the memory.

_____________________
An Unexpected Visitor
_______________________________________________________________________________

You'll find this memory near your hideout in the Centro district. Go down the
stairs after you hear the voice and talk to Da Vinci. He'll give you the
option to buy a cool gadget. That's about all there is to this memory.

_________
War Plans
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Send the Mercenaries into a fight.

Located in the far Southeast corner of the Antico district, in the same
vicinity as a Leonardo bench. Go towards the green area, and on your way, hire
the Mercenaries standing by the road. When you get close to the Overseer,
target him and use Y to order the Mercs to attack. You can just let the
Mercenaries do all the work if you want, either way, when all enemies are dead,
the memory ends.

_________
Outgunned
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Do not kill anybody before destroying the blueprints.

Found just North of where the last memory ended, at the gate leading out of
Rome. Not killing anybody is relatively simple, just go right and skirt the
very edge of the area until the green marker is directly ahead of you, then
make your way towards it. Just remember that the not killing anybody part is
optional, but the remaining undetected part isn't. If someone sees you, you
will fail the mission. When you're at the blueprints, wait for the Brute to
circle away from you, then burn them. From here you can kill the Brute and
go over to the machine gun. Ignite the barrels next to it and run away.
Unfortunately, after it blows, another carriage with a machine gun on it rides
away. You'll be put on a horse, so chase after it. After a couple of sequences
where you have to avoid falling logs, a cutscene plays where you gain
control of the carriage. Drive it for a bit, running any horsemen over, and
then you'll take control of the machine gun. You'll have to mow down horsemen
that come at you from all sides. Try hitting the first enemy in any group. If
he falls, the ones behind him will trip over his horse. Keep mowing them down
and you'll soon finish the memory.

________

Go back to your hideout after finishing Outgunned to start this memory. Watch
the cutscene, read the map, and leave the hideout to finish the 4th Sequence.

Escape From Debt
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Do not be detected while escorting the senator.

Enter the Rosa in Fiore and talk to Claudia to start this memory. You'll find
the senator at the back of the green area. Defeat the three guards attacking
him. This next part is a real pain in the ass if you're going for full synch.
I've yet to find any kind of decent path through the city. Guards are just all
over the place. You will have to lead the senator down the back steps, but
from then on, it's all up to you. Make use of Courtesans and other allies to
distract guards if you can't find a way through an area. Also, it helps to
turn off the millions of icons on your map so you can actually see the red
dots. Finally, if the senator does get noticed, you may still be able to pull
off a full synch by calling in some assassins and letting them take down the
attackers. The senator has enough health to take a couple of beatings if it
comes to it. Just don't use any special abilities like the assassin's arrows.
These things tend to leave a couple of people alive, and you won't be able to
call out more assassins after you've used it. Anyway, you have to lead him to
three checkpoints in the area. The mission ends on the third one.

________________
Follow the Money
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Do not be detected and do not touch the ground while
                      tailing the senator.

You have to have at least 3000 florins to give to the senator to start this
memory. Talk to him when you're ready. Climb the rooftops and make your way
to the checkpoint. After the cutscene, you'll have to follow the money.
Stay on the rooftops and take down the lone guards whenever you encounter
them. Getting full synch here is fairly simple, especially compared to the
last mission, though you may have to do it a couple of times to become
familiar with the guard placement. Once the senator reaches the Pantheon,
you'll be tasked with infiltrating it via the roof. You can touch the ground
now if you want. The easiest way up the Pantheon is on the back side. Get up
to the top and you will have to kill the lone guard below without being
detected. You must climb into the hole and down the small golden hand holds
that dot the inside of the dome. Continue down until you can air assassinate
the enemy, which completes the memory.

When in Rome
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Arrive at your destination in less than 3 minutes.

At the beginning, go left. The synchronization meter is like a hot/cold thing
that tells you how close you are to the next checkpoint. Take the first left
after the invisible checkpoint. You'll be forced to turn right, then take
another left after that. You'll be forced to turn left. At the fork, take the
right path, and stay right. Do not go up the stairs. After going around the
bend, take the first left, go past the horses, and turn right. You'll hit
another checkpoint. After that, go left, down the stairs, and go through the
courtyard, staying on the right side. You'll start to enter another road, but
take the first right up the stairs here instead. At the top, go left, then turn
right when you get to the hay. Once outside, turn right, then take the first
left down some more stairs. Go through this area and across the bridge to
finish the memory. Remember that holding the Right Trigger lets you jog, but
if you hit someone you'll drop the money chest.

__________
In and Out
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Kill the Banker from a bench without being detected.

The first part of this mission requires you to tail the money without being
spotted. This involves moving from group to group to stay hidden. Use the
Courtesans to distract the guards at the bottom of the stairs. On the stairs,
the money changes hands. Around this time a moving crowd should pass by, so
blend in with them and follow the money this way. Eventually the money will
turn right and the crowd will go left, following the other guards. When they
go left a bit, break from them and hide behind the low wall, the one with some
hay on the other side. A single guard is looking right at the area you need
to go through, but if you run to the crowds of people, you will barely be able
to avoid detection. Jump from crowd to crowd until the next cutscene. After
this, use the Courtesans as mobile cover. As you get close to guards, they
will automatically lure them away. Do this once more, and then move into a
group of people. They will lead you into a courtyard type area. Bounce from
group to group and head into the alley on the left.

After this cutscene, you'll have to kill the banker. Use the poison blade to
draw away guards if you want, though this isn't necessary. You should
try to take out some of the guards just to ease the pressure. The one by the
hay and the one guarding the stairs are two that you can take down easily. You
can also lure guards by standing in their sight until the arrow fills up with
yellow. At that point, it'll start to fill up with red. Don't let it fill up
all the way. Instead run to the hay or over to a bench. The guard will
investigate, and you can kill him without making a fuss. Also, there are some
Courtesans here that are very handy for distracting guards. You can assassinate
the spear-toting soldier from one bench and the Banker from another. After
you finish, get out of the area to complete the memory.

Go back to the Rosa in Fiore to start this short memory which only involves a
cutscene. Once it ends, the 5th Sequence is complete.

__________
Gatekeeper
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Do not take any damage.

Go to the Barracks in the Campagna district to start this memory. You'll be
immediately placed in the middle of a whole hell of a lot of enemies, and you
have to close the three gates in the area. Getting full synchronization here
is a nightmare. I suggest using a weapon that allows you to perform easy
counter-kills, and calling in assassins to help you as often as you can,
particularly when you're about to lower a gate. The enemies will not stop
coming until all three gates are closed. Once you've done that, mop up the
rest of the soldiers and watch the cutscene. Follow Bartolomeo on horseback
to another cutscene. The memory ends after this.

___________
French Kiss
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Do not be detected.

Go back to the Barracks to start this one up. You have to kill 20 French
soldiers. You'll have to visit at least two encampments to get your quota.
Getting full synch here is somewhat difficult, given the layout of the camps
where the French are stationed. It helps significantly if you have the double
hidden blade, since there are few soldiers wandering around alone. Don't be
afraid to use throwing knives or poison, either. Once you've got 20 heads, this
memory ends.

____________
Trojan Horse
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Do not lose any health squares.

You'll find this memory in the Northern Campagna district. Follow the
mercenaries for a bit. You'll have to take out a few guards that notice the
disguise. After this, you move forward some more and are tasked with taking
out three soldiers before they become aware of the mercenaries. Fairly simple,
just rush ahead and assassinate each one. Note that once the mercenaries reach
the roadblock, you'll only have 30 seconds to take out the guards. Also, if one
of the roadblock guards sees you killing another guard, you will instantly
fail the mission. Do this two more times and you'll find yourself inside the
gates of Castra Praetoria. Once in here, you'll have to fight off some
soldiers, specifically three elite guards. You can't really counter them, so
dodge and kick them, then attack. Once they're dead, the memory is complete.

_________
Au Revoir
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Finish the mission in less than 5 minutes.

Clamber across the rooftops, taking down the guards you see, until you get to
the gate. Here you'll have to deal with four lancer-type guards. Kill them
and open the gate. Once inside, go right and take out the guard. Move forward,
wait for the guard by the entrance to leave, and scale the far right side
wall. There is another guard up here, so assassinate him when he gets close.
Take out the guard on the very top of the structure, then target the Baron and
air assassinate him. This ends the memory and the 6th Sequence.

Full Synchronization- Do not drop below 5 health squares.

You'll need to enter the Thieves Guild to start this memory. Exit the Thieves
Guild and you will be tasked with defending it from a few waves of enemies.
After they are dead, follow La Volpe for a bit and you will have to fight off
more enemies that are chasing a thief. Follow La Volpe some more and rescue
thieves two more times to finish the memory.

_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Use Assassin Recruits to assassinate your targets.

Go to the gate and watch the cutscene. From here, follow Micheletto to some
ruins. You will need to stay close to him as he walks through the ruins. Climb
up to the left of the first two guards. You can actually run through the
middle of this area without being detected. You'll come across two guards on
your left and right eventually. Get between the two pillars there, then bolt
up into the opening to avoid detection. Watch out for two more patrolling
guards to your left. Approach the target to trigger a cutscene. Afterwards,
use your assassins to kill the lone target, then continue to follow
Micheletto. He'll go into some more ruins. Use the Courtesans to distract the
guards, then use your assassins to take out two targets this time. Continue
tailing Micheletto. In the next set of ruins have your assassins take out
three guys. Finally, tail Micheletto into the Colosseum to end this memory.

________________
Exit Stage Right
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Do not kill anyone other than the gunmen.

Get to the top of the Colosseum. Once up here, you have 5 minutes to kill the
gunmen. Jump down to your right and try to manuever past the guards here. Most
of them are looking away, but there are a few patrolling, so you might want to
shimmy along the side of the inner wall. Once you actually get to the gunmen,
taking them down is easy. Once they are all dead, join your recruits on the
ground floor. Go to the checkpoint to your left. Once there, activate Eagle
Vision and you will see a white spot on the ground. This is where you need to
stand in the play. Keep Eagle Vision so you can tell where to move. Finally,
use it to see Micheletto, and assassinate him to end the memory.

____________
Intervention
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Do not swim.

Carry Pietro outside and to the Doctor. Watch out for guards on your way
there. After this you will have to chase down the one-eyed man. Guards will
automatically attack you, but just ignore them and keep chasing after the
target. After you catch him you will have to rush to stop La Volpe. Just don't
get in the water and this mission is easy to fully synchronize.

_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Do not be detected.

Go to the Castel Sant'Angelo to start this memory. A lone guard patrols this
first area in a figure 8 pattern. Dispatch him and get up to the checkpoint.
Two guards patrol this wall, one at each end. Take them out. You will need to
find a way over to the door on the central tower. Once inside, be prepared for
a lengthy platforming sequence. Once you reach a circular window on the
outside, the memory ends.

______________
An Apple a Day
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Do not kill anyone.

Go around to the other side of the castle and climb in through the window.
After the cutscene, go down to the very bottom of this area. After Cesare
closes the gate, climb onto the boxes on the right. Run up the wall and jump
off onto the beam to your left. Climb up the hole above you and leap into the
hay. Here you will have a limited time to get to the basilica. Guards will
automatically chase you when you get near them. You can run away from them
until you get to the basilica, but to end the mission, you must become
anonymous, so try to find some kind of hiding spot before you get there. If
you don't care about full synch, then just kill them all when you get there,
though there are quite a few of them. Activate Eagle Vision and the egg in
the middle of the square will light up. This ends the mission.

_________________
The Apple of Eden
_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Do not lose any health.

Interact with the egg to start this memory. You need to know two things from
the start. First off, you are holding the Apple of Eden. It's powerful and
it will take down multiple enemies at once. Unfortunately, it saps your health.
Now, your health will regenerate, but the moment you use the apple, you will
fail the full synchronization challenge. Also, while you are holding the
apple, you cannot switch to any other weapons. So if you want to get full
synch, you literally can do nothing but run away. This is hard. To top it off,
once you are outside of the Vaticano district, you have to become anonymous.
The most difficult part of this whole thing will be shaking the agile guards,
the ones that can run as fast as you. It's imperative that you pay attention
to the blue hiding spots on your mini-map. If you can climb around and get
the soldiers off your ass for even a couple of seconds, you might have enough
time to dive into some hay and get the guards off of you. If you do this
outside of the Vaticano district, the memory automatically ends. If you are
still in the Vaticano district, try your best to stay hidden. Jump in the water
and swim to the Centro district if you have to.

The only thing you have to do here is go up the steps and watch the cutscene,
then kill a whole lot of guards using the Apple of Eden. Remember that the
yellow pulse is the one that makes guards attack each other, and the white
pulse is the one that kills them outright.

_______________________________________________________________________________

Full Synchronization- Do not drop below 5 health squares.

You can now finish the memory from the very beginning of the game. Kill some
guards and cannon fire will take care of the rest. Ride on horseback until
your horse dies. You'll then have to move through some ruins crawling with
guards. It is possible to do this using stealth, but definitely not easy.
After the cutscene where the woman gets stabbed, however, you will be forced
to start fighting enemies. After a bunch of running, climbing, and fighting,
you will finally face off against Cesare. He takes a beating and he calls in
for help, but once he's dead, Sequence 9 is over.

===============================================================================

By far the easiest collectibles are the Artifacts. Rightfully so, since you
only get an achievement for the first one. The other four are just there for
people who enjoy this kind of thing. They are all found in present day
Monteriggioni. From Sequence 2 onward, you'll be given the option to leave the
Animus when you pause the game. Do so to come back and look for the artifacts.
You can also check your email while you're here by going to the back of the
main room and accessing the glowing laptop.

1. Claudia's Record Book- As soon as you leave the main room and acquire the
watch and earpiece, you'll be put just outside of a door, facing a few
generators. Turn around and go back inside and look right. The book is
   laying on the floor here.

2. Maria's Feather Chest- Climb to the roof of the Villa. At the very top, in
a dent in the roof, is the chest. A lift can be used to get up here.

3. Mario's Sword- Go down the central steps at the front of the Villa. Once at
the bottom, go past the first shop and look right. On the side of the shop
is a white car, and there is an alley here. The sword is stuck into the
ground underneath a big tree in the alley.

4. Medici Cape- Go down the central steps at the front of the Villa. At the
bottom, continue along the main road. You should see a red car here. Turn
left into the alley where the car is parked. Keep going forward and you'll
walk right into a church. The cape is in here.

5. Ezio's Belt- Make your way to the main gate, the entrance to Monteriggioni.
When you're here, turn right and keep going straight. You'll climb a
small building with a railing on it. The belt is up here with some trash.

an intact pillar. The Feather is on top of this pillar. You'll have to jump
to it from the raised area East of the Colosseum.

2. Find the Colosseum. You can see that it is made up of a bunch of circles,
and that the outside circle ends abruptly. Go to where it ends on the
Western side and climb all the way to the top of the outside wall. You'll
   find the Feather here.

3. Find the landmark called the Basilica Di Massenzio, Northwest of the
Colosseum. From the landmark icon/placard, look Southwest. On the other side
of the road you should see three pillars. There is a lone broken pillar
that you won't use, and there are two pillars together, one broken, one

1. In the Northwestern area of Campagna, there is an Aqueduct you can repair,
next to a Doctor. If you follow this Aqueduct West, you'll see a church to
the South called Trinita Dei Monti. You were required to climb it as part
of your first quest in Rome. There is also a Tunnel Entrance on the church
grounds. The Feather is on top of the church, on the North side.

2. Find the white dotted line on your map. You'll notice that it winds South
and then makes an abrupt turn to the East. At this turn, on the Eastern
side of the line, you'll find a landmark called Terme Di Diocleziano. Go
South until you reach the next Tunnel Entrance. East of that you'll find
the Barracks, where Bartolomeo resides. There is also a Pigeon Coop and a
Faction Building in the area. Climb to the top of the Barracks to get the

2. Find the Pantheon. It's a large structure in the middle of the district.
On top of the Pantheon, at the very front, there is a cross. The Feather
   is on the cross.

3. Find the Palazzo Senatorio in the Southeast part of the district. The
Feather is on top of the main central building here.

4. Notice how Centro is divided into two parts that are connected via
bridges. Tiber Island, the island with Ezio's Hideout on it, is between
these two parts. In the lowest part, there are only two black structures

_______________
Antico District
_______________________________________________________________________________

1. In the very Southwestern corner of Antico you'll find the a small town
with the Thieves Guild in it. Just East of this town is the landmark
Piramide Cestia. If you were to go to the halfway point between the town
and the landmark, and then go due North, you would be between two roads,
one that leads to the Thieves Guild and one that curves and goes East
past the landmark. In this area between the roads there are some ruins and
broken pillars. The Flag is atop one of these pillars. There is a Pigeon
Coop right next to the Flag.

2. This Flag is Northwest of the landmark Piramide Cestia and Southeast of
Flag #1. North of the landmark there is a North/South road that curves and
goes East. When this road curves, you'll notice a small white rectangle
next to the road on your map. This is the site of some ruins and broken
pillars. The Flag is on one of these pillars.

3. Due East of Flag #1 and Northeast of the Piramide Cestia, there is a small
town with a Borgia/Assassin Tower, Faction Building, and a Blacksmith in
it. The whole town is on a raised area. The South side of town has some
ruins and broken pillars. The Flag is on top of a pillar.

4. On the South side of the same town where you found Flag #3, there is a
broken walkway leading to another raised area. Get on a horse and jump the
gap. This is the only way I've ever been able to get over there. Once over
here, go East and you'll see some ruins and broken pillars. The Flag is on
top of a platform held up by two pillars.

5. Just Southeast of Flag #4 there is a town with a Pigeon Coop, Tunnel
Entrance, and the landmark Terme Di Caracalla. This is the Southern most
town in the Antico district, and it is on the South side of the white dotted
line. You'll notice the buildings/ruins make what looks like an elongated
C on your map. Go to the middle of that C structure and you'll find a
herald, some pools, and four intact pillars. The Flag is on one of these
pillars. You'll have to climb on top of the large circular Colosseum-type
structure and jump onto one of the pillars from there.

6. In the same town as Flag #5. There is a tall building just Northeast of
that Flag and the circular Colosseum-type structure. There is some grass
growing on top of the building. The Flag is on the roof.

7. In the same town as Flags #5 and #6. Aside from the elongated C structure,
if you look on your map you'll notice four more buildings, two squares and
two buildings that look vaguely like someone giving a thumbs up. Go to the
Southern most thumbs up building and find some broken pillars here. The
Flag is on one of the pillars.

8. Go due East from the town where you found the previous three Flags and
you'll come across two raised areas. They both have a lot of trees on them,
but the one closest to the city wall also has some ruins on it. The Flag is
on top of a ruined piece of building. You will still be on the Southern
side of the white dotted line.

9. From Flag #8, if you go North/Northeast you should see a Doctor. North
of him, on the Southern side of the Aqueduct, you'll find a pillar with the
Flag on it. The only other thing in the area will be broken pillars and
part of a small ruined structure with a treasure chest inside. It's almost
due South of the Colosseo landmark icon. You will have to get on top of the
Aqueduct and jump to the pillar from there. The closest place to get up
there is actually at the Broken Aqueduct icon East of you, just on the other
side of the white dotted line.

10. East of Flag #9 there is a white dotted line that makes up three sides of
a rectangle. The city wall makes up the fourth side. Just inside this
line in the Northwest corner there is a Broken Aqueduct and a Faction
Building. There are also some pillars in the area. The Flag is on one of
these pillars. You'll have to climb onto the Aqueduct and jump onto the
    pillar from there.

11. Inside the same white dotted line where you found Flag #10, there is a
town to the Southeast. In this town you'll notice a white square next to a
black building called the Palazzo Laterano. Between the square and the
Palazzo there is a tower. The Flag is on top of the tower.

12. In the same town as Flag #11, there is a Borgia/Assassin Tower. North of
the tower, on the other side of the Aqueduct, there is a group of
buildings. The Flag is on top of the tallest one.

13. There is a road that goes North out of the same town where you found Flags
#11 and #12. Follow that road until you are outside of the white dotted
line, then look on the side of the road for some broken pillars. The Flag
is on top of a platform held up by two pillars.

14. In the Eastern most Antico district there is a town squeezed between the
city walls, the Antico/Campagna border, and the white dotted line. From
this town, go East until you see the closed gate on the city wall. On the
side of the road there are a bunch of broken pillars. The Flag is on top of
a platform held up by three pillars.

15. East of the Colosseum you'll find the landmark called Terme Di Traiano.
The actual Terme Di Traiano is a bunch of ruins that extend East/Southeast.
At the Southeast end of these ruins, you'll find the Flag on top of a
platform held up by three pillars. These pillars are by the entrance to
the Shrine of Romulus that you had to enter when you were doing the
    memory The Halls of Nero.

16. Find the Terme Di Traiano landmark icon East of the Colosseum. A bit
Northeast of the icon, in the actual Terme Di Traiano ruins, you'll find
some pillars holding up platforms. They make a kind of broken square. The
Flag is on top of one of these platforms.

17. Go to the Terme Di Traiano landmark icon/placard and look South. You'll see
some broken pillars and a platform being held up by four pillars. The Flag
is on top of this platform.

18. From the Colosseum you should see a very short road leading East. Where
this road ends, there are steps leading up to the Terme Di Traiano landmark
icon/placard. Look on the Southern side of the steps and you'll see some
pillars. The Flag is on top of one of them.

19. On the Southeast side of the Colosseum, you'll notice that the outside
circle ends abruptly. The Flag is sitting on the end of the outside wall,
one level down from the very top.

20. Just West of the Colosseum you'll see a landmark called the Arco Di
Constantino. The Flag is on top of this landmark.

21. Northwest of the Colosseum you'll see a landmark called the Basilica Di
Massenzio next to a Tunnel Entrance. Between the Basilica Di Massenzio and
the Colosseum there is a tall red brick building. The Flag is on top of it.

22. Find the Palazzo Senatorio. It's in the Centro district, next to the point
where all three districts meet. Behind the Palazzo Senatorio there are
stairs leading down into the Antico district. At the top of these stairs,
look Southeast and you'll see a platform being held up by three pillars.
The Flag is on this platform.

23. Just West of the Colosseum you should see the landmark Arco Di Tito. From
there, move Southwest and you'll quickly come across some broken pillars.
The Flag is on top of an intact pillar. It's almost due East of the
Borgia/Assassin Tower next to the Romulus Treasure.

24. From Flag #23, keep moving Southwest. You'll have to climb up the
cliff/wall. Up here there are more pillars next to the end of an Aqueduct.
The Flag is on top of a platform being held up by three pillars.

25. West of the Colosseum there is a landmark called the Colle Palatino. The
placard where you can renovate the landmark is at the top of some stairs.
Next to the stairs, to the West/Southwest, there are some pillars. The
Flag is on top of a platform being held up by two pillars.

26. This Flag is Southwest of the Colle Palatino. It is also almost due North
of the Borgia/Assassin Tower and the town where you found Flag #3. On your
map you can see that the town with the tower and Flag #3 has a road that
makes a circle around it. This same road then goes North and makes a 90
degree turn East, and eventually connects to another road. Look at the
road after it turns East but before it connects back to the main road.
There's a weird looking bulge in the middle. There are ruins here, and
you'll find the Flag on top of a pillar in these ruins.

Campagna District
_______________________________________________________________________________

1. In the Northwestern area of Campagna, there is an Aqueduct you can repair,
next to a Doctor. You were required to visit that Doctor as part of your
first quest in Rome. Follow the Aqueduct West until it ends at the
Campagna/Centro border. The flag is on top of the Aqueduct at the end.

2. At the end of the same Aqueduct where you found Flag #1, you should see a
ramp that winds down into the Centro district. Look over the side of the
wall before the ramp starts. The Flag is on a rooftop on the other side,
next to one of those structures you can hide in. On your mini-map, the Flag
will be right on the Campagna/Centro border line.

3. From the end of the Aqueduct holding Flag #1, go due South until the
Campagna/Centro border takes a 90 degree turn. You should be just Southwest
of a church with a Tunnel Entrance. The Flag is on top of a ruin/platform
   held up by three pillars.

4. Just Southeast of Flag #3 and due South of the church with the Tunnel
Entrance, there are some more broken pillars. This Flag is on one of them.
On your mini-map, the Flag will be right on the Campagna/Centro border line
   as it slants downward.

5. Due East of the Tunnel Entrance on the grounds of the church Trinita Dei
Monti, the same church that was by Flag #3, you'll find more broken pillars.
The Flag is on top of a ruin/platform held up by three pillars. You have to
climb a short wall next to the pillars to get up to it.

6/7. South/Southeast of Flag #5, and Southeast of the Tunnel Entrance in the
same area, there are more broken pillars. You'll find both Flags on two
     seperate pillars here.

8. Almost due East of the Tunnel Entrance. Find the Broken Aqueduct icon on
your map that belongs to the same Aqueduct on which you found Flag #1. Go
to the icon or architect if he's still there, and look Southeast. You should
see more broken pillars on a slightly raised area. The Flag is on top of the
ruin/platform held up by three pillars.

9. On your map, look at the very Northern part of Campagna and go to the
middle. You should see that the road forks, makes a kind of circle, and
comes back together. This area is also bisected by a white dotted line. On
The Western side of that dotted line, right at the fork in the road, there
are more broken pillars. The Flag is on top of one of them. These pillars
are almost due North of a Faction Building.

10. In the middle of the Centro district there is a landmark called the
Pantheon. It's hard to miss, so find it on your map, and move due East.
After you pass the Campagna/Centro border, you'll come to a town. There's
a Borgia/Assassin Tower in the Southeast part of town, and in the middle
there is a road that makes an oval, kind of like a racetrack. In the oval
there is an Art Merchant. The Flag is on the roof of the Art Merchant's
    building.

11. In the Southwestern most part of Campagna you'll find a landmark called
the Mercati Di Traiano. Just Northeast of this is a part of the town that
makes a kind of square on your mini-map. This square is between the
Campagna/Centro border and the first North/South road on your map. There's
a well in the middle of the square. The flag is on a flat rooftop on the
    Eastern part of the square.

12. In the Southwestern most part of Campagna you'll find a landmark called
the Mercati Di Traiano. Go to it, then move East and climb the wall. Up
here you'll be standing in front of a line of buildings. Check the rooftops
of the buildings on the Southern end to find this Flag.

13. In the Southwestern most part of Campagna you'll find a landmark called
the Mercati Di Traiano. Find it on the map and move East until you pass the
first North/South road. From here, look Northeast and you should see a
building that resembles a tetris block or an upside-down L. This building
is part of a French encampment. It is surrounded by wooden spikes and there
will be blue banners flying over the place. The Flag is on top of this
    particular building.

14. Find the white dotted line on your map. You'll notice that it winds South
and then makes an abrupt turn to the East. At this turn, on the Eastern
side of the line, you'll find a landmark called Terme Di Diocleziano.
Look Southwest of it and find a building that looks like a C. There's a
Pigeon Coop here. Below this building there is a different building at the
end of a different road. This building is just North of a Borgia/Assassin
Tower and is built into the cliffside. The Flag is right in front of the
    lone building.

15. From Flag #14, go South and you'll wind up in the water surrounding a
Borgia/Assassin Tower. The Flag is on the backside of the island at the
very bottom, on the bank. If you're coming from Flag #14, you should see it
    before you even get there.

16. On top of the Borgia/Assassin Tower next to Flag #15. Note that this Flag
is unmissable. You won't even be able to get to the tower until the memory
Between a Rock and a Hard Place in Sequence 3. In this memory you are
required to kill the Borgia Captain and burn the tower. When you burn the
tower, you will automatically grab the Flag.

17. Just South/Southeast of the Borgia/Assassin Tower where you found Flags
#15 and #16 you should see a Doctor, a Tunnel Entrance, and a church. The
Flag is on top of the church.

18. From Flag #17, look Southeast. On the Western side of the white dotted
line, near the Campagna/Antico border, there is a Broken Aqueduct icon.
Climb the Western end of the Aqueduct to find the Flag on top.

19. At a town in the Southeastern corner of the Campagna district there is a
Borgia/Assassin Tower. The Flag is on a beam sticking out of the Southwest
    corner of the tower.

20. In the same town as Flag #19, find the Blacksmith. The building North of
him has a tower on it. The Flag is on top of the tower.

21. On the Northeastern part of the wall that surrounds Rome, there is a
group of buildings outside of the wall. These are part of a French
fortress. As you get close, you'll see a French encampment on the inside
of the wall flying blue banners. Look at the huge gate that serves as the
entrance from the encampment to the actual fortress. Near the top, on
either side of the gate, there are two "rooms" that stick out of the wall.
The Flag is on the one to the right. You'll have to climb the left side
room and swing across to get to it.

22. After you get Flag #21, enter the fortress and make your way to the
Northeastern most building in the area. You'll have to pass through a
short but wide gate on your way here. The Flag is on top of this building.

23. From Flag #21, look out into the French encampment. The Western side has
a little gate, directly opposite the big gate leading into the actual
fortress. Just North of this gate there is a building inside the
encampment. The Flag is on this building.

24. Northwest of the French camp where you found Flag #23, there is a small
town with a Tunnel Entrance, Art Merchant, Stable, and a Blacksmith. There
is a tower attached to the building with the Blacksmith. The Flag is on
    top of the tower.

25. Find the white dotted line on your map. You'll notice that it winds South
and then makes an abrupt turn to the East. At this turn, on the Eastern
side of the line, you'll find a landmark called Terme Di Diocleziano.
Right next to the landmark icon there is a Tunnel Entrance inside a
semi-circular structure composed of a bunch of archways. The Flag is in
    one of the archways.

26. Find the white dotted line on your map. You'll notice that it winds South
and then makes an abrupt turn to the East. At this turn, on the Eastern
side of the line, you'll find a landmark called Terme Di Diocleziano.
Just North of the actual icon there are some broken pillars. The Flag is
on top of a ruin/platform being held up by four pillars.

_______________
Centro District
_______________________________________________________________________________

1. Go to the Northern part of the Centro district, and find the Northwestern
most building. On your map it is a long thin rectangle. There is a beam
sticking out of the Western side of the building with the Flag on it.

2. Find the Northern most Tunnel Entrance. It is the entrance at the Piazza
Del Popolo. Right next to it, to the South, are two identical structures
that are black on your map. On the South side of the Western structure,
there are beams that connect it to the adjacent building. The Flag is on
   one of those beams.

3. Find the Northern most Tunnel Entrance. It is the entrance at the Piazza
Del Popolo. Get right next to it and face East. Go that way, through any
of the entrances, as long as you are on the path that runs parallel to the
Centro/Campagna border. Stay on this path and go South. Very quickly you
should pass a building to your West that looks a bit like a boomerang or a
fat letter A. It is also at this point, if you're still looking South,
that you will see a building directly in front of you. You will still be
able to continue going forward because the building has a big archway that
cuts right through the middle of it. Go to the Eastern side of this building
and climb up to a balcony-type thing with vines all over it. The Flag is
   here.

4. Southwest of the Piazza Del Popolo Tunnel Entrance, you'll find another
Tunnel Entrance at the Augustus Mausoleum. Go to that entrance and walk
East. Turn North at the first set of stairs and go down them. Note that
these are NOT the stairs right by the Tunnel Entrance that wrap around and
lead to the docks. These stairs only go North/South. At the bottom of the
stairs the path forks. Go left and you will see a Herald standing against
the low wall. Go to that wall and follow it North. You will be in a narrow
alley behind the building. Against the building you will see a bench and a
ladder. Climb the ladder and you will see the Flag sitting on a balcony-type
   thing with vines on it.

5. In the Northern part of the district, find the landmark called the
Mausoleo Di Augusto. It's a nearly perfectly round structure. Go up to the
icon/placard where you renovate the landmark, and turn around. Walk forward.
You should be walking due West. Go past the two red "shops" here and you'll
be at a low wall. There is a building right next to you. Climb onto the
back of the building and you'll find a beam sticking out with the Flag on
   it.

6. In the Northern part of the district, find the landmark called the
Mausoleo Di Augusto. It's a nearly perfectly round structure. Look East of
it and you should see a Faction Building. Go to the front door of that
building and turn South. Go down the street. You should see the Flag on the
back of the building as you get close. It's on a beam sticking out of the
building at the bottom of the stairs.

7. In the Northern part of the district, find the landmark called the
Mausoleo Di Augusto. It's a nearly perfectly round structure.
South/Southeast of it there is a Borgia/Assassin Tower, and Southeast of the
tower you'll find Horse Stables and a Doctor. Go to the Doctor's shop and
look up. The Flag is on a beam sticking out of one of the walls above you.

8. East of the Doctor where you found Flag #7, you should see a Tailor Shop.
If you're facing the shop, take the path left of it and go North. You'll
have to turn Northeast to continue on. Keep going forward until you see the
hay. Go to it and look right. You should see a Herald. The Flag is on a
beam sticking out of the building above and behind him.

9. Find the Tailor Shop you used to help you get to Flag #8. Keep going South
and you'll eventually see a Blacksmith, a Bank, a black structure on your
map, and a Borgia/Assassin Tower. On the West side of the tower there are
some lines that connect to the next building. Once you're on this building,
jump onto the lower of the two flat rooftops in front of you, and look off
the Western side of the building. The Flag is on a beam down here.

10. Find the Pantheon. It's a large structure in the middle of the Centro
district. There is an Art Merchant to the East. Go to the Art Merchant and
walk down the street to the South. At the bottom of the stairs, you should
see an open doorway to your right. Go into it and the Flag will be on a
    wooden platform above you.

11. Find the Pantheon. It's a large structure in the middle of the Centro
district. On the West side of the Pantheon, near the front, there is a
building with some red hay in front of it. This building has a small
tower on it with a cross on top of that. The Flag is on the cross.

12. Find the Pantheon. Look Northwest of it until you see the Blacksmith. Go
to the Blacksmith shop and face it. Now look to the left of the shop. There
is an alley here. Start climbing through it and you will see the Flag on a
beam in the alley across the street.

13. Find the Pantheon. Look Northwest of it until you see a Borgia/Assassin
Tower. Climb onto the rooftop so that you are on the North side of the
tower. Now climb across the rooftops going West. As you are doing so,
look to your right. You can't help but see the Flag on a beam sticking out
of a building below you, to your right. On your map, the building will look
like it has a rectangular piece cut out of it.

14. This Flag is on top of the Rosa in Fiore. If you can't find it, there's a
Tunnel Entrance right in front of it that's also named after it. It's on
the Western side of the Centro district.

15. Southeast of the Rosa in Fiore there is a Blacksmith. Go to him and start
walking down the street going East. As you walk, look right. You should
see some stairs that go nowhere, a scaffold, and an archway you can walk
through. Go through that archway and you will be in a courtyard. Look up
high on the Eastern wall and you'll see the Flag on a beam sticking out of
    the wall.

16. Find Ezio's Hideout. It's on the island in the middle of the district.
From here, look Northwest and you should see a Blacksmith and a Doctor,
both of whom are just South of a Borgia/Assassin Tower. Go to the Doctor
shop and climb to the top of his building. Now jump across to the rooftop
to the West. Continue West across the lines and on the next rooftop, look
down off the Western side. The Flag is on an archway connecting the two
    buildings.

17. Find Ezio's Hideout and look North until you see a Bank. Go to it and look
on the right side. You should see a treasure chest and an alley. Jump
through the alley and onto the wooden platform on the next building. Turn
left and you will see the Flag, two platforms away.

18. Find the Palazzo Senatorio in the Southeast area of Centro. Now find the
Tunnel Entrance directly in front of it. On your map you will see a black
structure just Northeast of the Tunnel Entrance. Go to the Eastern side of
that structure and you will see the Flag on an archway sticking out of it.

19. Find the Palazzo Senatorio. Northeast of it there is a Tailor Shop. Go to
it, then go South down the street in front of it. You'll be forced to turn
left. Keep going East until you see stairs on your left and right. The
ones on your right lead into another district, the small set on your left
goes nowhere. Next to the stairs on the left, however, is an alley. The
Flag is on an archway in this alley.

20. This Flag is near the top of Ezio's Hideout, on the Southwest side. It is
next to a Pigeon Coop. Ezio's Hideout is on the island in the middle of
    the Centro district.

21. On Tiber Island, the same island that Ezio's Hideout is on, find the
Tailor Shop. Go to it and turn around so you are facing away from it. Go
past the tree and climb onto the building you are now facing. The Flag is
on a beam sticking out of the back of the building.

22. Find Ezio's Hideout and look Southwest. You should see a Tunnel Entrance
at Tevere Port. Go to that entrance. At the top of the stairs here, if you
look left, you should see some pillars. Go to them and you'll see more
pillars behind them. The Flag is on one of these pillars.

23. Very close to the Tevere Port Tunnel Entrance. Go to that entrance and
go due West. The Flag is on a ruined piece of building just past the
    three arches.

24. Southwest of the Tevere Port Tunnel Entrance you'll find a Blacksmith.
Go to him, then go down the street leading West. Follow it and you'll
quickly see three pillars in the road. The Flag is on one of them.

25. Northwest of the Tevere Port Tunnel Entrance you'll find a Blacksmith.
Face his shop and turn right. Go that way. You should see some hay down
the street to your right. Go to it and you'll see some horses to your right
and an alley you can go into. Go into it, then go left, past the wooden
steps. You should see a short red brick building in front of you. Climb
onto it. Look to your right and you'll see that you can climb up higher.
The Flag is at the very top of the highest part here.

26. Look Northwest of the Tevere Port Tunnel Entrance. In the Northwest
corner of this area of Centro, you should see a black structure on your
map. Just below that structure, a little to the Southwest, is one single
white square. Go to it and you'll see that it's a ruined building. Just
South of it are two pillars. The Flag is on one of them.

Vaticano District
_______________________________________________________________________________

1. The large, Eastern most structure in the district is the Castel
Sant'Angelo. In the water on the Eastern side of this structure there is a
post sticking up. The Flag is on it.

2. On top of the Castel Sant'Angelo, you'll notice a huge flag. Climb this
flag to get the actual flag.

3. On your map you should see one main road in the Vaticano district that goes
East/west. It leads to the large structure on the Western side of the
district. On your map you'll notice three circles at different points on
the road. Go to the middle circle. Just North of it there is a black
building on your map. The Flag is on top of this building on the South
   side.

4. Go to the North side of the building where you found Flag #3. Look down the
street to the West. You can see that it is not straight. It has to go
diagonally at one point because of a building here. The building has a
balcony-type thing with vines on it pretty low to the ground. Get onto this
building's rooftop and you will see a short ladder leading up to a higher
flat rooftop. The Flag is up there.

5. Look on your map at the Western end of the Vaticano district. You will see
three large black structures sitting in a straight line going East/West.
Look at the Eastern most structure, the one that looks like it has a bunch
of lines. On the Eastern side, the entrance is made up of two identical
structures that look like squares with circles cut out of the middle. The
Flag is on the North one, just above the actual entrance.

Shrine at Terme Di Traiano
_______________________________________________________________________________

Terme Di Traiano is a landmark in the Antico district, just East of the
Colosseum. The shrine entrance is around the Southeast corner of the ruins.
You are required to go through the shrine for the memory The Halls of Nero.

1. After you hit the four switches at the beginning, you'll be required to
jump into the hole. From here you must move into an opening that has a large
stone urn/pedestal. You are supposed to go right, but instead, go left. Keep
going until you see another stone pedestal. The flag is on top of it.

2. After you exit the room where you have to get past the large area covered
with fire, you'll find yourself in this room. There's nothing of interest
in here. You'll have to back eject onto a beam when you first enter, and
then jump onto some rubble. When you are on that first piece of rubble, look
to your right and you'll see a small archway on the wall and some hand holds
that you can jump to. Climb up them and go left. You'll drop down onto the
area above the exit to this room. Jump across the gap and climb the wall
again, and continue going left until you reach the flag.

3. You'll enter a room with a bonfire in the middle and a throne. You will have
to climb the throne and work your way left around the room until you're
on the other side of the throne. Here, you are supposed to go left, onto
the balcony. Instead, go right and climb around to the flag.

Shrine at Terme Di Diocleziano
_______________________________________________________________________________

You'll find this landmark in the Campagna district, just East of the white
dotted line. There is also an identically named Tunnel Entrance here. To get
to the lair, go up the stairs into the ruins and look left. There's a pool
here. Jump in.

1. As you're chasing your target, you'll come to a cutscene where you have to
fight some guards and your target will be behind an iron gate. Look on the
wall to your left. The Flag is on a beam sticking out of the wall.

2. You'll enter a room and a cutscene will play where your target throws his
ally onto some scaffolding that collapses. You will then have to kill
some enemies. In this room, climb onto the lines with the laundry on them
and climb around the room. You'll have to fight more Romulus followers.
You'll eventually wind up in a hole on the side of the room with the Flag
   in it.

3. In the room where you finally fight the target you were chasing. You'll see
the Flag on the right side, behind a gate. You will have to dive underwater
   to get to it.

Shrine at Palazzo Laterano
_______________________________________________________________________________

This landmark is in the Southern Antico district, inside the rectangular
white dotted line. There is an identically named Tunnel Entrance here. Look
directly North of the Tunnel Entrance and you'll see a building that makes a
white square on your map. It's connected to the actual Palazzo. The inside of
the square is a courtyard that has no opening on the ground. You can only get
in by jumping down off the roof. The entrance to the shrine is in here.

1. After you jump across the big hole in the floor, you'll have to go up one
level. As you jump across, you'll find yourself jumping on the tops of two
doors. Here, you should be able to see the Flag just to your left. To get
to it, keep going until you reach a fork in your path. Go left to get the
   Flag.

2. After you jump across the chandeliers and nearly fall, you should see this
Flag behind a gate to your right. To get it, go across the beams and drop
down in the next big room. You should see a statue of the virgin Mary in
the center. Climb it and jump right to get the Flag.

3. After the part where the floors start falling apart, you'll have to jump
around a lot. Once you get back on solid ground, you should see the Flag
in front of you. Jump over onto the wooden flooring to get to it.

Shrine at Colosseo
_______________________________________________________________________________

The Colosseum is hard to miss. It's the huge circular landmark in the middle of
the Antico district. The shrine entrance is on the ground floor on the
Western side.

1. You'll see this Flag when you first enter the shrine, behind the second gate
to your right. To get it, get up onto the beams above you. You will have
the option to go left or right. Go left and jump over the gate into the
   room.

2. After you chase the target, you'll come to a party. Here you have to use
Eagle Vision to follow the gold trail to see where your target went. The
trail will lead you up some stairs. At the bottom of the stairs you will
see the Flag behind a gate to your left. To get to it, go up the stairs.
At the top you will be looking down on the room you just came from. Go
right and drop down into the next room, then go through the red curtains
right by you. The Flag is in here, underneath the platform you were just
   standing on.

3. You'll come to a part where you have to chase your target on a horse. Near
the beginning of this sequence, you will see the Flag in plain sight just
above you. The trick here is to tap A to stand on your horse, then hit A
again to jump to the beam when you get under it. Jump to the Flag, then
continue across the beams and get back on a horse. If you take too long to
get the Flag you will desynchronize. However, you only have to pick the
Flag up one time and you will always have it even if you desynch.

Shrine at Piramide Cestia
_______________________________________________________________________________

The Piramide Cestia is a landmark built into the city wall on the Southern side
of the Antico district. The shrine entrance is right next to it, also on the
city wall.

1. As you are going through the shrine, you'll get to a part where you have to
swing across some beams and land on a wooden platform. You must go forward
to continue, but there is a room to your left with a treasure chest in it.
Remember what this set-up looks like. You will come across it two more
times. The third time, there will be a lit torch next to the doorway. Enter,
and climb up the ladder when you find it. The Flag will be in plain sight
   shortly after this.

2. After a time spent running around the maze of catacombs, you'll come to a
cutscene where Ezio throws a torch down a deep well. You will have to climb
down that well and into more catacombs. Here, you will enter a room with
some beams ahead of you and some rings on the wall to your right that you
can use as hand holds. Above these rings there is a gate, and the Flag is
behind it. To get to it, keep going straight like you normally would.
Eventually you will be given the option to continue going straight or to
turn right. Go right and follow this particular tunnel all the way to the
   Flag.

3. Shortly after the last Flag you will finally find yourself inside of a
church. A cutscene will play where two Followers of Romulus run off.
You can see the Flag during the cutscene. It is on a wooden platform high
above you on the right side. To get there, climb onto the posts in the
middle of the room and onto the wooden structures on the left side. Work
your way around until you are on a bar hanging directly above the entrance.
Swing off of it onto the next platform. Here, you can jump directly to
another beam, but don't do it. Instead, climb up the East wall, the one
with the entrance on it. You can back eject onto a beam higher up and hop
over to the Flag from there.

Shrine at Basilica di San Pietro
_______________________________________________________________________________

On the Western end of the Vaticano district, you will notice three large
black structures on your map going in a straight line East to west. The Eastern
most structure is the one you are looking for. Go in the Eastern entrance and
you will be in a courtyard. On the other side of this courtyard are some wide
steps. The shrine entrance is to the right of those steps.

1. Almost as soon as you start chasing the priest, he'll use a lift and you
will have to climb up the inside of a tower after him. At the top, you
will go across some lines to get outside. However, if you look right, you
will notice an alternate opening up here. Go to it and look on the
obelisk outside. The Flag is on top of it.

2. After the short cutscene where you grab a lamp to swing and it breaks. You
will eventually be very high up, close to the ceiling. There will be a part
where you have to swing on three lamps that are fairly close to each other.
After the third lamp, stop and look left. The Flag is right here in plain
   sight. Just grab it.

3. After you finally fight and kill the priest, you will have to take a leap
of faith. Walk out onto the plank, but don't jump just yet. Instead, drop
down. The Flag is right below you.

Southern city wall. From here, go Northeast until you see another landmark

Castel Sant'Angelo
_______________________________________________________________________________

This large structure is the Eastern most building in the Vaticano district.
This is easiest to obtain when you're doing the memory Castello Crasher in
Sequence 4. Actually, that may be the only time to obtain it. If you look
directly at the castle from the bridge, you'll see the first wall is sort of
small, and behind it there is a much taller wall. Behind that is the actual
castle. You need to get on this tallest wall in the middle. You will have to
do it as part of the mission anyway. In the middle there is some hay, and
directly in front of it, on the actual castle, there is a room that kind of
sticks out. The cluster is on the front of this room.

get to the very top of the wall and climb down to the cluster.

cluster.
