                                      STORY

Crash Bandicoot 2 picks up where Crash Bandicoot left off - 

As Cortex falls from his hot air baloon, he takes refuge in a dark cave and finds a 
master crystal. Soon he and his old friend N.Gin make a space station called the 
CORTEX VORTEX and plans to destroy the earth with the power of the master crystal 
and 25 slave crystals! But he hits a snag! He got no friends on Earth left so how 
does he collect the slave crystals? And this is where Crash comes in. Cortex 
manages to convince Crash that he wants to save the Earth with the crystals and 
stop his enemies from destroying it! So Crash, like a sheep, agrees to get the 
crystals! SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL CRASH HE'S GOING TO DESTROY THE EARTH!!!!!!!!

                                    BOSS GUIDE

Here I'll give you hints on how to defeat the bosses - 

RIPPER ROO - Always stay at the back when facing Ripper Roo because he lays TNT and 
NITRO all over the big platform and the only safe patches are always on the back. 
Hit Roo with a tornado attack when he's dizzy. This has to be done 3 times.

KOMODO BROTHERS - Komodo Joe and his brother are out to get you in this one. Need 
some advice? RUN LIKE MAD!!! Komodo Joe's bro also start throwing swords at YOU in 
when you are about to outlast Komodo Joe in the final attack so you better RUN LIKE 
MAD!! Hit Komodo Joe (the thinner one or the one who keeps spinning in CIRCLES with 
his sword) with a tornado attack everytime he gets dizzy. This has to be done 3 
times.

TINY TIGER - Easy as pie. Jump keep jumping from platform to platform with Tiny 
chasing you and when some platforms start flashing then jump to one which is not 
flashing and Tiny Tiger will be one one platform which is flashing (hopefully) and 
all the platforms that are flashing will simply fall down with Tiny on them. This 
has to be done 3 times.

N.GIN - Easily the hardest boss of all time, N.Gin comes in his own robotic 
spaceship. The attacks are in 3 waves. they are as follow - 

FIRST WAVE - The robots' hands will open and close a lot. When they are open simply 
throw wumpa-fruit at them by pressing O or SQUARE. But Beware! Sometimes N.Gin 
shoots red lasers out of them! If they are going downwards when they are coming at 
you jump over them and if they are going upwards then just run under them.

SECOND WAVE - The robots' shoulders will now open and close. Again throw Wumpa-
fruit at them when they are open. But now the robot shoot missiles which go really 
high and come back down with a BANG! and incinerate you if you are too close. To 
dodge them just first go to the extreme right (or left. You can judge by looking at 
the shadows of the falling missiles) and waiting for the missile to explode. To 
dodge the second wave go the extreme left (or to the extreme right if you had to go 
left the first time) and wait for them to explode and so on and so forth. When you 
reduce the robot to one shoulder the missiles go around the platform railing and go 
sideways at you from the right. Just jump over them and keep hitting the remaining 
shoulder until it explodes.

THIRD WAVE - Now the robot comes with this HUMUNGUS green laser shooter in its 
belly! I was petrified the first time I saw it! The power of that laser is sooo 
great that it destroys an entire part of the platform when it is fired! (Don't 
worry! It flies back up after a short time as there are only three parts of the 
platform) First time the robot comes up on the middle part. Second on the right 
part and third on the left part. (Then the middle one and the right one fly back 
up) I strongly suggest that you hit the laser only once before you jump to another 
platform as you'll get ROASTED by the laser otherwise. So I can only give you 3 
hits on the laser. But YOU NEED 5! So its up to you to get the other two hits, 
buddy!

Neo Cortex - The easiest boss of all time!! For pete's sake, he doesn't even attack 
you!! All you have to do is hit him three times and he's toast! But there is a 
hitch....You're on jet packs! (But yours goes faster, of course) Your going to have 
to dodge rocks mostly, so get some practice by playing the jet-pack levels. (Pack 
Attack and some other one....both on the fifth warp-pad)

                                  SECRET WARP-PAD

Not many people know that there is a SECRET SIXTH WARP-PAD with two extra levels in 
it! The other three levels are secret parts of some normal levels. I know three 
ways on how to get there -

1) Do the level BEAR DOWN. (Warp-pad 3) At the end where polar throws you off, you 
can see that while you are flying through the air, over the water, there are some 
blue icicles leading up to an iceberg. Jump from icicle to icicle until you get to 
the iceberg. When Crash's feet touch the iceberg, you'll be transported to the 
secret warp-pad.

2) Go to AIR CRASH. (Warp-pad 2) The first time you have to ride the Jet-Ski, 
DON'T! because you can jump from '?' box to '?' box until you reach a platform on 
the river. When Crash's feet touch the ground, you'll be transported to the secret 
warp-pad.

3) Go to the level UNBEARABLE. (Warp-pad 3) right at the end, where Polar the polar 
bear throws you off, and you go rocketing over the pit, turn around and jump over 
the pit which you went over. If you keep going you will see Polar sitting around. 
Go up to him and you'll get transported to the secret warp-pad.

4) Go to the level DIGGIN' IT. (level 17 - Warp-pad 4) When you come across on of 
spitting plants which is on a CIRCULAR platform surrounded by a pit, jump onto the 
spitting plant and body slam it. (If you are not already transported to it then go 
onto the grassy part of circular platform) (DISTINGUISHING MARK - the spitting 
plant is surrounded by a pit)

5) Go to the level HANGIN' OUT. (level 16 - Warp-pad 4) After you've gotton past 
the first 2 parts where you are hanging on avoiding those mine-thingys, you should 
fall through a hole into some eel-less water. If you go "towards" the screen 
instead of "away" from it you will fall through another pit and now you have to do 
that hangin' thing again axcept now lava is under you and the mine-thingys go A LOT 
faster. Get through the hangin' thing and when Crash's feet touch the ground after 
getting through the hangin' thing you will be transported to the secret warp-pad.

NOW MAKE A NOTE OF THIS BECAUSE IT IS REALLY IMPORTANT!!!! - 

If you go through the BEAR DOWN way, you will be able to play the first secret 
level. (A secret part of AIR CRASH) When you go through the AIR CRASH way, you will 
be able to do the second secret level. (A secret part of SNOW GO) When you take the 
DIGGIN' IT way, you will be able to play the third secret level. (A secret part of 
ROAD TO RUIN [level 14]) When you take the UNBEARABLE way, you will be able to play 
the secret level, LEVEL 26: TOTALLY BEAR. When you go through the HANGIN' out way, 
you will be able to do the secret level, LEVEL 27: TOTALLY FLY.
