Everything you'll ever need: the official guide - Guide for Twisted Metal: Black

Twisted Metal 1 is an awesome game! I'm here to help you with it in case you need 
help or more info.

Weapons:

Tire Spikes: once you release them they hit the ground and your opponent runs over 
them and it slows them down.

Oil: they send your opponent off track if you plant them in their way.

Drop Mines: you drop them and they stay for 90 seconds in that time if someone runsx 
over them it will explode on them, if not then it just fades away.

Rear Flame: if an enemy is attacking you from behind then just fire this and a big 
flame will burn your enemy for 2 seconds.

Catapults: Drop these near an enemy and if they hit them they fly and land causing 
damage.

Rear: also a good weapon if an enemy is attacking from behind, it is a standard 
missile with slight homing capability.

Power: a missle with no homing capability that causes major damage.

Homing: a missile that homes in on an enemy target.

Freeze: a missile that freezes your opponent so you can make them stay in one place.

Fire: a standard missile with slight homing capability.

Battlegrounds:

Arena Duel: you face off 1 opponent in this little arena owned by calypso.

Warehouse District Warfare: you face off 3 opponents as you ride for your life.

Freeway Free For All: you face off 5 opponents on the L.A. freeway.

River Park Rumble: you fight 6 opponents while you run over the "beautiful people" 
of Beverly Hills.

Attack On Cyburbia: the suburbs of L.A. where you kill 7 enemies.

Rooftop Combat: be careful while you fight 3 enemies on L.A.'s tallest skyscrapers, 
and after you beat your opponents you face.......Minion.....

Special: Crimson Blade: a very short range laser that hits a nearby opponent Grade:

Special: Sizzle: a green splat that hits your opponent with metal eating acid Grade:

Special: Death Spawn: a person's head with a red blade on each end hits your

Special: Phantom Burst: a fire, homing, and power missile all in one except this 
missile will do anything to get the opponent, zig zags, flips, go underground, and 
even go right threw walls without dammaging them Grade: awesome

Relations: Brother of Spectre 2 (twisted metal 4)

Hammerhead
Special: Crusher: the car puts its front wheels on top of an enemy a shakes

Special: Steel Dagger: a triangle made of metal that smacks your opponent Grade:

Relations: Father of Roadkill 2 (twisted metal 4) and father of Roadkill 3 (twisted 
metal 4)

passwords:

if your having trouble winning practice with God mode 
 the code is: Triangle, space, square, Circle, Circle

if the limited amount of weapons is giving you trouble then enter this code for 
infinite ammo: Square, triangle, x, Space, Circle

to activate code hit start if entered correctly you will hear somed kind of sci-fi 
noise.   

choosing characters:
having trouble picking a character? this section will help you narrow your choices 
down.

if you want someone with a good special then the good choices would be: 
Sweet Tooth, Thumper, Mr. Grimm, or Hammerhead.

if you want someone with excellent armor so that you won't die as easy then the good 
choice would be Darkside

if you your just looking for a high-speed adventure then you should pick either 
Crimson Fury or Spectre

if you just want someone easy to control then your best bet would be Crimson Fury



NOTE: when enter passwords they ONLY last for that one game! If you start a new one 
you need to re-enter them.
