These are the same setups as NASCAR Thunder 2004. The presets for the gear ratios
are the only thing different. Just keep in mind that you want to maximize
acceleration and speed as much as possible while maintaining the appropriate speed
and acceleration for that specific track. For example, Martinsville should have
a huge acceleration bar and a small top speed bar while Daytona should have a large
top speed bar and a smaller acceleration bar. The wedge can also differ depending
on how you drive the car.

d TRACK STRATEGIES
Just like the car setups, I might do the other tracks later. These are just the
real ones.
-----ATLANTA-----
The number one problem I've had at this track which really threw me off is the
difference between the grade of the track and the shoulder. The track is very steep
and the shoulder is flat. When you go too low and down partially onto the shoulder,
you tend to spin out and fly back up onto the race track and get smoked by oncoming
traffic. It is better to be tight rather than loose. Try to qualify well and get
ahead of traffic alot so if you do spin out, you can steer the car off the road.
Accidents do happen.
-----BRISTOL-----
Stay out of trouble by avoiding going 3 wide into a turn. If you are trying to pass
someone and you get to the turn, back off and pass them coming out of the turn. In
order to do well here, you just have to focus on getting into the turns safely and
watching out for slow lapped cars and cars coming off of pit road. Most accidents
are from cars coming out of the pits and getting hit by another car because they
didn't look before they darted out or the other car was driving at the bottom of the
track because of the turn. This is a fun track.
-----CALIFORNIA-----
Keep your tires fresh and don't go too fast into those turns. California is pretty
flat on the turns so watch your speed. This is one of my least favorite tracks.
Getting onto pit road can also be a problem with worn tires. This is where I tend
to wreck once or twice in a 100% race.
