1. Introduction
____________________________________________________________________________________

If you have ever played Animal Crossing and just looking for better things then 
this is for you! Now then, in this FAQ I will tell you how to beat the stalk 
market, your house expansions, fishing tourney dates, some good passwords, and even 
how to start off. So if your planning on reading this then you better grab a Pepsi 
and some Pringles because you're gonna be here for a while.

2. Starting Off

If this is your first time playing Animal Crossing for the Nintendo Gamecube then I 
would first like to congratulate you for buying the game. Now then when you begin 
Totakeke, or his nickname K.K., will begin and tell you about moving out and wants 
you to invite some of your friends to town, then you can hop on the train. While on 
the train a blue cat will come and sit with you and ask for your name. You don't 
have to give your real name just give a fake one like Nokia, Tahj, Dohn, King, Ham, 
Harry, or even Monkey or Tater. Then naming your town which is a fun thing to do! 
If you can't think of a name then try one of these, Burntown, Red Wood, Chicago, 
New York, or Leroy. Now then he'll ask you where your moving to then when you tell 
him Don't know yet he'll go and call the cheepskate-yet kind Raccoon, Mr. Tom Nook 
who will sell you a house when you get to town.
  Well once you get to town you will notice Tom Nook come running to you and you 
get to pick your house. He will tell you that it seems some what cozy, the house is 
too SMALL! Now then Tom will tell you about the Gyroid and be sure to listen to 
what he says about your Gyroid! Now then Tom will ask for you to pay for the house 
which costs 19,800 bells...you only have 1,000 bells with you so that would not be 
enough and so he asks you to work in his shop to pay it off in which the errands 
are listed below.

1. Plant flowers & trees around his shop
2. Meet everyone in town including the Mayor
3. Deliver some furniture
4. Run and do some errands for people
5. Write a business letter
6. Deliver a Carpet
7. Deliver an axe
8. Put an advertisement on the bulletin board

Now then I only have to tell you two things: One when you meet the Mayor Tortimier 
say you respect your grandpa and you'll get on his good side. Two whoever you have 
to write the business letter to you have to deliver an axe to that person.
After you have done all the errands you are free to go put you still have to pay 
off your mortgage, now then you could earn your money or skip ahead to the Spoiler 
Sheet and look for money passwords.

3. Writing Letters
____________________________________________________________________________________

When writing a letter just to give someone something then try to keep it short and 
simple but if you go to get a favor from someone and they ask you to write them a 
letter then make it as long as you can! Remember if you can't write letters in town 
your going to have a problem with the townsfolk.

4. The Stalk Market

Every Sunday Sow Joan will be selling her turnips to the people in your town and 
this is how I learned how to beat the stalk market, buy 100 or 150 turnips, now 
then on Monday go drop 100 turnips in your house, go to Tom Nook's Store and sell 
the other 50 turnips, if you get good money for them then go get the other 100 and 
sell them, if you don't get good money then you lose. To acctually beat the stalk 
market you have to go to the Spoiler Sheet.

5. Your House
____________________________________________________________________________________

Once you've paid off the mortgage on your house Tom Nook will remodel it and make 
it bigger for a bigger price! If I'm correct this is how the list goes.

HOUSE        : 19,800 bells
EXPANSION 1  : 148,800 bells
BASEMENT     : 49,800 bells
EXPANSION 2  : 178,000 bells
2ND FLOOR    : 780,800 bells
STATUE OF YOU: 0 bells

But not only will you have to pay for your house you also have to furnish it. Your 
living room should have a theme like Modern, Red, Fruit, Green, Mario, Snowman, or 
Feng-ui. 2nd Floor you can have sets like Vases, Trophies, Models, or even 
Televisions. Now then the HRA will never grade your basement so you can keep all 
your junk down there.
  Now then I know what your asking, what is Feng-ui? This is when you put Green 
Furniture in the South, Orange Furniture in the North, Yellow Furniture ing the 
West, and Red Furniture in the East. The HRA loves this and gives high points for 
it!

6. Your Birthday
____________________________________________________________________________________

Find the most laziest person in town and keep saying What's up, or Entertain me, or 
Let's talk etc. now then he will ask you for your birthday and tell him your 
birthday. Now then he'll go to sleep so wake him up or he'll forget it. Check back 
in one day and he'll ask you what kind of person are you? Say Party Animal then 
he'll ask you what your sign is of the month, if he told you your sign when he 
asked you for your birthday then you'll know but if you can't remember it then just 
say yes. Oh and if today is your birthday or if it's coming up then happy birthday!
  On your birthday someone will personally come to your house and give you a 
present which will be a NES game. This is one of the ways you can earn NES Games.

7. Fishing Tourney Dates
____________________________________________________________________________________

If you're a good fisherman then the dates of the fishing tournaments will be every 
Sunday in June and every Sunday in November so catch as many fish as you can.

8. Dirty Money
____________________________________________________________________________________

Well if your thinking of making money then buy a shovel and start digging because 
if you dig up a fossil you can mail it to the Museum and when you get it back the 
next day you can sell it to Tom Nook for top bell.

Try burying and planting fruit trees, if you plant native fruit trees you can get 
100 bells for each fruit. If you plant fruit trees that are not native to your town 
then you'll get 500 bells for each fruit.

Make money trees, if you find a gold light coming from the ground then dig it up 
and get 1,000 bells, now bury 100 bells in the golden hole and after a few days 
it'll grow into a money tree.

Plant saplings and when their grown bees will move into it and you can shake the 
trees catch the bees with a net and sell them to Tom Nook for 4,500 bells.

Hit rocks with your shovel until you find the magic red rock and keep hitting it 
for more money.
