A Highly Overlooked Gem-The Guide - Guide for Phantasy Star Online 1 & 2 Plus

The title says it:  this is one of the most highly overlooked gems in gaming 
history.  It was great for both single- and multi- player action.  What more could 
you ask for?  So if you do have this game and you're looking for a guide, or you

1.Picking a Class
There are three main classes:  human, ranger, and spellcaster.  My favorite is the 
Ranger, because they have great aim and range.

1.Human
*Mainly melee combat
*Weapons of choice are swords
*They're pretty much (otherwise) all-around

2.Ranger
*Mainly long-range combat
*Weapons of choice are guns
*The Robots look awsome
*The Robots can see traps (Actually, ALL Robots can do this)

3.Spellcasters
*Mainly use magic as their attacks
*Don't use weapons very often
*Have weak attacks

A.Boombas
These are your common, every-day enemies.  The best way to kill 'em is with a 
couple of long-ranged shots from a gun.  Or, if you're ready, hack 'n slash.

*They're slow
*They're not real powerful
*Try long-range if your at a low level

B.Go-Boomas
These are like Boomas on steroids, although they're still not real strong.

*Still slow
*A little more powerful
*Definately long-range if you're at a low level

C.Wolves
Wolves will attack if you show your back, so meet them eye-to-eye.

*Can knock you over with a pounce
*Can charge up to get more power and defense

D.Giants
Giants are big and VERY strong.  Try to catch them off guard, and keep fighting!

*Super strong
*Unless you're a fighter, don't get too close!
*They can throw stuff

E.The Dragon
A giant, powerful Dragon that can breathe fire.

*If it burrows, follow it on your map, and keep away!
*If it jumps, RUN!
*If it breathes fire, stick to the walls.

A.The Big Worm-Thing
This guy is really tough.  First you have to shoot off its tough armour, and once 
it breaks off, you'll have a little bit of an easier time.

*When it jumps onto your raft, watch out for its tentacles that will try to impale 
you.

A.Robots
These are your basic enemies.  They have strong ranged-shots, so keep your distance.

*Usually pretty slow
*Strong attacks

B.Traps
These usually just explode if you get too close.

*Only robots can see them

C.The Main Computer
The Main Computer grows tentacles to hit you with.  Fight back by destroying the 
cylinders and computer screens.

*The second battle is similar to the first-just shoot the tentacles and screens
